Right now, live coverage from your local news leader, breaking stories from overnight and this morning, and your first alert forecast.
Here's what's happening where you live. This is ABC 11 eyewitness news.
Good morning, Carolina. I'm Bianca Holman. It's Sunday, March 1st this morning on eyewitness news, a deadly fire at a carried townhome, firefighters finding the victim in the garage, or what we're learning about this investigation.
Plus, NC State Highway Patrol confirming the victim of a deadly crash on NC 147.
It involves master trooper Stephen J. Perry and the driver of the other car who was going the wrong way.
Also a victim, they're encouraging drivers to find alternate routes in this area.
Raleigh Police identifying the victim and the suspect charged with his murder outside an apartment complex this weekend.
And we have more on the U.S.-Israeli military strike rocking Iran, killing their superfluing.
leader and targeting multiple cities, including Tehran.
Iran firing missiles and drones in retaliation hitting Israel and U.S. bases in the region,
while at least one person is dead and more than 120 injured in Israel,
with two injured in Dubai from falling debris.
President Trump warning Iran not to escalate as the U.S. embassies in Oman and now Jordan
orders Americans to shelter in place.
Let's go ahead and take a live look at the Raleigh skyline as the sun is up.
It's looking like a beautiful day starting out 50 degrees.
So we're going to be getting up pretty high out there.
Fall spring, as we like to call it.
Exactly.
And the thing is it'll be a shock to the system tomorrow, how much colder it's going to be.
So, yeah, let's enjoy today.
Still a little bit of patchy fog around Irwin down towards Clinton, Silas City, little packets of fog here and there.
But generally, we got sunshine out there.
Now, we'll get some clouds this afternoon, mid-70s.
Again, if that front comes in a little bit sooner, might not make it to those mid-70s.
but we're splitting hair. It's just a degree or two off. And there could be an isolated shower as that front pushes in later in the day and it's really going to get colder tomorrow.
59 and 37 today for the norm is by the end of the month, 68 and 44. We average about four inches of rainfall. The hottest ever, 94. The coldest ever back in 1980 was 11 degrees.
Good day to get the car washed. We'll get up to those 70s as we go through the afternoon. We'll see some clouds coming in.
Low rain chances. Again, a spotty shower can't be ruled out. See,
these little green blips here with our predictor forecast model. But as that front pushes them,
temperature should fall fairly quickly as we go into the mid-evening hours and then it's going to be
a colder day tomorrow. 50 degrees with sunshine in North Hills right now, a light southwesternly
breeze. 50 at Oxford and Roxburgh, 49 into Burlington. Still some fog around Irwin at 44 and Clinton
currently at 47 degrees. Evening planner, if you've taken a walk through the neighborhood,
we'll keep that low-in risk at a sprinkler or a stray shower. But the numbers come
down fairly quickly through the evening. Make some plans, though, later this week, starting
Wednesday. This is a long, warm stretch coming our way. More on that. Coming up in just a few
minutes, Bianca. All right, Steve, thank you. Well, right now we are breaking news. The NC
State Highway Patrol mourning the loss of a trooper, master trooper Stephen Jay Perry died this morning
during a crash on the Durham Freeway. We told you, we were told that it appears that Perry
was struck head on by a wrongway driver. The other driver also died in the crash.
The DNC 147 at Swift Avenue remains shut down to drivers.
Durham Police also investigating a shooting that happened off of Highway 54.
Officers, they tell us that they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound just before 2 o'clock this morning.
He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
So far, there is no word on a suspect.
We'll bring you an update as we learn more.
And turning now, a massive U.S. and Israeli attack on Iran is underway.
and Iran is striking back, targeting U.S. bases there in the region.
Iran's supreme leader, now dead, leaving the future of the Islamic Republic uncertain.
Overnight, President Trump warning Iran not to escalate their attacks.
Here's ABC's Alison Kosick with the details.
It's the announcement sending shockwaves around the world.

The 86-year-old killed in a massive coordinated U.S. and Israeli attack on Iran.
President Trump posting on social media, this is not only justice for the people of Iran,
but for all great Americans and those people from many countries throughout the world
that have been killed or mutilated by Hamanae and his gang of bloodthirsty thugs.
Satellite imagery showing extensive damage to the Supreme Leader's compound.
Buildings leveled.
Video posted online showing celebrations in Iran after news he'd been killed.
killed. Iranian video showing mourners lining up for his funeral.
