Starting point is 00:00:01 Anytime that you feel resistance in your life, there's an opportunity for you to grow, and here's why. When there's resistance, that means there's friction, okay? And there's something that's like pulling me back. I'm trying to move forward, but there's something that's pulling me back. Well, the only thing that could pull me back was the past versions of myself. You need to clean your past. Because if there's any type of debris, any type of weight, still lingering, inside of our own life, you can't move on.
Starting point is 00:00:34 You cannot move on in the clear and clean way. So ultimately, the way to self-mastery, the self-assessment, the self-observation, with what aim to clean yourself from the roles that you started creating in this lifetime. To clean yourself from the identity, you started investing so much effort and energy in order to maintain it. And all of this taken together, meaning in a way also, in the moment you understand what is your source and what is your essence, the view on this world becomes different.
Starting point is 00:01:12 The way of how you live your life, the way how you interact with people in this lifetime starts to tremendously change in the moment where you are starting to understand that we all play a role. It won't get harder. Like this is the hardest part. And so if you can just make it through this, everything else is downhill. It's not that the things that you're, the dragons are going to slay aren't going to get bigger. They are.
Starting point is 00:01:41 But you become so much more equipped to slay them back. It's time to go ghost, bro. The easiest way to fail at anything in this life is by telling people what you're doing. To be successful in this life is to be misunderstood. I don't care if they don't believe in it. I don't care if they think it's stupid. When you're up and they're stuck in the same place,
Starting point is 00:02:00 Still might not make sense to that, but it makes sense to you. Go ghost, turn that phone off, forget the crowd, and lock the fucking. I believe in you, bro. Lock the fucking and I'll see your ass at the top. The definition of a life well lived. For me, a life well lived is a life that is not about victories or losses, but about a continuous process of growth, a continuous process of evolution. a continuous process of adventure, curiosity, bewilderment, and awe,
Starting point is 00:02:51 one in which you don't go quietly into that good night at the end of the race, but instead you rage and rage and rage against the dying of the light. Define life according to your measures of success, but it really is things I believe, like expressing your power, doing work you find meaningful regardless of what the world thinks, finding people around you who love you, enjoying names, you know serving people being a good human being. I finally realized there's something inside of us more than our limits.
Starting point is 00:03:29 Today all of us have an impact. The difference between having an impact and not having impact is a decision. It's not resources, it's not money, it's all there, it's a decision. So I want to talk a little bit about mindset today, about thinking about how we think. Because ultimately it's the most critical thing, what distinct What distinguishes us as humans from every other animal, what distinguishes one human for another is how we think. And I want to encourage you to think
Starting point is 00:03:57 in what I call a bold and abundant mindset. Because how you think matters and it changes everything, in your business, in your life, everything. We have control of our minute, our hour, our day, our week, our month, and our year. Stop running around being on the receiving, receive an end of whatever people want to dump on you.
Starting point is 00:04:23 And when you're hanging out with negative, dark, and dysfunctional people, you cannot expect yourself to go to sleep at night and rest. You cannot expect yourself to feel good about your day when you're including negative and dysfunctional people in your day. At the end of the day, we are a bunch of people on a little planet in a huge galaxy, and before we know, we're going to be a bunch of dust. And the great billionaires get buried next to the taxi drivers and the pizza makers, and we are not that big a deal.
Starting point is 00:04:56 And I think all that really matters is while we are alive, do your best to use every day as a vehicle to birth your talents into the world. And secondly, if you do that, you're going to serve the world and raise the world with you. And that all just comes from inner power. I mean, that's just deriving your power from a place within. And that's where you get grace, and that's where you get great creativity. That's where you get boundless energy because it's not about addicted to what the world thinks of you. Because when you're trying to differentiate, when you're trying to do something different,
Starting point is 00:05:28 there's going to be that gut moment, that gut sense. Is this right? Is this not right? If you're not having doubt, you're not pushing the boundaries far enough. Greatness isn't built on the days you feel good. It's not built on motivation, on bursts of inspiration, or on fleeting moments of clarity. of clarity, greatness is built in the quiet, unremarkable moments, the ones where no one's watching, where no one's clapping, where no one even knows you're putting in the work. The truth is, anyone can show up when they feel like it.
