Starting point is 00:00:00 It's time, everybody. Happy Tuesday. I don't want to be sad, but it's the last episode of season two. But let's enjoy it. We've got, hopefully, if G and Zoe allow, we've got an hour of some good chit chat to last you until we come back. 50 minutes.
Starting point is 00:00:28 50 minutes, OK, I'll agree. to that. How are we all? Hope we're fabulous and you're not going to miss us too much. We're going to really miss you. We're quite emotional today but we're also feeling really happy. I'm so emotional. I can't put it into words. She just looks to me like no I'm really not emotional. She couldn't care guys. No I do care. I do care. But do you know what? Giving us a break means to come back bigger, better, stronger, faster. And ever before. And more gorgeous. I hope. We have said, I said this inside a few podcasts ago that we are going to back bigger and better than ever. We've got so many ideas.
Starting point is 00:01:02 We've got so many exciting things coming up that we really are desperate to share with you, but we can't. And we just hope all of our dreams come true. Obviously, you could not take a wild guess and know what we're talking about, do you know what I mean? Maybe. Maybe. It's just so out of this world. No one's ever mentioned it before.
Starting point is 00:01:18 Shut up. It's going to be a big surprise and you're going to be so excited. So, as you've probably been made aware, Richard and Jason are not on today's episodes yeah they shatter it and what's funny
Starting point is 00:01:32 is we had a severe plot twist we had a plot twist we had a plot twist Jason was quite up for the situation up for the challenge up for the moment
Starting point is 00:01:40 claim to fame situation but Richard was not it was absolutely not no what is an excuse I think I just caught him off God you know what he's like
Starting point is 00:01:48 he has he's very up and down and he was like no I'm not coming on it I don't want to come on your podcast why not I don't want to but I know him very well and he will be on this podcast
Starting point is 00:01:57 in season 3 We've just got to convince him a bit. I actually said you need to text him. We do a podcast. We've done like six episodes together. I know. That was like a very much like I'm just in an annoying mood and I don't want to give you pleasure of me coming on your podcast.
Starting point is 00:02:15 Yes. Absolutely. And annoyingly when we did, we asked you guys what you wanted to see from us in season three. So many of you said get Richard and Jason on. And I'm like, right. And I showed him. I was like, look, even somebody here said they wanted you on to talk about football
Starting point is 00:02:30 and he was like, good, good for them. But he's just in an awkward face. He is. But it will happen, I promise you. But yeah, Jason will thrive. Well, you spent a bit of time with him over the past couple of days, right? I did. So he knew him, but you also know him much better now.
Starting point is 00:02:47 Yes. So that makes sense of why he would want to come on it just because it is Jason's world, we all live in. I've said that many times before. We just went down to Manchester and we'll talk about that in a bit, but my friend, my best friend Holly came down and she obviously met Jason
Starting point is 00:03:02 and she just kept saying over and over like I am so shocked as Zoe I thought you'd go out with a gimp and she was like which baffles me so much and he's actually good looking I was like what the fuck would you expect Zoe to go out with and she was like I just thought he'd be like yes sir no sir kind of guy I was like oh no no no
Starting point is 00:03:19 Jason is not that he is well we're born on the same day so we can imagine we're very very loud characters But I also just I'm like I feel I'm the last person Anyone else would say would go out with a gimp I just think it's maybe You're your, she probably didn't mean it in that sense
Starting point is 00:03:36 But maybe it quite mellow I've actually asked her shunson And I said Holly what I need to ask you as What made you think I would go out with a gimp Because you couldn't be more wrong And I'm actually quite upset about the situation And she said It could possibly be the jammy chat
Starting point is 00:03:52 Which I just said right fair fox because he does wear jammies and he likes quite, you know, a theme jammies. But that's like a, that's a different persona at that time of night, do you know what I mean? Some people are probably having like severe hot sex and we're in a jammies, but that's fine. Everyone does it different.
Starting point is 00:04:13 But that actually said that probably swayed our thoughts, which, do you know what? Fair enough. And at least I said it's just a learning process. We're learning things with each other more every day. We had some laugh. Very, very funny man.
Starting point is 00:04:26 He's just so some guy. We'll leave it at that. But anyway, so yeah, they're not on the podcast and we're going to hopefully get them on in season three. Yeah, that's in the plan. So, let's talk about what's been a lot on our plate, shall we? Yep, you take it away. You ask me?
Starting point is 00:04:43 Oh, I'll ask you. Right, I'll ask you, ready? Ready? What's been a lot on your plate, Jess? What, physically or emotionally? Emotionally. Hmm. Had a little bit of a hangover yesterday from our weekend.
Starting point is 00:04:55 but I'm going to New York tomorrow which I think I've said I've got, I packed and I'm leaving at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning from Edinburgh because you can only fly from Mediburra now to anywhere in the world. Wait, fully packed? Not my toiletries but pretty much.
Starting point is 00:05:11 Yeah? I know you're going at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning but that is quite organised. It is, isn't it? Yeah. But it had to be. I've also got some work of it's to do when I get back. Yeah, get ready to go in the morning.
Starting point is 00:05:21 So not really a lot emotionally going on. It's bloody boy. And I never thought I'd be that person where I would say, I'm too hot, but I am hot. Do you know what it is, though? There's no fresh air going on. Stuffy. It's kind of like stormy hot.
Starting point is 00:05:36 Like it's quite a concerning heat. Yeah. Very global warming. Mm. And it's different when you're here because there's no pool to jump in. It's just too much. But something I would recommend is,
Starting point is 00:05:46 and you're just paying for the ease of this, the heavy and water and the spray. I know, but you are literally paying for water in spray bottle. I know, but it's... I've had that. for months and it's still cool yeah like freezing cold and the wee tin I would recommend that cool you down you know freshen up and what's been on your plate physically oh let me have a little thing you know what I've been eating really well
Starting point is 00:06:10 this last week I was eating very good I think I told you this well as in healthier well as in like good oh well both healthy and good good food and you know what within three or four days I honestly was seeing the the change because I had that lymphatic drainage massage, which, by the way, was excellent. We could talk a little bit more about that next season. But I've booked him for another two now because I loved it that much. And it was a lot more about, I was just talking to a lot about IBS and all that. And she strongly believes that IBS is just basically just something that the doctor just diagnosed you with.
