Hello and welcome to this guided meditation.
Take a moment to find a comfortable position, one that feels natural for your body,
somewhere that you can relax without effort, without thinking,
letting your body settle into this space.
Let's begin this practice by simply bringing your awareness to your breath.
You don't have to change it or control it.
Just notice it.
The flow of the air in and out.
As you continue to breathe softly, quietly say to yourself in your mind,
I am here.
I am present.
I am here.
I am present. Take a few more breaths, letting them feel easy and unforced. Feel your body receiving the
breath, welcoming in this life force, releasing what it no longer needs, the patience and with
loving curiosity. Just begin to notice your body. Notice where you are right now. Notice the
feeling of your clothing against your skin. Notice how your body feels in this moment.
If you could assign one word to it, what would it be? And with that same curiosity, notice
the intention that brought you here today. What called you to this space? And let that
intention flow through you, through your energy, through your awareness. As we move into
a gentle body scan, bringing your awareness to the crown of your head, beginning at your scalp,
noticing how it feels, and go inward and notice how your mind feels today.
Perhaps it's busy or it's loud, or maybe it's a bit more quiet, that's okay, just notice it.
Move to your forehead, your face, your jaw. Let them soften.
Notice your neck and your throat.
Let everything release and open.
Bring your awareness to your shoulders.
Let them drop and feel heavy.
Notice your arms, your wrists, your palms and your fingertips.
Notice your chest, eyes and fall as you breathe.
Notice your upper back.
Notice your spine.
Notice your lower back and bring your awareness to your abdomen and how this space feels in your body.
Notice your pelvis as you breathe into this space.
Noticing your sit bones and the point of contact with the earth beneath you.
Bring your awareness to your legs, your thighs, your knees, your ankles.
noticing your feet and your toes notice your presence notice how right now you are here nowhere else
just here once again lovingly repeating to yourself i am here i am present once you feel ready
take a deep breath in filling your lungs completely and a slow steady
breath and recalling that intention that you set at the beginning of your practice and feeling that
energy moving through your entire being as you carry it with you into your day ahead when you're
ready you may wish to wiggle your fingers and your toes and slowly open your eyes wishing you
peace and love namaste
