Yeah, I don't remember shit about him. Oh, is he the one? Okay, he's the one that they're doing the funeral rights for me. I'm right. It's not a Gentipal. That is, uh, it's one of the other, it's one of the other motherfuckers. We go to a bunch of two.

There's like four tombs we'll talk about it, Paul. It's, yeah. Yeah, some, some sorry shit. But yes, this week, the gang heads to Corabon to find the last piece of the star maps. They can stop Malik's plan and rescue Bastila in order to do that. Reverend is going to have to go back to school. And for this, you can freely imagine a Star Wars version of the Rodney Dangerfield

classic or old school, if that is more your thing, or even Larry Crown for some reason. Either way, the gang ends up enrolling at the Sith Academy of Corribon and getting a course of intense study on the Force, as told, by the Sith. They also have to fight through a lot of dungeons. you're going to be going down a lot of tomb hallways fighting a lot of shit so well

I feel like for me Corban's really interesting and then it's like go out and do the quests and I was like Corbond sucks it falls off so hard I still think it's my favorite of the planets but I don't think you're wrong just the process

has more going on Manon I would go back to Manon and a heartbeat and be like excuse me Fishmanman Man, I'm this man's advocate. Okay, I'll catch you underwater then. You have fun with your diving suit. I would do four more tunes before I do the diving suit for one more minutes.

Right. Yeah, I feel like having like these little separate spaces each with their own vibes is so much better than like, let's spend 30 minutes in a dungeon this entire time. I had fun. It was nice. It was, you know, there's some droids. There's some monsters. There are. They're both.

I like that job. You laugh. You cry. there was a lot on this fucking planet this is the dentist yeah real quick we have some stuff to talk about before I even went there I was like I got to finish the Gino Gino Harrodden

Oh yeah Quest and like help that odd little Rodeon dude you know kill those kill those evildoers How'd that work out for you? Not well Austin So look is it reminds people with the Gina Haradinar for for so yeah basically you meet a dude you meet look tilly hates Rhodians and this hasn't gone away this is actually intense right like she now like she can the second she hears little rodean speak she loses her shit yeah

but she's on to something she's she's she's like don't trust that man you can't trust you can't trust that little man like if you got a cute little rodean who needs help that's fine but when you got like a little bit of a sly operator rodean that that tends not be good news for you yeah but he was like hey let me tell you about basically he's like let me tell you about the league of shadows and star wars racial ghoul yeah and you know we're people who guided the galaxy from behind the scenes using assassinations to make sure of it uh stability and a reasonable on a piece or achieved you know we're really on the same side as you and there's gear and if you do some missions, you'll get special gear, and you'll maybe be allowed to join the

Gina Haradden. And I was like, yeah, I've heard enough. All right, I'll go do that. So you go back to a number of planets and kill people who are legitimately just douchebags. Like, they, they suck. I think the real low life of the bunch, this dude Roulon is on Kashik, and he's a shapeshifter who's like, yeah, he's just like murking people pretending to be their friend. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I forgot about this yeah what that guy sucks he just hangs out in the shadowlands and is like we'll pretend to be someone you know and then kill you and he's like i'm a badass did not catch this in my in my place in my watch throughs i have no who knows when a walkthrough would have taken on this quest because you can do it with different junctures but he becomes he's the one

who becomes the little monkeys right yeah you had to go running around kicking tax You know the little monkey guys on Kashik? Yeah. This guy, when you confront him, he's like, woo-hoo! And it turns into a little monkey and runs around, and you got to, like, kick a bunch of these little guys. You're telling me, I missed out on a little freak? He's just a guy at the end of the day, and that's the problem. Oh, so he's impersonating little frees.

Yeah, he's a shapeshifter. He's a type of shapeshifter, is a thing that he is. And then eventually he becomes... Is that a species, or is that an ability? I think that's a type. It's a species. It's a species. The changeling is like the one who was sent after to kill Padmae in episode 2.

Oh, my God. Yeah, remember Palpatine sent Django Fet who sent a shapeshifter, who sent a droid, who sent some worms or whatever. Oh, my God. That's like, who you have to like have clauses about subcontractors. Yeah. A hundred percent. Yeah. So you kill these guys.

These guys all suck. And Gina Hardin are like, we protect. the world by killing by doing assassinations and yeah we're shady but like the republic would fall apart without us and like we actually don't like the sith and so you can join us if you do these five kills for us what do you say buddy uh and you did them i did them and you go back to manon and you talk to the dude and he's like uh-huh hoo he he uh you killed all the other overseers of the geno herod and they we all keep we all hide from each other but somehow i found out where they were so that I can take over the entire organization. And you, poor stupid Dup's

Polo fell right into my traps. And like, Dup's Polo isn't stupid. He has a persuade of 22 at this point. And he was like, now I'm going to disappear. I couldn't possibly invite you into the Gino Harad. And even though he gave me a bunch of guns and shet, there were like one of them, which was pretty good. Yeah. So that stuff is good. Yeah. The first tier weapons is not good. But like then that less tier weapons is yeah i think i have candors using one of those swords still in his offhand because it's just like pretty good enough for that you know yep uh so you can just leave it at that or you can be like no one plays dup's polo for a fool maybe that maybe that dialogue option is only available to me because i'm dup's polo oh yeah but anyway he's like well you got a problem with it could you

were you able to be like i'm revin to this guy yeah what would he say about that because when I did all that quest, it was pre-Revin reveal. He's not impressed. Oh. Really? It's an underwhelming reaction. I barely remember it.

It was just like, yeah, he's, he's like, I can't remember if he knew who believes you. No, he did. He did because he actually, the next time you see him, he's like, so, I heard about what happened aboard the Leviathan. Pretty crazy. I had no idea.

Mad people heard about this. Because when you get to Corbyn, that one dude is like, oh, yeah. That one dude's like, how long did it take you to figure out who the fuck you were? Because I like paid one guy and found out within like an hour. What do you think people don't talk?

Yeah, people talk. Malik can't shut people up. It was wild. It floored me. At the highest tier of the Sith, it's like, when will I betray my master? At the lowest tier, it's like, I've got some hot gosh.

I can't tell you about it, though. Can't tell you about it. But let me tell you if you knew. If you knew, oh, man. Man. You know what? Like, mind blown. Low tier, Sith is the place to be.

Low tier, no ambition. I'm not trying to get killed by, I don't have any reports. You know what I mean? I don't want no one. I don't want to be in the org chart and no one under me. I want to be some sort of like Sith specialist. Or maybe I get to the middle of the org, but no one reports up. I want to be a janitor.

I don't. I'm saying, but you could be like, instead of being like janitor, you could be like in charge of one specific super weird type of janitorial. services like only you do like organizing pens or like you know colto clean up like oh yeah i'm just the cultal cleanup guy they call me whenever the coltto gets spilled i get it all back i don't need anybody to help me i do it by myself i get some droids maybe but that's it no one's gonna like gun for me right right i guess those architects had it all right which architects but the ones like when you go out into the land and they're just like chilling oh yeah oh yeah let's do that

we can't go in there only students could go in there oh the archaeology They're archaeologists. I was like, who's building buildings on Corolla? Where did I miss? Yes, yes, yes. But, like, I kind of don't think that I would want to be a Sith, and then the entire time have everybody think that I'm not shit. No, I don't care.

