Starting point is 00:00:00 Hello, welcome to the spoiler cast for exit 8. Ellis, I think we got a new game to play. Honestly, I was thinking that. We were talking about how, like, we don't have a wrong show. Well, we were talking about we don't have a stream. You're not Gavin? I bet we could beat that game in under the length of the movie. 95 minutes?
Starting point is 00:00:20 I was going to cut it in half even. Yeah, it's like 42. And if we play that game, depending on what time it is, I'm going to not even fall asleep. Man, well, oh, does you be seen? Yeah, okay. Just for a seven. Oh, yeah, I know. I was keeping Michael on them.
Starting point is 00:00:35 He got me. Yeah, I had a mom. I don't sleep enough, dude. Well, we know. We know that. It's like, moving. I'm like, all right. You can wait to watch this action-pack movie.
Starting point is 00:00:45 I was walking around this corridor. I told Eric when I was coming out of the bathroom. I was half expecting to step into another bathroom. And then I was like, well, Eric was at the urinal when I left. Okay. I'd be there when I get to the next one. Well, I know. I don't know.
Starting point is 00:00:58 this was part of Exit 8, but Eric walked out and said, how are both of my shoes on top? I don't know how both of my shoes on tight. That was pretty funny. How did that happen? I don't understand. Somebody was scurring on the ground. Maybe it was the ear rats.
Starting point is 00:01:13 Might have been the kid. That. The eye rats? We was mouth rat. We walked out and I think Jordan said that perfectly encapsulates how it feels watching. To watch somebody play a video game. Play a video game like not the right way.
Starting point is 00:01:29 Or it's like, what are you doing? Why did you do that? If I could, if we had the theater to ourselves, the amount of- Yeah. What? Turn around now. You guys would have been yelling,
Starting point is 00:01:39 I would have 95 minutes of sleep. I was doing my best not to yell. I could see Nick in the corner of my eye going, oh, every time it was a guy, I was like, turn around, turn around. It was. I had no problem containing my stuff. No, it was so irritating. Just pay attention.
Starting point is 00:01:57 The anomaly stuff happened. these people are like, hmm, an anomaly. We should investigate. Right. What? A door opened? Let's look in the door. No.
Starting point is 00:02:05 Oh my God. The pacing in that movie is terrible. Yeah, it was pretty rough. That is abysmal pacing. But it has flashes of stuff that I go, oh, this is pretty cool. Yeah, some pretty cool stuff. When it changes over and starts following the walking man. Yeah, that was so cool.
Starting point is 00:02:21 Yeah. Oh, this is so interesting. And then when it ties back around. Yeah. But then when I went to the boy, I don't care about it. Boy, then it really, they just went, okay, now back to the stuff that's important. Figuring out if there's any of these anomalies. Oh, right.
Starting point is 00:02:35 The anomalies or, uh, that was the only thing, too. Or does he want to have a kid or not? Like how they kept playing up, like they'd reset it five? Yeah. And like, ah! I'm really like, how long could that take? Right? It would take five minutes?
Starting point is 00:02:47 Yeah, less than 95 minutes. I mean, I'm just saying, even, even if you reset a bunch, like, it's just eight, man. Like the world record. You're not trying to get the floor 100 on Dandy's world. The world record speed run on this is like a minute and a half, you know? I'd be happy with not a world record. They were so easily distracted. Yeah, it was very frustrating.
Starting point is 00:03:08 They didn't listen to the kid even though he didn't talk. And also, why didn't he talk? But then he did talk. But then he revealed he could talk all along. Yeah, and then he just decided, I talk now, actually. It's really because of that kid that guy is gone. Yeah, it's all the kids' fault that walking man exists. But also, how is the kid?
