Starting point is 00:00:57 And welcome back to the best podcast in the world. Welcome. A warm welcome to you. It's mid-August. How the hell is that? Summer's nearly over and I'm going to say it. I'm not mad about it. I'm not. I'm not mad. I'm sorry, but I'm not. I've had a great summer though. I think we've had some good weather. Absolutely. And, I mean, to be fair, your summer's not over. You've got about 5,000 holidays to go.
Starting point is 00:01:20 I know I'm done in. And nothing's annoying me more than I can't, like, I can't just be up your fat fucking couch potato for a good couple months stuff. All in good time. Like I just want it to be time. Gozy Zay season is on the brew. But that needs to include like snacks and that. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? But that's going to need you wait.
Starting point is 00:01:40 That needs to wait. You've got all the... Mid-October. Yeah, but when you're actually away in Ibitha, you're going to Nice. I've been having a great time. You're going to Lisbon. Lisbon.
Starting point is 00:01:50 I've got three more holidays. I'm going to be with Jason again, but that's not but that's not butjit. That's December. But that's like a winter holiday. That's different. Christmas markets. Yeah. Cute.
Starting point is 00:02:02 Love it. If anyone can hear a wee... I don't know if you can see her much but cookies with us today. We can see her on the YouTube a little bit. She's just... She's flashing her ass. Excuse me, Wood's girl. She's just actually got a wee lick mat just now with some peanut butter and blueberries on it.
Starting point is 00:02:18 It occupies her for a bit but also it's good stimulation for the brain. It tires them out. Perfect. I've got every stimulating thing you could imagine for that dog. And nothing works. it works for five minutes and then that's it so she might be off my lap we might need to take it out we see but she had to come with mum to work today love that we've got to do what we've got to do in this life absolutely and what's better than a fluffy friend nothing to be honest
Starting point is 00:02:45 I agree nothing in this life coxer so she's she's writing in a boutique she's got a lot on her plate right now fair fox sir you know right what we've been up to we've got a lot on this episode to talk about. We've got a lot to cover. Shall let's just get right in a boot? Yeah, let's go. We went to the new, I'm going to say hotspot in Glasgow,
Starting point is 00:03:07 the new place to be. CC rooftop. Yeah. The opening night we were there. Both Social Hub. Very, very cool, very cool crowd as well. Very, I just keep telling people it's very London vibes. And I don't know if people see that as a positive or not,
Starting point is 00:03:21 because I know for some people it might not be. But it's the rooftops and the hotel. Yep. And then once you go up there, you're just transported, I think. What I said to Zoe was, it's very similar to if anyone stayed there, the standard hotel, Kings Cross, and there's a restaurant in there called DeCimo, I think. Mexican vibes, it's very similar.
Starting point is 00:03:44 I'm pretty certain it's probably been based off that. Yeah. So it gives those sort of moody, there's a DJ. It's where you're going to want to go with your girls, your couple friends, just your night out. And I think they're getting licensing until 2 a.m. so you can stay for drinks and then you're in the midst of like merchant city you can go out after for some more drinks
Starting point is 00:04:03 I think if that got a late license it would be ideal because you don't really know where to go too late unless you're like hitting the club but nobody can be asked with it no one can be asked I do hope it stays a bit of an older crowd I would say it would do because
Starting point is 00:04:16 the type of food that it is it isn't like Instagramable trending it's more small plates it's probably quite expensive I wouldn't imagine it's cheap there's an amazing rooftop like outside area as well with a nice view of Glasgow, which you should definitely check out. So if it's a nice night and then the sun goes down, you're out there, wow.
Starting point is 00:04:33 And they didn't even have all the right outdoor seating yet that hadn't arrived. So when that comes about, that's going to be so good. If you're on our Patreon, by the way, we've seen our video, been there. Yep. We didn't see all the details. Special little vlog of us getting ready at home and then we joined forces and, yeah, all the people that we sat with, it was really fun. Loved it.
Starting point is 00:04:52 Loved it. What else have you been up to then? Honestly, not much. I feel like because I've only had a week or so from holiday before I go to Ibiza I've just been working staying quiet, chill well-being vibes
Starting point is 00:05:07 before I fuck up the liver which is fine we accept it as we should I had another session with Megan my life coach last week which was amazing and you know what's so funny and I think especially for someone like me
Starting point is 00:05:23 who's not really one for being like I'm doing so well or like I've come so far not deep as we know but she can have made it obvious like do you realise what you said to me when we first spoke
Starting point is 00:05:36 versus what you're saying now and I was like that's so true like just in terms of like attitude towards work how many clients I've got like reaching out to new people being out of the house more like I was saying at the start
Starting point is 00:05:48 I feel like all I do is just sit on my couch and work and it's just not that productive I feel quite I don't feel lonely is not the word because I don't feel lonely but I'm not mingling with people that much. Yeah. He's always felt like that, having you since leaving the office job. Yeah, because I love having a team. Yeah. But then I said to her last week, I'm craving a day at home. And she was like, please think about the contrasting that. And I was like, I know, but you don't even realize you're doing it. But that's why she's so helpful because she's like changing your mindset. Yeah. Without it being like, you, I'm not forcing it. It's just kind of happened because of my decisions. So that was a really positive call. And you also have our friend Bex, she works for you now, doesn't she, one day a week?
Starting point is 00:06:28 So that's been really helping you and your socials are quite a lot. So we did a first voiceover, Loll, ASMR. Sorry, but. Do you know how hard it is? I'm just going to out myself and say at least 18 times. And that's a lot. Welcome to my world, bitch. But honestly, that's all I've been really doing.
Starting point is 00:06:49 Just working. What about you? What have you been up to? I feel like I've been up to a lot, you know, since we last spoke. Busy? Booked and busy. Booked and busy. I wouldn't say I'm booked and busy, but I feel like I'm always bloody busy at the minute. But went to the Edinburgh Fringe. I've also eaten in lots of different places. I've had some nice food to talk to you about. Love it. Jensen's got a lot on his plate because we've started the weaning journey. No fun. It is so fun. I never thought I would, I just never thought I would have so much fun as I am. And it's
Starting point is 00:07:22 only one thing a day at the moment, but I love it. But I guess each day you're like, oh, what I'm going to give him now? And you can see if he likes it, because I suppose it's all about, do you like that? He really loves everything. Of course he does. His mother's son. Right. So, let's talk a little bit about Edinburgh Fringe, shall we?
