Starting point is 00:00:03 Happy Tuesday, guys. Welcome back to a lot on your plate podcast. How are you? Did you have a gorgeous week? Let's clap our rings together. Happy Tuesday. I realized I hadn't spoken there. How are you, Zaws?
Starting point is 00:00:18 I'm good, thanks, Jessica. How are you? Yeah, I'm feeling good, actually. A wee roll of the shoulders. My body's sore, by the way. From... Well, I had PT yesterday with Richard, and then I went to Matt Plattis this morning.
Starting point is 00:00:32 And I just feel a bit. Did you do hot mat or do you go Fosa? No, I went to Fawrza and just did normal mat. Yeah, but it got really quite warm in there. Yeah. But it was good, I enjoyed it. I just loved that it's next to me. I know that's so, so good for you.
Starting point is 00:00:48 I looked at the weekend and just planned out my week of what I could do each day and I can do more when it's closer. Yeah. So it's perfect. That is perfect. But I'm just feeling a bit sore, I think I'll be soreer tomorrow. Yeah. We had a nice weekend, didn't we?
Starting point is 00:01:02 we had the girls over on Friday night it was our friend's little mini baby shower shall we say and we did the cutest wholesomeest thing it was such a nice evening wasn't it? Such a lovely evening and I think we should tell you all about it because you can do it with your friends too
Starting point is 00:01:17 but yes we did like a little mini baby shower I put on a bit of a food spread just got some stuff from M&S to be honest popped a few things in the air friar and went in the dining room and afterwards we all just made little bag charms You'll see them all trending now at the moment, but I think she just got them off.
Starting point is 00:01:35 Was it Etsy or Timi or something? No, it was Sheen. Oh, was it? Sheen, yeah. And it was just all the little, like, block-coloured letters. Some of them were like marbled, the shoelace ropes.
Starting point is 00:01:47 Yeah. With some beads. The wee clas. Put it on your bag. And we just did about a million different names we tried to utilise all the letters. The one thing to note here is, I think, our friend Rebecca ordered them.
Starting point is 00:02:00 I think she said that you can, choose like combinations. Yeah. So maybe if you know who's involved you would maybe choose one that's getting more vows or whatever right. But see that,
Starting point is 00:02:11 see because we had a few different bags of letters, the amount of times that we were like, is anyone get an O? Who's got an A? Is it an A? See if I give you my, but you give me your eye.
Starting point is 00:02:21 And it's like, no, that colour doesn't work. The combination's off. We would act if I'm going to say a solid two hours, if not more. And then when it got to the end of it, I was like,
Starting point is 00:02:29 you know what, I should do another one. Did we manage to spell out adversity fucking fitness yes we did straight off the bat yeah it all matched we've been looking for every fucking letter note to man and we've just spelt out the longest combination
Starting point is 00:02:41 honestly and jelly gets all quite you know competitive with these things and she was sitting trying to spell grand obviously we can spell it but like trying to find the right combination of colours letters like still right for so long and then it ended up being fucking gorgeous
Starting point is 00:02:58 and I was like how did that happen I actually gave my mum hers this Did she like it? Yeah, she was like, oh, that's nice. She also gave me in trouble for saying that she was flirting. Oh, did she? She said I wasn't flirting. I was just responding just to make him feel okay. Oh, we love it, Suzanne, plain hard to get.
Starting point is 00:03:16 But yeah, I did the classic block colour jensen. And then I tried to make one for my mum, but I just was, I was not having the colour combination. Everyone was loving it. I was like, nope, don't like it. It was getting overstimulating, wasn't it? I was not impressed. But such a gorgeous activity.
Starting point is 00:03:30 A lovely task. And you could do anything you could paint pottery. Do you know what I really think we should do? Which we can move on to about our Patreon event that we just hosted the weekend there. I would love to get the girlies together and do craft pottery. I think that would be so cute. The Patreon girlies.
Starting point is 00:03:46 Yeah, I think so actually making it or just painting it? Do you know what? I would love to make pottery. But I think just painting it for now so we can have a little bit of the option of having a bit of a booze. Yeah, okay. It's not too... It's not too intense.
Starting point is 00:04:00 Yeah. But I really want to get some nice play. to put on one of my walls in my kitchen so I want to try and go quite often, you know? Build up a wee collection. Yes. Club pottery was really cute when we went. Yeah, it was.
Starting point is 00:04:13 So we should look to doing that. It was such a nice activity, guys, and it kept us all off our phones, we're all just having funny conversations. We had the Alexa on playing nice music. Bellies were full. No alcohol was involved. It was just a lovely, wholesome Friday night.
Starting point is 00:04:27 No booze. But on Saturday we hosted our... our second patron-only event at the holistic warehouse in Tradeston. We got the girly to do classes of Legree, hot, sculpt mat, which was solid and reformer. We had food on from Vin 18, which are doing some beautiful outside catering, by the way, you should check them out. We had chicken Caesar bowls, power bowls, fruit salads,
Starting point is 00:04:56 homemade protein balls, lots of different fresh juices. And it was a really nice, had Chloe fan, DJ and she had some of the best house bangers I think I've ever heard. It was very like I beat that like that sort of chill beach club thing, wasn't it? When it's like really good tunes but you're not like, un's, un's, un's, un's. Yeah. But there's a wee bit unes. Most people came alone.
Starting point is 00:05:19 And it was really nice when people came in. So there was like a group of girls all stood together that all sing like solo. And then I'd be like, right, those girlies are on their own. So she'd go and join the group and everyone was really welcoming. and, you know, had some really nice meshes from people just saying things like, you know, they were really nervous, but the community that we've built, they just absolutely love. And I think we should try and nourish that community even more by doing more meetups because I think a few people would exchange numbers and it's just dead sweet, you know?
Starting point is 00:05:46 Yeah. You know what? I think it's really, really brave that people do that. No, I know same. I just don't know if I could. Same. I'm going to be honest with you. I'm quite confident, but maybe that's probably because I don't,
Starting point is 00:06:00 I don't know. With a podcast, you're listening to it with your group of pals. Oh, it's kind of quite solo. Yeah. So I listen to a few pods that I'd like,
Starting point is 00:06:06 oh, I'd love to go to all their events, but I don't know anyone that listened to that same podcast as me. Yeah. But I think those kind of events where you're going specifically for something, so you could have just came in quite last minute and minute of the class.
Starting point is 00:06:19 Yeah. And kind of kept yourself to yourself. Yeah, of course. So for people who maybe aren't as confident or don't want to. Or don't want to. You could have avoided it. Oh, yeah, easily.
Starting point is 00:06:28 So that's quite a good balance, I think. because you've got, it'll cater for people who just want to do the activity. Yeah. But also if you want to chat, then people were hanging about and getting some... Oh, so you could chat with us. Like, we were chatting to everyone. I think I met everyone.
Starting point is 00:06:41 Yeah. So he's like, not me. The thing is, I'm just not going to approach in a conversation and joining in. Yeah. But it's not a rudeness thing. It's shyness. You are a bit shy, hen. But...