Starting point is 00:03:26 not an anomaly. I don't know. It should have reset every time I went with the kids. Yes. I thought that they were going to play into that. The magic seashell. Yeah, the Seychelle that he got from the past future. I was happy. Yeah, the Future Pass Beach. I was worried about the Future Pass Beach
Starting point is 00:03:41 seashell being an anomaly. I, well, it was for sure. I don't know what it would be like. That was some dune shit. If you had played that game and then saw that movie, do you think you're getting more out of it or do you think you're like twice as mad? I'm not entirely sure.
Starting point is 00:03:55 It made me want to play the game. game. Yeah, and find out. Oh, then I think that did its job, right? I think that's all that's what this was for. Is this an advertisement? Yeah. Does advertising work? Oh, shit. Put it on a billboard just. Fucking did, bitch. Shit. Wow. Yeah, there's the part where the kid shows up
Starting point is 00:04:12 and they turn the hallway and they see the guy's girlfriend. Yep. And the kid goes, Mommy, mommy. Yeah. And then she goes, have you decided? Which is it? And I look over at Nick and go, wasn't expecting this movie to be so preaching. It was, it really is just saying,
Starting point is 00:04:30 are you gonna, are you gonna keep it or not metaphor? Yeah, I kept trying to motion heavy hand into Jordan. Yeah, it's a hard-in-heavy hand- Yeah, yeah, he kept doing this. Yeah. That's how you avoid, oh yeah, the whole thing entirely. Man, never be in that position. I am glad that he used the power of exit eight
Starting point is 00:04:53 to overcome his asthma as well. I thought that was pretty big of him. Yeah. He got over all his problems. It took him a little too long to decide what to do at the very end. Took him a really long time. That camera's just holding on his ass. It was like inception where it was like, oh, is it just open to us?
Starting point is 00:05:08 And he finally turns. I thought that's what it was going to be. And I was going to be like, that's unsatisfying. And then he turned and I was probably more unsatisfying. I think he turned and he helped the guy. Yeah. He was starting yelling, shut the fuck up. Shut that kid up.
Starting point is 00:05:22 We're all pissed. We're all pissed. He's right. You're the mother. They're telling to be quiet. Baga! Listen to this man! And then the movie starts over again.
Starting point is 00:05:40 Dude, if I had to hear that sound again of like every time they go in the hallway. I told Eric early on, it was pissing me off every time the phone call sound effect would come on. Because I'm like, we're in the movie theater and I still don't want to hear it. I don't like it. He's wearing headphones, and he can't.
Starting point is 00:05:56 keeps getting this phone call. It's just the iPhone. It happens like two or three times, but it's dead silent, and it makes that sound, and it just makes it just like, oh, fuck, oh, fuck. I kept checking my phone. Yeah, so visceral. I kept checking my phone.
Starting point is 00:06:09 My, like, my hair was like, I was like a dog. It made the baby crying noises extra loud. When he takes out the headphone and suddenly, it's like way too loud. They blasted some audio a little bit. Yeah. Yeah. They had to do something.
Starting point is 00:06:26 I don't know that it was interesting but yeah I mean I'll give them credit it it was just paced so slow and I I don't know if that's like a Eastern storytelling kind of thing like really like taking the scenery Japanese style anime stuff yeah I don't think so I think maybe they just didn't have enough to fill out a whole movie I didn't need to be 95 I did think 80 75 to 85 would I did think about 10 minutes in I went probably didn't cost too much to make this no probably not. All the visual money
Starting point is 00:06:55 went to rats and water. And some of the stuff they did with like you know, the kind of seamless payings and stuff to like keep it. A continuous shot. A lot of it's like a one. And the
Starting point is 00:07:10 guy when he's just like smiling, like he's clearly not the guy but like he looks so realistic. Yeah. It's that it was pretty convincing. It was like again, it had moments where I went, oh, I'm like on board for this. Like when it follows the walking man, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:07:26 oh, shit, and then there's like this girl and you're like, oh, what the fuck's this? And then they just go, fuck that. Well, it was actually pretty funny when like the girl shows up and then she like is like a demon. Yes. And then like he's walking down the next hallway and it's like a poster, poster.