Starting point is 00:06:43 But she just says it's all about your gut health. And she said I was quite inflamed, especially around the collarbones. She can check people, like, gut issues and stuff around this area. I don't think I've seen my collarbones for quite a number of years. Yeah, same. but she was amazing and Zoe she gave us gave me sorry an amazing probiotic that you need to take for these farts honestly Jay she were in the car with Jason and we were talking about she kept all she kept saying was I got a trapwind and I
Starting point is 00:07:15 said you need to get no I had the sorest stomach the whole journey down and even even if the wind would be ready to be passed I would never do that in a car of people just never ever ever because you would gas and everyone would die instantly but even at that like it wasn't ready to come anyway so I just sat with a big swollen belly the whole time
Starting point is 00:07:37 and I was like why did I not have anything to help this honestly you just need to start either just go and speak to this person because she was brilliant but this pro bata I've been taking a hand on heart I've had wonderful poos and I've had wonderful non-bloodedness since.
Starting point is 00:07:54 So I just thought when I had this, I put good food back into my body apart from when we had a Burger King and McDonald's on whenever that it was Sunday. Well, it was within 24 hours of each other. But to be fair, we did only get a burger from Burger King. We did get chips. Can I just say to not be foul,
Starting point is 00:08:12 but then I started getting really bad stomach straight after. I did. Yeah, well, it's not good food, is it? No. It's not healthy. So, yeah, so back to what I've been on my plate, I've been having, I ordered gusto, actually, not an ad. I thought, you know what, I'm done with Hello Fresh.
Starting point is 00:08:28 And I thought, I actually ordered something off, look fantastic. And you know when you go to the checkout, they give you the free digital magazine and none of it's free. But it's all like, you get a free gusto box. And I thought, oh, you know what? I see everyone's talking about this. I'll just give it a go. I'm pretty certain I tried it a few years back, actually. But anyway, it was a free box.
Starting point is 00:08:47 Five meals for two people. Everyone should just do it. Even if you just do it the once. Mm-hmm. Why not? So I did it. And yeah, I've been having it and ghost over the past week because I knew I had a busy week coming up. And I've really enjoyed it. And I ordered one just there for Richard for this week when I'm away in New York. And it arrived today. And I think that box was like 35 pounds. Got three boxes with like discount for the next three. And then I'll probably stop it. Yeah, but as it'll be easy way to get your mules into it. Yeah. Just a lot of food for very little money. And I go to the shop every night and I'll probably spend about 20, 30 quid on bollocks. I do. Anyway, enough about me.
Starting point is 00:09:26 What's been a lot on your plate, physically? Physically, I wasn't prepared for this question. I can't think of one thing I've had to eat recently. No, we actually should talk about the things from Burger King that we did actually get. Oh, they were nice. The Doritos chips things. Chili Doritos, chicken chips? Chicken fries, sorry.
Starting point is 00:09:48 Chicken fries, but they were coated in chili heat we have. Doritos so that's what it was they were nice really nice spicy though yeah a bit spicy but I did enjoy them and apart from that honestly quite a lot of barbecues in the past wee while because the weather yeah and I'm into that quite into a barbecue pecky teas pecky teas with a few people mention that as well but I like do you know what I like at a barbecue and you've also got like I know this is probably quite common but like you've got the salads and the coleslaw and maybe like a pasta salad and a baked potato so
Starting point is 00:10:21 So you don't actually need to be bad. No. You got meat as well, grilled meats. Mm-hmm. A chicken skewer with some peppers and onions. Stunning. Love that. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:10:32 Anyway, that's been an awesome. My plate physically and... So what's been on it emotionally? Will we move on to listeners questions now? No, we've not moving on to listeners questions. I want to know what's been on your plate emotionally, Zoe. Not a single thing. I'm sure that a lot of you can tell there's a buildup here,
Starting point is 00:10:47 like we're desperate to know because she's got some news. come on tell everyone I'm nervous come on we need to pull the bicycle first yes god it's because people are going to think you bloody up the doff never
Starting point is 00:11:00 don't be stupid right it's something to celebrate and we're excited and it's a great way to end season two because we had a lot of questions right when we asked you guys what you want to know what we should round upon
Starting point is 00:11:15 and you know the episode I did on influencing and my career a lot of you want to know about little zozzos. And, I mean, we can absolutely still do that, but things are changing. Cheers, me, Des. I've got more in mine than you. Well, I've got a wine glass
Starting point is 00:11:36 because Jess doesn't have two matching glasses in case that shocks anyone. So I've got Prosecone on a wine glass, so that's perfect. You're pissing everyone off now. It's a suspense, and let's see if I was listening, I'd be like, just where I can get to the person. point, so I'm just going to do that to everyone else. Anyway, my news is, I just know you're going to say I'm not being
Starting point is 00:11:56 enthusiastic enough about this. I'm up. My news is that I've handed my notes in at work. Woo, boss bitch! And she is going to fun employed. She is going to be unemployed. She's out there in a big bad world all on her own. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:12:11 And it's been a long time coming. We've been desperate to tell you. It's happening. And it's a big brave move and I'm really proud of you, Zos. Should we talk about what you're going to do? Yeah, if you want. I love how awkward she gets I've just not really came up with my tagline yet
Starting point is 00:12:25 do you know what I mean? Yeah when people ask me what I'm going to be doing I'm not prepared Anyway I'll just be doing I'm like really engaged like You know like that meme That boy sat at the edge of their sofa And everyone's opening presents at Christmas
Starting point is 00:12:38 And I'm like really proud mom No it's not like to be fox at the end of the bed or something As you Anyway I'm going to be doing Influencer Management Yeah Mamager And social media
Starting point is 00:12:49 management. What be called, please? Quinn management. Woo! Follow her on Instagram. And I know it's not like a massive creative name, right? But you know what I do think? I like my name. I do. It's number one.
Starting point is 00:13:02 Number two, it kind of just gets the job done right with the name thing. And number three, I'm not into all these fancy names that like are just a random word. And also I was trying to think of like my favourite things, right? So I was thinking about like my favourite colour is green. Yes. And I was like, Verdi's quite nice, already exists.
Starting point is 00:13:21 Oh, does it? What, as an influence of management? Yeah, well, there was something, and I was like, right, well, that's ticked off. Yeah. And then I was thinking, obviously, I love pigs, and we always talk about it, right? And I was like, some, like, oink, kind of cute, but not for me. Yeah, maybe not oink. But you know what I mean, though?
Starting point is 00:13:36 I was trying to think of. That would be really good for a foodie, like, influence management. Yeah. Yeah. But anyway, so I just thought, Quinn Management. I've had the email for a while, so I just thought, let's just stick with it. I can always read that in a line. It sounds like that New York law firm.
Starting point is 00:13:48 It does. It's just professional. Yeah. Classic. You're going to be doing influencer and social media managing. Zoe's been my manager now for nearly a year. Coming up to, is it nearly a year? Yeah, it's nearly a year.
