Hey, what's up y'all? Kelly Clarkson with Wayfair. My favorite thing about the holidays?
Decking out my whole house. It's not a competition, but if it was, well, I'd win the season with Wayfair.
Outdoor inflatable Santa? Got it on Wayfair. Trees, lights and ornaments? Wayfair. Hosting must-havs, like dining sets, beds, sheets, and towels. Wayfair.
For everything in your style delivered with fast and free shipping, visit Wayfair.com or the Wayfair app to win the season. But again, it's not a competition.

Sponsored by the Downtown Lincoln Foundation, on 93-7 the ticket.
Paint your face.
Paint it!
Pump up your muscles.
Tassels.
Around your calves and biceps.
Blow up your hair.
Go sprinting through the office.
A bot.
This is a moment.
We've been waiting for for a very long time.
I need you to walk towards me right now.
I need you get up.
All right.
I need you get up, Bach.
I need you get up, Bach.
I've been waiting for this moment.
Kind, sir.
Get your warrior on.
Ha ha ha ha.
How about that, Bach?
How about that?
We're complete.
it happened it happened it is warrior monday on one on one if you're not on the stream
we have been back to explain to them what has happened here if you're not on the stream you don't see
we have warrior mask on now a little bit worried when we're talking about the ultimate warrior
and tell me to come close to you but we're going to test this old fighting thing yeah we're going
I'm going to test this fisticum's thing.
Where do you get this?
We have great fans.
We have great listeners, man.
We have great family.
And they're like, so when are you going to do?
Because they were going to do the, like actual face paint.
And you can get like a face paint kit.
But he goes, no.
We actually have.
He goes, check your mail.
And here it is.
So we are fully warrior mask up.
for the first time ever on the ticket
and we need
we need this in Husker colors
is that is that right
yeah yeah that'd be cool right
Bill and Bennett I tell you what I'm going to leave
one of these masks for you
because I know you you appreciate it
yeah we had it yeah sometimes you got to
yeah you need if you're gonna if you're gonna go shopping
Christmas shopping you need your ultimate warrior
that literally is how you should walk
into stores that's how if you're gonna if you're gonna go Christmas shopping in this
insanity this is when you should you should have your warrior mask and the full
with the full outfit like listen you know pop up the muscles tie up the tie them up
put tassels on and just snort just walk through the store walk through the aisle
just standing that George Foreman grill is my
but it doubt or feel the rap of the warrior we absolutely so yeah back i was waiting i got him last
week and i couldn't i couldn't oh my goodness i had to yeah he said that's a masking chaos
on black friday yep same deal same deal absolutely same deal yeah we need this uh we need this for husker wrestling
matches? Yes. Is that fair? Like we need... I think we would be even more popular in the
all the kids be reaching for high five for the tunnel. Right, but we need somebody to create
a Husker Warriors mask. And it would be, I would say that it's for a Husker, you know, Husker fan
kids, but I also know that Husker fans, I know the dad's with it. I know. Can you a man? Come on. Come on. Come on.
Man of a certain age.
Come on.
I don't know if it would go over well in the media room.
No, probably not.
Probably not.
But I just think, like, you know, you can have a whole section of Warriors.
That's maybe we'll do that.
Maybe I'll have, I'll find a way and I'll get like a hundred.
And we'll, we'll set up like 100 general admission tickets and have like a Husker
warrior section.
That'd be awesome.
Maybe we'll do it for basketball.
Maybe we'll do it for, like, in the student section.
Yeah, I wonder how expensive these are.
This should be doable.
Well, I mean, I think if you gave, if you gave away, you know,
like 100, like the first 100 or 500, like the people who are in the front rows.
Yeah.
Right?
Those, those Big Ten TV shots of all like Husker Warrior fans.
Just, you know, oh my goodness.
It's a, and I think they missed something.
is that they never did
ultimate war
they never did the
the road warrior mask
did they ever did they ever sell those
I don't know
like the hawking animal
right
I don't know right
but you would I would wear
I would I would wear that
right
I mean I think they did it for like
axe and smash demolition
I thought I was trying to look it up to see if there was any
but is there a Husker
wrestling mask? I know they're like Husker mask
like they have a full white mask with the Husker end on it
but I'm thinking like a full on
like
Ultimate Warrior
Ultimate Warrior
Jake Sardson
Farley's jealous.
Farley's jealous.
He doesn't have a mask.
All the cool kids do.
I think we should do that, right?
Animal or Hawk?
Yeah, Bill and that's the thing, right?
I mean, I think, I think Hawk had the better face paint.
I mean, if they did, but you could do both.
And I think, yeah, Eric, I'll leave.
I'll make sure there's one for you.
Because you deserve that.
I think it would be a great idea.
But I don't know if we had Husker Wrestling Man.
Rescue, Wrestling.
So I don't know.
All right, Bach.
We're supposed to pay a bill in this segment, kind, sir, if you would, please.
All right.
This hour is sponsored by Shwezo Construction, where safety isn't just a policy.
It's a promise.
Shwezo is hiring skilled craftsmen, laborers, concrete workers,
and steel rectors who value,
quality work in a team that has your back on and off the job side applied today at shuiso.com
40 years strong in business shuiso construction yeah look at them being all about safety
and whatnot look at them setting rules and boundaries the nerve the nerve of them to have standards
fuck how will we exist with rules that would be um talk me through this run and i want to make sure
we give the women's program credit as well, in full, right, in passing, that on a day when
Brent Prince didn't have her best effort, her best result, that her leadership still was
profound. And I don't know how good can this women's team be. Let's, I mean, is this, this is
top third of the big 10 for both the men and women's program. The women's program and the top
third. Now, they made a bid
because they took UCLA, they got
to the semifinals
in the Big Ten last year
and stretched
UCLA, who
ended up winning the dang thing. So we know
that there's talent within the program.