Starting point is 00:06:59 Do you know what I also said to a couple of friends that were there? I also said the thing is, if I was here, I wouldn't want the host, let's say, which is you and I, to come up to me. I would happily come. Even though you listen to their podcast week in week out. Yeah, but I don't, or I don't need you. You want to meet them?
Starting point is 00:07:19 No, I don't need you to come. I would quite happily go to my class and leave and just be like that. So if you went to Sophie Habo's event and she had a podcast, you wouldn't want to meet her. No, I'm not bothered with that. Even if you pay a subscription to listen to, like you'd be a... Yeah, I just...
Starting point is 00:07:36 No, I'm... Yeah, I'm not bothered by that. I just feel like, and that's what I'm saying, there's probably going to be people that come to our events that just want to enjoy the event. Yeah, of course. They maybe find us coming up
Starting point is 00:07:47 and, like, almost like, coron them a bit. But then I would probably think, like, oh my God, they didn't even come and say hi. No, I know there's absolutely a fine line. Yeah. Definitely. Whereas I would just happily go there Go to my class
Starting point is 00:08:01 Pick up a wee ball and leave I wouldn't care for internet You just take the freebie and do a fucking runner Pretty much Don't blame you wee hen And I do think there's both people out there No and as you're saying It caters for that 100%
Starting point is 00:08:13 Yeah definitely So we're going to do more of that So keep a close eye on socials But we'll just keep you updated On Patreon It's also worth mentioning Now that you can connect your Patreon To your Spotify app
Starting point is 00:08:26 You may have noticed if you do listen on Spotify that you can see some locked episodes. Yeah. So your side dish episode will be there in the feed, even if you're not a Patreon member, right? But let's say you just want to listen to the Patreon episode on your Spotify. It's easier for you than going into another app. Then definitely go into Patreon, connect your Spotify.
Starting point is 00:08:43 And those locked episodes will unlock and it's easy for you. So you'll never miss out. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Well, guys, we went to Sephora. We did. And it didn't burn down when I walked in. No, it didn't.
Starting point is 00:08:58 So, results all around for everyone, I think. Very overstimulated store. I have never... Yes, I've never been more overstimulated my life, is what I'll say. There was a lot. There was a lot going on. It was so busy, so hot, so loud. Yeah, well.
Starting point is 00:09:14 And just, yeah, there was a lot going on. Every person we possibly knew in that space was in there, which was lovely, actually. It was so nice to catch it with lots of people. Yeah. But when we got a minute, we did have a little shop and there was road. Although the blushes that we love are out of stock. Sold out. But Zoe, I got an email two nights ago to say tan lines is back in stock.
Starting point is 00:09:33 On the official row website, not freckle though. Right, so but do we think freckles coming potentially? Oh, for sure. It's taking quite a while. Taking such a long time. Like, there's the demands there. We got such a good goodie bag as well, which we gave you a haul over on a vlog episode side dish.
Starting point is 00:09:53 It was a really good goodie bag, like full size products in there. Dr Sam Cleanser, full-size-wow spray hair product thingy. What's that got, a dream coat? Dreamcoat, that's the one. There was also a big mass of hair mask. What was that again? Oh, I used that this morning.
Starting point is 00:10:14 Was it nice? Lovely. What brand was that again? Can't remember. Silver tube. With yellow down the side. Yeah. Then there was flat lay makeup bag.
Starting point is 00:10:23 You had milk products. Linage products. Medicaid. Medicaid. Oh my God, a medicaid toner. What was the BHA tonic? The one that you don't like. Polis Choice.
Starting point is 00:10:36 Paulus Choice. You got a full size of that. And by the way, I wish I did my homework and we probably could work it out to work out how much that was worth. Hundreds, Zoe. Yeah, no, hundreds
Starting point is 00:10:46 because that toner alone, the Polish choice is what a good 30 odd quid or something. Yeah, I think it's 30 quid. And then colour wise, like not the cheapest. That's about 30 quid at all. So hundreds. of pounds so I'm glad we turned up.
Starting point is 00:10:59 Yeah, same. And when we walked in, people got a white band and people got a black band and you get white and I got black and I thought, am I on this list is a plus one because I'm getting a goodie bag? That's what I came here for. And it turned out it was the opposite way but not intentionally. I think there was just a mix-up.
Starting point is 00:11:15 Well, a lot of people had a white band, didn't they? You're the only one with the black band. Yeah, but it was the white that we're having to ask. And it was morning up falling. She went up and she was like, I've just been declined a goodie bag. I'm absolutely motivated. And I was like, oh, I'm sure you'll be a loud one. And then there was a little bit of miscommunication anyway.
Starting point is 00:11:31 But yeah, it was good. And I think it's nice to have it there for road purposes. Road, makeup by Mario. House Labs, Tarts. House Labs. Yeah, favourite foundation. Merritt. Merit is in there, guys.
Starting point is 00:11:47 I fucking love that brand you now. I got the stick, which I've not actually used yet. That is one of them. Did you get Bisk? Yeah. I've not used any of my new products yet. See, anytime I'm getting ready, I've not really time to like trial and error, you know. I've been using the House Labs Concealer.
Starting point is 00:12:02 I love it. It's very thick. Right, okay. And I've got the merit blush on today that you got free in your goodie bag. Okay, it's nice. You also got the Refai. I did get the Refai Blush. But we then went through to Edinburgh the next day and you got the water-based Refai Blush, which I actually saw Chinzi I talk about.
Starting point is 00:12:24 What shade did she get? I don't know. She didn't see the shade, but I think it was maybe the one you got. Lichy, mine one. Yeah, my one is. Not the apricot. No, apricot was too peach on me.
Starting point is 00:12:33 But it's nice. We spoke to a lovely girl in the space in Kane, Edinburgh. She was an Australian girl. I can't remember my name. Was it Julia? Yeah, she was so sweet. And she just moved here. And she was so good at the customer service.
Starting point is 00:12:45 So anyway, I ended up buying the refined water bronze, a blush, because I'd seen it on. I think it was Lauren Watson on Instagram. And I thought, that's perfect because I need a blush. And I really wanted road. Yeah, but we can't get it. Anyway, I ended up getting that and then got a bloody merit in my goddy bag.
Starting point is 00:13:00 No, I know. I actually bought the COSA concealer. So you did. How's it working for you? Nice, I like it. I'll have you. But I also got codily eye serum. Yes, because she said to you in Space NK,
Starting point is 00:13:14 because you were saying. Maybe you should hydrate under your eyes if you're feeling it's going quite creaked and dry looking, which it was. But that was with hourglass, but I'm over that for now. So I got COSAS and I've been using the eye serum and it does look better. That's good? Because I looked 45 for a good few weeks there.
Starting point is 00:13:34 It wasn't great, it wasn't great. But when I got home, I actually couldn't find the cordially eye serum and I was telling the vlog about it. And then during the night that night, well, just as I was dozing off, I could hear. Oh, no. Okay. From the living room, a bit of noise. And she'd obviously taken out my bag when I was looking for it.