Starting point is 00:06:05 When the energy is there, when the stars align, when the path feels easy, showing up doesn't take much. But what separates those who achieve extraordinary things from those who don't is the ability to show up when it's hard, when you're tired, when you're frustrated, when you're discouraged, when you'd rather do anything else than take that next step. That's when greatness is built. Not in the moments when it's easy, but in the moments when it's not. Motivation is a myth. It's unreliable. It comes and goes. One day, you wake up ready to take on the world, and the next you can't even get out of bed.
Starting point is 00:06:50 If you wait for motivation to show up before you do, you'll spend your entire life waiting. Discipline, on the other hand, doesn't care how you feel. It doesn't care if you're tired, if you're uninspired, if you're overwhelmed. Discipline shows up anyway. Discipline says, I'm here to do the work, no matter what. And when you commit to showing up, even when you don't feel like it, Something incredible happens.
Starting point is 00:07:20 You build momentum. You prove to yourself over and over again that you can keep going even when it's hard. And that momentum? That's where transformation happens. Consistency is the secret to greatness. It's not about the big, dramatic moments. It's about the small, seemingly insignificant choices
Starting point is 00:07:46 you make every single day. Think about it. A single workout won't change your body, but showing up at the gym consistently will. Writing one page won't make you an author, but writing every day will. Taking one step forward won't get you to the finish line, but taking a step everyday will. Consistency, compounds,
Starting point is 00:08:09 it's the foundation on which everything else is built. And the people who achieve extraordinary things? They're not the ones who work hard when they feel like it. They're the ones who work hard. hard every day, regardless of how they feel. The first step to building discipline is to make showing up non-negotiable. It's not about whether you feel like it. It's not about whether the conditions are perfect. It's about committing to the process, no matter what. Set a standard for yourself. Maybe it's writing 500 words a day. Maybe it's going to the gym three times a week.
Starting point is 00:08:49 Maybe it's spending 10 minutes every morning meditating. Whatever it is, make the commitment and then honor it. When you make showing up a non-negotiable part of your life, you take the decision-making out of the equation. It's no longer about whether you want to. It's about the fact that you said you would. One of the biggest mistakes people make is focusing too much on the outcome. When the results don't come as quickly as they'd like,
Starting point is 00:09:22 they lose motivation and give up. The key to consistency is to fall in love with the process, not the result. Show up because it's who you are, not because of what you hope to achieve. Show up because you value growth, because you value commitment, because you value keeping the promises you make to yourself. The results will come, but they're a byproduct of the process, not the other way around. Discipline doesn't mean doing everything all at once. It doesn't mean overhauling your entire life overnight.
Starting point is 00:09:59 It means starting where you are with what you have and taking the smallest step forward. If you're struggling to show up, shrink the task. Can't write a chapter, write a sentence, can't do an hour-long workout, do ten minutes, can't meditate for fifteen minutes. Try five. The goal isn't perfection, it's progress. And every small step you take is a step closer to where you want to be. Discipline thrives on structure.
Starting point is 00:10:28 When you have a routine, showing up becomes automatic. You don't have to think about it. You don't have to argue with yourself. You just do it. Set a specific time and place for the things that matter to you. Make them a part of your day, like brushing your teeth or eating lunch. The more consistent you are, the more ingrained the habit becomes. is what turns dreams into reality.
Starting point is 00:11:05 It's what separates the people who talk about what they want from the people who actually make it happen. And it's something you can cultivate one small step at a time. So make the commitment to show up, even when it's hard, even when it's uncomfortable, even when it feels like nothing is happening. Because the act of showing up day after day, step after step, that's what builds greatness.