Sources telling ABC News, the joint U.S. Israeli strike was meticulously planned for months.
The brazen daylight assault dubbed Operation Epic Fury.
Trump laying out his case.
Our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime,
a vicious group of very hard,
Terrible people.
The operation involving U.S. and Israeli fighter jets as Navy warships fired Tomahop cruise missiles.
At least nine cities in Iran were targeted, including facilities of Iran's revolutionary guard.
The president saying several of Iran's top leaders were also killed.
Iran swiftly retaliated, Israeli air defense intercepting a barrage of Iranian missiles over Tel Aviv,
some still breaking through.
U.S. officials say the operation could last for days, and the president acknowledging that there may be American casualties.
Alison Kosick, ABC News, New York.
Allison, thank you. And right now, North Carolina military families are weighing in on the U.S. attack on Iran.
While the White House is not yet specified which U.S.-based troops took part in Operation Fury, we know special forces from Fort Bragg have handled high-stakes missions before.
I witness news speaking to veterans in the Sand Hills about the recent mission in the Middle East.
Some saying the operation was necessary.
This is more of a cutting the head off the snake, getting rid of the financing of terrorists.
There's no room for terrorism and they definitely do not need to have nuclear capability.
Of course, if everybody could just get along, but ideologies crush that.
The U.S. military has reported no combat-related American casualties.
Officials say damage to U.S. installations was minimal and operations remain unaffected.
Tune in tonight on ABC News for Shockwaves, the attack on Iran.
The special will air on also their streaming channels, Disney Plus and Hulu.

Breaking overnight, Kerry firefighters discover a deadly scene inside a townhome garage.
Crews responded around 1045 last night to smoke coming from a home off the Anniston Court.
They found a small fire inside the garage and a victim who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police and fire investigators are working to identify the victim and determine what sparked that fire.
Breaking in Raleigh, a fire sparking at the Helping Hands mission.
Firefighters were dispatched to the center off Rock Quarry Road.
And it happened around 7.30 this morning.
We're told smoke can be seen coming from the building.
We're working to learn to what the extent the damages are and if anyone was injured.
And new this morning, we'll learn new details about a death investigation in Raleigh.
Raleigh Police identifying the victim as 72-year-old Arthur Uppurch.
He was found dead outside an apartment building off Bassett Trail yesterday.
That's just off Newburn Avenue.
RPD now says 66-year-old Sandra Hunter is charged with his murder.
New destinations and low fares.
The airline breeze airways expanding service at RDU this summer.
Plus, Raleigh's first water burger now has an opening date and it's just weeks away.
And a group of germ friends turned a pandemic idea into a booming bourbon brand with a powerful story.
First, good morning, Steve.
Hey, good morning there, Bianca.
Good morning, everyone.
Sunshine downtown, the temperatures warm up.
We still have some patchy fog in a few areas.
50, though, in Raleigh and Durham, 52 in a Goldsboro, even Rocksboro, 50 degrees right now.
We'll see those numbers climbing to those low to mid-70s before a big drop tomorrow.
All the details after the break.

This is First Alert Weather from ABC 11. I Witness News.
Hey, good Sunday morning, everybody.
Still a couple areas of patchy fog, but plenty of sunshine.
We'll get some afternoon clouds, maybe a sprinkler too.
It can't rely out a light shower up in our northern counties.
Brief, don't cancel any plans.
But we're in the 70s today. Definitely going to be a warm one and we drop big time tomorrow behind the front. Temperatures will be in the 40s for highs. Heading out, maybe lunch outside will be near 70 around midday. Lots of sunshine, not bad at all. And by 2 o'clock, we're already at 74 degrees. Out in about right now, 50 degrees of sunshine, a light southwestly breeze at this hour. 46 of Roanoke Rapids, 54 in the south hill. Smithfield at 50 degrees. Still fog there in Irwin at 44 at this really shallow fog. It should, uh,
evaporate quickly. 63 is you're walking in the D-pack tonight to see Brett Young about 52 when you head back home.
It should be a decent evening and the clouds are really going to thicken up though overnight and will be overcast tomorrow.
Got some light snow in New York, Atlanta 77, Dallas at 80 degrees. That's ice potentially or at least a mix.
Maybe some sleet and freezing rain around Kansas City. Denver 66 and L.A. pretty warm in the 80s.
So far this morning, all the major hubs looking good. Got you 7A. coming up in a few minutes, Bianca.
