I'm a mom and a homeowner, so I feel like I'm always outside using a hose for something.
And I used to go through a new hose every year because of kings and tangles.
I'm definitely not gentle with my hose.
I drag it across the driveway.
around the yard, and I just wanted something that's easy and durable. That's why the pocket hose
ballistic has honestly been such a great upgrade for me. It's super lightweight, easy to manage, and easy to
store. You turn the water on and it grows, and when you turn the water off, it shrinks back down to
pocket size. And I love that it's reinforced with a liquid crystal polymer used in bulletproof vests,
so it feels really tough and long-lasting. For a limited time, when you purchase a new pocket hose

This is Five Live Boxing.
We knew it would be a late night in Saudi Arabia.
We knew it would be a dramatic night in Saudi Arabia.
We knew it would be a memorable night in Saudi Arabia.
Well, it was very late.
It didn't finish.
till 6.35 in the morning.
And as for drama, well, there was even drama
in the Devon Haney fight.
Ban Rodriguez was incredible.
Oh, it was relentless.
It all started with Sam Noakes and Abdullah Mason.
Two unbeaten boxers, the vacant WBO lightweight title.
Mason got it, and it finished with Anthony Yard being stopped,
rescued from his own bravery by the referee in round seven
against David Benavides.
But just results and just names
do not tell the full story.
I'm Steve Bunce.
It's a bit emotional
and this is Five Live Boxing.
So generally after a fight like this
and a night like this
and a venue like this
and after the sort of endings we've had
and the fact that it is
if you don't mind me saying,
so 6.35 in the morning
which is the latest we've ever recorded
a post fight pod.
I usually have Barry Jones
bouncing off the walls.
Well forget Barry Jones.
Forget him.
again because I've got Sergio. I've got Sergio more of bouncing off the walls. You just said to me,
Sergio, I said to you, Sirs, you want to come back to the hotel? We're doing it here. You went,
no, man, don't let the adrenaline go. What a night, and I'm not even sure where to start.
Listen, I know you're going to find out where to start because the adrenaline is what's going to make this spot great.
So yeah, what a night of fights. What a great turnaround for Devin Haney. I expected way more out
of Brian Norman Jr. What a performance by Bam. The only thing better than
getting a knockout, it's pitching a shutout.
And what can you say about the Mexican monster, man?
You know, there's something of deceptive about David Benavides,
because I'm looking at him and I'm thinking,
why isn't Yard doing this?
Why isn't Yard doing that?
Why isn't Yard doing this?
And then I spoke to Yard briefly,
and I don't think, between us,
I don't think Yard realizes what he couldn't do.
Benevides, he's got timing, he's got power,
he's got presence, he's got confidence,
and he just broke down Anthony Yard tonight.
Listen, Anthony Yard,
had the right game plan in mind.
He was trying to intercept and punch in between the long arms of Benavides.
He couldn't compete with the speed of the Mexican monster,
but he could compete with the power.
I actually had a yard having the heavier hands between the two.
But what good is power if you can't land that power?
What good is power if you don't have the speed behind it?
If you don't have the pressure that Benavita, the presence.
I mean, he closes the ground down.
He imposes his will.
And also for a big man, a big tall man,
with long limbs.
He can land shots.
When he's on your chest somehow,
he lands a little shot.
Then he moves just a fraction there,
and he lands a big shot.
I mean, I said deceptive,
and I've got a smile out of the monster.
To be careful.
He has long arms, right?
74-inch reach,
but he can fight on the inside really well.
How does that even possibly work?
That shouldn't even be the case.
He has the same frame of Diego Corolla's.
Tall, he has lean shoulders.
Lean shoulders, long arms,
and they punch real explosive
in a little square in front.
of you. It's very rare thing to do. Most guys have to pull back their punches.
Not him. He just lets them go. He just let him go. Right here, right in front of you.
