Starting point is 00:00:00 We are so excited to say that this podcast is sponsored by Watermans. Wait, the solicitors? Yeah, but they're not like regular solicitors, obviously. So not super serious and complicated? Yeah, I would say they're a bit more straightforward kind of vibe, our vibe. I can get bored with that. For straightforward legal advice, remember Watermans. Hello, hello, hello, hello, hello.
Starting point is 00:00:21 Hello, hello, hello, hello, guys. Welcome back to a lot on your plate podcasts. As you can tell, if you're looking on YouTube, we are still working on this. last minute gift guide for you it is a beast it is a beast it's an absolute beast the beast but anyway to say today we are just talking about black friday christmas gifts all the good stuff we have wrote the mammoth the biggest gift guide you'll ever probably need and you can revert back to this episode time and frigging time again this is probably the best sorted and categorized for a man we ask you guys on the stories who you struggling to buy
Starting point is 00:00:59 for and me and Zoe sort of debated in the car, there's a lot of different kind of men out there. And when we're asking our boyfriends or whoever for things that they want, most men will say the same thing. They just want aftershaves, they want overnight
Starting point is 00:01:15 stays, they want, they're very simple creatures and I think sometimes as women, we overcomplicate it for what they actually want. Yeah. And when Christmas has been and gone and the stress and all the money and the anxiety of getting the right gift, no one actually gives a flying fuck. So before we actually begin this gift guide, I hope nobody is stressing financially for Christmas
Starting point is 00:01:33 because realistically, if I'm thinking about myself, I worry so much about what I give, but I couldn't give a hoot of what I have back. Yeah. I genuinely haven't asked for one thing. In fact, I did ask Richard for a Kindle last night. I thought that would be quite good gift. That is like a good gift. But not that I would ever probably use it.
Starting point is 00:01:52 But, you know, it's the idea of being in bed and being able to still read a book as opposed to having the big light on. Yeah. Anyway, I think as women we overcomplicate things and men are simple creatures and we've just got to... What I was saying to you is I think a lot of people were saying I don't know what to buy for my boyfriend and I think you're trying to buy like an item that he can tell everyone you bought him. Like something, the way you were when you were younger and you got a new phone or, you know, like that big sort of like the main present.
Starting point is 00:02:22 Yeah. People are looking for the main present for people. You don't need to have a main present. No, you just need to. Just get them the things they like. Guys like the cute, thoughtful things just as much as us. I'm telling you that for a fact right now. Yeah, they do, actually.
Starting point is 00:02:36 You are right. Richard's birthday is on the 2nd of December, so I have to like double think this time of year. And then buy it around that Friday weekend, and then half the time it never turns up in time. I know that's going to say. But then if I might am organised, I'm wasting money because I can get it for probably 30% cheaper a week later.
Starting point is 00:02:53 Yeah, that is selfish. You have to be born out of you, actually. I know, how dare he? Why don't we start off with a few Black Friday deals? Yeah, let's do that, Zoe. You pick off, because I'm going to feel like I'm going to talk Fridays off this fricking list. So, Surrey, the toothbrush. Surrey, the toothbrush, I think, is on a lot of people's wish list, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:03:11 Yep, so that's got the case that comes with it that charges it, am I correct in saying that? Yeah, and it's got a UV light that actually gets rid of, like, germs and stuff as a travel case. It's an amazing toothbrush, to be fair. It's very aesthetically pleasing. You can hang on your mirror or whatever? Yeah, Richard really wants one. There you go. That's your first.
Starting point is 00:03:28 Yeah, that's actually the first on my man list is a surrey toothbrush. Well, there you go. Well, they're doing 25% off for Black Friday. So they are. So that's a great saving. We'll share a little link for you on that one. That's a quarter you're saving there. The White Company always do 20% off for Black Friday,
Starting point is 00:03:45 which I think is great for getting candles for people for Christmas or yourself if you're into the candles. Or even jammies, dressing gown, slippers. I mean, the White Company dressing gown is like top tier. It is. That's what I want for Christmas is a good dressing gown. Jeff Avenue? I know, that is a bit like, I'm just a girl.
