Starting point is 00:02:50 Visit Hamilton.com for more info today. Thank you, kind, sir. it is a week of thanks and I am loud and consistent in the fact that getting to my best human version requires that I say three things as often as possible authentically and demean them right and it's the three things it's three things that when I wake up in the morning being grateful for the day saying thank you, saying thank you for the opportunity, thank for all the blessings that are condemned that day, thank you for all the good people in my life, thank you.
Starting point is 00:03:33 And then to be active in saying, I love you, and that being authentic and being around people that make you want to say it, people that make you think it, and make you feel like love is present, all the good people in your life requires action and love together. So you have to be active in it. The phrase, the three words, is love out loud. See something good, say something good. The only regrets we have is when we love somebody, they don't know that they're love. So love out loud. And then finally at days end and at mission accomplished, we say well done. well done to who you are, who you're striving to be, the advances you made today, the people whose lives you've enriched and improved,
Starting point is 00:04:27 all the blessings that come your way and all the blessings on the way. Well done. In this week of thanks, I'm going to ask you all on the text. And just and be authentic in it. What do you thankful for? Who are you thankful for? Bach, I'll start with you, kind sir. What are you thankful for?
Starting point is 00:04:57 Well, I've got plenty to be thankful for this year. You know, I kind of, I like the, I don't want to say the speech that you were given, but you're kind of opening there because I think it is very important. And in this time around the holidays, you kind of do gravitate toward loved ones and love. and there can be, of course, family arguments about this or that, but you've got to remember that that's not what this holiday's about and all that.
Starting point is 00:05:21 So, I mean, the people that have impacted my life and that I do love, I mean, it's on more than two hands, right? So it's, I'm very blessed in that way. Yesterday was one of the best days of my life. We found out we've got another member coming to our family.
Starting point is 00:05:38 So my wife is pregnant officially. So, yeah, that's what I'm thankful for. That's an easy, It's a layup this year for me. That is well done. Well done, Vach. Well, done. Well, done.
Starting point is 00:05:52 Here's, this is, I'll tell you a little thing about spending time with people. You start to feel their vibration. And I purposefully started with saying thanks because I thought in this space, that's what you, this is, it's just a vibe. It's just a vibe when you're around people and you can tell there's a just a different, you vibrate differently and it's necessary. And when you're adding to that those two are adding to,
Starting point is 00:06:26 when you're adding to your world, your community, your family, your life, your blessings, your path, your way, it's such a wonderful thing. And we spend time berating. spend time objecting, we spend time separating, but take advantage of the opportunity to say thank you. Like just to celebrate and be grateful for everything and everybody in your space who add to. Textors, I'm going to let you know. I'm going to read your text. So if you, if you have somebody you want to say thank you to that you're thankful for, if there's something you're thankful for and we know our text line that if i if i don't put a disclaimer on it right
Starting point is 00:07:19 we'll get all sorts of things what i what i want what i'm seriously if there's your wife your significant other your husband your better half your family the greater version of you i had the opportunity um to celebrate with brother chip baker who took all of the impact of Influence books and all of those authors, right? And they made a movie. And that movie was on the big screen Wednesday. And there, in a celebration, is him talking about going to Salt Lake and the DMV and talking about the tickets owned and in that space, that he created a space where people could just
Starting point is 00:08:08 be thankful for the people who loved on them. And that's ideally what all this is, that we're able to say, thank you and appreciate the blessings. Ryan says this, I'm definitely going to be thankful for my crown vanilla to deal with all of my family. And I think what he meant to say was that he gets to deal with his family. You can eliminate all the rest of it. It's, here's the thing.
Starting point is 00:08:38 My mother's gone. my father's gone. Becky's mom is gone. Becky's father is gone. I have brothers and sisters who are gone. No longer with us. Lost some people of importance. I would give anything
Starting point is 00:08:54 to be able to sit at the table and disagree with them one more time. I would give anything just to be able to sit at the table with them and disagree about nothing one more time. because it was them. It was them. Railroad and Matt says,
Starting point is 00:09:17 congratulations to the Bach family. Eric says, congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Bach. Cubsker says this. I'm thankful this year for how good God's been to me. This year, even I haven't been the best version of me. I'm thankful for you all to take it for all the amazing conversations that you had
Starting point is 00:09:36 and how everyone is included in that space. Kubsker, you are ticket family. your ticket family and the fact that the best version of views yet to come that's what tomorrow's for at least you're aware you're aware and knowing text your uh 9096 says i'm thankful for my boss scott well done scott well done cheeseburger says i am thankful for all the mistakes i made as a child and choices my wife made to impact how i grew up becoming the man i am today Isn't that a wonderful thing, Bach, that there are people who love us at our lower versions and then they help create better versions of us, right? That if we can't forget, Becky didn't meet me at my best and Becky didn't, didn't re-meat me at my best.
