He was the baby. People don't know this, but you know that meme of the baby who just falls over. That was Nick. We just didn't know early on it. Parents are just like holding his head up all the time. They're like, come on. Extra pillows. Use your neck muscles.

Extra pillows. What are you doing? He had to put extra pillows like on. the floor in front of him. What are you doing? So I'm just scrolling, you know, just scrolling through Twitter while we're talking about Nick's gigantic head. And I just saw like three recruits say that they are no longer taking official visits to Texas.

What is happening? Heaven. What is happening to Texas? Heaven. It's our wishes, our dreams. Like, I'm not mad at it, but like seriously. No, Texas is, like, look, be honest with yourselves. You hate Texas.

You don't have to like them. They could be, you know, the gum underneath your shoe. They could be the dog poop in the yard, whatever. But when it comes to, like, you know, a football university, like prestige, like Texas is pretty close to the top. And nobody wants to go there, it seems like. Yeah, I don't, I don't, I don't understand it. I don't know. I just saw the head.

I just saw the head. Like, what in the world? It's like, I saw planets orbiting it. If I throw a stapler at him, well, it's just a tats to it. It was just its own. Is Steve Sarkesian that bad? Its own gravitational pull. Do they have no money?

They have money. They have money. They have so much money in Texas. They have, like, they can't wait to tell you how much money they have. Not enough to get O'Shawn Mathis. Yeah, but I don't, like, I don't, like, it's twofold. So it's the money side where they have so much money that they literally, could just do what they want. But also that it tells me that Texas A&M is stealing some of their money.

Like the Texas A&M, and that's old military money. Is Baylor able to get in the talks? I mean, you know, on the football field, they've been pretty solid. Are they able to get in the talks with money? I would imagine so. I understand it's a private institution, but. Well, because, again, more boundaries are removed for Baylorers. to do it, but Baylor is so comfortable with what they can and can't do.

I mean, Baylor's broken the rules of recruiting for as long as far back, back to the Mike Singletary days. Baylor's been, I'm not sure there's been a program that's been on suspension as much as Baylor. Baylor football break, like they're the, they're the standard for what you can't do. So they know, like they've been investigated so many times. So they know how to maneuver around this thing. Is Houston going to the Big 12? Obviously it's going to help them. Is that going to crush Texas, not crush it,

but like help with the downfall even though they're going to the SEC or is them moving to the SEC going to assist with the recording? I don't understand Houston's move, first of all. I don't understand it. That's not who they are. That's not who they are. Like it just, it doesn't make sense. Now there's money at you of age.

There's money. Yeah. But it doesn't make sense for them because they were firmly entrenched as the next level where they got to do some things and got people to come there because they were going to be highlighted and they didn't have to deal with Alabama and Florida, etc. They could show out against all the other teams in the American and every once in a while. It's one thing to face Cincinnati and Navy. It's an entirely different thing for you to face Florida and Texas A&A. and LSU. And face Texas like once.

Right. Like it just now, three years from now, when that happens and they have success against Texas, that hold it in ballgame. It's a holding ballgame. And in their minds, do you believe that you want to be better than Texas? Because not everybody wants to be, like everybody in the SEC doesn't always want to be the one being hunted. Everybody's not built. to be chased like Alabama.

Yeah. That's a lot of pressure. Clemson doesn't like being pursued the way they're being pursued currently. Because that's a lot of pressure, and you get everybody's best shot. Like Clemson liked being the underdog to Florida State and Miami. They didn't like, they don't like being the hunted at the top of the heap. Dabo's not wired for that. He's just, that's just not his deal.

Texas A&M is really good at chasing at being the pursuer. I don't know what happens to A&M if they ever. ever beat. If they reach the mountain. Like if they ever win a title, I'm not sure they don't know how to handle it. Because they never have. As the meme said yesterday,

nobody alive has ever been around for A&M to win. Like, that's crazy. That is crazy. Like, that's crazy. And you're reaching the point that nobody, Texas with Vince Young was exceptional, but it took something ridiculously off the charts for it to be valid. Not everybody wants.

to be top. Nebraska needs to make that decision. It's one thing to say you want to be Ohio State and be better than Ohio State. But can you imagine them being pursued by Ohio State and people nipping at your heels? Think of everything that's required for that to happen. I haven't been, I was alive for it, but I wasn't like conscience brain wasn't all there for those times. So for me, Nebraska has mostly been the hunter. Not the hunted. It takes a different mindset. Like, not everybody wants to be Patriots.

They say they want to be the Patriots, but not everybody's built to be the Patriots. And you can't have that kind of success unless you're willing to do Patriot type stuff. That long-term success comes with a lot of things that you probably don't want to do or never thought about having to do. Like Bill Belichick,

the Patriots, they cut people in what is considered their prime because they're like, look, we know that you maybe have two years left, but we're building for six years down the road. Like the Cowboys. Cowboys are great pursuers, but they haven't been great elite in a long time. It's a different space to be in, and not everybody's built for that pressure or that responsibility. Pressure burst pipes. So for whatever's gone in Texas, if you're a Husker fan, enjoy yourself. cheer, taunt,

otherwise. But remember, in that mirror, there you go. There you go. Nebraska's doing some recruiting right now. The results have to show up. Because if the results don't show up from the work that they've put in this year, the stuff that's happening now

will stop. They better win with the NIL and the transfer floor. You can only have a losing record and recruit at this high of a level for so long. No, you can do it, but you better be successful. You better win. And we will see.