Starting point is 00:14:01 And it's like, it's been common knowledge, shall we say, but it hasn't been really fully set up your side. So it's just been, Zoe's been helping me out here and there. So, yeah, so I can vouch for Zoe being a fantastic manager and she's transformed my career in the past. year. I'm quite strict, shall we say. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:21 But nicely. That's what you need. Yeah. Especially someone like yourself. Exactly. So she sorted me out a treat. We work very well together. We also are best friends and sisters and we have a fucking podcast together.
Starting point is 00:14:33 So we, yeah, we were each of us next all the time. We're going to be closer than ever before, Jess. I bloody hope so. And that means we can actually be unemployed together and actually go to an office. I want to go to an office and work together. Office space. Nice cafes. And you know what, she'll be hopefully in a better mood on the podcast
Starting point is 00:14:50 She won't be walking in like she's been dragged full fucking edge backwards Mowning about a day at work And I've got to do, you know, pump her up No, well what we can do is not record in the evenings all the time Yes, day times She's buzzing about that Look, we're up, we've done a workout We're fuelled with healthy food
Starting point is 00:15:06 That can be made at home And not have to be prepared As we record Rather than drinking wine I mean that sounds boring Jee but you know what We'll go with that for that would be gorgeous We've just got so many ideas haven't we, the things we want to do, but it's been hard
Starting point is 00:15:19 because Zoe's been juggling so many things behind the scenes. Well, we all have actually, to be fair, and Graham's been working hard with his new projects. So we need this break coming up, so Zoe can settle into a new way of life, go on holiday, enjoy yourself. Gene's got the
Starting point is 00:15:35 gym to sort out. I'm just fanny and about, as always. Do fuck all, what does you. Kevin on, you'll be in that office, let me tell you. I will. To get 11 to make? I will. so I yeah we've got so many ideas and things we want to do but it's been really difficult I know we talk about this on the podcast but a lot of people don't really understand what goes on
Starting point is 00:15:56 behind the scenes with the podcast um me and Zoe you know we at this current moment we don't make money from this podcast we do do out of the love of our hearts the goodness of our hearts we do genuinely love it all you lot you may have seen that we now have a few um ads on the podcast. I noticed a few today. I did notice that... There was three. There was, they weren't on Apple for some reason but they were on Spotify.
Starting point is 00:16:22 Were they? I don't know. Something happened. So these are automatic ads. We didn't really know how it works. She's the boss man with that. But yeah. And this is, when you hear that on podcast, it's a really good sign. So it's just great for us and hopefully that means, you know, we're doing well. One day we will earn a bit of money because, you know,
Starting point is 00:16:38 we never ever started it for that, to be honest with you, but it would be nice. because we does take up a lot of our time and your support means a lot, so... Yeah, but it also means we can do more, like get bigger guests. Exactly. Yeah, because if you want to be...
Starting point is 00:16:51 In real life situations, if you know what I'm saying. Yes. It's out there if anybody is listening to a podcast and you work for a PR company or you have a company or you want to sponsor us. Think of us because we have some fantastic podpigs out there
Starting point is 00:17:04 and they're very supportive, aren't they? Or if you want to use my business, to elevate your own. Yes. Hit me up, bitches. So, yeah, if you've got an Instagram that you don't, You know, you're probably a bit of a, not very tech savvy. You don't know how to revamp your Instagram or you need a bit of social help
Starting point is 00:17:19 or some influence at outreaching. Zoe is your girl. And if you are also in the foodie influencing world, which I know people think of influences as like fashion, but there's a lot of foodie influence out there that probably want a bit of support. And you've got all the contacts, all my contacts. So hit Zoe up if you want a bit of support. And I'm not do her face all the time.
Starting point is 00:17:40 Because she's fucking mine. But you can have to have. however I'll allow you to have. I can be quite positive when the time's right. That helps. Yeah. So yeah, we're looking forward to it.
Starting point is 00:17:49 Bigger and better and we may have something coming up at the end of the year. Oh, little fastest finger first. And we'll tell you about that hopefully soon. Exciting. So yeah, keep supporting those, keep rating.
Starting point is 00:17:59 You need to rate. You need to share the podcast. You need to go on that little fucking Apple podcast thing and write a little review. Please, we'd love that. Five stars only else don't bother. Follow us on Instagram.
Starting point is 00:18:11 That also helps us. think and maybe we will return the favour by giving you a certain extra episode each week in season three if you do that so whilst we're away for the next six weeks we're going to keep checking and if we don't have over a thousand ratings on that Spotify star thing or more reviews and you're not having it whoa I did that all in one breath you're not having it you're going to bed I'm getting angry anyway I can breathe now because I'm not stressed about my huge life-changing announcement so I can chat again well done so us. We're really proud of you. Thanks, I appreciate it. All your hype women and men. So do us that
Starting point is 00:18:49 favour. Like and subscribe and then we'll come back with a bonus episode. We need to decide what day we want that on. I think we should ask for suggestions because I think the name needs to be like what did I say? Thank fuck it's Friday. Yeah like something like that and it comes out on a day but What we thought it would be quite nice for is like when you're getting ready for pre-drinks or you're getting ready to go out and whatever and you've got your girl chat going on, you know? Your gal chat?
Starting point is 00:19:19 Yes. Your lassie chat? That's a good idea. But we need to think of a name that goes with a day. Obviously I suggested karaoke but it was like, right, that's enough. So maybe not. We just can't commit to singing at the start of everything like. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:19:32 Most of the time one of us, like I clear my throat at least ten times an episode and so do you. So do I realize that. Why is that? I always go, I'm really sorry about that. I noticed that on last week's episode. I was like, I'm annoying.
Starting point is 00:19:46 But as soon as an announcement's like that, I don't know why that is. Because it's bloody boiling. Sweatting your teeth are off in here. Anyway, if anyone's got any name suggestions, we would love to know them. Yeah. And if it's good enough, then we'll make it happen.
Starting point is 00:19:59 Yeah, I love that. So, what else have we been up to? Oh, I've got an update on my heartility. Oh, my God. Nobody is ready for what you're about to hear. No, so my sister came up, which is just another bloody story. So my sister came up for four days and I had to do, so basically this fertility test, if you missed it,
Starting point is 00:20:21 it is a hormone and fertility at home test. It's brilliant. You should read the reviews. It's amazing. One of my friends who's just frozen eggs told me to get it. Anyway, got it at home. You have to do it on you day three of your cycle, of your period. And when it arrived, actually I came on a period the next day.
Starting point is 00:20:37 I thought, this is perfect. That at-home testing is just a finger prick, and you just have to collect your blood. I have done this before with that York test, which is the food allergy test that I did over a year ago. It wasn't pleasant, but it was fine. It was no ashes. Please also bear in mind that I was eating extremely very good that week. I didn't even think I'd had any sugar except blueberries and strawberries, and probably not many, like, starchy carbs over the past, like, four days. maybe that was why.