Starting point is 00:11:32 That's what changes lives. And when you look back on your journey, you won't remember the days you felt like giving up. You'll remember the days you showed up anyway. That's where the magic happens. That's where greatness is built. So, show up and keep showing up no matter what. Chaos. It's a word we use when life feels out of control.
Starting point is 00:12:03 When nothing makes sense. And you're standing in the middle of it all, wondering where. which way to turn. Chaos can be overwhelming. It can feel like the ground beneath your feet has disappeared, like the world is spinning too fast. Like no matter how hard you try, you can't catch your breath. Maybe you're in that place right now. Maybe your plans fell apart. Maybe you've lost something or someone you thought you couldn't live without. Maybe life didn't just throw you a curveball. It hit you with a storm. And in the middle of that storm, it's easy to feel lost, to feel like there's no purpose, no reason, no sense to any of it.
Starting point is 00:12:45 But here's the thing about chaos. It's not the end of your story. Chaos is uncomfortable. Yes, it's messy, painful, unpredictable, but it's also fertile ground. Because when life strips away everything you thought you knew, when it forces you to let go of the plans you clung to so tightly, It creates space. Space to rebuild. Space to grow. Space to find meaning in places you never would have looked before. The first step to finding meaning in chaos is to stop fighting it.
Starting point is 00:13:22 Stop trying to force it into order. Stop clinging to what was. Stop resisting the reality of what is. Chaos is part of life. It always has been, and it always will be. No matter how careful. Carefully you plan, no matter how hard you work, life will throw things at you that you didn't see coming. And that's not a failure. That's being human.
Starting point is 00:13:50 When you accept the chaos, you stop wasting energy on trying to control the uncontrollable. You free yourself to focus on what matters, how you respond, what you learn, and who you become in the process. Chaos doesn't just happen randomly. It's a teacher, if you're willing to learn. Every setback, every disappointment, every challenge holds a lesson. Maybe it's teaching you resilience. Maybe it's showing you what you truly value. Maybe it's pushing you to grow in ways you wouldn't have chosen on your own.
Starting point is 00:14:28 Ask yourself, what is this chaos trying to teach me? What can I learn from this experience? The answers won't always come right away. But when you start looking for the lessons, you'll begin to see that even in the messiest, most painful moments, there's something to be gained. Here's the truth. Chaos doesn't come with meaning built in.
Starting point is 00:14:56 It's not going to hand you a neatly wrapped lesson or a clear sense of purpose. Meaning isn't something you find. It's something you create. in the middle of the storm, you get to decide what this moment will mean to you. You get to decide whether it will break you or build you. Whether it will be the chapter where you gave up or the chapter where you rose. Maybe the chaos in your life right now is an opportunity to let go of something that wasn't serving you.
Starting point is 00:15:35 Maybe it's a chance to rediscover who you are without the labels, the expectations, the expectation. The plans you thought you needed. Maybe it's the push you needed to step into a new chapter, even if you're scared of what comes next. The meaning isn't out there waiting for you. It's inside you, waiting to be created. In times of chaos, it's easy to feel powerless. Like life is happening to you, and there's nothing you can do about it.
Starting point is 00:16:05 But even in the most uncertain times, there are things you can control. You can control your attitude. You can control your attitude, your effort, your choices. You can control how you show up, even when the world feels like it's falling apart. Trust that the chaos in your life right now is part of a bigger picture, one that you can't fully see yet, but one that's being painted nonetheless. Trust that the struggles you're facing now are shaping you into someone stronger, wiser, more resilient.
Starting point is 00:16:40 chaos thrives in the unknown, and the unknown is scary because it's unpredictable, but it's also full of possibility. When life doesn't go according to plan, it creates room for something new, something you might not have chosen, but something that could turn out to be exactly what you needed. Let go of the need to have all the answers, embrace the uncertainty, and remember that some of the best things in life come from the moments when everything seemed to fall apart. Chaos isn't comfortable, but it's where transformation begins.