All right, as we talk about other cities and flights, Breeze Airways announcing two new nonstop flights at RDU Airport.

From Durham Friends to award-winning founders, how Old Hillside Bourbon is putting a hometown story in every bottle.
We are Local News.
News continues now. You've got an opening date for the Raleigh First Waterburger restaurant.
It's located at the corner of Six Works Road and Wake Forest Road. It's set to open April
9th. The Texas-based restaurant chain will open its Wake Forest location two weeks earlier on March 26th,
and two more water burgers will open in Raleigh later this year.
Iowa News is spotlighting people and products that are North Carolina made, and today we are
headed to Durham to meet the makers of a black-owned bourbon.
company using the heritage of Durham's Hillside High School to make a big splash in the world of
whiskey. Joe Brown has a story. This is Durham. This is where I'm from. This is where I grew up.
And Durham is where Jesse Carpenter first met his friends who are now his co-founders of Old
Hillside Bourbon. During a pandemic, I reached out to those guys and told them I had an idea
to start a bourbon company and they were on board. I mean, like friends from 30 years and
then we're doing this business together. It's awesome. These brothers in Bourbon branded their bottles
an homage to their beloved high school alma mater in Durham.
We graduated class of 1993 from Hillside High School.
We went to the Old Hillside.
Concord and Lawson Street, it's the Old Hillside.
And just six years after uncorking the idea of a bourbon company, business is booming.
The company shipped 300 cases of Old Hillside in its first year.
They're projecting 10,000 cases this year.
It won Best in Show at the 2023 Tag Global Spirits Awards.
I'm going to go to the nose.
of oak, vanilla.
And it's winning over a notoriously finicky crowd of craft bourbon critics.
I think it's great taste.
It might not just be the taste, but the stories Old Hillside tells.
A photo of the old hillside high building on the original vintage
reminds drinkers of one of the oldest historically black high schools in the country.
Another flavor celebrates the untold success of African-American horse jockeys
who dominated the Kentucky Derby before the Jim Crow era.
And their latest vintage honors the Harlem Hellfighters.
the renowned all-black military unit in World War I.
This is the centerpiece of that conversation.
Jesse tasking his young team of brand ambassadors
to get these bottles and stories on more store shelves.
More bars and restaurants tackling different markets.
Setting up tastings at different ABC boards
to build our brand of presence throughout the state of North Carolina.
Like a lot of Great Bourbon's Old Hillside is distilled and bottled in Kentucky,
but its founders will tell you the smooth finish is Durham, North Carolina made.
Oh, Hillside is a lifestyle, not just a school, friendship and camaraderie.
That's what we do.
In Durham, Joel Brown, ABC 11, eyewitness news.
Oh, Steve, I want to check it out.
I'm not really a bourbon drinker, but, you know, to support something local, I'll have a little taste.
There you go.
All right.
Good deal.
Listen, we got sunshine out there right now.
Still some patches of fog in a few areas, really shallow.
It's evaporating quickly.
Highs in the 70s today, a nice bright day.
We do have some clouds coming later this afternoon, maybe a couple of sun.
spotty showers as well. But behind the front, it is a dramatic drop. Temperatures are going to be much colder tomorrow. Matter of fact, probably in the mid-40s for high, so a good 25, 30 degrees colder. But a spring preview right around the corner starts on Wednesday and lasts for a long time. Look how many days are going to be way above average in the upper 70s, might even touch 80 for a day, and we stay quite warm all the way into the 10th or possibly beyond. There's where the front is now. We're going to see that settling in here later on today.
And if it's a little bit quicker, we might not make it to those mid 70s.
I've got us in those mid 70s now.
But again, if the front's quicker, we'll see.
But the point is, is we'll see some clouds moving in.
I can't rule out a spotty, light little shower.
Wouldn't be much.
You can see predictor there's the 70s.
Some clouds coming in late in the day.
Little green blips there could be a shower briefly, though don't cancel any plans.
But once the front moves on by, we get a wind shift and our temperatures are going to start to go down fairly quickly.
50 into North Hills right now with a light breeze.
out there about three miles an hour.
Widespread 50s across the board.
Still some fog in a few areas like around Irwin
where it's 46 degrees.
Southern Pines currently at 53 with plenty of sunshine.
Evening walk, again, I can't rule out a
sprinkler or a stray shower, but look how fast
the temperatures are going to drop through the evening hours.
So early evening, not bad for that walk around the neighborhood,
though. Maybe a spotty shower down east.