Starting point is 00:04:07 I know. I would say I want more like, I would quite like maybe like a subtle, striped one or something, but like, maybe like green and white, but. I have the toweling white company one. White, big mistake because of all the tan. I wouldn't say it's that cozy. Do you know where I got one from? That was beautiful. Soho home for 39 pounds from Bista Village and it's just the softest coziest material. I've seen people talk about them actually.
Starting point is 00:04:39 Similar to I believe the Bow Avenue one is the same sort of M&S. Even Sainsbury's have got good ones in. Yeah. I'm not precious about it. I just want one that I like the look of and it's cozy. That's all I need. House coat. Dressing him. Love that.
Starting point is 00:04:55 Lounge who do all the underwear Well they start his office underwear Now they've got like Loungewear Awesome Tracksuits and stuff like that They're doing up to 70% off Quite good for any girls in your family
Starting point is 00:05:10 Or if you're a male listening Any girlfriends get some sexy underwear I could do with some new underwear Which says my underwear draw is tragic Isn't it is He's not wrong I'm just not really the match in under wear kind of gal. You'd never catch being
Starting point is 00:05:27 match underwear. I think unless I was going on overnight. Surprise! Yeah but I'm stuck it's just like I've made sure to wear black and black. It's not like groundbreaking in. And most the underwear is black anyway, so I'm usually quite black and black. Anyway,
Starting point is 00:05:46 I just think when you're a booby girl we've probably discussed this before. The match and set things just not as possible. Because you're not buying those wee like triangle sets like wee bras you need like a bra yeah like a good old bra
Starting point is 00:06:00 a proper bra anyway so that's quite a good one beauty wise I did say that Jamie Genevieve had shared that she's got 25% of her top 25 products on cult beauty amazing. Cool beauty is amazing at the moment now for gift sets for your mother-in-law
Starting point is 00:06:16 or yourself they are really good for stuff like that and that's quite good because a lot of you are looking for Veeve product and obviously in her makeup set it's Olive Eve pretty much but she's got like ASOP on there so you can be saved on that oh that's good um she's got hair products skincare products and makeup's quite a good mix the La Roche Pose B5 Cicesterplast whatever we call it is on that is it so you're shaving 20% 25% actually sorry that's brilliant well done Jamie head and she's also opening a pop-up store in Glasgow Buchanan
Starting point is 00:06:48 Street which I'm sure a lot of you will have heard by now 5th of December that is yeah so get yourself down to there because I'm sure they will do little trinkie dishes. Get exclusives and stuff in the store. Yeah. It's always just nice to go in there, isn't it? You get freebies and stuff. She's in there quite a lot too, so if you kind of want a wee meet and greet, nosey with her you will.
Starting point is 00:07:07 Meet and greet. A random one is SkyMobile. My friend was telling me last night that they are doing deals on actually buying the phone, so like it's, say, 30 pound per month. And when you say phone, are you talking iPhone? Well, this specifically is for the iPhone 16, so the new one. So it's like 30 pounds a month instead of 50 say
Starting point is 00:07:27 But then when you're adding on your data plan That's half price for six months Alright, okay, that's really good deal If you're looking to buy someone on the new phone Monica Vanader, the jewellery's got 30% off everything Love Monica Vanader You know my little locket that I wear Is that what yours is?