Starting point is 00:13:55 it earlier on the day. And I said that. I said she must have put it somewhere but I couldn't find it anywhere. She wants to hit it. Then she was ripping the box apart. Oh my God. And to the lid of the serum. I'm sorry. I haven't even used it yet. But it still fits on. It's okay but I was... Thank God. Urius. So I've got an
Starting point is 00:14:11 update about my blood results guys. Yes. Tell us. So I don't know where I last... What I last updated you were all. You hadn't even had them yet, I don't think? No. So I told you all that the doctor called me and he was going to give me a full on list. Yeah, I read out the list, didn't I? And lots of people said to me,
Starting point is 00:14:28 make sure you ask for a paper copy of your result. You're entitled to them. Something I would have never have asked for. I've never done that in my life. Same. Wouldn't even have thought. I would have absolutely taken the receptionist word for it, which by the way, I'm not saying they're not right,
Starting point is 00:14:42 but if you want to have a closer look at what's class as, quote, normal. Yeah. In, it might not be normal to you. It might be some further investigated to look at. Anyway, so I had my bloods and, no, yeah, then I had the phone call and she said, all looks fine, all looks satisfactory. And I thought, I'm not satisfied with satisfactory. That's just, I don't think that's a good word. I don't.
Starting point is 00:15:08 In that department. I think summer class is normal and summer satisfactory, right? I ended up writing this in the Patreon chat because I was absolutely livid, right? I was so lovely to this receptionist and she was like all satisfactory and I said please may I have a paper copy of my bloods what do you need them for? I've heard from a few people now
Starting point is 00:15:32 they shouldn't really ask like that either and I was like for my own records okay for my own records because I need to run this past a doctor before I can give you them and I went why is that that is literally what I said because if you don't ask questions
Starting point is 00:15:45 how on earth you ever meant to understand how things work. Yeah. And also, also, why is that? If they're ready and finish and they're going to be demolished
Starting point is 00:15:54 as of this point, I, then why you hold her my blood's hostage? Like, what the hell? So, she was like, Jessica. The full name.
Starting point is 00:16:04 The full Christian name. Jessica, this is our system. And I was like, I went, I'm not being cheeky. Then she went on a full on rant, your bloods,
Starting point is 00:16:16 no, what does she say? come to the surgery after 8 a.m tomorrow boom beep beep and I was like I actually was sat in my car and shocked like what the fuck just happened she actually hung up actually was the bouncer of the NHS or something I'm like what the actual hell I'm asking for my blood results no I know what the fuck anyway so I went in I was actually nervous I was texting you like I'm nervous to go to this yeah I would be nervous as well because if she's there I don't like confrontation like all I want is my fucking blood yeah so
Starting point is 00:16:46 I went in and there was a lovely girl on reception. She was like, oh yeah, they're here, an envelope. I opened it up. Obviously, it's like complete gobbledy gooch to me. I'm like pages and pages because I had so many tests. Yeah. Of my results. So I was like, what do I do here?
Starting point is 00:17:01 So I actually ended up texting Georgia from Balance Boss, who was on our episode because she was the one that said, go and get your bloodst done before we even look at getting additional costly tests, like the Dutch test and she had a map test. So I was like, perfect. She was really impressed as well by the extensive. I mean, that's good to know at least, isn't it? Yeah. So whilst she was actually on holiday, bless it, in Scotland, visiting her sister, and I didn't get a response from myself, I thought, that's fine.
Starting point is 00:17:25 So I actually took a picture of it and put it in chat, GBT. And I know that's probably not going to be correct when it tells me, but I just wanted an idea of, like, read this to me in simple terms. Yeah. And it just says, based on, like, what everything says, most things are normal, except the only thing I would flag here is your ferretin. Interestingly, somebody messaged me from the pod after me speaking about all my symptoms, like you should definitely look at your ferretin levels.
Starting point is 00:17:48 And I don't want to, I'm going to speak about this in a future episode because I ain't a doctor. I don't have a clue what I'm talking about. You've yet to find out everything you need to know. I think it's definitely best that I speak to professionals and stuff on this. Yeah. But it seems a bit of a buzzword right now and I've seen that name. It's all I see.
Starting point is 00:18:07 Chilli came over to mine at the weekend. She went, Jess, ferritin's everywhere on TikTok at the minute. I was like, I've never seen this before in my life. I don't think I had until you sent me that video being like you've got this. Zomi, I definitely think you need to get your ferretton levels checked because of your hair. No one all same. And your tiredness and your can't be arsonous. I do.
Starting point is 00:18:25 I really do. Is that just a problem? But so I can confidently tell you that apparently, because I had so many people message me, same thing. Like it's very common for ferretin to be low in women because we lose so much blood. Ferritin, don't quote me on this, but I believe it is your iron stores in your body. body. So you've got iron available to you. So you get you get tested for iron as well. Yeah. And then you'll also get tested for your ferretin, which is your stored iron. Okay. And there's a lot of connections with your gut health because if your gut health, let's say you've got SIBO or you've got leaky gut,
Starting point is 00:19:02 if you're having issues absorbing nutrients in your body, it can't absorb the iron. So you need to look at that option as well. And there's other tests in your blood counts that you should absolutely look at against the ferretin to see a bit more of an idea. Yeah, okay. An indication of the root cause. Apparently, it's one of the hardest things to increase unless you're eating freaking steak for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Also expensive, no?
Starting point is 00:19:29 Yeah. You could look at the root of a iron infusion. So my level was 27, which in women now, it shouldn't be, below 30 is classed as low. Mm-hmm. Right? But what upsets me the most is that, that reset. did say to me like that's satisfactory. I had a GP message me and say
Starting point is 00:19:49 because I've posted it was 27 that she would have a call with me and tell me to put me on the iron supplements. My GP didn't even call me. So make that make sense. Yes, so inconsistent though which is the problem. Yeah. And then if you weren't like you
Starting point is 00:20:05 who was really thinking but I'm not really happy to accept this and you would never have known this information. The only reason I'm not happy to accept it Zoe is because everything else was normal and for me that's the only thing off I've been telling you now for weeks
Starting point is 00:20:19 I'm not been feeling good last time that happens I was pregnant so like I know my body and I know that's not I'm not pregnant by the way no I know but that's what I mean like not everyone's like that like I'm very lack of daysco in that department you are and that's why I try and push on these things all the time I'm like so you should get this tested but the majority of the time they're so unhelpful
Starting point is 00:20:38 I get it it's such a shame that we lack that what so I'm going to go and say I've got an ear infection again and they'll say here's three days these antibiotics. Like I'm fed up and I'm giving me the same fucking thing. And that'll be harrowing you gut health, Zoe. No, I know. It's a full rounded in there. It's no great. Speaking of. Yeah, speaking of. I got my clonic
Starting point is 00:20:55 irrigation. Tick off the 30 before 30. Honestly, as soon as I walked out of the door I got my note sap up. We were saying like if Zoe's going to do a roundup, Rhea or carousel of her of her 30 before that, you're going to put your raw asshole on the photo or a shit emoji. I should take a picture of the tube
Starting point is 00:21:15 Yeah How was it? It was an interesting experience to say the least But do you know what It was manageable I think I found it slightly less manageable Than I probably would the next time Because I wasn't having a good week
Starting point is 00:21:31 In that department And I kept feeling the sort of urgency to go So when she Was doing The actual thing Yeah I was a bit worried that I was actually having to go
Starting point is 00:21:44 and not just feeling the pressure of the water. So, because what they do is they'll put the, obviously they've inserted the tube and they've put the water in but then they clamp it every so often so that it stays in you.