Starting point is 00:07:39 Oh, it's Fringe time. It's Fringe time. If you listen to this and you're from anywhere but Glasgow and Edinburgh and you've lived under a rock for years, Edinburgh Fringe, I would say, is like, because my friend came up this weekend, right? And I said to her, we're going to the fringe, and she was like, what's that? I was like, pardon? I was like, what do you mean pardon? Ignore English.
Starting point is 00:07:59 I was like, it is the biggest festival in Scotland. It lasts for a whole month. It's very creative. It's all the arts. It's comedy shows, dance, everything, right? But what I've always felt every single year is it's beyond overwhelming. I go every single year like most of us do. But I bet you everyone listen to this.
Starting point is 00:08:17 Sorry, not everyone, but a lot of people listen to this. And the same as me where you kind of go just for the vibe. in the crack, you don't necessarily always go and see a show. I go and don't ever really go to a show. Yeah. I try, but when I look, I'm like, I don't know what any of this is. And then I just don't book anything because I don't know what to book. And sometimes you need to book them so in advance, especially the biggest shows that are really
Starting point is 00:08:36 popular every single year. And you probably wouldn't get in. No. So I kind of winged it. I went to, I got the train. I went to Jensen and my friend. So most of the kiddie shows, if you listen to this and you've got kids and you want to go, I would say them in the morning.
Starting point is 00:08:50 I got there at 12 midday I wasn't too bothered I was actually going to go to Glen Eagles for their new pop-up called Egg Break it's in London but for the whole hundred board I've seen that it looks good by the most well good you can go to Glen Eagles Townhouse and have brunch at a place called Egg Break
Starting point is 00:09:04 I was invited there but I never ended up going because I didn't make it in time it stops at 12 right okay so that was the plan to go instead we ended up going down towards the underbelly area which is near the Assembly George Square so it's a little bit south of Waverley station. That's a big blow-up thing. That's right. The big purple blow-up
Starting point is 00:09:23 cow that's kind of like lying on his back, it's orders in the air. You can go there. There's a big massive circus tent as well. So I would recommend that you go and hang about that area, like the south side of Edinburgh. It's more buzzy. You've got different areas. I think it's called Assembly Fest, which is the more buzzy one where there's like everyone sitting outside in the benches, all the food trucks. I actually had... Yeah, I like that bit. Yeah. That's the fun bit. Yeah. I think it's a nice vibe in there. Yeah. But I don't know how to get there. I just end up there. You need to go past Royal Mile. So walk towards Royal Mile and then walk past it and keep
Starting point is 00:10:05 going up the way. So instead, I actually had some street food from a place called Coop, which is like a really nice fried chicken. It was good. I still think I've got the it from that Nashville fried chicken by the way because I was like, this is good, but it's not blown away by it. It's not. I'm blown away like everyone's waving about. And feel like you never will be again. No. But it was good. Next door to that was Ting Thai Caravan had a hook thing.
Starting point is 00:10:27 And trying to think of places to recommend you guys to go and eat when you go, but you've got the usual, like, Dishu. You could go and just walk in if you hadn't got a reservation. I really like Paz tacos. I went to that little capo the other day. I remember I wrote it in the Patreon chat. It was really good. There's not much I can compare it to.
Starting point is 00:10:46 It's just like a more of a quaint, small, small plate Italian restaurant, really nice, trendy inside, nice wine, nice alcohol. It's quite similar vibes to maybe barvini. But cooler, hard to describe in a nice part of Edinburgh, nearer to Stockbridge. So I would recommend you could go there. That was nice. I've got a nice walking reservation a couple weeks ago actually at like midday. Stockbridge Eating House, that's another nice place I really want to go to.
Starting point is 00:11:14 You could go and eat on Leith Walk. we've got loads of people in the group chat by the way on Patreon which you could go and ask if you want some Edinburgh recommendations there's loads of Edinburgh girls that listen to this podcast so I'm not an expert on Edinburgh so I just honestly forget about Edinburgh I never go like I never think to go yeah right so that's my update for Edinburgh
Starting point is 00:11:33 if you go and let us know send us any recommendations in Colin Cloud that one always seems to come up every single year that person yes he's a mentalist I've made up a couple times He does kind of, you don't remember Darren Brown? Yeah, is it similar to that vibe? Exactly, that's where I think. He's got a residency in Las Vegas, so he's doing really well for himself.
Starting point is 00:11:53 He's from Whitburn, I believe. Oh, okay. So look at that. I'm sure someone like Paul Black would be there. Yeah, I think he does do the shows, doesn't he? I went to take Jensen to see a bubble show, which I don't recommend. I mean, what do you actually expect from somebody blowing bubbles? But listen, all the kids quite liked it.
Starting point is 00:12:11 There was... So what he posted, by the way, it gave, like, circus vibes now. Well, it was in the circus. It was in the circus. So there was also sing the musical, which we just missed by 20 minutes, and it was doing the greatest showman that day. So when we were at the apparel stand, this was in the underbelly section, so next door to the assembly fair square.
Starting point is 00:12:35 And, yeah, that sounded amazing because you could hear it from the outside. But loads of nice good stands. I'm not talking like shit. I'm talking really freaking good ones. So really recommend. you go make the most of it the sun was shining i always get such good weather when i go to edinburgh i love it got myself a blank street it's walking around thriving my tits off anytime i've been to the fringe i think it's actually been nice as well you know yeah just edinburgh in general
Starting point is 00:12:57 though i've never had been there with bad weather i don't know why it's just always been sun is shining i love it yeah it's always quite bright actually isn't it it's the same as when you go to st andrews it's always grey what is that about by the way edinburgh's always sunny st andrew's grey. Five is grey. Glasgow? It's all happening in Glasgow by the way. It's all happening. Spider-Man. Flying through the streets. I think that's amazing for us. I mean, I know it's a known thing that a lot of films, well actually it's not known because there's people on TikTok like why would you choose Glasgow? Because it looks like New York. So Spider-Man is here flying about
Starting point is 00:13:33 the fucking place. Zendaya is here. I'm just trying to speak fluent TikTok to you but I just love that pink get done. I love it But he's flying about I thought what the hell on a crane But you said that's a stunt man Yeah so I think Tom Holland was there on Saturday
Starting point is 00:13:51 Because I was there For maybe a couple of days And then And then it's just a stunt man But I think I got the stunt man You know Tom Cruise does all his own stunts What the hell dangerous
Starting point is 00:14:03 So you know even in like Top Gun and everything He is the man that does everything So if he came to Glasgow Would be him flying about the grain get a grip, Tom Holland, do you know what I mean? Didn't he nearly die Tom Cruise doing one of his stunts not long ago, jumping out a plane or something? Probably.
