Starting point is 00:00:00 Already at 945. We'll have some folks out there for you to meet. Samples, free coffee bar. The samples is just worth it. Come and taste everything. Again, there's a full range of things for you to taste and wrap your head around, a free raffle. The winners will be announced during the live show. So you'll have to show up that morning.
Starting point is 00:00:20 Get your name in the box. And we will draw winners while we're there. You guys know the deal. 424-6-4-6-85. You can drop me a line. hit me with the What's Up DP. Greatly appreciate it. You can call the Honda Lincoln Hotline at the same number.
Starting point is 00:00:35 Live video stream, Facebook, YouTube, Twitch. Have at it. Get to us. It's been a busy day. And Scott Frost just finished his presser about what's going on. And he went up and down the list of the guys who were the latest signese. And a couple of things pop out as we look at what we now know. offensively you got a tight end and chase androff out of out of Minnesota you've got an offensive
Starting point is 00:01:04 tackle out of east orange new jersey I do know a little bit about that young man and that's quite I think that's a pretty good sign you know why receiver victor jones junior from Orlando 62190 you got an athlete we're not sure what we're going to do with engaged stanger out of omaha and then richardores the 65 quarterback out of san antonio texas so they did do that and then you got some walk-on commitments as well. Cooper Hausman out of Norris, Luke Lindemeyer, Brady Weiss, and Charlie Weinerick. Five offensive players, one defensive
Starting point is 00:01:43 lineman, an inside linebacker, outside linebacker, two safeties, two corners, and an athlete that you can use in several places. You know, we know the local folks know what we're getting with applicant and, and, and, and, and Stinger, when you look at the rest of it, it's a little bit different. I mean, Androff at 6.6.2.30 means you can put some more on the frame,
Starting point is 00:02:12 but the guy's an athlete and can move. Jenkins out of East Orange at 6'2, 280 pounds, I would imagine that they pump him up to about 300 and get him to work. And he's got, look, he's got a skill set. You've got a long corner and Jaden Gould out of Somerset, New Jersey. You got a short corner, small corner out of Mississippi and Malcolm Hartzog, inside linebacker at 6-3-205. Everybody knows about Houseman. And then the two safeties, Gillum Martin and Deshawn Singleton.
Starting point is 00:02:46 Now, there are other transfers that are still in play and names that would be added to it. But the attention to detail, right? This is what you're able to do. yes, we've changed the day. We've changed the, this day doesn't operate and function the same way it did three years ago. Transfer Portal has changed the game in a different focus.
Starting point is 00:03:08 Right? Because there's some coaching staffs that have figured out, you know what? We need to be proficient at not only signing high school seniors, but we need to do really well about filling voids through the transfer portal. That's what's happened there. What's up, Tony Belloni?
Starting point is 00:03:24 Appreciate you. I was asked from the text on, again, you guys can read through, what's your favorite breakfast food? I'm probably the world's worst breakfast eater because I'm just not hungry. Coffee is my jam in the morning. If I have coffee, I'm good until 1 or 2 o'clock. And I'll just fast until 1 or 2 o'clock. And then I have to force myself to eat. Like even today I had to get here early, so I would eat.
Starting point is 00:03:54 otherwise it would be 6 o'clock and I would not have had a meal and then I got a punch in two meals in the evening so we try not to do that. Yeah, Texan, congratulations to Lexi Rodriguez, all making the All-American team. There was some intrigue about that as well that Laurence Diverins did not make the All-American team. And I think that can be placed solely and directly on the fact she didn't play an entire season. Like she missed substantial time. But I was a little bit surprised that. Kayla Kaffee was second team All-American after not being all Big Ten.
Starting point is 00:04:28 Yeah. And there are people, it's really a weird thing. There are people who do not want to give Lexi Rodriguez credit for being exceptional. But that young lady is exceptional. She's world-class volleyball player. She's small, but she's a world-class volleyball player. Most national people will tell you that she's the best defender in all of college volleyball. and her play against Texas kind of showcases.
Starting point is 00:04:57 As a matter of fact, I went public and said, I thought it was a little bit odd that I thought that when they picked, I understood that Nicolline Hames selection as MVP, but in watching the game, my ass kept getting drawn to Lexi Rodriguez. But Nicolin has been spectacular. Spectacular. So it's pretty cool to have three folks
Starting point is 00:05:18 in an honorable mission on the All-America team. Pretty good stuff across the way. There's lots of news. I asked Rico and Jake during the break, right? That it's a signing day where everybody goes Christmas shopping and figures that they can, just by waving a magic wand, that they can improve their football team. When you look at the names and numbers today,
Starting point is 00:05:46 I'll ask you the question. For a program that needs immediate success, who on this list can help them next? year I'll ask that like of the people who who signed today who gives who has the best opportunity to contribute to a program that needs immediate success next year is there anybody from this list that you makes you feel like you know what they'll walk in the door and help us and I think it's okay now Mark on while is just being ridiculous today.
Starting point is 00:06:31 I just want to, so as I'm going through this, Mark Onweiler then tweets that on days like today, he finds himself envious for all his balding coworkers. That is just disrespectful. Not everybody has your hair, bro. Like, what are you doing? You just, you're going to follicle hate on a Wednesday? Is that what we're doing?
Starting point is 00:06:57 No, you got the good hair. You got the full beard. I mean, come on. Isn't that enough? Just be happy. Okay. Okay. It's kind of rude.
Starting point is 00:07:09 I think you is. The Texan assistant, of all the players, they think that they can add to the Husker success next year immediately. The punter. The punter is what we, the punter. The punter. By the way, do we have a special teams coach? We do. We know we do.
Starting point is 00:07:32 Lou, he's just not, hasn't been announced. It's a day of Christmas shopping, and it's like instead of, you look at the Ohio States, the Alabama's, the, the core group of folks, that they went shopping at the, at Macy's, and, you know, they went shopping at the BMW store, at the BMW lot, right? They went shopping at the Porsche shop. Nebraska went to, where would you say they went today to get their shopping done? Hmm.
Starting point is 00:08:12 Hmm. I'll let you guys answer that. Of the top 100 players who were available to sign today out of high school, Nick, stop it. Look, we understand on days like today, man, it's, we are much smaller than the weather. And that's how that plays out. I saw that the stream went down. I did not notice. I noticed that the stream went down.
Starting point is 00:08:44 That's what gave me a clue that things were there. All right. So, Nick, let's do this. Let's go to an early break. Let's reset. And then we'll go back through and get everybody all the information they need for what's going on. Is that good?
Starting point is 00:08:54 You there? Yep. Okay. Let's go to early break. We'll come back. Live from Tanner's 30th, Yankee Hill. We'll be here until 6 o'clock.
