Thank you so much for being here.
To this guided meditation, which can be used if you are feeling nervous before an event and comfortable space,
where you can sit or stand with your feet firmly planted on the ground.
Take a moment to adjust your posture, bring your shoulders,
away from your ears and gently close your eyes. Start by bringing your attention to your breath.
Deep breath in through your nose as you count to four. Your chest and abdomen expand. Hold your
breath for a moment. I'll slowly through your mouth, counting to six. As you exhale,
imagine expelling any nervousness that you may be feeling.
Visualize roots growing from the souls of your feet.
Extending deep into the earth,
the support of the earth beneath you,
anchoring you,
and providing a sense of stability.
Place your hand on your upper abdomen.
As you breathe,
imagine a warm, glowing white light,
warming in this area.
This is your center for strength and confidence.
Say to yourself out loud or in your head, I am prepared and I trust in my abilities and focused in this moment.
A moment to scan your body for any areas of tension, starting from the top of your head and slowly moving all the way down to your toes.
Any tension, consciously release that area with each exhale.
envision yourself confidently and successfully going through this event.
See yourself speaking with clarity and poise.
Feeling at ease,
any expectations or attachments to the outcome.
Instead, focus on doing your best in the present moment.
Trust that you have done the necessary preparation
and whatever happens, you will handle it with grace.
shift your attention back to your breath,
taking a few more deep, calming breaths
to express gratitude for the opportunity that awaits you.
Embracing this as a chance for growth and learning,
regardless of the outcome.
Open your eye and carry this sense of calm and confidence with you
as you step into the moment that you are capable and worthy.