Starting point is 00:10:29 None of this is possible without her. I'm thankful for coaches who loved on me, who pushed me to be better than I was practicing to be. Right? Because if I don't learn those lessons, I can't sit here and have these discussions. I'm thankful for all the Husker grades who decide to share their stories themselves.
Starting point is 00:10:59 grateful for the staff that, quite frankly, outkicks the coverage on a daily basis. Again, if I could ask Bach this in full honesty, if I said to you four years ago that this is what you're doing and who you're doing it with on a daily basis and here's what's required of you. Buck, what would you say? There's got to be some work done between that things. some stuff and it requires when they say it requires the village it requires the community of family it does because we rely heavily on another and shout yeah we want to give thanks and blessing austinorman and family right ticket families grow it all over the place
Starting point is 00:11:45 it's growing all over the place keep it moving right amazing you know austin he's like well i need time bro go say less say less say less character i got stuff say less ad i need to go love one say less go you have people you have family here that will cover for you and will continue having these conversations and this will continue to be a meeting place for for lincoln and husker fans alike back to the text line uh bill and bennett um no no not doing that today i'm i'm not i'm not doing that today doing that today. Ryan says this in all series, I'm thankful for the food I get to eat because some people
Starting point is 00:12:37 aren't fortunate of and friends and family that have come into my life. Yeah. Yeah, that not everybody has what we have. There's a ton of people who are really struggling right now. They're really grinding and it's uncomfortable and they may not even be sharing that with you. I would say, if you're able, love on somebody else. Because folks are telling you, at times their heart, and people are prideful.
Starting point is 00:13:11 They don't want to share that, my goodness, we're struggling. We're fortunate and blessed here to Ticket that our business partners and our sponsors have stuck with us and stayed active for local businesses that continue to support Ticket. and what we do. So, yeah, Ryan, be thankful for having the meal and being able to break bread and sit at the table. Be thankful for the family and friends, the people who come into your life to add to and make it better.
Starting point is 00:13:45 Darrell says this, I'm thankful for having 60 years of my mother's love, influence, and support. Rest and peace. Yep, Darrell, bravo. I truly work from this. The thing that my grandmother told me many, many years ago was that you speak out loud in love while people are here so that they receive their flowers. But when they're gone, just imagine that in heaven there's a little bell.
Starting point is 00:14:10 And every time somebody that loves them mentions their name, the bell rings. From that thinking, you want to mention the people who are no longer with you so that they know in heaven that somebody is loving them thinking about them. That's what a day of thanks is all about. Simple biz. A text says this, although I have many things to be thankful for it, to be relevant to the show. I'm thankful for the great shows that I get to listen to every day. D.P. Bach, Farley, Austin, and Fullman, y'all do a great job. Happy Thanksgiving and happy Thanksgiving to you.
Starting point is 00:14:46 Because you are why we do it. You are why we do it. We get to hang out with y'all. And we appreciate you hanging out with us. back to the text line the texter says I'm thankful for Ms. Janet customer of mine
Starting point is 00:15:03 with one simple question five years ago she changed my life our first meeting she asked me do you know Jesus Christ thankfully today my answer is yes thank you Ms. Janet thank you and thank you to the textor
Starting point is 00:15:18 being able to just have that in your heart is a powerful good thing so bravo to that um scott and lincoln says a very important thing i always take the time to remember and pray for all my battle buddies who were deployed overseas during the holiday yep for those in service in full who sacrifice and make time away from family and loved ones to to do the honorable thing to be protective of us to be in service of us home and abroad away from from family yeah they're our family too and we need to be thankful for them um yeah irk well done happy thanksgiving he says i'm thankful for the 10 pounds of buttery mashed
Starting point is 00:16:10 potatoes i'll be making later today i'm thankful for him too just the idea of it just made my my stomach smile 10 pounds hey man hey man that means he's sharing a lot of love that's 10 pounds love that's going to have this is going to be so happy people at erics in erics place right wherever he's enjoying thanksgiving yeah he those people are going to be happy buttery mashed 10 pounds worth that's a lot of happy people a lot of butter he's going to have to get too yeah yeah oh say that uh railroad of mat says this i'm thankful for my daughter who has helped me grow as a father and help make me a better human in that how that works Isn't that how that work that the young ones make us better?