Starting point is 00:14:18 He broke his ankle when they kept that in the teak. That's right. Something like that. Cool. And they're filming it out of a ghost, ghost restaurant when we had our boozy brunch. What good promo, by the way, that is? That'll be actually in the film, I think.
Starting point is 00:14:33 What, even the sign? Like the actual name of the restaurant? I don't know, but Courtney did say, like, she can't wait to see what it looks like in the film. So there must be, well, the bill. building at least is going to be on it, isn't it? They might, I don't know, what would you do, blur out the sign? This is what I said to you in the other episode where I said,
Starting point is 00:14:47 have you ever looked up around Glasgow rather than the shop fronts? It's because it is so nice. All the American flags are now outside the bloody Royal Bank of Scotland sort of thing. Do you know what I would like to know? How many films have we watched? Batman's always here. But you don't know that it's Glasgow because I'm going to say loads because I've never watched it and thought I know that's Glasgow.
Starting point is 00:15:10 That sounds like a Google. go to me. World War Z. It was filmed here. I remember that because I'm sure a guy I went to school with was going to extra in that stuff and there's quite a lot of people in it from here. Indiana Jones, the last one. That was filmed here, a bit of that, when they were running down the streets. Batman.
Starting point is 00:15:26 Back girl was as well, but that got cancelled, didn't it? What was that all about? It was cheaper for them to make a tax write off than put it out there. It was cheaper for them to make a tax rate off than to actually put it out and to promote it. So that's why it's just now sitting on a shelf and ever to be seen basically.
Starting point is 00:15:42 That's a shame for the actor. Imagine that you've made it and you're going to be back girl and then for release your film. No, I know. I'm not paid for it still. That's a shame. But yeah.
Starting point is 00:15:51 I'm actually going to ghost on Friday for a wee date night. And then do you know what I'm doing after it? Tell me right now. I want to see Freaker Friday. Is it out? Yep, on Friday.
Starting point is 00:16:03 Love that for them. You're going with Jason? Yeah. How do you go like it? He was well up for it. Has he seen Freaky Friday he thinks he has but we're going to watch it yeah tonight or tomorrow ahead of Friday you know get in the zone yeah but we're gonna go to ghosts have a wee steak I
Starting point is 00:16:23 might not have a steak but he'll have a steak a good wee dinner and then doing the road to the cinema love that very nice you're gonna go to we're actually going to the showcase and quote bridge because it was the latest we could get yeah so we would make it in time nice but that's quite good because then once you come out of that and all that tired way you can just get right home you know i always think that that cinema is so bizarre just because it's quite kind of plonk there it just reminds me of america i don't know what it is it just reminds me of being in america no i totally know what you mean because in america there's always like random the big diners and kind of like fun things just off the side of the roads
Starting point is 00:17:01 yeah but actually it's a really good cinema very good they've got like all the recliners and it's just like you get transported back to like the 70s when you walk in it's very strange. But with a comfy seat attached. What else I've noticed in Glasgow is Uniclo is about to open and we got invited to the opening. We didn't. I think that's a big... When is that by the way? It's in the month of August, I'm sure.
Starting point is 00:17:23 29, I think. Okay. And Veeve is opening a store well for, I think about three months. But that's. It's usually only a Christmas one, isn't it? Yeah, so they're opening for a long period of time. Don't you think it's about time that they just opened a store? Just open it and stay open? Stay. Let's just stay open. Why not?
Starting point is 00:17:40 And talking about staying put, we're actually going to have a little look at an office together later. We are. I don't know where you were going with that there. I know, I didn't either, but that's how I angled that one. We are going to see a little small office space in a place that we've wanted to, we've had our eye on for a long time. Yeah. They've just never, ever anything that comes up. And if it does, it's massive. It's too much of a big square foot.
Starting point is 00:18:05 I mean, we ain't there yet. Also, there's just no needs for it. No. So we're going to have a little look and see what we think. It's actually around the corner from here, which is quite cool for us. I'm excited about that. It's tiny, but we can fit a couple desks in there. All we need is room for me, you're Cookie and Jensen, really?
Starting point is 00:18:21 Yeah. Well, no, no Jensen. No, Jensen. I just didn't want to say Cookie and not include him, but she might need to attend sometimes. No, this is for Jensen. It's not allowed in there. Adults only? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:18:33 Girls only, we could say girls only. Yes, my sweet baby, even though he gets misgendered all the time. God bless him. Screw you, case there. Girls and money. Girls and money, yeah, and Alan, of course. Yeah, he keeps getting misgendered all the flipping time. I just find that so bizarre.
Starting point is 00:18:49 I don't know if it's just when you know a baby. You can't understand how anyone could think there's anything different than what they are. Probably because he's got a big pretty face. But he always gets called a girl. It's just a big pretty boy face, so to me. Even when he's wearing all blue. I mean, I know girls wear blue, but you don't tend to put them in that because of that reason. No, I know.
Starting point is 00:19:08 Anyway. Time to check on the skies. It's another sunny day in Calgary. Forecast calls for high levels of economic activity. Late afternoon, we've got a burst of potential in a place ranked North America's most livable city. Tomorrow, blue-sky thinking in the blue-sky city should hold steady,
Starting point is 00:19:29 and the outlook remains optimistic throughout the week. So come grab your dreams and enjoy watching them take hold. It's possible in Calgary, the Blue Sky City. For the full economic forecast, visit Calgary Economic Development, do you know what we need to discuss yes we finished handmade tale finally I'm glad it's over I'll be honest I just needed it to be over I think
Starting point is 00:19:58 right spoiler alert coming so fast forward the next two minutes so I want to freely discuss with you okay she didn't even fucking get Hannah back The whole six seasons was surely about getting her back and we are no further forward. Well, I think the ending was kind of given that she was going to get her. And she never gives up. Yeah, but so it was kind of like, you know what I'm going to get her one day. Yeah, okay.
Starting point is 00:20:27 But we just didn't see it happen. And my friend, because she watched ending with me as well, she was saying about the whole book thing confused her. But I quite like that because the handmade tale is a book. So what I was trying to explain to her was, I think her mum's suggesting that June wrote a book was the nice angle that that's what the book's all about because I'm guessing the book is from June's perspective, right?
