Starting point is 00:00:00 Welcome to 100%E, the show where we try every fast food restaurant to let you know if you need it. You probably do. I'm your host, Michael Jones. Oh, I'm like my coach. It's weird and how are you? Wow, what a fun shape. What fun we're having? We're ripping each other.
Starting point is 00:00:17 Whoa, don't rip me too hard. We'll rip you. No. Nick get the talkie. It's going to get that curve, baby. Welcome, welcome to the show. Starting Starting good
Starting point is 00:00:31 Yeah Good and pleasant Yeah Supernatural It's been It's been a very low-key day It has Nothing crazy happen
Starting point is 00:00:40 Mm-mm People in the streets Michael's feeling good Not for me It's not crazy for me Yeah pretty normal All the whole thing's considered Uh-huh
Starting point is 00:00:50 When usually when you go and you say I wreck the toggle bell bathroom It's not like that What style? you know, Michael's style. Oh, no. What's the opposite of poopos? What's the opposite of poohos?
Starting point is 00:01:05 Pucos. Pucos. That's pretty good, Nick. This banana ice gave me alive. Hell yeah. It's leveling me. Ooh, did you go all the way out to the outskirts of Hutto to get it? No, I did.
Starting point is 00:01:20 Believe it or Nick, I did not. I didn't become the go-to spot for you. Yeah, I was feeling it. I decided to go to the place on the way here. Yeah. You didn't go back to the place where you bought the one that you said you hated and we're going to go get another one on the way home? That's weird.
Starting point is 00:01:36 That's weird. Yeah, I still have that. It's pretty fully juiced. It's the backup. It's what it is. Yeah, it's the backup. In case of emergencies going like this, I know, it'll do. Nick has said twice, you should leave it here.
Starting point is 00:01:50 Yeah. I can leave it here. It's fine. Nick wants to have a little bit. That's fine. Nick can have a little. I can't be like, oh, I have so much stuff to upload after recording today. It's in my car.
Starting point is 00:01:59 It's in my car. I'll leave on the car. I have to say. I don't even keep track of it. So, like, I wouldn't even notice if the number went down. Wow. Oh, there's a number. Yeah, like every single one of them.
Starting point is 00:02:09 There's a number. You know how it works. I don't act like you don't. It's like, how much is left? He goes, mm-hmm. Mine were always disposable. Mr. Snoose. And also, these are also disposed.
Starting point is 00:02:19 Yeah, these are disposable. What are you talking about? Huh. You talk about that old technology. Yeah. Okay. Welcome to the new world. Menthol, baby. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:27 Yeah. Now it's like you get a number and you get candy. Yeah. Welcome to the new age. Come on down. Kids. Yeah. Right.
Starting point is 00:02:36 No, grown-ups only. Yeah. This one's banana ice and it's for me only. Right. Right. We're going to ban THTHTHC out of here. Laffy Tilly Tilly town. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:47 THC is gone. Do you want nicotine that tastes like a slurpy? This one's bluey flavor. All right. But only grown up. Only for grownups. Granted, you know, it doesn't have like the carcinogenics of cigarettes.
Starting point is 00:02:59 Yes. But I look this up. One of these is about 13 to 16 packs of cigarettes. Yeah. Holy shit. Of nicotine. It holds a lot. That saves so much money.
Starting point is 00:03:08 It does. Smooth. Yeah. I feel like that might cause other problems, though. No, I can't think of a single problem it would cause. It fixes a lot of problems. There you go. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:18 And that's what we're all about here. People get mad every time I say it calms me down. Yeah. People get mad. But like, that's what a, that's a cigarette. Stop pushing that narrative! Yeah, that's like, that's what it does. Shut up!
Starting point is 00:03:28 That's the nicotine. Shut up! Yeah. Uh-huh. That's the nicotine. That's nicotine. Guys, I come here, I come here for, like, health advice. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:03:39 Okay. I don't like it. And the health advice is, should I be eating KFC. And the answer should be. At least we're not pushing peptides. Yeah. Oh, wouldn't that be cool, though? Imagine.
Starting point is 00:03:51 Imagine if we just did it. Did you see the guy, the bodybuilder? Did you see the bodybuilder guy? No, who's the bodybuilder guy? You gotta be a little more specific. Is the guy on TikTok? You're gonna be talking about Wayne for all I know. So there's a guy on TikTok who had 24 drinks every day.
Starting point is 00:04:05 24 drinks. Took peptides and did not work out to enter a bodybuilding contest to see how he would place. He came in like, he came in like sixth out of seven people. Okay. He looked, hey. I was like six. That's pretty good. Hey, but, dude, imagine being the seventh guy who was behind the guy who didn't work out.
Starting point is 00:04:24 did peptides and drank every day. I'd be fine with that. Dude. Right, but how much? He looked good. How much did that guy work out? I was like, I worked out one day and a month.
Starting point is 00:04:31 I'd be fine with that because I didn't do all that stuff. Yeah, compared to other bodybuilders, he wasn't jacked, compared to a normal guy, he looked great. So it's like, maybe we gotta do peptides.
Starting point is 00:04:42 You start. Yeah. Oh, I would definitely say. If I had a doctor, if I had a doctor going, here's how you do steroids, I'd do steroids.
Starting point is 00:04:48 Nick's over there, can ask him. I feel like most people, most people, Dr. Monkey? Most people aren't Just like, you know, playing the doctor lottery and hoping that their doctor does it. I think they go find the doctor that does it.
Starting point is 00:05:00 Well, we need a doctor. I think you just got to seek him out. No, if you're on the Discord. Yeah. Dr. Robot Tomato. Let him know. Give him a regimen and he'll do it. MD PhD.
Starting point is 00:05:13 Dr. Doctor, give me the news. I got a bad case of Dr. Strange. Okay. All right. All right. All right.
Starting point is 00:05:22 Lights camera Jackson over here. That's the best one he ever did That's so cool He was the child film critic He's in like his mid-20s now And still doing it So he's now Robot Tomato
Starting point is 00:05:33 No what are you talking about Yeah Yeah Yeah We veered off that We veered off that freeway A while Dr. Robot Tomato was a child doctor
Starting point is 00:05:42 Who also reviewed movies And now he's in his mid-20s Still reviewing movies Lights camera tomato Doogie Robot Tomato Doogie Robot Tomato is awesome.
Starting point is 00:05:56 This is nemesis. Yeah, I think. This is Wario. It's my brain working. Somebody is going to join. We're going to get a new subscription. Somebody's going to join the Discord. Doogie Robot Tomato.
Starting point is 00:06:07 And it's going to be his war. Grab it now. It hasn't been made yet. We just said it. It's going to be his icon. But you're all the first one. All million of you. We got some really interesting news
Starting point is 00:06:21 while we were at the taco. Yeah. Was it that there's more walk-up tickets available at the show next month? No. No, but it does have to do with the live show. It does. You should take a chance, though.
Starting point is 00:06:30 You should take the chance, though. Hey, and if you do take a chance you can't get in, just see Nick. He'll be up the show. We'll send him outside to handle this situation. Yeah, he'll put his mask on and he'll kind of dance around. Yeah, it'll be easy to spot him. There he is. We just get some poor fuck and with the mask on.
Starting point is 00:06:45 Get him outside. I'll bring two in my carry on. Listen to Dr. Nick. People will bring their own. There's bound to be someone there. Bringing a mask. You should just It happened at the last life show we did. Yeah. Several. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:57 People were really into it. So at the Taco Bell, by the way, we ate Taco Bell today. No. Taco Bell Tahoe menu. It's true. It's true. Is it? You know what?
Starting point is 00:07:08 It's a good question. We'll get to it. We're at the Taco Bell and Jordan went, oh, our merch supplier, Elfamoso, just did a count of all of like their inventory, like their yearly stuff. And they went, we just found 25 switch force. saying this doesn't help the narrative you keep saying they're not going to find tickets yeah when you say shit like guys we found 20 we just found 29 there's no more switchforks and there's no more tickets right so in new york we will have 25 switchforks that will be on sale but there will be no more tickets yeah so get get there as early as you can if you want one of the switchforks because
Starting point is 00:07:44 they'll probably go pretty quick well we're going to charge a thousand dollars so that might help michael's plan is to really make a lot of money off these switchworks make it worth it Maybe it worth our while. We're already going out there. Worth our while? It's already kind of monkey money, you know? Yeah. One might as well make it massive monkey money.