And once he starts digging into the body, those headshots are bound to, he's, they're bound
to collapse, you know. We'll talk about yard in a second, but for Benavides, that was a statement
tonight. That was, because he made a dangerous fighter look. Average is maybe too strong,
but he broke down and took care of a dangerous fighter comfortably.
No, what's that saying, you know, you need to give a, an exit to a dangerous animal
that's backed up.
Anthony Yard was backed up against the wall.
Several times.
Plenty of times.
Against monsters.
Covalet,
better be it.
Now Benadis.
Anthony Yard was back against the ropes.
He was fighting for death,
but he was just in there
against a better,
stronger, more determined monster in Benavitas.
And then by the time the seventh round,
that was when we thought
that the yard would start letting his hands go.
Because we were thinking maybe he's just conserving
just a little bit.
Just conserving a little bit.
Of course, Benavides doesn't allow you to conserve.
Then in the seventh round,
over in the far corner from where we're standing here.
The ring's completely gone.
There's a whole flurry of activity here.
Over in that far corner,
the yard goes down from five or six shots,
goes down to his just goes down on his knees.
And he gets hit with the last of those shots,
which is, is it late yes?
Is it intentional, maybe not?
Is it illegal, yes.
Was it intentional?
No, I don't think it was an intentional shot from Benavinovino.
I think he was in motion.
But to see that happen to Anthony Yard,
who I saw him against Kovalev fight his heart out.
I saw him take unbelievable punches.
and better be a, okay, he's a couple of years
older, don't get me wrong. But that was shocking.
Monsters only have a certain amount of wars
in them. Anthony Yard...
Anthony Yard got a late start. He only
had a dozen amateur fights. He's already
ahead of the game. He already fought three of the
biggest punchers in the championship level.
I mean, he's ahead of the game.
He's just one of these guys that just
didn't have enough experience. He started too
late. You can make excuses,
but you can't excuse
how brave he is. The courage that he had to
face all the murderers row at Light Heavyweight.
You've got to applaud Yard for that.
Listen, just one second.
I'm going to pull you there for a moment,
so it's because when the fight was over,
I couldn't get up in the ring.
It's an ongoing debate situation
to be discussed another day.
But I did follow both Anthony Yard and Tundi Ajay
from the ring to the medical center.
How are you?
You okay?
I'm fantastic.
A very tough ending,
a very tough ending to the fight.
No, he's a hell of a fighter.
And you expect?
No, no, no, no, no, I knew how he was gonna come.
I knew how he was gonna come.
Um, so when you're in there, he just caught me
with a good shot in my nose when I was that, when I was dipping.
I felt like it was competitive.
It was. Yeah, it was competitive, so I know how he comes, he comes with good pressure,
so I was boxing, boxing, boxing,
thinking minimal rounds, when there's dog rounds, dog for dog,
thinking that, like, we'll exchange or whatever, but what we did exchange,
he's got quick hands he caught me first
hit me with a good shot in my nose
and then that little
when I took a knee
and hit me when I was down
I was a good shot when you were at the hell
I was dizzy after that
so you stuck in there you carried on throwing
fucking in there I'm a fighter
you are a fighter listen you're going to go into the medical tent now
I'm going to leave you listen let me just sell you
well done
Dundee just quickly if I just grab a word with you
I think Benavide is a little bit better
than we may be expected
I think he's deceptive with his punches.
Not really. We were expecting that.
We were expected the punches in bunches.
The main thing was to try and keep boxing him, keep catching him, coming him.
But we saw why so many people don't want to fight him.
Yeah.
You know, people who have turned him down.
But again, Ant chose the path of greatness.
And, you know, it's just one of those things.
We're all upset, but it is what it is.
Were you expecting Anthony, let his hands go in the later rounds?
Was that half the plan?
Because it looked like he was holding back.
Strange expression, but holding back.
I mean, is that a fair assessment?
Yeah, definitely, because I think it was around five.
I said, you know what you're doing?
He said, yeah, I know what I'm doing.
So, you know, the plan was to come on strong later on in the fight.
But, you know, sometimes the best lay plans don't go to plan.