Starting point is 00:21:59 It stays pressure and it's not coming in and out and it builds up and then you'll say okay like... I need to go. Yeah, let it remove the clamp. But because I was feeling a bit that's basically how I'd been feeling all week I was having a, you know, clench every so often.
Starting point is 00:22:14 Yeah. So I was about like I'm worried I'm going to basically shart all over you. Which, you can't know if you've got a tree up your bum. No, I know, but I think if it was quite an explosive, this didn't happen by the way, so no one's stress. But see if it was quite explosive, it, maybe would. Do you know what I would love if that AI generating clip
Starting point is 00:22:31 farming thing on TikTok clips this post of you? Saying that shard, she'd even know what I didn't. Anyway, it was fine. And yeah, I would. I mean, there was no broccoli, like, floating down the tube. Yours truly. Did see. However, there was just a lot of, like, excess wastage and gas.
Starting point is 00:22:55 Bubbles. Yeah, bubbles. And after it, like, I had to go a few times, probably within a couple of hours. But since then, I've been fine. What, your stomach's back, you think you've had a little bit of a reset? Yeah, I think it's been a good reset. And she said it'd be good if I went in maybe a couple of times. over the next couple of months
Starting point is 00:23:13 just to keep it going and try and get it back to like 100% full health And you're going to get yourself booked in for some lymphatic as well as though we? Yeah well because I do enjoy that
Starting point is 00:23:22 Do a course of three But yeah I think the chronic I mean don't get me wrong It's uncomfortable at the start because something's going in your bum hole And if you're like me
Starting point is 00:23:32 I only have things coming out My bum hole In this life okay Same But see if you are used to things That's in your bumhole It's probably even be that uncomfortable probably be quite nice
Starting point is 00:23:44 you'd probably find it enjoyable but yeah it was actually fine I went to a woman called Sally Cullen are she back she's literally just off a Canaan Street right next to Zima yeah so it's literally right next to Zima it's in like a kind of
Starting point is 00:24:00 a door that you wouldn't have noticed before but it's couldn't be more obvious to you now if you're looking for it and she's in the top floor show up and up the stage because I hate a lift especially like a a wee office lift at that you know what I mean yeah those wee narrow And it's like when you go to Ministry of Laser in the old place, do you remember? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:24:15 So, yeah, it was, I really recommend her. Look that. She was very knowledgeable. She said she would let me know anything after that she thinks would, like if there's any signs of anything specific. But she basically just said, why don't you try the FodMap diet if you feel you've got symptoms of that, which I've done it before. It's just hard.
Starting point is 00:24:35 Yeah, it is, isn't it? And try and take a probiotic. Oh, getting epitome. Sick of it. Ain't working. And it doesn't work for me either. Doesn't work. But then that's a thing though.
Starting point is 00:24:47 Yeah, it's got really bad good health and prayerbostic statement. Yeah, I know. So, yeah, but I'm glad I've done it. It was a good thing to talk. I don't know, but so many people on the same. So many. I feel like I've actually got a lot of friends, though,
Starting point is 00:25:01 that really don't have wishes work out and I just can't believe they live life like that. Same. Do you know what I was thinking would be fantastic for us to do on an episode, maybe the next couple weeks, is we collate a list because the amount of questions we get is where'd you go for laser hair removal, where'd you go for lip blush, where'd you go for you get your bum all washed, where'd you go for
Starting point is 00:25:19 lymphatic, where's the best MUA, hair, lashes, you name it. Let's do a full list of options for you girlies to go to people that we've tried and trusted. Our service providers. Yeah, because let's get it all in a list. We can add it to the newsletter, which is free for everybody. And we can maybe save it somewhere. But, yeah, I think it's a good one. We'd give you different options. Not everyone just in base in Glasgow. There's people in Edinburgh.
Starting point is 00:25:45 I've been to places in Manchester. Yeah. Lester, London, like dentists. You get loads of questions about your teeth. Dr. Andrew, my friend. Teeth whitening. Maybe don't post your surgeon, but I mean,
Starting point is 00:25:57 people need to do their own research with that sort of stuff. But definitely, definitely a whole list of places that we can recommend to you. Isn't it weird that I have with surgery? So weird. Like, see when you see other people talk about having surgery. It's a big deal.
Starting point is 00:26:12 It's a huge deal. You got your tits out on Friday night. They were gorgeous. That was no alcohol, by the way. If anyone wants to see them on us, I'll show you just not on YouTube. You just get them out of the next thing. I think just because they're not, they don't feel like mine anymore. I'm happy to show them.
Starting point is 00:26:28 I know they are, but you know what I mean? They're made like that. I know what you mean, yeah. It's not like my natural that I hate. Yeah. But yeah, it's weird that you've just had surgery and then it's just over. But it actually got me thinking that if you are really unhappy with something
Starting point is 00:26:42 and you've spent a lot of time thinking about it obviously then why the fuck not absolutely Zoe I was saying it to someone somewhere I can't remember where it was and I just thought it actually makes you realise
Starting point is 00:26:54 like see if I think about now if I didn't get that how unhappy I would still be with that area of my body yeah what would I just live like that forever do you what I mean I completely understand what you mean
Starting point is 00:27:07 I feel like we've said it million times I think everyone should be able to do whatever they want with their body, whatever makes them feel. Your wee clear of the throat there was so ladylike. Why? Is it normally? Yeah, and like you're re-handed up.
Starting point is 00:27:23 Sorry. No, I know I agree. So I think, fuck it. I mean, obviously these things cost a lot of money and you need to do your research. The only thing on the list that we're going to be talking about that is actual surgery if you being put to sleep is it would be breast, but we're not adding that to because you do your own research with something like that, I'm afraid. I mean, I told you I went to Ross Hall,
Starting point is 00:27:45 so that's all you need to know. You can look at people there. But yeah, that's a good idea, because people like self-care. I just think it just might simplify things a little bit because you do, you know, we research a lot into this stuff that we go to. Well, and it's funny because when I was looking to book a clinic,
Starting point is 00:28:04 I was like, where the fuck did I go for that? Exactly. And I know you'd been to someone. I went to someone on Dunbarton Road. she was great actually. I'd heard of like a few people talk about it, but when I actually was Googling it, you know,
Starting point is 00:28:16 and it's just about overwhelming. You know, I don't really know what to do about all this information. I just want someone to tell me where to go. Yeah. So hopefully that helps. And what we could do as well in the list
Starting point is 00:28:23 is we could link some of the podcast episodes from aesthetic professional nurses, people that are a bit more qualified in areas that we're suggesting that you can have a little listen to. If you like them. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:28:38 Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Georgia, Izzy, people like that that you couldn't have a look into. So I thought that might be nice. Let us know if you want that. Lovely idea.