Our best chance is probably Tuesday morning
of getting some rain. Clouds to hang tough.
Hang tough. We'll be about 10 degrees warmer than Monday and then we'll jump up maybe close to 20 degrees despite the cloud cover. We can be in the mid-70s on Wednesday and more warm air upstream is going to be moving our way and it's going to last for days. Highs today will be in the low to mid-70s. We'll see some afternoon clouds and maybe a spotty little shower. 75, Raleigh, 76 into Fayetteville and Roxburgh around 73. Overnight tonight the clouds will come back. We'll be in the upper 30s and most spots, low 40s.
in the sand hills. We'll call it seasonal temperatures. 37 is the normal low, so really close to that.
First of all, it's seven a day then. Tomorrow, 46. What a drop off in temperatures, mainly cloudy.
There could be a couple of spotty showers late in the day. Best bed is farther to the north.
And then overnight into Tuesday morning, a few more showers. We'll boost the temperature by 10.
Nearly a 20 degree boost on Wednesday. Despite the cloud cover, we warm up nicely. And then Friday,
heading into the weekend, temperatures are going to be near 80 degrees.
make some plans by Sunday.
There could be some scattered showers
and maybe some thunderstorms in our forecast,
but this is a lot of warmth to look forward to.
All right. Seeing that 80 degrees
makes me want to put something on the grill, Steve.
Right, absolutely.
All right, thank you.
More than 420,000 North Carolinians
have already cast ballots.

So let's start with the battle for the open U.S. Senate seat
to represent us in Washington after Tom Tillis,
decided not to run for reelection. We know there's going to be a lot of money flowing in.
It already is, and we've had some high-profile visits for these candidates so far.
Steve, we can only anticipate that's going to increase the closer we get to November.
Two candidates right now drawing the bulk of attention.
One of the Democratic side, former Governor Roy Cooper.
On the Republican side, it's former RNC and NCGOP chair Michael Wally.
Roy Cooper is entering this race with a big advantage when it comes to name recognition.
He may be the most well-known politician in the state of North Carolina.
Eight years as governor and there was a period of course, as we recall, during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He was on TV basically every single day.
That familiarity goes a long way with voters.
Before that, 16 years of state attorney general served in both the state house and the state Senate, nearly four decades in office, never lost a race.
His national profile as well, getting a boost back in 2024 when he was in consideration to be Kamala Harris's running mate.
Then you have that familiarity with his staff from the executive mansion.
Many of them joining the campaign, I think inherently there to believe.
that's going to serve them well.
So how do you make up that gap?
You bring in the most well-known person in the country.
That is Donald Trump.
That is exactly what the Wally campaign has been able to do,
leaning on his close ties with the president.
Trump has been to North Carolina twice in the past three months,
once to Rocky him out, once to Fort Bragg.
Look, he can fire off a truth social post.
He does that for a lot of candidates,
but he's not coming to the state appearing in person,
giving his strong support like he has for Wally.
The two have had a close relationship,
dating back at least a decade.
I think that goes a long way because nationally, there's been some concerns from Republicans.
Do Trump voters come out when he's not on the ballot for his part of the president trying to dispel that?
We'll see if Watley is able to capitalize on that for the primary and, of course, then, the general election.
And you look at Roy Cooper, and he in this purple state of North Carolina has managed to attract plenty of Republicans and Democrats to vote for him as governor and as attorney general.
Michael Watley has never been on a ballot before.
is that a risk for for Republicans to have someone like Michael Watley on the ballot?
It's such a dichotomy, right?
Because you've had Cooper for nearly four decades.
You kind of know where he is on the issue, whether you like it or not, while he's never run.
I think there's a lot of questions right now from voters on where does he stand on the issues?
What issues is he going to try and really highlight throughout the course of his campaign?
How is he as a campaign or simply meeting voters connecting with voters?
That's an unanswered question.
All right.
So that's special coming up later on this morning.
And coming up, North Carolina officials weigh in on U.S. strike in Iran.
Some call it necessary while others say it's unconstitutional.
And we have a live look right now at Israeli security rescue teams at a residential building
that was hit during an Iranian rocket attack.
We are learning at least eight people.
We're killed by this strike.
More from Middle East and those developments ahead.
Right now, live coverage from your local news leader,
breaking stories from overnight and this morning,
and your first alert for.
forecast. Here's what's happening where you live. This is ABC 11 eyewitness news.
