Starting point is 00:00:00 Happy, Happy Happy Tuesday, Poppiggies. How are you? Happy less thanks, Jess. Yay! I'm sick of this. So it makes me do the intro every fucking week. It just needs to start on a high with your enthusiasm. Okay.
Starting point is 00:00:27 Mine's too like. Happy Tuesday. I hope you're all okay. Hope we're having a good week. Well, happy Tuesday. I hope you all had a gorgeous weekend and you're raring to go for the week ahead because we're coming into December this week.
Starting point is 00:00:46 It's part of the season. Yeah. It's going to be the week of the live soon. Wish it in ourselves. A week from when this comes out it is the night of the life. Yeah, that's correct. Yeah, exactly a week.
Starting point is 00:00:59 a week today that's quite stressful experience well there'd be an episode that day we are undecided we were talking about this yesterday weren't we? We were saying we'll potentially have the week off Oh
Starting point is 00:01:10 Gee's like please Yeah we might do We're gonna think about it Just save it all for the live Yeah Privileges for your special guests True pod piggy wiggies There's only so many times
Starting point is 00:01:22 Words can come out my mouth in a week So I don't know if I could do an episode And the live Do you know what I mean? Yeah Two lives So today we're going to discuss
Starting point is 00:01:29 what I've been up to I feel like we need a big fat catch up yeah because we've had topics the last couple of weeks it's not like us do you know what I feel like you've been up to a lot me not so much which is odd I'm sorry I think the complete opposite
Starting point is 00:01:43 what I've been on a full finish retreat I thought like I've already spoke about that you've not told us anything about it alright well okay anyway there's a strong smell of something in here so I would like to know what it is Jessica please
Starting point is 00:01:56 so obviously we'll all obsessed with TikTok and I'm obsessed with these I'm obsessed with noodles at the moment in general I just think noodles are everywhere and I've never really been that much into them until recently I think I love a noodle do you yeah yeah because you said that that your takeaway of choice would be like some sort of Asian cuisine yeah which I thought was just I don't know
Starting point is 00:02:16 off-ran for you but yeah I saw these carbonara noodles god's sake where's the packet gone can't remember anyway it's the pink packet you'll have probably seen it everywhere. Went into the Asian supermarket God forbid, what is it called? It's like Oka or something? Oka, yeah, Oka Super City.
Starting point is 00:02:35 O-A-K-A. And initially I went in it because I saw this girl on TikTok promote the fact that they did like a banana latte and I know that sounds really strange but it's like a, I don't know if it's oatmeal or something but they apparently they add this sort of like banana flavoured
Starting point is 00:02:51 milk with coffee. I think that'd be nice. Yeah, and everyone in the comments were like, yeah, it's quite a thing, and it's delicious. So I went there to go and get it. And also, in this supermarket, you can make your own noodles and, like, egg, anything, anything you buy in the shop, you can actually make and eat in it. That makes sense. Right. Okay. And I went in it, and I thought, I want to have the whole experience, and I bought them, and some kimchi.
Starting point is 00:03:18 And the iconic chili crisp, have you had this before? No. Oh, my God. I just don't know how to pronounce anything in life but it's La A-A-A-G-A-G-A-N-M-A. L-A-O-G-A-N-M-A. Crispy chili in oil, but it's so good. Spacy though?
Starting point is 00:03:41 No, not so much. It's more like crispy onion, I would say. Right, okay. It's actually a nice level of heat. I love crispy onions, by the way. And some Japanese mayonnaise I bought as well because delicious. But this is the trick here. This is why I bought this in today and I've cooked some noodles
Starting point is 00:03:53 because in the comments when you make these noodles you put them over a hob just for like five minutes and you add the carbonara seasoning but there's also a red packet of spice in the same pack and people would add the whole packet of spice
Starting point is 00:04:05 but in the comments I were like do not add the packet and some people are like what are you on about my spice thresholds like fine you lot obviously don't eat spicy food and you've added the whole packet in one of them
Starting point is 00:04:17 so I've done one of them with the full packet as it should be served and one without why would you do such a thing Because I think you, this is the whole point, spit or swallow. Get your chopsticks.
Starting point is 00:04:28 I can't use chopsticks. What? My fingers just don't work in that way. That nice and... Moist. There's some proper ESMR stuff there. What does that sound like on the mic? Fanny.
Starting point is 00:04:43 Oh my God, Zoe. if anyone was going to say that it would have been me sorry I love that for you right we've got a Japanese do you want to add some Japanese mayo in it because I did that and it was actually quite delicious oh we'll save it for that one why is it not get a labelling on it that makes me feel weird because it comes in like another plastic wrap
Starting point is 00:05:09 but I took off let's save the crispy oil and the mayo for the plain one I feel like you'll need to you'll need to put them into my mouth are you sure for me because I just can't use these utensils at all I don't my fingers don't work in that Let me put these moist fanny noodles in your mouth. You're giving me quite a lot here. Is it really spicy?
Starting point is 00:05:29 I don't know I've never had it, Zoe. I'm nervous. I've been like lean back. Oh my God. Oh my God. I'm scared. I'll do it with you. It will, why do you? There's water there.
