Starting point is 00:00:00 Happy Tuesday. How are we doing? Sisters and brothers on this fun, lovely, rainy Tuesday in Glasgow. How are we? It's not raining. It is. It's quite nice. I think the sun's got to come out. Maybe while the time this comes out, I'll be raining because something is going to be over.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Hello. How are we? So he said she's refusing to do the end. intro going forward because me and she ripped the piss out of her last week so well i just feel like i got moaned that for not being enthusiastic enough and then when i gave enthusiasm you just laughed she's a little bit low today so i've said to like what's your problem come on my social battery's just non-existent she's just sat there and said to me and graham someone removed it from my body that she doesn't she's at that stage where she doesn't only person that she cares about is jason she doesn't even want
Starting point is 00:00:54 friends anymore it's like great not that emoji you know where it's got no nose and it's just the the lips I'm kidding. That's just what happens when you come back for my girl's holiday I think. Yeah, I do know what you mean and we were with each other last night as well
Starting point is 00:01:11 so I love it What is her actually saying as you're sick at each other No Or Zoe's secretly saying she's sick at you I'm genuinely not sicker Do you hate me?
Starting point is 00:01:29 Come on I think I just need I'm not really hard a day at home since I get back you know I need to just
Starting point is 00:01:36 be at home for all the rest of today and then I'll be fine yeah I'm a bit bunged up now so I don't feel 100% but the show must go on
Starting point is 00:01:45 the show must go on we've got work to do it was G's birthday happy birthday G happy birthday G have you opened your card yet I haven't no open it now
Starting point is 00:01:55 oh come on now when I said I howled laughing when we were making this car. I don't think it's not even that funny but I just found it's so funny I was in the studio. You were really tickled by this.
Starting point is 00:02:12 I was petty laughing, what's about in the shop? Right, good start, Star Wars or Star Wars themed. Yes. Read it out then. Just, I don't know why, it just got me so. I just love a funny car. A long time we've won a galaxy far, far away. You were born.
Starting point is 00:02:30 that's funny enough oh fucking help thank you though I appreciate it and the Empire Biscuit that went along with it can we just say shout out to Glasgow Live for the article that we got gee was
Starting point is 00:02:46 it made his year that you posted about his Empire Biscuit rating but we had a really nice article didn't we from Glasgow Live so whoever wrote that thank you big shout out to Plant Blonde and Schwama King as well yeah I feel like
Starting point is 00:02:59 when you sent it into the chat or wherever it came from we were in the middle of getting ready and Ibiza and I wasn't really paying attention and then I read it on the way to wherever we were going and I kept saying to the girls I was on the taxi with oh and it says this
Starting point is 00:03:13 oh it says that oh it also says this so it was buzzing yeah it was cute and we've hit 8000 followers on our lovely Instagram thank you so much keep following us at a lot on your plate and we've been told we're at over 400,000 downloads That's no half a melly mill.
Starting point is 00:03:31 Madness. We're doing well. So, let's start with our first little mini, small business shoutout, aka I'm fucking starving. I need to eat something ASAP before I collapse. Cad Sal Bakery, Hamilton. I mean, I would say Cadzo, but... Cazzo!
Starting point is 00:03:55 Cazoo! Cazoo. I can't say that. Not a zoo. Cadzo. Cadzo. It's got a W at the end. Howl.
Starting point is 00:04:06 Cazau. Anyway, we've got a big, massive... Whatever you're called. Huge. I'm about to shove your cinnamon bun in my god. Wow. I like how it's got the icing on it as well. What is this called?
Starting point is 00:04:23 Cinnamon's swirl. An ice cinnamon spole. This is the biggest thing I've ever seen. It looks like a small mountain. Show the galley's. And it also picked up a yum yum, which looks like a loaf of bread, I would say. Thank goodness.
Starting point is 00:04:37 I think that's what they're known for, the cinnamon swirles. I can see why. They'd load sitting in the window. We used to actually go there when he'd Stephen Halberton and get some nice bread. Anyway, I couldn't eat all that right now, but I'm not going to because... Save it for after and save people's ears. Yeah. So, we have something exciting to announce.