Starting point is 00:20:46 Yeah, it must be. So I quite like that. The playing situation. Devastated. Thoughts. Why, though? Devastated about who and why. Nick. Because you liked him.
Starting point is 00:20:57 Love him. So much. I feel like I started to find him annoying as well, though. So I would choose your battle and stick with it. But when you live in that, that sort of world that you've got to... How can you? I know. I know. But then what about Commander Lawrence? I do think that about him.
Starting point is 00:21:15 He was one of those people that was just always on the fence. I don't think he ever really knew if he was good or bad. No, I know. I agree. And he was good. I think he knew that things had to end either way. I think he was good if he could be good, but he couldn't always be good. Yeah. Like the choice wasn't his. Yeah. Why, I'm not sure. And what about Commander Lawrence? Did you like him? Loved him. Yeah. I loved him. But then part of me again, I thought, I can't work you out. I agree. I do think I found the whole season quite confused, the whole full program quite confusing. Like at times I was kind of like who, who's on whose side here. Yeah. And the last
Starting point is 00:21:53 season for me, I didn't really know whose side anyone was on. Yeah. Like I wasn't really sure the aim of the game. I like the bit of the end with Janine getting her child back. Me too. I hated that bitch. I can't remember her name. She was married. She had the child. Yeah. the blonde woman I don't remember her name either I don't really know anyone's name I loved Serena
Starting point is 00:22:16 yeah me too and her and June loved each other they did but Serena just believed it so much to her core she was just a mad Bible bash or like she loved it
Starting point is 00:22:24 didn't she and she was just like praise be blessed be the fruit bollocks all the time and to the point where have you noticed you never really ever said
Starting point is 00:22:33 that stuff back she was always a bit like yeah she didn't she didn't believe in it She didn't want to be involved in that world, but she just did what she had to do to survive. But I do think Serena, the soft spot was for her. You felt sorry for her because she genuinely loved Fred and she genuinely was just sucked into it all. But you saw that when you went back to her childhood and how Fred sort of like coerced her into that world.
Starting point is 00:22:54 Yeah, exactly. So, do you know, it's weird. It's such a believable show. And Richard always says to me that I can't believe you watch that shit. Like I said, but you've never watched it. A lot of people genuinely think it's one of the. best things you've ever watched probably because it's so believable i'm telling you right now in five years time that'll be happening in america it well oh 100% terrifying yeah what would you do in that
Starting point is 00:23:18 situation i just feel like when you're not in it your first thought is you'd just end it all but you'd like to think i would never i would never stand for that but you know think of like lockdown everybody you just you just do what you're told to do no i know and they did fight back but you can only fight so much like you're in their home you're in their area like where you meant to go and everyone around you've got guns yeah exactly so you can fight but there's only a level of fighting you can get to yeah you're always going to get battered back down although i quite like the ending i thought it was good it made me think is there going to be another season though but there's not not no i think it just ended to give you sort of closure on you don't need to see or go
Starting point is 00:24:03 finding Hannah. I know but that annoyed me that. I thought I've watched six seasons there and I don't even know if you get her back. But it implies that she will. Yeah, it implies that she will but I guess it's not guaranteed but then that's kind of the way a lot at these things end, doesn't it? Because the whole thing's based around her finding her and because
Starting point is 00:24:19 she now implies she will, we almost don't need to see it happen because what will we see just are running a hug? True. And her husband annoyed me in the end as well. We don't love each other. No. She loves Nick and she just saw him die in the air. that is a shame
Starting point is 00:24:35 but it's that bit of sweet isn't it you kind of had to because do you not think if he didn't I think he needed to die as well yeah because if he didn't would he almost turn against in a way because then who's he got maybe his whole thing is gone as well
Starting point is 00:24:51 even though he didn't like it but then maybe you'd be a bit lost yeah you can't guarantee what a program what a program top three for me what you stranger things is number one for you isn't it It's in the top three with Handmaid's Tale and
Starting point is 00:25:07 I don't want to say Game of Thrones because then I feel like I'm really that person Yeah, you're giving that person. With those three and I'm really not that person. No, you're not. So I don't know what else, Grey's Anatomy maybe. Never watched that. That's amazing. There's so much so.
Starting point is 00:25:23 And I everyone's. Because I haven't back and re-watched it because I used to watch Mom and then I bowed out. But I've not caught up in the latest season on that either, I don't think. Again, sometimes you're being in the same characters. show long, like I'm kind of sick of you. Yeah. I feel as if I'm watching it, but I'm kind of like, ugh. My top three would probably be Handmaid's Tale, Peaky Blinders.
Starting point is 00:25:42 Oh, I did love that as well. This sounds so cringe, but I was obsessed with this when I was younger. Now, when you watch it, the acting was so terrible, it actually got so shit, but I loved power. Oh, yeah. I like that as well. I really liked that. And then it got terrible. Tommy, the actor is such a bad actor. Sorry?
Starting point is 00:26:01 Tommy, the white guy. he was terrible acting no but he was hard as fuck I liked him yeah he was funny but when you watch it again you're like oh my god this is just cringe it's the same as when someone asked
Starting point is 00:26:12 your favourite film or songs or whatever there's categories yeah because Stranger Things Game of Thrones Hamid's Tale are all very like amazingly done amazing acting
Starting point is 00:26:24 like amazing effects or whatever it might be but then equally I love like Grey's anatomy friends Shits Creek which are also all my favourites but it's just very... Easy watches. Well, they're different. Yeah, very different. That's more like fantasy. Yeah, then you've got
Starting point is 00:26:38 your comfort watches, which is more of that. I also started Gilmore Girls, was it last year, the year before and I'm still not finished that. That's a really long one. But people start it around now because it goes with the seasons. Right. And it goes into like autumn. Autumn. Nice. And it is a nice, cosy watch, but I'm almost
Starting point is 00:26:56 like sick of them now too. Right. Sex and the City. Yeah. I've not been watching that in the latest. one. No, me too. I did start it when it first had all the height, but now I'm over it. If Samantha was in it, I would. Yeah, true, actually.
Starting point is 00:27:10 That's a big loss. A huge loss. She's not interested. Are you looking to buy her first home and don't know where to start? Well, don't worry, our friends at Watermans will do all of that stuff for you. They won't be packing your boxes for you, but they'll do everything else. So for straightforward, legal advice, remember Watermans. So Jensen's been having a lot on his plate
Starting point is 00:27:33 He has We've started the weaning And I'm doing baby lead weaning Which is Where you're allowing him to sort of lead the way You give him things to hold Right I include in the spoon
Starting point is 00:27:46 And he just is very messy Yeah But I just want him He's fiercely independent So I just knew that this is just the way we need to go So what's the alternative? So are you? You would purify everything and spoon feed him.