Starting point is 00:05:47 No! Why did you do that? That's not even normal. That's not normal ever. It's not going to be. Put that meal down my throat. That is so spicy by the way. Last one.
Starting point is 00:06:10 Because it actually is delicious. I had this yesterday and I want you to try this because I want you to try this chili crisp oil. Everyone needs to go and get it. I'm sure you can get it in Sainsbridge, you know. It's just like a red jar with a person's face. A person's face on it. So that's the whole, the ones we've just had to get the whole spice in it. Yeah, this has just the carbonara.
Starting point is 00:06:26 How could anyone sit and eat like a full bowl of it? I don't know. People are weird, man. Oh. I'm traumatised. My eyes are watering. My nose is running. Right. This has no spice in it except the chili crisp, don't you dare moan. I feel like the way you're feeding me this isn't really.
Starting point is 00:06:46 Just suck it off that. I bet this is going to sound nice on the microphone. Oh they're much nicer. Aren't they? No, well the spicy ones are actually nice. Just fucking death of my eyes are streaming on my face. That crispy thing's nice. Isn't it?
Starting point is 00:07:14 Do you like truly quick, Jay? Is it sweet chili? No. Just chili, yeah. It's like crispy onion with a bit of chili in an oil. Imagine that with salmon and veg and stuff. You love salmon?
Starting point is 00:07:31 It's just salmon and veg. I can imagine that's quite nice. Right, let's get back in the room. Right, what has been a lot on your plate? That? I'm sure. Anything else? I feel like I'm breathing fire.
Starting point is 00:07:51 I know, I feel like that as well. Anyway, see if I'm being completely honest, right? I'm going to out myself here. I know we're fitness queens and all that, but we're sharing another day. We've not, like, we're not being overly strict on our diet. I feel like I'm carb loading. I've not stopped eating cabs.
Starting point is 00:08:08 And honestly, I think in the last week or show I must have had about three McDonald's. Oh, wow, okay. But I say this, right? I don't mean like a full McDonald's meal See if I'm out and about And I just need a quick something for lunch I get overwhelmed
Starting point is 00:08:23 I don't know where to go And I'll just go and get six nuggets And that's all I'll have What? Do you know what I mean though? No Like a wee quick fix A wee quick drive-through fix
Starting point is 00:08:31 I would get a chicken wrap from If I was going to have a quick fix I forget about raps all the time I do actually like them I'm probably over-exaggerating But I did have a meal for McDonald's Before I went to the cinema that night And what was that?
Starting point is 00:08:44 At playing McChicken Science with a slice of cheese on it. Right. And then I put a wee bit of sweet and sour sauce on it. Mmm. It's a good combination. And then I wasn't too bad at my snacks at the cinema. I think I had one chocolate bar.
Starting point is 00:08:58 And it was a kick-kut chunky with hazelnut cream that we were just talking about. Yeah, that you told me let's try. But apart from that, I've just been eating at home. Mm. I don't really think I've been out for food. No, I don't think I have either, to be honest. I'm trying to think... Oh, we went Sugo last night.
Starting point is 00:09:14 I know, I was going to say that, but I don't think. I was going to say that, but I actually just had olives. Yeah, you did. Well, I'd already had my dinner. Jason had made burgers with haggis on it, and he's really good at that. Yeah. So it was delicious, even though it does not agree with me to say the least, right?
Starting point is 00:09:30 However, I ate it anyway. And then we went to Sugo after we were at an event, and I just watched Jesse. I had the ragu pasta, and fuck me, I forget how good it is. I love Sugo. No, I love Sugo. I know you do. I just love it
Starting point is 00:09:46 When I'm in there I'm just like thriving my tits off I just think this is just the best place in the world don't care what anyone says fight me there's so many options
Starting point is 00:09:54 it's so cheap it comes so quickly I think the staff are so sound like the chat I mean we were winding that guy up really were and he loved it and all the Christmas
Starting point is 00:10:03 Christmas Christmas Christmas all the Christmas Merry Christmas Merry Christmas and all the what Christmas Christmas decorations.
Starting point is 00:10:17 Christmas decorations? Yeah, they were nice, didn't it? Yeah. So it was gorgeous, gorgeous fame. And I said to him, I went, what did he say when he came over? I went, do you want Parmesan? I went, do you want a fuck ton of Parmesan?
Starting point is 00:10:29 He looked at me like, okay. And he understood the assignment. It was actually borderline embarrassing. Hey, couldn't you see the pasta? Yeah, it was good. And then I think, cooked a few things at home, actually, this week. I cooked a chicken schnitzel. For some reason, that was so random,
Starting point is 00:10:42 but I was craving a chicken snitzel, and I got my cook on. and I made the best chicken snitzel with like an unreal like coleslaw. What actually is that? Is it bready chicken? It's just breaded chicken but you flatten it down and I put capers on top and I made like a slough of carrot, onion, walnuts, raisins in like a dijonny vinegarette with apple in it. Oh it was so good
Starting point is 00:11:05 and then it made a lemon alioli. And honestly I'll take the kid you know it took me like 25 minutes. I was like I just think that's so impressive to be honest I was impressed with myself actually I thought you know what you know when you're good you're fucking good Jess like love that for me and then these noodles I had them yesterday as well
Starting point is 00:11:24 quite nice oh I had what's it called in town I love it so much Pokey bowl oh a Kiko A Kiko you can't beat it
Starting point is 00:11:38 no you can't it's so good for lunch so good and you were saying it's quite heavy but I have half and half, half brown rice, half lettuce. I go for the chicken. Catsu chicken. Katsu chicken. Edomame, kimchi,
Starting point is 00:11:53 some sort of slaw, I think I have. Crispy onions, chili flakes, spring onions, sesame seeds, avocado, and I think I went for like a miso dressing. That's pretty much what I get as well. However, the mistake I make is I get the sushi rice. Quite heavy.
