Starting point is 00:00:00 Back to one-on-one with D.P. Sponsored by the Downtown Lincoln Foundation on 93-7 the ticket. Oh, my goodness. Paint your face. Oh, bump up your muscles. Go screaming through your office. Grab your neighbor's desk, your co-worker's desk. Shake it.
Starting point is 00:00:24 Shake it like a maniac. Let them feel the power. power. W-A-R-Y-E-R. We're sending the power in the spirit of the warrior to Columbus, Ohio, with Coach Domagro and the women's tennis team. May they unleash the power of the Husker power of the ultimate warrior in them and have the best week of tennis that they've had all year? That's what we wish for you.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Thank you. I wish the same. I wish the same. I know we'll bring it. Our team will be ready. I'm excited for it. think they're excited to. And let's see what we got. You know, I think it's just a good test.
Starting point is 00:01:17 Yeah, it's an opportunity. And this is why people come to school here. It's the opportunity to better and be a part of the thing that changes the culture and changes the program from a barely known to a very well-known program. And congratulations on getting them there and getting them in the space and the weeks of ranks and otherwise, listen, kudos to be able to do. that. We spend so much time talking about stadiums and otherwise, but I think the big part of, like when recruits are here, they want to see the living situation. They want to see the meal
Starting point is 00:01:55 table, right? They want to see that. They want to see the rehab centers, the ice pools. I get that, right? They want to know about the neighborhoods and the cultures and the restaurants and the things that are there. How much does that play? Because again, your players spend more time in those spaces than they do playing live tennis matches. Yeah, no, absolutely. I think it's, yeah, we have great spaces for them, for those situations, you know, whether they live here downtown or, you know, the dorms when you're a freshman, and then what they spend most of the time, which is the training table, the academic center,
Starting point is 00:02:30 and then the tennis center, you know, I think I couldn't imagine a better setup, you know, for most student athletes, you know, that they're surrounded. by great people, by a really good space, a space where, you know, they can get the work done, but I also feel like they're connected with all the athletes, you know, and the training table or academic center and their own team. And then our own space at the tennis center, you know, where we spend a lot of time there, you know, practicing and matches, you know, I think it's a great space. And I think they're lucky, you know, that they get to experience it.
Starting point is 00:03:04 And then we're very fortunate to have that for our athletes. Coach, again, thank you for. for making time for adjusting your schedule and coming on and sharing this week. Good luck in Columbus, Ohio. Thank you. Thank you guys for all your support. And hopefully we'll compete hard. So hopefully we'll get a good week there.
Starting point is 00:03:23 Go get the first dub. That's all there is. Yeah. Get the first up. Take it a much of the time. There we go. All right. Thank you guys.
Starting point is 00:03:31 Armando Magro, Husker, tennis. Don't go anywhere. The big guy will come in, shake the walls. Adam Caraker. Up next on 937, the ticket. You know,
