Starting point is 00:00:05 Welcome back. I need to, Doc, what are your, let me ask you, what, what, what's your, what's your feeling on Drew McIntyre?
Starting point is 00:00:22 Oh, I absolutely love it. He's, he's, he's among my favorite heels, as you know, I'm a big heel guy. I think he's great
Starting point is 00:00:28 in the ring. I think he's great acting. I think he's, I think sometimes his booking is what has been holding him back because he looks like the biggest threat
Starting point is 00:00:36 and then they don't quite pay through with it, but he finally gets, gets the win. We'll just hope they don't go to the go to the go to the goonther out and have him start kicking.
Starting point is 00:00:42 and everybody below the belt. Bach, I'm going to say that you are in the smallest third. Is that right? Of people I know. I think there's like two people. One last name McIntyre and one named Bacchevern. Who support and applaud the crowning of the title to Drew McIntyre. That's a heels life, though.
Starting point is 00:01:10 You're never going to get the majority of the crowd in home. Hey, say, say what you say. Say what you say, man. I understand how you feel, Bob. But it falls in line. I've been around too many dudes. You just go, wow, this is like giving the title to the ninth best character. Really not that important.
Starting point is 00:01:36 It's just like, what do we do? I'm just a little bit over Cody, good guy, Cody, kind of getting into super Cody type of position. and it kind of gets boring when the good guy always wins. I get it. That's what the kids want to see. Draws tickets, man. I know. Again, I get it, but it's not the most interesting.
Starting point is 00:01:54 So you're telling me that if there's two buildings and the main event in one building features Cody Rhodes. And the building next to it has Drew McIntyre, that you think that the Cody Road, the Drew McIntyre building will be more full? No, I don't think so. But I would be in that. It would be you and all of the McIntyre.
Starting point is 00:02:17 That would be it. But the good, it's much harder to be an interesting good guy than an interesting bad guy in my plan. Because like the good guys are like, it's just smile and do good guy things and hug each other. Like there's not much story to it. The bad guy usually has got a reason why he turned to a bad guy.
Starting point is 00:02:34 And McIntyre, I think does an especially good job of kind of like you can kind of see why he's mad all the time. He always gets, he's kind of getting thrown off in these. I understand that hurt people, hurt people. Bok, are you okay? Are you okay that you want people in pain? No, you understand that there's a crux in the road,
Starting point is 00:02:53 that there's talent required to be either a villain, a super villain or a superhero, right? You meet the Forkin Road. The villain works from pain and fear, and the superhero wants to rescue, raise, give hope, etc. You would rather not have hope, and you would rather fully embrace pain.
Starting point is 00:03:11 Like, in my own life, I want all good stuff. stuff. As far as watching a story, yeah. You just don't want anybody else happy in the building. As far as the story, I think it's a lot more interesting if there's more adversity to overcome. No, the adversity is required. A villain is always required. Like, it just makes her a better story. If it's just a story of success, but Cody had, had to go through restriction.
Starting point is 00:03:35 Like, it was written well. And there was some truth to it. So we understood his father's story and his older, his older brother's story and his mom's story. understood that, which is how he became, you know, he had to go through the struggles, right? Because he was booed out of the building as when he first came into the space. He wasn't good enough. He wasn't good enough. So what did he do?
Starting point is 00:03:57 He went back to the lab and got better. He worked hard, changed his body, changed his persona, changed his story, and then, wow, we could root for him. I find Drew McIntyre tired to be disinterested. I'm not interested literally you could remove him from the show and I wouldn't miss him. This does not surprise me because my other top favorites in the company are Argoonther and Don Mysterio. I'm not surprised by you at all. We are opposite wrestling. We're both wrestling fans, but we're opposite wrestling fans.
Starting point is 00:04:27 Listen, Dom Mysterio could walk into the ticket right now and get beat by everybody on staff. Everybody on staff. There's not one person who works in the ticket, including Gracie, who couldn't beat Dom Mysterio in a fight. So I'm not going to buy into Dom Mysterio being a tough guy. I'm just not going to do it. I'm not going to do it. And Gunter, listen, Gunter is a bagel.
Starting point is 00:04:58 He's a bagel. I understand why a bagel exists. I understand that people who love bagels. But bagels are basic. Gunter, basic. He's got three movements. lose. Three. But at least both like Drew and to your point about Dom at least, at least Drew in Gunther
Starting point is 00:05:20 looked like they could chuck you out a window. Well, Gunther at least would put me on edge that, you know, I'm going to have to fight this guy. Yeah. Like, I'm, Dom gets into the fight. I'm, I'm just going to smush Dom by the face. Like, it is my full hand across his face. Like, just smush. And I would, and my rule, and you know my rule of, of radio.