Starting point is 00:28:48 I went to see The Odyssey, by the way. Tell us everything. It was a good experience, long. Is it? Yeah, it's but three hours long. Is that a bit long for the cinema, maybe? Because you're never getting a bit sore bummed in that.
Starting point is 00:29:03 Yeah. And the seats that we'd actually booked when I sat down and went to put myself back, the recliner wasn't working. Oh my God. our killer. But we managed to get moved but a few more people came into that screen because it was then fully booked
Starting point is 00:29:15 and theirs wasn't working and they just had to deal with it. Unless they wanted to leave. I'd be fuming. I'd be absolute furious because I was lying back feet up. Anyway, it was a really good film. I enjoyed it. It was interesting. Actors were great and Hathaway looks 28.
Starting point is 00:29:31 Oh, she in it is she? I don't know much about it to be better. Her, Tom Holland, Zendaya. Oh, right. Matt Damon. Robert Patterson. Wow, what a mix? Yeah, there was a huge mix. He's not looking great, by the way.
Starting point is 00:29:46 What, Robert Patterson? He's not, does he not look great for the film, though, the role? I mean, yeah, he's just kind of needs to look like a guy in it, really, but I just don't know that he's just a vampire. Yeah, this is the thing with like Daniel Radcliffe. I know. Oh, yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:03 We won't get us how he started on Daniel. No, don't give me starts in time. But, yeah, it was a good film. I enjoyed it. my friend Lindsay sent me loads of voice notes before I went because she went to see and she gets quite obsessed with things. That's putting it lightly. And she was, you need to know all this information. I didn't listen to one voice because I was like, number one, no I don't.
Starting point is 00:30:22 No one else has said that to me. And I came out with zero questions. Like I have zero questions about it. In my opinion, it's clear that the Greek god is about Greek mythology. It's the Greek gods. That's it. Your fate, last. in their hands and that's what the film's about and I have no further questions.
Starting point is 00:30:45 This is a really, really stupid question potentially. Is it a true story? I can't you tell you. I have no idea what this is about by the way so I don't know if that's a silly question or not. I mean I don't imagine it is if it's well do you know what? I don't know because it is about a war. There's a war before this film that there is a film about I think. Right. The Trojan, Trojan. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:12 That, that's before this. I'm sure that's a true story. Oh, I'm sure, right. Guys. But I just do really come away from these things like just... Like meh. Yeah, like... You're easily pleased.
Starting point is 00:31:26 The film was the film. I just don't now need to go video about Greek mythology. I just don't. It's a little bit like the really sad court case that's going on at the moment. Lindsay Clancy, everyone's like becoming completely fascinated but they're going away because it's a current court case in America at the moment but everyone's really researching into it
Starting point is 00:31:47 everybody's like, did she do it? Did he do it? Blah blah blah blah blah blah. So I just don't think I can't see you doing something like that. I don't do anything like that. Really, I said this my friend Lindsay because then she actually, so Saturday night we went and she was out so I think a message was saying
Starting point is 00:32:04 I don't understand what you had questions about Yeah. Like to me, I can get one to learn more about things but it wasn't confusing. Yeah, it didn't end up confusing. She was like, I had questions like, who's that, who's that, who's that?
Starting point is 00:32:18 And I was like, well, I don't know anything about the specific Greek gods they were talking about but like you didn't need to to understand the film. Yeah. So I've not came out of thinking and I don't want to know about them because I just don't. But she then, because she was out
Starting point is 00:32:31 and like was drinking whatever, the conversation like was quickly over. And she mess with me yesterday saying, I was just about to message you saying, can we talk about the Odyssey more, and then realise, don't give a fuck. And I was like, but what is there to discuss more? It's the same when I went to see,
Starting point is 00:32:48 what was the film we loved that? I went to see in Australia with Molly. Oh, I can't remember that. Jacob and Margo. Oh, yeah. Withering Heights. And Molly asked me about 40 times after it. But what else did you love?
Starting point is 00:33:02 Like, say more. But she's a proper movie buff, though. I know, but I just loved the film. Like, I don't. have anything that I want to know, Google. She was really pushy for me to watch Marty Supreme. Yeah. And me and Richard watched it.
Starting point is 00:33:14 It's free on Amazon, by the way, if you want to go and watch it. And I completely agree with her that it's a really hooks you in, fast-paced movie about a guy that played ping pong, right? But it ends so abruptly, I'm not going to give you any spoilers. But I had a thousand questions after that. Like, me and Rich looked at each other saying, like, what the actual fuck? But then I kind of just sat at my own thoughts and I deeped it. I thought, these sort of films are the ones that win Oscars and win awards because they are
Starting point is 00:33:39 different and they sort of, you know, the way I think you win an award is where it's like an unforgettable movie because of its weirdness, right? Yeah, 100%. It's done differently. The director's been a bit brave or something or it makes you think. And the way it ends, I'm not going to say, but like it does make you completely rewrite the whole story in a different sort of plot. Do you see it and definitely.
Starting point is 00:34:01 Of like why he did what he did or it's more about his character. Yeah. you sort of having to be left with to think about. It's quite interesting movie worlds. I think I'm quite good at, and it's maybe a positive or a negative, I'm not sure. You're quite good at just... I kind of say it's a positive because, like,
Starting point is 00:34:18 we've all got lives to live. So, like, I can just leave the cinema and be like, that was really good film, would recommend. And, like, I'm then going home and, like, doing shit that's important, that, like, needs to be done. I'm not going home and, like, sitting on my phone and, like... You just not got one. out of passion.
Starting point is 00:34:37 Like, oh my God, like, it was the same we were watching Stranger Things. You all in the group chat were doing my fucking tits in because you were like, but how did you get into the upside down? I'm like, because it's a fucking program. But what started upside down? Like, how did it just end up there?
Starting point is 00:34:53 I'm like, because the producers just decided one day we're going to do a program but upside down. Like, there's not, there's nothing more to discuss. Yeah, I do get it. And don't get me wrong. See with it when it as documentaries and maybe like Michael Jackson, right, Things like that, that it's about something that's maybe real. I probably do.
Starting point is 00:35:11 I will have a quick Google about like... True crime and things like that. Yeah, and like, dead they've kids. What age were they when they die? Like, how did they kill them? Like, I will have a few questions. But you're talking about things that just aren't real. When it's just a film and you're just going to see it,
Starting point is 00:35:24 just enjoy it and then leave and move on. Yeah, I like that attitude, Zoe. Couldn't be more. Like, it just isn't that deep. Yeah. A lot of films are not deep because they're films. for a reason because it's not real. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:38 I do know what you mean, yeah. But I suppose there are people that I really love films that it has to all make sense to them. But I can kind of understand it if you're a pure... Especially stranger things though. That's something that is being in people's lives. But unlike us, we watched it pretty last minute, right? Yeah, they all together, kind of.