Starting point is 00:07:40 Monster. I thought that was great. And I thought that we were going to get her story or some kind of tie-in. Well, that guy had a lot together. I think it was a lot more of interesting character than the main character. Oh, the main character, They hinted at his backstory.
Starting point is 00:07:55 You're like, I want to know more about this guy. What's he guilty about? The girl is there to make you wonder, like, similar to the walking man, like, what did she go through to end up where the walking man is now? Uh-huh. And then they just don't. Well, you know, you can't tell all the stories. You could.
Starting point is 00:08:12 I mean, you could have. Here's the thing, Jordan. I think you've got knocked off 30 minutes from this and told all the stories. How many do you go with that point? We've seen them fuck up the anomaly thing a couple of times already. Let's keep going. How many times do we have? to see that. This really made me wary of, and we saw the trailer before it, of the backrooms,
Starting point is 00:08:29 which I'm a really big fan of that guy made that whole YouTube series on the backrooms. He's got Kane Pixel. And I'm a really big fan. I think it's so cool, like visually it's super interesting. I think it's just like a really cool sort of following what's happening in the backrooms and you don't know and it's very like, what's around this corner. And then watching this movie, maybe go, uh-oh, uh, I don't know if I'm going to if I'm so hyped. for the back rooms now? Because this was thin. We got to the haunted hotel in Ireland
Starting point is 00:08:58 with Adam Scott trailer. I looked over at Nick and was like, there's like two types of horror movies. I just don't think it's a genre for me. No, it's definitely not for me. It's also like, it was ridiculous because they just gave up on ideas and it's just ping pong balls cut in half
Starting point is 00:09:14 on the eyes in that movie. Whatever Irish hotel, the scary haunted house one is, it's just show someone. show someone, show someone. Dump's care. Big face? Yeah, big face in TV. Clown face.
Starting point is 00:09:30 Horns. Yeah. Or furry. Yeah, and it was like, well, uh, cat ear. And then we go, bang. I did think. The plangs are too much.
Starting point is 00:09:39 Yeah, too many. That's all, that's all it is anymore. Mammies are coming back, though. I don't understand what the point of that movie is. Yeah, I'm making the mummy. Really? Yeah, this girl is captured and stuffed. How did they find our daughter in a 3,000-year-old sarcophagus? What the fuck are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:09:54 I looked out where and Eric was like gritland of dialogue. That's fucking. What? Also, they're like, oh, how long was she missing? Seven years. What the fuck? Everything about this was very confusing. I told Nick after that trailer.
Starting point is 00:10:07 I was like, I like Tom Cruise is better. And then he was like, I like the trailer. It was just him screaming. I missed the mummy trailer because I was trying to get the discount. Oh, yeah. Oh, you were trying to find a senior person that were going to be out of drug. No one works there anymore. God damn it, Tony.
Starting point is 00:10:23 were pushing the button that said need help and nobody was there. I was just fucking standing there. You need to post that picture. Oh, you really sure. That's when I went. I swear to guy, once I get back inside, I'm going to sleep. And you did. Not long enough.
Starting point is 00:10:36 You got your micro-winks. I was micro, dude. Somehow I've never fallen asleep in a movie before and didn't miss any of the movie. It's true. I was also thinking, like, Michael was be like, was I out for a long time or like two seconds? No, I wasn't. I knew. Wake me up when he's on level seven.
Starting point is 00:10:54 Fuck this. Well, you see it for a minute. Dude, it's so... He didn't even do level seven. No, yeah, level seven just... It's so... You went water, seashell free. I thought for sure it was going to be
Starting point is 00:11:05 first person POV the whole time. Oh, me too. The beginning. The whole beginning is this first person POV and I just went... Finally it cuts to me. I've seen Doom. Oh, man.
Starting point is 00:11:14 Hardcore Henry asses. Yeah, exactly. It definitely was a good idea to not do that. Yep. Like, once it cut, I was kind of like, thank God. I hadn't seen the gameplay at all, so I had a moment of fear where they kept counting down.