Starting point is 00:28:01 Right, okay. Which I think, to be honest, baby lead weaning could be quite scary for people. You'd feel more comfortable probably just purifying things and doing it yourself until they're a bit more confident. I guess you don't understand that when, because they don't have teeth, you'd probably think that they would choke or gagging can be quite scary. Yeah. But their gums are so hard. Like, they're designed to do this. I guess there's teeth in there somewhere to kind of give them.
Starting point is 00:28:30 Harder than probably my bite. I kid you not. Yeah, to give them a bit of strength. Yeah. The extra saliva is obviously helps as well to stop the choking, but you just need to just be a little bit less fearful. And I've been reading up, you know what I'm like, I've been reading up intensely about it
Starting point is 00:28:46 because I wanted to make sure that I was doing the right thing. And I'm also, this is my thing. I love food. I love cooking. I just love health and wellness. And I just want to like really just have fun with it. So can you give him, like you set me a picture on his mango and he's... In a pit.
Starting point is 00:29:03 Yes, so can he just hold that and suck away at them, basically? Yeah. So we're on day four now and I've tried mango. But what I did was, I wasn't quite confident giving him a chunk of mango. Yeah. So I put a little bit in his dummy pacifier, but then I gave him the pit of the whole mango, which is meant to be great for babies at teething.
Starting point is 00:29:24 Right. Because they can't chew into it. It's a stone, but it's obviously got to. the mango all around it so it's nice and cold and he was loving it it's quite hard for him to hold you could roll things in like hemp seeds to make the grip better right you said to me about the banana so what I did was I gave him three options I gave him a banana peeled down to the very end where the skin's still on it but you peel the top so he's holding it perfectly holds it fine because it's got on the skin then I gave him chunks slices of mango of banana and then mashed
Starting point is 00:29:51 banana so we had three different options and he just basically just was like went in on it and then it's a complete mess if anybody has the IKEA high chair actually and the Stoke high chair I have neither I had the Mamas and Pappas one Enno I think it's called which seen them from like newborn stage and it's into a toddler but there's a thing called catchy
Starting point is 00:30:11 it's on Instagram search it and it's like a big massive plastic thing that fits on the Stoke or the IKEA high chair which is really popular high chairs and then when they throw it your floor isn't a mess or get yourself a dog yeah pay them and get a dog Get your dogs, Uber, because people were warning me like, by the way, this is going to be messy, and fuck me.
Starting point is 00:30:31 First of all, you had your cats do it? Oof. Would your cats? Eat it up, no. Why did the cats not do that? Don't know. Dogs just go in for it. They don't know.
Starting point is 00:30:41 They're fearless. Cookie would honestly eat my shite if I dropped it in one of the other, probably. My God. So, yeah, that's a good recommendation for you. Get the dummy pacifiers. I'm just so excited to try it all. So first day, day one I tried. was avocado, sliced it, roll it in hemp seeds as well for the grip, but I didn't do that,
Starting point is 00:31:00 just mashed it and sliced it. He loved it. The second day was banana. Yesterday it was sweet potato. He really liked that. A lot of gagging though. And you just need to stay calm. Because if they see you panic, it's almost like they're going to then know that this is a problem gagging in the sense of but not choking on it no I think choking you need to know the signs I've watched a few videos about it and
Starting point is 00:31:32 you know if they do choke you need to get them out face them downwards don't panic and just big backflows in between but that is so rare my health visitor said to me that this is the most common worry in anyone's parent journey is their baby choking
Starting point is 00:31:47 and she said in the 15 years she was a health visitor there's only been one case that think of the thousands of babies that she sees it is so rare but you just need to just be aware of it yeah but yeah search on youtube search on instagram there's loads of helpful videos that you can watch just to be a bit more you know confident in it they need to sit upright their feet need to touch the little thing underneath them yeah have really good head control and yeah just take it steady if you feel more comfortable than doing the mashed thing then do it but i don't know i'm just not scared i just think this is what they're designed to do right i'm ready for it
Starting point is 00:32:22 Yeah, it's good if you're not because I think that's the issue if people are too cautious, like the baby then is a bit like that maybe. Exactly. Or you're fussy eaters. You then think they're fussy, but actually you're kind of scaring them away. And baby led weaning has got some good research of babies being less fussy. I know, I mean, I'm not a parent, been for a long time, should I say, but they probably all eat chicken hooks off the floor eventually. And there will be a point where you're like, eh, I don't want to eat that. Yeah, exactly.
Starting point is 00:32:52 Well, Fussy. Oh yeah, me too. But as a baby, I'm sure I get everything. Well, all kids go through the stage, I think, because they just know they've got a choice or they know they can say no. So it's not even that they don't like it. It's actually probably just more like an attitude thing.
Starting point is 00:33:05 Yeah. More than anything. But I'm going to give him steak. You can actually have a whole, well-done steak pieces and suck it. It's meant to be amazing for them, like, full of iron. What the fuck, by the way? Anything that's fiber-rich, protein-rich is so important to help their gut microbiome as they're a baby.
Starting point is 00:33:20 I've been reading so much into it because you know what I'm like I love reading all about the gut and just all that jazz But there's a wee pouch suck that out yourself And people do do that right But that's just not
Starting point is 00:33:31 I don't I love cooking So that's probably I'm gonna have more fun with it Yeah I'm sure there's nothing wrong With having the odd pouch Here and there
Starting point is 00:33:39 But if I could blitz up some sweet potato I'd rather do that than give him a pouch of it No I know And it's also probably cheaper It's going to go further
Starting point is 00:33:47 So follow me on JJ, I'm not going to post too much of that stuff, but I will definitely do a roundup of my first month of weaning and I'll share a few bits and bubs because I've had so many messages of people saying like, I'm sitting waiting patiently, please help me. And I'm, I'm just on this journey with you all sisters. Like, I don't know what the fuck I'm doing. But I am, I'm just wanting to have fun with it. I'm being confident with it. And I'll gradually start adding in like eggs, allergens, dairy, shellfish. I'm going to be getting that kid eating sardines in no time. By the way, do you know what I did tell my friend to do the other day?
