Hello and welcome to this three-minute mindfulness meditation.
A comfortable position.
Close your eyes gently.
Let's dedicate the next three minutes to being fully present in the moment.
By bringing your attention to your breath.
Feel the natural flow of your breath, the inhalation, and the exhalation,
noticing the sensations of the breath entering and leaving your body.
Allow yourself to release any thoughts about the past or the future,
bringing your awareness to this present moment.
You are here in this moment completely.
take a few seconds to gently scan your body from head to toe.
Notice any areas of tension or discomfort as you exhale,
release and relax those areas,
letting go of any unnecessary tightness from your muscles.
In the simplicity of this present breath,
as thoughts arise, observe them without judge.
imagining each thought as a passing cloud in the sky, acknowledge the thought, and just let it drift away.
Take one last moment to express gratitude.
Think of one thing that you are thankful for in this moment, breath that you are taking,
the stillness around you, or any positive aspect, and when you are ready, you may open your eyes,
and carry this peace and mindfulness with you throughout your day ahead.
