Indeed. Yes, Baylor Legacy. So his dad played there. He is from Texas initially and originally. So DJ Lagway is home. Curious to see if they roll out the red slash green carpet for him. Interesting landing spot, kind of the swing that it feels like Dave Oranda needs to take it, Baylor right now.

Not exactly a world-beating tenure for Dave Oran. down there in Waco. I mean, he's only been a head coach now for six seasons. He's a perfectly mediocre 36 and 37. Made three bowl games. I mean, high water mark of 12 and 2 back in 2021 with a Sugar Bowl win. Got as high as number nine in the AP poll in 2020,

dropped to six and seven. That's three and nine, eight and five with a bowl loss and then five and seven from there. So not the worst, but not really inspiring much of any. thing. No, and it's weird. He won with Matt Rule's talent, dang it. Right. That's what's the weird thing about is, I don't know, does it reflect it all on Matt Rule and being able to win at Baylor? I mean, I don't think it matters at this point. Nebraska's obviously, firmly where they are,

I suppose, with, with Matt Rule. But it was, it's been kind of an interesting run. I was very excited for Dave Irana when he got there. I appreciated, wouldn't say as a fan of his defenses at Wisconsin, but appreciated how how good he was. And then at LSU. And so I thought I have I thought it was the next big thing. That's why I'm not an athletic director. Well, I mean, Dave Oranda was the next big thing. Luke Fickle was the next big thing. Don't forget we had a Will Mustchamp as the next big thing there for a moment.

Will Must champ's career is incredible. I think he's, is any back at Texas where he's once the head coach and waiting? Yes. Very interesting. Very interesting. I never understood the South Carolina hire him of him after he did not win at Florida in the same division. Not even same conference.