So it's just one of those things, Steve.
So that was Anthony Yard there, basically shrugging his shoulders.
I think he was still in shock, if you don't mind me, Santh.
Tandiyajaya, the trainer was a bit more broken-hearted.
And then, I worked tonight, Sir, I know you were working non-stop, but I worked as well.
Then, if that wasn't enough, I waited patiently at ringside for the monster to come out,
the Mexican monster, El Monsero, I've invented the word, I don't care if it's Mexican.
Monstro, Monstro.
Oh, Monstro.
I'm waiting at the bottom of the steps through El Monstro to speak to Denevides.
And like most guys that are devastating in the ring, outside the ring, they almost stand to attention and they're really polite.
Here I am talking to Benavides.
That's exactly what I expected.
You know what I mean?
I knew he was going to give me a hard fight.
I wanted to box him in a little bit
to break him down. I started breaking him down. He hit me with a good
shot. I said, all right, let's go for it. You know what I mean?
He gave me a little cut in that, you know,
that it gave me another explosion
of energy, so I was like,
all right, let's push it up a little bit. I dropped
them. They took the point away.
They took two points. I don't know how they have the
fight scores, so, you know, I better take advantage
now that he's hurt, and we stopped him.
You know what you are? You're an incredibly deceptive fighter.
It looks like you're not doing very much,
then suddenly you really hurt people.
Where does that power and strength come from, David?
It just comes from my, just who I am, who I am as a fighter, you know.
I don't look like a strong fighter, you know, as everybody likes to point out,
well, not getting in there, I'm a hell of a fighter.
I can do everything in there, so.
David, thanks very much for your time.
Really appreciate it.
Thanks, Brendan.
So that was David Benavides there.
Even David Benavita's admitted that he doesn't look like much of a fighter,
but when I'm in there, I can do it.
Stacey, that is one calm and calculator.
in El Monsero.
He was honest enough at the end there, David.
He realized he says most people look at me
and they don't think I've got the power.
Well, that's the mistake people make
with David Benavides.
And you'd like to see that humble side of Benavides
because if you're going to be the next star in line
to take the place of Canelo,
you've got to have more than just punching power,
you've got to have more than just the fear
that you instill in opponents.
You've got to have charisma.
You've got to have humility.
You've got to have likability.
David Benavis is bringing a little bit of all that
because he's next in line
be the next pay-per-view store in boxing.
You know what? I was holding back.
I mean, listen, I like him, and I've liked what he did at Super Middle,
and I like the two 12-rounders that light heavy way.
But I was kind of holding back on taking that jump that you just made there.
But now I've got no problem taking it.
I think he can have some real fun at the moment.
I think we're going to have four or five really good Benavides' nights over the next two years.
And I hope they're inside mile because I want to be ringside for them.
because what we saw tonight was I saw a guy break down Anthony Yard.
I thought Benavides would win.
Don't get me wrong.
I thought he might get to Yard later.
But I didn't have that fight in my head.
That wasn't a bit like the Devon Haney Brian Norman one.
I didn't have Haney dropping him heavy.
No.
And I didn't have Benavides doing that job when he did it.
I thought he might do it later on.
He made it look.
I hate to say that.
He looked simple tonight, Benavides.
He schooled them.
Yeah, which is, I didn't think we'd be having this conversation at quarter to seven in the morning.
Bam Rodriguez took Martinez to school.
Benevides took Yard to school.
The Noakes fight, that's fight of the year.
I mean, the credit, the credit of Mason and Noakes, that probably stole the show tonight.
I'm glad it opened up that way.
I want to see that fight again.
I hope both men get rewarded because that was a battle of attrition and incredible fight.
Better fight than I expected.
And what can you say, man, the performance of the night, what is it?
Devin Haney or Bam Rodriguez are you?
Oh, that's just interesting because the natural way is to go with Devin Haney
because there was a knockdown and it was a shock because a lot of people fancied
the other guy who would win.
Whereas I think we all thought Bam would win.