Here at 9.30, a live look into downtown Raleigh. The sun is up, very different from the
great skies that we've had for the past few days. Looking pretty good out there. Good morning,
Carolina. It's Sunday, March 1st. I'm Bianca Holman. You're watching eyewitness news on ABC11
and wherever you stream the details, the top stories, and all the day's news. It's just ahead.
But first, let's go ahead and check with meteorologist Steve Stewart on this beautiful day.
is shaping it up to be.
Can be good.
Yeah.
Yeah, get out and enjoy it because tomorrow's nearly 30 degrees colder.
So.
Say it ain't so.
That's right, but a roller coaster.
Make it to the mid-70s today.
There's a front coming in.
We still have some patchy areas of fog in a few areas, by the way,
but it's evaporating quickly, really shallow.
But 75, if the front gets here slightly earlier,
maybe 72 or 73,
but we're going to keep that risk of a stray isolated shower and that's it.
First day to New Month, 59 and 37.
By the end of March,
68 and 44 of the normals.
We average about four inches of rainfall.
Hottest ever, 94.
That was in 1907 and back in 1980, 11 degrees.
Pretty darn cold.
All right, survey, I'm heading out today.
Those numbers climbing up.
We get to those 70s.
We'll see some afternoon clouds coming here
from the north and west and maybe a stray spotty shower,
but it's not a bad day to get the car washed.
Again, the coverage of rain is going to be very limited,
very isolated, and it's not going to last long at all.
And then as we go through the evening hours,
we'll be partly cloudy.
Overnight the clouds are going to come back.
Sunny now, though, North Hills looking good.
A light breeze about three miles an hour.
Wide spread 50s across the board.
Burlington's a little bit cooler.
Still some fog being reported there at Irwin at 46 degrees.
Evening plan here, maybe a little walk through the neighborhood.
Can't rule out a stray little sprinkle or a shower.
But look at the numbers how quickly they drop as that front moves in.
We get a wind shift and my goodness it's going to be colder tomorrow.
But starting Wednesday, a long warm stretch is coming our way.
More on that coming up in a few minutes. Bianca.
All right, Steve, thank you. Breaking right now, the North Carolina State Highway Patrol mourning the loss of a trooper.
Master trooper Stephen J. Perry died this morning during a crash on the Durham Freeway.
We're told it appears Perry was struck head on by a wrong way driver.
That other driver also died in the crash.
NC 147 at Swift Avenue remains closed to drivers.
And this morning, two people are dead and more than a dozen injured after a mass shooting in Austin, Texas.
Authorities say an armed person entered Beaufort's bar and opened fire.
Police rushed to the scene where they encounter the suspect and returned gunshots.
The suspect was killed.
Fourteen victims are receiving treatments at area hospitals there in this.
Now to more headlines in the aftermath of the U.S. attack on Iran.
just south of Iran, we're learning at least two people have been injured in Dubai.
The Dubai media office confirming debris from drones being intercepted fell into two homes there overnight.
This morning, the U.S. Embassy in Moscow.
at Oman, as well as the embassy in Jordan, issuing a shelter-in-place order for all Americans in the country due to the escalating violence.
Iranian leaders are vowing retaliation on the U.S. and Israel.
Meantime, North Carolina leaders in Washington are weighing in on the attack on Iran.
Some praised the move as necessary for national security, but others view it as unconstitutional.
Republican Senator Ted Bud expressed his support calling Iran a direct threat to American interests,
saying there's little doubt that Iran's reckless ambition.
to obtain nuclear weapons and long-range missiles represent a grave threat to our safety and security.
A nuclear Iran has always been unacceptable and unacceptable outcome.
But there's pushback from local Democrats.
Congresswoman Valerie Fushi, who's up for re-election on Tuesday, said this attack ignores the will of the American people
and recklessly puts our service members in harm's way, repeating the same costly mistakes of past regime change wars
that have destabilized entire regions and destroyed countless lies.
See more local reaction right now at ABC11.com.
All new this hour, Pope Leo expressing deep concern following the U.S. and Israel attack on Iran.

ABC 11 eyewitness news continues now.
Today, the body of late civil rights leader, Reverend Jesse Jackson, will be transported to his home state of South Carolina.
Jackson will become the only second black South Carolinian ever honored with a viewing at the statehouse.
Meanwhile, people here in North Carolina also reflecting on his life and legacy.