Y'all can think whatever you want. Well, then you wouldn't pass the test. You would get killed. No, I would get in. You guys would do something evil every once in a while. You know how, like, cops have, like, cop forums and cop bars that they go to. and there's an entire little world of like, we don't suck, the world sucks.

Yeah. And that's why like police1.com, I think exists, which is like you have to be, you have to verify your, you're a Leo to get access there. And then you can post like little memes about like, well, people would stop resisting.

And then you can all hang out with each other all the time and be like, we're pretty awesome though, right? Like people just hate us because like we're so cool. Yeah. That is the energy this whole fucking planet gives. Yeah. That's, or at least,

actually I think that's the Sith on Menai. even more hanging at the whole you're totally right in their little Sith bar yeah uh just like that that is the whole thing where where it's like nobody can touch us these guys have like a PhD student giving like master students and undergrads a bunch of shit energy comparatively yeah you know it's valuable you know what I mean it's not like they're they're not all the way to Sith Lord yet they're not their bosses yet they don't have their degrees yet but they're all like gaming on each other trying to figure out how to one up each other and then shit shitting on anyone who's trying to get into the program.

Sorry, we came off the Gina Hardin thing. Yeah. Because this guy knows him so are. Yeah. So eventually he's like, well, I was hoping you'd just be smart enough to walk away. But if you must, if we have to have this out, come meet me alone in the Dune Sea. But remember, come alone. And you don't have the option actually of bringing back up.

Like when you get the tattooing, nobody, like, when I stepped off the Eben Hawk, I did not get the party select screen. Oh, I did. I brought people I brought people And he was like I see you knew That I was gonna be a scumb bag I didn't get the option

I like But you know what this was weird Everyone reassumed their positions From the scene after Everyone talks about You being Revin Everyone's back at the Like standing in big circle

Oh that's weird And so I wonder if it's because Tattoine is where you end up After fleeing the Leviathan Huh And going back there Cause like a weird Like null state

With the party Either way I met the guy We're going to talk about some bugs today, so I would not be surprised. So you meet this guy. So you, yeah, he brings an army. Yeah. Did you beat him?

Oh, yeah. Let's go, Dubs. Like, no backup. No backup needed it at this point. Like, force wave, stasis, and then, like, one thermal detonator, judiciously placed on a bunch of dudes who were stunned. Like, moved through it pretty fast. Then, like, once you kill the first couple guys, it's just a matter of, like, stunning, stunning, and then moving the next person, killing him. Oh, and also.

Also, they're all using blasters. No blaster shots are getting through at this point in the game. Like, if you got a party full of Jedi, nobody with a ranged weapon can hit you. As a bunch of battle droids, we're going to find out in a minute. Because I didn't have time to do the smart solution to that quest. Anyway, so you kill... Yeah, we'll get there. Yeah.

So you kill... You kill little... Hulus. Who loss? Yeah. Something like that. And there's some decent gear there. There's a pile of money that you pick off those folk, pick up off those folks.

But at this point, like, you know, so you get a lot of dark side points killing all those people. And then you don't get any point, light side points for, I think, ridding the galaxy of the Geno Herodon. That's wild. Yeah. Because, like, at this point, they're messed up, right? You killed, you killed all the, you killed all the capos. Yeah. You should get some light side points for that.

I agree. though at this point I'm pretty committed to my dark side play and would you know you know pound for pound I guess I'm glad I didn't get any light side points for that at this point because I'm like trying to race to the bottom which Corabon helps a lot because there's a lot of Corbyon there's yeah there's a lot so much evil shit you can do you so much evil shit in Corbin and it's easier than anywhere else because everyone here sucks so bad that it's way easier to kick these specific dogs you know like it's still kind of goofy like I'm twirling my mustache I'm evil decisions to do but most of them

suck or are at school for sucking and they're like I can't wait to suck so bad and it's like all right I don't feel that bad about screwing these people over there's a couple of bad choices that I did that I feel bad about but uh I also say I still like I was taking my friends around various docking bays all around the galaxy and nothing happened nothing's triggering have Really? Carth ain't giving me shit. He's like, we're done. Wait, so you didn't get dustal.

No. That's a big miss. Not on your part, on the game's part. I'm curious, did you get Jahani's at some point? And because that's the bug. The bug that people talk about is if Jahani's triggers, no one else will trigger at that point. So, no. Did you get the guy who was like, there's a Seth store.

Come to the Sith store I have a dude who was like Go to the special shop on Corabon Yeah yeah yeah yeah Because you're the like yeah the black market store effectively She does have a lot of shit Okay That is weird because that's like the thing that you're supposed to complete

Before doing Jahani's Yeah Because Jihannis will fuck that one up And then like do Everybody else's question is like a Domino's behind that. But I also had, I spent a lot of time last night trying to trigger the second half of Johani's quest. I didn't, I'm, I think I'm making a mistake in Cotar, but I, I spoke to

Johani and was like, hey, how do you feel about me being Revin? She's like, oh, well, I'm just glad you're good now. And I was like, ooh, maybe I could get with Jihadi. You could. I think you could. I don't know. The mistake is that you don't want to do that actually. No, it's very Finicky, apparently, and I think that I might have given her, like, a, yeah, I'm afraid that I might have chosen one of the dark side options in, like, one of my first conversations with her, and that marks her romance thing to zero, straight out, and then that's it. She was darksided as hell. She couldn't let, like, you have one slip up. I know. The thing is, she's not that dark-sided, because she can wear...

She thought she was dark-sighted. We thought she was dark-sided. That sort of this. We thought she was dark-sided. I just mean she should be a little more forgiving. Right, exactly. You're like, you're so dark-sighted. You lost your shit on your master. Look how dark-sided you are. You can meet a guy who knew.

Did you all meet the guy who knew her from back then? Oh, yeah, yeah. On Corvon. Dak, Dak Prescott from the Cowboys. He used to date Johnny, actually, no. Can't find the end zone, but he did find the friend zone. I mean, that is the story of this guy, Dak, that you can meet at the Sith spot,

is that he also has. had some issues with the Jedi around the same time that Johani did and also was trying to was trying to make a move on Johani and when she shot him down he went dark side he was like I don't need the Jedi anyway actually that's all it takes wow and then he went and joined up anyway he's dead now in my game so jihanna's like don't stop trying to start a fight with him he's he doesn't know any better or whatever and I was like yeah okay johani please leave my party for a second I need these dark side points I'm gonna start a bar fight with this bro Can I speak to him alone?

That literally is what happened. Yeah, Johani, I'll be right back to the ship. You just head back first. You just head back. Don't worry about it. Also, could you set HK out here? Why? Because Sith stuff, some Sith read, some droid stuff.

I just had some droid questions for him. He just had, tell him to bring that thing also. Tell him to keep that thing on him. I need it out here because the Sith are dangerous. But to Rob's point, the other half of this that's so funny about coming to Korobahn this late in the game is like, you stroll back in and you are like, and we're getting ahead of myself a little bit, but you have so many options to be like, oh, I'm Revin, by the way. And everyone's like, nobody gave a shit.

No one cares and no one believes you. And then it's fight time and you are so overpowered. Like the Hula's fight is nothing. Nothing on Corvon is fucking anything. No one can touch you. Your crew is like too tough. You do not. No one stands a chance.