Starting point is 00:04:56 This podcast is sponsored. Oh, can I get a woo, yeah Go on Zari Take over Yeah, I need to say it because your accent doesn't I can't do it justice, I'm sorry Doesn't work with the name of this restaurant This podcast is sponsored by
Starting point is 00:05:15 Ghost Ghosts Ghosts Well, we've done a bit of research and I think it is Ghost Yeah I think it's just ghost Ghost with no H
Starting point is 00:05:27 Yeah That's just how it is and if you are on a bit like me it's like gossed and it's a luxury steak and seafood restaurant located in the heart of Glasgow it's actually two second walk from central station which last night I noticed because when I went there before I drove but I got the train last night didn't we because we wanted a few cocky cockies and it was two second walk it was perfect very good location and then you've got a few nice bars around if you want more drinks after I'd say yes but this I think this is where the social battery is low because
Starting point is 00:05:59 we went straight after Ibiza really. We did. But it really filled the gap. It really filled the gap. It really worked for what I needed. So ghost, it has the finest cuts of grass-fed, former dairy, cattle and pure bread, Angus beef from sustainable
Starting point is 00:06:14 Scottish farms, as well as fresh seafood and an extensive selection of cocktails and wines. Can I just say the wine glass was Rimpon. If you know me, you know I love a wine glass. I love rimming a wine grass. No, but the rim and the stem on a wine grass is key.
Starting point is 00:06:36 No, it is. You want it to actually feel like it could snap in your mouth. But also, Jess was saying last night that... You wanted to what, sorry? There's snap in your mouth when you're drinking it. She wants the rim to snap in her mouth. But you were saying last night that you can't believe no one's picked up on your rim porn yet
Starting point is 00:06:55 and hasn't started sending you glass. Yes. So this is everyone's polite nudge. Yeah, but I mean to really top quality wine grasses, the ones that you get from that hand-blown glass in like France. Yeah, so none of you have... I don't want of Amazon. Yeah, they're not going to be in your house. It's basically what she's saying.
Starting point is 00:07:13 But if you're out and about, Jess would like to see it. Yeah, just send me it. Basically, the base of the wine glass, there'll be a little branded name. Just send me a little picture because I had an amazing one on Ibithra as well, but we can get to that. Anyway, back to the scrum. So to start with, they just brought us loads of. They have snacks that you can get really quick if you're starving and then it goes into like starters.
Starting point is 00:07:36 Yeah. So we had snails. Wow. They were nice though. Which we looked at for quite a long period of time. It had a bit of everything else and weren't actually going to do it. But then the lovely waiter convinced us and they were lovely. You're not going to try anything like these.
Starting point is 00:07:54 With bread. And then we're not going to try anything like these. and we had bread with, how would you describe the butter? I'm going to find it for you. So you had the sliced sourdough bread with whipped beef butter. I can only describe it to you as it's the softest, saltiest butter with like crispy, skinny bits on top. Oh, it's absolutely stunning.
Starting point is 00:08:14 But I had that the last time. The olives there as well are exceptional. Really nice, big, thick olives. We had chorizo and scallop on toast. gorgeous very garlicky yeah they also do these homemade truffle chip sorry homemade truffle crisps they were delicious
Starting point is 00:08:35 they were really really good and I'm not actually a massive a massive she's not really a must have a massive truffle fan but they were good it wasn't too overpower it was nice and subtle there needs to be a nice balance with a truffle I think so then when it came to mains we said
Starting point is 00:08:53 we we agreed is because Jason came with us as well, we're like, we're going to agree here that, and we all know that Jason's a little bit fussy, but you cannot have the same dish as us. We've got to try different things. I'd had the burger before, which is outrageously good. So I said, I'm not going to have that this time, but I highly suggest that one of you do. So I had the burger and it was like smashed, two smashed patties. There's two super thin, smashed crust patties with a sesame seeded briosh, crispy bacon, bacon
Starting point is 00:09:24 mayonnaise, homemade wheat, beer, cheese sauce and skinny fries. And they also have vegan and veggie alternatives for that burger as well, which I think is really good. Yeah, I would recommend that. Jason then had the Chateaubleau. Chateau Brin.
