A Zen Mind Guided Meditations - Meditation for Self-Acceptance & Inner Harmony
Episode Date: May 20, 2026🌷 This guided meditation is all about the pure love and freedom of self-acceptance. During this practice, we move through a gentle visualization to help you reconnect with the core of who you truly... are, beyond expectations, pressure, productivity, or perfection. So often, we feel as though we need to be doing more, achieving more, or becoming “better” in order to deserve love and acceptance. But true self acceptance is the realization that your worth has never been something you had to earn. Together, we return to the truth of your inherent worthiness. We close this practice with a series of gentle promises to ourselves, affirmation style, allowing us to soften into greater compassion, freedom, and love for who we already are. Thank you so much for being here.
Welcome to this guided meditation.
Take a moment to settle into a position that feels easy and relaxing for you.
And just allowing yourself to slowly arrive in this practice.
and in this space, this practice is a gift from you to you and you allow yourself the permission
to both give it and receive it or at least setting the intention to do so. You're ready,
you may gently close your eyes as we begin with one nice deep, deep,
breath in through the nose, lengthening the spine ever so slightly, and exhale out through the mouth,
dropping the shoulders, relaxing the jaw, softening all the tiny muscles in your face
as you allow your breath to find its natural rhythm, just noticing the breath exactly as it is,
in its natural form.
Being it flow freely, in and out, without restriction or force.
Just allowing the breath to exist exactly as it is,
and becoming aware of that helps us connect with it more naturally,
more effortlessly, noticing your body,
the fact that you have a body noticing your heart the fact that you have a heart you have feelings
emotions and presence in this space a sense of love that exists already within you
even if it feels challenging to connect with at times can you trust yourself enough
to believe that it's there.
Now I invite you to gently bring to mind your own reflection.
Maybe it's you now, or perhaps it's you as a child.
And I want you to envision meeting them in a quiet, comfortable, safe space,
one where it's just you and them.
Look at them the way a deeply lovely,
loving friend would rather than searching for flaws or imperfections notice all of the things that make
them exactly who they are their quirks their character their ideas their energy notice how you don't love them
for their accomplishments for their title or for their status or productivity
You don't love them for how healed they are or how successful they are.
You love them because they are them.
Because their value and their worth are intrinsic.
Nothing external could ever define that.
Self-acceptance is not a reward that gets unlocked once a certain outcome is attained.
It is a decision.
a choice, to stand by your own side, to show up for yourself from a place of kindness and compassion
rather than comparison or anger or fear to exist beyond the ego and to pour from the inner
fountain of your highest, most loving self.
Now with this reflection in mind, with this version of this version of,
you standing right before you envision stretching your arms out and embracing them feeling a sense
of love kindness compassion and softness extending from your heart to them and perhaps creating a
gentle promise to yourself from yourself letting each word
resonate as it is your truth. I promise to meet you with compassion, not punishment. I promise to let you be
fully, freely yourself. Promise to let you exist without constantly asking you to be more. I promise to love you,
not for what you do, but for who you are. Using your breath.
to drop deeper into your own inner wisdom and truth, letting yourself for once, just be you and loving yourself for you.
For this is one of the deepest forms of freedom and reverence.
Your worth is intrinsic.
It always has been.
And it always will be.
there is no better time to accept and to love yourself than right now in this very moment
not someday not when something changes not if but right now when you feel ready you may take another
nice deep breath in through the nose letting this beautiful energy experience experience
and within you and flow throughout you all go with your exhale out welcoming some movement back
into that beautiful body of yours wiggling your fingers and your toes and slowly opening
your eyes letting the energy that you've cultivated during this practice show up in the
thoughts that you think about yourself
and the words that you speak to yourself, and the way that you feel towards yourself.
You are an incredible being.
You deserve to love yourself, to accept yourself, and to be fully you.
Wishing you so much peace and so much love. Namaste.