Starting point is 00:34:21 Because I was making it for my ice cream maker that I've got. Cottage cheese is having her moment right now, right? Yeah. Blitz it up, I've always loved it since I was a kid. Really? I do eat it, but I don't know if I would say I love it. Oh, my God, Zoe, I was obsessed. But even sure I would say I like it.
Starting point is 00:34:36 In a jacket potato with bread of bread cheese. Oh, I loved it. Rivita with ham, cracked black pepper. The texture gets me a wee bit. Full of protein. I know it's a bit slimy. But I blitzed it with some fresh. strawberries because they're in season so they're really good or we can play it's with cherries
Starting point is 00:34:52 froze it and i put it in like an ice cream mold and i sprinkled in some white chocolate chips which just reminded me and it was so good and i thought without the white chocolate chips this would be amazing so i sent it to my friend whose baby's 10 months and he loved it well because you're going to want to focus on that high protein yeah because they're growing and it's good for them for their bones and yeah i really recommend that guys if you want to get like an for yourself or for your baby ice cream pop nice for teething kids love it You could put it in pancakes, blend it up, make cottage cheese little pancakes for them,
Starting point is 00:35:23 Greek yogurt, berries. If I ever, if a miracle ever happens and I have a child in this life, they're coming to yours. Duh, welcome any time. I need to get a dining table first, though. But you've got to your auntie's for dinner, Monday to Sunday.
Starting point is 00:35:40 You know what else I'm going to do as well? This is so extra. I'm going to blend bone marrow. I've never had it personally. but full of collagen. Wow. I'm going to blend that with some stuff and maybe whip it through some nice feet potato.
Starting point is 00:35:54 He lives still have the same face in his 60. He's going to be blipping hench. He'll be going to do these CrossFit comments with his dad in no time, talking of his dad. Not only is he bowled, he's bought Jensen, Man United kits. So that's my son now, not a Lester City fan, not Celtic or Rangers,
Starting point is 00:36:10 he's a Man United fan. Also, I don't even know Richard was in the Man United. He lived there since he was 18. Yeah, no, but he's, I've never heard him mention. my whole life. Have you really heard him mention football even though he played it since he was a kid? No, me neither. That's what I mean. I'm shocked. Do you know what else I ate talking of ice cream, Zoe? You encouraged it. The Magnum. The Magnum. How good. How good out of ten? What's it called? Euphoria or something?
Starting point is 00:36:33 Euphoria. Bloody hell. Hazelnut one I had. Unbelievable. So good guys. Nees to try it. What about the layer that's in between the chocolate and ice cream? Is it like caramel? Yeah, it's like I cannot think. Oh, unbelievable. I keep so good. also I'm doing all my secrets here but if you've got a ninja cream you're going to get this freeze one that I've used all my ice creams with you need to boil double cream milk put in a cinnamon stick and cardamon pods and a little bit of vanilla essence freeze it then whip it in your ice cream maker it is cardamon vanilla ice cream is probably one of my new flavor favorite flavor combinations bit of Greek honey on top what's a hell not talking of Greek Honey?
Starting point is 00:37:19 You've got spit or swall for us as a couple. I have. Sorry, guys. I'm just on a foodie run today. Marie's wife has just been in Athens. God bless her. She's from Athens, right? Our mum's originally Greek, but she's American. Yeah, I know she's American, but she's got Greek roots. Yeah, her mom is Greek.
Starting point is 00:37:36 Yeah. And she picked me up this amazing Greek honey because I've got some from Kefalonia and I've been using it on everything, coding that ice cream. So I've got this to try. Love it. Another mummy tip. This is the best teething gel ever. It's called Freezy Derm Baby Gummers gel.
Starting point is 00:37:54 It is actually from Athens. I got it in Greece when I went. We bought three tubes because it was so good. So I got Kate to actually get me some. But to Murray was just sent me a link there that you can get it on Amazon, which I did not know. I was panicking like, please get it to get me this teething gel. But if you're looking on YouTube, it's called this,
Starting point is 00:38:12 and I'll add the link to the monthly newsletter if you are interested. Because I tried all the other stuff that you get in the shops. He doesn't like it. Well, I've got a spit or swallow for us. I'm ready. And then we've got one dilemma and we'll end it. We'll end it all. Are we over with pistachio or what?
Starting point is 00:38:31 Thoughts? No, I'm still for it. I had pistachio ice cream and holiday and it just reminded me how good it is. I agree with you. But I feel like we need a new nut. We need a new nut to get the hype and I think it's going to be hazelnut.
Starting point is 00:38:48 I love hazelnut. Fucking me too. I love almonds, actually, I think. Have you ever had a macadamia not? They're nice. They're nice with white chocolate. Right, so Marx's, duh, have bought out a new pistachio range and we've got this salted blonde chocolate, pistachio shortbread and cornflake bar.
Starting point is 00:39:09 Give that over here now. And we also have these, I had to have a go. The Swiss little clasp. that they do and it's called pistachia in shortbread crunch clouds. I'd imagine these are quite similar because this has got corn flakes in it as well and it's Swiss blonde. I think these are the exact same thing.
Starting point is 00:39:26 Do you know what I was thinking by the mind we got the clouds like those things before and they were so good? Like why did I not go and buy them again? Sorry that is unbelievable. Is that? Let me give a go. I reckon these are the same.
Starting point is 00:39:43 Describe it. Hmm? Describe it. like hmm that's kind of like um that's kind of like um it's not a gold bar what's that bar yeah i know what you're talking about yeah it's called gold is that what i'm thinking of it's the blonde chocolate it's kind of like that with crunchy bits in it right so this has got whole pastashoes through it crushed up corn flakes Oh my god. Soap bread bits.
Starting point is 00:40:22 Mmm. They are similar. Very. But they're more of like a cornflake cake texture. Yeah, they're more crispy. Yeah. I think I prefer the bar. Thoughts?
Starting point is 00:40:35 I could eat more of the clouds, though. Quite sickly sweet the bar. You're right. I'm sorry, but they're unbelievable. Wow. Wow, wow, wow. Yeah, we like that. And I brought this in to show you guys as well because
Starting point is 00:40:52 from Richard's episode you'd have had, he was doing a competition. He won it, guys. Did he? He did. Have I seen him since then? Yeah. He said you did an amazing thing of the day. He did loads of your one rep, Mac back squat five times or something.