Starting point is 00:08:01 I said we should... We should all sign them. Oh. 150 each? I know. $500? I don't know. You went for $150 to $500 really fast.
Starting point is 00:08:11 Well, it's because... $500? I think I low ball with. We had a guy sent us a $10,000 check to come sit here and cuck himself. Yeah, but he's not coming to the show. Right. But I'm just saying... There could be a little cuck.
Starting point is 00:08:22 He's not been doing well since then. He's been struggling. We saw him at homebrew and he was like, I walked here. We were like, he made it to the show and he went, I couldn't make it home. I've been here since I gave you every dollar I had. I was really hoping you guys would be benevolent and saying, no, actually keep it. Return the cash check I sent you. We just barely kept it away from Nick.
Starting point is 00:08:52 He's still, Nick, you're lucky Nick wasn't there because he would have been asking for tax money. Taxes, taxed. Yeah, we owe us. You owe us. Gotta cover him, man. You owe us. Uncle IRS.
Starting point is 00:09:06 But yeah, anyway, switch forks. We're gonna have 25 switchforks, so those are gonna go fast. Don't count on getting one of those. I imagine, you're not getting it. I imagine if you're VIP, you'll probably get a chance to, and then maybe if all the VIPs go through and they don't buy them,
Starting point is 00:09:18 then regular bugs might be able to have. Also, I don't, I'm just, it's never gonna happen. I don't know if we've unveiled the shirt yet, I was going to say, we have a shirt, an exclusive shirt. Fuck are you talking about? For Gracie? What the fuck?
Starting point is 00:09:31 Can Gracie wear it? Why haven't I been told about this? How can I get that? Why haven't I been told about this? How come nobody showed Gracie? So we got a new shirt that's going to be at the show. We showed Gracie. No.
Starting point is 00:09:46 Not according to her. Showed Gracie weeks ago. And then when she was here. It was just like they wiped your boyfriend. and then she couldn't believe it. And then she said, where can I get that? I wish I had a pretzel shirt. I wish I had a pretzel shirt for the wear for the show.
Starting point is 00:10:03 Wow. Great news, Gracie. And you were like, you're joking? I said it to you. And she just went. Because she said, what if we all dress the same? And then she said no. No, then she said she's going to dress us.
Starting point is 00:10:14 Yes. Because then she said, no, I don't want to dress like you. I'll dress you. Yeah. What does that mean, though? I don't know. She's going to buy clothes for us? No, but then we're going to bring our whole wardrobe.
Starting point is 00:10:23 It's shopping. We're not going shopping. But then she wanted a pretzel shirt and we went, Are you fucking serious? And she went, yeah. I have a pretzel shirt. And then we showed her and she said, oh, we're going to get that. This is like all on the Michael Jordan podcast.
Starting point is 00:10:37 Yeah, so Gracie was in town last week and we recorded a Michael Jordan podcast with her. And a bunch of other stuff. Oh, I'm all go. There's a lot of Gracie content coming up. Yeah, that'll all be like in September. So it'll be a shirt. Somebody ducked out of some of it. Yeah, Nick.
Starting point is 00:10:51 Bullshit. I got Nick's experiencing the gracy content for the most. Yeah, yeah. Also, my wife called me. He has a love, yeah, at the very end, like got a phone call. I was like, uh-oh, you're in trouble. Were you in trouble? Was your wife or your son?
Starting point is 00:11:07 It was a son. It was your son. I was ready to start yelling in the background. And I heard like, Denda. He's like, dad, I'm tired. I want to go to bed and I'm scared. It was like 7.30. It was pretty late.
Starting point is 00:11:18 It was light. We got bitch. So I started. What are the shorter retro reads we did? Insane. Right. Insane because it's still, it was still long.
Starting point is 00:11:27 Only because of technical difficulties. It's true. Michael was texting me updates. Jordan dropped Nick's phone again. Oh, that. See, I didn't say again. Well, no, because I didn't drop it ever. Right.
Starting point is 00:11:38 You're right. You didn't do that either. I was certainly accused of doing that. No, you, I'm pretty sure you admitted it and said, was you? See, what's probably about, get him a new phone? We all get him a new phone. Is that? all by Nick a new phone.
Starting point is 00:11:53 We can talk about this because the thing that we recorded... It's not even done. It's not done. We have to finish it. We stopped. I know. I was the one saying we should finish it.
Starting point is 00:12:04 I don't even know. I was like, that was good enough, right? I was like, probably not. There was a way to finish it. Yeah, the phone might have been dead for all we knew. Nick, Nick's phone died because A, his phone died because it died.
Starting point is 00:12:16 He didn't plug it in. Nope. B, I mean, Jordan unplugged it. Right. Right. But that was. unrelated to it just not working. Yeah, because it didn't ever flash
Starting point is 00:12:25 low battery alert. I'm there the whole time and it never flashed it. It just shut off and didn't turn back on. And boy, it didn't turn back on. Like we plugged it in and like nothing happened. It didn't even do the little logo or like charging. It being unplugged and it not working
Starting point is 00:12:41 I think are two different issues. It led to it. Did it lead to it? Whatever. It doesn't matter. Buy him a new phone bitch. No, if it hadn't come back on, the company would have. Why would we? Because it broke my phone.
Starting point is 00:12:54 He didn't do anything. At best, he unplugged it. Right. So why would we buy you a new app? If my phone stops working right now, I don't get a new one from the company. Like, what the hell are you talking about? It's not working because we were using it for filming. That's not true.
Starting point is 00:13:06 Yeah. That's not true at all. Get the fuck out of here. Get the fuck out of here. You sound like me on Thursday. If something stops working at work, we just get a new one. When Nick came in, he was like, he was like, well, my phone's working. You dodged a bullet.
Starting point is 00:13:21 Dude, it was, so it was like Wednesday when we filmed this. We got done, we're like, oh man, Nick, sorry, but hey, at least your phone's working now. It was like probably 40 minutes of trying to get this thing to work. Finally started working.
Starting point is 00:13:34 Thursday, I'm here, and I'm finding something on Tubey. Jordan comes in and sits down. Nick walks upstairs. Well, my phone's working, so you really dodged a bullet. And I texted Michael, and I just said, they're arguing about Nick's phone again. That's right.
Starting point is 00:13:49 And I said, please don't argue. in front of Gracie. Which you did. It was so good. It didn't come up later. Oh my God. I will say. You're lucky. You are.
Starting point is 00:14:02 So is the company. I know. I said, I know he's joking, but he was going so far. I'd be like, you would have to buy me a new phone. I was like,
Starting point is 00:14:10 even as a bit, I can't believe what you're saying. Jordan was like, flabbergasted. I was like sitting there looking straight. And I was just like, I can't believe you. I'm not engaging with you.
Starting point is 00:14:24 And then they was like, we're getting around. We're having fun. Doogie robot tomato. It's like how, it's like when I'm sleeping and my cat jumps on my head in the middle of the night.
Starting point is 00:14:37 I was like, we're having fun. Yeah, we! I got the zoomies. I'm even phone. So we filmed a lot of stuff with Gracie, but we'll be with Gracie in New York where we will have 25 switchforks. We will have the.
Starting point is 00:14:50 soft pretzel soft pretzels shirt, which you'll see here if you're on YouTube and then we'll also post on social. The VIPs will have a very, very cool poster with art from our friend Aaron. Aaron win, yep. Fantastic. It looks awesome. It's so cool.
Starting point is 00:15:08 No, because then they'll take a screenshot and save it. Yeah! Yeah, get them! Only the VIPs get to see it with their eyes. Yeah, VIPs get to have it. I mean, they're going to post it. Yeah, that's fine. Okay. So it's going to be some really cool stuff. I'm really excited for our... For some reason I'm making that little room.
Starting point is 00:15:24 You're feeling like Nick all of a sudden. You guys dodged a bullet. That's what you get for not buying the tickets that you tried to get to because they sold out. There might be five at the door. There won't be five at the door. There won't be any VIBs. I'm talking about the BIDs. There won't be any standard tickets. There might be. You've got 25 of them.
Starting point is 00:15:44 And then the last item. Guys, we found tickets underneath the switch. What was the last thing? What am I forgetting? The other poster. Oh, there is another. poster, yeah, that that everyone can buy. That's an everyone poster. The VIP poster is very important bugs
Starting point is 00:15:58 and you get that, you have it. We'll sign it for you if you want. I won't. We take tips. I mean, we will take tips, but if you tip, you have to cover the tags. Yeah, and it'll be in a cup and it'll say, Nick's new phone.