Starting point is 00:12:11 Or sticking. nice, whatever they call it, and I don't get half leaves because I'm not really anti-leaves, so it is heavy. Yeah, it's a lot. For your lunch, but they actually are open a bit later, so you could go for dinner. Yeah, a wee dinner, checky, would that be a great dinner? I honestly recommend that to everyone. If you're in town,
Starting point is 00:12:27 you want a quick lunch, like a sprig sort of thing, but you want to be a bit different. So good, but yeah, that's been a lot on my plate, to be honest, that's it, I think. Emotionally, is it up with you? Do you know what, no? I mean, I mean, And there's a lot of things up with me. I feel like just my brain is overdrive at the moment
Starting point is 00:12:47 with all the things that I have coming up, but that's no one's problem but my own. It's also my problem. Yeah, it is. But what I will say is, I am thriving. I am, gee. I genuinely, I've got so much energy.
Starting point is 00:13:04 I'm loving it. I'm exercising every day. You are I absolutely loving life at the moment. Yeah. So are you. Well, we're trying to make your love life. But, no, I thought like the exercise part is, it's good for me. But what I have said, and you're all going to piss yourself, right?
Starting point is 00:13:20 Because you fuckers took the piss out of me with my running vest, right? So I thought, you know what? Haters are my motivators. I was like, I'm not going to allow you to slack me off. So I'm going to book a half a marathon. Oh, Jesus Christ. What happened you never doing mad? I know. I just said that. I was like, you know what? It's just so me. But what I will say is it wasn't my idea. It was not my idea. So I booked Tyrox. I've officially booked Berlin. And that's happening in April. That's happening. Me and Rebecca are doing it. It's booked. It's paid for. Because what I said, and I'm just going to be honest with myself, I've done this four weeks of like really being good. I know what I'm like. I've done this now for fucking 30 odd years, whatever. I will hope not, but I probably will fall off the wagon if I've got nothing, no performance goal, like I said.
Starting point is 00:14:11 So I really need something to like book and look forward to. I wanted to do high works in Glasgow, but it's sold out. And Rebecca said, why don't we look for a marathon, like something like running? She went this Inverness Half Marathon on in March. And you love Inverness? I fucking love Inverness. God bless Inverness. It's the best place on planet Earth.
Starting point is 00:14:33 Johnny Foxes, love you. But that's what I'm going to do, I think. It's £40 to enter. And I don't actually like running that much. but I want to get into it. So I feel like, but I'm going to say it now. I know they say never say never, but I'm never going to do a full marathon.
Starting point is 00:14:48 I really can't picture myself wanting to do that. That's too long. Half a marathon is 22K. That's not, not achievable. Do you know what I mean? I'm not sure. I mean, I was sick after running 0.4K the other week at the gym when I was there running.
Starting point is 00:15:03 But can I also just also say? You're going to beg me up here? No, but I will do. So he's very good at running and she also looks very good running as well I simply don't I'm not a good runner to look at I'm surprised they'll look good running
Starting point is 00:15:16 because I don't feel it you do look at but what I will They look as if it's easy Like I'm like ooh You just not you're posture's just nice Because you've got a big batty in that It looks good
Starting point is 00:15:25 So then when I was Do you want to Do you want to interrupt you? No interrupt Do you want to hear something funny Yeah obviously I'm going to play it for the Oh
Starting point is 00:15:36 Is this involving us Hi G, I hate you Just because you said You're going to run a half marathon Right This is what I think of Every time
Starting point is 00:15:46 Somebody says I'm going to run a half marathon Do you do? Yeah If you've bragged about doing a half marathon You can shut the fuck up forever When did that even become a thing A half marathon?
Starting point is 00:16:02 Ooh I just finished reading half a book Oh yeah, big thick one Got to the middle, set it down I'll never look at it again That is so true I can bench press around 450 pounds
Starting point is 00:16:19 One half time Just the down part The point is Until you've shit yourself And your nipples are bleeding at mile 26 You've accomplished nothing And no one wants to hear about it But listen, hear me out.
Starting point is 00:16:39 I actually agree with you, G-Rai. I do agree with you. But I'm going to do that for something to look forward to to to keep me running. Because April is still five months away. You're telling me I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing for the next five months. No, no. No, I'm not. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:16:53 I could fall off and on the bandwagon, I go three, four times. At least I'm being honest with myself. I'd like to think that I will continue being this intense. But it's because it was so short span of like four weeks. I thought, fuck. But what of the point is. I was going to make was I feel
Starting point is 00:17:10 unbelievably fitter in just four weeks running than I ever have in my whole life I couldn't even run 1K and not feel fucked a few months back and I can run 1K and I'm like I want to run more I want to run more I think that's having a target
Starting point is 00:17:25 and something to train for is huge and a lot of people do need that but I think you're going to fall in love way see how good you feel right now try and remember that because that will make you want more and that's what happens with CrossFit that's why everybody does it for so long because you just get addicted to feeling good.
