Hello and welcome to this guided meditation.
Take a moment to let your body settle into whatever position feels most comforting.
As you settle in, gently, welcome in the deepest breath that you've taken all day.
with a nice and slow inhale through the nose and controlled exhale out through the mouth
deep breath in through the nose feeling your exhale out through the mouth letting yourself
release any tension with your breath one more deep breath in into your belly into your core
and let it all go with your exhale, letting your breath find its own natural rhythm.
Notice how right now in this exact moment you've created a pocket of comfort for yourself.
Even if today felt heavy or messy, even if your mind has been loud or racing.
Even if your emotions have been running high, you've created this space.
And this space is yours and yours alone.
And for right now, everything is okay.
We wouldn't be a human if we didn't get overwhelmed sometimes.
Where emotions build and thought can all feel like too much.
Not because you're doing anything wrong, but because you're doing something wrong.
but because you're alive, you're human, and we're sensitive and wired to feel.
So this practice isn't about getting rid of any of it, shifting your relationship to what is here,
softening the edges around the thoughts that have been gripping you,
loosening the weight of those heavy emotions.
Instead of fighting that voice in your mind,
We're simply learning how to slow it down, almost like lowering the volume on something that's been running too loud for too long.
When those thoughts and those emotions surface, just return your attention to your breath, to my words, and to this very moment.
I want you to think about nature for a moment.
Think about the sky after a storm.
always clears and the clouds always break always finds its way back
the form cannot last forever and neither can this feeling this always returns and relief always
comes and there is something in you underneath all of this noise that is steady to guide you
the inhale steady predictable and comforting rhythm sequence that you can rely on even when everything else
feels uncertain and just let yourself drop into that spaciousness and that stillness meet the thoughts
and the internal mental chatter and let yourself ease into the stillness with every
single breath now in the next few moments silently repeat the following words to yourself no longer need to hold it all
if to let it go weight is lifting need to hold it all if to let it go and let these words anchor you
along with your breath for the next few moments letting yourself expand into the stillness within
Once you feel ready, release the mantras and just notice how you feel just like the storm.
This two shall pass.
When you're ready, welcome another deep breath in through your nose and a complete exhale out.
When you're getting heaviness or tension.
Leave your body and gently welcoming some movement back into your body.
as you slowly open your eyes that this peace lives within you infinitely wishing you peace and love
