So let me get this straight. Every time you faced something that felt impossible, every time you thought you'd reached your limit, you got through it, you found a way, even if it was messy, even if you didn't know how you'd do it. And yet, here you are. Back in the same place, doubting yourself all over again. Why? Why are you letting fear and self-doubt hold you hostage again? You're sitting here, watching this, because something inside you knows.
you're stronger than the doubt that's screaming in your head.
Deep down, you know it.
But somewhere along the line, you stopped trusting yourself.
You forgot who you are.
So, let me remind you, you've already succeeded before, and you'll succeed again.
I need you to listen closely because I'm not here to sugar-coated.
Your track record doesn't lie.
Look at your life.
Look at everything you've been through, every single obstacle you've overcome.
Do you really think those weird?
happens by chance. Every single time you faced a challenge that felt like it was going to
break you, you found a way through. And every single time, you walked away stronger. So why,
when you face a new challenge? Do you let that doubt creep back in? Why do you let fear convince
you that this time it's different? That this time you might not make it. That's a lie. Fear lies.
Self-doubt is just fear whispering in your ear, trying to pull you back.
But here's what you need to remember.
You've built a history of proving that fear of wrong.
I want you to understand something.
Struggle you're facing right now.
It's not the first.
It won't be the last.
And yet, here you are.
Acting like it's insurmountable.
Acting like this is somehow different from every other challenge you've faced before.
But here's the truth.
The only thing that's changed is you're letting fear get a little too loud.
You can lie to yourself all you want.
Let's be real.
You're tougher than this.
You're sitting here listening to these words
because you're looking for a spark
to wake up that version of you who doesn't quit,
that version of you who fights tooth and nail,
who doesn't back down when things get hard.
And I'm telling you,
it's time to stop looking for permission to quit.
believe in yourself. You've earned the right to trust yourself. Think about it. Every single time
you've been done, every time you thought, I don't know if I can do this. You did. Didn't matter how deep
the hole was, how dark things got. You found a way. So why are you questioning yourself again?
Why are you letting the same fears hold you back when you've crushed them before? Every new challenge
feels like it's too big, like it's the one that'll finally be.
you, but it's not. You've faced monsters before, and you came out stronger. Stop acting like
this time is any different. Stop giving yourself excuses to quit. Listen, your track record is Iron
Clan. It doesn't lie. Look back at everything you've been through. Those weren't flukes. Those were
real victories built on your resilience, your grit. You didn't get lucky. You fought for every single
win. But here you are thinking that just because you're scared, you're somehow not capable.
Let me tell you something. Fear is just a feeling. It's only as real as you make it. You've been
scared before and it didn't stop you then. So why the um are you letting it stop you now? Look at your
life. Every scar you carry, every failure, every heartbreak. That's proof that you can take the
hits and keep going. And here's the brutal truth. If you don't use those most, you don't use those most
moments to fuel you, to remind yourself of your strength, then you're the one holding yourself back.
Not fear, not doubt, you. Here's the reality about life. It doesn't care how afraid you are.
Life is going to keep throwing curveballs and it doesn't care if you're ready. There's no way to predict what's coming next.
No man, no cheat sheet. And that's exactly why fear tries to trick you into freezing up.
But here's the thing. You don't need to know the future to trust yourself. You don't need to see what's around the
to be confident that whatever it is, you'll handle it. People love to say, but what if I fail?
So, let me turn that around for you. What if you don't? What if this is the step that takes you
to a level you can't even imagine right now? What if this is the moment that makes you? Because
every single victory you've had so far came from one thing. So now, ask yourself, why wouldn't you
succeed this time? Why wouldn't you win again? The truth is, life is going to keep testing you.
days when you feel like giving up is the only logical choice.
Moments when the weight of it all feels like it's too much.
And that's when your excuses start sounding real, like maybe quitting is the smart moon.
But deep down, you know better.
You don't get to where you want to go by letting fear run the show.
You don't build the life you want by giving up every time things get tough.
Every time you're at your limit.
Every time you feel stretched beyond what you can handle.
That's where the real growth happens.
And I promise you the doubt you feel today.
When you look back, it's going to feel small compared to the strength you found to overcome
it.
But you have to be willing to go through the fire.
You have to be willing to trust yourself enough to keep going.
So here's the hard truth.
You either let fear win or you show up and remind yourself of what you're made of.
Tomorrow, when that doubt creeps back in, when that fear tries to make you play small, I want
you to look in the mirror and say, I've done it before, and I'll do it again, and say it like you mean.