But what's the North Star? What's the standard? What is
the expectation? What can we look
for when a Husker women's, is this
top four in the Big Ten? Is this, is this,
Is this winnable?
Is this, we're in a better spot to win a first round game?
What's the ceiling?
Well, I mean, that's kind of somewhat remains to be seen, right?
I mean, that's what we're waiting for.
They're one of two Big Ten teams that are undefeated along with Maryland.
Of course, you've got some other pretty darn good teams,
the UCLA's of the world in the league as well.
And we're going to see here.
I mean, you ask and you shall receive their next two games.
So part of the question, right, for Nebraska men's side was,
okay, they got that top 15 win on the road.
kind of validates this undefeated season.
Nebraska is going to have that opportunity
of the women's side as well in their next two games.
They've got USC coming up here in a week from today,
actually, next Monday.
And USC is number 17 right now.
That will be at home.
It's a little bit different,
but still you get a top 25 team.
And then they will go on the road at Iowa on the first of the year,
2026.
And that is a top 15 team on the road.
So not that they're competing.
with men, but kind of an opportunity to get a similar resume nailed down there.
I think I'd be interested in fun.
Of course, Juju Watkins is not playing for USC this year.
They do have a hot shot freshman who's come in and they had depths from last year,
but they are not last year's version of the Lady Trojans.
And Iowa, we don't know who they're going to be in full.
like we think that we know the style of play
and we know some of the some of the players
but I'm not sure we really think
this is not Caitlin Clark Iowa
but this is NCAA tournament aisle
is that fair?
Yeah absolutely again they're number 14 right now
you've got eight teams ranked in the big 10
including Nebraska
and in the top 25
excuse me including Nebraska
three ranked in the top 10
who are those teams so UCLA's number four
at 11 and 1 Michigan
who's got a pretty good men's and women's team now.
10 and 1 at number 6 in Maryland is the only other undefeated team in the Big 10
besides Nebraska at 13 and 0.
They're ranked 7.
Where's Indiana?
Indiana is currently 11 and 2 unranked.
So when we talk about depth of it and kind of making statement making that Amy Williams
in this program has the opportunity.
Now, I think they're finding if PetroBoson is going to give them the
quality of play that she's got, if, if Petrie's, if Petrie's going to score and, and if she can be
in the 12 and 8, 14 and 8 space, this team's going to be difficult to beat because Hargrave gives
you juice off the bench. We know that Brit Prince can handle in most situations. She's in a
pretty good space where the system allows her to dictate and then capitalize if she's having a
good night or not. So if she's feeling it, she's allowed to capitalize. If she's not feeling
it, she can use her skill set up her teammates, which she's been exceptional at. And then the
depth is that Amy's going deep into the bench. The second group can go five deep and not really
lose anything. It's a different style of play. They've got different tempo players. And then they've
got shot makers. You have the leadership of Colin Hake, who also, I mean, people think it's
Britt Prince's team, but I'm almost going to say that the heart of this thing is
Calvin, hey, is that a fair statement? Well, it can be. I mean, I appreciate especially,
you know, what she gets going. I mean, as a team, they look pretty darn good from,
especially kind of the assist category, right? They average 21 assists per game. She leads
with five assists per game. Of course, Britt does her own job there with, you know, 4.3,
but Callen at 5.1. So there's always an argument to be made for the point card.
it is an interesting run and by the way great job you and austin last night with
post game show great breakdown great insight on on the husker men again we you know
think about this it is a different era and time that where we would find some reason to
criticize or to set caution after a 20 point win but necessary because you start to look for
things that need to be fixed and can be adjusted and elevated.
And that's a great place to be where you're just shooting for,
hey, listen, there are a lot of good things for us to talk about.
And there are fewer things to talk about that are negative.
Their entire box where the entire postgame show was two hours of negative.
Now we had one or two things to talk about.
It's a different era for men's basketball.
And by the way, they are up to number 13.
in both the polls. So moving up from number 15, knocking on the door of that top 10
matchup that I'm hoping for, though they can get there. By the way, Michigan State number
nine, they didn't move at all. But that definitely could be around the corner. Yeah, it's been
interesting to sit back and go, okay, what do we have, what do we truly have? Like, what do we
truly have? And I listened to a lot of Husker fans go through that, that, that, that, that, that
mental dance of do we are we fully invested in this right can we emotionally all dive all the way
in the pool and there are people that want to do that don't want to do that um i understand that
that that that but i'm just going to say i'm going to dive in and i'm going to enjoy that's just
me that that that that's just me so um textor i love our textors uh phil says this DP and we i'll
take a minute here. D.P., I need help
to help me understand,
remember something from the late 80s
WW. There's a tag team
named Powers of Pain who feuded with demolition
were the powers of pain also the road
warriors. They seemed similar, and I
didn't follow WCW back in the day.
No, they were
cast similar to, but the
powers of pain were actually the barbarian.
The barbarian was
a single wrestler
and then they paired him with the warlord
and the warlord who did some singles work in the WWF
they thought he was going to be
they thought he was going to be
kind of a real big superpower
a Vader kind of guy
it just never happened for him as the warlord
it just never like it just never
people never really bought in
the barbarian was a chronic
mid-level champion contender
wherever he was.
He was about 6-2-3 bills.
They were both about 300 pounds.
They were listed as 623 pounds combined.
But yeah, to start their feud,
I mean, they attacked the road warriors.
And that was really the beginning of it
with the face of pain, same body types and other ones.
So, yeah, yeah, powers of pain.
Good, good pull.
We'll go to break, come back, or close out.