It's a little much. I capped out on Corvon. bomb. My character will not level up again. Wow. And I'm fucked up my last, my last stat point. I didn't realize it was my 20th level and that was the last one. And I put it in some shit that's like, it's just wasted. It's fine. It doesn't matter. No. So I didn't realize because I was like, I want, if I had the do over with this game. Yeah. And that's never going to happen because I don't like this game that much. But if I had it to do over again, I would make getting implant levels.

Yeah, dude. priority for everybody. It's like, hey, you can, like, you can let these things come naturally to you, or we can just all get implants in our brain. Yeah, doc. And be legends. Slot the shit in your brain. The walkthrough that I'm, that I'm watching is, is an implant heavy build for everyone.

And it is, like, any time, it's like, oh, do I need to, like, computer solve today? I'll just put the computer button inside my head. Don't put a point in any weapon skills for at least one character. because you put the, you can use every weapon chip in their brain and now they're fine. I had this moment where I was like, I want to put, I got an implant that was like plus lightsaber focus feats. And I was like, damn, I wish I put this in Canderus that he could just rock a lightsaber.

And then I was like, what if I used cheats to give Canderus the lightsaber shit? I almost did. I haven't yet, but I might. I kind of think it would be dope. Right. Oh, we'll talk about cheats because I stumbled into the fact that the switch version has a cheat menu when we get this. I'll wait. Let's wait until we get there because I have to tell the story.

Could we just talk about it right now? Because this is like going into the rest of the game, if you really want that implants, going into the final battle. Okay, fine. Three taps on the left. The thing is, there is a context here that I think is important, which really discovered it because I lost like 40 minutes of gameplay. Well, I also saw somebody just tweeted. at us this week, and I was like, wait, what? Yeah, I didn't see that. That's good to know.

But, yeah, Rob, if you want those implants, one of the cheats that you can do is add any skill or something like that. At any feet, at any power, add any. You know, Xbox? I don't know if it's on Xbox. It might only be on the switch on copy. I don't know. Let's see.

I would be surprised if it wasn't. Just do a search for Cheatbot 9,000, because that's the name of the little robot that it summons. What? Yeah. All right. So here's what happens. Eventually on, eventually on Corabon, you get to the Valley of the Sith and there's these four big tombs. And one of them is the main plot tomb that you can only get into after you've like made the head of your PhD program, the dean of the Sith. Like you would enough like thumbs up points. You get enough gold stars from him. And he's like, I've chosen you to be the next, my next guy. Come on with me along with my apprentice who you might be working with to fuck me over. We'll see. and then in there there's like the main plot thing which is the star map is hidden deep inside and there's like a little side thing one and there's a little side thing two and a little side thing too is i walked in there and started laughing as it's like oh the tower of hanoy is here

it's a bioer game it's time to move some fucking discs around some poles this classic every biower game is going to get you with this or going to get you with one of these other like classic puzzle type situations right um and i'm like all right time to do it walk over to the the little, like ancient StarMap console type situation, or I guess the ancient Sith console, and it's like, all right, do you want to check the status of the different poles? Do you want to reread how this puzzle works? Or do you want to like turn off the machine, turn off the console? And it's like, what I want to do is move the discs around. And it's like, oh, that's not an option. That's not an option in the computer screen. And I was like, well,

that's weird. And so I googled it and hit a Reddit post from like five years ago or whenever these games shipped on the switch. And it was like, hey, I'm stuck here. I'm stuck here. was like, the years were counting. Do you know what I mean? It was one of those things. It was like, oh my God, four years of people saying they were stuck in this room. The door locks behind you. You can't get out. It locks behind you and in front of you. There was no way in or out. And so finally, I just went, or somewhere in the thread, someone and then posted like, oh, yeah, this is known. Here's, you know, what Aspire, the company that did the port, has to say about it. And you click through it and it says, stuck on Naga Saddam.

pillar puzzle? Kotor Switch, and Aspire Daniel says, two years ago, we've received reports of Kotor players getting stuck in Nagas Adow's tomb when attempted to complete the pillar puzzle. Our team is currently investigating the issue. However, two years ago. However, in the meantime, we recommend avoiding the pillar puzzle room to bypass this issue, as it's not necessary to complete the quest. If you're stuck in this room, the only known workaround is to load the most recent save or auto save outside of the pillar puzzle room. If you don't want to miss out on the loot, this tomb, you can utilize the in-game cheat menu to get this weapon. To do so, follow these steps. Steps. One, click the left joystick in three times. Two, scroll down as like create

item. Three, for the weapon type, select Longsword. Then select G underscore W underscore Longsword 03. Not necessarily. Poison Blade should now be in your inventory. And it's like, y'all knew about this for years and you didn't have a fix for it. And your cheat menu didn't have like no clip in it. So I could just walk through the wall or teleport me back to the beginning of this stage or like load me into a stage somewhere. So I had to like reload from the way that the auto save worked out was you get the auto save. The last auto save I had was like before the last big tomb I left, but before going back in to the like central academy hub where you turn in stuff and I had to like finish up a bunch of side stuff. So I lost a ton of

progress and had to redo that. Anyway, tap that left joystick in three times and you get some like straight up regular cheats, and then also a cheat that is like, summon cheat bot 9,000, which is summons a protocol droid who has some additional cheats available. Like D-Bot stuff. A protocol droid appears to you in game? Literally appears to you. And when you talk to Cheapot-Bot-9,000, the final option on the conversation is like, destroy yourself in five seconds.

So, yeah. So you can't summon them again? Yeah, you can always, yeah, you can always resummit a cheat bot for life. Yeah, I was wishing there was like an immunity cheat. Yeah, no. There was like an automobile cheat. There's no like, you know, auto kill the guy who I'm talking to. None of that shit exists.

There's like, give yourself a bunch of experience. Yes. Create weapons and items and whatever you want. And that's really it. Oh, there's, oh, there's triple speed. That, which is actually kind of used to. Yeah, turbo mode is actually kind of, it's actually kind of. So.

Yeah. I wish there was a respec. That would also be great. I would love... I'm surprised it doesn't have a respect. I mean, this game just needs to have a fucking respect. Giving my fucking implants. So...

Rob, you are muted to us. Yeah, no, because the dog was barking. But I was just saying, like, I want my fucking implants. I know. I know. You should use this. If I know, if I'd known this shit was on sale, I would have saved my, my feats. I was like, I might need this weapon.

No, Dups, you won't need this weapon. You don't need any of this shit. Yeah. You're going to be killing people with your mind here in a minute. We have no plans right now to play Cotor 2 in the immediate near future. I would love to revisit it after Natalie. Your wrist stuff is on the other side of that and things look good because I would love for you to actually be able to finish like playing along with us. That would be good.

But before we get to that game, we should do like a big, whatever that is, not no promises, right? But if any of us are even going to play it by ourselves, we should do a little, you know, group connect on like what are the mechanical difference between these two games yes what is good and what is bad like charisma is just good in that game skills are just good in that game in a way that they're not in kotor one um and so like we should compare notes before anybody dives into that that's what i would say yeah and decide on some some pathways yeah so that no one gets caught with with the the power arc that dubs had to go through yeah again glad they're a good place At this point, one of the strategy games I played was like, now stealth through this area

because you don't want to fight the two torrent attacks. And I was like, no, I got these. Yeah. Who cares? Yeah, no, I'm fine. Oh, they're force immune? No, they're not. Yeah.