But then he does a thing, Van, where he beats good guys and he beats them in such style
that perhaps we overlooked the way he did it and the nature of the win.
So you're probably right.
I mean, yeah, you're probably right.
So the performance of the night was once again, Ban Rodriguez.
Eddie Hearn talks about him, says,
look, you know, why can't he be with these four or five top guys
at the top of this lovely, luscious pound-for-pound list that we have?
And when you see a performance like that tonight,
which was close to flawless, wasn't it?
It was flawless.
He pitched a shutout.
Yeah, not only did he pitch a shutout, but he still got the knockout.
He put the cherry on top.
That's a A-plus-plus performance.
You can't do better than that.
You can get a first-round knockout.
Yes, it's good.
but you don't get no rounds in.
You can pitch a shutout and get 12 rounds in the bank,
but you didn't get the knockout.
He did both.
That was flawless.
That was impeccable.
That was infallible.
Give me another word for perfect, Steve.
Genius, masterclass, whatever.
You know what I love.
I'm going to whisper this.
Sometimes when you do the post-fight pod, okay,
everyone's a bit excitable, all right?
But Sergio, us two together,
it might be a dangerous combination for excitement
at quarter to seven in the morning.
That's what I told you.
We got to let it fly.
We got to let it fly.
So I want to take it back if I can.
I want to take it back to the show to open it up,
which seems like forever ago.
WBO, lightweight title, vacant title,
the 21-year-old kid, Abdullah Mason,
one of the nicest fellas in the world.
I interviewed him, and his mother thanked me for interviewing him.
No, that's never happened in all my years.
I've never had a mother come up to me after to say,
thanks very much for talking to Abdul.
I could see really enjoyed.
I've never had that.
So that put me, that shook me a little bit.
And I saw Sam Noakes go back to the call.
after about two rounds.
We have a really odd look on his face.
It was like,
this kid's as good as they've been telling me he is.
And then I saw Abdullah Mason go back to his corner
after about seven or eight rounds,
and the look on his face said,
this kid's as strong as they told me he was.
So somewhere the cocktail mix in the middle
with those two sort of looks I saw on faces
was, as you say, a potential fight of the year.
Sam Noakes, if you're listening,
keep your head up.
You made more fans in defeat
than any other person that's ever been in,
that type of war of attrition.
That was an incredible fight, a fight of a year worthy fight,
and he did it against the youngest champion in boxing.
A precocious, gifted, talented, mean guy in Abdullah Mason.
There's nothing, nothing to take away from that performance.
It's just there has to be someone who doesn't win,
because I'm not going to call a loser, Mason loser.
He just didn't win tonight.
Can you remember the fight that you had where it suddenly was so much harder
than you'd ever had previously?
suddenly you're in round 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9
and you're exhausted
and the fight's unbelievably hard
and you're going to places you've never been before.
Can you remember the fight that you had like that?
That's what happened to those two tonight.
They both went to places.
They might have believed in sparring they've done it.
They might have believed they could do it
and they maybe had glimps of it,
but they actually went there tonight.
Not for one round, but I would argue eight of the 12,
if you don't mind me saying so.
Can you remember, was there a moment in your career, Sergio?
You suddenly went, oh wow.
This is what they're talking about.
This is grim.
I would love to be, you know, stroke my own ego and say, yes, this fight, but no, I was too defensive-minded.
I didn't want to get engaged in war.
I didn't want to get hit.
We get wars.
I didn't want to bleed.
I don't want to put my line on the line, my neck on the line like that.
Hey, you can call me what you want.
I'm not.
About being sensible.
Whatever.
I wanted to get out with my safety and I was proud of my defense.
I don't want to get hit.
I didn't want to go to war like.
that. My trainer always told me, you take a good punch, Sergio, but why do you need to get
punched to make people happy? I'd rather you make people miss completely. I made a career
doing that, and that's why I'm talking here with all my marbles for not getting hit like that.
