Hello and welcome to this guided meditation.
Take a moment to find a comfortable seated position and gently close your eyes.
Place one hand on your chest and the other on your belly.
Next inhale. Imagine the air filling your body from your belly to your ribs to your chest.
As you exhale, release it from your chest through your ribs to your belly.
Continuing with this gentle wave of breath, inhaling into the belly.
ribs and the chest exhaling through the chest ribs and belly each breath being slower deeper
and steadier and gently begin to notice the natural rhythm of your body as it expands and contracts
noticing the point of contact between your body and the surface beneath you noticing the
touch of your clothing against your skin. Noticing any light filtering through your eyelids.
And notice that right now, you are here, not in the past, not in the future, just here.
In this moment, everything else that's calling for you can wait. Now take a moment to think of a word
that feels good to you right now.
It can be any word, any energy that's calling you.
And with your next breath, imagine breathing that word in, that energy, that intention,
welcoming it into your body.
And with your next exhale, release anything that no longer serves you.
or this new, bright energy.
Envision the energy of that word flowing through your entire being,
attaching itself to every cell within you
until you are glowing with this intention.
One more deep inhale into the belly, ribs and the chest,
and a complete exhale from the chest through the ribs and the belly.
When you're ready, you may gently open your eyes and return to your day,
carrying this beautiful intention with you into everything you do.