Starting point is 00:17:38 Yeah, that's true. And you want it, because you know it makes you feel good, so you want to keep doing it. Yeah, I do agree. I actually didn't struggle running at all at the gym there night. Do you know what's helping us? I know we were running fast and short amount of time, but like, I felt absolutely fine doing that.
Starting point is 00:17:53 And do you know what's helping us as well because we're all together. I know. It's really good. Group motivation. And another good thing as well, what I will say is we've had loads of people messages on the podcast. Well, I have as well,
Starting point is 00:18:04 because obviously I've been putting my stuff on TikTok saying that we're really motivating them to stay fit. And I mean we can't fall off because then they'll fall off. Yeah. We've actually got a responsibility now, you see. And we've got a lovely message. We did, shall I read it out? Read it out. I had a tear in my eye
Starting point is 00:18:20 when I was listening to this morning. I just think people are so lovely. Someone, some lovely listener messages saying, you probably get loads of these and I don't want to sound like a right dick, but I thought you deserve to know. I have been loving the podcast. I don't always listen weekly, but I do catch up. Mostly when I'm doing
Starting point is 00:18:36 housework they're working from home but you girls actually lift my mood and I find myself actually laughing out loud every time I listen I don't have a big friend group at all so I don't have things to bounce off of pals but listening to you girls has somehow helped me feeling I'm not lonely. I've struggled with different stuff over the years from hormones
Starting point is 00:18:52 infertality, low confidence and absolute zero fitness and now I'm motivated Apple Watch is charge and I'm raiding to go completely waffled on but I thought you deserve to know that this is amazing. Stop! Honestly Sorry, but that's just unbelievable This is the energy that we love
Starting point is 00:19:10 And this is why we keep doing this, honestly We are here to make our shelves better And you guys better, you know? We are your friends for life That is beautiful, isn't it? Stunny. We really appreciate it when you take your time out and send and stuff like that as well
Starting point is 00:19:23 Because it keeps us going, you know? It does, right, passes that box. Oh yeah, we got a little gift. We got a delivery which I just felt was so on brand for us dirty pigs here so a lovely listener Jane Fulton has written a book
Starting point is 00:19:41 Sorry dirty pigs I just maybe I put quite a potty mouth today I don't know I love it I need back in my box Anyway it's called 30 reasons to swipe left I'm assuming left's patching Yeah you say I'd swipe right for you
Starting point is 00:20:00 wouldn't you yeah I don't really remember What a nice phrase. So anyway, she sent us both a book and in this box there was two packets of candy kittens, sour watermelon, well good ones as well
Starting point is 00:20:14 one saying a perfect snack for chapter named Jack in the Box and another one saying... Oh it hasn't got a thing on it? Was that one not got a thing on it? Oh yeah, here it is. A perfect snack for chapter named... Oh it's the same one. Oh the same one right. But she also sent
Starting point is 00:20:30 as two chocolate willie-lollies. What? So that's a big chocolate. And it says, ding-dong in there. Perfect to lick and suck in chapter named Dr. Junior will see you now. And this one's perfect to lick and suck on page 103. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:20:48 Yep. And then she also put a card in. And I just thought this was all thought out so well. The card on the front is I love the booby. Now that means penis, right? Yeah, that. means you love the dick jessica i fucking do i don't i really don't i just thought do you know what she could i just put those books in the box but she's really thought that out for the chapters
Starting point is 00:21:12 because you know what that really that enticest me to want to read the book yeah me too because i'm like wow what is in these filthy chapters and i think that is a good book to get me into reading because that'll be like almost like wee short stories about yes like little short stories about dates yeah so it's not like the pressure to get 100 pages into chapter. And I'm just actually looking at one of the chapter titles here. Sucks, cocks and broken vaginas. Anyway, she wrote
Starting point is 00:21:38 as a card saying, to Zoe and Jess, I absolutely love your pod and look forward to it every week. I know you both love a laugh, so thought my book would be ideal for you both. The contents give a hint of what each chapter is about, and trust me, it's all true. I wish it wasn't. Oh my God. So this is all her stories. Is she from Scotland?
Starting point is 00:21:55 I think she might be. I wanted to make people laugh and relate to my dating disasters. However, I'm not quite sure people would have experienced some of the dates I've been on. They are one of a kind. Enjoy, love Jane. Wow, Jane, you dirty bitch! I'm going to make a commitment that I will read this book and tell you all how it is.
Starting point is 00:22:16 That might be in two years' time. But you know what? It might have been two months' time, you never know. But I will let you know how it is. Do love me a candy kitten. I know, I actually don't think you can beat them. They're my favourite. Wow.
Starting point is 00:22:30 Right then, let's get right in and a bootit! I'm sorry, but G. G's left us. She's sick of our shit. He's fucked off. Where that is G? I don't know. Oh, he's back.