Starting point is 00:09:40 To himself. Yep. Shall we mention? Which he always does. He always does that when we go out. Likes to himself. He likes a lot of meat. And he had with that, the which he wouldn't stop talking about which was like so creamy I tried a bit yeah the mash was unreal
Starting point is 00:09:56 he was actually dipping his steak into that if that explains how creamy it was with the triple cooked chips and pepper sauce oh the sides we had we had the well what did you have Truffle doffin-ois potatoes as a side and the mac and cheese
Starting point is 00:10:11 I went for quite different for me but I love a chicken Kiev right but on the menu they have a Hake Kiev Hake is a really nice meaty white fish So I had the Hake Kiev with fried garlic butter, green beans, tomato puree and truffle
Starting point is 00:10:27 hollandies. It was really good. It did look great. And I had a glass of Primitivo red wine in the perfect winegrass. How good was the guy that came over with the cocktails, by the way? Yeah, that's what I was going to say. The service was so good.
Starting point is 00:10:42 Like, spoke us through everything on the menu, food-wise, which I know people think it's a given, but you don't get that a lot of places. Secondly, the guy came over like, he's up for some booze and obviously we were like, absolutely. Do bear shit in woods. He got us the cocktail menu out and then basically asked us what we like to drink.
Starting point is 00:11:03 Yeah. Which I find so helpful because cocktails, I find that a bit overwhelming sometimes. Yeah. And if there's one thing in it that doesn't really, like I don't really know what it is or I wouldn't usually choose, it puts me off the whole cocktail, if you know what I mean? So we basically said, I like vodka mainly, Jason likes of the acro. a new light tequila kind of base things so we ended up going for well i went for the spectre which was absolute vodka orange pomegranon and and tocage no idea not sure what that is
Starting point is 00:11:37 but it came and it was black which i was about like i'm scared flash his phone on it and it sparkled and it's sparkled and when you like swirled it around it was all glistening and sparkling and sparkles it was actually really delicious and then jason went for the i don't think i'm pronouncing this right but like posy don't anyway it's the last one on the cocktail menu and it's got dacary underneath and that was havana lichy orange lime maple and coconut ice and that came and it was like the coconut ice melts as you drink it and then it like switches the drink around and almost changes the taste yeah anyway he loved it and what was one you got again there's a keener one basilisk that's it and that was horse with no name
Starting point is 00:12:21 melon basil honey char truce and lime wow but anyway they are definitely a specialist in cocktails so if you're really a cocktail
Starting point is 00:12:31 love and you like some great craftmanship in a cocktail then you need to go there because there was a lot more cocktails than just that where you'd just pick from the classic cocktails
Starting point is 00:12:39 yeah I think they do that thing where it's like the cocktail's almost a bit of an experience if you mean like they're very passionate of how it looks
Starting point is 00:12:48 and tastes and like that way you could swirl and it glistened all the ice turns and all that kind experimental and ghost is also the same company as another amazing restaurant that I absolutely love the Duke's umbrella thank you so much for sponsoring this episode we have loved it and it was a very wonderful experience for all of us involved I'd definitely go back and please let us know if you go I like to know if people yeah do what we recommend you know I thought obviously a lot of foodies on Instagram and when it first opened that's when I went as well I've been I think that was like my second or third time I went but
Starting point is 00:13:22 they all love it as one of their top as well so yeah brilliant definitely go okay moving on let's talk about Ibitha just briefly let's talk about what was a lot on our plate one more there
Starting point is 00:13:40 emotionally physically let's talk physically quickly while we'll just stay saying on the food and you give me your top two things you eat ate in Iwether right or restaurants okay
Starting point is 00:13:54 so one of my top things I would say was at Cala gracionetta gorgeous yep and it was the paella what did they do to that burnt it I think but like
Starting point is 00:14:08 in a good way yeah like on purpose and it had a sort of like I always say smoky because that's not right but it was like crispness and it was a seafood one so it had prawns, mussels
Starting point is 00:14:20 which I love and it just had a sort of like char grilled. Is that maybe the word? Yeah. As if it was done in a barbecue. It was beautiful. I really enjoyed that. And then I would say maybe I'm torn by the way because
Starting point is 00:14:35 I didn't actually get this but I tried yours. I wonder what you're going to do that? And I'm quite against these as you know I don't like C-Bs. But as I say. Akeye? Yeah, I say. Fuck knows.
Starting point is 00:14:49 Jess got one at our hotel, Oku, and I was like, the last thing I would want when I'm on holiday, hung over or drinking is a fucking bowl of seeds. Anyway, I tried it, and wow.