A trend in the marbles is a girl who is me. Anyway, afterwards, Sam Noakes was in getting his eye,
which is a really nasty, I'd like to have an update on the stitches in that. But I spoke to his manager
Francis Warren, who was outside the room. Here's Francis with me afterwards.
Listen, Samnokes went in there tonight and proved he belongs at, you know, elite world level.
No hesitation putting him in with any of the top guys at all after that performance.
Did himself and his family and everybody associated with him proud.
You know, it was just was just so close.
Every round was tight.
Every round was very tight.
In a bad cut in the first couple of rounds, which was from a clash of heads.
Third round.
Which it was from a clash of heads, video replays and showed that.
So, you know, if but some, you know, if but some, you know, if but some.
maybe he's a side. The fact of the matter is
he's done himself proud. Congratulations
to Adela Mason. Listen
It's a great rematch down the line
you know Sam will go away, regrouped, definitely
heal up because he's a bit bashed up.
But look, if it weren't for the clash
aheads, who knows? One 15, one to the
team, you know, you can't argue with it and I don't
think the other side would have argued
if Sam had nicked it either.
It was a terrific fight.
You know, Sam looked like, you know, Modulae Archeri
Gatti in there tonight. He did.
You know, Chilberto, Mendoza
from the WBA came up to me and said he's getting ranked.
Gustavo Olivier had come up to me and said he'd get another chance.
Turkey loved it.
My old man's proud of him.
I'm proud of him.
Commeretti said he didn't know he had it in his locker.
He just tested head dead star prospects all the way.
Listen, a new star is born tonight.
Although he's not got the result,
I think, you know, Sanloch's star is risen dramatically.
And I think we've got a new star of boxing in the UK.
Both of them went where they'd never been before.
I mean, it was obvious.
It was taken out of both of them.
And they just both willingly went there.
I mean, they were both absolutely exhausted by the end of it,
but both still trying to take each other's heads off.
I mean, if they'd let their shots go like that in the 12th round,
they were thrown in the 12th round in the first round,
I don't think would have seen round three.
So, listen, credit to both guys.
This is sport.
It's got to be winner and a loser.
Unfortunately, we're on a bad side of it tonight.
But I'm immensely proud of my mate Sam,
who went in there tonight and did it himself.
his country and everybody associated with him proud.
I'm very, very, very, I'm gutted, obviously.
You know, we don't like losing.
And, you know, this is a written pill to swallow.
Don't get me wrong.
We wanted to go on with that belt.
And if it was based on effort alone,
he would have a belt around his waist.
But unfortunately, it went to the scorecards
and, you know, the judges felt the other guy did enough
and that sport.
Francis quite rightly talking there, Sergio,
about let's do it again.
You know, I don't, and he used the same expression as you.
I don't think he lost a night.
I don't think, he wasn't talking about the decision.
He said, I'm not treating that like a defeat.
That was just brilliant.
And let's do it again.
There's no losers like that.
It's like Godi Ward.
It's like Godi Ward.
There's no losers.
We got a trilogy for the ages.
But of course, there was one man that won more fights, two fights out of the three.
Doesn't matter.
People don't care.
They won the hearts of people.
They won the hearts of fans.
And that would forever be one of the greatest trilogies because they shed blood.
It was an incredible story.
Maybe these guys are going to be doing something special if they do it again.
And the thing is with Abdulah Dlamason,
because he's 21 and because, you know, he'd be beating the guys he was meant to beat.
Let's get that right.
So I think he probably answered some of those questions that people were wondering what would happen
if he was in a dog fight with someone that was naturally and physically stronger.
So he answered all those questions and Sam Nokes answered all those questions.
That's a great fight when both unbeaten guys can answer every question that's out there.
And that's the reason I hate that there's a person that.
didn't win. I refuse to say the L word. I'm not going to say the L word. There was just someone that
didn't win, all right, but both guys should leave with their head up because there's a bright
future for both young men and Noakes will return. Yeah, Nox will return because, I mean, I know that
I know that he's fine, it's just got a few stitches, that's not a problem. So we've dealt with
yard, we've dealt with, we've dealt with Noakes, we've dealt with Abdullah Mason, we've dealt with
David Benavides. Let's get on to you now. Where are you going next? I mean, I mean, I mean,
I got to catch a flight.
