Presented by Beatrice Bakery.
On 93-7 The Ticket and the Ticketfm.com.
Welcome back to 101, Nick.
So you did get some Beatrice Bakery chocolatey goodness.
What did you try?
I had the chocolate-covered square with a little bit of jelly inside.
A little bit.
Oh, it was fantastic.
There was some nut in there.
It was fantastic.
They dropped off some goodies.
Yeah, I saw.
Uh, listeners, you're going to be envious.
Um, we actually have some samples up front.
So if you come into station to pick up a prize or you're just in the neighborhood,
come on in.
They've got little samples.
You can grab the samples individually wrapped.
Wonderful.
I want to.
I need to get more, actually.
Uh, so just to be clear, let me give you a little bit of this tour, right?
So we, we draw out there this morning.
And you're watching, you're watching, you're walking through and seeing the prep.
And all of this is made, this is made by hand and incredible workers.
Like, these folks work hard.
So imagine that there are people counting pecans by hand to make sure that none of them are shells, none of them have shells.
All of them are up to, up to standard in size and shape, right?
So, Nick, we're not talking about like 10.
We're talking about pounds and pounds and pounds of pecans.
No, no, yeah.
Yeah, it was, and they, they, in the chocolate cover, so I'm looking it up, chocolate covered fruit cake square is exactly what I had.
Mm-hmm.
And in it, the pecan, it was, you could taste it, but it didn't overpower anything.
There was that crunch, plus with the, the creamy, smooth chocolate, and then you had some fruit cake flavor.
Oh, it was, it was fantastic.
Well, to go in and watch while they're making, first watching them clean the machines by hand, watching the people meticulously handle each thing,
wrap each thing, prepare each thing.
And then we went into the,
they have like a mini store
that you can go into so you walk in.
And what they had done is they had picked four items
that they had thinly sliced for you to sample.
And I'm like, I'm being stubborn, right?
I'm like, no, nope, not gonna.
That looks.
You tried.
I was like, what is this?
What is this?
And I'm not, like I'm not a pumpkin person.
Yeah.
But they had this,
this cake this bread it was and i went in i went in with some distance right like i'm not really
buying into this i did the winning you know the winnie to poo happy tummy i do i do i can see
you doing it i was doing the winnie to poo happy tummy dance i'm i'm just looking at everything
they have and this is fantastic this so i want to
give away some stuff, but I also want to keep it.
So I can sample.
There's a chocolate room cake.
They have a strawberry daughey cake.
They have a, uh, uh, uh, uh, what do you call that?
Key lime, key lime cake.
And I'm just like the samples, I was trying to be like a goofball.
How can you not be when you're surrounded by this?
Like I was just in their store like doing the way to poo.
fat belly dance.
So I want to thank them for being so hospitable today.
And welcome me, Jake, and Mark, we're out there.
Again, we're going to do tons of business with them.
And to tell you, at the top of the hour, I will tell you what Beatrice's Bakery is going
to do for you all.
They have put together a thing that is so special and is so love-filled and so love-based
that I'm all for it, man.
I'm just telling you, amazing.
We'll talk about it.
in old school at the top of the hour.
Jay former will join us at four.
And we'll get you through a day in sports,
Major League Baseball's playoffs.
NBA full night of schedule, NHL.
Lots to talk about.