Starting point is 00:41:09 And you had no idea. And apparently went, Richard, I don't care about that. Just want to be skinny. No, yeah, I did do that And I was supposed to go and do the bike this morning I can't because my legs are so sore And my knees are so sore And sorry, I can't go on a bike
Starting point is 00:41:22 My knees are about to fall off Your knees are sore? Yeah, that's not good. I know. Maybe tell him about that. He won, and he won like a goody bag and shit So he bought it all home And I saw this and I thought,
Starting point is 00:41:30 Okay, Sunfly, well nice branding, isn't it? Mm-hmm. And it's just a pouch of like peanut butter, I thought And it's not, it's sunflower seed butter Crunchy and then I got the smooth 7 grams of protein per pouch And it's actually not free. So I just thought I'd share this for anybody that's allergic to nuts or sesame or soy,
Starting point is 00:41:48 because it's got neither, rich in vitamin E magnesium and iron. No palm oil, vegan. So that's a big question I get all the time on pages. What can I use in like replacement of nuts? And anyway, I tried the smooth one and it actually does taste of nuts. But it's not any nuts? No, it's just sunflower seed butter. Amazing.
Starting point is 00:42:09 And the brand is called Sunfly. So check them out. I think it's new. Do you know what makes me sad in a way? How many amazing brands there is out there but you just don't know about them? Do you know what I mean? I agree. Especially if you do have an allergy like that
Starting point is 00:42:25 or you're really trying to cut something out and there is a solution but you just don't know about it. Yeah. I know if you googled it deeply you'd maybe find things but not all the time. Calgary, also known as the Blue Sky City. We get more sunny days than anywhere in the country but more importantly we're the canadian capital of blue sky thinking this is where
Starting point is 00:42:49 bold ideas meet big opportunity where dreams become reality whether you're building your career or scaling your business calgary is where what if turns into what's next it's possible here in calgary the blue sky city learn more at calgary economic development dot com let's end on our dilemma moving in with my boyfriend so clearing out his loft and find his ex-wife's wedding dress how would you feel about that obviously it's been left in his possession by accident surely you would take your wedding dress with you
Starting point is 00:43:27 she's obviously forgot do you think if all facts are known here right you know he was married you obviously know he's got a ex and you know it was his wife at one point would you see that and just be like that's like another thing we need to clear out or would you feel a bit funny about it
Starting point is 00:43:46 or would you say to them or would you think she's done it on purpose like what would your thoughts be? It's not going to be a very nice thing to say is it no but to me why on earth would the man want to keep the woman's wedding dress
Starting point is 00:43:59 that's been left there and forgotten about I think or just or just left to like adult I can't be bored like the wife's maybe being like I can't be bother taking one other thing from what you get rid of, so I'll just leave it.
Starting point is 00:44:15 Yeah. But with no bad intention. Or maybe I'll come back and get that one day and just say, I'm just here to pick up my wedding dress. Also, to be fair, why the fuck does she want her? I won't want to keep my own wedding dress to the ex that is with another woman. So maybe it's just a bit like, I'll leave this in the loft. I didn't bother taking it when she left out. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:44:31 And maybe she'll think I'll leave this in here just to fuck him up when he does move out eventually. It's so hard to think because from someone who's not been mad. or not being with someone who's been married either to me I would just be like I'll fling that in the bin like then being thinking of being with someone who's been married before doesn't bother me yeah but it's probably because I've not been through a marriage or a wedding to know how maybe a big a deal it feels or how how big a deal it is maybe yeah do you know what I mean because it's kind of like if I found something of Jason's ex say if he'd a house before we did
Starting point is 00:45:10 I would just be like it was obviously left by accident like I just don't think it would bother me well saying that Zoe have you got a memory box yeah do you have anything in it from any ex-boyfriends no see I do what yeah
Starting point is 00:45:26 I have a letter that my ex-boyfriend wrote to me and I just I've never parted ways with it and I don't know why and it's not because I hold anything there it's just a massive part of me growing up see that's probably the one thing that I would find weird is a letter. Really? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:45:42 No, I do agree with you. That's intense. That's like quite emotional, intense. You know what I mean? Every time I see it, I don't have any sort of emotional connection to it, but equally, I don't know, I feel probably quite weird just tucking it away. There's also a photo of my very first boyfriend, the only ever photo that I've ever got one and used to print it out. And I've still got that in there as well.
Starting point is 00:46:03 You and him in the photo? I was 15 years old. Oh, no, I've never done that. But Rich's memory box, he's got a piece of it. picture of him at his prom with his first girlfriend and I was like oh who's that and he was like oh that's my ex-girlfriend and I was like she looks great like I'm just not bothered about stuff like that I feel like it's different as well because they were all very young and like maybe didn't last that long yeah whereas I was kind of like a the one person and it lasted into my adult life
Starting point is 00:46:33 so yeah if I had a picture like with him from being like 15 which I would have had to but was also still with them. And it was only a one printout. But it was also still there at like 22. And if you got rid of it, you'd never have it ever again, you would just get rid of it, would you? But that's what I'm saying. I've got rid of all because it was all,
Starting point is 00:46:52 it was also my adult relationship too. Yeah. So that would be like, that would literally be my ex as in my last boyfriend who I was with for a long time. Whereas if it was just your like prom date slash boyfriend who you were like with at 17 for maybe like a few months. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:09 I feel like that's cute. but there's not a lot of depth to it whereas my only kind of major X situation there's a lot of depth there to be fair if I saw that Rich had a letter from an X I'd probably also be like wow but for me I'm telling you from someone that has that
Starting point is 00:47:24 there is no like I don't read through it like oh it's just one of those things that that's what I think is funny though because when you're in the situation you don't think there's any connection but then when you're looking at it from someone else you think that must mean something to you yeah no it doesn't
Starting point is 00:47:37 but it's actually a really nice letter it was very much like it wasn't I want you back it was more of a parting ways sort of letter and it was really handwritten and it was just lovely signed it off at the end like we hope you both go this way
Starting point is 00:47:50 one way and I go this way in life and wish you all the best it was a nice letter and you know what age you received that at it's very mature 18 that's very mature yeah it was nice
Starting point is 00:48:03 and then you got the picture of my first boyfriend it was like on a webcam and I thought if I get rid of this I'll never have a picture of him and he's a lovely guy I just don't know I just don't find that weird that's what I mean no you've got like a few different people that there wasn't much I don't mean this the bad way by the way but there wasn't much like depth to it you were young yeah it was a short-lived thing it's more like oh that's cute that was my first boyfriend when I was
Starting point is 00:48:28 like 12 or whatever yeah whereas because I just had the one situation and it went into me being an adult it's too deep almost like I don't feel deeply about it but it's too like yeah too many strings attached almost do you know what I mean I wonder if any of our listeners have done that like if you've kept anything from exes or maybe you do hold some emotion towards it and that's why you can't let go or have you held onto something for so long and then you've burnt it or binned it and felt this unbelievable weight off your shoulders because you hear about that don't you where people have held onto them just so long and then they finally get rid of it and it's like wow I'm so done with that and wash my hands of everything I think for me as well I just wasn't
Starting point is 00:49:12 it was nothing to hold on to that I would have wanted to it wasn't like a must get rid I just didn't have anything yeah also it was on off on off so any time we were back on everything I was already gone for the time before yeah see you there wasn't really a build-up of memorabilia interesting stuff I do think now like if I moved on from Jason now There would definitely be things I would keep. That's what I mean. Interesting, would you do that? Yeah, because there's things he's got me that like...