Starting point is 00:11:28 It was like they're on five. They're like three to go. I was like, but what if eight is a secret anonymous level? I had that thought too, where it's like it's the hardest one. You're right, yeah. Not have it seemed that hard. Hey, guys, the doorknobs in the middle of the door. That's an anomaly.
Starting point is 00:11:42 The kid's looking right at it. The hardest one was upside down eight, I think. Upside down eight was tricky. But also, that fool never looked at the back of the... It was driving me crazy. Yeah. Yeah. Everything's directly in front of me and that's it.
Starting point is 00:11:54 There's the crater. Oh yeah. Come to RTS. This hole in the ground. Come to the hole in the ground. Dude, hey, they want to shoot Reson 119, Rackland City right there. There could be all wow. Who wants to ride up a building on a motorcycle?
Starting point is 00:12:12 I wonder if, because I don't know that there were a lot of people clamoring for like exit 8. And I'm wondering if this was just a studio going, grab whatever property you can, this thing. Something's popular right now. People are saying video game movies are big right now, you know? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a fine movie for what it's based off. I think if I was much younger, I would enjoy that movie a lot more.
Starting point is 00:12:37 I think so. But I'm not, and so it got really heavy-handed. You are much much, much. I feel like my time is much more limited. Yeah. 95 minutes. I was really thrilled to see that it was 95 minutes. And then about 45 minutes in, I just went, whoa.
Starting point is 00:12:53 Same. I started lying on my watch. Same. I went, oh, it's only 95. Yep. And then I went, God, damn, should have been 80. It's a long 95. It's, yeah.
Starting point is 00:13:02 It's just not past while. You get, I think it's the, you're frustrated watching this guy somehow not understand the thing that you understood in minute 20. Well, but also. It's like, Madden web, like, she's halfway through the movie. She doesn't figure out with her powers. But not.
Starting point is 00:13:19 But not even. It's worse than that because he understood immediately. He just kept fucking it up. He kept fucking it up. It would have annoyed me less if he didn't get it. But he's like, oh, boom. Turn around. And then left his inhaler behind and never had another one.
Starting point is 00:13:33 Right. Well, again, he overcame asthma. That bothered me too. The thing I thought was like really crazy is how they tried to rush through every single one to be like, okay, push, post, puser, man. Push, poster, door, door. Got it. Go, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. And it's like, oh, that was a cursory glance at best.
Starting point is 00:13:51 At best. It's just a time. Right. Yeah. It's crazy. It's not that many. It's crazy. And then you could snail your way through that.
Starting point is 00:14:01 Right. He never ever, like, looked beyond surface level until one time he's like, this poster's different. And he was wrong. It wasn't. Yeah. Yeah. And also, they didn't spend any time on it after. No.
Starting point is 00:14:13 No. They didn't go, his mind is playing tricks on him. They just went, look. I guess it wasn't. Oh, thank God for this kid. Well, I thought when the kid came in, I was like, ah, the new thread has entered the game, his own subconscious.
Starting point is 00:14:25 And then they're like, no, it's a real kid. No, it's his feature. Yeah, but it's not a real kid. Oh, right, it's his features. It's his past feature son. He's still a little off. Him checking the poster, and he's like, this changed of being wrong,
Starting point is 00:14:35 that was someone in the Twitch chat telling him. Yeah, he got one guy. Absolutely. One guy was like, that Josh was different. Don't do it. Yeah, that was different. And he turned around, he went,
Starting point is 00:14:44 oh, I could have sworn it was. Yeah. Sorry. Dude, that was shit. That got real. That's awesome. Local news is in decline across Canada, and this is bad news for all of us. With less local news, noise, rumors, and misinformation fill the void, and it gets harder to separate truth from fiction.
Starting point is 00:15:07 That's why CBC News is putting more journalists in more places across Canada, reporting on the ground from where you live, telling the stories that matter to all of us. Because local news is big news. Choose news, not noise. CBC News. Rosen lasagna, medium power, 15 minutes. Sounds like Ojo time. Let's play. Feel the fun with Play-O-Joe.
