You're listening to one-on-one with D.P.
Brought to you by Canopy Street Market on 93-7 the ticket and the ticket-fm.com.
Welcome back final segment one-on-one.
DP, Nick Sanders, appreciate you all for hanging out with us for the hour.
Of course, we are live at the Adam Pierroticals camp, and it is a successful one.
They are currently handing out the 5MPP footballs for various young people.
I'm on Green, Crouch, except.
or we get it up there figuring out
Kenny Wille. Trying to figure out
what five superstars get
a pat on the back for the day. They got a
lengthy line of autographs that they
have to have to sign and get
through though first. But I mean it is
spanning all the way to the fence over there.
Those guys will be here for a little bit
long. And I
peak during
the break to see, to make sure that
in the line, there weren't
autographed hounds.
There are a couple.
You know, that
I heard there was a camp today.
Yeah.
Like, I'm always fascinated by it, like, at a youth camp.
At least wait until after the kids get their autographs.
Just from me to you, let the kids get their autographs and pictures first.
Hey, man, don't cutting.
You know, you know, you're a grown up cutting in line for 12 year old.
For 12 year old, pause.
You might want to reconsider your decision-making in the process, Dick Sater.
Yeah, probably.
The image is in my mind of some older gentleman sitting there with three footballs and a full-size helmet.
And he tells a little five-year-old, no cutting.
And his mom goes, he's five.
He's five.
He's a cutter.
That's literally, that's a part of the contract.
He doesn't understand life.
That's a part of the contract.
Sir, you are making an investment.
He is being a kid.
Allow him to have access.
Again, shouting out these exceptional coaches and Husker celebrities for showing up.
for the parents for committing to being here,
being here showing up, staying throughout the course of this thing,
and then being really good people along the way
and supporting not only their kids,
but being supportive to the athletes who are coaching
and leading their young people and understanding the value of it.
It's been an impressive day for day one of the inaugural
Adam Kerker Chronicles King.
And many more to come.
Many, many, many more to come.
I think this is a great precursor and set up also to just the season.
like this as we get past July 4th and closer to July 31st,
which obviously is the first preseason game.
And once we go to Big Ten Media Days in Las Vegas in two weeks from today,
it's like, okay, football's on the horizon in just a short amount of time.
It's going to be football season.
And that's everybody's favorite.
Nick, because everybody reached out to you,
you got all your business partners for the Big Ten football media days.
We got it.
We got it.
You're all locked in.
You're happy.
If anybody wants to be a part of it, how should they find?
You can reach out to me, Nick, at the Ticketfm.com.
You can feel free to just text in on the text line as well and say, hey, I'm interested in
learning more about that.
Plenty of packages, plenty of various ways to get involved.
If you want your name attached to a Matt Rule interview, guess what?
We can make that happen in just two short weeks.
Yeah, and we know who the Huskers are.
We know who the other coaches are going to be there, and we have a pretty good idea of which
ones who actually stop by the ticket table and sit out.
Your boy, not your boy, your guy, PJ Fliss.
He's my guy.
He's your guy.
He got extended through 2030.
He is my guy.
Sir ankles.
That's what his name is.
I was trying to think of his name.
Mr.
ankles.
I was trying to buy time to wait.
Okay.
What's his name?
What's his name?
The most fit ankles in the entire Big Ten football conference.
PJ Fleck will join us at Big Ten Media days.
Looking forward to it.
We'll see.
Ryan Day always gives a head nod.
We can always expect that.
Are Brett Bilema's ankles less red this year?
No.
No.
No.
No.
Brett Bielma is going to Brett Bielmo.
That's what we know about Big Ten Media days.
He is the tone setter.
He and Deshawn Foster will set both ends of the vacuum for us.
Deshawn Foster and his ability to just say, I'm here.
Well, and it's year too, right?
There was so much garbage made about his opening statement last year
and the way he talked about UCLA.
It's here too.
He's here.
I'm a fan.
And he's got a pretty good quarterback.
That's going to be there too.
I'm a fan.
And the talent pool for that.
One of these shows next week, we need to break down the talent pool.
The players that are coming from around the Big Ten conference.
But we will do that as well.
It's been an exceptional hour here at the Adam Kerker football camp.
And we appreciate it.
Don't go anywhere.
Back at the studio, 11th and O Street, it is.
The recent Hall of Famer, the black shirt himself, Thoreau Farley.
Bach and the black shirt will take you through to 130, to 3.
o'clock and then another hall of
famer Eric Strickler will take you
to five and then
another hall of favor Jay Foreman
will take you through to end of the early
day before we fire it up. I will
have Peter Colbel
Huskers head tennis coach
joining me at 7 o'clock for another one-on-one.
It's an exceptional day.
Kudos and applause to all
of the athletes,
parents, and young people
who put this event on and made
it what it was. It was a special day out here.
remember lincoln love yourselves because we sure do don't go anywhere more ticket coming up