Starting point is 00:16:56 That really is the legacy bigger than ourselves beyond ourselves. Is that the young people, my daughter has taught me so much. My grandson teaches me constantly. And I'm grateful for it. I'm grateful for it. Mississippi Mud Dogs says, I'm thankful and grateful for so much. sometimes it's easy to get so dialed in on the details of the day that, from day to day that you take things for granted.
Starting point is 00:17:24 This is the time of year to be reflective for sure. Lots to be thankful for them. Mississippi, my dog, we're thankful for you. We're appreciative of you. We're constantly adding to the conversations in the space. And again, if you have somebody that you want to, you want to shout out, please do. Please do.
Starting point is 00:17:44 Because the small things matter. the small things matter and having somebody know that they're seen, heard, thought of, cared about, love. We need, we all need that. And we get caught up in the minutia and we forget to just pause. Look at those beautifully kids outside. It's cold. It's so cold and they're having the time of their lives. We're supposed to get snow Saturday, by the way.
Starting point is 00:18:16 Texas is this. Deep be thankful for the ticket. Happy Thanksgiving to you guys And thankful for my family For the past and present For everything you do for us Happy Thanksgiving everybody Happy Thanksgiving to you
Starting point is 00:18:27 It is In the end When we can put down the stuff Right The stuff And it's the things that we occupy ourselves with Just to have something to do Or something to feel
Starting point is 00:18:45 But choosing to feel positive is the skill. It's a wonderful talent to just go, you know what, I'm going to feel good today. I'm going to love today. I'm going to be considered today. I'm going to be kind today. I'm going to be generous today. I sent full Thanksgiving meals to the rescue crew in the Woodlands, Texas. normally I do it in the summer but for whatever reason this year I felt like here's the thing there's a group of first responders
Starting point is 00:19:24 who when I was being attacked by blood clots and couldn't breathe and a saddle embolism those people like superheroes man put capes on showed up at my house got there in six minutes got me to the hospital got me intubated and the whole
Starting point is 00:19:41 Chabang got me back to the hospital in eight minutes seven-minute drive back to the hospital to save my life. And once a year, sometimes twice a year, I will send them a meal just to say thank you. So they got their delivery this morning. That's how grateful I was, is that in that house, you know, they'll get three turkeys, two hams.
Starting point is 00:20:07 You talk about 10 pounds of mashed potatoes. They got five. They got five. full course meal four different kinds of pies with just a simple note not only thank you from me and my family because they helped keep me here
Starting point is 00:20:25 I wouldn't be here without them but thank you to all the families who they rescue who they serve Bach think about that how many people the EMTs of Lincoln rescue like the back
Starting point is 00:20:42 signal goes up and here comes these superheroes charging to wherever you are to whatever state you're in whatever condition you're in to get you the help that you need the exact help that you need and the only ones that can do it so to the firehouse in the woodlands thank you i sent pies to coaching staff in fairfax virginia um because I know how hard they were, and they shared it with all the teachers. They turned those pies into 48 slices, Bach, the 48 teachers had a smile this morning. Actually, yesterday, but I got to thank you this morning.
Starting point is 00:21:33 Just take a moment today and say thank you for the things that you're actually thankful about and to the people. Derek in the car, it was a pleasure hugging on you this morning. He says, I'm thankful for the Ticket family who does so much for our community. I'm thankful for everything.
Starting point is 00:21:52 Don't know where I have to begin, but let's think about those who by no fault of their own need our support. And that is a great heart speaking outlaw. Derek in the car, thank you, kind of, sir. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Texer says this, I'm thankful that as I approach age 60,
Starting point is 00:22:11 I have both my parents still living in my childhood home back in North Platte. Love you, Mom and Dad. Also thankful for Luke at the Mill. Hooked me up with my iced black tea every time I stop in. And thank you for stopping in and being a part of what we do. Thank you, thank you, thank you. And yes, you're right. You are blessed to have Mom and Dad still around.
Starting point is 00:22:34 Send them a note. Send them a text. Make a phone call. Yeah, I have a wish list today. It is that you, if you can call your parents, that you do. Just call and say, love you. Just call and say thank you. If you can.
Starting point is 00:22:58 And if you don't, if you don't want, let me, send me their number, I'll call them and say thank you. Because again, I would love to be able to call my mom. My dad, I would love to. if you can't shoot them a text if you if you're proud of your your sons and daughters send them a text don't call them they're not going to answer they're not going to answer text them because you're thankful for them as much of a pain in the butt that they can be say thank you say i love you do that do that do that uh textor says this i'm going to pick up my son flying in from Virginia,