Starting point is 00:15:33 The online casino with all the latest slot and live casino games. What you win is yours to keep with no wagering requirements, instant payouts, and no minimum withdraws. Hey, I just won. Woo-hoo! Feel the fun. Play-O-Joe. Honey, forget about that.
Starting point is 00:15:48 the lasagna. Let's celebrate. 19 plus Ontario only. Please play responsibly. Concerned about your gambling or that of someone close to you. Call 1866-531-2600 or visit ConX Ontario.com. I thought it was funny to the when you start following the walking man. How he, his process of checking everything was like the reverse. He was much more specific on the right side with the doors and he started with the
Starting point is 00:16:06 doors on the right and then he just counted the number of those turning around though. Unlike him. He double checked. Right. But it also was damning then that he missed a doorknob in the middle of the door. What a fucking moron. He was just, he thought he was so close to the end. Well, he also, all the blood left his brain went to his dick when he saw that lady.
Starting point is 00:16:22 Oh, that is true. He was like, she didn't seem to tempt him from him. He didn't stay here and he was like, oh, yeah. He was like, absolute. And he yelled the classic not guilty thing of I'm not guilty, not guilty. Yeah, yeah, yeah. As he ran away. As he ran into hell.
Starting point is 00:16:39 Bailiff, I'm not guilty. As he ran into hell. I was like he's fighting. In this instance, hell was up. Hell was up. He was safe down in heaven. He ran out of the, Nick. That's a great point.
Starting point is 00:16:56 The other guy left going down into eight. Yeah, just saying. Damn, hell is up. Makes you wonder. This movie is good now. I don't want to. I had so much time to wonder. I'm not wondering.
Starting point is 00:17:11 You had an extra dream sequence of wonder. Yeah. Oh, it didn't. Okay. It was just black for a second. Yeah. I don't know. It was quiet there.
Starting point is 00:17:21 I don't know. How many times did I have to wait you up? I think it was twice. Okay, two times, yeah. There's one time where like you did like a little like sound and I was like, I should probably wake a bunch. Yeah, that was the right call. And then you did like a big snore and I had to wake you up again. The, uh, the rats?
Starting point is 00:17:37 I wish I felt the comfort of the sleep. I just like blinked and it was over. It was like, it was over. It's true, you were very clink. It was like your eyes closed and then you went, yeah, that's how much my body wanted me to sleep. Desperate for it. It was just like, strap in, this is gonna be a loud action-packed movie.
Starting point is 00:17:55 Nope, it was like, no, now's our chance. Damn, Jordan's here. My enemy! I just didn't want it to turn into me watching that Godzilla movie in the cinema or whatever where the guy was snoring, and it sounded like he was getting blown. getting blown. Coming back to sleep.
Starting point is 00:18:21 That was a movie theater of about eight people. At the dream. At first I thought it was in the movie. And then everyone clogged. Who's fucking snorting Godzilla here? It's that guy in the third row. Snoring. Fuck, dude.
Starting point is 00:18:38 Are you blowing Godzilla in this one? Off screen? Oh, man. Got to calm him down somehow. Mouthma? Yeah, Mouth. That's it. Wow.
Starting point is 00:18:50 Yeah. Call her in. Mouth, right. Why are there so many horror movies coming out between now and the end of May? I don't know. What's happening? Scary times. I just figure, like, since it's such a thing not on my radar, that these are always coming out?
Starting point is 00:19:05 No, I don't think so. And I just don't get these trailers because I'm not seeing horror movies? It's January for, like, the really bad. ones and then right around Halloween, like September, October for like the scary ones. And then occasionally it's like, here's one in April. Maybe there's one in like July. Every trailer was like from the producers of weapons. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:27 And then it was like, and none of them were Resident Evil. Yeah. Are they just all doing more movies now? And hey, it's coming out in two weeks. Yeah. There's one coming out on Friday. Yes. Which one was that one?