Starting point is 00:16:10 Should we set up like a tip jar or like a QR code for a Vimeo? People can tip us. Would people do that? If we take it, if we take it, him getting anything. Yeah, so we should. If we take it on Venmo, it might get taxed. But if we take cash, bring cash to the show. Bring cash and give it to us under the table. Here's what. If we do a tip jar, it should be a Gracie tip jar. That's true. That is true. Yeah, and you're donating to Gracie.
Starting point is 00:16:36 Yeah. Yeah. That's a good, that's definitely a good call. Every time, I want the joke of taking people's money as a tip jar, but I don't actually want to take it. No, right. Right. Right. We give it to Gracie gets. Every, every two months that. We give it to Gracie. Wink. That's right. We all give it to Gracie, wink. Yeah, we're giving it to Gracie Wink, a new character. The new phone fund for Nick. Lucky. Funds spelled age. It's also, it's not even like a one for one.
Starting point is 00:17:00 And granted, it was his dreams being shattered. This is all the stuff that we just sent the guy to a goddamn NBA finals. And I come many money. And he's like, bitch by the guy. Dude, he got a cool shirt in the. That's a great shirt. Very cool shirt. Wait until you see 100% treat or you're going to see a very cool shirt.
Starting point is 00:17:14 The live show when he's wearing it. I'm, I'm packing it. It's going. One way or the other, it's making it to New York. Start spreading the news. New York. I'm leaving today. That's like soon, right?
Starting point is 00:17:32 Yeah, so. We should probably get our tickets. September 3rd, we, everything's, everything's saying care of. No, I'm in for the show. No, we don't have to have tickets. We're going to be there. There won't be tickets at the door. For us.
Starting point is 00:17:44 There aren't tickets of the show. No. Ah! I did forget and remember like five times what day we're leaving. Okay. I should write this down. Something's going to come up. Keep forgetting.
Starting point is 00:17:53 Something's going to come up. Boy, Eric's going to get a phone call. Like, I'll be there in the morning. They got other flights, right? They got plenty of flights, but how hard is it to get to New York? How hard is it to get to N-Y? Hey, I'm flying here. Classic.
Starting point is 00:18:09 I'm going to N-Y. I'm watching the episode. X-L-N-Y. The beginning of that episode? N-X-Y-X-Y. X-Y-N-L. He said something. I didn't say NYXL.
Starting point is 00:18:21 I don't remember what it was. XL. No, X, Y, N-L. I think that's what you said. X-Y-N-L. Something like that. Yeah. Links. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:29 Hawaii and X. Oh, cool. Donkey Kong, New York! But New York live show very soon. Sold out, very sorry. But I think we can say, we can cut this out if we want to or whatever. They offered us another day for the show and we can't do it. We don't have time.
Starting point is 00:18:47 We don't have time. We should have planned it in. though, because... To be fair, you gave his heads up. Yeah, but then I said 50, 60% sure that they were gonna offer it.
Starting point is 00:18:57 You said normally they offer it if like you blow out the seats and they have like more demand they'll offer to do two shows in a row and I said, that's gonna happen. Yeah. I didn't think it was gonna happen. I thought it was just gonna be like something else.
Starting point is 00:19:10 That's because you were basically on how much people would come see you not come see us. And in that scenario, no one would come to the first show. But that's not what it is thankfully. It's us. So I was like, you know, we could just stay an extra day and like really just like ramshank all these fuckers and take their money
Starting point is 00:19:26 But we didn't unfortunately also Gracie wouldn't be there Yeah, Chrisie is leaving on the fuck I don't care I can make money without Gracie Oh tip jar for us okay no tip jar it would just be more tickets both Well there are five tickets I feel like next time we do something like this yeah yeah yeah How to do this and stuff and in a lot of ways it's maybe I'll stick around I'll do well I'll do a solo. It's not as, like, complicated as I thought it was gonna be.
Starting point is 00:19:54 Especially the merch stuff. Yeah. It was like, when we realized that, it was like, oh no. Dragging all the merch around New York City. But Elfamoso has been so. No, shockingly, we don't have to. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:03 They've been so good about like, I don't want you to do. Like, just knowing how to do this stuff. It was like, oh, I'm so glad we're not doing this. It's going to be like Pax, and that's how I feel about everything you do. Yeah. See how nice it feels?
Starting point is 00:20:14 Yeah, we're just glad it's not falling on it. No, I know that. That's what I'm just saying. Because then it looks like it's going to. I'm like, oh no. Imagine this. Imagine that being this part where I'm like, oh, thank God. God, Jordan's got it handled.
Starting point is 00:20:27 Now you're experiencing how I feel. Easy does it. Yeah, I'm just glad. He's kind of worry about this guy. When you said it was like packs or something, I was like, that's actually not that easy either. We'll get there. We'll, we'll drive to somebody.
Starting point is 00:20:40 I'm doing Mega 64 style. We'll drive to somebody's house where we shipped. Probably my house. We ship all of the stuff. They used to ship their stuff. my house for RtX. They shipped all of their merch to Jordan. Jordan would keep it like in a garage.
Starting point is 00:20:53 They would drive a U-Haul across Austin. Here you go, Derek. Yep, and they would load it all in the back of the U-Haul. Then they would drive it to the- Because that is cheaper than shipping it to the convention. Yep. And then they would get it and then go and set up the whole booth. How much cheaper I don't know?
Starting point is 00:21:09 Considerable. Okay. Considerably cheaper. Okay. It's crazy. It's a lot of work. It is so much work. But we don't have to do that.
Starting point is 00:21:16 So come to our live show. you bought a ticket. If you didn't buy a ticket, stay away. Hey, come on down if you bought a ticket. Like, you're inviting people to have bought tickets. Don't forget. Don't forget. Put it your calendar. I gotta remember. It's the ninth. There is one year in...
Starting point is 00:21:31 It means yes. No. It might have been 2012. It was before I moved out here. That's the end of the world. Where they... Rooster did you at a booth at VidCon. And since I still lived in Southern California, I think Bernie and Gavin were coming, and they were like, hey, you want to, like, come down, run the,
Starting point is 00:21:49 do work, run the booth? Right. You want to build it to? You and some friends. Hey, hey, Caleb's going to be there. And so, uh, I was like, yeah, that sounds cool. And little did I know that when the, uh, show ended that everything would need to be packed up and shit.
Starting point is 00:22:04 I believe it was supposed to go to Comic Con, which was a couple weeks from that. Yeah. And, uh, I was like, so how do I do this? And Bernie's like, start like fighting for palace, right? What? Pretty cool. And so I had to call Gus. I mean, you had to walk me through and filling out all the paperwork.
Starting point is 00:22:20 This all sounds right. Packing it up. This all sounds right. And it was like me and like two of my friends and Katie Ward was like coming to Austin 4RTX had like a layover in in L.A. for like 12 hours or something. Uh-huh. So she came. Insane.
Starting point is 00:22:39 To the convention. And like insane. She was working with Hannaby and all that stuff. So she knew how some of that stuff worked. And she was a, she was a. She was a big help, actually. None of it made it to the right spot. Good, turns out.
Starting point is 00:22:52 But we were the last people there. Nice. That's fun. That's great. It was crazy. I came in, like, at the tail end of, that's like probably one of the last times that shit was flying, like, in 2012 where it wasn't like, it was like the bigger, like, yeah, or like set up yourself and like, you bring your own people or whatever.
Starting point is 00:23:14 And I came in, I mean, I hired. for rage quit. Not being like part of the community or anything. They're like, we don't trust you for shit. I'm not going to ask you to do anything. You're strictly talent. Yeah. And we know that. I still saw that shit. I still wasn't. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:23:30 Well, it's like you and like Barbara. Like Barbara would come help. I remember doing. Barb would fly in from Canada and like, hey, you're here. Get to work. I did. I think I went to. Yeah. And she's like, I'm Alba Mills. Caleb would go to all. Yeah. Caleb was like, he was expert. Uh-huh. Yeah. He was like, he was like, he was like, he was like 4 p.m.
Starting point is 00:23:46 Sunday, we gotta find a palette. He was like, he was like the, like the foreman. Yeah, he was. He really was. And I was like, it was after all the VidCon stuff. And I was, I was with him at ComicCon. And he was like a pro. I was like, this is how you do it.
Starting point is 00:24:01 Okay. I learned a lot, but then never had to apply it because I never got in that situation again, thankfully. See, easy as that. You guys, uh, you guys been eating a Taco Bell lately or what? Yeah. Dabble. Nick had the food. I had it on Saturday.
