A Zen Mind Guided Meditations - Detachment | Let Them, Let It - Guided Meditation
Episode Date: August 14, 2024This meditation is centered on the art of detachment—releasing your hold on people, situations, or outcomes that you may be clinging to too tightly. Attachment often fuels anxiety and a sense of ina...dequacy, but by consciously turning inward, we can reconnect with our inherent worth and completeness. Through this practice, you'll be guided back to the truth of your innate wholeness, independent of external conditions. During this meditation, we use the phrases "Let Them" and "Let It"- reminding us to to release control, trust in the natural flow of life, and stay rooted in your authentic self. Hello and welcome to this guided meditation.
This meditation focuses on detachment.
Letting things be as they are and accepting things for what they are.
Coming back to your innate worthiness and wholeness,
knowing that you are perfect the way that you are external factors do not validate you so when you are
begin by finding a comfortable position where your body feels at ease gently close your eyes if that
feels right and bring your attention to your breath just notice the steady rise and fall of your
chest, natural rhythm that grounds you in this moment, allowing yourself to settle into the space
of stillness and peace, knowing that you are exactly where you are meant to be in this very moment.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and invite yourself to bring your awareness inwards,
turning your attention away from the outside world, away from the outside world, away from
from anything that may be pulling at your thoughts or emotions. In this moment, there is nothing
else that requires your energy, only your breath, your being, and your presence. Now,
gently call to mind anything or anyone that you feel attached to, any person, situation,
or desire that has been weighing on you. Notice how it feels in your body.
Notice how it tugs at your thoughts.
Acknowledge it, but without judgment.
Simply observe.
There is nothing for you to change.
There is nothing for you to do as you hold this awareness.
Softly say to yourself, let them.
If it's a person, or let it, if it's a situation.
Whatever happens happens.
Let them.
Let life unfold exactly as it will.
Let it.
Release the need to control or grasp.
You are already whole, already perfect as you are.
And nothing outside of you can define your worth.
You are not bound by anything or anyone.
You stand tall rooted deeply in your true self.
Feel your inner strength, the unwavering sense of who you are beneath the noise.
You do not need to chase, to cling, or to seek validation from the world around you.
You are enough just as you are.
Your worth is intrinsic, unshakable, and eternal.
Allow yourself to feel the peace that comes with this truth.
Envision any attachment or worry that you've been carrying, beginning to dissolve, falling away like dust in the wind.
Now if it feels right for you, take both of your hands and create fists with them.
Tightening your grip, feeling your muscles contract.
Feeling the discomfort that comes from holding on.
continue to hold these fists for five, four, three, two, one.
Release your fists and allow your hands to relax with your palms facing upwards.
Feel the relief as it travels out of your palms, up your arms, and into the rest of your body.
notice how good it feels to let go
to release the grasp to release the attachment
allow yourself to feel weightless
to feel lighter
and to feel at peace
sit with this for a few moments
and feel free to repeat this exercise
while you imagine
a person or a situation that is on your mind
that you may be overly attached to
When you release the grip, you release your attachment.
These things, these people, these attachments are separate from you.
They do not own you.
You are complete without them.
You have a beautiful inner world to nourish and to enrich.
You do not need anybody or anything.
to make you whole.
With each breath, feel yourself becoming lighter.
As you release these attachments, you create space,
space for the universe to bring you what is truly meant for you.
Trust that what is meant to find you will always find you.
What is meant to stay will stay.
And what is meant to leave will leave.
Let them.
Let it.
You are not diminished by any of it.
feel the deep unwavering trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be and that
everything is unfolding to your highest good you are rooted in your power untouchable by the
external world no one and nothing has the power to take away from the brilliance of who you are
you are whole you are powerful you are enough and in this
wholeness, there is no need for attachment. What is for you will always come and what is not
for you will simply drift away. Let it. Let them see any attachments slowly drifting away with
gratitude and appreciation for what they served in your life, knowing that bigger and better
things are on their way. Welcome them.
Create space for them.
Breathe deeply into this sense of freedom and liberation.
Let go of anything weighing on your heart.
Let go of any need to control outcomes.
Let go of any desire to hold on too tightly.
You are free.
And in this freedom, you are radiant.
You are valuable.
You are more than enough.
Standing firmly in your own light.
as you prepare to bring your awareness back to this present moment.
Take a final deep breath,
feeling the peace and stillness that you have cultivated within you.
Know that you can return to the space of inner strength and detachment whenever you need.
When you feel ready, gently open your eyes.
Carrying the sense of wholeness and trust with you.
Move through your day with the confidence that you are enough.
detached, free, and fully at peace and in love with yourself and the unfolding of life.
Trusting that all that is meant for you will find you.
Wishing you peace and love.