No, no, apart from catching a fly.
Where are you going to?
Because I'm going to Miami.
I'm going to Monaco.
This year's been...
Are you complaining?
No, I'm not.
I never complain.
Me neither.
I'm going from Saudi Arabia.
I'll probably be in Arizona.
We're going to be in Texas, California.
We're going to go all over the place.
We're going to be doing New York.
I think Shakur Stevenson is going to end up in New York.
Oh, that's next year.
Are you coming back to Saudi Arabia over the Christmas for the...
No.
I'll be here in February.
So you'll be here in February.
That would be, that might be Anthony Joshua.
Assuming he comes through the Jake Paul fight unscathed.
Oh, come on.
I'm keeping a straight face.
I'm trying to be, I'm trying to.
After he annihilates that Disney Star,
what we're going to be back here at the kingdom for Anthony Joshua.
You know it and I know it.
Yeah, of course, of course, I know it and you know it, and it will happen.
I'm not doing a review of the year, but it's been some year, hasn't it?
We on this side of the ropes, sitting sometimes on the apron
and sometimes just six feet back.
What a year we've had this year.
I thought last year was good.
The year before was good.
The year before.
This has been sensational.
And we get paid for it.
Can you believe it?
And we get paid and we get looked after.
I mean, you've got a guy over there waiting to take you for your taxi.
Okay.
I've got a guy here waiting to take me for my taxi.
It's the middle of the night.
We're going to get up.
It's the morning.
It's not even the middle of the morning.
It's late morning.
The sun's up right now.
We're going to go.
We're going to get on planes tomorrow.
We're going to relax on planes.
We're going to wake up, go back to our loved ones,
and in about 24 hours' time, you're going to go,
did that really happen?
Was I really making a pod for the BBC at 6.45 in the morning?
6.50 in the morning?
And I can't wait to return to the kingdom,
and I can't wait to be on BBC with you again.
Listen, Sergio, it's been an absolute pleasure having you on this week,
and I really mean that, my friend.
And you know why else?
Because I'm going to take over Barry Jones's job.
You heard that, Barry?
You heard that Barry?
I'm coming after your job, too, buddy.
You know, he called me.
He went, so he said, he made out he hadn't heard the pot.
He said, he said, Sergeant, do a good job.
I said, oh, tear what, bow.
I said he was absolutely brilliant.
I said, he got it from the star.
He said, I delayed it all on.
He went, okay, not too much.
Don't do too much.
Not too much.
This is Serge, it's been an absolute pleasure and a delight.
Thank you.
This is Five Life Boxing.
So it's now 707.
Sergio's just got in his taxi inside, and it drove through
the door and outside for the first time ever there is blazing sunshine and it's not just the start of the
sun it's full sun it's it's up above most of the buildings it's that late i've never known a night
of boxing end this late the sun is well and truly up the stars are gone now we came here
ryan and i about 9 30 10 o'clock last night that was four world titles ago every single
one of those fights had something.
And then the adrenaline kicked in, and I got Sergio Mora to work with me,
and it was an adrenaline-fueled pod.
So if you're used to maybe more, slightly more measured pods, okay,
I do fully apologise because this one isn't measured.
That was about 10 minutes ago or 15 minutes ago that we finished.
So just to recap what we went through,
the first world title fight was Abdullah Mason.
He won on points against Sam Noakes from Maidstone.
and that was for the vacant WBO lightweight title.
Sam Noakes has gone off to hospital.
He had an awful cut and also to get his jaw x-rayed,
suspected broken jaw.
I'm not at all surprised.
It was that type of fight.
And then we had the three world titles up for grabs at Super Flyweight,
the Argentinian Fernando Martinez,
who was such a star last week
because he was getting in the face of Jesse Ban Rodriguez.