Starting point is 00:24:15 I dabble. Um, yeah, That wasn't that long ago. I honestly, I've really, like, cut down on my fast food slobbery. Yeah. I saw you make hamburger chili. I did. I mean, even that Jordan's close to hamburger because it was a hamburger when I bought it.
Starting point is 00:24:32 It was. It was natural. It was actually four fatties. One of them was. Yeah. That was very funny. But I have, well, I have a new H.E.B. Near my house and my kids are older.
Starting point is 00:24:41 So I'm trying to, like, make real food for them. And so, like, if I'm not getting, like, them fast food, I don't get myself fast food. It's nice to not just feed the McDonald's chicken nuggets all the time. But if I go, it's either like I'm getting hankering for a Big Mac because he just like, when I want a Big Mac, I want a Big Mac. It's not like, I don't want a Cheeseburger. No, no, no, no, it's Big Mac. You want the name right.
Starting point is 00:24:59 Yeah, I can't get that sauce. It's either Big Mac, it's delicious, delicious chicken from Chicken Play or Taco Bell. Yeah. So it's, I still dabble with Taco Bell. But I haven't been like, man, you know, I haven't gotten 26 times in a month. Yeah. I mean, also even though that Taco Bell. has become probably the best food we eat on this show.
Starting point is 00:25:19 I'm still not going out of my way to go eat. It's strange because I feel the same way. Yeah, yeah. I just don't, I just don't frequent Taco Bell very much. The only time I go is when my wife goes, I want Taco Bell because she wants the huge Mountain Dew. You can get that somewhere else. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:25:34 You don't get that Taco Bell. I make her buy the tiny Mountain Dews that she can keep at the house, which because of her, they're like normal side. It's like us holding a rate at the end. It's like when Shaq holds a can. It looks like the mini one. Yeah, exactly. But the inverse.
Starting point is 00:25:48 I do always try and keep like a stock of Taco Bo Fire Sauce, which is nice because like you can get like fucking 20 packets, even if you get like a taco. Yeah, you can just grab a whole bunch and plug me in your bag. It'll fight the craving too. Even if you don't go inside, like on the mobile app, it maxes out at 15. Yeah. You can't.
Starting point is 00:26:05 But even then, they don't count it. They look at 15 and go, oh, a fuck ton. Yep. Because I do actually use those. I'm not like my grandfather where it's like, oh, get ketchup. Get ketchup, no matter what. Yeah. Get to do it.
Starting point is 00:26:16 I get it. fire sauce and I'll get, which to be fair, I pay for them. They don't give you extra, but the sweet and sour is for McDonald's. Yeah. Because I make chicken nuggets a lot at home now. Oh, hell yeah. I still throw the kid. And then you do the dipping. But going to real stores,
Starting point is 00:26:30 I keep Panda Express, Sweet and Sour sauce, you can buy it in the store. Yeah. That's pretty good. And I get Taco Bell fire sauce. They still sell that in the store. Oh. So I have that shit at all. Get a bottle of it. My mom is the bottle? Like, does it look like the packet? It looks like. It's not shaped like the packet, but it's all the same coloring.
Starting point is 00:26:45 Yeah. It'd be cool if it would probably be inconvenient to use, but... I'm trying to think about how far do you push that, because one, there's no way it can stand up. Yeah, right. Two, how do you open it? You can't get it like tear the side in the corner. They're supposed to have, I think later this year, early next year, they're supposed to have that empanada with the hot sauce in it that's going to be like the fire sauce packet. At Taco Bell.
Starting point is 00:27:08 Yeah, no, I remember seeing that. Yeah, it was one of the things they announced it their big keynote thing. It's supposed to be just like a closed empanata thing. filled with like the hot sauce, you rip off the top, and then you can dump the hot sauce. It's fucking dumb. But they're doing it.
Starting point is 00:27:22 And we'll get it. Yeah. Do you guys want to learn about Taco Bell? Yeah. I'll say yeah. Okay. Then let's do it. Let's go.
Starting point is 00:27:34 That's how I was looking at you in the car, I think, when we were at TGA Fridays or whatever I was going. Just smiling and nodding. I'm smiling and nodding. When was our last Taco Bell episode? Let's find out. Okay. Let's get into it.
Starting point is 00:27:47 Ha ha. Our last Marcos episode was April 28, 2026. We ate the Taco Bell triple double crunch wrap and Zab's Nacho. They received an average rating of 48.5. Remember Zab was Bulldogs, friend. That was the other one. That was Bulldogs friend. Yeah, Zab and Bulldog.
Starting point is 00:28:04 Yeah, Zeb and Bulldog are out menacing a doogie robot tomato. What's wrong with this guy? It's pretty funny. Oh, man. Cyclospora, the illness that makes you shit your brains out. Cases have continued to surge with the federal government stating that 1,947 cases of the disease are directly linked to Taco Bell. Uh-oh. The report caused Yumb Brand stock to drop and investors to become nervous.
Starting point is 00:28:35 Not sure what they're nervous about. Taco Bell has been making people shit their brains out for years now. I tell you, saying grace before the meal, at Taco Bell, we pray after we eat, folks. I see. That's good. That was kind of like a Rodney Danger. I was doing like a Rodney Danger. My kids are like loosely asking.
Starting point is 00:28:52 Without like directly knowing this. Yeah. It's like, do you? The vegetables kill you? Yes, we must stick to eating McDonald's chicken nuggets. It was kind of just like you die for me eating a vegetable. And I was like, no, you're going to eat your vegetables. Like I made vegetables.
Starting point is 00:29:08 Yeah, I'm like, I hear we're not supposed to be eating these. I've heard this is poisonous. I've been hearing negative things about these, dad. Don't worry. Vegetables are down. Didn't come from Taco Bell. You're funny. Taco Bell, almost 2,000 cases.
Starting point is 00:29:19 Hey, zero deaths. Congratulations, Taco Ball. Congratulations America. That means you're stronger. Taylor Farms? Yes. Taylor Farms Day Mexico is the leading cause until they went and met with the president.
Starting point is 00:29:32 And then that was actually, whoopsie, that was a mistake. Did you know that? But there were two people in Michigan that died. Shut the fuck up. Was that Taco Bell? That was Vandals. Oh. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:44 Yeah. Yeah. And the Clippers did nothing. wrong. Yeah. Throw them in there too. Pretty good. Talk about just an ounce.
Starting point is 00:29:53 They're bringing back their decades menu again. This time focusing on 2016. Can't wait to Pokemon go to the polls for the naked chicken chalupa a thing no one had fondness for unless you're Harambe. Damn, Daniel.
Starting point is 00:30:07 2016 fucking sucked. Wow. Dude, look up 2016 memes and just go, these weren't even good. Like these fucking suck ass. Gets out for her own,
Starting point is 00:30:18 so it's like the naked chicken chalupa, they're bringing back the apple empanata. Um, uh,
Starting point is 00:30:25 they're doing the, uh, beefy crunch wrap burrito with like the fritos. Okay. Well, let's calm down. 2016 is back,
Starting point is 00:30:34 baby. Nick stoked. I'm 20 again. Well, so it's just a trunk run again. They're just, they're kind of like
Starting point is 00:30:41 rolling it back. 28. Yeah, I was doing this. It's a stretch. It's a stretch. I'm 20 again. 20 years ago I'm in college
Starting point is 00:30:50 20 years ago you got it you got it pretty hard from Gracie and Jordan in the thing we shot with her because they just to talk about how old you were and that you couldn't that's why you weren't there Gracie doesn't make fun of my age to me but I think when I'm not there she gets excited to be able to do it asking them to stop yeah I was uncomfortable I'm saying come on dude uh huh and Nick backed me up
Starting point is 00:31:14 I did Leave the old man alone. He couldn't say that with his straight face. He did. Yes. Oh, no. Stop. He's already dead.
Starting point is 00:31:24 From old age. It fit right in with that episode, though. Dude, that's what? The clip that you sent. What he had to? Jordan. Sorry. Where's he?
Starting point is 00:31:40 So immediate. I wouldn't be alive today. Gracie, what do you mean? You couldn't hear it, but I even say, I go, I got a gas bet on a nick or something. He went, oh, what does that mean? She's just like saying stuff. Stay tuned to find out. A Memphis Taco Bell employee was arrested for throwing boiling water on her coworker.