Starting point is 00:35:57 But somebody that's been invested in it for years of their life, they want the answers, Zoe. But there's a difference between answers as in like, storyline answers, you guys were like starting to get into like production. And I was like, end it here. Like there was, there was some cross wires with the writing from the early days. Yeah. They fucked up there.
Starting point is 00:36:21 And it was like, but they didn't mention fucking so. But it wasn't just our group chat. It was the whole of TikTok, the whole of Instagram. Where did so and so go from season one? I was like, they get left in season one for a reason. Like, forget about them. We're on season six. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:36:34 Just leave them in the past. You are right there, Zoe. We should all be more like you. I can even know that. It's really taken a term, this whole wedding chat, guys made chat. Right. I have been asked to be a celebrant for my two friends.
Starting point is 00:36:49 The vast. Yeah, they asked me weeks ago, but I haven't been able to say because other people didn't know at that point. By the way, that's what I make job say more. Yeah. So I've been asked to officially marry my two friends, Haley and Shiv. They have mentioned it to me honestly the longest time, Even before they were even engaged, they were like, we would love you.
Starting point is 00:37:07 Yeah, it was always a bit of chat. Yeah, I've always been like really pro them being together. I think they're wonderful. They're just perfect. They are literal soulmates. No, I couldn't agree more. And just there's just been a lot in their relationship that I think I've gone through with them. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:37:22 So they've very much, obviously, really want me to be a special part of their day. They've got their own bridesmaids, whatever. And they said, we really think that you'd be amazing to marry us to be a celebrant. I think there is a lot of like legalities around it. So we need to look into it more because I might just have to sort of declare their marriage and conduct the ceremony, but I wouldn't be legally marrying them.
Starting point is 00:37:44 So you'd need somebody to come in and do that part. Yeah, I was going to ask what, how that, yeah. Or I could go and do a course and be a celebrant and do that. So it's something we can look into, but if anyone's been asked to do that for some friends, give me some tips on how to conduct. I mean, I know I'll be fine. I think the one thing that I'm going to be a little bit,
Starting point is 00:38:02 because I'm quite emotional at weddings as we've discussed. Yeah, I'm going to try to attach their emotions slightly maybe a bit, but also it'll be quite nice that you're emotional. But I haven't seen, I've asked to not see their wedding dresses. So I'm like, I know when they first both walk in.
Starting point is 00:38:18 Maybe you should see them. No, I don't want to, Zoe. No, I know, but you've got a job to do it. Oh, it's hard. But I think I'd be able to compose myself. Obviously, I would if I'm up there. It's not like, everyone's going to be looking at them anyway. but it's going to be extremely hard for me to be like
Starting point is 00:38:35 see them walking like oh my god you look both amazing and will you be standing there as they walk down yeah I guess where um I mean I guess I suppose if they do need someone to do it legally maybe they would do that and then you would come yeah so then speak around about their story maybe it's more about their story yeah and I'd have to go and visit both sides of the family
Starting point is 00:38:59 get all the stories together that's fun by the way It's like a storytelling day and I'm good at that No, you are So I think it'll be It'll be fun If you want to hire me Let me know
Starting point is 00:39:08 Yeah maybe this will be Maybe this will be in your career for you No I don't know But I am Yeah I'm looking forward to Obviously marrying my two
Starting point is 00:39:15 Really good friends That's fun Yeah And they're just It's going to be such a good day They're actually getting married At Bridge Gardens Which looks beautiful
Starting point is 00:39:23 venue by the way Yeah it does look Really gardens They're just hiring like two food trucks It's not going to be A Twilight wedding But it is in fact they are actually all getting married there now
Starting point is 00:39:34 that's all changed they're getting married there as well because before they were going to get married in the city chambers I think have a meal to have a party but it's all going to be there nice but there's no sit-down meal it's going to be fun and then this is the Hendo that I'm helping plan as well
Starting point is 00:39:47 we've picked a location I'll tell you after the pod most people have agreed to it a couple of people can't do it so this will be my first experience of being in a big group chat of a Hendo I'm not like organising it solely by the way
Starting point is 00:40:03 I'm in fact two of our best friends are really on the ball with it and have done a lot so we'll just me and my other friend will do something special what she wants us to do there was a few tick lists she listened to this podcast I'm trying to be careful with my wordings
Starting point is 00:40:19 but there was a few things that we have ticked off as she end the chat or not she was in that she created it and she left okay fine because of my other friend as well obviously I'm her friend too I'm not going on her hand do
Starting point is 00:40:34 because it's going to be at the same time okay so yeah how exciting but what a fucking ten of events I've been asked to be someone's bridesmaid of the yorker now I'm going to be someone's fucking celebrant
Starting point is 00:40:49 next we just need you married nah one day one day I'll get married I swear you have to fuck if you're coming me one day see I get married yesterday I'll be so annoyed. I unfortunately think that that is what's going to happen Zoe because...
Starting point is 00:41:02 At least tell me it's happening. You'll be there. You're doing great, sweetie. I'm sorry to eat in. I'm worried I won't be is what I'm saying. Do you know what the issue I find with getting married right? Is the fact that I've always been quite vocal if I do it it would be quite intimate, right?
Starting point is 00:41:20 It's then I would then get carried away. No, I know you've said that. If I tell you would have to do it. I know, I just can't do it. No, but it's more like you would want to be. intimate before you know what you were getting married like about white wedding. And you know what I'm like that would happen. I would be in a big ball gown by the end of it. No, I know. I fear I would be the same. Remortgage in my gaff and all that. Yeah. Yeah. I think it's
Starting point is 00:41:40 difficult when you know we do events and stuff to not have to add like X, Y and Z on. I'd find that really difficult. So I think just to simplify it, you're just going to have to keep it really, really. It needs to be really small. Yeah. Yeah. One day, who knows, things change. Things change. Look at me now. Opinions change, you change your mind. It's all fucking fine. We can do that, you know.
Starting point is 00:42:05 It's not legal. Oh my God, but she said that one time. Oh my God. How dare I? Have a child. Before we have some dilemmas, I want to ask you a quick question about your 30 before 30 list.
Starting point is 00:42:25 Are we the cordial right now? Yeah. All right. I want to know exactly what's left on it because it's your birthday in literally about two, three weeks. And I want to know what Jason's getting you. Isn't that scary? Because you are going on quite a few travels over the next few weeks,
Starting point is 00:42:42 so it's good because at least we'll have somebody to talk about some new interesting things on this podcast. No, I don't like me at all me. I do. Right, let me get my list up. I accidentally deleted it the other day, but I could get it from deleted notes. I was on my laptop and I like,
Starting point is 00:42:58 deleted something. Do you want to know a tip Zoe about notes whilst we're on it? You know if you type something in your notes and you accidentally delete it? Oh yeah, what is this again? Shake your phone and it comes back and it says undo and you press yes. It's literally... What? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:13 What the hell? Good tip for you all. Right. So left I've got Skydive. Which you can't get in. I can't get in before I'm 30 so I just need to book it. So anyone listens to us like knows a skydye company. Get in touch with Zoe and get her on a wait list please.