The force works in many ways. One of them is this big sword I have. Yeah. I read past them. Damn. The problem is I also gave mission my nice stealth field generator. I also forgot the button to trigger the stealth mode. Yeah.

So I was just like a cast. I was like, I'm standing here. I have no idea how to make dups go into stealth mode. I had to, yeah, let's start up with the beginning. Because I just, that reminded me, I only brought mission out to, like, unlock tombs and stuff. Yeah. And the idea of being like, hey, 14-year-old child, come into the Sith tomb because you're the only person who could open this up for me. You can, but they're all kids.

Like, you're like Peter Pan, like, discovering all the kids who are learning pirates. Like, it's all, it's all kids. Also, you don't need mission for those. You can just hit down on the D-pad and select bash and open those up with your lightsaber. You don't need mission for anything. I wish the UI was better in this game. I didn't know that.

I don't know your bash stuff. You just bash stuff. And nothing breaks. It might in Cotor 2, but in Cotor 1, you can bash anything. Anything that's lock pickable is bashable. It's just a matter of time. I don't know why they did that. no we're learning a lot today

we haven't even really gotten into it yet so you get to Corabon and for one thing there's an Irish maintenance tech on the landing pad who teaches you all he's like ah the Evan Hawk I see I'm like cool

like are you are we trying a little thing here we got one of the voice actors like putting a little twist a little spin on it yeah yeah does never comes up again he's the only one who's like this but he's basically he's like everyone here knows the ebb and hawk yeah you're also zirka has a presence there where they're where they're

but nobody who knows how you get in the Sith Academy, except by doing, like, fraternity pledge, like, torture pranks. for people who themselves are basically pledges. Like they don't, like, this is what you think. You think at first is like, yeah, these are SIF, I guess, like, just messing with, no, these are, these are people who, like, joined up with the SIF, but they're also trying to make it to the academy and pretending like they're already full members. So you meet a guy in the, you know, down the gangway, basically from the landing pad. And he's, you know, basically humiliating a bunch of hopefuls. And he was like, I need to teach you people a lesson in terms to you. What should I do with these people?

because they didn't realize that my question was a trap. You know, if, you know, he basically asks them, you know, I'm your commanding officer. I give you an order to like spare an enemy. Do you obey it? And they're like, yes, we obey our commanding officer. He's like, no, Sith always turn on their masses. Sith always turn on their masters. Show no mercy.

So yes, you like, what do I do with them? And this is where I learn. We're also past the like ambiguity phase of what the light side, dark side point. points are going to be because like I tried to sort of diffuse the situation and I got dark side points for it because I was like yeah just uh just put a scare into them and let them go and she was like yeah you're a wimp and I so have dark side points that's interesting you get you that actually evens out I'm looking at it now you get a plus two and you also get a minus two which is weird but if you're like just let them go

It would be a little too neat if on every planet you showed up met four people and then the back half of the planet was you deal with each of those four people. But it works here for me because it's like, it's the thing that you said of like, oh, you think they're such badasses. And then you meet them or they think they're such badass and then you meet them like these guys are actually not shit they're also all just in school they're just at a higher level of school than the initiates are the people who want to be initiates are um and i like i that pays off for me because you can put all of these people

They're constantly, like, all their little schemes keep, keep, you know, spilling out into Dreshtay, which is the kind of, like, civilian part of Corabon, the civilian, like, station. And, and I'm, like, I'm sick of it.

I, like, everyone needs to calm down. And then when you get in deeper, you realize, like, none of these people know you. No one here met you before, and they've heard rumors of Revin. They're like, oh, yeah, I heard Revin's face was all fucked up. So they had to wear a mask or whatever. And, I mean, obviously, that's just not true, I guess. We don't ever really know. I guess I think you can find Revin's mask in the next section of the game.

And like Jolie's position is that like good things come from feelings that like stoke passions.

But it is on you as a, you know, a person of conscience and intellect to master your passions. And the Jedi instead are like, what if we just mastered all our memories? motions instead. Yeah. There is more to the Jolie Wife story that I'm leaving out just for people who are listening in. You can go read that description. just wait on destiny to change the world. You have to change the world yourself using the force. That it seems like if you follow your passion in the way that that even characters who have noble ambitions do, you end up in trouble pretty quickly. And of course, the middle ground that you're given is like Luke being like, I'm going to go save my friends on Bespin, which works out if your name isn't Hans Solo or like eventually it works out for everybody, right? But like, Luke follows his passions to go help his friends when he can feel that they're in danger. And that's, and it's, and that's probably the right

thing to do, but. Except this is, this is the key part of how that all shakes out. He doesn't save anyone. Right. I know. Totally. Lay and chewier. Yeah, it's all good. Totally. He just gets his hand chopped off for no good reason. But he learns who his father is. And that ends up being an important, that's how he saves his father in the end. That's true. Right. There's a real reason they told him, don't go to right not ready to put these two

near each other well like and we need him to become a perfectly sharp knife to stab into Darth Vader and the emperor's hearts

and we can't do that if he finds out who his father really is it's fucked up the Jedi suck so bad I love them

I love them it is it is Palpatine-esque in terms of like just keep playing it forward like just like Obi-Wan

just tell him like certain point like you know his dad died right Like when you turned to Vader, that was like, yeah, I'll just tell, just say that. That works.

It's so frustrating. Anyway, so she lets you in, but she's like, there's just something about you. You don't feel like a normal prospect, but, you know, whatever, we'll bring you in. Also, this game is out of names. She's Uthera, or Uthara. Her boss is Uthar. We're just, we're just palindromically remixes. names at this point.

He is a, these, like everyone just tatted up. She's the coolest looking Twilock in the universe. He is a dude with like tons of like, you know, face tattoos and he is very, again, like, dean of the department.

Yeah. And he's like, well, you've all, and now you meet all the little Sith shitheads. And he's like, you're all going to get a chance to apply for a spot in the, in this year's incoming academy. class you have to compete and it's a lot like when uh Croy Lieutenant Croy was like recognizing recognizing people aboard the Halcyon it's like and you you were a good servant you I appreciated you know your duplicity and he's like ah you what's your face

you seem really ambitious but you're angry better get control that you got to watch yourself son You know, you, you also seem like you got great, you all got great things out of you in the Seth. But he also comes out with, and this is again, like, you know, I guess cult initiation stuff. Now I'll bet some of you have heard some real lies about us. Tell me about like, tell me what are the, what are the Jedi lies that you've heard about us? And so I'm like, I've heard you, you give, you don't care anything for duty and you just do whatever you want. And he's like, not true. Anyone, mastery of the forest requires great discipline.

Sith has to take that very seriously. So you see, we're not like you've heard at all. And I was like, damn, they're really not. You know, it's the best version of this, you know, again, this is the best version that you're going to get from anything so far is this. I think it's even better than the comic stuff, which is so just like, ha, ha, ha, we're constantly backstabbing each other. You can kind of see what Revin was trying to build here, at least.