Starting point is 00:21:07 So sat down at my desk in my spare room, got the finger thing out. And you know, I was getting myself so built up and I was just so nervous to just prick this thing in my finger because it's sort of like a, it sort of clicks in your finger. And I was like, I don't really want to do this. So anyway, tension was building up. Pricked my finger.
Starting point is 00:21:27 And all of a sudden, I felt like really, how would you say, just drained of my energy. And I thought, oh my God. And I was like, oh, I remember putting my hands on my head. And I was like, oh, God, I feel really dizzy. And I woke up literally hanging from my chair. I was, blood was everywhere. And I was like, oh, my God.
Starting point is 00:21:46 The mirror had fallen. The blood thing had fell. There was blood everywhere. Because obviously, I'd really, I must have really have gone. I don't know how long I was, well, I fainted, obviously. I'd never fainted in my life, so I don't know what that was. And I woke up. And all that, this is going to sound like I'm some sort of,
Starting point is 00:22:05 psychopath. But all I remember was I was leaning in this bloody pink chair. It was the pink chair and I was hanging in it. And there was a primark bag underneath my desk full of like stuff I wanted to take back. So I woke up looking into this primark bag. I was like this hanging. And all I remember was hearing this really loud scream and it was like, ah, and I was like whoa. And I woke up like oh my God and I felt awful. I felt like a hangover times 20. In just like a few seconds I was like what the fuck just happened there so I sat up and I was like oh my god then I looked around and then I gathered I thought I think I've just fainted it I was like Zara Zara she's like what I went then all of a sudden I just got hot
Starting point is 00:22:49 hot and I was dripping my sweat ripped off my jumper just my boyfriend I went to the living room door and I went Zara I've just fainted and she went started piercing herself like she was never going to care she did not give a flying fork she just looked up from my TikTok scrolling was like I went, no, Zarsher. Why? Why did you faint? I was like, I don't know. Zoe, me and you went to cinema that night, didn't we, with Zara, and we went to talking to see The Little Mermaid. I was not okay, was I? No, you weren't, but also, something to mention here is, you'd text me saying, do you want to go to the cinema? I'd got back to you, blah, blah, blah. We were quite on a
Starting point is 00:23:23 roll with conversation, and as it usually does, I don't know where it stops, right? So I wasn't alarmed um and then about 20 minutes later or however long it was you were like I've just fainted and I was like pardon I know that way I was like weirdly like that kind of like laughing but kind of like is everything okay but I was also laughing because I thought how fucking random and weird that so random I've never fainted either and I think what it would feel so weird it was you know because you're coming around thinking what just happened and also I was thinking I wonder how long I was that's what I'm going to say I genuinely wonder what I was she sat on that sofa for think the old four days scrolling on a phone.
Starting point is 00:24:00 So I just don't know. It must have been at least about 20 minutes because there was quite a gap between our messages that's terrifying. Yes. And I lay on my bed after for a long time and I was really, I was wet. My whole body was wet.
Starting point is 00:24:12 So I don't want to scare anyone about this because I think it was definitely to do with what I'd eaten that day. But I was honestly traumatised. So the point of the story is I never got to send it off on day three because I've missed the post because I was too scared to do it again.
Starting point is 00:24:26 So I'm going to have to go to my my chemist I reckon and get them just to take a bit of blood for me because I don't want to prick my finger again, no way. No, I think you need to get it done for you this time because you'll be traumatised now, so I'm like, will you do it right, knowing that that's what's happened, you know? So I obviously need to wait a full month
Starting point is 00:24:41 and I'm really looking forward to it, seeing the results. My mum texts me today, like, I've heard your podcast, have you got your results? I'm like, mother, it doesn't mean that I'm going to be having a child anytime soon, you know, it's fantastic for finding that because I've obviously got a policy to goveries, finding if that's still kicking about, find out my hormone and balancing,
Starting point is 00:24:57 and also fertility issues. So it's an all-round, a fantastic thing, but she was like, oh, I was just interested, that's all. Of course you were her, hon. And we also need to talk about, we went down to Manchester, to go to Socorade on Sunday.
Starting point is 00:25:12 We shop kindly invited us. They did. Celebrities. And we went down to it, Jason, his pal, Holly, our other friend met us down there. And we did a great time. We did.
Starting point is 00:25:23 It was so good. There was bloody hundreds of people there. I know, because we were in. the Alex Ferguson suite but I kind of assumed I suppose the word sweet actually gives it away now that you think about it because usually it would be called the box I kind of pictured a box
Starting point is 00:25:38 that maybe would fit 20 people say and you would go out and you would kind of be in that but you can also be in the stand half and half a bit but actually it was like a huge massive room that must have had what a couple of hundred folk in it. There was 500 people that invited to that. Wow
Starting point is 00:25:55 huge so full of people there was a free bar so obviously we took the absolute piss out of that as you can imagine so that was really well behaved from us I was kind of paid I didn't watch one bit of that football match not going to lie
Starting point is 00:26:08 all I did was stare at Stormsy the whole time Jess I couldn't tell you what the score was I did think she doesn't go and watch Richard and yet there she is that's what he said to me earlier but I'm like it's not that I don't go and watch Richard he's not been playing for bloody ages I'm like jeez shit's stare up
Starting point is 00:26:23 she didn't go and watch him when he played I did when he played at Motherwell I did Listen, I don't have anyone to go to the game with. I'm not going to go in there like a twat. We've touched in it, don't worry. We won't talk about it anymore. And his dad never came down because of COVID since.
Starting point is 00:26:36 So I've had nobody to go with. I don't really have any waggy mates, so either. So I'm a loner. It's fine. We don't need to get into it. But, um... Egy, you trick me there. Fuck save.
Starting point is 00:26:45 I know, oh, Jesus. I'm fucking terrified now. But anyway, we watched bits of it, didn't we? And we enjoyed the experience. Met a few people, which was fun. And that was kind of, really, wasn't it? It was a fantastic event. It was loads of people there, to be fair, wasn't there?
Starting point is 00:27:01 So many people. I think the world won versus England. Well, they did. Four or three, I think the score was. I did actually know that. And then we went out a little bit after. I attended an after party where I saw so many very famous people. I was a little bit shook at one point.
Starting point is 00:27:19 Like, wow, to turn around. There's fucking Gary Neville next to me. Literally, everyone you could possibly think of was there. Quite a strange experience. Yeah. But I was not that pissed at that point, so I was all right. And I left at a good time as well, so I wasn't in bed too late, which was fine. And there was someone, we won't like name names,
Starting point is 00:27:39 but you're probably better at telling this story than me. What's this story? The drinks situation. Oh, no. So just a bit of background is there was like a free bar, free drinks as you went in, canopies, like all the different stuff up until the game started. And then from that point on, you would just buy your drinks as normal. Mm-hmm.