Starting point is 00:43:28 If you don't say it, I'll say it. I might just book it like for 50 years' time and hopefully I'm going to be doing that on your 30th birthday. Oh no, we can't because you're doing something exciting. Read 30 books. I'm on book number 29 so nobody's stress. I'm currently reading yesteryear. Yay! I don't know if I love it as much as other people do. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:52 But I don't think you're meant to, you know. Yeah, I think once it's finished, I'll have. I'll have loved it. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? Like loved the process. But yeah, it's a quite a different book, isn't it? It's very different and I don't really know where it's going.
Starting point is 00:44:08 It's going to be a film, you know, that's one Anne Hathaway's book. That's right. Or is it Reese With the Spoon? In Hathaway. No, I think it would be a good film. It's just hard. Sometimes when you don't have a clue where books going, it's kind of hard to stay. Sometimes that really makes you interesting, sometimes it really makes you kind of be like,
Starting point is 00:44:25 just get to it. cooking or baking class but we are doing a baking class 24 hour digital detox where you'll read your 30th book hard copy yeah I'll need to buy email and make a lasagna from scratch easy
Starting point is 00:44:43 easy work something that I'm going to need to change is walk with the pigs that snout about tell us why because they've got no availability no availability and Dundee's quite a far until next year.
Starting point is 00:45:00 What? Yeah. And you know what? There's a few of things that have changed over time on this. Yeah. And it's not in a can't achieve manner.
Starting point is 00:45:11 It's just in a... You've changed your mind? Yeah, it's like... I decided I didn't want to get colour analysis done because who cares. Yeah. And I can't remember
Starting point is 00:45:19 what was in there before but I changed that to something. Whatever it was, I forget now. And yeah, I think that's okay. You change your meaningful piece So you changed your watch to something. To buy something meaningful.
Starting point is 00:45:31 Yeah, because you didn't want that watch anymore. You're like, I like that now. No, I know. And I'm not going to then. Yeah. I'm not going to then. Yeah. So there's been a few edits,
Starting point is 00:45:38 but nothing major. All the big ones have stayed. Yeah. So I've got one, two, three, four, five. I think you've done phenomenal of it, to be honest. So, do you know what? I'm doing well. You're a wee hen.
Starting point is 00:45:52 And what's Jason getting you? He's taking me to Paris. Oh. We, wee. we, we for the third time together. We love Paris. It's giving engagement ring. Just saying, it's not because it's my 30th. So it's not.
Starting point is 00:46:05 When does that ever stop to man? I don't know what it should. Have you said that to him now? No, but I know he's not proposed. I just know. How do you know? I just know it's not this year. I just know. With the too much on, I just know that. Okay, fair.
Starting point is 00:46:18 Anyway, and I'm fine with that. Anyway, we were discussing this on Friday that is acceptable for a man to propose on 30th. And we've always historically said no. Yes. Right. And I do still stand by that, but I think there's a difference. For example, if that happened to me in Paris, he's taking me to Paris former 30s. So that's my gift. Yeah. Paris is my gift. But he's using this opportunity for a special moment in a place that you love to propose.
Starting point is 00:46:45 Yeah. So if he did do that, I wouldn't be mad at that. The ring's not your gift. Yeah. It's not instead of a 30th gift. Yeah. Plus, as you said, a place we love. And I'm already there and I'm buzzing. because it's my 30th and I'm in my favourite place. Yeah. So if that happened, I'd be like, oh my God, it's just like an extra thing that's made this amazing.
Starting point is 00:47:04 Whereas if you wake up on your 30th birthday and you go through at the living room or you're on holiday and you go out to the beach and then the presents of the ring, that's different. I agree.
Starting point is 00:47:15 I mean, but too fair, what did he get you for your 30th and you'd say he proposed? Whereas if it was in my situation, I would say he took me to Paris. But on the flip side, that's people, wish that for their birthday's Christmas is for their eternity to have a ring.
Starting point is 00:47:30 Exactly. If that's what they like, then fine. But I think because if Jason turned round to me tomorrow and said, I'm never going to propose to you, I don't want to get married. I would say, no problem, I'm fine with that. Yeah. Whereas if you really want it, you probably would start to take it whenever the fuck they were going to give it. We'll fucking take it whenever.
Starting point is 00:47:44 So yeah, I'm not bothered, but what we're doing is flying to Paris on my actual birthday. Lovely. What a special day? I don't think I've ever done that. No, me neither. On my actual birthday. and I like my birthday so I usually I'd probably not want to go on the day but the night before I'm going to go for me with my family wake up go to Paris and then at night we're going to Mulan Rouge
Starting point is 00:48:06 I've never been there you can have a great time I've never been to the Mulan Rouge I've been outside and had a pick yeah I've looked at it and thought wow but I've never been inside I can give you some bars around that area it's really nice yeah please do because it doesn't start until 11 and then you've got your birthday party the next week which I can come to
Starting point is 00:48:25 I was going to keep a surprise but I thought I don't want to make it about me on the night so I'll tell you before I mean it still wouldn't I made it about you and it would be a nice surprise but I don't know but wouldn't it? We'd walk in like whoa like fuck off No but I don't care about stuff like that
Starting point is 00:48:38 but no I'm glad I know because then we can discuss outfits and such you know so yeah then I've got my 30th at CC rooftop I'm excited because I go to Buddha Press with my mum anybody press recommendations please send them my way I will have my child with me
Starting point is 00:48:54 and then I fly back and I'm coming straight to your party on that day Whoa, party Me and Rich You'll need some of those spicy marks to keep me going Oh, the Paloma's all the way
Starting point is 00:49:06 You like the polona's there A little bit of both A wee mix Yeah But then actually to note So this is the timeline For everyone interested Yeah tell us everything
Starting point is 00:49:15 Oh five of you that probably care Is the South of France Is first I keep forgetting about that Jess and I And our friends Are going to South France No child
Starting point is 00:49:24 is coming on that trip. Yeah, it's in no-child zone. Zuzzo, no, no. Zzo. Zzo. Zzo. It's quite aggressive, isn't it?
Starting point is 00:49:37 So we're going to south of France and then I return from there on the Sunday and then my birthday's the next weekend and I go to Paris that weekend and then the next weekend is the 30th drinks night. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:49:49 So it's a busy three weeks. And then you're done it. And I'm done it. Did you mum get you my work for you better at there or not? Well, she was going on it and I couldn't decide, so it's not, but we might change that at some point. Do you know what I mean? Yeah. Because I just don't have anything that I need or want from anyone.
Starting point is 00:50:06 Yeah. So it's difficult, like, but she would like to get me something that maybe means something. So maybe just something I can keep. But then, what is that? A theatre ticket that doesn't expire ever. No, I know, just unlimited theatre tickets. We went to see Mamma Mia the other night. How was it?
Starting point is 00:50:25 Okay. Oh. You've seen it before? Look, we've seen it before and it's a good night. It's feel good, it's fun. Is it? It's good. Where was that?