Starting point is 00:49:40 Like little teddies and things. But then what would you think if you had another boyfriend and then he went through your memory box and saw all your teddy's from Jason? How do you think that would make him feel? Do you think you would change your mind? I don't think I would keep things like that. Like, obviously you all know poops. I would keep poops, but that's mine now. Like, Poobs is mine.
Starting point is 00:49:59 Yeah, he got me, but poops is mine. But I would keep like he got me. Yeah, you know, like a printout of like you've got a star in the sky. Yeah. From when Bailey died, my way dog. Yeah. Like, Jason got like a star for Bailey. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:50:12 Like stuff like that. But it's not something for you to do with him though, is it? No, but I would keep stuff like that, which is from him. Like in my memory box, I've got the very first bottle of Mark Jacobs, Daisy perfume, empty bottle in there from Richard. Yeah, I've got stuff like that too. I don't think I could ever part ways of that. Even if Richard was so terrible to me, I don't know.
Starting point is 00:50:29 Maybe I'm just that sort of person where I find things sentimental. So I've got this memory box, by the way, if you can think I've got a bottle of Mark Jacobs, Daisy in there. You can imagine how big the fucker is. It's not a tiny little trinket box and I've got this one little letter and all this. It's massive. Yeah, mainsberg and it's full. But it's just a sort of box of memories that whenever I'm older, this is how I think of it, right? If I'm older, I'm an 80-year-old grandma and I'm talking about to my great-great-granddaughter,
Starting point is 00:50:55 I want to be able to go through that box with them and say, this is what happened in my life. I had this one boy, this is my first ever boyfriend. then this was the one that fucked me up then this is the one that I absolutely fell in love with and this is your great-great-granddad. This is the one that got me pregnant and now this is the love of my life. Yeah, I like it.
Starting point is 00:51:13 I like telling stories. No, absolutely. I do think you don't have to have this big mass of emotional connection to things and probably going all the way around back to this wedding dress thing. I don't think this is just a bit of a mix-up and she's probably left it there. Yeah. But I am interested into what people's opinions are on it
Starting point is 00:51:27 if you're really anti-any-any-one keeping it or if you want to keep it just for story purposes later life? I think the difference is, and I don't mean this in a kind of sexist way, but I think women... Hold on to things a bit more emotionally. Yeah. So I guess that's where maybe it's different for some people. Imagine in 50 years, right, and you are sick with your great granddaughter or grandson,
Starting point is 00:51:50 would we be logging into our MySpace or Facebook and showing them all of the pictures from our exes and all of our life and getting pissed up in the streets in the park? or would you, these sort of things that you have in this box are only the physical things that you'll ever have left to show them, because in the future, everything is just going to be online? I would rather the physical. I keep all my cards from certain people to.
Starting point is 00:52:13 Same. They're all in that box. By certain people, I mean like parents or grandparents. Grandparents, like write your bed club, but they've wrote a little something nice in it. Every pack of cards we buy, we're going holiday. They go in my memory box. We don't take them again. We get a new pack every holiday. Nice.
Starting point is 00:52:29 But stuff like that, I'm like, at one point, the flat's going to be full. Like, how many birthdays am I going to have for parents? Yes. But yeah, I do think it's a funny one. I just can't part ways or things like that. You know, if my nans wrote me a birthday card, it's the same thing she's written for the past 30.
Starting point is 00:52:42 No, I can't put that in the bin, though. I could never. Me neither. Because I love going through it. Yeah. I do keep a lot of stuff like that. I think just the relationship one for me that it just wasn't a thought at the time. But you know what I've got?
Starting point is 00:52:55 I've got things from my mum's memory box. that she's kept of letters and things from her past so I've now got that in my memory box what yeah I love it I love reading about I just don't know if there was any letters involved in my
Starting point is 00:53:11 past but I'm going to ask the question or cards or photographs my mum's just not giving memory box is she do you not really I feel like she gives holder vibes oh she's a hoarder but I don't imagine her putting like specific things in a memory box but I will ask her.
Starting point is 00:53:30 Yeah, let us know, guys. Let us know what you've got or... Have you found anything? Or if you've got anything that's been passed down from generations. Yeah. Because everyone used to write letters back in the day. We had to. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:53:42 Oh, I'd love that. I do think letters are lovely. Yeah. I hope me and Jason write to our letter one day, so we've got a letter from each other. Oh my God, do you know what I saw on Instagram? We'll end on this and I thought it was so cute. This couple do this tradition with their son.
Starting point is 00:53:57 every single birthday he's now four they sit together at night the night before his birthday they drink his favorite drink that year so I think the third birthday was apple juice so they sit at the dining table with apple juice and they write him a letter each parent and they read it back to each other about probably what they think of the baby
Starting point is 00:54:14 or that year they've had together and then they keep them all and they're going to give it to him on his 18th birthday I'll tell him over there for ages how cute that's cute but somebody wrote in the comments which I thought was a good point would you appreciate that when you open that at 18
Starting point is 00:54:26 And would you appreciate it when you opened it at 25? I think 25. That goes far as steady for a man. You reckon? I think it needs to be maybe if you're then in the midst of a family or in like in the midst of quite a serious relationship because you're then in that same head space almost that your parents were when they were doing it for you.
Starting point is 00:54:48 Yeah. Because 18, like you're out with the boys. You're like, oh, mum, that's cringe. Yeah. But one day you'd really appreciate that. Yeah. I'm going to do that 100%. Or do you do you.
Starting point is 00:54:56 just keep it forever until you're not there one day and then there's your letter show. Oh. No, right. It's getting deep. Okay, guys. Right, well, that was a rambling episode, but I hope you enjoyed.