Starting point is 00:27:57 right that's right very loves the juicy guy she's making me say this so yeah we went to the bar me and Holly and there was a very famous reality star reality star yeah
Starting point is 00:28:09 the violent star ex-lovence and they came to the bar behind had a little chat with them very very beautiful and introduced myself vice versa and the barman came over
Starting point is 00:28:24 and he went oh by the way girls um the bars at cap like we've run out of the money so it's no longer a free bar me and holly we're like yeah sound she just went nah fuck that i'm not getting a drink i'll get one of the lads to get me on and just walked away and i was like oh me and holly we're looking at each other jaws on the floor like oh my god i can't believe anyone's like that that is number one beyond embarrassing that you would say that in front of two people that you probably probably know who you are like i would never do that anyway two i would never do that i can surely buy myself a vodka and flipping soda.
Starting point is 00:28:59 And also, you've probably got five times the amount of money in your bank than I. I know exactly. You, fuck off. And honestly, me and Holly were looking at each other like, wow, wow, wow. I honestly never thought there was still people like that. And I just thought... I think that's an absolute redneck. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:17 Really, really put me off them. Let me just say that. I really wish I could say it was. I'm going to think. I also just feel like it's a shame because I'm like, have just made a titter yourself because actually the whole the whole conversation was lovely and I thought you know what you're really sound and then it just ruined it and the fact that they didn't even say bye they just walked off straight from that like yeah fuck that I'll get
Starting point is 00:29:39 one of the lads to get everyone and she was sort of encouraging us to go with them I thought no what do you know but I'm like people will have that thought about reality stars like that and I'm like you just I feel you've just fit that bill so perfectly there which is a shame yeah because actually like a lot of them won't be like that at all But anyway, that was a bit of juicy gossipy even though we're not telling you who it is because you know what? You never know what the future holds.
Starting point is 00:30:01 You don't. Molly May followed me as well. Just just food. That's a highlight. It's pretty big time, isn't it? I'm not really phased by people that. I'm not going to lie. But that's because you've mingled a bit
Starting point is 00:30:14 in that kind of world now because of where your careers went. I've mingled in it a bit through my own career. So without sounding like a dick, it's not you. don't think these people are anything, but you just realize, like, everyone's just a normal person.
Starting point is 00:30:30 That's what I mean. And we had a lovely conversation. She's actually a really nice person. Not that I had thought anything otherwise, but we were chatting for a long time, and she asked my Instagram, and I was telling her what you should make, and she was loving my guides.
Starting point is 00:30:42 She was a really sweet person. And, yeah, I said it into the chat, and our friend was like, wow, it was a big time. I thought, yeah, actually, I suppose when you think of it, yeah, she is pretty big. Yeah, of course, is. She's pretty famous, isn't she, in that sort of world? But honestly, she's just a very normal.
Starting point is 00:30:55 normal person. Yeah, I think it's nice. I'm like 10 years older than I know, so. You can see people are just normal, but it's still nice to know that she doesn't just follow anyone and everyone, you know. I hope she makes sausage pasta. Absolutely. Thanks, Cheryl. So yeah, we shop if you want to, if we've not
Starting point is 00:31:11 said it before, but it's a sort of like a cash back app with shares and both Zoe and I using it now, Zoe's using it a lot more now we've pushed her on it. Yeah. My username is Jess underscore Ted's and Zoe's is just Zoe's Just Zoe Quinn.
Starting point is 00:31:26 No fancy, for a bunch, just so he quen. Yeah. Just Ted's was gone. Like, who the fuck's taking that username? Chee-K. So, yeah, and we need to say, because Jason reminded us of this, he set it up with your referral code
Starting point is 00:31:39 and he forgot to make his first purchase in the first 14 days and he missed that 100% cashback deal. Yes, so be quick. So if you have signed up to it, make sure you buy something quick and make use of it. Or if you know your going to book,
Starting point is 00:31:52 like through booking.com or something soon, wait. Yeah. and then sign up when you're about to do that because that's a huge opportunity to get loads of money back. Yeah. And you've got nothing to lose. We need to say shares. Yeah, shares.
Starting point is 00:32:03 But depending on when you can get them out, depends on how much you'll get. I've seen people get withdrawing the money now, by the way. And I started it a long time ago. Lucky people. Love that. Nothing to lose. Yeah. So, a little shout out there.
Starting point is 00:32:16 So we just thought that we'd round up with things that we've not mentioned or we forgot to reply to in the DMs or questions that you've sent in that we've just not had time to to cover just the odd little things so we thought we'd wrap it up so we can start fresh so here's up Zoe yep I've rounded up the most popular ones for you right so don't have all night
Starting point is 00:32:35 but there was still a few on face SPF recommendations that don't feel thick sun creamy so go tell us your favourite or your top few so my top SPFs are the Cozarex we think that's how we say it I've shared it way over a year now on my Instagram, but it's a Korean SPF.
Starting point is 00:32:57 It's brilliant. It looks fantastic. We also both like the La Roche Posee SBF 50. There's a new one come out which is like for oil free. That's nice. I use it on holiday. There's also the one that, the one we use is the one that says it's invisible. Yes, that's right. So it does actually come out white, but it doesn't leave like a white cast on your skin. I also really like the one that Fiona suggested.
Starting point is 00:33:19 I took that on holiday with me and it had a tint with it. Is it a vene? That was lovely. I only used that a couple weeks ago and I really like that. That's good for like no makeup, makeup days if you're on holiday. I also love Heliocare
Starting point is 00:33:32 and I know a lot of people love that but you know when I was away in a Palmer you can buy Helio care in the chemists. I know he'll have to get off like a specialist just like ZO and stuff but Helio care, if you can get your hands on that, which you can, I think you can get it online.