Starting point is 00:17:21 It's where old patterns are broken, where new possibilities emerge, where you discover what you're truly capable of. So if you're in the middle of chaos right now, don't give up, don't let it break you. Look for the lessons, create your own meaning. And trust that this moment, as hard as it is, is part of something bigger. You are stronger than the chaos.
Starting point is 00:17:51 You are bigger than the storm. And when the dust settles, you'll see that this wasn't the end. It was the beginning of something extraordinary. Let the chaos shape you, not define you. Let it teach you, not defeat you. And let it remind you that even in the messiest moments, there is still purpose to be found. The storm may rage, but so do you.
Starting point is 00:18:30 We're all participating in this thing called life. All of us. Life has ever flows. Mountain tops. It's got valleys. It's got thunderstorms in it, earthquakes. This life, stop expecting it to go smooth. Because it ain't fin to go smooth.
Starting point is 00:18:50 The road to success is always under construction. This life ain't set up to be smooth. I get it. you don't feel like it. You don't know if it's worse. And you know that if you do it today, you still have to do it tomorrow, and you still have to do it every day after that.
Starting point is 00:19:12 It's overwhelming, I know. But every day that you do it, you get a little bit closer from the place that you actually want to be. You get closer to the person you actually want to be. The fact that it is painful is the reason that it's working. Everybody else that has to be. else that has to try and step out into this new life faces this same thing too.
Starting point is 00:19:35 Every single person does. That's why most people don't do it. This is what hard feels like and this is why most people don't win. So continuing to push through and almost seeing that level of discomfort as a signal, it's like a way marker that's been planted in the ground because if it was all just super easy, well, how are you going to get anything different to what everybody else has got if you do the same thing that everybody else does? Do you know what it takes to be a champion?
Starting point is 00:20:05 Working hard every single day without the promise that your hard work will actually pay off. With the only guarantee being sweat and exhaustion. Here's something more, that goal you're chasing after doesn't favor you over anyone else. That's why you need to pay attention to the process rather than the product. Who is this champion that's being built? That is possible. If you tell yourself enough times that it's possible, it can be possible. But imagine every single day instead of saying, oh, my day sucks.
Starting point is 00:20:36 Instead of getting up and being like, oh, life is terrible. Imagine your entire mindset was just like, it's possible to get to that next level. It's possible to be great. It's possible to be more healthy. In your entire perspective on life, your world is positive. Even if you have to lie yourself into believing that. You can be fearful. You can't be afraid.
Starting point is 00:20:56 The coward and the hero feel the same exact emotion when confronted with a situation. It's just how do you. act in response to the fear. The coward is like, I look this, run. The hero is like, okay, I see you. I know you there. Here's how I'm going to handle this. You know, the fact that life is short and can be brutal, can terrify you into hiding and avoiding. But it can also, you can flip that on its head and understand that since you're all in anyways, you might as well take the risks that are adventurous. When you were born, you are a phenomenon, you are unique. Your DNA has never occurred in the history of the universe, going back billions of years, it will never occur in the future.
Starting point is 00:21:48 Your life experiences with your parents and everything that you experience in your early years going on up is unique. It's yours. You're one of a kind, right? So that is your source of power. To waste that is just the worst thing you can do in your life. And what the power is, is finding that uniqueness. What makes you you, you, and how you can mind that, how you can go deep into it and use that. So many people die with untapped potential because they think that someone else is better than them.