Starting point is 00:22:47 Right. Anyway. Anyway, we wanted to discuss this dilemma, a podcast dilemma, which doesn't involve our podcast, but we feel quite strongly about it. And if you listen to the girl's bathroom... Which I don't. I don't personally, but you do. I don't either. Now's the time to say I don't actually listen to podcast really at all now.
Starting point is 00:23:07 I mean, I go through stages but, you know, it's not like, I'm more a music game. But what I will say is, have listened to this. No, I've listened to this because we were talking about it in the group chat. So anyway, long story short, they always do like kind of boy drama dilemmas, like friendship dilemmas, that kind of thing, every episode. So they've had someone write in about their friend. Yeah. about their own friend.
Starting point is 00:23:31 I mean, was it? We don't know. This is what we can dissect. Well, true actually. So anyway, this said friend has been away working and met a guy who then she has then ended up with... On Yacht Week, which they said on the podcast was like a yacht club thing. It's not.
Starting point is 00:23:49 Yacht Week is basically like a big, big, Holly went on it, a big party. And you just go on like yachts and just fuck about in all different places. Like Magalith but on a yacht. Yeah. basically but the yacht's kind of like all parked and you just jump in and get pissed and sleep on a yacht. Right, okay sounds like in my fail. Because they were saying it was a stagdo and that's what it was
Starting point is 00:24:10 it would be a big thing. Right and was it the guy's stagdo that's involved in this? Apparently, well I don't know because I don't even know if they're married. Not what they are engaged. Oh so maybe then? Anyway there was a stagdo and this guy was on it whether he was a stag or not I can't remember but she met him on this yacht week and they ended up likeing each other but nothing had happened.
Starting point is 00:24:29 so far, I believe. So anyway, she goes back to Australia where she's from and she's telling her pals about this and then she's going to meet him in Spain and going to meet him in all these different places. And he lives in Dubai with his said fiancé? Yeah. So these friends are not for it at all because you're just that side girl like this isn't going to go anywhere.
Starting point is 00:24:46 Like what you're doing is not okay, blah, blah, blah. And she's like, no, but we really love each other and like is very invested in the situation. All these get this group of friends, there's three of them that live in Australia are meant to move in together but now she said he's going to move here and move in with us
Starting point is 00:25:01 and he'll pay the bills because he's rich right is that what they said I didn't hear that bit so then they're all like well one we don't agree with what you're doing two the agreement
Starting point is 00:25:10 wasn't to live with a guy so like they're not for this and they're the people that have wrote in about their friend yeah so anyway long story short the girl who they're talking about
Starting point is 00:25:20 who is the fiancé has got a huge following on an Instagram a million followers in Dubai so people were and she's English. Right. And they've both got like big businesses together. So they'll be well
Starting point is 00:25:32 known in Dubai. So we're all listening to this and the specialization. She's like she's English. She's moved to Dubai. She's got a dog. I think they might have said she's in fitness or something. She's got these businesses. His job is solely solely her like sidekick. Like he works for her businesses. Yeah. It must be like it must be big if it's landed than my world. Because I've seen people posting up something about like searching for a girl in Dubai with a million plus It's like a load of you like something like that. That's what it is. Yeah. So this dilemma, long story short, this dilemma's ended up on Tiberia and Chinzias and Box.
Starting point is 00:26:06 They've read it out on their podcast and then loads of people are doing TikTok. Can we just say they didn't say any names. They changed all the names as they always do. But they disclosed all of this information about this person's life. So like where she's from. There was also very intense details of when they then met up. And locations. That was the first time they actually slept together. and it took them a while and now they're in love and it.
Starting point is 00:26:29 Very, very intricate details. And they also, this is the bit I clocked, they also were sent the girl's profile and his. So they could see on the podcast looking at her like, oh. Yeah, like whilst they were speaking through it, they were looking at the girl
Starting point is 00:26:43 who is the fiancé. Now that bit for me, that bit didn't see it right with me. I was like, right. Because what's now happened is there's all this speculation, it's all over TikTok. The girl has obviously now found out and now she's put out
Starting point is 00:26:57 a statement saying I found out through this podcast I've now left them like please like give me privacy like this is the I couldn't believe her statement it was like there's been speculation it's been speculation and yes it is true and I was like oh my heart broke for her and his profile went private yeah and uh I don't know I feel it's a it's a it's a funny one isn't it because I think they're meant to get married like next year as well that's all in the works she's gorgeous as well and the girls I think it was TikTok that blew it up massively obviously because they were like right let's all investigate together and in the comments everyone's like it's this I don't even think we should say
Starting point is 00:27:32 a name but like they said this person's name and they were all everyone's liking it and obviously then I go on to this person's Instagram and I'm like oh my god it's savage and then when she announced it was true I thought I actually really bad for her because she said I'm obviously devastated but I'm devastated to find out in this way can you actually imagine like how you would feel well we were talking about it
Starting point is 00:27:54 because obviously like you guys write in us right and like maybe not on that scale yet but i wouldn't read that out or we would start reading it and then it would be like no i don't think we should yeah i don't feel comfortable about doing this yeah and i just i don't know i just feel like the problem is what i have to in sophia inchancey's defense i don't know if this is true but the scale of their podcast i would imagine they wouldn't read out dilemmas until it was put in front of them because i would imagine a production team would filter it through to them yeah but even then like there's a there's a gap between the recording and putting it out even if you read it out and then the time you looked at the profile
Starting point is 00:28:29 there must have been a there must have been a discussion at some point post-production like should we shouldn't we yeah I know I agree and they've actively I don't know anything about this podcast I'm just saying there must have been a discussion like oh is that a bit much and they've actually decided to put that out yeah and legs were like no Zoe I know for a fact we would have cut that out if it was us I just know we would have disclosing that someone who is easy to find because they've just told them ever and about them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:55 It's been like severely cheated on by a fiancé. We wouldn't do that. That's got to be a decision where you're actually, I'm going to go next level here and make they've actively done that and knowing that it would blow up to the fucking level it did. Yeah. Knowing the fact that she has got millions of followers and you're trying to use that to their advantage,
Starting point is 00:29:09 which I think is quite sneaky. And their views on that podcast must be through the roof, by the way. But listen, I've been trying to sit and think about like different things here. Right. Part of me thought is this like a PR thing? Part of me thought, I don't know, like, I'm going to be honest of you, I'd never, ever heard of this girl in my life. No, I have none. And what I will say is now, God forbid, I know it wouldn't be a lie, but let's say they wouldn't make this up because why would he want to ruin his career like that?