Our reporter, Akela Davis, introduces us to a Robeson County family who opened their home to Jackson during his 1984 presidential campaign.
Few people in Robinson County today can say they've personally met civil rights legend Jesse Jackson.
But 73-year-old Nancy Williamson remembers her encounter like it was yesterday.
So much so, she's kept an entire photo album dedicated to that moment in history.
That's his handkerchief he left us.
You've kept it all these years.
It was May of 1984.
Jesse Jackson was in North Carolina campaigning for his historic presidential run.
Nancy's late husband Ronnie, an activist for the Lumby tribe, got an unexpected call.
Jackson would be staying at their house.
She says he was overwhelmed with excitement.
Got the children from school.
Me and Rhonda cleaned up in the front room, the house, and him and the woods was out in the yard.
Getting everything ready.
Jackson was supposed to arrive at 11 that night, but a campaign event ran late, putting him three hours behind schedule.
He arrived at their Pembroke home at 2 a.m. to community members.
and journalists all eager to witness and document the moment.
Very kind man and he proved in his actions in ways that he cared for people.
She says Jackson slept on her daughter Rhonda's twin bed.
His right hand man Ben Chavis slept on the couch and 27 Secret Servicemen were outside all night.
The next morning she woke up to make him what she called a good old country breakfast.
Her daughter Rhonda, now 54, was 12 years old and 12 years old.
12 years old at the time.

He said Jackson was a good man.
In Robinson County, Akela Davis, ABC 11, eyewitness news.
All right, 947 this Sunday morning.
Time to get a check of the weather outside.
Steve.
Yeah, it's going to be a nice one today.
Temperatures warming up already,
and I hope you get a chance to enjoy the day.
Things will change later this afternoon.
We'll get some clouds coming in,
but we should all make it to the 70s today.
A little bit of fog still in a couple of hours.
this morning, but it's very shallow.
A dramatic drop at our temperatures for tomorrow.
We go from the 70s to the 40s.
Overcast skies and maybe some spotty light showers
late in the early Tuesday morning.
Spring preview starts on Wednesday, and we're not joking.
I mean, we're talking 70s, maybe flirting with 80 on a day or two,
and we stay there all the way through the 10th and possibly beyond.
So this is going to be a long stretch of some really mild air.
Fronts up here, that'll be settling south.
Now the timing on that's key.
If it comes a little,
bit quicker. We might not make it to those mid-70s. I'm only talking a degree or two cooler,
but still the point is going to be a warm one. We'll catch some clouds coming in later on this
afternoon and we'll see maybe a spotty shower. Here's predictor showing the little green blips here
and there. We can't rule out an isolated shower. Don't cancel plans, but quickly the temperatures are
going to be dropping as we get that flow coming here from the northeast behind the front. 50 right now
with a light breeze at about three miles an hour, widespread low 50s across the board with 57 now. And
154 into Smithfield and Fayetteville currently at 48 degrees.
Heading out for later on this evening, I can't rule out a spotty little shower.
But again, once that front settles in, look how fast the temperatures are going to drop right on through the evening hours.
As we look ahead, maybe a morning shower on Tuesday.
Otherwise, the clouds hang tough.
Don't worry about that sea breeze little green blob there.
That's not going to be anything in the afternoon.
Then as we go into our Wednesday, the fronts to the north, we're warm.
Matter of fact, we'll be in the low to mid-70s, despite the.
cloud cover and warmer air upstream is going to be pushing to the east and stick around for a long time under this ridge of high pressure.
70s for highs today. We'll have sunshine now, but some late day clouds will come in as that front settles in from the north and west, maybe a stray isolated shower.
And then for tonight, becoming mostly cloudy and low temperatures near where we should be about 37.
So we're going to call it seasonal temperatures tonight and some low 40s down in the sand hills.
First of all right, seven day. What a drop from the 70s today to the 40s tomorrow. A lot of clouds. There could be a spotty light shower late in the day. I think there's a better chance overnight into early Tuesday morning of getting light rate. I stress light. Not a lot. Clouds hang tough during the day on Tuesday, but about a 10 degree warm up. And then a big bump up as we get into Wednesday to 74 degrees. Thursday about 77. Still lots of clouds around. But despite that, we're quite warm. And we finish partly sunny skies on.
Friday and Saturday, and temperatures are going to be up near 80.
Make some plans to get out or look just fine.
Maybe we'll get a shower at thunderstorm next Sunday,
but a lot of warmth is going to be with us for days and days.
