Happy Friday
Freaky Friday
We're now in November
How many days till Christmas
Ooh, what were that both
Do you want to make sense a Christmas song?
Yeah, go
Maybe a bit too soon
Snow is falling
All around me
Children playing you
Having fun
714, 21
It's the season
21
21 20
So while she's singing
I'm working at how many days it is until Christmas
7 14 20
So I can't count
Can you just Google it?
No
7 14 21
It's 28 days today
From up to our live show
So exactly 4
weeks today and then whatever that is from Christmas because everything else is relevant
so oh plus 20 days so 48 days still Christmas from today wow I cannot wait yeah I love Christmas
so much I don't really I think it's the most boring day of the year a genuinely think
Christmas day is the most boring day of the year as an adult with no children I mean I get
where you're coming from I think you get to a certain time the day and you're like right is that
yeah and also remember i don't see my family either so that's probably why
this bonus episode we're going to talk a little bit about what's been a lot on your plate
and some follow-ups of some other feedback from things we've discussed previously that we'd like to update
you on because we said that last time didn't we we love it when you guys send us follow-ups
from things we've discussed and we can keep all the pub piggys updated yeah so shall we read
out the one from that work dilemma that was a good one yes so i don't know if if everyone
remembers that there was the girl who was loving our work
couldn't have loved it anymore, blah, blah, blah.
And then there was this girl that was
joining her work who she had
a pass with. Yeah. And they didn't
get on anymore. Yeah.
Anyway, we were giving her some advice.
We've had to follow up from her, just saying.
Just want to say thanks for advice in the pod. It really helped.
Also wanted to give you an update. A few
days after a message, an internal vacancy
came up within the company at another site.
Better job and better working hours.
So I went for it, got an interview and found out
yesterday that I got the job.
This might sound cheesy, but I strongly believe things happen for a reason,
and this was meant to work in my favour.
Gorgeous.
She also said, to give you a bit of context on the situation,
as I know it sounds extreme, I'm 34, this person I knew from primary school,
so most of my life, we used to be inseparable as kids.
We went to high school, we were a bigger group of friends,
and that's when things started to change.
I was basically bullied by her and this group of girls for a long time
and only managed to break away from it when I was in my mid-20s.
I was very quiet and had low self-confidence anyway.
got therapy and now a completely different version of myself.
Love that for you.
Love that for you.
And I don't think it's cheesy at all.
I genuinely do think everything happens for a reason.
It's got to.
Absolutely.
So yeah, we're happy for you.
That's amazing.
Better money, better hours, better...
What else was it?
Better position.
Just happiness, Jess, better happiness.
Gorgeous.
Do you want to mean?
Mm-hmm.
We also do have...
Right, we've spoken about Jesse's...
issue
with pricking her finger
That's coming up by the way
I can feel my babies are getting a little bit hard
I think I'm going to come on my period anytime soon
But you'll need to get this place a phone
Get them out
I know
They three I need it
Your blood taking
God's sake
So anyway a lovely listener who has actually managed
To be an adult
And prick their finger
Has Dave given us a follow up
On what actually happens in this process
It's called Hurtility by the way
If you've missed it, it's a hertility
It's an at-home fertility testing kit.
I think it's maybe not a fertility testing,
but it checks all sorts of like hormone imbalances.
I think it can give you an idea of ovulation and things like that.
So anyway, I'm not an expert on it because I've not had my results,
so I don't know, but this lovely lady has sent us one.
So what actually happens is you get a kind of like,
you've got your own wee system in it.
Right.
And it says that...
Is this her results then?
She sent it in?
No, it's like what you can see.
Okay.
So you've got stage one, which is a note from your doctor,
and that is who has reviewed your results
and will confirm any previous diagnosis
and flag any potential new ones.
Then you've got your hormone levels,
which is when they obviously test your hormone levels,
give you the results, pinpointing any causes for,
and balances based on the next research.
Then you've got stage three.
which is your hormones explained,
and that's where it explains the impact of your hormone levels
and what could be potentially causing any imbalances.
Right.
Very detailed.
Then you've got stage four, which is their expert analysis.
They'll outline any conditions your results are indicating
and any action is required.
Step five is understand what you need to do next.
And then step six is your personalised.
insights. Right, okay.
So that's like any nutrition and lifestyle changes that could help
get your hormones all balanced again?
