Thank you so much for being here.
And welcome to this guided meditation.
This meditation is here to help you unwind, to soften completely,
to gently let go of the day as you prepare,
to slip into a deep rest.
full sleep. This is a time for you to release whatever happened today and to return to your sweet,
sacred inner world. There is nothing more that you need to do and there is nothing else that
you need to figure out, to contemplate. This is a time of rest to melt into stillness and allow yourself
to be perfectly held by peace and by sleep.
So take a moment to make sure that you are nice and comfortable,
that your clothing isn't too tight on your body,
that you aren't too warm or too cold,
and that you are free from any and all distractions.
You've been tied to the world all day
to expectations, to responsibilities, to the energy of whatever situations or experiences you had today.
Now is the time and the space to return home to yourself, to lovingly close out the day
with gratitude, with acceptance, with peace, and with love.
ever so gently once you're ready let's turn inward allow your eyes to close allow your body to
begin to settle letting yourself arrive here in this quiet space where the day begins to fade
away let's begin with a deep and a slow breath in through the nose
filling your lungs completely and let it all go with a soft exhale through your mouth
feel like a sigh like a relief deep breath in soft and steady as you fill your body with fresh cool air
peacefully letting the day exhale out of you or deep breath in releasing static
stagnant air. Once you are ready, just allow your breath to return back to its natural rhythm,
back to the natural flow, unforced, gentle, like the waves rolling in and out of the shoreline,
and let your body become heavy, heavy in the most healing type of way.
your arm blanket draped over every part of you supported safe completely at ease your muscles relax
releasing any tension in your body as you allow yourself to melt into the surface beneath you
as a wheel
spinning
from the rhythm of the day
but circling
energy stretched
moments replaying from the day
pieces of you still
tied to places you've been
things that you've done
words spoken or left
unsaid
now as if summoned by your breath
you begin to call all of
it back, every thread of your energy, returning home, drawing it in with every inhale, with the grace
of someone who knows that they are worthy of peace and with each exhale, releasing what is no
longer yours to carry, allowing it to gently flow out of you, allowing it to create space within
the residue of the day melting away old thoughts dissolving tension unraveling feel it like a golden light washing over you cleansing you to the truth of who you are beneath it all pure presence and whole this wheel turning slower and slower as it's winding
down for the night there is nothing to hold on to for effort to make and each thought that comes
it doesn't need to be followed just noticed and let go as the wheel of the mind turns even
slower now still it is barely turning at all just stillness just quiet says that's okay can float in
float out you don't need to change it you don't need to stop it just let it pass as you
return to the soft rhythm of your breath this is your time to rest to restore to
drift into the deepest waters of sleep a space where you are safe to let go
where you are safe to rest, to be the steady rhythm, rocking you gently inward, softly, and slowly.
Each inhale a little lighter, and every exhale a little deeper.
Most how to sleep.
Mind remembers how to rest.
You don't have to try.
You can simply be, and let the stillness carry you.
Let there be more silence now.
More space, to dream, to float, to fall softly into sleep.
And if you're still awake, that's okay.
You're resting.
You're releasing.
And you're already on your way.
Let it go.
Anything go.
That does not belong here.
Energy.
You are so, you are so loved, new peace, stortive sleep. Namaste.