Starting point is 00:22:23 And they were born, you know, not with the greatest tools. You don't need shit. You need the ability to grind your ass into a fine, in powder. If we need that fine powder, find a way to build that motherfucker back up repeatedly, then it's possible. If you hide and you don't let what's inside of you out and you don't bring into the world what you could bring and you become cynical and bitter, you will start doing very dark things. Not only will you not add to the world what you could add, but you will start being jealous of people who are competent and doing well and work to destroy them. That's
Starting point is 00:23:04 the pathway to hell. Success is the ability to go from failure to failure to failure without a loss of enthusiasm. But that's going to be up to you because there's not going to be anybody there to encourage you, to coach you, to push you on. You have to do it yourself. People don't burn out because of what they do. People burn out because life makes them forget why they do it. Like the passion that they first had when they said, man, I'm with you. I'm going to give you everything I got. Whether that be sports, whether that be business, whether that be a family. I just want people to never allow life to make them forget why they do what they do.
Starting point is 00:23:48 Right? To never allow life to rob you of your passion. To never allow life to rob you of your joy, your peace, your happiness. I say chase your dreams, man. Do that thing, man, that keeps you up at night. That thing that bothers you, man, that makes you trip. You can't quit thinking about it. You always, that thing, man, that you wake up in the middle of the night, you got a new idea.
Starting point is 00:24:14 That's what you got to chase. Who is this champion with nothing more than a burning desire in their heart to prove to no one other than themselves? I have what it takes. And if you're sitting there wondering, am I that champion? Let me put it this way. You decided to listen to motivational audios rather than music. You decided to listen to motivational audios rather than mindless. background noise. Whether you're in the gym, on the bus, just waking up, or lying on your bed,
Starting point is 00:24:49 getting your thoughts together, you made the choice to pick something that would keep you in the fight. These are the receipts you need to remember because they will remind you of who you truly are, a champion. We'll get to where you want in life, just not in the way you imagine. And that's because the path that's paved is far different to the path we paved. Just don't let anyone tell you what you can or cannot do or can or cannot achieve. Just don't allow it. Just do not allow it. Be whatever you want to be.
Starting point is 00:25:36 Stop tying your value and worth to external achievements. How much money you make, the position at your company, what kind of car you drive. Your value must be leaked to something greater than material themes that can disappear overnight. greater than what the world defines as success. Instead of looking out here for validation about your value, look internally. Look at your heart. Look at your intentions.
Starting point is 00:26:08 Look how far you've come. Get your idea of your value and worth from that. It will free you in so many ways. Stop looking out here for your worth and value. Look inside and look up. We believe that the biggest obstacle we have to overcome is out there, and many times the call is coming from inside of our own house. I think that the worst enemy that many people have is the voice that's inside of their own head. Now, this voice has probably maybe come from the outside world, but we've now internalized it.
Starting point is 00:26:45 You know, we have become our own worst enemy in some regards. You have to stay busy. You have to find yourself now. You have to find out who you are. And it's going to take effort, man. I hate to tell you that because I know it's probably going to be hard sometimes, but you can do it. How I keep positive I would say is,
Starting point is 00:27:07 every time it gets tough, when I feel like I don't want to do it, there is someone out there in this world laying on the hospital bed begging for a second chance at life. I don't think I have any excuse to not go hard. It's easy to give up. It's the easiest thing in the world to do, I'm done.
Starting point is 00:27:28 But what's hard is going, yo, yesterday, I got nothing from working as hard as I could. Nothing happened from that. I'm going to do the same thing again today, but I'm going to try to go harder. That's the hardest thing in the world. And give 100% and be in the same position that you were each day, but mentally know that you're trying and trying and trying. That's a real, that's a real grind. Your current situation is not your final destination. There's more to your life.
Starting point is 00:27:59 And I know right now it's hard for you to believe that, but I need you to believe it. Like everything you're currently facing is building you for something greater. You're more than your struggles. You're more than your pain. I know you feel like nobody understands you. Nobody gets you.
Starting point is 00:28:14 I know you feel alone and isolated to flood your life with appreciation. Even for the little things, the small things, for breath in your body, for your heartbeat. Because appreciation is the first step to elevate in your life. So I want to tell you, I'm proud of you for not giving up when it's so easy to. Your work ethic reflects your gratitude, which ultimately lead to your results. The grateful person shows up early.