Starting point is 00:33:47 It's a really nice one. I like the fluid one and the one with the tint is really nice. I've also heard that the ultraviolet one, Julie. Nice. Well, I bought that in Australia three years ago before it came to
Starting point is 00:33:59 Space and K. Fucking Billy Big was. No, but let me just say it was the Queen screen and I'd heard a lot about it because Australia are really big on their SPF. And Zoe, that was one
Starting point is 00:34:08 that brought me out and all that rash. Do you not remember? No, we'll stop it right now. I'm not going to use it. I had a whole... But remember at the same time I was also trialing
Starting point is 00:34:16 in products for where we worked and I couldn't put our hands on fingers what it was. It was bio-me-cleaner. And that's still not broke me out since so I think it was the queen screen. Interesting. It made me really bad
Starting point is 00:34:29 but I have heard that you can get a reaction off some SPFs so I've been too scared to use it again and it cost me 50 quid that is. I was feeling at the time but yeah I've heard that the one in the blue bottle with the yellow lid that's squeasy is good because it's quite glowy on the skin that's right. Anyway I would say all of them
Starting point is 00:34:45 are quite light and none of them really feel like sun cream as such like it's no your P20 do you know what I mean someone asked me the best place I can't speak the best place to stay in roads I have to speak about this because
Starting point is 00:35:05 where I stayed was really really nice hotel really nice hotel and it was called Cooks Club or something Cooks and it was really nice hotel but I think I touched on at the time it was far out of the old and new town so you had to get a bus to it or obviously you can get a taxi but the bus was so easy right outside the hotel and was literally like a couple of euros or whatever but i would recommend looking for hotels in the sort of old or new town area which by the way
Starting point is 00:35:36 are next door to each other like the old town you could walk from one to the other like within three steps um so that you're a bit more in amongst it okay if you prefer going there like every day which we did but we didn't mind the bus but i'm just not recommend that hotel fully because it's not in amongst you know the busy bits um and then like lindos and all that are really nice but i think if you stay up in the old town or new town it means you're there and then you can just travel from there yeah so that would be my recommendation but there is a cook's club or whatever it's called hotel up in the old town as well okay it's just not as yeah it's just not as big like the pool area and stuff not as big because it's obviously kind of in the town
Starting point is 00:36:16 yeah um but i'd recommend that hotel so that would be my overall Reco. Love that's Oz. I did Love Roads. Big, big, big, huge question. Very important. Oh. Who does her hair?
Starting point is 00:36:29 Ooh. Me, Jack Baxter. Me, Studio One, which is just the one hairdresser in their anyway, Costi. And she's great. Love that. I do need a bit more blonde going on though.
Starting point is 00:36:41 Yeah. Also, I'll shout out another friend of mine because I did have my head in by somebody else last time. Harriet Fuller. She is a friend of mine, but she's also unbelievable. Harriet Fuller Hair.
Starting point is 00:36:52 So if you're based, one of our listeners based down south, I would highly recommend her. She's fantastic. Because we have to remember, a lot of our listeners aren't always, as you guys,
Starting point is 00:37:02 I know, but also I think it's probably worth mentioning that both of us because of being blonde naturally. Yeah. I don't mean naturally blonde. I mean,
Starting point is 00:37:12 we naturally had to grow our hair out when all that COVID nonsense was going on. So that kind of gave us a bit of a fresh start in a way like I feel that's why me personally anyway my hair got so long and fit because I wasn't doing anything to it yeah and I don't actually you're probably the same considering we get blonde highlights etc don't get our hair done that often yeah like people go every six weeks I'm talking I'm every six months yeah and I think that's what keeps it a bit more
Starting point is 00:37:43 natural looking and also doesn't ruin your hair absolutely yeah and I know not everyone has that choice if you've got like a bit of a darker route but maybe speak to someone and try get a solution because there's solutions around that of like a wee bit of a root drag or whatever yeah jack did a really nice technique on my hair today so he took the foils out so he didn't he actually highlighted the top here can you see it doesn't do that as much and as he pulled the foils out he then got a brush and sort of like brushed them all out all through my hair well that's just on them for like three minutes it was like a blend natural baby like situation I think that's also a point don't get like
Starting point is 00:38:18 like maybe like a full head highlight and maybe get like baby lights up the top so it kind of looks... Face framing. A bit more natural. Do you know what else he used on my hair as well today which I wanted to talk about? Because he was always using Oliplex
Starting point is 00:38:30 which I've said before that I've never really rated that much. But he used, a lot of hairdressers use that within the colour but he started to use his thing called K-8. K-18 or K-8 and I've seen some people speak about that like there's a mask that you can get at home but he said it is unbelievable. So if any hairdressers, any of your hairdressers out there
Starting point is 00:38:47 are providing this K-18 and he prepped it with this spray and then put it on with the dye and then did a thing at the end and it was, my hair feels so good and his mom who works there pulled my hair and she was like your hair is so strong
Starting point is 00:39:01 and I was like honestly it's grow gorgeous why did she pull it didn't it come out? No she's so sorry I thought he said why did she pull it? That was my question. She sort of like you just pulled it a little bit like that and she's like it feels just so strong and I was like it is
Starting point is 00:39:16 that's bullshit You can't pull somebody's hair I'm like, oh, strong hair. But you know, like, you feel it, like, it does. You are annoying. She did. Look, she looks at hair all the time, Graham. And she pulled my hair and it didn't snap.
Starting point is 00:39:36 It didn't fall out, so you know what? We've got a winner. Exactly. And when you brush hair, you can feel its elasticity and you can feel, Graham, if it's strong or not. Oh, Jess, you're actually raised in your breath. Shut up, jeep, shut up, gee. So, yeah, they are my recommendations.
Starting point is 00:39:51 My hair is strong, thanks to grow gorgeous. Even Holly said, didn't she? She went, your hair is looking long. And I was like, it's the only thing. No, gorgeous is insane. I don't know how many times we need to talk about it. I know. And I'm using a really good new product with it,
Starting point is 00:40:02 and I can't wait to share it because it's really nice. You are, you are. Verdict on Hansa G, is it worth the money? Absolutely, but you need to be careful when you wash them because, Jesus Christ, the colour drains. It's the sun cream. Oh, the colour drains as, and if it was green, there would be green draining.
Starting point is 00:40:18 No, I mean, like, yeah, it's just faded. My pink ones, when we were in selfies yesterday, I looked at the pink one, I thought, mine does not look that colour anymore. So maybe it's not worth the money then. Do you know what it is? It's the one size fits all, and they are kind of flattering.
Starting point is 00:40:31 So, yeah, I'll recommend them, but there's so many good jupes out there that you can get. Well, that was the second kind of part of the question. And I have worn your Huntersy before when we were away skiing. Oh, so you did, yeah. But I think the jupes have been around for ages, the ones on ASOS. the kind of swim suits
Starting point is 00:40:49 and the kind of pekinies, their drips. Yeah. Like them. I actually, I've said this before, I hate all swimwear. It's not flattering for my body whatsoever. And the Huns of G is the only thing that actually I feel okay and, but the annoying thing is
Starting point is 00:41:02 I, you don't then tan your stomach because you're wearing a costume. Oh yeah, you can get bikinis as well. I know, but I don't like bikinis because I dig in my side. Right, okay, well, I hope that answer helped. this is one for you summer salad reclacles
Starting point is 00:41:20 the hot girl summer salad love it on your page right we'll like you there I've actually got a guide if you've got my guide section on my page I've got whole salads go on it do we like the word recos because Jason slag me for saying that one day
Starting point is 00:41:32 and I think that was quite a common thing to say for recommendations yeah I don't care it doesn't bother me as well now we need to cut them all out because I'm embarrassed tips for foundation not making can you look haggard by the end of the day? Don't put powder.