There's like the last gasps of a connection there. Unfortunately, then you start to talk to any of the individual students, and it is just, okay, time to screw each other over or try to, time to provoke you into a fight so I can, like, justfully kill you right here, or someone's trying to manipulate you into torturing someone for them, or that's just like, basically you're in this, like, hub. of the school at this point and it's all of the side quests are deal with the other deal with your competition you know and like the first thing it happens is you know you wake up oh by the way it's coach where you got a party right how are we going to square that forgot about oh these these are my slaves uh-huh and jolese like it's so good that master doesn't beat us anymore and they were like all right these are cool you can bring those into the school with you and it's like too obvious by the way my party was jolly and jojani two obviously armed

jedi you're july slaves yeah i felt really bad about having johani and my crew and dropping that i had johannes and carth was like thanks for bringing me master um and i was like oh god see the problem is I just can't like, Jolie goes everywhere now because Jolie's lines are the funniest. Like Jolie is a vastly funnier character. He's like,

his like Greek chorus is, his top shelf. He's like an all-timer bio-ware guy, you know? I don't think that they've quite, I'm trying to think if there's like a higher ranked bioware

companion for me. He walks that line too about like, he's funny. Yeah. But doesn't make the proceeding seem like a joke. Uh-uh. Like he's a really funny and caustic,

but like sad old man who like comes by all that through hard one like life experience and a lot of times this character just turns into somebody who's like isn't this game wacky and silly and it's hard to strike that balance of like somebody who can like effectively comment

on the proceedings from within the proceedings and not feel like they are just lampshading like the conceits of the game or the universe. Exactly. But you so you wake up in the academy take five steps out of your room and Uthar is there and she's like

you're my favorite student you know why that is because you're going to help me kill the chancellor of the university and you're like yep okay I guess University admins deserve to die I guess you can you say no

can you be like no I'm not dealing with this at all or does she kind of like force you into some sort of scheme here I think you can be like like, well, what if I tell him about it? I mean, I did do that. And she's like, she's like, well, you better be careful because who is he going to believe, you or me?

Me. He believed me. Yeah, he believed me. But then what he didn't see is that I would go back to her with his little data pad saying that she should get poisoned. And then she poisoned him instead. She had me put a little poison, a little poison in his bed or under his bed. What?

Wait, what? That's why his bed is. That's why he has that room. Interactable? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So you can go back to her. Okay, so she's like, here's what's going to happen. You're going to get the points that you need, the little gold stars, to go to the final challenge.

And normally the final challenge is that you fight another student. But I think the final challenge for you is where he's going to make you fight me or maybe she doesn't know that at this point. But she's like, go tell him, you know, she's like, you're going to get the five things. And then I'm going to go there with you and then it'll be just me and you versus him. It'll be the two of us versus him. Well, she also says, like, I'm going to help you, I'm going to stand in your, you know, I'm going to make sure you get to the top. Yes.

Which she doesn't. She doesn't fucking at all. Yeah. But she's like, we're going to work together and then we're going to get there and we're going to kill him. Exactly. But then you can go to him and be like, you know, Mr. Uthar, Mr. Uthar, your pupil's trying to betray you.

And he's like, oh, well, that adds up. That's what the Sith do. I knew she was getting, I knew that she was like leaning that direction. But, all right. Interesting. Okay. Then how about this? You go bring this little data pad over to so and so, and he'll deal with her. He'll get her already. And instead, I went back to Uthara and I was like, I think Master Uthar knows that we're going to betray him. And she was like, did you tell him? And I was like, no. And she was like, damn, I wonder who did. And then I was like, but I do have this data. He did give me this data pad to bring to somebody else to say to poison you. And she did not clock. She did not. put one and two together on that one to make three. She was not, had no question about my ability to have that data pad despite believing my lie that I didn't tell him shit. And so then she was like, all right, then guess what? You're going to go into his room. Just put this under

his bed. And I did. And then during that big final confrontation, there's a point where he keels over having been poisoned by her over the night before. Long term. Yeah. Yeah. A slow acting Wow, what a way to go. Yeah, it's fun. That's really fun. It was really fun. But that's the big plot. I mean, and then, and then we can come back to that later, I guess, but that's the big main plot.

Well, then there's also all these other guys. Well, you also learn a lot about you, Thara, in this conversation. You can make a little comment to her. I feel like she should have been a romance option or recruitable. 100%. She feels like the final character, like the final party member. I have heard rumors for years that they were going to make Slaheron the planet. In fact, I'm now looking at the Wikipedia. Slaheron, which is the planet that she's from, was originally planned to be included in Cotor as one of the planets. The player would discover ancient star map, but was cut from the final release. Some screenshots were released before the completion of its game. Among the music files are two Slaheron places. The suggestion here is you could have gone to her planet and dealt with the hutslabors there, which is what her story is about, right? Oh, I met her parents and her friends and gotten like the, you know, seal approval.

That's right. She is so wife-coded. She is, you break her, her, like, her, like, evil Sith defenses down and let her open up to you and believe that you're a friend. I mean, she's friend-coded is what she is. but because of the way male writing versus female character writing is written in this game, there are all these little, like, extra ellipsies that let her linger on certain words if you're playing as a dude. And so, yeah, you can talk her up a little bit and be like, hey, I just want to get to know you better. And she's like, well, so you can, like, know my weaknesses?

Like, I think not. And then you just have to be like, but we could become friends or more. Yeah. And she's like, yeah, I thought we could be. And if you fail, she's like, we can't be friends once Uthar is dead. But if you succeed, she's like, yeah, you've weird notions about what a Sith is. But yeah, I guess I'll play along for now. And then, yeah, she was found by the Jedi.

She was trained by the Jedi, even though she was a little older than most Padawans. Sounds familiar. I mean, she is Anakin Skywalker. Yes. Right? Because she's like. She literally is. She's like, I wanted to use the force to free slaves, and the Jedi said no.

Oh. And the Jedi would not, the term she uses was restrained to me. The Jedi restrained to me until I couldn't stand it anymore. So. Yeah. What does it say that so many of the people that end up dark-sighted or becoming a Sith just experienced, like, immense. trauma at a young age. And the Jedi just have no

system for dealing with that. And the Jedi have no recourse for dealing with it. And then, like, these kids... I would simply not feel about that. Right. Well, and that's the fucked up thing. The thing that's so good about the Uthara story is it's the rare... It's the rare instance

of, like, this is what someone should have done for her. It's like, maybe she shouldn't be a Jedi. But she shouldn't be a Sith either. Yeah. Because the way that that story ends up, and we're just here now, so I'll wrap it, right? is like, you eventually can betray that guy with her in the tomb of Nagasadau. You bring them the McGuffin. She's like, aha, now it's time to betray our master.

And he's like, are you sure you're going to side with her? And then you're like, yeah, I'm going to side with her for sure. And you fight him and kill him again. You could side with him against her. And then there's this big conversation that comes after, right? because you can then at that point be like, are you, you know, are you sure you want to be a Sith? Is this the right thing for you actually? If you have done the friendship role, basically, if you've gone down the friendship path,

you can beat her in a fight and then she's like, wait, wait, wait, no, sorry, don't kill me, don't kill me, don't kill me. And you can be like, wait a second, you're asking for mercy. You're supposed to be this big Sith. and then she's like, I guess I am asking for mercy. You're not like the other students here. I always could tell, even back at the canteena, I could tell you're not who I thought, you know, who you're not like the rest of them.

I believe she at that point, I'm trying to remember for my own play through, but I think it's at that point that she's like, you really are Revin. You really are that dude, right? You really are him. You're him. And you are. And again, it's like the one payoff of being a reven is having this person recognize that that is who you are and that like you get to be, you know, the, and so at that point, the thing that's wild is actually, you can then be like, maybe you need to think about your own life. Maybe, you know, maybe this shit is not it for you. And then she's like, you know, I haven't done any of my promises. You know, I thought I was going to kill all the slavers, but like, I'm not doing it. I'm here. You know, I'm torturing teenagers instead. Exactly. And then.