Because it's the truth. Here's the secret. The power isn't in never feeling fear. It's in acting
anyway. It's in recognizing that you've been through worse, and that no matter what, you're going to
show up and push forward. You've been tested before, and every single time, you proved yourself.
So stop questioning your strength and start using it.
You're not just a survivor, you're a warrior.
You've fought, you've won, and now it's time to do it again.
So, if this message has lit something in you,
if you're ready to step up and stop playing small,
then this is just the beginning.
More ways to break through your limits.
More ways to unlock the power that's been in you all along.
You've already proven yourself.
Now it's time to trust yourself.
You're here for a reason and this isn't the end.
It's only the beginning.
Where you are now is just a reflection of your past thoughts, your past thinking.
So if you want to change your future, you've got to change your thoughts now and then put them into action.
One of my most powerful motivational frames is thinking about the person that I want to become as the destination.
Life is shorter than you think, okay, you're 25 and you're thinking, wow, I've got 10 years to figure it all that.
I've got all these vistas of time.
I'm young, I'm healthy, et cetera.
You don't have nearly as much time as you think you do.
It goes very fast.
So you need a sense of urgency and energy.
If you have lost friends during the process of the climb,
I don't think it is something that you should lament or be upset about.
I think that it is a sign of growth.
Because a lot of people say, hey, you've changed.
And the only natural response that I could have to that is you have it.
Champions mindset, I think a lot of people hear the word champion.
They think of a famous sports star, but we think of it differently.
We think of it as, well, when you get on the field, put everything you have into it.
Put every ounce of energy you have on the field.
Leave nothing on the field.
And two, when you get knocked down, when you see hard times and you get knocked down, get back up.
And if you keep putting everything you got into it and you keep getting back up when you get knocked down, it's almost impossible to fail.
Anything in life that you put your mind to, you can do.
The world is your oyster.
That's all I tell people.
Why are you on earth?
You got to take advantage of this.
Effortless is a myth.
I mean it.
I say that someone who has heard that word a lot.
I didn't get where I got them pure talent alone.
I got there by trying to outwork my opponents.
I believe in myself, but belief in yourself has to be earned.
Most of the time, it's not about having a gift.
It's about having grit.
The truth is, whatever game you play in life,
sometimes you're going to lose.
A point, a match, a season, a job.
It's a roller coaster with many ups and downs.
And it's natural when you're going to lose.
when you're down to doubt yourself.
But negative energy is wasted energy.
You want to become a master at overcoming hard moments.
I'm here to tell you from the other side
that leaving a familiar world behind
and finding new ones is incredibly, deeply, wonderfully exciting.
Very few people are going to tell you this,
but growth hurts.
Becoming the best version of yourself comes with a lot of goodbyes.
Sadly, the only way
The only way for some people to learn to appreciate you is to lose you.
You have to stop surrounding yourself with toxic people because you're lonely.
It's really fucking uncomfortable, but you need to do it if you want to grow.
The pain that you feel today, though, is going to be the power that you're going to feel tomorrow.
Whether you do, whether you don't, they're still going to talk about you.
At gatherings, they whisper about you if you're making moves or you're standing still.
So honestly, I've come to realize in life, just do you, just do what you want to do.
Let them talk.
Your thoughts create your life, and so you have to think positive thoughts all the time.
You have to force yourself to think positive thoughts at times.
You need to understand and believe that you can do anything you want, that we are truly limitless.
There really are no limits.
The only limits are the ones that you put on yourself, the ones that you create in your mind.
You want to be great.
You need to break the rules.
Forget about being normal.
The ones who don't get it will call you extreme and crazy.
Put yourself out there.
Take risks.
Let them doubt you and say that it will never work.
What do they know anyway?
You don't need to fit in with the crowd.
Just do your thing.
It's time to show them what you knew all along.
Your outcome in life is a result of your work.
and the quality of your work reflects your belief system.
Do you believe?
Do you believe that you're the one?
Do you believe that you're chosen for this purpose, for this vision?
That will dictate your outcome.
That will dictate how hard you work.
What is your mission and cause?
And how deeply emotionally are you connected to it right now?
There's a level of influence that goes beyond any technique or tactics somebody could teach you.
It also gives you the energy to fight through adversity and struggle.
It overcomes adversity.
It overcomes pain and fear and worry and angst and let down.
So I ask you again, what's your purpose?
What's your reason?
What's your why?
What's your cause?
What's your mission?
