Back to one-on-one with DP.
Presented by Beatrice Makeray on 93-7 The Ticket and the Ticketfm.com.
Final second of one-on-one.
We'll jump over to old school at the top of the hour with Jay Foreman.
That's some fun.
He had a pretty good week this week with his picks.
He's on a roll again.
He may be unbearable.
He's on a roll.
I can't be mad.
Let's go to the Honda Lick and the Hotline time has been waiting.
Tom, what's up?
Hey, yeah, this is a great thing that you're doing with the hatred of Texas with Nebraska.
And when I've gone back years and years and years, you know, some of the people were saying the one second that was stood back on the clock, yeah, that's a huge deal.
But the thing is with Texas, other schools from Texas hate Texas.
Oh, you hate Texas.
I look at Texas as he's like Donald Trump.
He's got the big huge ego and all the money in the world.
And he's just one of those, I don't know, I don't want to get political,
but Texas reminds me a Trump.
It's just one of those things where the ego is just sickening with Texas.
Back in the day when Nebraska played baseball at East Texas,
and we'd go down to Beth Belcher and just whatever we could say to Texas, we'd say.
It's been going on for years, and it's been fun.
It was so awesome.
beat those guys
every night.
So,
again,
EP's great show.
Love the topic.
The last thing I'm
going to tell you,
the year that we took
the big 12
actually put that
second back on the clock.
Polini was right.
Many in the pocket.
My youngest son
dressed up as a
Texas football player
just for giggles
that night on Halloween.
There was more people
that shut the door
in his face
than Sandy.
and he was eight years old.
Tom, great call.
Oh, that's what.
You imagine an eight-year-old walking around saying he was a longhorn.
Oh, man, that's funny.
That's funny.
For the record, and I want to be clear about it.
Right?
Yeah, I'm sorry, guys.
So he literally said it, he said it the night after,
the Halloween after the Texas,
debacle, his eight-year-old son dressed up as Texas, a Texas football player, and had the door shut
on him several times by Nebraska fans. Oh, my goodness gracious. Also, through the thing, here's where we are.
And I repeat this so guys understand that I am consistent in who I am and how I present.
if you use this text line
and you use the phrase
liberal conservative Republican Democrat on my text line
I will block you because it's not what we're talking about
it's not the place for it's not the place for it
and if you're listening to this
none of the conversations have anything to do with that
so don't bring that into this space because that's not what it's for
this is a meeting place for everybody
everybody is welcome here be clear i mean it with all my heart everybody's welcome here i mean that as long as i as long as i have
breath don't do it don't make me do it i don't want to do it i don't need to do it just be decent when you
come in here that's all i ask for you'll be better for it i'll be better for it we will be better for it this is a
place of we.
Thank you.
That'll be it for one-on-one.
We will exhale, deep breath,
get a smile back and bring in the Husker Hall of Famer.
Some old school.
Coming up on 93702.