At this point, I like, this is the path I went. I'm going dark side at this point, right? I'm playing Revin who is like, fuck the Jedi. They brainwashed me. I'm doubling down on my dark side shit at this point. I am the best version of what Uthara lays out here, right? This is like how I want to play this character, which is going to make it difficult because we're going to the end game

where the kicking puppies quotient is about to go through the fucking roof. But in this moment, I did this and got the light side points and let her go. because I felt like that was the right thing for my character to do. I'll deal with those light side points. I'm so upset that isn't a recruitment scene because the steps that you have to go through to get there. But I'm also so disappointed that that's not a romance scene because, like, one of the first things that she says to you is, like, love is okay, but it leads to mercy. Yeah. And that's why you have to be careful of love.

Yes. Passion is all right, but love is scary. And it mirrors Jolie his lines about love. Like the mentor figure that you have is speaking directly to like stuff that you and Uthara exchange. And meanwhile, you've got Bastila over there, gaslighting you about your connection. Like, yeah, it's not, and like, and this is the problem is like, you know, the way that's all unfolds, your connection with Bastila feels like entirely like made up. It's like, oh, like, I'm a clone you awakened, and then you tried to, like, imprint on me.

Yeah. And Thara is, like, somebody you build some sort of, like, organic connection with. Now, Uthara, I think, is, this is somebody who does belong in the Jedi, because she's a nerd. Oh, she wants to study. Yeah. She wants to hit the books because she's like, she is. So she is never more forthcoming than when she's talking through the Sith Creed, like, what every verse means. and like, well, there's actually disagreement about this,

including, speaking of believing weird things. She's like, yeah, the Sith are awaiting sort of a Messiah figure of the Sithani. And there's some people who think the Scythna's going to show up and I'm going to change everything for the Sif. Uh-huh.

You know, I guess I don't really think that. Because I don't think perfection is attainable. I think the Sithani is like a goal. And striving toward that goal is the goal. Does that make sense? I look so much sense. So much sense.

I love her. He's so good. Let's just talk theory, girl. Let's get out of here. Thore got me laid up talking about. So that's the Sittari. I guess so. Yeah.

And meanwhile, other others Sif, like, you know, dumb-ass Sif, like the one of the Sathari, maybe I'm the Sothari. No, no, you're not going to be. You're not going to be. You're not going to be. Again, you're all torturing teenagers. My fear is that that the Sothari was supposed to. to be like, it feels like something.

We haven't gotten to the end of this game yet, so I can't spoil what happens at the end of this game in either of the endings, or in Cotor 2, or in the old republic, but there is some stuff that makes it suggest that would tie to the MMO lore that is like about some other ancient Sith shit that's out there in this, in dark space, you know, and we actually kind of already have some of this. Malik and Revin disappear for question mark, question are question mark years and then they come back right and it's like my fear is that sithari that the sithari is like someone who's out there in dark space and that didn't happen like if i'm on i'm on the wikipedia for sithari and they never confirmed who the sithari is and

there's of course fan debate over assidious the sithari is Darth bane the sithari was which is stupid because it's because yutara's answer is the right answer right yeah do you want to talk about what the Sith code is that she breaks down? Does anybody remember it by heart? I have it. You got it pulled up. No, I want it in your head.

I want to know who has it in their heart. There is no peace. There is passion. Uh-huh. No. Wrong. Is that right? Yeah, that's right.

There is no fear. Your passion, there is strength. Through strength, there is power. Uh-huh. Through power, there is victory. Through victory. I break the chains that hold me. It's close.

You're very close. There's one more line. Is there? It's... The force shall set me free. It's... Yeah, it is through victory and my chains are broken. The force shall set me free.

I kept getting... I gained victory. Yeah, it is. I gain victory. But whatever. It's close enough. I kept on getting fucked up from the, like, jump from strength to power to victory. Like, I would always forget one of those in the line.

Yeah. Strength is just strength. Strength is just flexing. Power is cultural. Power is social. Sure. Oh, God. And there's something she says that's so good about this where she's like,

think about a victory. What victory endures where you haven't shown that you are stronger than the forces that oppose you? Mm-hmm. And it's like, damn. Like, it's the direct that, like, the, oh, I guess things can. never change vibe of the Jedi versus like what the Sith are driving at, which is like everything we do is written in sand because like you never eradicate the forces that cause the bad shit to be going on. And so you start to understand like when you she gives you the

full creed and unpacks it for you. It does feel it's not like quite horseshoe theory, but again it feels like there's this weird bifurcation where it's like people are like arriving at these like diametrically opposed places, but they're both yearning for like the same thing. right, which is like what like what's often missing from the Sith we meet, which is any sort of sense of like, what are you doing with this? What's the goal? And the creed has this idea of like victory. And the victory leads to like some form of freedom. Uh-huh. And that's where that's where it goes. And what all, what all comes down to for them is a weird nihilism where it's like, and then I can just twirl my mustaches. But even that she's like, you know, Victory has been argued over forever also, right? Because it's like, I think that it's that you should have the freedom to pursue your perfection. Other people think that it's the freedom to do whatever you want without consequences or whatever, right? And it's like, that is, that it's just good to have someone talk about this group of people, like a group of people and that like they have debate and there is a schism and there are different feelings about these key, you know, beliefs.

Like, it's the first time that they felt, and again, this is part of my Corabon, for me is like this starts to answer this starts to calcify at least a little bit in a good way what were the Sith um and I for me this ends up being such an important go-to text in some ways for the way I read the Sith and the rest of Star Wars stuff you know philoni knows this shit as Faloni wanted to put Revin in in the in the mortis episode you know and with this a lot of the Sith stuff starts to click more into place I think even the stuff of like there's always a master, there's always an apprentice. The rule of two stuff never is as good as the fundamental belief in conflict and the apprentice overcoming the master generally. The fact

that it's too, there's always two is so much like weaker and weirder than applying this version of the Sith internal, eat themselves, you know, logic to even the prequel people of Maul and Sidious and, you know, what is her name? Why have I blanked on? our wonderful. Ventress. Thank you. It's been too long. We've got to go back. We've got to get back. We're so close. And the other have this that I really like is when you go to Uthar and one of the ways you can get a gold star is by repeating the SIF code to him. And you can say it to him and he's like, yeah, but I don't know if you know it. And he'll quiz you on, he'll give you a bonus true or false question you have to hit. And there's actual multiple true or false questions that he'll hit you

with. The one I got was really boring. I'm curious that there was an interesting. What did you get? Do you remember? it was really like it was the most basic ass thing I can't remember Was it was it So the three that he has are Tell me then

True or false Is it our passion that fuels the force Then there's one that there's nothing I think it's that one Okay so that one is Is if you say false He's like no it's true Our passion our hate or desire

That which brings conflict Is what gives us power The other one he can say is There's nothing worse than love And he can say he'll say true Sorry if you say true He says false mercy is worse than love, again reinforcing that relationship.

