And they said, should have kept the old logo. And they turned it sideways. And now it's an L. I told you, that was my big issue with the Washington commander's black helmet. I love the helmet and the idea. But what's going to happen is people are going to remove the W when they lose.

Right on the front of the helmet. Right? Slap and L. And they're going to slap an L right on it. And they're going to put the crying Jordan eyes on whoever. Just expect to see it. Just expect to see it. It's going to happen.

I'm not, I don't understand a quarterback room. You don't have a quarterback room. I mean, that quarterback room of a room of Taylor Hineke,

Fitzpatrick, and Carson wins. And I don't know who, like, in my head of heads. It's like an island of misfit toys situation. Like, I don't know. I don't know what that is. I don't know what that room is. Hey. I mean, we have Mac.

You've got three starters. You have three starters. Right? You got three starters, but if you have three, you don't have one. Well, you have three that have started. That is true. Well, they have started in the NFL. Right.

I mean, we know what fits is. Fitz is better when he comes off the bench. I wanted, I did somebody shared with me. Oh, what's his name? Former Colts punter who's on the other. Pat McAfee. McAfee went kind of haywire on Carson Went, and called him the most reckless quarter.

he's ever seen. Wow. He's the most reckless quarterback with the football that I've ever seen. He goes, yeah, his numbers seem to be good, but you had to remember that,

like, there's one game last year. He goes, your touchdown interception ratio was fine, except for the fact that there was just one game where he could have thrown four

that the Patriot simply just refused to catch the ball. It's true. They dropped a lot in that game. But he called, like, he went hard. Like, this is, he's the most reckless

quarterback in the league. And then I, I, even more reckless than Peter Man? Well, no, because Peter Mann is not really an NFL starting quarterback. He was. He quite literally was a starting quarterback in the NFL. Because somebody forced that on him, but that wasn't earned.

The Peter Man did it. That was not earned. And then I was asked this yesterday, your thoughts on Carson Palmer, Carson Wentz. And I said, Wence was not, I was not afraid of Wence when he was with the Eagles, when they were good. like when they had dudes around him I wasn't afraid of Carson was and he had that one season where he was in the MVP race

and then he broke his leg uh cheeseburger asked this question should Seattle take a shot with Cap after they picked up after they picked up Drew Locke listen I don't see

Drewlock being better than Cap I don't see Drewlock being better than a lot of quarterbacks right like I mean there's a lot of dudes who have opportunities. The workouts, okay, so a couple of people that I know

got to witness Cap workout a couple of times in the past three weeks. And in their conversations, what they all said was the answer was just simply yes. And I ask about Cap. All I have to do is put in the word cap in a question mark. And I go, yes.

That he looks like good Kaepernick. Like he doesn't have... Like San Francisco Super Bowl. Yeah, he doesn't have the wear and tear. He doesn't have, like, he's had time to analyze things. But there are a lot of basic quarterbacks in the league who don't have

caps talent and don't have caps experience. That's true. Right? They just don't. Like, they're a bunch of basic dudes in the league. And to tell me that he's not one of the best, you know... 32. 64.

Oh, easily. Tell me he's not one of the best 100. Easily. Like, like that, that, that, that, that, you know, he's not one of the best. It doesn't even make sense. He could easily be a starter. That's how simple it was. And they said that, one, the wear and tear,

the fact that he does not have the wear and tear on him, that he may be, and this was the thing that made my eyes light up a little bit, that Colin Kaepernick may be the healthiest quarterback in the league if he were in the league. Like if he entered the league, he would be the healthiest quarterback in the league. Colin Kaepernick would be starter for the commanders, started for the Steelers. I would take him in Washington. starter for Houston. Oh,

absolutely. Easily. Absolutely. He'd start in Miami. I mean, he'd start for the jets. Right? Like, I mean, giants. He'd probably start for the Patriots.

Right. Like, I mean, so through that, I mean, you can, people can go through whatever, whatever hysteria they want to cause in their mind. Well, he was average or, no, no, stop, stop, stop. Above average. Stop. Like, just, you can't have that discussion. with me about Cap that way.

That doesn't make sense and there's no truth to it. But curious, right, that in this league now, right, that there are guys who are playing, because the way the league is evolving, one, you need a second guy, right? And most of the second guys are generally opposite to what you have as the first guy. So if you have a pocket quarterback,

there are teams that are making a purposeful leap and having a different kind of backup. Like the thing with Heineke was that he was mobile. And so whatever with Fitts could move, but Fits like being in the pocket. Carson Wentz, just from a fragility standpoint, you should stay in the pocket. You're trying to figure out what that is.