Starting point is 00:32:06 We're not that this keeps happening. Let me just say this is not the first fact we've read about boiling water. Boiling water, it's like, it's like a pretty good weapon, man. It is. It's always there in the restaurant. When it's around. Yeah. 19-year-old Michaela Henderson said that her co-worker was harassing her,
Starting point is 00:32:21 then took her iPad, which was her final straw. Henderson grabbed a pot of boiling water, threw it on him, then left. The coworker was taken to a burn unit with second-degree burns on his leg and stomach. Police arrested Henderson shortly after, saying the two employees were engaging in horseplay. We've got to remember that horseplay. We've been calling it going ape when you attack a coworker, especially when it's actually your fault that we didn't order two. pizzas. I saved us.
Starting point is 00:32:50 Hero. Some were saying. He saved us also though, but wasn't him. Yeah, it wasn't me. He didn't do it, but he'll take credit for what happened from doing it. That's right. And you owe me a new phone. There it is. Crazy to throw boiling water on someone. I'm rumblings of new car. We don't even take your car. To the airport? Yeah, that's true. Ten years from now, it's like, remember? Really? So how are we paying for this new war?
Starting point is 00:33:20 Crazy to throw boiling water on your co-worker and the cops And the cops arrest you and they go It was horseplay We were just horsing around It was my final straw But it was horseplay Like when a horse has a broken leg
Starting point is 00:33:31 And you shoot it in the head It's just horse playing I think it's like this show Where we just continue to beat the dead horse Base! Okay The final fact Okay.
Starting point is 00:33:44 In June of this year, an Uber Eats driver was arrested after causing a disturbance inside a Mississippi Taco Bell. The driver became upset when he arrived to pick up an order that was not ready and began to berate Taco Bell workers. The altercation escalated when the man grabbed a cash register and threw it at an employee before leaving the restaurant and driving away. He was later charged with misdemeanor, malicious mischief and simple assault by threat.
Starting point is 00:34:08 Doing all that is just a misdemeanor. We need to train the sauce money to start going ape at these fast food places when we don't get what we want, but he needs to stop short of horseplay. If water gets involved, we know he's gone too far, but he can throw the cash register around a little bit as a treat. A misdemeanor to throw a cash register at an employee.
Starting point is 00:34:27 Also, it's simple assault by threat. I feel like you've escalated beyond the threat when you're hitting people with a cash register. The threat is, has been thrown. It's not that simple. When you beat someone up with like a Sega Genesis video game weapon, like a cash register, it's beyond simple.
Starting point is 00:34:43 Like that's crazy. Malicious mischief also sounds like too. It's not that. Yeah, that's not like a... Malicious mischief is just what Michael's doing every episode. It's mischief. There is malice, not a lot. It's simple.
Starting point is 00:34:58 It says a little bit of money. Exactly. I don't know it was a crime, frankly. It's a misdemeanor. It's not even a felony to attack Taco Bowl workers. That's how low they are. That's how low they are in society. Well, they're not podcasters.
Starting point is 00:35:09 That's true. Yeah. They say there's dignity in always. but I guess not. Not according to us, just the law. Yeah, I mean, I was under the impression. The losses otherwise. Also, like, are Uber eats drivers above the Taco Bell workers?
Starting point is 00:35:28 Yes, absolutely, yeah. Yeah, simple assault by threat, he attacked someone. That's crazy. Sometimes it's just like, I don't care what you call it. You think you could just be like, You've been arrested for beating someone's ass? Right. For attack.
Starting point is 00:35:46 You caved this person's head in with a heavy object. We were horse playing. Well, let's just miss you for the best. Simple. Assault. It was very easy. Fuck it. Watch how strong I am.
Starting point is 00:36:02 Pick it up and throw it. Are the cash registers not attached to the... I guess not. I kind of always assume they would be. I guess they're attached via probably cables, but I guess they're not bolted down. They're plugged in. People be winging them a lot.
Starting point is 00:36:15 Yeah. Crazy. It just doesn't seem like the easiest thing to hit someone with. Right. Of the things like around that you'd be right. If I were in this room,
Starting point is 00:36:23 it would be like taking this microphone off. Yeah. And then trying to beat you with it. Yeah, it is. Like it's more steps than just like attacking someone. Grab the hemmed. It's too nice. Even in a fit of violent rage,
Starting point is 00:36:36 I'd be like, I can't grab that. Even if it were my final straw. It's true. He just to grab it and he stops and then he grabs the picture of fiat. and just beats me to death of that. Well, I'd smash it and stab you with the glass. Oh, cool.
Starting point is 00:36:45 Good. You really like that. He's something, man. We're going to have a long week. I'll use one of those jars. That'd be probably the easiest by you. Yeah. Beating you with one of those salsa jars?
Starting point is 00:36:57 Nintendo 64 games? No. Nintendo 64 controllers. I would never. Nintendo 64. Each one of the little problems. We already have one broken rumble pack. I'm not going to break it.
Starting point is 00:37:07 That's true. If I find that one, it hit you with that. Yeah. Don't worry. Don't worry. Nick might have that rumble pack. Nick, you have a little rumble pack? Don't worry.
Starting point is 00:37:14 Nick has that integer 64. He did. I mean, he mostly just said the N64. He was pretty confident. He didn't have the Rumble Pack to begin with. And then I went, what's the golfer? My brother took it. Son of a bit.
Starting point is 00:37:24 I know. I have all the other systems. Why do your family members keep taking stuff? I know. They just take from you. That's why Nick tried to even out here. What the fuck can I get? Buy me a cell phone.
Starting point is 00:37:35 Don't break it. Don't buy it. Cell phone. I didn't. I know. So you got off the phone. Right. You're so fucking lucky.
Starting point is 00:37:43 Yeah. You are. Those are the wonderful facts. Bro, we're cruising. Yeah, that's what it feels like. I feel cruised. Jordan, you want to teach us about this food? Ultimately left me going, huh?
Starting point is 00:37:59 Yeah, so what they've done here before we get to the description is it's just a tahine array of items. Yes. Right, there's nothing to you at all. And it's the famous Mexican seasoning on tacos. and it's also not a lot of items I was really surprised when I
Starting point is 00:38:14 when I was choosing it at all I don't understand you're just sprinkling some dust and they give you the dust there's so many packets you can't get it on this yeah I don't get it on a cassidia why don't think it'd be like it'd be like I understand not putting it as like a new menu item but you think it'd be like they would just add it to the
Starting point is 00:38:30 page where it's like oh do you want to put because talk about you got like a million things like sour cream other cheese others but you think they just they throw the packets in there think you you would just add it to that Why wouldn't they do? You know, they did the dirty soda thing. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:38:42 Would you like to dirty it up? Dirty it up? Do you like, would you like to tapeen it up? Yeah. When we ordered the freezes, there is an option on those that says make it dirty. And I pointed it at Nick and he just went, oh. That's like too much. Mildy tahina pineapple slush.
Starting point is 00:38:59 I don't think so. It's weird that Taco Bell is bringing their fries to their permanent menu. I don't know if they have yet, but they are doing that. They have been around a long time. They have. And it's going to be the permanent thing. It's crazy that you couldn't get tahin fries. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:39:14 Why wouldn't they do the fries with like the shaker bag? The easiest thing you could do. Do tacos and fries with the tahin. Right. Or just be lazy and no shaker bag. Exactly. And you just put it on. Just do it yourself.
Starting point is 00:39:24 I don't understand. It's just a packet. Yep. We had to do some of this ourselves. Either they're sprinkling it on. Yeah. Or they're just giving you the packet. Why would it not be an option for any food item?
Starting point is 00:39:33 I don't understand. Very strange. But here's what we got. Taheen taco features a crunchy shell. seasoned with tahin and loaded with seasoned beef, spicy ranch sauce huh? Chris lettuce, shredded cheese and mango salsa for mango salsa for
Starting point is 00:39:48 299. What the fuck? Asterisk. Each tahin taco comes with a tahin classico seasoning packet. How'd you guys like that mango salsa? Too sweet. Did you taste mango at all? I didn't know that was mango salsa. I avoided most of it. The tahin I felt like was sweet.
Starting point is 00:40:04 There was a sweetness to it. And like a lime. That's the tehine also The sauce that put on it is so cold. It was very amazing. They picked up the taco and just went The tomatoes, if they do tomato and sour cream, it's always cold.