Starting point is 00:28:38 The grateful person gives full effort. The grateful person asks several questions. Look around you, and you can tell those who are grateful by their work ethic. Those who are great in any profession, understand it starts with the understanding that you are capable of going from nothing to everything. But here's the thing that if you have a very clear vision and you're absolutely convinced and have the faith in your vision, then all the work that you need to do becomes easier
Starting point is 00:29:11 because there's a purpose for it. Haven't you imagined a better life? Okay, who you think he showed it to? He showed it to you. Why you think he showed it to you? want to give it to you. But if you don't work, if you don't ask him for it, he cannot give it to you because he created us with the power of choice. It's not okay for you to be a weak loser. It's not okay. And the reason it's not okay is because you could be way more than that. And it's a crime,
Starting point is 00:29:45 an ethical crime, for you to allow all that necessary potential to go to way to way. It hurts you, it hurts your family, it hurts the world. Really, really, it does. There are two types of pain, the pain of action and the pain of inaction. The pain of action is blunt, in your face, and forces you to grow. For every hour we suffer through sharpening our skills, being proactive, and restoring order. We don't reduce the amount of pain we face, but rather we take it on the chin. We sign up for it up front.
Starting point is 00:30:23 And because of this voluntary, we don't reduce the amount of pain we face, but rather we take it on the chin. And because of this voluntary, we don't do it face, we don't do we face. acceptance day after day we gain the strength to shoulder it by embracing pain instead of running from it we are simultaneously transformed by it we become someone we are proud of someone that others can depend upon which in turn gives meaning to the pain and it's this feeling of growth and progress that helps us feel useful to ourselves useful to others which gives the suffering purpose I don't think anyone who suffered a tragedy that has gotten through it
Starting point is 00:30:55 in some way will tell you I needed to find deeper meaning in my life. Once something has happened that is a tragic event, a loss, a death, or anything that is a setback, some people numb themselves. But that doesn't mean the pain's not there, it just means you're not feeling it. Tragedy is just too strong, too powerful
Starting point is 00:31:14 for the mind to fathom, let's be honest. The mind cannot deal with it. So you have to go deeper than the mind. And the place that's deeper than the mind is love, faith, hope, meaning, a purpose. And that's what you hold on to for your dear life. You can just forge your head. Some days they're going to be harder and some will be easier. Sometimes it's very painful. And if you can move from one day to the next, you get stronger, whether you know it or not.
Starting point is 00:31:40 And ultimately what will emerge is a new person, a person that you'll see that you went through the fire and you become a more powerful person in the process. And you need to understand that for 90% of the journey, you will not see the port. But you can trust that if you do the right actions, you'll eventually get there. And it's the same thing with life. You must understand that most of the time you won't see the fruit of your labor for an extended period of time. But then, once you get the 99%, you begin to see the port of destination, the port of arrival, and then you catch the second wind to maximize on the momentum.
Starting point is 00:32:24 For 99% of the journey where most of you guys are at right now, you will not see the port of destination, but you must trust it. But what if things work out and everything turns out better than you imagined? What if things change? Life has a funny way of unfolding sometimes. So don't give up. Wake up every single day, knowing that you're one step away from success. Anything is possible if you're willing to work for it. Just stick with it a little longer. What do you have to lose? Study yourself, make yourself better. Don't worry about what anybody else is doing.
Starting point is 00:33:00 Learn from them. Don't change who you are to become somebody else. Think about the time that you spend in your life trying to be somebody you're not. If you put that time and effort and energy into being who you were and who you are, how much farther along would you be in life? Six months. You got six months left in the year. Why don't you take those six months and donate that time to your future self? Why don't you commit to something that you're going to thank yourself for doing six months from today?
Starting point is 00:33:32 Because when January 1st rolls around, you can either be six months closer to your goals or you can be exactly where you are right now, if not a little further away. You can either get to January 1st and be so pissed off about what you did the previous six months that you feel like you have to change your whole personality with a whole list of resolutions, or you can get to January 1st and have things be going so well that you feel like you don't have to change anything at all. Consistency compounds. When consistency compounds, you get a good life. Many times people want to rush.