Starting point is 00:07:49 I always got to say it but it's not It's mimosa It is, mesoma Yeah. Monica Vaneda is just the one, the store that's open in Edinburgh, but I've got the gold locket, which I keep forgetting is a locket. So that is such a nice idea to buy as a gift for someone. It could be anybody. And you could put photographs in it, a little something. I might put a little bit of Owen's fluff in it. I'm going to ever open it, like, see you. Bye. But yeah, something cute like that. Yeah, definitely. Astrid Amiru is another good one 25% of almost everything it said I thought just make it everything
Starting point is 00:08:27 Ashtra DiMew as well the Advent calendars pop the fuck off I would love one I think it's also very it's just known for being kind of that at girl jewelry as well and puts that's a good gift My stack
Starting point is 00:08:40 I don't know if you can see them on this camera but this side all these that one that one that all Astridemieu because I've said it before but I'm an adjudic to nickel so I have to have golden It was the most expensive purchase I've done for an ear stack, but I thought, you know what, they'll never leave my ear. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:08:56 I hope not anyway, and they've stayed now for well over a year. I've not even touched them. My way, like, I'm my second, third person at that side, my second person on that side, the wee huggies are all asked me as well. And it's just good because they're that wee, like, clicky thing. And I think when you get cheap ones like that, the wee clickiness becomes loose. That's right, yeah.
Starting point is 00:09:16 And it just hangs, and it's about shit. So that's a good one, maybe even for a secret Santa, a wee huggy for cute your pal's quite nice a lot of people were looking for the elemiss cleansing
Starting point is 00:09:25 bams specifically and I found that at 20% off on look fantastic which is quite a good deal for that I feel is that not on Jamie's 25% list off
Starting point is 00:09:37 on court beauty no no yeah yeah ellimis cleansing balm is a great one to get your stepmums
Starting point is 00:09:44 your moms your anyone feels quite luxurious and I've noticed on it might have been John Lewis or it might have been cult
Starting point is 00:09:52 but there's a little trio pack that you can get like with the you know they do different sort of scented ones like sensitive skin it's in like a little Christmas pack and it was like save 22 quid if you buy it in the three trio
Starting point is 00:10:04 and that's quite good as well yeah so definitely have a look because me and Zoh we both used to work in the beauty industry where they would do the Christmas gift sets every year and we can honestly tell you that the biggest savings you'll get ever
Starting point is 00:10:17 is Black Friday definitely the beauty products have the hugest markup ever so they can definitely always do this 50% and the Christmas gift sets are at the value that they say they genuinely are such huge savings so rather than go and get an aftershave for example go and see if that aftershave comes in a Christmas gift set with the free body lotion yeah because it's way worth your money Christmas gift sets I feel like used to be seen as easy cheap boots sort of free for two it's different now they are And I feel like as you get older, maybe it is that you view it different.
Starting point is 00:10:53 Like I don't know if my wee sister, for example, maybe I think the same as we did years ago. But because you're looking more at different products, maybe a bit more premium in a sense, it's nice to get a set now. And they're nicer to look at. Like they're just coming on leaps and bounds, you know what I mean? We went into Space NK to get some stuff for our Christmas event. And you know the little... Like bobbles.
Starting point is 00:11:17 Bobbles that you hang on trees. and stuff for like a tenor. There was some well good stuff, wasn't there? Well, you're getting a full-sized product in there, which you would want as a gift. It's just packaged differently. It's a bit cheaper. Another good one, if you're from Glasgow or close by,
Starting point is 00:11:35 homegrown garden centre, which we spoke about a couple of weeks ago, they were doing 20% off their festive decor from the 30th, November to the 1st, December. And they get their real trees in on the 29th. So you could go there, get your tree. pick up a few wee extra bits especially if it's your first home yeah or first Christmas in your new home quite a good one Murray also told us that on Amazon you can get four a pack of four blink cameras which is kind of like ring doorbells
Starting point is 00:12:05 sort of thing but just security for your home if you're into that for a hundred nine pounds in Amazon right now and usually there's 275 oh that's great so there's a big saving for you right there if you've got a business yeah quite a good one Electricals are amazing to get a Black Friday On my Black Friday list Mine is a tumble dryer A dishwasher Which I'm getting both