Starting point is 00:15:00 I told you, I don't see you wrong ever. It is the best thing I've ever had. No, I know, but see, even there, that wasn't like, see when you see pictures of them elsewhere, all you can see is seeds a lot of the time. Like, that's what it's covered in,
Starting point is 00:15:13 and I liked how that was just in, maybe like an eighth wee section to the side so you can add it in if you want or not which I did and it was great but the main thing was like what do you call it
Starting point is 00:15:25 it's not like it was kind of like ice cream it was like a sorbet that's what I love about an aside bowl if they get the consistency right it's not like liquid it was more thick
Starting point is 00:15:33 creamy ice cream texture but then the quality of like the seeds hazelnuts or the goji berries the honey they had banana strawberry everything on it it was just I love
Starting point is 00:15:45 textures in my mouth and that was the best. Actually, interesting. Rayam! Getting a lot this episode. There's been a lot of Innu and news. But I, I loved it. And I think that would change my mind on it, you know.
Starting point is 00:16:03 Sorry. What was that you just done then? I sniffed up and it was just not okay. Yeah, the Sibol, Oku, unbelievable. my favourite restaurant was Casamaka without a doubt been at the top of my hit list that I've wanted to go for so long quite expensive but not anywhere near expensive when you actually think about it
Starting point is 00:16:28 I think when you go there and you're told that you have a minimum spend you're a bit like oh fucking hell but then every other restaurant that you go to that week you kind of end up spending that anyway so it's just it's easily done Casamaca it's basically a farm to table restaurant if you're sat in the middle of nowhere it's quite remote all the farm is around again really good
Starting point is 00:16:50 high quality sustainable meat they have the best according to them beef on the island and it was very good fish was amazing we had the sea bass but basically one of the girls in our group was a vegetarian and she ordered quite a lot of the starter dishes which were veggie like a leek an aubergine just that's what it said on the menu but it came with unbelievable things like dressing sauces, coconut, pine nuts, soy sauces. Yeah, like I was saying it, the group, I can't stress enough how not one thing that we got for starters or even sides, would I even have known what that was in the menu?
Starting point is 00:17:28 But like, I tried it all and loved it. Because it's all the share, the idea of the menu was sharing. And yeah, unbelievable. And I guess I suppose because they're growing stuff there and then. It's so fresh. They're cooking it over a barbecue. The service was amazing. That was kind of similar to what we were saying about the pie.
Starting point is 00:17:43 nail in a way because even we got like sweet potato and even that had sort of like charred grilled like salt almost on the top of it. Everything had that sort of barbecue. Yeah. Kind of feel and I love that. Yeah, it's really nice. So yeah, I definitely recommend if you go to Ibiza, I've got a lot of favorite restaurants to be fair, but our two favorites were definitely Casamaca and Calagascaneta. Calagascaneta is more a beach club. Casamaca definitely go for more like day to night because it looks over Ibitha Town. So, So you can experience it in the day and then all the lovely cute little lights
Starting point is 00:18:17 and the ambiance comes on and yeah, we loved it there didn't we? They had a little DJ as well so still quite... Vibe. Baby, yeah, not like serious set-down meal, you know. And the wine glass there, I took a picture of it and I'll share it to the story.
Starting point is 00:18:31 I've never had anything like it. It was bigger than the head, wasn't it, Zoe? Yeah, it was. Great. I'll take a picture of you. It was fucking huge. And you got a lot of wine in it but you did manage to have three glasses.
Starting point is 00:18:41 I did. I was wrecked. I was. we went around 9ithetown after and I was steaming I was like woohoo Like I just sat to eat the one drink Like this was our last night Bearing reminds we kind of had planned to just have
Starting point is 00:18:53 Nice dinner and I stought about it And like not have a wild one and anything And I just sat to wait the one drink Basically the whole dinner and like water And I just keep remembering you were saying Can I have another glass of wine? Because it was so delicious I don't even know what it was yesterday
Starting point is 00:19:08 And you also had steak like that was your meal So it went It went perfect didn't it So nice combination So, yeah, that's our top two tips from Ibiza. Emotionally, I think, what kind of... What kind of happened throughout the whole trip, I suppose, was the weather? The weather.
Starting point is 00:19:26 Things just didn't go to plan of what we said, and I'm sad for us because... Not one day went to plan. No. Don't get me wrong, we had an amazing time. Casey Lights at Pasha, Casey Lights is... That was a personal performance just for us. It was. We love you, Casey Lights.