Starting point is 00:50:36 In The Kings. However, I love the film a lot. You do. And I've watched it numerous times I could say every single line in the film. Right. Like, you could say it, I could and see it back. Like, I really could. And the show is just never going to be the film because it's not getting Meryl Streep in it for a start.
Starting point is 00:50:54 And it's just not. not, there's only so much you can do on a stage. So I think when you're really engrossed in a film, it's hard for the show. It's the same as Hairsby. I don't really like Hairsby the show. Because it's just no the same. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:06 But I still enjoyed it and I think also when it comes to musicals, I like a musical musical that's like musical geek. Yeah. Because Mamma me is a film made into a show. Right. You know what I mean? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:18 It's just different. Yeah, yeah. But we enjoyed it and I'm glad I went. I mean, I'll always go to theatre, as you know. So, yeah, we did that. but I don't know what my mum could get me. It's difficult. It's difficult one.
Starting point is 00:51:34 We don't need nothing. We don't need for nothing. I don't need a single thing. So, yeah, we are going actually to see Burlesque at the theatre. The night before my birthday. No, two nights before my birthday. And we're going to doong Casanzo before it. Sounds like a pipe.
Starting point is 00:51:50 So, like, my mum will take me out for that and she got me the ticket. That's nice. Which is enough. So, and me saying that about films and saying the show is never as good, The burlesse show was really good. But I'm not as obsessed with burles because I'm in Mamma Mia film. But isn't Balas more about dancing and stuff as well though? Yes, it's more sooty to a stage than what Mamma Mia is.
Starting point is 00:52:09 Like, Miami is beside the sea on a Greek island. So I'd like to go there. It's Milos. It's not Milos. Okay. It's because with S. Yeah, but there's bits of Milos I think. Is there? And a lot of it's not actually in Greece at all.
Starting point is 00:52:25 Is it not? No. I'd like to do more of Greece. though I think, definitely. I feel like I've fucking done so much of it recently. It's like in Thos, Gavallonia. Gavallonia. Gavallonia.
Starting point is 00:52:40 So we, I've got three, but we'll read out, revenge or redemption. And then for Patreon, we'll save holiday drama about some girlies with somebody in a group chat who just cannot make a decision about holiday. And they're all at the whits end. And the other one is subject, my partner. partner's family.
Starting point is 00:53:02 So anyway, revenge or redemption? Hi, girlies. I never thought I'd be writing in here, but here we are. I recently ended my year long, on and off, relationship slash situation ship, whatever you want to call it. This was after finding out he had, in fact, forgotten to mention he was still seeing his ex. Jen's right. My FBI skills were used for this one, lo. I simply told him I knew everything, asked him not to contact me again and blocked him on everything. I was encouraged by friends to contact his ex, which I did.
Starting point is 00:53:33 Okay. Wow. I like it. She didn't seem surprised though and proceeded to tell me that they had been back in contact since September. Wow. Wow. This is kind of in real time. It's like almost a year.
Starting point is 00:53:45 It's been for the majority of your situation. Oh, right. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Everything now makes sense and it seems they are back together. Like properly. I am turning 32 this week and going on my first solo holiday which I feel nervous.
Starting point is 00:53:59 slash excited for any tips welcome please send whilst i feel relieved the situation is over there is part of me that can't help but want to seek some kind of revenge right he has a massive ego and i hate the fact that he gets to just move on with his life after treating me so so poorly and wasting so much of my time some friends have suggested posting him on that are we dating the same guy page okay but is this petty do i just move on with my life and enjoy what's ahead do i need clothes you. I must admit I haven't felt this happy in a long, long, long time. I still have a long way to go,
Starting point is 00:54:35 but the peace I feel not having to deal with someone's crusty, dusty sun is second to none. Any advice, welcome. Look, I feel like the answer's in that. I do as well, actually. You're already feeling happy. Yep.
Starting point is 00:54:51 You've already cut it off. The ex knows that he's been doing both of you dirty, basically. Time to move on. Time to move on. move on. We all love a bit of revenge, but I think your revenge was tell next.
Starting point is 00:55:04 I agree. And also your revenge is you living a happier, better, free life. You're about to go on a holiday. You never know who you might meet. This is your revenge. You don't need this guy in your life. Agree.
Starting point is 00:55:16 Sounds like the new lassie doesn't either, but... No, I know. I also feel like considering you feel really happy already, then why would you waste any more time on this prick? I agree.
Starting point is 00:55:28 That's my opinion, you know, I think leave him in the past. You know, yeah, you could do all those petty things. You could go and put some sardines in his curtain poles. One of the most iconic revenge stories ever. But realistically, is that actually, ask yourself, is that really going to make you feel better or is it going to fill you with a bit more anxiety, a bit more drama?
Starting point is 00:55:49 You're then going to potentially have to hear from him again and the new girlfriend. I know. I know. Who can be asked. Well, you're just staying involved then, aren't you? Yeah. Wait, is we're not involved anymore? Also, he could then,
Starting point is 00:55:59 say like you're being bitter, you're just like a crazy ex. You don't want to that. Leave with your head held high. You did the right thing. Move on. I understand that he's got a big ego, but that prick will get his karma. Yeah, exactly. So don't worry about it.
Starting point is 00:56:13 Karma works in wonderful ways. Absolutely. And any tips for your solo holiday? Oh, that's a good one. Be open to have new conversations, be open to go into restaurants and have a booking, even if it's like a really nice place, go to hotel bars. That's where you meet a lot of people,
Starting point is 00:56:33 lots of sex. I also think in terms of actually if you're wanting to do a bit of sightseeing and all that, what I found really helpful when I was a wee on my own at times was to put everything you want to do. Yeah. Whether it's in a day or over three days or whatever it might be, even in a chat, CHBT, and say,
Starting point is 00:56:54 when and where should I do all this? because there's nothing more annoying than going somewhere, doing something, going to someone else and realising something else you wanted to do was next to the fucking place you were in the first place. Do you know what I mean? Yeah, yeah. So I feel like when you're on your own and you've not got people to bounce off off. Map on your Google Map.
Starting point is 00:57:11 Do all that so that it makes you up a wee plan. Because I think as well it makes you stick to things because it'd be so easy just to wander. Keep yourself busy, make that itinerine, chuck a block it so you... I mean, unless you're going to just lie by a pool for five days, that'd be bliss as well. And also fairfax. Wow, but.
Starting point is 00:57:27 You enjoy it, sis. You're 32. You are literally living the best years of your entire life without someone's crusty, dusty sun. So you enjoy it. And leave him in the past. Don't concern yourself with him any longer. From this moment on, from when you're listening, right now,
Starting point is 00:57:42 we don't speak about it again. And your friends are just being funny and lulls. Like, they just probably want to laugh about it with you, see him on the Facebook page. But realistically, it's not affecting them. It's only going to affect you in the long run. So let's move on, sis. Yeah, it's not your problem anymore.
Starting point is 00:57:56 Bing, bang, bing. Bye See ya And on that note See ya We'll see you in Patreon If you're joining us this week Come over for the drums
Starting point is 00:58:05 For more dilemmas If not we will see you Next Tuesday Bye See you N-T Bye See you N-T Bye