Like he can run, but he shouldn't. But I don't know that Washington is that team. for you to sit in the pocket and do that with. Quarterbacks don't have longevity recently with Washington. No. So to me, if you have a mobile quarterback, get you another guy who can stay in the pocket and vice versa, a guy who can get you through and do what you do.

It's going to be interesting, and again, the draft will play. Buddy mine was at the Malik Willis workout yesterday. And, yeah, that was the kind of reaction that they had was that he looked in person the way he looked on film, which was that, and before folks get too crazy, like my buddy down there compared him to Ben Rathlisberg. Like he said, that's the space that I would put in a league. As a quarterback, Ben Rathesberger, real nice.

Right. So, and he said, just from function, that's where he worked. Like, people wanted to put him in the Russell Wilson category, but he said, no, it's a little different because this one, there's a ruggedness to the way Rathesberger plays that Willis has. Shout out to Hugh Freeze and Liberty. Right? Like, I mean, you know, they put some receivers together as well. As a matter of fact, Washington has one in reserve. And for what Liberty does, remember, I'm from Virginia.

I'm going to tell you what Liberty's done as a football program over the last couple of years is very impressive. Like, okay, well done, that you're putting dudes in the league and having that conversation. Like, the Liberty flames, really? Like, you're going to draft somebody from Liberty? Like, yes, I'm going to draft somebody from Liberty. Right, and it's been a good move. So as the league evolves and as this thing evolves,

Yeah, I revisited the Matt Ryan conversation and what it does for the Colts, and I was like, okay, bravo. Then who are the quarterbacks who are eligible, who are available now, and who draw your interest? Who is available? Who's available? Like draft or free agent?

Free agent. I don't even know who's a free agent. Well, I mean, because, you know, James re-signs with the Saints. Did he? Yeah, he resigned with the Saints. Smart move. For both of them? Yeah.

For both of them. Michael Thomas should be back, so he'll actually get to throw the ball to Michael Thomas. And James Winston was having a pretty good season before he got hurt. Yeah, I mean, how old is James? James? Probably, like, early, like, I don't know, like 32. Not even. Maybe.

No. He's older than me. by a couple years, so he'd be somewhere between 30 and 33. He is 28. Oh, he's my age? 28. I thought he was older than me. 28.

That was kind of the point, right? You think of that there's some wear and tear. No, it was 28 years old. We were in college at the same time. So, and then, you know, you can acknowledge and kind of laugh at the Tua and the dolphins have come to some. sort of agreement that he's the guy? I don't know how you even play down there after everything they put him through.

Right? I mean, just bad. Like, you see what Tua went through and he never released a statement like Baker did, but I understand why Baker will, like, I don't understand the statement because it's weird, but I understand the sentiment behind releasing the statement. Like, I've given you everything and you're not, you don't even have like the decency to tell me.

Like, you were just like, all I hear is rumors of you going after another quarterback. Yeah, you're dating. Everybody on the side. Like, what are you doing? Like, just tell me, hey, you're going on a date. And then I say, hey, like, okay, if you're going to go after him, I would like to leave. And then it doesn't work out with your side. It doesn't work out with your side chick.

And you're like, I love you so much. They're literally telling you they're not loyal. Yeah. They're telling you to your face. They're not loyal. But then the side chick ended up getting with you anyways. And you still won't trade him. So two, the dolphins go get him.

They go get him a big banger, Edgard and Connor Williams. They get him a run. They get him two running backs. You get Chase Edmonds, who most people in the league love, and Rahim Moster, who everybody in the league loves. And then you get Cedric Wilson and a three-year deal at receiver. So you're actually showing him. We are trying to help.

We're trying to help you. We're trying to get you what you need. And taking the burden of the responsibility. Like to have the organization, to have that organization take the responsibility and say, we will get you what you need. this league do you get the updates on here this league

go ahead read it chiefs may trade tyreek hill kansas city has given the star wide receiver permission to seek a trade after extension talks have stalled uh then another breaking news bulletin the jets and dolphins are in serious talks to trade for chief's wide receiver tyreek hill

i don't know if we could stand jake shore Oh, God, no. I don't know. If the dolphins trade, if the dolphins get Tyree Kill, I don't know if I can come to the station for at least two days. Sortson will be unbelievably just, bah. Can you imagine that receiver room? Can'tua throw it far enough for Tyree Kill?

Yeah. Okay. Arm strength is what wasn't his issue. Oh, but he can't hold on to the ball. Remember he just has small hands. Well, yeah, but you can get rid of it quicker. Oh, I don't want the Jets or that. Why has it got to be two AFC?

Why has it got to be too garbage AFCs? You can't be mine. You don't want the Jets. You don't want the Jets. He's not going to go to the Jets. Does he have a no trade clause? I would hope that he does. He doesn't end up with the Jets.