Starting point is 00:19:43 it's, you're our favourite DJ in the world, he's Lasuijian, and we were your biggest fans. I hope it was not even a slightly embarrassed how fan-girlly we were. Not at all, because when we first got, we'd been at Destino for hours, and that was amazing as well. So we were, like, quite far on,
Starting point is 00:19:58 went to Pascha, but that was, like, why we were out. That was our reason for being there. Actually, our reason for being an Ibiza, to be fair. Got to Pascha, and there was, like, no one in it, and we were like... And there he was just there, in all his glory, in the famous decks of... Pasha.
Starting point is 00:20:14 And there was no crowd really. So we just like, quick drink. We were right at the front. Like, literally like we could have touched if he allowed. And we were just screaming. And when the songs came on, like, with words. When cold lights came on and go, can I just say that he is, he's coming to Glasgow in, isn't he?
Starting point is 00:20:32 September the 20th. September the 30th. He's doing SWG3. I feel like where he's like PA, like, I don't know. But anyway, I fucking love him. But he's having his first. headlining set in his home time of Glasgow. When I say he's got such a feel-good DJ.
Starting point is 00:20:50 Every single song he does has words. You can dance to them. He's happy. And his own songs as well are really good. Cold lights, girl. Daydreamer. All of them are just the fucking best. And when they came on,
Starting point is 00:21:06 I think I was having an out-of-body experience at the wrong point. We were like screaming and like intensely staring at. I'm like, yeah. come on but he like he noticed us because you were right there like he wasn't up on like it was only raised in front of us slightly with like almost like a bit of wood in front of him like we were right there and I feel like he kept looking at us every so often just almost like smiling he was laughing fucking see you cat potts he messaged us all on Instagram after because we don't tag him and he was like you girls made made my night said it was amazing I think
Starting point is 00:21:38 everyone there like it got when we were leaving after him it was full like you had to like squeeze through the crowd. Joel Corrie. Joe Corrie came on and he started speaking through the mic and you're like, shut the fuck up. And I was like, come on guys, welcome to a fucking shut up. Come on, I be that. And then the energy, Holly
Starting point is 00:21:55 was right, the energy of the crowd changed everyone became like aggressive and it was like horrible house music and I was like, right, we're off, we got an taxi and fucked straight off, didn't we? We were there for Casey and Casey only. Casey only. So that was our high, low weather, boat trip
Starting point is 00:22:11 guys, we can't even tell you how it was, but it was completely ruined. What I will tell you is we tried. We really tried our best. So we knew it was going to be raining but the weather app did say from like two, three o'clock the sun was coming back out so we thought fuck it. We'll just go on the boat
Starting point is 00:22:27 we'll get to Bessel Beach and just make the most of it. Like you're going to get wet anyway, we're going to jump in the seat at some point. So we'll go on the boat. We've got like a hundred euro worth of fucking booze, lays, snacks, everything. and me and Holly sit on like
Starting point is 00:22:45 what do you call it like almost like the back bit you know the kind of open bit they would maybe like line someday then and I've got nice green floaty trousers on a wee dula shirt we're all feeling ourselves not I mean and then bear in mind
Starting point is 00:22:58 we had quite a disaster the night before so we were fresh as daisies yeah we just said oh we're gonna just call it a night because we're gonna have a really big busy day tomorrow so we're sitting on the end Jess Gillie and Charlotte are in the kind of main bit you know we're pouring the drinks here we go
Starting point is 00:23:14 the guys like I don't think it's going to be the best weather we're like fuck it take us there just get us there we won't stop and swim on the way we'll just get there and take it from there I would say about two minutes in I saw a lightning strike through the sky
Starting point is 00:23:30 that was the biggest thing I've ever seen my whole entire life and if you saw like artwork of a lightning strike Chelsea that's what it was it was one big zig sag from top to bottom of what I could see in front of my face and I was like oh
Starting point is 00:23:45 did anyone else see that and we thought it's fine like if we're in the middle of the fucking see what's going to happen do you know what I mean so anyway then five minutes later we're like we've got the music on and we're just we're powering through we'll get there we'll have a great day the heavens opened opened I've never like we should have just swam back
Starting point is 00:24:02 like it would have made no difference we were soaked from head to toe and like we'll share pictures but we were all towels covered over us But we still do music on, we were still drinking. You know, we really made the most of it. But we were saying to the guy, just keep going. Like, we're not bothered. It was very choppy, not to mention that.
