Back to one-on-one with DP.
Sponsored by the
Downtown Lincoln Foundation
on 93-7 the ticket.
We are back
here with one-on-one on 93-7.
The ticket, once again, Derek Pearson,
out of town on his way to Houston,
as is Jake Swartz, and Austin, Orman,
Bill Bush. I believe Stipple is already down there,
so we've got a large
contingent of folks that will be watching
Nebraska beat Iowa.
to get to the lead aid.
Of course,
plenty of social media interaction as well.
So follow all those guys on Twitter and follow along as part of your viewing and experience
and just whatever it is.
I mean,
any which way we're going to take this in is going to be a lot of fun.
Kind of interesting.
I'm not a huge people person as far as like crowds.
I might go down.
Well, the bigger thing is for me,
because D.P. Keep asking me this, and I feel kind of bad because the story, you know, I should be, I'm out there with everybody, you know, celebrating with Husker Nation. I'm kind of just like listening to the broadcast. I'm a, I'm a broadcaster. I particularly like to listen to the broadcast, get the notes, the details, all that sort of stuff. I don't drink. You know, I think that would be a big, you know, would be one one thing that would help as far as somebody going out and all that sort of stuff. But how do you think you're going to try to take,
these games in. Well, I'll be here probably.
Well, there you go. Yeah, yeah. We're also
short staff because everybody's left. So Thursday,
more than likely, if Harris
needs help with post game, I'll hop in.
That's usually how it goes on those 6 o'clock
starts, 8 o'clock start games.
And then Saturday,
more than likely, not more than likely, 100%. I will be the one
running the post game show. And as you said, if you'd love to chime
in as well, 402, 465, 5, 6, 5,
those days, also right now as well,
text lines open all the time. And those shows are for you,
because without you guys chiming in,
it's just us sitting there talking to the walls.
And then Austin calling in for 20 minutes as well.
Without you guys,
it's just us sitting here like that meme of the guy talking to the wall,
the brick wall.
That's what we're doing.
But without you guys,
you guys make the shows last Saturday was awesome to say the least.
Like I said,
there were people lighting off fireworks banging on the glass out here on 1040 Street.
People honking their horns.
And then we had the chat just blowing up across all our social media.
So, but yeah,
I'm more of a guy who just sit down,
watch the broadcast, see,
what little tidbits I can pick up throughout there with all.

flashed today to get the most effective learning program out there at the best price.
Well, the notes, they always flash up the, like the decibel levels.
They put up the decibel levels, I think for the first time in an NCAA tournament
game ever on Saturday.
I don't think I've ever seen that in a neutral site game.
But Nebraska was able to show out and do that to Oklahoma City.
But yeah, more than likely, I'll be here.
So, yeah, if you were Saturday night and you're walking by, hey, around 5, 37, whatever time
the game.
That's all if they beat Iowa.
I'm not saying to get it.
We're going to have a game Saturday, but I think we're all anticipating them winning just because Nebraska is the higher seed.
They are.
They've got the win against Iowa this year.
But I won't say, I won't say when.
I'll say if just because I don't want to be, I don't want to be the jinx because there is such a thing in sports.
So, yeah, if they play Saturday, I'll be here.
But also I'll be your Thursday as well when that game is going on.
So like I said, I got chills to say the least.
Yeah, yeah, it's going to be fun.
I know everybody out there.
is kind of setting it up.
And if you are like me,
you like to stay home,
you gotta get some food ready.
You know,
you got to get that ready.
A great place that you could go
that we got today for lunch
was sweet things by Marcy.
She does,
brings us a delicious food every week.
We got kind of different favorites.
She brings in different sandwiches.
You more kind of are toward the chrots.
They have like a croissant.
Yeah.
I don't know,
I don't know what to describe it.
It's,
it's so good.
Like,
I don't really,
I'd have to look at like the like the menu.
but it is so good, like, to describe it.
Like, it's like, usually they're back there and they're gone within like by 4 o'clock.
That's right.
Usually I come back, you know, I come back later at night to put the, you know, the tray away.
And usually the tray is just empty.
I'm like, well, this is easy.
Makes my life easy.
Put away food at night.
So, yeah, it's good.
The food's just amazing.
I mean, not just her, but everybody else who brings in food throughout the week as well.
It's, uh, it makes our jobs easier because then we have an easy lunch.
And it's awesome to see kind of that community support from them, uh, not, not only
from them, but just everybody in general.
Yeah, yeah, it is.
And so again, you know,
she's got several different options.
She brings in soups, which are delicious with us to have as well.
But I particularly like these panini sandwiches that she's been bringing in
over the last couple months or so.
So if you don't know what I'm talking,
go try a panini sandwich from Sweet Things by Marcy.
That's sweet things by Marcy.com.
She's at 1413 in street.
If you want to go pay a visit, you won't regret it.
delicious food there for us again every week here.
All right, let's go ahead and take a break.
We'll wrap things up with one-on-one.
Coming up next year with myself, Jake Fockman and Nick Wyman.
