Hello to this guided gratitude meditation, which can be used in the beginning of your day as you awaken your mind, body, and spirit in preparation for the day ahead. begin by making sure that you are in a comfortable position and close your eyes if this feels right for you. When you are ready, just bring your awareness to your breath. As you inhale, imagine that you are inhaling a luminous, golden, beaming light that soaks into every cell in your body. the more gratitude that you welcome, the stronger this light becomes within you until it is radiating through your skin. So either out loud or in your head, repeat these words, which is my home.
Starting point is 00:03:09 I'm grateful for every involuntary function of my body, which keeps me alive every day. Grateful for my five senses, which allow me to connect to the world around me. For they are what make me human, experiences, and mistakes, as they have led me to where I am today. I am grateful for the love that I can give and all of the love that I receive from others. I am grateful for my safety and secure. access to food and water. I am grateful for my home and a place to sleep every night. I'm grateful to have all of the resources that I need in order to thrive. I am grateful for the endless supply of abundance that I am able to receive.
Starting point is 00:06:03 I am grateful for a clean slate today with abundant opportunities. For the sun, for the rain, for the fresh air, for every animal that lives in harmony with the earth, connections that I have with others. Just a few moments. Take some time to personalize this expression of gratitude. Envision your family members or loved ones, your pets, or a dear friend. express your gratitude for them during this time. A few more moments to express your gratitude for anything else that you feel connected to in this moment, no matter how big or small. As you move throughout your day,
Starting point is 00:09:24 remember that the simple act of expressing gratitude creates an incredible coherence between the mind and the heart. And the more you practice gratitude, the more things you begin to realize you are grateful for. Try to remain connected with this mindset throughout your day, finding opportunities to express gratitude in every part of your day. Now this bright light that you welcomed in with your breath,