Starting point is 00:24:21 But I was feeling quite seasick at this point as well. Yeah, you were about seasick and a bit, like, cold and fluid anyway. But it was quite choppy. But I actually think being at the back bit made it less choppy, because you only get the tail end of it, you know. But the waves were high. And then the guy eventually was like, he was fucking soaked, bless his heart. because he was obviously driving.
Starting point is 00:24:42 And he kept turning around, like, he's all okay. We were like, just keep going, like, we're fine. And eventually said, girls, I'm going to need to take you back. It's getting dangerous now. Yeah. And about two minutes before that, I'd said to Holly, do you think this is dangerous? Like, are we being stupid here? Obviously kind of laughing, thinking like, fuck it.
Starting point is 00:25:02 And she was like, no, they would never take you out. And then 30 seconds later, he's like, it's dangerous, I'm taking it back. We were like, oh, right. Here we go. So we got back and just had to go over, we were drenched. Because by the time we actually parked up, the rain was at its worst. Yeah. So then we were getting off the boat when it was literally like pushing down,
Starting point is 00:25:22 like more than words can describe. And then we were just soaked and went to a wee cafe, got some lunch, but we made the most of it. And we did. We went cafe to you now. That was nice. Eventually made her way back to the hotel. It's fun.
Starting point is 00:25:34 As soon as we got to that cafe, the sun came out. I know. And we thought, get us back on that boat. could we go back on the boat but we accepted fate and we didn't go on it so that was the boat day it was short and sweet short and sweet and then the next day we again that was ruined and we decided to get tattoos so we went to tiny tattoo in i betha can i just can i just say about this place right people rave about it and i've been twice so i'm my own worst enemy here but they aren't so fucking rude in there and so overpriced for what you
Starting point is 00:26:06 yet. Did it stop me from getting one? No, it didn't. Did I learn my lesson from last time when it completely fell out of my arm and I paid a hundred euros for it? No, it didn't. I got another one. And I really liked the tattoo and the woman that I had eventually was nice. I don't know. Get away from you. But can I just say people, if you want to go to this tiny tattoo and get your first ever tattoo, just don't. Just don't go. So yeah, I just think there's all the better places there, but if you want to go for the hype, then it's not even that nice anyway but I just don't feel hashtag not sponsored
Starting point is 00:26:38 hashtag definitely not sponsored yes very tacky she'll say but you know when you walk into somewhere and you just couldn't feel less welcome like no what there was no staff members when my first walk time kicking about to say like hi hi like
Starting point is 00:26:54 what are you after or can we help you or whatever and then even when a woman did like go and sit almost like behind like the desk she did not care about it as moment I was speaking to her it was like And I was like, I was annoying her asking to get a tattoo. She was like, on her phone, like, yeah. She was like, yes.
Starting point is 00:27:09 And I'm like, you know what? I really don't want to hand over this money to you, but I really want this tattoo because I've got nothing else to do in the rain. I know. It is one of the ones that you hate that you're like giving them the business. Yeah. We gave them it anyway. And the lady that I had that did my tattoo, actually, she was lovely.
Starting point is 00:27:24 And I'm only saying this because I went to the other one last year, because we went to a different one this year. There's two now. We went to the one in Bossa, but we went to San Antonio this time. And, yeah, they weren't nice then either. But anyway, enough of them. I have something funny to discuss. So you know how we discussed,
Starting point is 00:27:45 you know how we discussed Ascalabah language? We did that a couple of times, didn't we, on this trip, when men try and talk to you just like, a scalabar? And they're like, oh, where are they from? Never heard of that before. Where was it we said it? And it was so like.
