Yeah, and the one I'm trying to go for is I'm going to try to slice some of those rifts together. Yeah, yeah. And that's the goal here. Because if you got like 40, 50, but I think if we get one that's like two minutes, I'd be. Yeah, just let it play, man.

Just, you know, open up the first two minutes of the show. Just let it play. bang on the back end of it. Let it play. The Big Ten announced the outstanding sportsmanship award winners. 36 honorees named the Big Ten. The winners for the 25, 25, 26 seasons, academic season. Each member, one member of each varsity sports team on every campus was chosen for his or her institution as a sportsmanship award honoree. This window is distracted.

We never know what. That's the thing. All of the sportsmanship awards have distinguished themselves to sportsmanship and ethical behavior. In addition, these honorees must be in good academic standing and must have demonstrated good citizenship outside of the sports competition. Setting the 2026 Big Ten outstanding sportsmanship award winners for Nebraska. First would be rink mask of basketball.

And second would be Colin Hake of women's basketball. Those are the two Nebraska Honorys. You were not limited to just basketball. It could be any sport. You know, some folks Kerry Baum from volleyball, Illinois, Johannes from

Illinois baseball, Jacob Moran from Indiana wrestling. So it could have been any sport, but for Nebraska, rink bass and Colin Hake, being the two honorees. So congratulations to them along the way. Yeah, here's the thing.

This is what tends to happen. Stark and Bennett says this. I played my first basketball game in junior high at Victoria, Kansas, where we were the away team on a carpet basketball court back in 1994 wearing a VIA white with white stripes, high top shoes. Pretty sure mom got them from pay less. Yes, we were poor, but damn, those shoes were embarrassing. I was a poor kid.

I was poor, poor, poor kid. but I worked so that I could buy shoes and spikes and cleats. My paper route, I needed a couple pair of jeans and I bought them throughout the year, right? So once a month for the six months of school, seven months of school, I would buy a pair of jeans, which was, I want to say 20 bucks, 30 bucks made it back there. I would buy a pair of tennis shoes every other month. And then every other month to that, I would buy like the seasonal. So in the fall, three months of the fall, I'd buy football cleats.

Basketball, I'd buy a pair for me to wear and then a pair of practice in and a pair of game shoes. What was like a good pair of shoes back then? Again, I want to say converse was $29. Okay. Like, I want to say that the leather, the leathers were 40, 40 bucks, maybe. But, I mean, that's still reasonable. Right. Well, it was a lot back day.

Yeah, it was a lot because, I mean, paper, paperouts, I think I was making two, two bucks an hour. Okay. I was making two bucks a year. I know like, if you want a really nice pair, it's like $100 to $140. She's today. They are crazy expensive. No, it was, I mean, relative to what it was then.

Still expensive. It was still, it was a big deal. And being the poor black kid going to a predominantly white school where most of the people were fluent, I needed something that gave me a little feeling. of my goodness, you know, this isn't terrible. Right. And it was not, I was not going to take the basketball court to the football field, uh, feeling less than.

There was too much weight on my shoulders. I was trying to do, do me with that. So there it is. Uh, Cariker's in? Yep, we should have character in today. So up next here on the ticket, Adam Carrier. And again, thanks to Adam Carrecker for the camp day put on and the great work that was done. Shout out to him and his family.

Angie, of course, running, really running things behind the scenes. His daughters were there and active and wonderful. And yes, young ladies were a part of the camp. Good amount of them were.