Starting point is 00:29:38 That's why I'm thinking, like, why would he? He's not going to come out good in any way of this. But what I will say for her is, thank fuck he's been caught for a start and you didn't marry him. Yeah. Because what a scumbag. But also, everyone now knows who you are. and 99.9% of people because there's some fuckers out there
Starting point is 00:29:55 will have your back and we'll support you in your career now loads of people have followed her her career is just going to boom from this she's only going to be better I know that sounds like a weird way of looking at it but I do feel like she's going to really really benefit from this
Starting point is 00:30:07 well someone who's in that line of work will look at things that way yeah luckily it could have been a strategic decision even for him I can't be bought with this anymore let's go all in on you I'll take a back seat so how do we go from both of it to just you
Starting point is 00:30:21 I'll just sit back. Here's a scandal. Yeah. But I do just think, like, I actually do really like Sophia and Chindy like YouTube and stuff like that over their podcast, but I do just think they should have been like we could just message this girl and tell her. Yeah, that's what's going to ask you. Would you have done that?
Starting point is 00:30:38 You know, if we didn't know this person at all, would you say, by the way, I've got a podcast, I live in the UK, I got sent in this dilemma, I need you to read it. Do you think they would even, do you think, would you do that? I would like to think we would. I would hope someone would do that to me, but... I know me too, but I just don't know if I would just completely not mention it to stay out of it.
Starting point is 00:30:56 Yeah. Like, you've got a bit of this as well, a bit of responsibility in the fact that people could use that in the opposite way if they were, say, trying to ruin somebody. Yeah, I know. And try and, like, try and cover up as it's just a dilemma I was looking for advice, but put just enough detail in it
Starting point is 00:31:12 where people would know who they're talking about. Yeah. But it could be complete nonsense and they're just trying to ruin somebody or big somebody up. Yeah. I also have had a feeling that. Let's say this whole thing, is true, that you know
Starting point is 00:31:23 the friends of this girl that they claim it is surely to fuck that girl is going to find out, why are you writing into a podcast for? So I don't think they've got any friends. I reckon it's the girl. I think she's wanted him that all this time she's thinking, he's promised me the world for so long and he's not done it and I'm
Starting point is 00:31:39 going to get him, I'm going to ruin his whole life. I know because imagine I was writing into someone about some podcast about like jelly for example. You just wouldn't do it. Especially with that much detail. Yeah. I think it's that. And they use names like they sent in their actual names of the girl so like they were using that group of names but just not naming they even sent in pictures of them three uh-huh i know it's fucking
Starting point is 00:32:02 wild honestly like i just find it but the silver line in ears and this is what i'm trying to say like i understand people probably going to come for sophia and chintzion it and that's harsh as well but like i feel like at least she bloody knows it's so shit how she's found out it is and i feel like Nothing but good is going to come for her now. Karma is going to come in a good way for her. And I do think their podcast is at a level where they need their discussions to be quite big and juicy and like whatever.
Starting point is 00:32:30 So they probably probably did just see it that way but then they've maybe not thought. They probably haven't thought it through. That it will blow up this much and whatever but at the same time I'm like I just think we as people would have read that and been like we cannot say that. No.
Starting point is 00:32:43 Because someone will know. Someone knows someone that knows someone like half of the blood of the UK living Dubai now. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. And do you know what it was? I think if we'd been sent the profile because they said they'd got it,
Starting point is 00:32:54 I think then we would have been like, no, we need to stay at this. We actually know who they are. And all of our friends would be like, who is it then, who is it then? No, I couldn't. They would have. And it eventually would have got out.
Starting point is 00:33:02 No, I think if they'd never got sent any of the profiles and less detail than Fairfax, but it was too much. I just think that's quite a scandal for all involved. But listen, she knows now. That is the main thing. Anyway, a completely different topic of conversation that we do and you need to discuss those wee shop.