Starting point is 00:12:27 And I've also got a whole New set Of the new ninja White range Which has been gifted to be kindly by curries Fucking pinch me But I've got what I've got That's unbelievable by the way
Starting point is 00:12:43 I know when the email came through I was like Oh my fucking God I'm getting the white ninja air fryer which I thought was the only thing in the email but they were like we would love to send you this air for I thought perfect because remember when I said on the bonus I speak or a week before I was like my air site is fucked and that's the one that I used on the ninja advert back in 2020 so it's a good four years old yeah and then so he was like no I think they're sending you the full collection it's a kettle a toaster which my toaster broke that morning it was weird and then
Starting point is 00:13:10 a slow cooker and a new blender all the white collection I was like holy motherfucker and know I went back like um to be send you over just selects or is at the whole range and I thought I'm just fucking chance for luck here and he was like we can send at the whole range I thought fucking belt her I know very lucky but um curry's my we actually emailed them back and I asked them if they could tell me what deals they've got but it's not got back to me yet annoyingly but check them check them out for some discounts curries is quite good as well because they do um the pay up plans yeah so if you are looking to buy something that you need like a washing machine or something big TV
Starting point is 00:13:47 that you maybe needs but this time of year you don't want to buy it outright because it's obviously a lot of money but you want to get a saving and you could do the pay-up plan yeah true very good much is quite good yeah
Starting point is 00:13:57 Maurice just told us as well that Curry's also price match with Amazon so if you need something instantly so can you go into the store then and then say show them the picture I fucking love that Curry's as well my Shark Hoover broke which Hoovers are great
Starting point is 00:14:10 vacuum should I say but Shark Hoover, Dyson but I prefer the show dark if you're on the lookout for one of them. Mine broke consistently for two years which sounds terrible but we use it all the time because of the cats and took it back to Curry's
Starting point is 00:14:25 and they swap it there and then for you, a brand spanking new one, even a new model if you need it. Curries are really, really good for that sort of stuff if you've got proof of purchase. Space NK discounts we've got hit me up. Are you ready for this? Yes. So from Tuesday to 26 you've got up to 25% off
Starting point is 00:14:42 which is for all customers. Oh, okay. Then on Friday the 28th, you've got up to 25% off gift sets as well. Then on Monday the 2nd, you've got an extra 10% off discount code when you spend over £100. And that's available to all customers as well, and the code is cyber. Perfect.
Starting point is 00:15:04 Put that on your brain, cyber. Okay? I would also just try that at any. Yeah, any single. What do you call it, checkout page? I would just put Black Friday, Cyber. or maybe like Black Friday 20 or 25 because that's usually the percent.
Starting point is 00:15:19 Yeah. Give it a bash, why not? I'm also, I've been given a code from Isle Paradise. I think it's Jess 50, 50% off. And that's at www.com. Yes, on the actual website. Love that. What was my great gorgeous code?
Starting point is 00:15:38 That was look fantastic. Do you know what, try it. I think my code is, oh fuck, I can't remember now. Just 10. Jess 10 or just just LF, both of those work I think but try that and look fantastic and it might give you an additional few pounds off
Starting point is 00:15:52 I think it gives you an extra 10% off already discounted I guess grow gorgeous and look fantastic but by the time this comes out that might have changed because of you know it's actual be Black Friday week but always give that code a bash I don't get anything from that by the way
Starting point is 00:16:06 but if you just just LF works all the time apparently it does yeah so you like I use it most people message me like just use your code I'm like, I've got a bit of commish. I know, you should be really, we need to try that out, actually. It doesn't matter. Right, so is that Black Friday?
Starting point is 00:16:22 I think that's Black Friday. Excited. I mean, obviously there's loads more. There's every single store known to Man pretty much. But it's hard, because obviously we are doing this a week in advance, it's hard to know what some people are going to do. Yeah, of course.
Starting point is 00:16:37 Like a lot of them have seen, and they've maybe started earlier, I've seen quite a lot of ads running for Black Friday already, but, Apart from that, unfortunately, we kind of see any of the future. Yeah. You know what I mean? This is the man's, and I've tried to split it as much as possible. So let's start with the bathroom.