Starting point is 00:19:39 I think that was the mummy. Yeah. What? Yeah. Tom Cruise. Tom Cruise, he did it again. God damn he did it again. They're rebooting the dark universe already, but finally.
Starting point is 00:19:51 The little girls that here was. I wasn't there, but didn't look good? You know what? I think you're not talking about Brendan Fraser mummy. No. Damn it. I wish I was. Michael, I think it's going to be neck and neck,
Starting point is 00:20:02 but I think it might just lean a little bit on the bad side maybe. Okay. Yeah. Because I want to see the Brendan Fraser one. Oh, Disclosure Day was the other trailer. Oh, that's right. I've seen that trailer three times. I do not know what that movie's going to be able.
Starting point is 00:20:16 I feel like I've seen that trailer since, like, last year. Yeah. Like, it's been a full year of me seeing that trailer occasionally. Yeah. Yeah. Don't forget. Disclosure Day. It's coming.
Starting point is 00:20:27 Yeah. It still hasn't grabbed me. No, not at all. It doesn't really tell you what it's about. Yeah. It just shows you tabloes of things, and that's not what I'm looking for from Spielberg. It's not intriguing at all. I do like the part where the very big.
Starting point is 00:20:41 bad CJA car gets hit by the train. That was really simple. Well, where it's pushed into the train. Right, yeah. By the government agents, I assume. Trying to stop Josh O'Connor from disclosing. He can't do that. It was very bold of Exit 8 to use as much CG as it did.
Starting point is 00:21:01 Because, man, it was more than it should have. Here's people part rats. Yeah, I don't know what the point of that was. Does that happen in the game? I have to know. I have no idea. I prefer. little babies crawling around full speed you prefer that over the rats i think i would have been scared
Starting point is 00:21:16 oh yeah i was like i was like they're gonna be babies or like yeah yeah i just assumed it would be babies also i was picturing i was picturing the jett yeah i was a metaphor i was picturing the giant uh fetus creature from resonable village oh not like yeah it just sort of like didn't do that or anything and then it was like now there's water also oh waiting for anomalies here oh that's a really loud siren well i guess we should stick around and see what this is going to be. I wonder what that's going to be. Again, just watching someone who can't play the video game.
Starting point is 00:21:47 Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Watching someone just making it. Why did you stand there? I don't know. I incidentally did the loop thing. I was like, turn around. I watched Nick out of the corner of my eye.
Starting point is 00:21:59 I just, if you even think for a second that lava or water or something is going to pourin down a closed space. Yeah, but if he doesn't get swept away, he doesn't. doesn't have the flash forward flashback. It's true. He needed it. To the seashell. Wow. Good luck.
Starting point is 00:22:17 What if he just drowned instead? You get enough of those, you get upgraded sword if you're playing like to awaken. I think you need to get 30. Did everyone learn a Japanese word, by the way? I learned what the word for vent is. No, I just, I matched on to the ones I knew already. Yeah, I know, door.
Starting point is 00:22:33 Like when he said door? Yeah. I think the cosmetic surgery, I think, was Mayo Clinic. He kept saying Mayo Clinic. Locker is lockers. Walker. Yeah. Locker's locker.
Starting point is 00:22:43 Yeah. Yep. It's pretty good. I think Blanket was like war through and it was like, okay, cool. No one yelled Yata. Yeah. One guy that means I did it. I think Walking Man did.
Starting point is 00:22:54 Oh, wait. I heard him say. Yeah, he did. Yeah, he learned that on the Digimon PlayStation game. I learned that from heroes. Yachta. Yep. By the time, Jordan, by the time I got the heroes, I went, I know that one.
Starting point is 00:23:08 Oh, you already know. Oh, you already know. Oh, I also learned. on Versa. Yeah. From Heroes. Pretty cool. Pretty cool.