Starting point is 00:33:20 Yeah, gee, I love this. You had? No. Well, I need to go back to an episode a year ago and listen to what I said back then. Pretty much. You do. But this is actually just a shame for us right
Starting point is 00:33:34 because people have been getting all their money out and now they've put a stop at it. They've said that they're not releasing any funds until they're on the stock market. that's what they've done and I mean the thing is no one's lost money here there's no point
Starting point is 00:33:51 being upset and also they won't they will have to give some money out eventually I mean they sponsored Soccerade for Christ's sake yeah but they might not ever pay out of money
Starting point is 00:34:01 and nobody's lost anything but you know what they have gained all the data and that data is worth a fortune never think of that that's the only reason it exists they get shopping data consumer data
Starting point is 00:34:13 and that's what they sell on So they've got all of that now They've got a year's worth of consumer data That they can sell in the open market for Millions, maybe even billions What sneaky little McSneakerson's by the way I reckon there's more like to it than that We didn't really read the
Starting point is 00:34:29 We just read the top line shit I would not have cared if it was starting from like January From being completely honest Because I would have just liked my stuff in December To get paid out I need to just tell you something I had something Let me just go on my app now
Starting point is 00:34:41 Pist off Our things were in the first first week of December. That's like we're so close yet so far. Matched first purchase we shop available in two days. How average is that and that was £512
Starting point is 00:34:56 £1,000 a book on booking.com? That's their statement, by the way. And they're saying you won't get that now. Well, I don't know, it still says available in two days but my shares will be available in two days. Yeah, the shares are worthless unless the company, when it goes public it depends what the IPO is and sees what the share price is
Starting point is 00:35:13 when it goes public. Yeah, so it's five £112 £68 and 86.16 shares available in two days. And the next, all the other ones are like available in two months, available in five months, available in four months. Yeah, same. Anyway, let's see. My next week's episode, I'll see. I'll see if I can withdraw that. Yeah, I know.
Starting point is 00:35:36 Because there might have been a cutoff date, might in there. There might have been in the small print. I feel like surely. Yeah. I mean, there can't be no date at all that they've started at first. but maybe it was just yeah, true actually instant
Starting point is 00:35:48 and that was the date have you seen with the latest I was going to say scam but I mean we spoke about a lot about
Starting point is 00:35:54 MLMs like multi-level marketing you see in the latest one if they thinks is the new thing what beer on travel agent
Starting point is 00:36:01 oh I get I get them all the time do that's the new bullshit I get them all the time because I like because my page is about travel
Starting point is 00:36:08 the amount of DMs I was like hey Jess I know you like travelling have you ever thought that I'm like fuck off
Starting point is 00:36:13 no no do you know what happened to me I mean, maybe I shouldn't say this in case the listener shut them and maybe I'm getting the wrong end of the stick. Someone did message me saying like, hey say like where's your jacket from
Starting point is 00:36:25 right? It was something like that and then I just told them and then they sent me a message like that and I was like you sneaky sneaky bastard Oh that's it's the new because usually they just go for it and send you the annoying message straight away but I was like you didn't even want to know of my jacket from my jacket from Regina George
Starting point is 00:36:39 fucking mean girl I'm not mean? I was like you seen there's new mean girls coming out. I thought that was just an advert for Amazon or something. No, there's a new mean girl's film coming out. It'll be a little to shite. But I saw it in the... Is it their kids? No, it's just like a remake. Why? I know. I saw it in the cinema adverts. Also, did I speak about this last week when I went to see Hunger Games? No, you didn't. Did I dub it anyway? Everyone should go see it's really good. Yeah, you loved that, didn't you? It's all I have to say about it. I also say
Starting point is 00:37:08 I started watching the new Squid game. I've never watched it. What? Never watched it. Zoe, it is Hands down where you're on the best Netflix things I've ever watched. That is off-brand for me. I'm not into that. Oh. It is. I'm not in the dub sense. It's not bad though.
Starting point is 00:37:23 I'm the same. I don't like watching things up, but this is watchable. It is good. I wouldn't have noticed that, to be fair. But so it must be a good dub. But the new Squid Games, it's a game show, Zoe.
Starting point is 00:37:35 It's real people. It's like a Scouseman in it. Oh, is that what it is? Yeah. I didn't know that. I thought it was Squid Games too, but it's not. It's real people going for 4.5 million pounds.
Starting point is 00:37:44 And they shoot them, but they've got like a little fake blood thing in their heart and it's goes, boom, and they have to pretend to die and fall on the floor. And they all sleep in the dorms, it's very dramatic, but... How do you apply to be on that? I don't know. I would love to go on something like that. Like, I would just love to go on, like, some sort of game show. I think it'd be a buzz.
Starting point is 00:38:02 Yeah, it would, wouldn't it? adrenaline through the roof. And what else did you? You've been watching the jungle, I've not. But you like that, don't you? You all buzz off that. I mean, only because it gives me something to watch every night. I think that's the only reason. I mean, off all, I will not watch every episode.
Starting point is 00:38:16 This is the girl, by the way, that said two weeks ago, you'll need to get alive if you can sit down every night and watch them at 9pm. Do you remember that? Yeah. Right, to be fair, right, I've done it for four days. I don't know, like, I missed last night, so I catch up, no.
