Gently close your eyes and let's get into the meditation together. Good morning, my friend,
Starting point is 00:01:21 and welcome to this meditation. Begin by finding a nice comfortable position. And once you've settled in, take a nice, deep breath and as you exhale, softly, close your eyes and as you enter this first moment of meditation just set everything else in the outside world aside for now you've taken this time to pause and to reconnect with who you truly are by the end of this meditation session you will feel different not because anything outside of you has changed but because of what's shifted within. And it doesn't require anything grand. Just start with three easy breaths,
Starting point is 00:03:30 inhaling and expanding down into your diaphragm and then exhale. Just letting the air fall out and allowing your body to settle down just that bit more. Again, deeper now. Inhale and exhale. Releasing anything you're still holding onto. Once more now. Inhale. Deepest breath yet. Exhale. Release. Just let it all go. And allow your body to soften. Relaxing your face. Unclenching your jaw. Allowing your shoulders to release. To release. release downward and anywhere else you feel tension or pent up energy. Just envision breathing into that part of your body and as you do it dissolves it and allows it to soften and in this way allowing the body to serve as a guide for the mind toward ease and
Starting point is 00:06:34 and calm. Now that you've settled a bit deeper within, I invite you to consider who you woke up as this morning, and I don't mean your name or your job or roles in life, but the version of yourself who you're showing up as. Is it a version that worries or holds, holds back or feels tired or tries too hard. Identify it yourself. My ideas are just that. Ideas. And whatever you're calling this version of you, imagine it like an outfit, an old one
Starting point is 00:09:04 that has served you well time and time again, but it doesn't quite fit the way it once did. And if you're ready to let go of this old outfit, this old version of you, take a breath in, and as you exhale, imagine it slipping off of your body as everything it carries with it falls away. All of the limiting beliefs and the doubts and the harmful ways of being. You don't need to fight it. Just let go of it. And as you let go of it, feel the lightness that follows.
Starting point is 00:11:12 And notice now who you are without it, undefined by these old waves, you have the freedom to step into a new version of yourself. So envision that version now. And let it be a version of you on your very best days, whatever that means to you. Notice what's different. How do they stand? How do they carry themselves? How do they treat themselves and others?
Starting point is 00:13:18 This version isn't someone you become someday. This is you. It's already in you. It's an outfit you already have in your closet. It just gets covered up sometimes. So imagine moving closer and closer to that image, that version of you on your best days. And then step in like light, filling a room. Notice how it feels, clarity, the confidence.
Starting point is 00:15:32 a contentment and now envision moving through your day like this notice how you respond rather than react notice the calm confidence you move with notice the way you treat yourself and others notice the joy and fulfillment that come to your life simply by showing up as the best version of yourself and to seal your intention, to show up as this version of you today. And every day, I invite you to repeat after me. I am showing up as my best self today.
Starting point is 00:18:37 I am showing up as my best self today. Now, take one. One more deep breath in, filling up with positive energy and momentum in being your best self. And then exhale, release, and gently begin to bring yourself back as you're ready, noticing the sounds in the room around you and maybe bringing some gentle movements to your body. just to wake it back up. And whenever you're ready, you can open your eyes and gather yourself,
Starting point is 00:20:27 turning towards your day. Knowing that you're here today as your best self and carrying that into your choices, your conversations, and all that you do. Thank you for joining me in this meditation. I hope you have a fantastic day. Namaste.