Starting point is 00:16:53 We've got a surrey tooth brush, water flosser. I love it. Have you got that? Yeah, I've got one from Amazon. Is it good? Yes, really good. Do you know what? I put a little bit of mouthwash in it.
Starting point is 00:17:04 How refreshing. But how does that actually work? It's like a pressure button. Right. Obviously, it goes within seconds. you just keep refilling it up. Right, okay. But put a little bit of mouth washing the water and it's really nice.
Starting point is 00:17:18 I've seen a few of people use them, right? Good idea. Richard told me to say a manscaper. I may have said this before, but he said it's a shaver that doesn't cut your balls. So do with that what you will. A beard shaver tent thing, you know, when they shave their horrendous beard or their pubs and they all they need to do is put it around, it's a bib and they stick the two bits and then they shave it and it collects all the hair and we have happy wife, happy life, you know? That's a good secret Santa.
Starting point is 00:17:43 Yes, it is. For someone in the office, maybe. Yep. Washbag, I'm definitely going to get Richard a new one because his is hideous. I saw a really nice one from a brand called Raines, which I've seen him by before. It's a Japanese brand. They're on ASOS actually, but I saw it in Godshot, studio, contemporary store. Edgy.
Starting point is 00:18:01 Yeah, edgy. But he likes all that, like, you know, contemporary, unbranded, not in your face type stuff. So it's a nice quality washbag. It was like 25 quid. So I'm going to get in that, I think. hopefully doesn't listen to this podcast but you could also get a nice real leather one from like Reese cause a personalized one from Etsy or if you're really boozy you could go and you've got the budget you could go and get like a designer one or whatnot um I don't
Starting point is 00:18:23 love it on yeah couldn't tell you the brands but I don't know skincare and body care I've named a few here but we've got again me and Zoe we're trying to discuss the different types of guys you've got you've got the spice boys you've got the guys that a bit like richard that just like what they like. You've got people that wash their face with barro soap, which is most men and they've got perfect skin. But you've also got the guy that's really got a little touch to his feminine side. He likes to finder things in life. He's house proud. He's got a really chic bathroom. Yeah. So I was trying to think of all different people, but the Malin and Goet's shower stuff is really nice stuff to get a man. Lovely. Unisex as well, so great for a woman.
Starting point is 00:19:05 Murdoch Beard Range is gorgeous. Rich has had that before. Nice. They sell that. and Godshot if you're local, but you can get that on ASOS. They do all sorts of like beard balms, beard oils, shampooes, conditioners, you name it. Stories and Ink is a great body moisturiser if your man has tattoos. They'll really appreciate that. Keels is a good one, La Roche Pose.
Starting point is 00:19:28 Human race skin brand is, I believe, Pharrell Williams. Who got that wrong? But I think it's his brand. You can get on Selfridges. I've never heard of that. It's gorgeous packaging, quite expensive, though. We're looking there.
Starting point is 00:19:40 ASOP is another really nice one having people's wash bags and then you've got all the usual ones that you find in boots. Doving that. Yeah. But I think where we get wrong with men is, I don't know why we always segregate men and women's skincare. Men could use the same as women. Me and Jason share the same cleanser.
Starting point is 00:19:56 Yeah. We both use the Zoxfoling cleanser. Do you? Yeah. So Zo, Inky List, Sarah V, all the ones that are like unfragrance brands are good. Just unisex ones. Okay, if they're house proud, me and Zoe,
Starting point is 00:20:07 we absolutely love the Malin and Go its candles in I would definitely recommend you get a man in scent leather, dark room or cannabis. All gorgeous. You can get them space in K, use that discount. Again, ASOP soaps are really nice for a man, but also your mother-in-law.
Starting point is 00:20:24 I always get that for someone that's got a new house. Yeah. Stores like End, like contemporary homeware stores have really cool places for like coffee table books, you know, the Asserline books that we usually have
Starting point is 00:20:40 one set here, you've got the Soho home ones, you've got cold trainer sneaker books, that look cool. Even like the cool wee tea light holders, candle stick holders, all of that's really cool. I even think, like Jason's quite house pound, yeah, but he wouldn't go and spend 70 quid a candle, but he loves a candle. So even like the B&M ones, H&M ones, H&M ones, Cozy Wozda, they all do really nice smelling candles, especially if they've got a wee at home office or a wee game room or something.