Starting point is 00:38:32 We're not going to watch it tonight because we are working our little tithies off all of today, in case anyone's interested. So, that's probably, like, that's probably the street gone. Yeah. But I do just, I like when there's something on that I can watch every night if I'm available. But I just know people don't miss an episode.
Starting point is 00:38:52 And I'm like, how are you never out at 9 o'clock? Ever? No, I can't commit to that. Our brain says no. But I do just think there's good people in it this year for our kind of, like, people we know. A lot of the time, I don't know who they are. Do you think Sam Thompson's genuine?
Starting point is 00:39:07 This is very controversial, but, like, he's so OTT and, like, out there and happy. Do you think he's like that all the time? I don't know if he'd be like that all the time but I do think the way he comes across the way he is Dreck him? Like how could you be bothered? Was it like that made in Chelsea as well? Kind of. Was he?
Starting point is 00:39:26 I'm asking a genuine question because I don't really invest too much in his stuff but I see his content with my Pete Wicks and I do think the Pete Wicks and him is more of like a character thing like Pete being so angry all the time I don't think he genuinely is that angry as he makes out. No, he definitely not and also his things that he actually doesn't like Sam and like he hates me he makes him do all these things but
Starting point is 00:39:46 I saw him doing a TikTok dance with Zara last night in pajamas like I think that it is obviously just for them to make funny videos but I watched it came up on TikTok or something it was him thanking the listeners for like 100,000 Instagram followers
Starting point is 00:40:03 or something did you see that? No. Because Sam's not there obviously because he's in the jungle so Pete was doing it on his own and he was like right thanks very much for a following and then he kept saying to the producer
Starting point is 00:40:13 you're like, what does I have to say? Like, why didn't you say that? And that was obviously all in act. I was like... Yeah, like... It kind of isn't funny anymore because, like, we obviously know... You've been in a show business many years, mate,
Starting point is 00:40:23 you know what you're saying on camera. You wouldn't be in a podcast with someone if you didn't actually want to do it. I know that's just like their relationship, so I think sometimes it works but sometimes I'm like right too far. Yeah. Because they kept like...
Starting point is 00:40:32 They were like, be happier, Pete. Like, kind of like what you say to me. Yeah. But then he was just like, all right, um, thanks very much for the 100,000 thousand followers. Like, is that an... enough. Just for their podcast? Yeah, but they just kept getting them to redo it and it was like quite a funny watch
Starting point is 00:40:47 but I'm like it's kind of cringy because I know how staged it is. Yeah, right, I get it, okay. Anyway, I do think Sam is like that but I'm just not sure like you never know, do you? No. Someone needs to tell him, tell us if they've like worked with him or met him before or something like that because that's when you would know. Yes. The real true.
Starting point is 00:41:04 I want to know, look at he really is a true super fan to all these people. I know. I think he probably is. but I don't know I quite like to see the good until someone tells me otherwise yeah anyway I feel like
Starting point is 00:41:19 we can finish on a high note and you want to know what that a high note is what everyone or just probiotics whoo last night can I just say one thing right I listen back to our
Starting point is 00:41:31 you're pissed at this I listened back to our episode last week where we all you said you were fitter from last year's workout and we all clapped I clapped I clapped
Starting point is 00:41:40 I listened back and I clapped with us and I thought I fucking lost it I thought you meant yeah I clapped when we were doing it and I was like I know I listened back and clapped I didn't know what's funny I was stuck at traffic lights as well and I was like woo oh thanks forking that actually
Starting point is 00:42:04 yeah I was but I want to know if anyone else clapped with us and I'll tell us if you clapped I hope you didn't but anyway I get in Jessie's car last night and I was like fucking just a terrible time after my dinner there as I always do and obviously just need to share it with everyone
Starting point is 00:42:20 needs to know and then she was like have you ordered for a biotics yet and I was like I can't go through this conversation again I know it's actually more painful for you because I've just not done it anyway they've been up on my
Starting point is 00:42:32 like Safari tabs ever since someone sent me these specific ones and I look at them all the time but I've just never clicked purchase I don't know why Anyway, you'll be glad to know that I've done it. Yep. So, let's see.
Starting point is 00:42:43 And you've been trying to ring the doctors as well, haven't you, every morning, but... Oh, what is this? Just past 8 o'clock and then they're like... What is this thing? And you ring it? Eight on the dot. Then you're in a queue of 45 people, so I don't have the patients.
Starting point is 00:42:56 And I don't have... I cannot listen to the whole tunes. Oh, yeah. That puts me in a state of anger. And then you just don't get an appointment that day. and it's just the same thing over and over. It's like, what chance have you got? But anyway, I have compiled everyone's suggestions and messages
Starting point is 00:43:15 to look through them all, and I'm starting to, you know, make change. So 2024, it's over for all you bitches. It fucking is just you wait. And we're going to gym after this, aren't we? We're going to pump some light. And she's going to put us for our paces in a few weeks. We're going to have a PT with Jim. He's going to show us how to sled pull and sled push properly.
Starting point is 00:43:36 Like those, aren't you? I'm stuck that, do you? No, you're not. Right, let's book off. See you on Trayden. Bye! Bye!