Yep. Right.
So that's actually very...
Interesting.
Insightful, I would say.
Because even if...
Like, it's not really something I think about, right?
But at the same time, I have absolutely no idea
if my hormones are even imbalanced or not.
And also, people would be doing this just for children.
It could be like skin problems.
or it could be mood swings, really bad, like PMS symptoms.
Yeah.
So I think it's for a few things that.
But also we also got a question from a recent pod that we did
when we spoke about that real tonic, clean greens.
And we said that some people in our office took the balanced tonic.
People wanted to know what it was.
It's the real R-H-E-A-L balanced tonic powder.
And it's like a pink one.
I've not tried it and I don't think Zoe has either,
but we have had good things.
Yeah.
I've heard it does really help with it.
Like, you don't even feel that you're on your period,
whereas they really suffered from it before.
Interesting.
This girl's also sent a screenshot,
so it actually does show your ability to conceive
based on your number of eggs,
and it's like a little chart, and it's white's low.
Let's see.
Bages in range, and red's high,
and it gives you a little, like...
What's she then?
In range.
Oh, brilliant. I wonder how old she is.
So it gives you a little, like, what would you call that?
It's like a graph where it's.
from white to red, if that makes sense, yeah.
And then there's like a little arrow pointing on where you are on the scale.
What's she high there? What's that?
Then it also shows you the hormones involved in regulating your menstrual cycle,
and that gives you a low to high as well.
So that's quite good to know.
And then it also gives you thyroid.
I've had my thyroid checked a few times before.
Why can't I say words anymore?
Thyroid.
I need, I've told you this before.
Thyroid health.
again low to high.
thyroid health is really important for people that
may be gaining a lot of weight
because that can be a factor in that
can't it? But that's actually really
insightful like it's very detailed
that's brilliant. She's also said
you can book to get an appointment
with one of the doctors to go through the results
which is probably more helpful as reading it's a bit
kind of like a bit of a mind fuck
so that's actually helpful as well
you can speak to someone and they can explain it a bit better
And I'm pretty certain that the heterility test was,
I remember researching into it,
but it was one that was approved by,
was it even Bupa or it might have been NHS,
but it was one that they actually do use.
Yeah.
Things like that.
So it is legit.
Love that.
Yeah.
Well, if anyone was thinking about it,
then I feel like that's a good...
Yeah.
It seems good.
Mm, definitely.
I need to do it.
I need to do it.
I mean, I paid for it,
so I'm not going to waste that money.
Do you know what I mean?
And I also want to do it, so...
Yeah.
We also really need to tell a lovely, lovely, lovely, lovely, lovely, lovely story.
Oh, we do.
Which is just, I just can't go over it.
I think about it often since last week.
And obviously, we launched our live.
Sold the first night and then we put the second night live, which...
And that's all quicker.
That's sold even quicker.
So if you got a ticket, we can't wait to see you.
I know there's people that want to swap round day,
so maybe there's people out there that might want a swappy swap.
Yeah, maybe if you do and you want to...
The only way that's going to work is if you message us
and you kind of like...
You'd probably do that nearest the time.
I'd line that but
see if it's just for preference going to know
because that'll be quite a lot of logistics for us.
Yeah.
Anyway, we had shared on our story
a girl who had shared
that she didn't manage to get tickets
and she was disappointed.
We had shared that saying
like we sold out so quickly again
thank you all blah blah blah.
Then another pod pink
replied to our share of this
woman is everyone with us right she replied saying I know who this is she delivered my baby
she's a midwife yeah years back as well I think it was I think it was in 2019 we love that
so it was at least three years ago I've got a spare ticket yeah because she managed to get two
but got no one to go with her and the other girl didn't get one at all yeah so then we were like
she was like I should say to her we were like oh my god this is so nice please do that all
happened and now they're coming together and the messages they shared the messages between them
each other and they're like so buzzing and i just think like they don't yeah they've met because
obviously one sealed it pulled a baby out vagina but they're not they're close they're close in some ways
but so not in another do you what i mean they're not like close friends then and i just thought
the podpigs are coming together yeah and like we said before we're going to make sure that any
single ticket holders if there is any because we don't know there's many to be fair but there's a couple
message saying
they could only get one
so they're going on their own
or maybe there's people
that haven't told us yet
to be fair
but if you have come on your own
don't stress
we've got you sorted
well we're there anyway
were you mate so
sound
come with us
I know exactly
so I've got a couple
little updates of some little products
see before you did
that can I ask you
a really really important question
I thought the thing you were going to ask me
was the fact that you just
fucking shut me up with a fake spider
behind me and she's been trying
to plant it here the whole time
so we can catch it on camera
and be shitting myself
myself with a little plastic spider.