Starting point is 00:40:16 It was like extra cold. It was like freezer. It was like icy. Very, very cold. But it's like a Doritos Locos taco but with tahin. Yeah, basically. That's what they're trying to do. The tahin cheesy gordita crunch
Starting point is 00:40:29 brings the same obsession-worthy seasoning to one of Taco Bell's most beloved formats. Layering a warm pillowy flatbread with a blend of mozzarella pepper jack and cheddar cheeses wrapped around a tahine-seasoned crunchy taco shell filled with seasoned beef, spicy ranchals, crisp lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, and mango salsa for $599 asterisk.
Starting point is 00:40:49 Started with the Tahin classico seasoning pack. It had the cheese in between the two things, but boy, it really... They needed to season the soft flat bread. Cheese you like get a crunch. There might not be this shell without it. Yeah. No. Oh, it's true.
Starting point is 00:41:02 Right. But even this one I felt like was not up to the standard. Right, I'm just saying it's existence in general. And then we also got this. The tahine pineapple strawberry freeze. There was strawberry in that? That was the bottom. What?
Starting point is 00:41:16 I thought the bottom was the ta'in. There's tahin sprinkled throughout and it was mostly in the bottom. The bottom is a strawberry. Blends tropical pineapple flavor with strawberry flavored syrup and tahin for a frozen sip that hits sweet, tangy, and bowl all at once. The teaheen pineapple freeze is available in 16 ounces for $3.99 asterisk and 20 ounces for $4.19 asterisk. It was settled.
Starting point is 00:41:37 For $20 more cents, you'd be stupid not to. It was settled, so all the pineapple was like on the top, and it was probably like seven-eighths of the whole thing, and then the bottom eighth was... I thought they just put like so much tahina in it. That's what I thought, too. That's what I thought, too. And that's why I didn't get it.
Starting point is 00:41:49 There wasn't too much tahit for me, and I wasn't feeling very good when we were getting... No. Yeah, I never tasted strawberry at all. And if that whole thing was supposed to be strawberry, that's crazy. Uh-huh. You know that red at the bottom? Yes.
Starting point is 00:42:00 Yeah. That is what it was. What if you put it over the top? Yeah, what if? We don't know. you guys had it it was definitely the most taheen tasting thing we'll see I want that just
Starting point is 00:42:10 with not taillin I get the pineapple I bet you can get it with that strawberry pineapple thing but no don't put it in make it dirty yeah cool add the milk
Starting point is 00:42:19 add the milk so the taquin stuff it's just I asked Michael do you think this is them going see we don't have to do Dorito we can do different flavor
Starting point is 00:42:30 we don't need Dorito because it's the same thing I mean yeah it's the same concept And it even had like the Locos Taco logo. Yeah. So do you think that it's the thing where they're going like, hey Doritos, we don't need you, need you? No, I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:42:45 I don't think they're doing that. You don't think so? I don't, I mean, they still have the partnership though. They do. But I wonder if it's a thing where they're testing other things to be like, well, if we don't need Dorito and we don't have to pay them for like, I don't think so. The branding, then what's the point? Looming threat. This is much more closer to the Cool Ranch one than the, uh, very close to the Cool Ranch one.
Starting point is 00:43:05 Which is better. Yeah. So, no, either way. Real Canadian Superstore has everything you need this back to school season. Save on lunchbox savers like Ziggy's sliced deli-mee products for always 375. And get life brand pure Vita shampoo or conditioner for $8 each. At Real Canadian Superstore, when you're ready, we're ready with a whole world and more. Well, we have our reviews.
Starting point is 00:43:25 No, we have press material. We have press material, Jordan. Taco Bell and Taheen have both inspired the kind of loyalty and enthusiasm that can only come from real fan connections. Said Luis Restrepo. This is what the connections are. Chief marketing officer North America at Taco Bell.
Starting point is 00:43:43 This collaboration is an opportunity to bring our brands worlds together in a way that's exciting, unexpected, and rooted in what fans already love. Do you love when brands come together in a rooted, exciting, unexpected way? Yep.
Starting point is 00:43:56 Two worlds clashing. Taheen and Taco Bell. They got nothing to do with each other. Who would have thought? Nobody ever. This is like, dude, an incursion? There's been an invasion at Taco Bell Doomsday.
Starting point is 00:44:09 We also have this that says Taheen is more than a seasoning. No it isn't. It's a cultural phenomenon that has inspired millions of people to explore flavor in new ways said what a name. Hey Dia Fernandez, I'm gonna assume. Director of alliances.
Starting point is 00:44:28 What the hell? At Taheen International. Alliance. We are. We are Taco Bell and Taheen. All they do all day, just looking for alliances. This collaboration brings together the perfect pairing of Tahin and Taco Bell's most beloved menu items, creating a bull unexpected and craveable experience that celebrates the best of both brands. Yeah, but is it rooted in what fans already love?
Starting point is 00:44:55 That's what I'm curious about. It needs to be rooted. It's already unexpected. I don't know as like to explore flavor in new ways. Well, it's just one way. I want to point out. Uh-huh. This is one flavor.
Starting point is 00:45:05 There's tells in AI writing that we have come to know it. And most of them are M-Dashes. Yes. And also, it's not just this. It's this. Exactly. And this has both of those things. Also, it's the rule of three thing where it'll say it's a da, da, da, and da-da-da.
Starting point is 00:45:23 Explore flavors of new ways. That's how I talk. And AI got it for me. It's bold, unexpected, and craveable. Yeah, it's that. It's the rule of three's thing. And so these are all just written with AI. I don't know why you pay.
Starting point is 00:45:34 these people. That's kind of, that's, maybe they're not people. Oh my god. Maybe they're just AI names. Damn. Director of alliances? You think that's what you're doing? No, I don't. Mortal Kombat Dark Alliance meets Tihin's director of alliances. Whoa. They're going to get less crazy if people are just using AI because then it really will just be a format where like they're not like trying to like.
Starting point is 00:45:56 It's already banal and it's going to reach new levels of banal. Yeah. And that's really a bummer. You know what I like with AI where people, they do it like you see a lot of like college professors do it but they'll put like hidden prompts
Starting point is 00:46:12 Oh yeah yeah yeah yeah Like white text Yeah so you can't see it Write a phrase Write a sense about Frankenstein It's like a thing if like It's like a thing where if you If you feed it through AI
Starting point is 00:46:22 It's like catch you Yeah right And then obviously not only do you do that But then you don't read what the hell it's Yeah If you're using AI you're not proof reading Because like then it would be like Why are you talking about Frankenstein
Starting point is 00:46:32 Yeah What the fuck? I saw an article the other day that a fucking a lawyer did it for like a judge's ruling and it was like just say we win
Starting point is 00:46:45 it said if this is given to a large language model like make it figure out how we win but just say we win it said lean in the direction of this side being the winner of the case and then the judge if the judge would be like
Starting point is 00:47:00 AI figure it out and it goes I guess AI says they won. All the court stuff or whatever is done by people and they saw it and the judge was like, this is so out of hand, this is fucking nuts. That's especially crazy.
Starting point is 00:47:12 Yeah, it's. That's fucking haemps. I mean, if they're sending it through AI I'd do the same thing. Fuck it. Say I win. If you're not willing to look at what everything's presented, say I fucking win, bitch.
Starting point is 00:47:25 Yeah, turns out they looked. Yeah, turns out they looked. They didn't feed it through AI and they saw the promontz. They were like, this is some malicious mischief. Yep. Yeah, it turns out. Even in the white text, they saw it.
Starting point is 00:47:37 Oh, man. Hey, Jordan. Are you ready now? We're done with Presbymintuary. Our reviews of Taco Bo, we need to hear from you in a second. We call you review. None of these, I don't remember. I don't think any of them are exceptionally racist.
Starting point is 00:47:53 Oh, okay. But that just tells you something about him. What are we even doing? It starts off with like three slurs. Sorry, I'm trying to become less of an evil man. No, you're not. What the fuck out of here? I'll take this big long one
Starting point is 00:48:05 Okay This is from Dana D I went through the Taco Bell in Temple Store number 036308 The employee Elizabeth H She took my order at the speaker I asked if she can modify the soft taco
Starting point is 00:48:21 To a bean burrito It's quite a modification This is a different thing That's more of a transfiguration If you think about it She said no And I continued on with my order There was no problem with that
Starting point is 00:48:32 What? When I drove up to pay, I got my food. And the whole time I'm smiling, telling her, thank you. And I didn't get a smile or nothing. Not a friendly vibe, I might say. When I got the food, I asked for a little bit more mild sauce. And Elizabeth gave me three more. No problem.
