Starting point is 00:00:37 Thank you so much for being here. Hello to this guided meditation, which will help you to release anxiety or panic. This meditation can be used at any time, regardless of where you are or what you are doing. If you are able to sit or lie down, uncomfortably. If you are comfortable closing your eyes, you may do so now. Anxiety and stress are typically caused by something that has happened in the past or something that is to happen in the future. With that, it takes us out of the present moment and transports us somewhere else. During this meditation, we are going to return.
Starting point is 00:02:07 to this very present moment and feel a sense of grounding and connectedness within. Begin by gently taking a few deep breaths, inhaling through your nose. Notice if you can hear the sound of the air moving in through your nose, and notice the sound of it exiting your body through your lips. Bring your awareness to the way your body is responding. to these breaths, or belly expanding as you breathe deeply and your chest falling as you exhale fully. Let's take a moment to set an intention for this time. Go of any tension, stress, anxiety, and to allow space for healing energy to flow freely. Repeat to yourself, I am present now. I am
Starting point is 00:04:03 invite healing energy into my body. I release anything that is weighing me down. Now shift your focus to the feeling of your body against the surface that you are resting on. Noticing any points of contact, texture, the temperature, allow yourself to sink into this sensation of physical support. noticing how it conforms to your body, listening to any sounds around you that you may be able to hear off in the distance or noise from outside, or maybe just the sound of your breath as you inhale and exhale. Just pay attention to it. Take a moment to notice any sense in the environment, the subtle aroma of your surroundings. If you have a taste in your mouth, shift your attention to that.
Starting point is 00:06:27 It could be a lingering flavor from a recent meal or simply the taste of your breath. Notice the sensation without trying to change it. Even if your eyes are closed, notice any light patterns or colors that you perceive. Any visual experiences to come and go or just pay attention. to the level of darkness that your eyelids provide, comfortable. Return your attention to your breath. Just allowing yourself to exist in this moment. This very second, neither here nor there,
Starting point is 00:08:08 all that exists is right now, so that you can or should be. Your mind wanders. Just gently bring it back to your five senses, imagine a healing light starting to form from the crown of your head flowing through your body pulsating with peace and ease visualize yourself completely filled with this light as any remaining anxiety melts away completely and flushes out as the healing energy washes over it Let's take three more deep and slow breath, counting backwards until you reach one.
Starting point is 00:10:11 With each breath, you anchor yourself into the here and now. Stay here for a few more moments and just breathe naturally, being present in the moment. Grounded, centered, connected, and calm. So that you can return to this meditation whenever you need, to find relief from anxiety. You have the inner strength and the tools you need to bring yourself back to the present moment
Starting point is 00:11:47 to cultivate peace and stillness within. Namaste.