But it happened before we were recording, so I can only apologise
and he didn't get to enjoy Jesse's scare.
And I can confirm that I did shit myself.
Yeah, I should.
This is a really important question,
so you need to think about it deeply.
Have you ever managed to leave a McDonald's drive-thru
without taking a chip out of the bag?
Never.
Neither of that.
Never?
And you know people are like, oh, we'll eat it at home.
Widow?
No, but even nibbling at the chips on the way home,
like, is anyone able to not do that?
I was also like that with a Chinese takeaway as well.
I'd always get in that white paper bag.
No, a Chinese or anything's always tied.
I would never open that.
I would rip it?
No, never.
At McDonald's, I was thinking about the other day when I was there.
Matt, I have no control over my arm.
I lose the ability to control that arm.
And as much as my head, I'm saying,
don't open the bag, it will let the heat out,
just wait to your home, you'll actually live around the fucking corner.
It's in there getting a chip.
Surprise there's no more accidents coming out of the drive-through.
Yeah.
No, I'll actually.
and then I'm like, oh, like,
because fucking steering meals are they over there?
It's because they're nice and boiling hot
and there's nothing better than a McDonald's
roasting hot chip or nugget.
Nothing, and I just was really thinking,
I wondered if anyone has the ability to do that.
Because see if you do,
you deserve to be called a sir.
I love McDonald's.
And you know what's annoying?
I never used to like it that much
and I really like it now.
I've always liked McDonald's.
I just think you can't beat it.
I used to think it tastes like shit,
but I do think they're really up there
game. Oh no, I never used to think it tastes like shit, that's wrong. I just think if you get
a really hot, crispy one, there's nothing better. I think the problem is you're right. You can
get bad ones. Yeah. You can get like the chips that a bit cold, especially if you ever get a delivery
whatever, which I do try avoid, but sometimes there's just no other option. If I'm in my bed and
I've got my jammies on, it's getting delivered. So you actually live 100 yards from
McDonald's. If I'm in my pajamas, I'm not going out to my car. Cozy's always an
She's in the house.
This is my new name for Zoe, by the way,
cozy Zowie.
Everything she does is cozy.
I went into a flat earlier and it's just cozy.
It smells of washing.
It's boiling hot.
She wants to make scones.
She's got all of pumpkins out.
I was Patsy Zoh at the weekend.
Patty Zohy is back in the closet.
No, she's not.
Party Zohy isn't coming out until 2024.
But Jason and Zoe are cozy couple.
We are cozy.
Cozy is our thing.
like sitting down at night
a cup of tea
a wee plate of biscuits
and we like sit them out
like we actually lay them out
on like a wee
I've got a pumpkin bowl right now
so like maybe I'll
maybe I'll do sit on that actually
and then we bring like
the covers in sometimes
and the candles on and all that
like that's just a thing for us
I think that's very important
I walked in there earlier
and Jason just creep around the corner
he just popped his little leg out of the door
and he had his new fluffy socks on
he was so brilliant
he bought in Amsterdam by the way
I don't think we mentioned that
He has absolutely no shame
We walked around to Amsterdam with a paper bag
That has cozy socks on
It's the Amsterdam on them
And they've got pom-poms hanging from them
He loves it
Anyway sorry
Tell us about your beauty bits
I just attach to that very important question
That was an important question
Now I want to know what's
So my birthday, Prezzi
Final one, fuck me
The girl's got me
Some of my favourite wine glasses
Riedel wine glasses
I think they're actually German
You know
I'm going to check that for you
But you know how I'm all big on
thin rim, thin stem.
And they are exactly that.
I don't even know how you managed to get them, to be honest with you.
Because I'm magic.
I've got the magic touch.
I get the minus touch.
Yeah, sorry.
Sorry for that.
So yeah, a message Zoe and the girl saying that I really love Redoubt,
reedal, wine glasses or Zalto.
I think anyone listens to this podcast.