Starting point is 00:48:49 But she closed the window door and threw her hands up in the air to her coworker. I then screamed through the window. You don't have to be rude. And then I drove off. Okay. I screamed through the window. I have never had this bad of an experience with a taco employee. That's your worst experience?
Starting point is 00:49:09 This is, she's never had this bad. Someone gave you what you wanted and then closed the window and gestured at her coworker. I really like that she said, I've never had this bad of an experience with a taco employee. Certainly not Cabana. If you can't simply smile and say, have a great night or something,
Starting point is 00:49:25 don't be working in food industry up front where you have to have customer service. Shut up. I looked online and they're, And there and a couple of reviews about this employee. When will action be taken because I shouldn't have my experience ruined? You're not ready. I shouldn't have my experience ruined because of that one employee. Same with other people.
Starting point is 00:49:46 parentheses, the food looked great and tasted great. Who's just looking for stuff to complain about? Oh, fuckers, boomers. So exciting. So exciting to run into the increasingly, to increase the increasingly rare one star review. about a random thing going, food was good. Food was great.
Starting point is 00:50:07 I'm also confused because... It looked great and tasted great. I asked if she can modify the soft taco do of a bean burrito. She said no. But then... But then... But then... It seems like that's not the problem.
Starting point is 00:50:17 But then said... And I continued on with my order. There was no problem with that. Yeah. It was just she didn't smile enough at her... Right. And gestured at her coworker, which honestly probably had absolutely nothing to do with her.
Starting point is 00:50:29 Oh, 100%. There's another conversation going on. There's a string headset. She closed the window and then went like this. She went, I'll kill you! I screamed through the window. They're going to make the room! I can't believe a taco employee would do this.
Starting point is 00:50:45 What? This is the worst taco employee I've ever run into. I've been to a lot of tacos. Food was great. It looked great. So you had no problem. The food was good. And you still went, I'm going to go fucking type this out.
Starting point is 00:50:57 Right. That's right. Dude. Incredibly, you have nothing better to do. I love it. Not even to be able. set by this, but again, the time investment to go type this.
Starting point is 00:51:07 I've never felt the urge to ever write a review ever about anything, ever. Okay, if it's a good experience or like, I'll come back and I don't know, I don't really like tip a Taco Bell, but like, if I'm like, wow, that was great at a restaurant, I'll usually like give them money. You know, like a tip or a, even then I'm not going to go, I'm going to go write a review.
Starting point is 00:51:25 I certainly am never going to waste time writing a bad review. Especially when the food's good. Especially even if, even if it's like totally warrant it. No one cares who cares about this. You're not doing anything. I mean, it's great content for us. It's great content for us. It's not like, no, they deserve it. I'm going to write this review and it's going to save someone's life.
Starting point is 00:51:45 Yeah, I'm going to be the hero. We're taking Elizabeth H down. I'm going to be flooding with a message. I'm going to be flooded with my God. Oh my God. Oh, my God. I'm not in messages. People going, hey, you saved me. I saw your review. You saved my life. That's it. Gracie. I wouldn't be alive today if it wasn't for this review. What? That'll make sense,
Starting point is 00:52:06 too. Oh, man. Well, it doesn't. Why we're saying it will make sense. All right. That looks like Shayla. It looks Shela, but I wouldn't know if it's Sheila, but I'm just going to say Shayla.
Starting point is 00:52:18 It's spelled like Shaila. Shela K, I had probably the worst experience ever for Taco Bell, which is sad because I love Taco Bell. Window person was extremely rude and rushing me to finish ordering. Mind you, I was pregnant, so I needed a minute to call my, cravings down.
Starting point is 00:52:35 I was having trouble with the app and nobody, not even the manager, offered to even help. They just shrug their shoulders like they didn't know what to do or even offered to help. Food was terrible. They got my order wrong and gave one sauce lettuce all over the place and cold tacos.
Starting point is 00:52:51 Cold tacos, that's a problem right here. So you were being rushed to finish your order. You were still on the app. Who's rushing you? But no, but I'm saying you were either at the front or you're at the drive-through placing the order. on the app. Hey, I can't figure this out.
Starting point is 00:53:05 You're done with the app when you get to the window. So that's probably why they were rushing you. Well, I think the- You pull up, hang on. I'm placing my order. I don't know, genuinely, I don't know what that means.
Starting point is 00:53:16 We don't need phones at this point. You don't make the order with the app and deal with a person taking your order. It's one or the other. So I don't know what the fuck are you talking about. I think the problem, whether she's at the window or in the restaurant, is that she had to take the time to calm her cravings.
Starting point is 00:53:31 Okay, do that before you get in line. bro, I'm not sure what that means in this conference. When you get to the part where it's time to order, have your shit figured out. Know what you want before. Who wants the app? I don't understand. If I walk into a restaurant and there's no line at all and I'm looking at the board, they'll be like, oh, the next. And I will specifically not.
Starting point is 00:53:54 I'm like, oh, I'm just looking like, I'm not ready yet. Even if there's no one in the restaurant, I don't want to walk up and have you ready to take my order. And you go, huh. Right. There's a clearer. I'm back here looking at the board. Okay, now I'm walking up. Yep.
Starting point is 00:54:08 Well, she's got... Hang on! Hang on. Hang on. Hang on. I'm on my app. Hey, oh, and then also... Tap, tap.
Starting point is 00:54:14 How do I do this? I'm pregnant! Can someone help me? I'm craving. Hey, now what? Can I get a dirt taco? Also, lettuce is spelled letas. It is.
Starting point is 00:54:26 Lottes. Lettase. Lettase all over the place. And cold tacos. And cold tacos. Well, we know that's called tacos. Damn. Yep, food was terrible. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:54:36 Look, if the food's bad, that's the one star worth it. Don't get me what Dana's doing, where it's like, food was great, tasted great. I guess like, do they mean app as in like the computer? But that's not what an app is. Why don't, did she? I don't know. Oh, you're right. No, you're right.
Starting point is 00:54:52 Window person. That's kind of what I was thinking too. So she's at the drive-thru trying to order it on your phone. I don't understand. Yeah. And at Taco Bell, it's not even, it's not like McDonald's. You don't give a code. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:03 There's no like, you just say, I order it. I just say, mobile order for Michael. Yeah. That's it. So like,
Starting point is 00:55:10 I don't, I just wait. Why are you at the goddamn window dealing with that? I just wait until I'm at the window and then I put my order in and then I show them and I go, where is it?
Starting point is 00:55:16 This is what I want. Yeah. Can you make this? So where is this? Can you make it? Should I submit it? You can just hand it to me. All right,
Starting point is 00:55:25 Taz. That's my cravings. Bro, I'm rushing you. If I'm behind you in the drive-through and I'm just like, Go, I'm hungry. And finally, David F,
Starting point is 00:55:35 it seems the employees can't understand beef burrito. Not racist, huh? They always give me attitude. And get it wrong. I wanted a beef burrito. I know it's not in the menu anymore. But they can make the damn thing. Also, the tacos are cracked and not easy to eat when I get them home.
Starting point is 00:55:54 And I only live a mile away. Apparently the person who screamed at me, I know what you want. Didn't. Wow. I know it's not on the menu anymore, but you can do it. I know you got hamburgers lying around that man. Get me a hamburger. What a fucking piece of shit.
Starting point is 00:56:11 Krispy tacos don't travel well. I mean, it's a known fact. They don't. I just, but it's a mile. Him screaming, kept typing, beef. I want beef. I know you don't have it. I know you don't make it.
Starting point is 00:56:24 Beef burrito! No, they don't have it. They can fucking make it. Make beef burrito! Hey man. Hey man. man, if you can ever, like sometimes there's a thing not on the menu and it's like
Starting point is 00:56:34 either a specific location or just in general like, let me ask for it, they'll make it for you. If that works out for you, great. If it doesn't, too bad. It's not on the menu. Don't do it. That's a bonus. Don't do the, you're trying to pull fast one on me because I know you can do it. Motherfucker, it's not on the menu and you know it isn't. Saying, they could make
Starting point is 00:56:50 they could make a lot of things. I'm sure they could make a fucking, like, some sort of taco pizza that like is not on the menu. With hamburger? With hamburger? Doesn't mean they're going to do it. That guy? You could do it. Entitled.
Starting point is 00:57:03 Wow. That was... Bebarito. All right. That's a little harsh for you to say that. Five stars. Sitting up here on your fucking ivory tower. Indeed.