Starting point is 00:23:16 Pretty cool. Although, Heroes is when I finally understood that the Japanese name, Hero is Hiro, not Hero, yeah. I went, son of a bitch. Yeah. You mean Hiro Yu-I? Hiro Yu-I.
Starting point is 00:23:30 I'll kill you. Man. Why did Rilina love him so much? Because he'll kill her. I like a dangerous man. Yeah. So there's like one good season of that show. right? Yeah, it's season one.
Starting point is 00:23:42 The whole show. Of heroes or? Heroes. Oh, I thought you were talking about Gundams. I would say there's zero good seasons of Gundam. Gundam Wing! Gundam Wing was all right. Gunding. You know, I say that as I haven't rewatched it.
Starting point is 00:23:55 I haven't rewatched it. Yeah. That's a fair point. It's a little rough. It was good when I was, yeah. And it was sexy. Yeah. If Tyler Sab hears about this, he's going to be pissed. Okay, well.
Starting point is 00:24:06 Well, he won't. He's rotting in hell in New Jersey. He's hanging out with Big Ray, right. sent him back where he belongs. Dude, I can't imagine having to go back there. That's crazy. I'm sorry. That he went back willingly.
Starting point is 00:24:21 I'd like the weather more there, I think. Yeah, until it snows, Nick. I like snow. Not when you have to take care of it, dude. Not when it becomes a problem. I like snow when I can visit it and leave. Yeah, yeah. I lived in Nebraska for five years.
Starting point is 00:24:35 You lived in Nebraska for five years? When I was a kid. Yeah, it was one of his houses. Yeah. Okay. Oh. I will say. How many years ago?
Starting point is 00:24:42 Snow as an adult is very different than snow as a kid. It's all the work and no fun. You don't ever get off from school? Are we talking Omaha? Lincoln? Papillion, which is outside of Omaha. I see. You know, Papillion.
Starting point is 00:24:55 I actually don't, but my grandma's from Omaha. Close to Lincoln. How are the stakes? Not bad. Fresher. Did everyone say stripe it instead of striped? I don't remember. That's not my grandma.
Starting point is 00:25:07 Yeah, this was three years ago. That was like one of those Midwestern things. This was at least 30 years ago. Yeah, I moved there when I was six months old. And then that was, you know. I don't think you move when you're six months old. I don't think that counts. You are moved.
Starting point is 00:25:20 Yeah, I was physically moved it. Somebody moved. Oh, you moved it. So I learned that in Nebraska. So you say you lived there for five years, starting at six months. That doesn't count. That, you didn't live there five years.
Starting point is 00:25:33 You barely had conscious. I had consciousness briefly. Yeah, briefed consciousness. It was. I vaguely remember things from that. I remember it. We were packing up to move. I remember that. The first day I remember.
Starting point is 00:25:46 Living in Omaha is great. I remember what? We're leaving. I remember the basement and hiding in it from tornadoes. That was like the first waking moment. See, I had basements never in tornadoes. It was nice, but we had floods. That was, that sucked. Like in exit 8? I would always be flooding. Yeah, basically.
Starting point is 00:26:04 Happened twice. Like, right after I moved here. Well, I mean, it flooded a lot growing up too, but I mean, all my, Was that from the hurricane? Possession. Both of them. Did you say future Iris first? There was.
Starting point is 00:26:14 Future, I did. Did you give you a seashell? Hurricane Sandy. Yeah, Sandy. I think it was Irene. Oh, right. I got slammed twice in like a year. Fuck.
Starting point is 00:26:24 That's crazy. And then it's like, hey, none of your stuff's all gone. And I went, huh? You didn't want any of that, right? I was down here. I mean, I guess what it is. Yeah. I mean, that's what it was.
Starting point is 00:26:35 It's like, it's already gone. I'm living in Texas. You're telling me over the phone. What am we going to do? What's what I knew about it? No, save it. It's like, hey, everything you've ever owned that you were planning on moving out there, and it's gone now. My yearbook that I wasn't in.