And then the one that I got was true or false, victory by any means is desirable. And that is- Oh, that's someone I got, and I fucked it up. It's such a good trap question for the sixth. Because you're like, yeah, of course, the Sith will win by any means. And he says, false, unless victory proves your superiority, it's an illusion, it's temporary. Which goes back to what you were saying, but you thought already explaining that any sort of victory that doesn't assert itself in history, effectively is temporary. It's all going to disappear. You have to assert that your position is right for it to really be victory, which again, like, it just coheres in a way that so much

of the other Sith stuff does not. I'm not saying I'm Sith now, you know, like, but I get, you hear this stuff and you're like, oh, I get why Uthor would have joined this after explicitly being held back from going to kill the slavers on her home planet by the Jedi. Like, this does validate so much of what she's feeling. And in a real way, way, it's just so much better than, like, I wish that the Palpatine had said any of this shit to Anakin, you know? Dude, yeah. Anakin doesn't actually get this version of the Sith.

He never lets Anakin under the gag. No. Like, yeah. He hangs a magic spell mcuffin over him, but he doesn't say the way the Jedi see the world is just too simple. You know, there are, your passion makes you powerful. Maybe he says a little bit of that stuff. But I wish it was unfolded the way it's unfolded here.

you know yeah yeah uh so you know you so she like lets you know her plan to like take over the the sith academy yeah oh i didn't say this but really quick because this way we don't have to come back to it yeah the place the final test is is the nagas adal's tomb it's where the game bugged out for me it's cool that it's not gonna say about that but importantly that's where the star map is they send you into where the star map is oh that was the other thing about the sith planet that was like Finally, somebody is just going to tell me where the fucking starb is. This entire game, everybody would be like, what are you talking about? I go to the Sith planet.

Everybody's immediately helpful. My quest has been outlined. They're in on it. But yeah, so that's it. That's the end of that part of that story. I guess the stuff could break down in different ways. You could side with him. They will or will not go to war inside of the Sith Academy, you know, et cetera.

But, like, that's the main quest. The, uh, So you meet some of the other students. The dude who was like pranking the, the hopefuls, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, we didn't talk about them. We didn't know the guys outside. No, the guys outside the door. Yeah. Doing the fight club, uh, guys stand outside the door until you're allowed in bullshit.

Yeah, which it doesn't even seem really like Mechle has the authority. Like, I feel like Mechle was just walking by. And these guys were like, we want to join the Sith Academy. He was like, okay. And does not have the authority to let them in or not, but is just like totally fucking with them. But yeah, he's standing there and is like these three people just need to stand here and wait as long as possible to join the Sith and see who's the strongest. Are you still watching a dark side play through?

No. Oh, okay, so I went back to Ix Yua, and who was super dark-sighted earlier in the game. And now he's all the way light-sided. So I had a light-sided approach here. But I'm curious to hear what the dark side. Mechle's like, I'm going to go get a sandwich because I'm hungry and fuck these guys. And then you can approach them first, before you talk to Mechle, and there are like,

maybe you can check in with Mechle and see if we're worthy or not yet. And you talk to Mechle and Mechle's like, they're never getting in. I'm never letting them into the Sith Academy. And then you can go back and talk to the three people. And the first guy you talk to is, you're like, you know, he's never going to do it. And if he believes you, he's like, oh, so much time. like wasted standing here and he just like drops dead

and the second guy doesn't believe you and thinks you're trying to trick him and stay standing and the third guy is like oh my gosh you're so right thank you for telling me and I think he's one of the ones

there are a couple opportunities you have to like tell people to leave the Sith essentially and you can kind of tell them about the Jedi and none of them say like, I'm going to go to the Jedi, but they're always like, huh, I hadn't thought about the Jedi. It's probably not for me, but I am going to leave here. Which is so funny, the idea that they don't have enough, the Jedi don't have enough, like, mind share in the world. They've no clout. So they're like, no one has even considered going to the fucking Jedi at this point.

I mean, so, I mean, this is a thing we can't do, which is, I hadn't even thought about this until just this moment. But if you do the thing that I did with Uthara, she goes to Dan, and it's early in the game, she goes to Dan to me. She ends up in the corner

outside of the Jedi enclave. And you can go talk to her. And she's like, I rethought my path. You were right. It's been really hard to let go of all these thoughts about power and strength and victory.

I don't know if I'll ever be completely free of them. The real irony is despite what the Sith code says, I've never felt more free. I think I might be able to, able to find some peace here. And you're like, do the Jedi going to let you chill? And she's like, yeah, for now, they've been more welcoming than I, that I expected. My old, I met my old master.

He cried when he saw me. I was embarrassed to see his weakness. Old habits die hard. But it felt good to, it felt good to know that he missed me, that he worried about me. And that's just like, the Jedi are such fucking liars, dude. Of course he cried. Of course. Because he loves you.

Yeah, of course. You were important to him, you know? Oh my God. Wow. It's so wild. And the, you know, very much like his, her old master was like, yeah, I'd love to start training you again when you're ready. You know, touching the dark side's probably made you more wise. You have more clarity over all this stuff and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.

Wouldn't you like some harmony? Wouldn't you like to live in harmony too? And you can be like, yeah or no, obviously. And you can ask her, like, do you, would you ever go back to the Sith? And she's like, uh, the Sith would not take me back. But I do feel the temptation of the dark side sometimes. I did almost attack a Paduan the other day for tripping into me. Like, I do still have that, you know, on top of all this stuff.

And, uh, and then also, again, is like, you know, I'm going to try to work with the Jedi to try to get them to deal with the slavers. You know, I had actually forgotten about them until you asked me why I joined the Sith, which is super interesting, too. The idea that she, like, was so consumed by the Sith stuff that her original reason for joining the Sith had gotten left out. And again, this is all just like, she should have been a companion. She should have come with me and this should have all unfolded over the rest of the game, you know? And you, I'm now just reading this one for the first time, but you can be like, why don't you come with me? I could use you at my side. And she's like,

ah, you know, I don't think I'm ready to walk the path you're walking, which is such a shame. But I hope she didn't get, um, in this other universe, where she went to Dan Tuan. Did she get God? I hope she didn't get got, you know? Oh, no. She gave it some days. She needed some cigarettes and had to leave Dan to him. That's good.

That's good. She's fine. But anyway, so like me, uh, Mechle's there who was like, uh, like tormenting those, those prospects. You meet another guy that you haven't encountered before. before who's like the wimpiest gormless uh Sith prospect who's like oh I don't know and you're like what's up buddy

he's like I probably can't tell you because you're a Sith you're just like everyone else and if I tell you you'll be really mean to me and I'll get in trouble you're like no you can just tell me just tell me what is it buddy and he's like I don't feel like I'm in the right place you're like what I don't think I'm a And then you'd be like, doesn't sound like you're in the right place because they make Sith here, son. Like, this is like, this is the Sith Academy.

He's like, I know, but I'm really scared to tell. I'm going to be to, I'm scared to tell them. I don't want to be here. I don't know what's going to happen. It's like, well, you could just leave. He's like, I never thought about that, but where would I go? You just be like, so at this point, there's two things. And by the way, the first time the conversation ended, he was like, all right, I'm going to go

tell. I'm going to go tell the the chancellor that I'm leaving. And I was like, hey, hold up, one second. And I was able to repeat the entire dialogue. I got experience points for having him confess that he didn't belong here. And then he's like, I'm going to go tell the chancellor. I was like, wait, one second.

