A Zen Mind Guided Meditations - EFT for Healing the Body: A Gentle Tapping Meditation for Pain Relief, Illness, & Discomfort
Episode Date: April 16, 2025Download my FREE EFT Tapping Guide!💛 This guided EFT tapping meditation is here to support you through pain, discomfort, or illness in the body. This practice was lovingly created to help you relea...se tension, rewire your internal narrative, and begin aligning your body and mind with a more peaceful & comfortable state of being. This meditation is not about denying what you're feeling - it's about consciously working with it. You're giving your body, mind, and nervous system permission to recalibrate, soften, and move toward relief. So if you’re managing chronic pain, recovering from illness, or simply needing gentle support, this practice is a compassionate space to reconnect and begin healing from the inside out. This session follows three rounds of tapping: Acknowledgment – The first round invites you to gently acknowledge your current experience, pain, or symptoms without resistance. Openness to Change – The second round softens the body and mind, opening you to the possibility of relief & healing Shifting Mindset – The final round helps shift your inner dialogue, supporting a new, healing narrative, tapping into your strength, wholeness, and potential for change. ___ If you're unfamiliar with EFT tapping: EFT involves tapping on specific meridian points on the face and body while focusing on a particular issue or emotion. It works to calm the nervous system and clear energetic blocks, (similar to acupuncture). Below is the tapping flow we will follow, along with my personal preferred method of tapping - but you are always free to do whatever suits you best. The side of the hand (karate chop point) - In between the eyebrows - one hand, two fingers Side of eyes (near temple) - both hands, two fingers Under eye - both hands, two fingers Under nose - one hand, two fingers Chin - one hand, two fingers Collarbone - one hand, two fingers OR both hands Underarm - both hands, two fingers Top of the head - one hand, two fingers With love, Jo 👇👇👇 More from A Zen Mind 👇👇👇 ✨Follow Me on Instagram 🎙️ Listen Ad Free on Patreon ▶️YouTube 💌Join My Email List 🌸www.azenmindpodcast.com 💖 Say Thanks & Support A Zen Mind Learn more about your ad choices. Hello and well to this guided meditation.
This EFT tapping meditation has been created for anyone who is dealing with chronic or acute pain,
illness, or any discomfort in the body.
It's physical pain, emotional pain, or any form of dis-ease.
This session is here to lovingly guide you into releasing tension, connecting to your body's ability
to heal. Emotional freedom technique is a gentle practice that combines tapping on specific points of your body
with mindful affirmations.
It works by engaging with the energy system in the body
and allowing you to acknowledge what's present
in a loving and supportive way.
And by doing so,
we can begin to shift negative thought patterns,
release energy that no longer serves us,
and invite healing and peace back into
the body, mind, and spirit.
With EFT tapping, we recognize that the mind and body are deeply connected.
So when we shift the energy in the mind, we allow the body to respond.
This is not about pushing away what is there.
Rather, honoring it, acknowledging it,
making space for healing to flow.
So as we begin, take a moment to center yourself
and connect with your body,
a comfortable seat or lay down.
When you're ready, may gently close your eyes,
may wish to tap with one finger or more
on each point that we move through together.
It is completely up to you,
whatever feels natural,
with a gentle, loving, breath,
in through the nose, creating space for healing to exist. Exhale fully. Releasing any limiting
beliefs or any expectations of what this time should be. Let's take another deep, intentional
breath in through the nose and exhale fully once again. When you're ready, just allow your breath to
return to its natural rhythm. You can repeat the phrases out loud in your mind or just listen
to them. Whatever feels comfortable for you. Beginning with the karate chop point on the side
of your hand under your pinky finger. Even though I'm feeling this pain in my body, I choose to love
and accept myself. Even though I'm holding this discomfort, I choose to
honor where I am and how I feel. Even though this pain is present, I trust my body's ability
to heal in between your eyebrows. This pain is real. It feels heavy. It has been with me for a while
now. Side of the eyes. I feel the discomfort in my body. It is hard to ignore.
It is hard to release.
It has been affecting me for so long.
I am tired of carrying this weight, but I acknowledge it.
And I am willing to heal under your nose above your upper lip.
Part of me feels frustrated.
Part of me feels stuck in this cycle.
But I know healing is possible.
chin I honor my body for carrying me through this pain I honor the parts of me that are strong
even when I feel weak collar bones I am not defined by my pain my illness I am a person
who is healing under your arm I honor where I am in this moment I am open to release I am
open to healing in the top of your head.
I acknowledge this pain, but I am ready to let it go.
Let's begin to shift this energy with the next round.
Beginning with the karate chop point, even though this pain is here,
I trust my body's ability to heal, even though I feel this discomfort,
I choose to open myself to peace.
Even though the pain feels real, I am open to releasing it all in between your eyebrows.
My body knows how to heal itself.
I trust in its wisdom.
I trust in its strength side of the eyes.
I am learning to trust my body again.
I am learning to release what no longer serves me.
Under the eyes, I am strong enough to let go.
I am strong enough to heal.
Under the nose right above the upper lip,
with every breath I invite peace.
With every breath, I invite healing in the chin.
I release any fear that healing isn't possible.
I release any doubt that my body can't recover.
Collarbones.
I am open to letting go of the pain.
Under the arms.
I am open to feeling whole again.
My body is healing.
It is healing.
With one more round of this healing energy.
Karate chop point.
Even if the pain is still here, that healing is in motion.
even if I can't see it yet I trust the process even if it feels difficult I choose to surrender
and trust my body's wisdom I am worthy of health I'm worthy of peace I'm worthy of comfort
and healing I release all resistance to healing I release all fear around
my body's ability to recover under the eyes.
I am grateful for my body.
I am grateful for its resilience under the nose above the upper lip.
I let go of the energy that no longer serves me.
I release anything that is not aligned with my healing on the chin.
My body is capable of healing itself.
I trust that healing happens at the perfect pace for me.
Color bones.
I am open to receiving health, peace and vitality.
I am open to feeling strong and whole again underneath the arm.
I let go of any past hurts, pains or traumas.
I let go of everything that is holding me back from healing.
I trust in the process of my body's healing.
I trust in my ability to heal.
I am safe.
I am loved.
I am deserving of healing.
And I am.
Now gently allow your hands to rest in your lap as we gently stop.
Stop tapping. Take a deep cleansing breath in and let it all out slowly. And just notice how your body feels in this moment.
What has shifted for you? Even if it's subtle, acknowledge it. You have just taken an incredible
and a brave step in your healing journey. You've honored your body and you've allowed space for change.
That is a beautiful, wonderful and commendable thing to do.
Healing is a process. It is a journey.
And right now you are exactly where you need to be.
You are strong.
You are so capable.
Your body is healing in its own time
by consciously cultivating thoughts and words
that resonate with this truth, you are doing an incredible service to your well-being.
Turn to this tapping practice whenever you need to, to reconnect with your body,
to release pain, and to welcome healing.
Your body is strong.
It is powerful, and it loves you, and you will.
get through this. You are worthy of feeling whole again. In every single moment that passes by,
you are healing always. When you feel comfortable, gently wiggle your fingers and your toes,
reconnecting your awareness to the space around you. I wish to relax here a bit longer, or
you may open your eyes and return to your day. Whatever you choose,
Carry this energy with you, wishing you peace, love, and so much healing.
Namaste.