Starting point is 00:26:49 No, I was in the yearbook. He was. That was the whole point, Michael. Why the fuck would I have the yearbook if I wasn't in it? Someone gave it to you? Yeah. Remember us? Someone gave it to me.
Starting point is 00:26:59 Don't forget us, Michael. Nick, I forgot them when I was still in high school. Hags. It's funny, they knew me because I didn't go. That was my reputation. That's how they need. That was your claim to fame. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:14 You forgot them. Yeah. Well, I've heard of you. Most of them I've heard of you at all. I didn't know them. Yeah. There wasn't that many people to forget. We've never met.
Starting point is 00:27:22 I don't even know who you are. You know who I am. There's a guy that's like, bro, I went to school with the rage quick guy like years ago. You know he's like, oh, I guarantee you. You're just like, I guarantee you, there's people. I never met him, but I guarantee you there's people talking about me not going to school and don't know. I'm the rage picture.
Starting point is 00:27:41 And they was like, dude, there was this kid I went to school with, like, that's probably more likely. Yeah, and they're like, I wonder what ever became him. Yeah. Oh, man. He's probably still at home.
Starting point is 00:27:52 Yeah. I try when I can't. Home school Jones. I bet he's falling asleep in a movie theater right now. Not very long. Yeah. He still gets the gist.
Starting point is 00:28:03 He's got a guardian angel. Ha ha ha ha ha ha. There were way more people at that movie that I was expecting to. Yeah. I mean, by way more, it was like five. Yeah, maybe. Three to five. Yeah, but I still agree with you.
Starting point is 00:28:22 Yeah. Yeah. It's like, I was hoping we get the theater to ourselves. I kind of had a similar feeling of sometimes the food we get when I'm like, dude, we have an excuse. We're working. Why is anyone here? Yeah, why is anyone else here? Why would you choose to come here?
Starting point is 00:28:36 I was, and it's not just that movie. No. Oh, it's, dude. That, okay. It's that movie at that time. Yep. On a Wednesday. It's a Wednesday at 11.
Starting point is 00:28:46 11 a.m. You're here seeing this? I was surprised. Who are you guys? That group was sitting in that front row. There's a front row group? Well, no, no, like the bottom of the ball. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:57 I'm just surprised they picked. It was also off center. So it was really odd. I know. You have your pick of all of them. Why do you not? There were plenty of seats that shoes for it. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:05 They were probably like, well, everyone's going to be in the center. I don't want anyone behind me. See, I never picked Sarah. They're overthinking it. I never pick center when they go with my kids because they'll have a fit if someone's sitting next to them. And the likelihood of someone sitting next to them is higher if we're in the center. Because people want the center. They do.
Starting point is 00:29:21 It's the go-do spot. It's always like, I want them in the corner. That's why I try to get that one theater at the South Lamar Draft House that has the, there's like an island of just two seats. Oh, yes. And then there's a gap on either side and it's amazing. That's where you take your kids? That's where I take my wife. So yes.
Starting point is 00:29:39 That's why I take my cats. I knew it. We're going to go see a cat movie. Well, there's no food to unbox. Wow. No, yeah, I guess we can end it in the garage for Gracie? Yeah, let's just end the podcast in the garage too. Yeah, we'll just run this back three times.
Starting point is 00:29:56 What if as a big? We already talked about the movie. We'll call it the exit. We'll call it the exit eight episode and we'll just loop this three times. That'll take a good idea. That's a good idea. That's a good second, Jordan. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:07 All right. Well, see you. next time. Did you like the podcast? Wake Jeff up. Anomily? Yeah, tell him we're swapping out. Jeff? Jeff, wake up. Scooter. Oh, he said no. Trash can. Trash can. Jeff's not here. Anomily. Anomily! No! No! No! No! Oh, the eyeball rats. They got you. They're biting your penis off. Not again. Guys, I love you, but I can't be stuck with you in the loop.
Starting point is 00:30:34 You can't be stuck with us? Shut the fuck up. Bye.
