And as always, once the meditation begins, there will be no advertisements and no disruptions.
Thank you so much for being here.
To this guided sleep meditation, take a few moments to let yourself get really comfortable,
settling into your bed or wherever you're sleeping tonight and just allowing yourself to occupy the space.
and feeling the mattress beneath you, feeling any blankets or covers, resting softly against your skin,
perhaps feeling your clothing on your body, feeling the softness of your pillows, really just soaking in this moment.
And as you do this, I want you to notice that there is nothing that you need to do perfectly tonight.
This practice is not about effort.
It's not about achieving a certain state.
It's not about forcing sleep to happen.
Instead, we're going to focus simply on allowing.
And throughout this meditation, we're going to come back to a simple mantra.
I allow myself to rest.
It doesn't mean it's going to happen, it doesn't mean it's guaranteed.
It's simply an invitation, a loving, welcoming.
I allow myself to rest.
I allow myself to rest.
I allow myself to rest.
Going yourself to feel whatever needs to be felt, whatever is ready to be released,
to gently fall away, allowing the journey to take you where you need to go.
And so let's set that intention to allow your mind to rest,
to allow yourself to let go of anything that's been holding onto you,
to allow yourself to breathe deeper and slower,
to allow yourself to set everything down,
and to just be lovingly collecting all of your awareness
and letting it land on your breath
notice how rich and rewarding
this breath truly is
this breath that sustains you
this breath that has been with you
throughout the entire day
throughout the entire year
throughout your entire life
and can you just quietly say thank you to this breath.
A moment of gratitude.
Thank you for sustaining me.
Thank you for being with me.
Thank you for being a part of me.
honoring this breath.
Now we're going to shift into our box breathing practice.
And as always, never force.
If it feels uncomfortable or strong,
trained for you. Simply do your best. And with this box breathing, we're going to inhale to the
count of four. We're going to hold to the count of four. We're going to exhale to the count of four.
And hold to the count of four. So whenever you're ready, let's begin. Inhale, four, three,
three two one hold four, three, two, one. Exhale, four, three, two, one. Exhale, four, three, two, one. Inhale, three, two, one. Inhale,

Continuing in your own time
Just imagining this breath
like a square
and following it
and following it with your awareness as you inhale hold exhale hold exploring your own rhythm can you sink this breath deep within your core and you let your mind follow this breath can you become one with this breath and you allow yourself to flow with this breath it may still be busy thoughts might still be
appearing and that's perfectly okay just continue to follow the breath to follow the box and when
a thought arises simply imagine it like a raindrop on a window and just watch it slowly pass by
it might try to engage with other thoughts it might try to get bigger it might try to get more complex
but ultimately it passes. You don't have to engage. You don't have to contemplate. Just hold space
until it releases itself. Knowing the gentle sound of the rain to begin to wash over you
as if this rain is here to cleanse you, to refresh you, to soothe every part of your being,
to carry you off to the most restful and restorative sleep shifting deeper into your sensory body
can you notice what you feel right now what you hear the sounds in your left ear and in your right ear
and you notice what you see even with your eyes closed we can some of
Sometimes notice colors and shapes or faint patterns of light.
Can you see anything?
Can you smell anything?
Notice if you can taste anything.

feeling of heaviness spreading through your body. A pleasant heaviness. A grounding heaviness.
Although you're being gently held by gravity itself, by the rain, by the energy around you,
the day is done. There is absolutely no more that you need to do. You did the best that you could do today
and even if you feel like you didn't, that's okay too.
Because there's still tomorrow.
There's always another day, another opportunity, another beginning.
Let that take some of the weight off of today.
Feeling the gentle rainfall beginning at the crown of your head, touching the top of your scalp,
washing away any mental clutter, any thought loop.
Anything that's weighing you down in the mental landscape.
Allow it to be rinsed away and feel the rain moving down across your forehead.
Soffening the space around your eyes, all of those tiny muscles.
Moving across your cheeks, behind your ears, your jaw, everything.
To loosen.
Feel the rain.
washing down your throat and your neck, rinsing away any tension that you've been holding there,
any strain, just allowing it to wash away. Feel the rain moving across your shoulders,
across your upper back, feeling your shoulder blades gently separating from one another,
as this rain makes its way down your spine,
saturating every vertebrae moving through your back moving down your sternum and into your abdomen
as the rain washes down your obliques your lower back cleansing everything in its path
and feel the rain moving around your hips your glutes washing away any energy that you've been
holding or storing there knowing everything to melt down
through your legs, allowing even the deepest muscles within your body to release as the water
cleanses them and feel the rain moving through your thighs and your hamstrings, purifying you
as it washes down your knees, over your shins and your calves, into your ankles, and finally into
your feet, washing over every part of you, the inside out, allowing yourself to just be here,
to be heavy, to sink through time and space, and just allow yourself to feel comfortable.
You deserve to feel comfortable. You deserve to feel safe. You deserve to feel at ease.
I allow myself to rest
I allow myself
to rest
I allow myself
to rest
you may wish to simply be in these next few moments
or perhaps you wish to return to your box breath
or simply just focus
on the sound of the rain
just allowing yourself
to slowly
sink into a deep state of peace, of relaxation.
I'll myself to rest.
I allow myself to rest.
I allow myself to rest.
Wishing you peace and love in a restorative slumber.
Namaste.
