This is 99% Invisible. I'm Roman Mars. 99% Invisible is a radio show and podcast about design, architecture, and all the thought that goes into things most people don't even bother thinking about. Through the generous support of our listeners, this, that started as a side project I made in my bedroom at night has become one of the most popular podcasts in the world. And I think the thing I'm most proud of is that the new episodes are getting better and better. Thanks largely to the addition of our producer Sam Greenspan, who your generosity allowed me to hire. Season 3 brought you stories about the radio broadcast clock. You can wake us up in the middle of the night and we can be like 59-528-1228-1228 like 748.

The epic reversal of the Chicago River. You gotta see this. You know, this town is amazing and they'll do anything to survive.
