Starting point is 00:15:07 Yeah, it's really fun. It was like Curiselle versus Germany. That was a big thing on Sunday. Just Curisal, scoring a goal against Powerhouse, Germany was a huge deal. That's why the World Cup is so much fun. Yeah, no, super fun. Yeah. Tracking some nice weather today.
Starting point is 00:15:19 A little break from the heat and humidity, but that changes tomorrow. Today will be in the mid 80s, which is actually below average. Upper 80s is our average high at RDU. Tomorrow 94 degrees, Thursday likely a record high. We stay in the 90s through the weekend. So the heat will be here to stay.
Starting point is 00:15:35 As far as rainfall goes, I have just a stray shower chance today south of the triangle. Tomorrow we're dry Thursday during the day, a 20% chance of rain. But the chance for storms will climb more so on Friday. We'll have scattered rain and storms. Then we do dry out for your weekend. Father's Day looks great.

How about that out the door? 60 and Sanford, 65, Roxburgh, Durham 67, along with Raleigh, Fayetteville, 72, but it's a nice feeling 72. That's because we have. winds from the north. Do point temperatures down into the 50s right now. That's your comfy,
Starting point is 00:16:22 refreshing air. Still a little bit more of that tomorrow. And then by Ferris and Friday, humidity values really take off before coming back down a little bit more for the weekend. So the weekend's going to be hot, just not as humid. High temperatures today, low to mid 80s. Enjoy the break. We'll be in the 60s tonight. Still mainly cloudy, straight shower chance to the south. So that cold front that came through yesterday is settled to our south, including around the Gulf South. But in addition that also tracking some rain and storm action around Mexico with an area of low pressure that could develop into a tropical system because it's going to emerge over the warm waters of the Gulf so the hurricane center actually bumping that potential for development up but even without
Starting point is 00:17:02 becoming a tropical system check out all the rainfall that's going to be likely here easily eight plus inches of rain from Texas through Louisiana Mississippi Alabama even into parts of Georgia they're going to see some rain and storms with the front in the way it'll be situated Most of the rain will stay to our south, unfortunately, but the best shot we'll have is into Friday. So we heat up into the 90s tomorrow. We'll see a bit more cloud cover into tonight, but then clearing out by tomorrow afternoon. By Wednesday night and Thursday, we'll see some clouds, but the shower and storm chances will start heading up, as I mentioned, later in the week. Thursday night into Friday, there is a chance for isolated severe storm, but damaging winds would be the main threat.
Starting point is 00:17:40 So 85 today, 60s tonight, back to the 90s tomorrow with near record highs on Thursday, 92 Friday, with scattered, storms for June teeth. Saturday, 90 degrees for hurricane today, 93 on Sunday for Father's Day, also the first day of summer. And then Monday we're back to the mid-90s with scattered storms. Weather and traffic together.