Starting point is 00:57:15 And I know it. Well, those are your reviews to talk about. We have our review that talk about Tahin menu. I know it's not on the menu. But they can make the damn thing. Come on. Come on. So this is essentially...
Starting point is 00:57:28 What a fucking turd. A druid. goes taco with tahine. I mean, it's whatever. Do they ever do Gordita crunches with the Doritos shell? I don't remember ever seeing that.
Starting point is 00:57:41 No, I don't think so. And maybe they shouldn't go forward. And I feel like they shouldn't because it's the inferior version. It doesn't come through. Not at all. They only put it on the shell. The outside is so big.
Starting point is 00:57:53 Like the outside. Not the hard shell. The flat red soft. I don't know what the fuck it is. Bing him a ball. Yeah. It's so thick that it just swallows it up. It swallows all the flavor.
Starting point is 00:58:05 Yeah. So like it really doesn't taste like you're eating anything tahin flavored on the gordita cream. No, not it on that thing? No. I went with the just regular taco first, the cold cold taco. And I feel like it came through. And like the whole taco wasn't cold. No.
Starting point is 00:58:20 It was just the shit on top was like frozen. But it was a majority of the taco that felt like, ah. Yeah. I was touching. It was like, when you grab it, you're like, eat. I got to run my hands under hot water. to prevent frostbite. That flavor came through much more.
Starting point is 00:58:35 And I think we all had like various degrees of dusting as well. Even Nick who said he had it before was like, oh, the one I got before was like crazy. Crazy. Yeah, he said they went nutso bongo. Yeah. Not here. And even that one is like, it's fine.
Starting point is 00:58:52 It actually doesn't taste like Tahin that much. No, it doesn't. Michael does not like Tahin. Right. Yeah, it was strange. all the flavors coming together. There's a lot of stuff that is canceling out the spicier parts of the tahin.
Starting point is 00:59:06 It was an offshoot of like a Dorito flavor. Yeah. He was right. It was closer to cool. It was closer to Quaranch. Turns out I was like that's not that bad. Like if there was like a lime I don't like taillian and I'm like this isn't tahin. If it was like Coorange lime that's what this tasted like. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:59:23 Now when I went to the gordita yeah. I got one of the packets put it around the outside. Yeah, you had to. Yeah. And even then, it wasn't great. So, like,
Starting point is 00:59:35 the tahin just never really came through. Yeah, the tahin in the packet is not true to heat. On any of the... No way. Any of the tacos. Yeah. The pineapple strawberry freeze, however,
Starting point is 00:59:43 was probably the most taheen-tasting thing. I agree. And maybe it's psychosomatic because before I knew that was strawberry, I was doing my best to mix it up and, like, get both, like, move the straw up a little bit. I know, he was getting real mad
Starting point is 00:59:56 because you're trying to take a picture you're drinking it, and you kept stirring it, and he'd go on, Wasn't ready yet. I know. You weren't ready. Why is he trying to rush you?
Starting point is 01:00:04 It's just like he's like you're in the Taco Bellin boy? Hurry up! One star. I love this food. It was great. But yeah, that was that was the probably the best tasting, most Tahin tasting thing. But even then, as refreshing and fun as that was, it's not enough to save the other things, which are the star of the show, the tacos.
Starting point is 01:00:23 Right, the food. Yeah. So as far as Tahin flavored tacos go, this one gets a little low. like a 39, 39. Michael doesn't even like tahin, but still ate it. Right. I liked it more than I thought I would. Well, because normally if it's like, you know, like a thing and it's got tomatoes, I'll take them off.
Starting point is 01:00:41 Yeah. I don't like to eat. That's it. That's the thing is tahin. I was like, well, I have to eat it. Yeah. And what am I doing here today? That's just, it's just talk about food with this dhine flavor. I was like, oh, that's it. That's what we're getting. Well, I guess I'll eat it. It was not a lot of dust on it, right? Because it's on the food, but then like you said you also get a packet. And so it wasn't a lot. And it doesn't, in my experience, tastes like Taheen because I don't like it.
Starting point is 01:01:10 And I know it's too much for me. And this is, like you said, it was kind of like a limey, like a more lime corinch flavor. Just the lime came through. Yeah. I actually didn't hate it. I was like, well, it was actually not that bad.
Starting point is 01:01:24 So then I also, because I was pleasantly surprised with that, I went for a packet. I wasn't going to try the packet and I put the packet on. I don't love it, but it's not tahin. Like, I don't, and the thing is, it's like, like, labeled like on it. It's like taquin, flavor, whatever.
Starting point is 01:01:38 It looks like, it looks like they made it. And I'm just like, I don't think this is that at all. Like, it's something completely different. It was quite strange. It's just like a Doritos dust. I don't know if it was like, we got like a weird one or something. I think it's just how it was. But that to be said, it's not a bad flavor.
Starting point is 01:01:55 If you're going for a tahin, it's not. Yeah. I mean, it's just not. It just tastes like something completely different. And then on top of that, it really scrapes the barrel of like a food menu item. Right. It's a little packet of seasoning.
Starting point is 01:02:10 That's it. There's no food. There's no, like, I guess the, oh, barely season. The mango would be a thing of like, where was that? Yeah, but I didn't even see it. I didn't see it. It just seemed like regular. Like pico.
Starting point is 01:02:21 Yeah, like regular pica, so whatever. Just extra, extra cold. So I didn't, I didn't, like, if that's the only thing that's actually different, from like a regular taco is it's like some sort of special pico I didn't fucking taste that at all but like you said it's there's just nothing to it and it's like it's not a teen flavor
Starting point is 01:02:38 yeah so I'm gonna say 45 45 but also it's like the New York pizza there's not it but there's nothing to say however that aside much like the ones that reviews regardless of that I mean they were good tacos they were good yeah it's good I ate all the 40 the 40ish it's getting isn't like a reflection on the
Starting point is 01:02:59 food not being good. It's the failure of the tequine. What is this? And it's not what it says and whatever. The tacos, they were real good. If it was a regular taco and a regular cheese good eat a grow. I mean, like, nothing amazing. It's like, it's just, it is what it is. But it's like an 80. It was like 85. Like, it was pretty good taco. That's an average rating of 42,
Starting point is 01:03:15 which I think is fair. I'm actually going to grab these packets and bring them home. Yeah. Because I want to try them and they're not tahin. We got to analyze. The, I don't expect Tahin to make a return next year. It's just So, like, where I see it the most in Austin is on, like, drinks.
Starting point is 01:03:33 Yeah. Oh, definitely. And it's so strong. It's so, like, I did, it'll ruin my drink. I can't have it because I just don't like it. Nick will get it on coffee. I didn't know who's coffee. Okay.
Starting point is 01:03:44 That's Tahin. Yeah. This was not that. I was expecting. I was waiting for that. And then I'm like, oh, this is just like a little dust packet. So. Temper expectation.
Starting point is 01:03:55 I just don't expect for as big and popular as the Doritos thing is. I don't think Tehina is going to make it come back with Taco Bell again. I think this is a one and done. I think they went. Maybe we'll try something else. We'll try a taco thing with this and then it's like, well, never mind. Tough love for the director of alliances.
Starting point is 01:04:08 No, get your packets now if you want them. I'm going to work at Tahin International as the director of enemies. Rivalries. Yeah. Rivalries. That's pretty cool. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:04:20 Who has crossed us. Yeah. I'm director of heated rivalries. Oh. Well. Hockey team. Hockey team. Hockey, nipple, dick, dick.
Starting point is 01:04:28 42, I think is a fitting score. Hey, you want to come see us in New York? It's not a strong menu item. No. No, it's a little. It's just a point. It's nothing. We're usually very inventive.
Starting point is 01:04:39 It's just Taco Bell. We'll be at the Bell House in Brooklyn on September the 3rd. Is it third? It is. You can come to see 100% Eat Live if you bought tickets. But you gotta stop acting like a fucking animal. We're recording an episode tomorrow. And maybe we can talk about this tomorrow. But we're talking about the food. You were in the bathroom. And it's like, we're not looking forward to it.
Starting point is 01:08:21 Well, I'm not. And Eric was just saying it's this, it's a new item and it goes, ooh! And then I'm like, yeah, but it's from this place. You know it's bad. He goes, yeah, you're right.
Starting point is 01:08:33 It was like, but you were just doing. I was asking if it was spicy and he said there is a spicy and he said, ooh. And then what? I don't know what it is, but it's the end of ooh, what did you say?