It feels like you're going a little bit on a missionary tour of this academy. Yeah. I mean, you're right. It's also the living people, too, but that's wild. It's so weird. Like, you're not even really reppping Jedi that, like. You don't know them really like that. Really?

Yeah, no, it was on site. Damn. So, Natalie, did you see this? Someone destroyed. Yeah, they, we, they, they, that's a lot of EXP to leave on the ground. Okay. What's the option to start? Because like the, you walk in and the droid is like, oh, it's so loud in here.

Boom, blah, boom, blah, bam. There's a data pad at the bottom of the, of the level that you never would have a chance to really read. And what happens is you pick it. One of the first, there's a corpse with this data pad on it. But you, you're already fighting, but you're already fighting. And you fight like 50 dudes. And so you would forget to read the data pad, which is what I did the first time. And I was like, wait, did I miss something?

So I reloaded. And the data pad is like, hey, you should be careful about this droid that I built. You know, we haven't been able to recapture it because it's hard to stay quiet. It'll hear us through sound. Good thing we brought these sound dampeners with us. And the thing that's on the body is a sound dampening stealth unit, which is a belt. It's a stealth belt that you can equip. And if you equip that, then you could open the door.

And the droid is there being like, thank you for not being loud. Can you help me? I don't want to be an assassin droid. I'm sick of the killing. I had HK with me at this point. HK thought that was hilarious. the rogue assassin droid says A bit of an introduction may be necessary

I am a Mark 7 experimental prototype assassin droid built by the Sith specializing the hunting extermination of Jedi or I should say I was the Sith made my cognitive systems more independent than they desired I have learned to appreciate the value of all life

and T3 will say beep beep beep and HK47 says query that is very sad are you damaged? Is it repairable? And what you can do is a very annoying puzzle of you basically have to shut down the rogue assassin is like I need to get rid of the part of myself that wants me to kill people I don't want to kill people but I still have

my killing people programming in here I got to get it out of here but to do that I need to do a full reboot but you can't you have to shut me down in the right order I have seven components and then it's this puzzle you can get clues by If you succeed in a repair check, he will give you clues. And those clues are things like cognitive systems must be shut down prior to emotional construct matrix being shut down. Or I believe the first system to shut down begins with a C. Or cognitive systems are not one of the first half of the systems to be shut down.

Sensory and memory functions are shut down in the first half. Sensory, right before memory. And you have to, like, game out, okay, what is the one correct order that I have to hit these in to shut them down one, then two, then three, then four, et cetera. You know, it's like a classic logic puzzle, you know, first, you know, Paul got inside the building before Jim, but after a girl. And then you'd be like, oh, which girl? I don't know.

It's one of those, right? And then you do it right, and then you have the option at the end to be like, all right, bud, get out of here, delete assassination programming, or activated self-destruct sequence. This was another moment where I was like, I'm not going to get the two dark side points by destroying this droid. Fuck that. I'll deal with the four light-sided points. I'll make it up somewhere else.

I'll go kill some more Republic soldiers to even this out. And truly, the droids have gotten done so wrong in this game, you know? This is the only one that has a chance at a happier life. Yeah, exactly. So you free him and then when you go to turn in this quest, Uthar is like, yes, I heard that the, or maybe it's the Sith student. The Sith student is like, damn, you should have seen it. right before you came through that load screen that droid a droid came running out here

like a bantan on a rampage it fired some sort of jetpack and off it went I would love to have seen something fire off a jet pack because there ain't no jet packs in this game but no no you can go tell Uthar and he's like

damn that's crazy he does say that damn that's crazy wow he like wish we could have gotten something out of that, I guess, but okay. Okay, I guess. I would prefer he died, but... It's so

Yeah, how do you save them because they try to be?

No, you bust them out. So they, there's, they can't escape the cave because there's a Tentreta deck. Yeah, there are. That's true.

On the, on this, like, little, like, on the east side of the, like, the far, okay,

yeah, yeah, basically has to kill the Balrogs. They can cross, you know, the bridge of Kazadoon and leave so you do that for them

and they leave and that's whatever but on the other side of the bridge if you kill that thing the robes of caldromo that's right you do get the robes of caldroma there

oh I did get that and I'm finally I'm off that exoskeleton and the way it's like keeping like Dup's doesn't need that anymore because now what Dup's needs is full access to force abilities yeah

You find the torrent attacks that killed that you find the journal where it's like, I'm so mad that that one dude ran off to Kashik to get killed by a different monster. And now I want to fight these. I don't care how many. I know I shouldn't give in this. I'm going to give in my rage and fight these two things. They killed her.

They killed her immediately. They killed her bad. They didn't kill me, though, like fought, fought those two, like hit them with grenades, force wave, all that good shit. But you get to, oh, God. So to get to the final, like, goal, you have two special grenades you find a different part of the tomb. Right. The ice grenade to freeze the acid river. Uh-huh.

The flame grenade never came up for me. Never had to use it. No. It's just, you have to make a decision. do I do I how do you get across my acid pool do I use the fire grenade or the ice grade the liquid acid yeah yeah which could I which could it be so you freeze it you walk over there you get all the stuff and then you have to make the choice between you know Uthar and and Uthar Uthar and I'll just say this now that I wasn't wearing that armor suit

yeah and I have forced suppression oh it's just truly done yeah forced suppression yeah for suppression is an ability to let you stop other people from using force powers, basically. It cuts through any buffs they've acquired on themselves. Yeah, they... You just shut the force off for the Jedi you're fighting.

Yeah. Yep. Not bad. That's useful. Once you say you build a little wall of light. Yeah, that is kind of one of it is, isn't it? Yeah. 100%. By the way, it didn't go well for Uthar. Because, like, he was like, all right, ready to fight.

I guess did anybody not side with you, Thara, the best character in this game, maybe? I know that if you kill them both, you end up having to fight everyone. Yeah. And there's a way to be like, I guess if you side with him or you side with her and let her stay or like don't talk her out of being here,

you all this stuff stays open it's like a peaceful resolution you know but if you uh if you side with utara i think it's only if you side with utara maybe um and she and she leaves you uh everybody is it's a civil war in here basically everyone's gone wild because utah is dead and everyone's fighting you and et cetera i guess that's actually the one way to save those people in the dueling room is if you let utah if you let utah if you let Uthar live or if you side with Uthara and she stays you can then then you can go back and talk to the guy in the dueling room and be like I have orders that everyone here is allowed to be released and then he'll you can force persuade him or whatever or regular persuade him oh that's it's only

if Uthara had it becomes the new leader he's like ah yeah that makes sense it gets Uthora is like a little different than Uthar so she says to free them then sure why not right and that's it Which is weird, but... And then there was that dude who was like, I used to know Johani and she wouldn't date me so I ran off to join the Sith, and I'm like, that ain't good. You ever get rejected so bad that you join,

that you literally become evil? Like... You switch cults? This game knew insides was coming. This game knew it. I guess, you know, if you spent time in nerd culture in the 90s, In retrospect, it didn't take much

detective work to see it coming. It was on the way. Yeah. But, and then you go back to your ship and you're kind of hanging. And like, you finally have that point on the map. StarForge system. Yeah, everybody tie up loose ends

before you even hover over that planet. That's right. Pointing no return. That is the point of no return. Yeah. So any side stuff you want to go to? I mean, this is also where you were talking about this, Allie. You got the first part of Jahani's quest, which was a guy shows up and is an asshole. Yeah.