Starting point is 00:41:48 Don't put setting powder on. Why do people still use powder though? It makes me look old. I don't own a powder. I've never been a powder person. I would suggest light. So foundation needs to be quite light and dewy. Cream bronzes, cream blushes.
Starting point is 00:42:04 I do like the odd powder blush here and there. I love the pesca. Well, I do use a powder blush line, but I mean like a powder you'd put everywhere. I think maybe rather than using a powder, I would use a good setting spray. I know people don't think that they work, but I personally do. I really do think they work.
Starting point is 00:42:20 I also think nowadays you maybe assume people are wearing foundation still and that's the kind of look you're trying to achieve. But actually just, I use concealer now more than ever before. Yeah. Like I would use, I know you kind of do the same, like literally flawless filter
Starting point is 00:42:36 which technically is like, what, a tinted moisturiser to an extent, maybe a bit more coverage, a wee bit more coverage. But then the bits that I actually want coverage on I wouldn't put foundation on now I would just put concealer on yeah and then like layer up with bronzers and blush and stuff and that's what makes you just have that like and a dewy finish all day rather than piling on foundations that are just going to crack and yeah like see if
Starting point is 00:42:59 you have too much makeup on see if you rub one bit then that's patchy like and that's what makes you feel a bit dirty and haggard and heavy mm-hmm agree so lighter products dewy I do think as well when you apply it with a damp beauty blender I as opposed to a certain brush that you've probably not washed in about a year, Zoe, then yeah, you make it all look cakey. So, wash your brushes, kids. I know what I'm doing tonight.
Starting point is 00:43:24 Fucking out. How time to wash my brushes, Jess? Zoe, it takes two seconds. No, it doesn't. Yeah, you do now. You're funny employed her. All the time to wash your brushes. I'll be busy.
Starting point is 00:43:35 You need to manifest that for my blood of hell. You're going to be so busy. Right, another one for you, quite important. Oh gosh. Because a few of people. Oh, God. Have really went ahead with us? What?
Starting point is 00:43:47 Booking the Can Do Trip. I know. I've had so many messages about that. You've really... I've had so many messages about Can Do because basically Can Do open their booking system for this next year and it's sold out within a day
Starting point is 00:43:59 so I had an influx of messages on the same day and I was like, bloody hell what's going on? Yep. And that was why. So I've had a few messages about this about Kilimanjaro as well. Yeah. I think people are just probably wanting to just book a few
Starting point is 00:44:13 like nice trips aren't they and I don't have any um anything on Killy on my Instagram or I need to do that I need to get that sorted because as I said I lost my phone at the time and I did actually record a YouTube packing video on that and um my phone broke so I'll need to do that YouTube just didn't ever happen it never happened but it would have happened if I didn't lose my phone that's the sad thing that's a shame how many views that video would have got there was no female packing videos for Killy at the time fucked it anyway and now I struggle to remember so anyway back to can do so can do honestly i did go up there with a completely open mind i was so unsure what it was because there was only
Starting point is 00:44:53 one trip before so there wasn't much online to see about it yeah but seriously go with an open mind be brave trust the guides they're so amazing um be present in the moment take all the pictures speak to people take swimming costumes because you probably won't be that comfortable swimming with the sharks and bikinis not many people wore bikinis and that sounds really really weird but you didn't. A lot of people had proper diving costumes. Yeah. So the Hunza G was good for that or just a good supportive costume because
Starting point is 00:45:21 the last thing you want to do is be fiddling with your bra in that while a shark's just brushing past your tent tent, you know? I know. A shark's going by your fucking tech falls out. It's not good, is it. If you have a chance as well, this is another big tip I'm going to say. Shark bit your tip. I know. It could encourage all sorts. Did you see the two people get swallowed off the wheel?
Starting point is 00:45:38 Yes. Yes, I did, Graham. And that's really concerned because there is a trip with them who's going to swim with tiger sharks. and I wouldn't do that now. The day people die? Zoe, yes, it gets mauled to death. Is that what you're talking about, the guy from in Egypt? No, he's talking about a whale.
Starting point is 00:45:52 A whale came out and consumed two people. When? I remember talking about what it would be like. Oh, yes. It happened, in a kayak, and a blue whale comes out and just, oh, sorry, I thought you were talking about the shark attack just two days ago in Egypt.
Starting point is 00:46:08 No, but they ever come out? I think they came back out. I think they were, I think I've seen that face. We need to find them We need to find them and ask them Get them on the pod Ask them exactly what it was like in there They're just going to say it was pitch black
Starting point is 00:46:21 I know Oh Bored in short Yeah so Remember you can't drink on it either So you can go off on party boats You want to every night But my suggestion
Starting point is 00:46:33 Just don't slap it up Enjoy it's so great If you can extend the trip And go somewhere else I would Maldives is a great place to go in so far So if you can afford to do it maybe go on, stay two nights in a water villa or go somewhere else.
Starting point is 00:46:47 But my biggest advice would be, which I wish I'd knew before, but try and do your paddy, which is your diving, is it like a, what would you say it is, Graham, your paddy? Is it a diving license? Oh, the diving course thing, yeah. It's like a level system thing in it, it's like qualifications. Yeah, so I think it's like two-day course. You can do them quite a lot of places in the UK. And that means that when you go on the trip, all the paddy people that had their paddy, sorry,
Starting point is 00:47:10 were able to do night dives. They could go deeper when they scuba. dived which me personally I was happy doing scuba diving at my level Graham's watching a shark video I was happy going to the level on my scuba diving because I'd not done it before and it freaked me out of it but if someone's like really majorly interested in that then you would reckon yeah so I'd recommend yeah look into your paddy before you go you've got enough time because it's not on the first one is until January and I'm potentially going to go to the one in January first week
Starting point is 00:47:41 potentially. Well, I did actually reply to someone that wrote in saying that they'd booked saying that we were maybe going to book or we might have booked. And I don't know why I made that we'd booked. I don't know if I did, but that was just so that I held myself. So you're going to come with me, are you, Zoe? Love that. Zoe's always inviting ourselves to Candace. I'm actually okay. Well, she's one employed now, so she's planning all these trips to me. That's fantastic. So yeah, me and Zoe might potentially be there first week in January if anyone else is on that trip. I would love that, but I'm not a great swimmer. Zoe, you don't need to swim.