Starting point is 00:21:10 The white company, four-wick ones that you can get the 25% off. All of them. Perfect. As to do the dupes of the white company with all the orange peals in them. So to be an M now. I got one another day, by the way. Put it on because the house was thinking of that blooming teak paste. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:21:25 And you could smell it so strong and that's just B&M. The white company must be fuming. Because mine, Aldi did the big massive one. Yeah, I got that as well. That big, though. That was a bit big. It looks like a cake. Right, so that's that.
Starting point is 00:21:38 Nice coffee cups, you know, like nice pottery-style chic coffee cups. You get them in those cool shops. What's the flask that the guys like? Stanley or Yeti. Yeti. That's quite a good one if your guys are working in the van. Yeti or Stanley cups are really good for coffee drinkers or whatever. Right, fragrances.
Starting point is 00:21:57 I ask quite a few different people in my phone book to sell me their favourite fragrances. So I list off a few. I think Jason's is in here as well. Rich doesn't have one. He just wears whatever the hell I buy them. He likes to wear your perfume quite often. It does. because most of mine's unisex.
Starting point is 00:22:09 I know. So, right, Dior Sauvage. Do you know what? I'm going to put it out there, you can't beat it. You can't. It's lovely. It's so nice. It might be the older man's one million, but I'm okay with that.
Starting point is 00:22:23 I like one million. I love it. Let's not get this shit twisted. The only one I can't bear that much is it might be Creed Aventus now or there's one that a lot of guys wear at the moment. When they're on a night out and I'm like, fuck me, that is just. It's kind of the male version of, um, backrat Rouge. We find that quite triggering it. It's when it's the morning after and you can still smell it and it reminds you the night before.
Starting point is 00:22:46 It's too much. PTSD. Right. So Zara, for everyday fragrances, men friggin love it. Unbelievable. Just get them as Zara fragrance, can't beat it. Get on TikTok and put in Zara fragrances doops, by the way, because they are all connected to a designer. What?
Starting point is 00:23:02 So they are. Yep. My friend also told me this is for men, this is for men and women. whoever there's a brand out there you know the ones that do all the whole like dupes noted aromas and they and that's what it's called and they do all the dupes of all the designer fragrances you can get a discovery set so you can smell them all and that's a great gift for your mother-in-law or you replica do a discovery set as well do they most brands do so if you go on self-bredges or la labo do all the little minis
Starting point is 00:23:31 penthaligans do all the minis right so here's some guys that i've speak to his favorite fragrances. Tom Ford fucking fabulous. Tom Ford Ombray Lever and Tom Ford Oud Wood. And Mason Marcella, is it? Marcella. Or the other one that's Baccarat. Mason, whatever.
Starting point is 00:23:49 Oud Wood sat in. By Redo, any of them. Abercrombie and Fitch Fierce, Van Cleef Oud Bland, Chanel Blue, Gucci Guilty, Valentino Intense, Aqua de Parma, Fido Demalfi, M&S, apothecichity.
Starting point is 00:24:05 Apothecary, warmth. Irmez, the original. Anything Joe Malone, my personal favourites are the Cypress and grapevine, I think, and the hazelnut and sage. But you can also get the Discovery Cologne Intense Collection, which I got my dad once. My dad loves miniature ones because he travels an awful lot,
Starting point is 00:24:25 so he loves little minis. But Halligan's Halfetti, Com de Garcin, Fahrenheit. That's my dad's favorite, is Fahrenheit, which is the Hugo Boss, maybe, unsure. Ysel and that's all the ones I've listed there but that's just some good ones for you that men that I know smell really good
Starting point is 00:24:43 Jason's an oud wood wood wood wood ombre leather he's an ombre leather yeah he smells good comfort but he did get a couple new ones from Zara the other day and one of them I love it's kind of got a kind of sweet vanilla to it but with a masculine touch and I actually think it's really nice
Starting point is 00:25:02 and it's called it's either wood wood wood wood or wood ombray. It's something wood, kind of looks by rado. Okay. With a kind of small chunky glass with a white label.