Starting point is 00:05:41 I would not say a thing about a person on the radio that if they weren't sitting in this chair next to me, I wouldn't say the same thing. And if Dom was sitting in this chair, hey, bro, no. Because if his last thing wasn't Mysterio, we wouldn't care. But his dad wasn't particularly physically daunting. His father was gifted, talented, talented, talented. It still is for being able to do it at his age. He's talented. He goes through it. What does Dom do well? Piss off the crowd.
Starting point is 00:06:19 And that's what I like. Thomas and Lincoln, I've told the story. I took a chop from, I took two chops from Rick Flair. I'll never do it again. Never do it again. Say his name, 9597. Say his name. I have finally been convinced that Joe Henry is of value. Have you see that's where Again, the disconnect. I don't I don't get it. No, he looks like my neighbor's son Like
Starting point is 00:06:51 if Joe Hendry showed up and and was mowing my lawn, I wouldn't be surprised. I wouldn't look twice. Right, wouldn't be surprised enough. I saw him in the grocery store I wouldn't even know he was Joe Hendry. Right? It was like, oh! Until the music played and people
Starting point is 00:07:07 started clapping. I wouldn't know. But Giant Chop I still die on this hill that Chief Wahoo McDaniel had the greatest chops in wrestling history. He had the most massive, meaty hands that when you shook his hand, you felt like you were being asked to submit.
Starting point is 00:07:31 Just thick, raw, like he was just, and you realized that this guy was a lineman in the NFL. And you went, okay, yeah. this is a thing. So, yeah, that's, I would say, you know, through all of that. Ryan, that's awesome. Right. But can you share that with, right? So people understand what we're talking about with Joe Henry. You know, like if it was there. I understand he wants, Thomas wants to take a chop from Big Show. Do you have all of your life things in order, Thomas? Does your wife know what to do with the with the body?
Starting point is 00:08:14 How do you? You don't want, I don't think people understand the massiveness of a big show. That is a large individual human being. That, Bach, he is just, I mean, I watched him hold a picture of beer like we hold a mug of beer. It was a pitcher. They didn't even give him a glass.
Starting point is 00:08:35 There's no point. He was just pitcher. He was picture and pitcher. Um, railroad of Matt, I, I don't disagree with you. He says, Bach only likes Dom because he has a crush on Liv Morgan. Bach, what say you? I allow you to address that. I like Dom because I have a crush on Ria Ripley.
Starting point is 00:08:52 That's where it started. Lives, lives good. Lips really great. Don't give you wrong. But I think Ria. I'm not wrong. I'm not mad at that, Bach. I'm not mad at that.
Starting point is 00:09:02 I think Ria might be the best, among the best anyway, female wrestlers we have today. I know you're Tony Storm guy. that's why I had to adjust it. Yeah. But see, this is this, I look forward to the day. Bach,
Starting point is 00:09:20 you ready for this? Go with me here. That at a WrestleMania in our near future, that it would be Ria Ripley versus Tony Storm. Yeah. Am I wrong?
Starting point is 00:09:33 I think that could, that would definitely sell some tickets. Am I wrong in that I, we deserve that? Yeah. We deserve it. Okay. I just want to say,
Starting point is 00:09:42 Yeah, Mandy Rose, Thomas, you see, this is how Thomas and I are. This is how we know we're in Spatigow. He said Mandy Rose is, listen, Mandy Rose, Pete Mandy Rose. We hadn't seen anything like it. Mandy Rose was so great, we didn't know what to do with it. Think about it. It's the WWV. They didn't know what to do with Tony Storm and Mandy Rose.
Starting point is 00:10:08 That's what's wrong with the WWE that you can't identify Mandy Rose. Folks, for the record, Google Mandy Rose. Pretty, pretty much. Bill, Bill, I'll ask, he has a couple of questions. I'm answering both real quick before we go to break. He goes, was Drew and Preston Pearson related? No. And neither was I.
Starting point is 00:10:29 But I wore both their numbers in high school for, right? I played running back in Flanker. And when I moved, I wore because I could have the Pearson name with those numbers. No. 26 and 88. and our school colors were cowboy colors. As a matter of fact, our uniforms were copied off the cowboys. But he also says, wasn't Paul Orndorff known as having Hands of Stone?
Starting point is 00:10:53 No, he was, Orndorff was known as being stiff. He did not understand. People said that Orndor didn't, you had to watch Orndorff with the idea that Orndorff, Orndorff, Chris Benoit, and now, vision. Like Braun Breaker. When you watch those three on film, watch them as though they don't know
Starting point is 00:11:22 that it's scripted. Watch them as though they don't know it's fake. And then have a ball. Paul Oendorf wrestled like he really thought I need to punch you. Pretty cool stuff. We'll do a break. We'll close out one and once. That's you up for a character card or Friday.