Starting point is 00:48:11 That much. Like I say, you can go on this trip and never dive in your life. And hand on heart, Maldives was never somewhere I wanted to go, but it is without a doubt the most beautiful place I've ever seen and probably will ever see. Because when I went to Barbados a few months after, I like the beaches, but I wasn't like, wow. Because I'd seen the wow.
Starting point is 00:48:31 Yeah. And I think that is where the best beaches are, honestly. Makes absolute sense. So you're going to enjoy yourselves. I'm so excited for you all. Well, no more questions for today. Oh, okay. We have to keep some for season three.
Starting point is 00:48:44 Yeah. Keep them hanging, you know, neat to listen back in. I love that. Everyone's put in what they would like to see for season three in terms of like guests or topics. Yes. And all those kind of things. So we've made a note and we'll make a plan
Starting point is 00:48:56 and we'll try and accommodate all of your requests. Yes. So yeah, thank you so much for being with us on this wonderful journey of season two. We genuinely love doing this podcast, don't we, Zoe? And G is a part of the team now. even though he does my nutting today tell my hair
Starting point is 00:49:14 tell everyone my hair looks nice it does look nice I commented in you can no you didn't you said you look different it's because it looks so strong I'm worth it so yeah we're all really excited
Starting point is 00:49:28 to see your new whatever your life brings you Zoe in the next chapter why have you brought it back to that because I'm excited for you no I'm excited as well I just need to get a few things you know
Starting point is 00:49:40 organised and then I'll just be ready to go, ready to rock and roll slay the day away. Slay the day yeah and we just want to just thank you all so much for being there all of your messages are so kind, being very supportive and it's actually madness that you actually spend an hour of your day each week
Starting point is 00:49:56 listening to us waffle on and some of the things you might agree with or disagree with but it's actually truly wonderful that you choose to do that. Yeah and we really appreciate everything that you send in and we hope that um because we've had some nice messages of people saying that you feel like we're your friends or you really relate to us you appreciate our honesty and you know we are we do put ourselves in quite a vulnerable position don't we coming on a podcast think people forget that that you come on
Starting point is 00:50:20 you share so much about your life you kind of do forget that even though we are just sat in a room with us three it just go out to there's thousands and thousands and thousands of people that listen to this podcast every week now isn't there and it's quite scary when you think about it that you share so much of your personal life. Yeah, because every time I listen back, I'm like, should we say that, should we not? Should we say that? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:42 And, you know, we are just human at the end of the day. We just have a normal chat, and that's what it feels like on a podcast. I'm just a normal wee last, I guess. You are? We're not now. You're influencing it. You've also got way more comfortable than you used to be.
Starting point is 00:50:52 Do you think? Yeah, because even the amount I used to cut out in season one, even it started the season two, now, now it's just like, nah, that's fine. Yeah, we're hard to make candy cuts. Three, four, five times more people than it ever was. And yet you guys are just. just letting it flow, which is the best way.
Starting point is 00:51:07 It is the best way. I think it's also, though, because the longer you've been doing it, the more time people have had to understand you as a person. So, like, obviously, like, I just kind of see how I feel and think at times, but I'm not actually an arshould, but people know that now, hopefully. Whereas the first, like, when you've only done five episodes. Because you're quite dry. People have to understand your personality, yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:30 Well, exactly. So now I'm like, surely, now I just think, unless you're a weirdo, you'll know what I mean. So it's on you, not me. Do you know what I mean? One million percent. Which does explain me as a person. And I do think there'll probably be things that we say that you don't agree with or that might annoy you each week.
Starting point is 00:51:44 But that's just like. But that is just, that's what it's like having friends, isn't it? We're your mates and we annoy you sometimes. Or you might love us sometimes and hate us one week. But we get nothing but really, except that one troll. Hi. We get nothing but seriously lovely messages. And we do wish we could respond to every single one.
Starting point is 00:52:05 and what I will say is if you want us to continue doing this which we will but we need your support where you do rate us and you know share tell your friends yeah talk about us tell a friend tell a friend tell a friend supporters buy things that we say or you know if we do get sponsorships in season three which we really hope we do just know that that is what's keeping us going
Starting point is 00:52:27 and what's supporting our podcast and things that we don't bullshit you we don't promote anything we certainly know that I do not but anything that we don't like and just know that we've thought long and hard about having that person on board with us and absolutely and i think if you've ever shared this on the podcast but when we um did season one i'm nervous about what you're going to see i don't know i said you about it earlier so when we had season one we walked in and it was you know it was hard it's a graft every week as we said over and over there's a lot of things going on behind the scenes to do a podcast we walked in we said to graham
Starting point is 00:53:00 we need a break and it was episode seven and he looked at and he laughed and he sat us down. So we've got to thank Graham here for the fact that we continued and he went, listen, girls. What was the statistic? Do you remember? It's like 95% of all podcasts
Starting point is 00:53:17 don't make it past episode seven. Mad. That is wild. Because people start a podcast and then people have great ideas and thoughts and basically over seven episodes or seven hours you get it all out and it's just like, oh, you've got nothing left to say. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:29 Without a concept or an idea. Yeah. So they all went in. Even after that, it's like, all the 5% that make it past, the seven episodes again it's only like 50% make it to 20 episodes do I mean like it just has a massive drop off so we made it past that love that for us and when you make it past that 20 30 episodes then you've kind of solidified it and it's all it grows
Starting point is 00:53:52 you get success wow you just need to keep showing up because see really when you think about it we can't just stop doing it now no we can't people are angry at us I think we would have actual hate letters coming to our door they are something but we're not stopping for long like at all what four or five weeks. I think it'll be about six, between six and eight weeks. Oh my god, here she goes. It's like the school holidays. Yeah, school holidays. We both got
Starting point is 00:54:14 our summer holidays to go on or whatever. Gee, has got like these other 25 plates to spin and I've got a business to fucking start. So we'll be back from we're back, right? Woo! Yes, we're going to be back when we're back. So anyway, we can't see you next Tuesday, but we'll see you soon. We'll see you soon. And thanks for being there. So we thank you for being the best co-host I could ever wish for.
Starting point is 00:54:35 No, thank you, Jess. Why? Thank you. Why? Because you keep me young. You keep me young. And Graham, thank you for being the best producer ever. Thanks, Jean.
Starting point is 00:54:48 Loves him. Well, he does this now. And thank you to all the pod pegs. Yeah, we couldn't do it without you. We love your pod pegs. And we won't be long, we promise. Excite things are coming. And we'll see you in eight weeks.
Starting point is 00:55:03 Bye. We're going to be. Thank you.
