Hello and welcome to this guided meditation for deep relaxation.
This time is for you to unwind, to release tension,
and to connect with the inner peace and calm that resides within you.
When you are ready, find a comfortable position, either seated or lying down and gently close
your eyes, allowing your body to settle into the surface beneath you.
Any tension to begin melting away.
Begin with a deep breath in through your nose.
And as you exhale and let your body sink deeper into a deep breath.
a state of relaxation as you gently turn inwards towards your beautiful inner experience.
Continue to breathe slowly and steadily, noticing the rhythm of your breath as it flows in and out.
Now let's begin to focus on the Ujjayi breath, a technique that creates a gentle sound at the back of your throat,
like the sound of an ocean wave.
Start by slightly constricting the back of your throat as you inhale
and exhale through your mouth.
As you do this, you'll notice a soft, soothing sound with each breath.
This breath signals your body that it is safe to relax.
So if it feels right for you, continue with this breath.
throughout the duration of this meditation
take another deep breath in
feeling the air pass through your throat
and then slowly exhale
maintaining that soft
whispering sound
continue with this beautiful ujjayi breath
letting it guide you deeper into
relaxation
feeling each breath like the rolling waves
of the ocean as they wash in and out of your being. As you continue with this breath, bring your
awareness to your body, beginning at the top of your head, noticing any tension there. With each exhale,
imagine that tension dissolving as you breathe more oxygen, more prana into that space,
leaving your mind feeling smooth and relaxed continue to move down through your forehead and your eyes
feeling the waves washing over you relaxing your cheeks your lips and your jaw letting go of any
tightness allowing your face to soften completely now focus on your neck and shoulders
With each breath, feeling these areas loosening, releasing any tightness as you breathe the prana into this space.
Allow your shoulders to drop naturally.
Your neck to lengthen as it relaxes.
Bring your awareness to your arms to become heavy and relaxed.
With each exhale, releasing any lingering tension from your upper arms, your elbows,
forearms, knowing your hands to rest gently, completely at ease, shifting your attention to your
chest and your abdomen, noticing the gentle rise and fall of your breath, and with each exhale,
feel your chest and your stomach softening, releasing any tightness or constriction in this area,
knowing your breath to become even more steady and cold.
calm. Now bring your focus to your back, each breath flowing along your spine from your upper back
down to your tailbone, each wave washing over each vertebrae, allowing your entire back to sink
into decompression and relaxation. Feeling your breath as it expands in this area, moving your
awareness down towards your hips and pelvis. With each breath delivering healing oxygen,
feeling these areas becoming more and more loose and relax, allowing any tightness to melt
away. Bring your attention to your legs, letting each wave of relaxation flow down through your
thighs. Past your knees, your calves, your calves, your calves,
your ankles into your feet.
Allow your legs to feel heavy.
Completely at rest.
With each exhale, releasing any last bits of tension,
letting any remaining tension flow throughout the bottoms of your feet,
like sand, melting away in all that is left
is the pure, heavy,
relaxed being.
That is you.
That is your beautiful body.
Now take a few more moments to simply focus on your breath,
continuing with the Ujjayi breath if it feels comfortable.
The sound of your breath to be your anchor,
guiding you deeper into a state of peace and calm.
As you continue to breathe,
deeply and steadily. Know that you can return to this state of relaxation whenever you need.
Your breath is always with you, connecting you to the here and now. When you feel ready to return,
gently wiggle your fingers and your toes, bringing some movement back into your body.
Taking one more deep breath in.
And as you exhale, slowly opening your eyes, or you may continue to rest, whatever feels right for you,
in the sense of deep, peaceful relaxation with you into your day or into your night.
Wishing you peace and love. Namaste.