Starting point is 00:28:00 Calagrassianette when we're walking out. There was somewhere, thought the fact that we've just done that and like it wasn't like creepy guys and I clobber it and it was like just fully out there and open someone said something we couldn't understand it and you just said it me all just looked like but anyway it got us talking about languages and stuff and this brings me on so you know how we talk about baby voices and I always when I see an animal I always say did didi-de-de-de-de-de-de-dee and I say that about my cats it gets worse every time so what we and Richard do we have to just do more high-pitched each time
Starting point is 00:28:34 So we see our cat and we're like And that's just our thing So It's a strange house It was a very strange house You're not heard Scrappy doo Scrappy do Do the whiskies
Starting point is 00:28:47 That's what we say super will is And also we've never discussed On the podcast Richard's tattoo Riches had a portrait of Owen and Wilson on his leg And I'll share on the story Anyway I think it needs more than that Yes
Starting point is 00:28:59 When we say a portrait by the way But also mean like a wee bit and you would think that their names would be enough but no that wasn't so they had to put their nicknames on which is what Super Will and Ozy Man
Starting point is 00:29:10 So We're walking For what we do When we're on holiday We walk by animals And let's say there's a big Like big bulldog We have to say it
Starting point is 00:29:20 In how we think they would say it And it would be like Do do do do do do And a little trow would be So it just goes on and on Anyway we're doing it while we're wearing Ibitha And Sean one of our friends said...
Starting point is 00:29:34 By the way, we being Jess. Me, yeah. And Holly. Holly does it too. And Jilly sometimes. So we walked by and we says, Charlotte goes, did you know that in different languages
Starting point is 00:29:45 in her sister-in-law is from Vietnam, I think? Oh no, she's from Thailand, sorry. Thailand. I can't remember. Yeah, she's got a sister-in-law from Thailand. And she says that in different languages, let's say we go woof-woof or meow, meow, they have different things for their animals.
Starting point is 00:30:01 We were like, tell us fucking everything now. So she sent me a voice note. I'm so excited. That's so funny. Right, I'm going to start with the cow. I think the cow is pretty similar to here. But we say like more, more. And for frock, we say up, up.
Starting point is 00:30:23 Up, up. And for the horse, we say he, he. and then for the dog um we say hol-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h and oh pig we say oud-od oud and um the bird will say jim-ch-chim that's quite similar but the hong-h-h-hong is a dog and oink oink is oud-oed You know what I think Like But the words we say Or the sounds we say
Starting point is 00:31:02 Are what the animals make I think a horse Just go Ney It does And a dog just go Woof Woof
Starting point is 00:31:12 Yeah I know So why But it must be to do Oh fuck no Are they translating the word Whiff As a W-O-O-F Into their language
Starting point is 00:31:21 And then saying that Possibly But then Funnily enough The next day my stepmom text me and she said here's one for you she went Zara said sign language is it the same
Starting point is 00:31:32 in different languages Spanish French and English No it won't be Why not though Because when you're doing sign language You're signing the actual what it means like happy Like that would be the same in all languages now
Starting point is 00:31:46 But isn't it also to do with what the word does for the thing you're saying In different languages that's different I'm unsure Don't look at me So if anyone can answer that question for us, please let us know. I would honestly love to be able to do sign language. Same.
Starting point is 00:32:01 I think you would just feel like a better person, aren't you? Body by Amy can do sign language, can't she? Maybe we'll ask her. She'll know. So. God, the wonders of the world, eh? That's all I want. That's my random thought of the day, really.
Starting point is 00:32:12 It's a random thought for my sister. It's too much for my brain today. No, it's not. Gee. Hello. So if you stay on to the podcast for the bonus episode, We're going to, you guys have asked us some questions to ask J's. We're going to save that for the bonus.
Starting point is 00:32:29 But somebody messaged and said that, Graham, they really love your accent. They think it's quite sexy. He's blushing. So, let's end. What do they think your accent is? Scottish scheme. Scheme?
Starting point is 00:32:47 No, there is a twang. That's because I've lived in two different countries. You do have a twang that, like, I don't have. And I think it is to make it more, like, understandable. Have you guys seen, you know, that purple burger alarm? Have you seen that new one going around that people are struggling to say? No. Okay.
Starting point is 00:33:03 I'm going to show you the word. Why can't you say it? Oh, because I wanted you to hear you say it for the first time. Is it hard for... I'm going to text at you both right now. Right. Is it hard for Scottish people specifically? No.
Starting point is 00:33:16 Or just in general? Everyone. Wrist watch Say it fast Irish wrist watch G Irish wrist watch That was pretty good actually
Starting point is 00:33:38 Iris wrist watch I've been practising now The key is to get the tea At the end of wrist And you can do it Irish No I think it's the Irish to the wrist For me
Starting point is 00:33:49 Irish Irish Irish Irish Irish Rest Watch But that's fine If you've seen it fast or fucked Yeah