Starting point is 00:34:04 They want to accelerate the journey. But they don't understand that the journey is life long. There is no end goal. there is no end destination. You are in this journey from the moment you were born until you die. So today is just another what brick that you're laying to build your ideal house. What's that deep moody reason? So when fear shows up, when failure shows up, when haters show up, when the numbers ain't going right show up, what's going to keep you committed? What's going to keep you consistent? You've been consistent in a lot of stuff in life. Are you trying to say that you can't be
Starting point is 00:34:36 consistent at something that you love? You can't be consistent at your dreams. You can't be consistent at something that means the world to you, you make consistent at the wrong things, you make insisting at pleasing people, you make insistent at working for somebody else, and you're telling me you can't bring that same energy to what you call it to do, come on. I'm gonna tell you this, bro,
Starting point is 00:34:56 there is no getting out of the work. There's no shortcuts, there is no easy route, and there is no quick fix to becoming the greatest version of your cell. The longer that you avoid the hard work, the more comfortable you get in life. It's stay comfortable in the depression, stay comfortable in the situation that you're in right now.
Starting point is 00:35:16 Because when you're comfortable, you lose motivation. You lose focus. You lose sight of your goals. You lose sight of where you want to be at in life. You have the ability to make those changes. There is no difference between you and successful people. The difference is what they do. Your life is created by what you do.
Starting point is 00:35:36 Your daily habits. Your daily habits determine what your life is going to look like. Who you surround yourself. where determines what you're like is going to live like. That tomorrow wouldn't promise, what would you give for today? Forget everything else. Forget everything else.
Starting point is 00:35:57 Forget that there was any sunlight left. What would you spend today? Think about we get one opportunity in their life. More chance than I am to do whatever you're going to do, to lay your foundation to make whatever all of all. me whatever hard we will make. Whatever legacy you will leave.
Starting point is 00:36:18 Leave your legacy. And it's filed through Apple. Where's the only comes to die with us? But Edward knows I teach you, Jeff. As Edward is between you and you. Everyone has got her to do with nobody else. Pain of discipline or the pain of regret. Go for the discipline because it weighs ounces.
Starting point is 00:36:45 the regret waste tons. 95% of our decisions are made by how you feel in the moment. And that is the problem. Do you feel like making that cold call? No, you don't. Do you feel like doing that third set of reps? No, you don't. And if you accept the fact that you may never feel ready
Starting point is 00:37:06 and you may never feel motivated and you may never feel courageous and that's okay, but you can still push yourself forward as you start to see yourself becoming the person that takes action, guess what happens? to build the skill of confidence and courage. You think that everything the mind tells you, I need to follow.
Starting point is 00:37:25 That means freedom. No, for us, it's the other way around. To learn and not follow what the mind tells you. This is the first step towards freedom. You have to constantly rewrite your book every day of your life. These are conversations. myself and I say it everywhere I go the most important conversation when you have with yourself you live with it every single day but most of our conversations are not the right ones
Starting point is 00:37:58 they're not the ones that are going to push us to the place we need to go through the ones that are going to keep us sitting in that toxic environment that you've helped create and everybody else help to create and you just live in it and that conversation this plays in your head and that becomes you working on yourself talking to yourself that's so good very important. Overcoming the negative conversation that inner dialogue is going on all the time, all the time. Even when you don't want it to be there, you can't stop yourself right now from thinking. You can't do it. It's going on. And so learning how to empower yourself. Part of doing that is standing up to yourself. You get scared sometimes. Your mind will go blank on you. Some people you will allow
Starting point is 00:38:41 to unnerve you. And you wonder, what's wrong with me? I'm like crazy. That's why you've got to to make a conscious, deliver, determine effort, to stand up inside yourself, working on yourself, watching that inner dialogue, it will determine the quality of your life. People don't want to hear this, but what you avoid controls you. If you avoid tough conversations, your relationship suffer.
