Starting point is 00:00:37 Thank you so much for being here. And welcome to this guided, deep breathing meditation. You are ready. Find a comfortable and quiet place to sit or lie down, making sure your clothing is loose and comfortable on your body. close your eyes and take a moment to settle into a relaxed posture, resting by your sides, and begin by taking a deep breath in through your nose to fill with air, and your chest and abdomen rise as you breathe in.
Starting point is 00:02:13 Attention or stress as you exhale. Feel your chest and your abdomen gently fall. continue with a deep breathing pattern. Inhale deeply through your nose, counting to four. Feeling the air, hold your breath at the top of your inhale to the count of two. Slowly through your mouth as you release this breath. Any tension leaving your body. Briefly at the bottom of your exhale.
Starting point is 00:03:55 For a count of two, with this cycle of deep breaths of four for a count of two as you continue with this rhythmic breathing focus your attention on the sensation of your breath of the inhale as the air enters your nostrils warmth of your exhale as it leaves through your lips begins to wander as distracted by thoughts gently bring your focus back to your breath back to the counting thoughts or worries to drift away with each exhale the breathing pattern for a few more cycles
Starting point is 00:06:19 in your breath to cleanse and renew your body and deep breath in as you exhale let go breathe naturally gentle rise and fall of your breath allow your body to rest comfortably. Ding with your breath. Nothing else matters. It's just you and your breath.
Starting point is 00:08:33 And you are ready. Slowly bring your awareness back to your surroundings and gently open your eyes. Take a moment to savor the sense of relaxation and peace that you have cultivated through this deep breathing meditation. Like another moment to express gratitude for your breath or your body for your life. Know that you can return to this meditation or this type of breathwork.