Starting point is 00:25:13 So you could look for that. Right. That's really nice. My favorite ever fragrance that Richard is what wears that I gave him before is diesel only for the brave, the fist.
Starting point is 00:25:22 That is without a doubt the best smell on him. I could eat him alive when he wears it. He'd eat him alive every day anyway, but when he wears that, I'm like, my God. I just think the guy
Starting point is 00:25:31 that smells good. Yeah. Clothing, right. You're also. sorts here. Again, trying to think of all the range of people in my brain, but trainers, talking nice trainers here. So you've got, you're typical, if they like designers, Fairfucks, go and get them that. And you've got represent all the guys seem to like that. Stepney Worker is what Rich loves. Love. You've got the Cold Buxton ones that are similar vibe. Nike, Adidas, blah, blah,
Starting point is 00:26:00 you know your man better than me and Zoe. So you know what they wear. Who knows? It's very personal, isn't it? Trainers? Trainers are a difficult one for people as well because I think as females are quite into the chunk and a lot of guys just are not into the chunk. I show Richard any trainer that I want and he's like, they're vile. But they're not though. See these that I've got on my feet.
Starting point is 00:26:24 Sambas? Spes. Spesials. But Sambas especially. Jason's like you are wearing a football casual trainer. I know, but you don't get it. My dad loves a samba. He's a samba king. but he has probably always has been where does we are now start to rear them he's assuming that the prices of his
Starting point is 00:26:40 trainer is doubled right my dad wants slippers so apparently keeps stealing my stepbrothers so I looked at Uggs there's one from John Lewis North Face autograph M&S barber and Berghaus the outdoor brand
Starting point is 00:26:56 you know the one Maybe Burgos Beyrgos you know the one I'm talking about They're good quality ones He wanted ones that are good to go outside in his garage and they can get wet on the bottom. If they're a bit the street style, Stone Island
Starting point is 00:27:12 you can't go wrong, CP Company, a lot of guys love a Stone Island jumper. My dad loves a proper hanky, so does my granddad. Oh, that's cute. Can't beat them. Handkerchief. Yep. I thought adjacent with this one, design a swim trunks.
Starting point is 00:27:29 That is something that I cannot get on board with. Every year he's going to Ibita, he wants that good pair when he's at Ocean Beach. But it's ridiculous money for a pair of fucking swimming trunks that can get for a pre-mart for a five-er. I know.
Starting point is 00:27:42 But anyway, swim-trunks is might be a good one. Then you've got designer roxack, designer trainers and designer jump which you can get them from flannels, phrases, selfridges, and, again, you know that's very personal to them. Now, boxers. Boxes is something that I've always hated buying a man
Starting point is 00:28:01 because I think they're crap, presents personally but to men they're not I bought Richard the skims boxes from end a year ago white ones and they came in the store that week and I says oh have you ever heard of skims he was like well I've bought you a top for Christmas so I was like oh I'll buy him the white boxes he wears them all the time and he says he doesn't give a shit about the Kardashians by the way neither do I but he was like they are the best quality boxes ever and they're not cheap have you got Jason some as well. So that's on his list. I'm going to get him. I'm going to wait for the Black Friday sales because they're about £45 for a free pack at the moment, which I'm
Starting point is 00:28:39 like... Is he quite into white boxers? No, but he's like, I need the black. He's like, I need the black. He's a skid mark saying no. Guys don't like white boxers and I'll tell you something. I don't either. Nah. Not, I don't really care, but if you do see a guy white boxers and I do think it's a bit weird. I don't know what it is. There's a nice pack of like white, grey and black, but I'm going to get in the three pack of black, I think. I got the one. I got the one. I got the and it's like a nude, a kind of sage green and a sort of darker grey. They are quite nice. Okay, I haven't seen them.