That's probably worked in like, I don't know,
food and beverage or you've been like waitresses
and a fine dining restaurant or a Michelin restaurant
you'll probably know be aware of these but they're so so good
I also had one when I was in Lisbon with Richard at a restaurant
that was so fine like hand-blown glass
and the markings on the base of that said G-L-A-S
and it was like a Californian one and I love that
I've never seen that since but read Redau was the one that we spoke about
when we went to Casamaca
and so he put a picture on the story the other day of that glass
wineglass against my head.
You've probably seen it and it was the size of my head.
Well, it's them.
She's got me four of them.
Also, by the way,
can I just say thank you so much
for everyone all those lovely messages
you were about my birthday?
I was nearly roaring in Amsterdam, wasn't I?
Well, I put whilst we were out party
and I thought,
fucking hell, I've not posted on the pod page
about Jess's birthday.
Because I was so up to hide over the surprise situation,
I was trying to raise you from my memory
for about six months.
And I posted and I thought,
I'm going to ask what people like about Jess
and, well, they were touching.
Tell you that.
It was fucking hundreds.
Your eyes were actually watering when you're reading them.
That was well nice.
Love that for me.
It was, I was going to say it was a Friday night,
so maybe people were drunk, but it was actually a Thursday, so...
Wow.
People actually do love you.
I know.
Well, I love you too.
And they love you too, Zos.
So the products that I got that she also bought me,
one of the girls, was two new VIV products.
And wow, can I just say the Nova Glow Liquid Light.
I hadn't actually heard of this, but Zoe...
I can't believe.
you hadn't heard of that it's everywhere just now it's new sorry i hadn't i'm a bit out
and it's right up your street in terms of beauty product and i used it today for the podcast and i
you normally use iconic you know i'm an iconic liquid lover and this is called holy chic and the
colour was great it's great actually yeah actually does look really golly thank you stunning and it's like
i say iconic is more whitey shimmery but this was more golden and blended beautifully
party season and all that and then she got me a lip dew glossy lip oil in pest
Pesca is my favourite blush colour from Veeve
but she got with the lip dew
I didn't even know they did that in an oil
I thought they only did that one colour
Oh
No there's not
There's a goldy one that I've got before
Yeah that's what I thought that was the only one we did do
Oh no there's a this is Pesca
That's like quite peachy
It was actually really lovely when you put it on
I love that
And then the last final thing for me actually
Is update on a Phil Mitchell's
I've got my natural biab on
And I'm growing them from the scratch
they look pretty good don't they
they're getting there
I can be a wee French
yeah so I will show you a picture
when I get them done again because they're a few days old now
but when I get them redone
I'll share it on the page because I might be confident enough to do that
and let the films out in full force
you might be like an ill-pack gowner
nah my thumbs are just not it
they're too fat my hands are just not it
what I've not good hands
and my last recommendation
and this is all you're getting from me
and I posted this on my close friends
yesterday but and I was
because I was going to gatekeep it to be fair but I'm not going to
gatekeep from the pub pigs
is you need to buy
Lenore Outdorable
Fabric softener
in Northern Solis
Saltis
Northern Solis is that how you'd say that
Saltase
Salstase
let's just say it's solace I don't know how to
Solstice. Solstice what does that
mean like icy
No it's like the summer solstice or the winter
solstice that's been halfway point
of the year. Oh wow.
That's exactly what it smells like?
The northern solstice.
La Nore Outdorable
Northern Solstice.
Can I just say? You've just said that birthday.
You didn't age 15 years that we're recommending
fabric softener. I know, I can't believe you've got
to this point, honestly. No, but gee,
I'm really big into my fragrances, okay?
And this, there's nothing better than smelling nice washing
when you put it on your body and it's like, oh.
Are you a spring awakening?
Spring Awakening is beautiful
and that is also a fan favourite of mine
And I do like the other one you posted
The Lenore
Fresh Bowls
Yeah but what do you call
Unstoppables
Unstopables
That fragrance is really nice
But
It's 8 pound of fucking jar
No I know and also
It is quite strong
And I want you to smell my perfume
Not my washing
I'm quite strong about that
But what I said in my story was
A cap of Lenoir Outdorable
With a wee bit of the balls
of the unstoppable
and it smells
outrageous
honestly I can't stop
I can't stop smelling my towels
honestly
I just love it
when you get something
that's really good
and also everyone was bang on
about that fabric software
for Marks and Spencers
and it smelled like La Labo
does it bollocks
don't get sucked into buying
that fabric software from M&S
it's actually shit
I just wouldn't buy that
it's so weak
I like in fact
Jason I actually told Jess
earlier what we're doing tonight
and this is our
this is her actual, like, a written down plan for her Tuesday night
is walking around to B&M and getting her worst.