But it doesn't matter about getting in the face of Jesse Ban Rodriguez
on the safe side of the ropes in the ring.
He's impeccable. He's flawless. He's one of the top three or four fighters in the world. He won that in the 10th.
And then the kind of shock of the night, I suppose, Devin Haney challenging the WBO World War II title against Brian Norman.
Brian Norman was unbeaten. But he was also untested. I'd seen him in March in Las Vegas.
And he didn't really impress me. I'm not being an after time. I talked about that on the pod earlier this week.
Anyway, Haney dropped him, I think, in the second round. It went the full 12. It went the full 12.
he won the title. That was against
the run of play. And then it was
Anthony Yard in his third world title
fight. The first two, as Sergio was
saying there, and Sergio was really giving
Anthony Yard some unbelievable
credit. The first two were
really hard fights. One of
them took place on the edges of
Siberia and Russia. He lost
that one in a place called Cheleabinsk where the river
runs through the city and that
devised Russia from Siberia. Well,
that's what I was told at the time.
Hey-ho, maybe I'm wrong, who knows.
the second world trial of fight was against arthur perturbi who was probably the top world
top light heavyweight in the world at that time anyway he didn't work tonight for um or last
night and it was this morning i guess it didn't work two hours ago or 90 minutes ago for
hentine a yard and he was stopped in the seventh i managed to grab some time with him and tundi
as they were going to the medical room i had to walk with them because we couldn't get up in the ring
but about five six minutes ago just as i was walking out here into this
sunshine. I've had to take my jacket off. It's that hot. I saw a yard leaving with all of
his loved ones. And it was that moment sometimes you get when you see boxes at the end of a night,
especially losers where they're looking in the mirror, they're just making sure their hair's
okay. And they're just checking for bruises. They're checking for stitches if they've had them.
They're checking for cuts if they've picked them up and abrasions. And they're just checking,
but they're also looking and they're thinking, you know, I'm still here. And there were a couple of
babies in the room and
partners were in the room and
Tundi Ajaya the trainer had left and it was a
real touching moment
and I said to Ryan you know what
Ryan we could grab yard again
but I don't think I'd do him even if
he said he was prepared to
we've got yard let him have his private time
with his family and let him leave
because on nights like this
they have to end even if they just keep on
going and going and going
so at 7-Eleven
I will say good
morning, I guess. Coming up, of course, don't worry. We'll be in Monaco. Some great fights on that
bill and we'll be in Miami. Don't throw eggs in me. I said Miami for Jake Paul and Anthony Joshua.
Next Saturday, incidentally, live on BBC 2 at 8 o'clock, big time boxing returns after 25 years,
and it's Jamie TKV fighting Fraser Clark for the vacant British heavyweight title. Alternatively,
that's in Derby, if you fancy, see him Ben Whitaker. He's on,
a DeZone show promoted by Eddie Hearn at the NEC.
You see, we do it for everybody.
We do it for absolutely anybody.
I've been Steve Bunce.
This has been another, well, nearly a week in Riyadh.
Thanks for being with us all week.
Thanks for downloading the pods.
Thanks for putting up with this absolutely ridiculous end of night pod.
I'm not sure whether to go out, sit by the pool, get a coffee, not get a coffee,
have a sauna or go to bed.
You know what? Perhaps I've done all of them.
I've been Steve Bunce and this is Five Live Boxing.
Welcome to Terlenders.
I'm Greg James. He's Felix White.
Hello.
And that is England's greatest ever bowler, Jimmy Anderson.
Hello.
We've finally got our break on BBC High Play.
It's lovely to be here.
England haven't won a test match in Australia since the 2010-2011 series,
which is a long time ago.
Give us a few reasons as to why it's so difficult.
The wickets are different, the ball's different and the heat as well.
The media coverage over there is.
It's so much bigger than a test series in England, for example.
And cricket over there is huge.
Plus, Australia are amazing in their own country.
Tail Enders.
Watch on eye player.
Listen on BBC Sounds.