No, he never got paid as the, you know, best. He's still on whatever deal he signed at the beginning. So this is the interesting part, right? Because you just hit on the thing that matters. that seems to matter the most is that this is the first opportunity for Tyree to get his. Like he's never been paid or is that true? Has he been paid?

I could be completely. Let me look at his contract. Has he ever, look up his contract? Because it seems to me like it's an opportunity for him to finally get paid at the level. Like he, this is almost apex Tyreek Hill salary situation scenario. Tyreek Hill He's going to make a lot of money Okay he is

He's been in league for six years He is in the He has a three year $54 million contract What does he get? He's a free agent Next year, unrestricted free agent Contract notes

22.54 mill fully guaranteed roster bonus per game Workup bonus salary roster Option workout workout roster reporting per game workout. No, no trade clause. No, no trade. So this is in play.

So he got in the league at 2016. He was signed through 2019 on a four-year deal. And then he, so he signed an extension. I don't know what year. But yeah, he's on a three-year, $54 million from 2019. So yeah. So he got an extension. and got paid, but that's not, you know, best wide receiver money.

What would Chiefs fans do? What would they say? They're going to be very sad. Right in that... He's like the perfect receiver for Patrick Mahomes. Right? Turn and sprint. Turn and sprint, and he's turned himself into an actual, you know, he runs really good routes. He can run shorter routes and break them off into bigger routes and uses those short of

to set up for the for the deep routes when Patrick just tosses it up and says Tyreek run under it. I mean, they signed JuJuCC, see, you thought Tyreek Juju Kelsey, like that was perfect because you lost to Marcus Robinson. You lost Byron Pringle. Yeah, this isn't good. This isn't good. Mikul Hardman's going to have to step up now. They signed him the year that, or they drafted him the year that Tyreek was in that whole legal

trouble and they weren't sure if he was going to be able to play that season. He ended up able to play that season. So they had, you know, Tyreek Light in Hardman. Yeah, but it's not the same. But it's not the same. And Sten makes a point on the text line. The Chiefs really don't scare you without Tyree. Like, I'm certainly less afraid.

With what the AFC West has been doing? I would be less afraid. And now, remember, I mean, Russ is in the building. If they lose Tyree kills. Russ is in the building. Yeah, if they lose Tyree Kill, they're not the best team in the AFC West. Right. They're just not because their defense is not good.

And they're losing Tyron Matthew. They just signed another safety, so they're not resigning Tyrone Matthew. Yeah, I'm not sure. So the defense doesn't scare you. The offense is certainly less scary without Tyreek Hill. Honestly, without Tyree Kill, you just doubled, you double Travis Kelsey and dare Juju Smith-Schuster to beat you. And from the text line, I mean, Cheesburger, is Watson still in KC?

No, he's a free agent. No, Sammy Watkins? No, he's in a, he's a Buffalo. Did he sign with Buffalo? I don't know, but I know he was with Buffalo last year. I thought he was a free agent. He might be, but he's not in case he. I thought he was a phrase.

Josh Gordon. And I wanted him, I wanted him in Washington. Oh, yeah. Samuel Watkins revived. I wanted him, I wanted him next to McGorn. He revived his career in Kansas City and then did a really good job in Buffalo. But Josh Gordon is going back to Kansas City, but you don't know what Josh Gordon or how many games of Josh Gordon you're going to get. What version?

Yeah. So. What end of the Polars? They're, look, they're probably going to have to go after some more wide receivers in the draft. I think of it, but I also thought that was interesting. I mean, you're not going to get a Tyree kill in the draft. No. Like, you're just not.

I mean, you're not going to get a Tyree kill anywhere. Now, but. You can get a receiver. Well, but there's some really good receivers in this draft. Oh, yeah. So they could get somebody that, for Patrick Mahomes, that would benefit. Well, they're picking towards the end. And save $18 million and save $16 million in doing it.

Well, there's, so there's, you know, the two from Ohio State, there's three from Alabama. Like, you're going to get one of those five towards the end of the first. Because people are going to go for offensive linemen and defensive players and the like. So, because this is also a very good offensive, well, hopefully a very good offensive line draft. Well, but also to figure out without assuming how much of this, how many of these players contribute right away when we don't know what system there. in and otherwise. So I think a lot of this year's draft seems to me to be about matching up.

This is the best of speed dating and hopefully you get it right. O'Kansas City has defensive needs. First and foremost. They have offensive needs. And if they lose Tyreek, they're going to need, you know, the right side of the offensive line needs short up.

Yeah. Yeah. Because the left side had two rookies. Well, the middle left had two rookies. Yeah, this will be deep. This will be deep. Ooh, buddy. Yeah.