Starting point is 00:29:09 But I mean, you can't go wrong with your Calvin Klein's either. No. The waistband gets ruined in them, though I will say that. CK, he said Lulu Lemon ones are good and Nike. Heated gloves are good one if they, personal trainers or they work outside. Might get myself some of them. That gym's fucking baltic in the morning. Clothes again, nice quality t-shirts from Unique.
Starting point is 00:29:32 Chloe or Coz. If he's into walking, anything from North Face, Patagonia, Carhart, Beanie Hat, Beanie Cap. And then if your dad, like my dad, loves Hugo Boss, so a Hugo Boss jumper, my stepdad loves anything, Ted Baker, Paul Smith, he's like a mod, he's into his sort of paisle-printed stuff. Typical dad blends. Yeah. And then dressing gowns again, get them a nice dressing gown if they wear them.
Starting point is 00:30:00 Richard likes wearing his all-in-one personalised cat wansy. Goody. Of course. Okay. Watch brands, if you've got the budget. Brightling, Rolex, Tag, Timex, Cassio, G-Wox, Tudor. Tudor? Chudor.

Starting point is 00:54:09 That's all you need. You can get everything on there. Especially for kids as well. They do like, I'm seeing kids in the whole time I hadn't think Jason. But like all the wee lights that are like wee Mario things like you know like kind of old school
Starting point is 00:54:22 if someone's got an office and that quite cool. You could also get like a makeup counter voucher and they could go get their makeup done get some products back for it. That's a good one. That's a good one. A lot of those places with the money
Starting point is 00:54:34 you're getting the experience but also you get to redeem the voucher. The voucher, don't they have actual products, which is good. That's really nice. And then another one for maybe grandparents or parents is like the kind of family tree. Yes. Well, like a DNA test? Yeah, but also even if you know enough, those prints on, again, Etsy and stuff
Starting point is 00:54:54 that kind of show you just the kind of hierarchy of the family. That's cool. That's quite a nice gift as well. That is a really nice gift. And it could be something that always gets passed down. Maybe you add on to it. Yeah. That's cute.
Starting point is 00:55:07 Anyway, I hope that was helpful. One more thing that I love in my living room. When I move into my flat, my friend got me a personalized, just line drawing of my flat. Yeah. And get them off Etsy, just a frame picture of somebody's house. It's like your mother-in-law's house and the little dress at the bottom.
Starting point is 00:55:24 It's so nice. I love it. I love stuff like that. Yeah. Because you'll keep that forever, even if you don't have it out forever. You'll keep it forever. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:55:31 I also have got your stepsist doing me a painting. Have you? From an 11-room, yeah. And it's, mind, we were speaking about, it's the lyric from me and Jason's favorite song. Yeah. But, like, stuff like that, it's even a good gift.
Starting point is 00:55:45 Like, if you know, as you said, someone's favorite song, but maybe it's for a couple. Yeah. That's nice. Quite nice. Oliver bonus and anthropology. There's one more story wrote down as well.
Starting point is 00:55:56 That's a strainy greener, whatever you call it in Glasgow. That's the one. We bits and bobs, gift bags, ribbons and all that. They do such a thing. Go in those shops. There's loads of little books.
Starting point is 00:56:04 Like, things about gratitude. and like home trinket, coasters, there's loads of stuff in those shops. Cute wee gifts for babies in that sauce-drainy green shop. Like wooden. Yeah, there is, isn't there. That's well done last night. Wooden, like the ones you count the wee balls that go across, wee wooden rainbows and stuff like that, really cute.
Starting point is 00:56:22 Well, there you go. We can talk for hours. Wow. But I think that'll be helpful. You need to think outside the box, and it is difficult. Yeah. But once you get going, you think, oh yeah. Etsy's your best friend.
Starting point is 00:56:32 That's all I'm going to say. Absolutely.