Starting point is 00:39:09 If you avoid risk, your business will suffer. If you avoid failure, your growth will suffer. If you think having uncomfortable conversations is hard, wait until see the result of not having comfortable conversations, much harder. At least for me, I just try and face the thing that I'm avoiding and constantly ask myself, like, what is that thing that I'm trying not to look at and then force myself to stare at it? Because usually the thing that scares you the most is the thing that you need most to face to move forward. People always talk about vision, seeing your vision,
Starting point is 00:39:43 seeing somebody else's vision, other people seeing your vision. Let me tell you something. Before you could see your vision before anybody else could see a vision, the first thing they have to do is deal with what's visiting them in their nightmares. That you have to deal with before you or anybody else can see your vision. He said the ideal situation for a man or woman to die is to have family members praying with them as they cross over. He said, but imagine if you will be, on your deathbed and standing around your bed, the ghost of the dreams, the ideas, the abilities, the talents given to you by life and that you for whatever reason, you never went after that dream, you never acted on those ideas, you never used those talents, you never used those gifts,
Starting point is 00:40:43 and there they are standing around your bed looking at you with large angry eyes saying, we came to you and only you could have given us life and now we must die with you forever and the question is if you died today what dreams what ideas what talents what books what music what leadership what voice will die with you said the wealth is placed in the planet it's not in a four east where there's oil on the ground. It's not a South Africa way that diamondized. He said, the wealth is placed on the planet is the cemetery. Because there you'll find greatness if we've never seen. There you'll find talent, ingenious, and potential never actualized. Maybe that's why some unknown writer wrote the words, what if you live your whole life only to discover
Starting point is 00:41:38 that it was wrong, that it was wrong, that you were chosen to do something in. else and you didn't do it. You want to know the secret to achieving everything that you dream about, don't quit. See, when you know what the destination is, there's a million paths to get there. And it took me a long time to learn that the greatest moments of growth and success happen right after you feel like quitting, but you don't. That's the secret. Keep going.
Starting point is 00:42:19 If you're trying to do something exceptional, if you're trying to do something that's difficult, you don't get the luxury of kind of wanting to do it. If you kind of want to do it, you're going to lose because you're not just competing against people who kind of want it. You're not competing against people who want it bad, but you're competing against people who need to do it. You're competing against people who have their back against the wall who have no other choice but to succeed.
Starting point is 00:42:45 That's your competition. And so if you're sitting around here saying, oh, well, you know, I want to do it, but Like, I have this to do when that to do. It's over. You're not going to win. The guy that has his back to the wall is going to destroy you. Losing strips away your ego. It forces you to face the parts of yourself that need work
Starting point is 00:43:05 and the truths you've been unwilling to accept. But losing isn't the end of your story. It's where the real work begins. The chance to analyze the cracks in your foundation and build something stronger. Growth happens when you fall flat. feel exposed and have to decide whether you'll rise again. The lesson is in the loss. The win is in the comeback.
Starting point is 00:43:32 If you want to go big, you can't run from failure because it's a ticket to every breakthrough you've been chasing. If you're seeing this, that means you're not dead. And if you're not dead, that means you woke up today. And if you woke up today, that means you were handed a goddamn gift. because others weren't lucky enough to get that gift. And some took their last breath last night. So today, you're not wasting the day.
Starting point is 00:44:01 You're making it count because you know you're not getting it back. So you're not taking it for granted. Today, you're doing something today that makes you happy. You've put it off long enough. Stop being scared what others think about you. You're not in high school anymore. So act like it.
Starting point is 00:44:17 And grow up. Their opinions, they don't matter. It's your life, not theirs. Today is your day. So make the day count. Do something today that makes you happy. Because you may not be lucky enough to get the gift of tomorrow.