And I sent, I sent Jason a screenshot of like,
you need to buy this if you can find it in B&M,
and he's like, oh yeah, we'll do it, actually.
I've just got one last thing to say.
Fuck what?
I need to know if anyone else watched that Mamma Mia thing.
What a mammaier thing?
The talent show.
What's that?
There's a talent show on ITV.
And it's seven girls and seven guys
are a way out to Greece
and they're competing to be the next
Sophie and Sky
Sophie and Sky from Mamma Mia
in the West End musical right?
Oh! So they're competing to become...
Did you ever watch that show
and it was to get the Joseph
for Joseph in the colour dream quote
and it was like years ago
and it was Andrew Lloyd Weber
you know who that is?
Of course I do.
Fuck me, sorry.
But it was his show
and they all like addition to be
like Joseph and they also did
a woman one
I can't mind to what that character was for in a music
anyway, I watched that and my mum and I enjoyed it right
anyway so this was coming on
and I was like
and he watched that
anyway it was on Sunday at 6pm and I watched it
was great was it
it like each week they be like X factor
yeah each week
like a guy and a girl will get put out
and it's it about what chemistry
they've got together as well then couples or do they rotate
Well, I think it's they rotate
But it's a bit of everything
It's like they need to obviously have the voice
They need to be able to dance a bit
And need to be able to act
But they do kind of judge
How they obviously look at each other
And like if you can see chemistry there
But the judges are actually quite good people
So it's someone, I can't even remember her name actually
But she was on the Andrew Lloyd Weber one
Right
So she's went through this whole process basically
And it is in the West End now
It's what's her face from Glee
You know the really good singer
and then she was in Dreamgirls.
Amber Riley.
Yeah, that's her name.
And then Alan Carr.
And then I don't know who the other lassie is.
Alan Carr, I love him.
I know, and then she's some pop singer or something this other girl.
And then the host is Zoe Ball.
Oh, yeah, I like her as well.
So it's actually...
That's actually quite good then.
Yeah, I thought it was going to be a wee, like, shite thing
that no one really watched,
but it was actually like close to X Factor level
and I think everyone should watch.
Is it on our TV?
I TV on a Sunday at 6pm
I'll catch up with that then
So I'd like to know if anyone
watched it and if anyone did
do they think I'd be a good Sophie
because I do
I think you'd be out on round one
I wouldn't have got to the last seven
Go on Zoe, give us nothing
They'd be like
Sorry are you speaking because we can't hear you
Hello is anybody there
We always say in our group chat
That Zoe's like the girl from pitch bear
But you know the one that goes
Suboo-Boo-Boo-Boo-Boo-Boo-Boo-Boo-Boo-Boo- And
you actually couldn't be more wrong
I'm the life and soul
this group sometimes
You are darling
Did you still watch Big Brother?
No, I fell away from that as well
So we're not going to be speaking about that anymore
I can commit to things that are on every single night
Like see if you can sit down at 9pm
and watch stuff every night
You need a life, I'm sorry
Sorry you watch Love Island you don't know
Not every night
Yeah she fucking did
She's chatting shit
So yeah
We fell off Big Brother
But I've heard it's good now
So we probably should have
I can't be asked to catch upon it now
Can't be I should miss too much
No
And you watch the Becker
documentary, you loved that.
Well, good, and we watched the...
Colleen Rooney!
Clean one.
That was brilliant.
Wagatha Christie.
Yeah.
Wag was.
Wag was.
That was brilliant.
Brilliant, but see when you think about it.
How fucking pathetic, honestly.
How could you be asked?
It went too far, didn't it?
So she had to go through it.
We're going to court on someone's paying, like,
someone had to pay another one millions and millions of pounds,
like for a wee Instagram, like, mess up.
Oh, stupid.
Anyway, let's go.
Right, we'll have a lot.
and we'll see you on Tuesday.
See you on Tuesday.
Bye.