I challenge you right now to just write that down in two, three, four sentences,
just to reconnect to it.
Keep it close to you all week.
Before you go to bed at night, reconnect to that purpose.
I think the deeper we can embed our purpose and our heart and our spirit,
the more that we can transfer that energy to people.
At some point, you have to grow up.
and be an adult.
If your life is going to change,
you have to be the one to change it.
You can't blame anybody else anymore.
Your life is where it is because you created it
to be the way that it is.
It's no one else's fault but your own.
If you want to keep playing the victim,
you can go for it, but it's going to cost you
the life that you want.
Life is not easy.
It is not.
Don't try to make it that way.
Life's not fair.
It never was.
It is it now and it won't ever be.
Do not fall into the trap.
the entitlement trap, a feeling like you're a victim.
You are not.
Get over it and get on with me.
I dare you to stop fucking around
and dedicate the next six months of your life
exclusively to your goals.
Don't announce it to anyone.
Don't tell anyone.
Don't post it on social media.
Just disappear and do the work
and then reemerge in six months
a completely different person.
I say chase your dreams, man.
do that thing, man, that keeps you up at night.
That thing that bothers you, man, that makes you trip.
You can't quit thinking about it.
You always, you wake up in the middle of the night, you got a new idea.
That's what you got to chase.
Because anything else, it's going to disappoint you.
I would hate to die and never do the thing I was born to do.
Your brain will tell you to give up.
Your brain is a predicting machine, so it wants certainty,
giving up is certain.
So in that moment,
brain's going to tell you
that it's easier to give up.
But if we're really honest with ourselves,
the greatest discomfort of all
is living with this feeling inside
that you're not living the life you're meant for.
If you keep up your present disciplines
and keep up the present pace that you're on,
where will you be in five years?
It's easy to say, hey, I haven't really thought about that.
So now make this note.
In five years, here's the probability.
You will either arrive at a well-designed destination or an undesigned destination or an undesigned.
And I promise you five years or no, you really don't want to arrive at an undesigned destination.
Because you may very well wind up wearing what you don't want to wear, driving what you don't want to drive, maybe doing what you don't want to do.
simply because you didn't design a better destination.
If you don't develop simply the ability to get up when you said you would,
to eat what you said you would, to exercise because you said you would,
to talk in a way to your kids that's patient because you said you would,
you will never have the self-confidence to succeed in any environment.
You won't.
You don't need to have everything figured out to start improving your life.
Everyone looks for the exact formula to transform into their ideal self.
You don't need the exact formula.
You honestly don't even really need to know who your ideal self is.
You just need to know what to do today in order to wake up a better person tomorrow.
You'll never be as young as you are right now.
Don't wait to do shit.
The time is now.
Everyone knows this old quote of the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago.
The second best time is today.
And there's lots of things that you probably wish that you did 10 years ago.
Lots of things that you probably think, oh, I'm too old to do now.
And these are once again all limitations because you are the youngest that you're ever going to be today.
Your days are going to pass regardless.
This whole week, this whole next week, whether you can slack off or if you really push it, the time is just going to pass.
So this time, you got so much of it and it's just rushing away.
So, I mean, it's up to you.
I'm not, if the time is gonna pass anyway,
I think it's worth it to at least try to do something.
It's cool.
Self-love means taking care of your own needs
and not sacrificing them all the time
just to please other people.
Too many of us, including myself and maybe you,
will sacrifice our own needs, what we really need in our life,
just to please other people, not to inconvenience them,
not to make them uncomfortable.
You know, maybe what you need to do is really pursue
that dream you have right now,
but you're not doing a business
because you don't want to make the people around you uncomfortable.
Don't sacrifice your own needs just to please other people.
That is not a form of self-love.
Ask what they should do as if it's some sort of mystery.
The fact is, you know, the true separator between progress and stagnation
is the action taken on the simple things that are right in front of you.
If you want to be in a life that is full of equanimity,
equanimity means the calmness of the soul,
and a life that is full of peace,
you need to be here now focusing on what you can control.
Not focused on the future, but focus on what you can do today.
And by natural law, for every action, there's an equal and opposite reaction.
The universe will give you exactly what you deserve.
Don't live a life of misery by living in the past or living in the future,
but live a life of peace and equanimity by being here right now.
You are getting through everything you're going through.
I just want you to give yourself some credit right now.
Like you are literally getting through everything you're going through.
No matter what's going on in your life is not permanent.
Everything is going to change.
It takes courage to be successful.
It is far easier not to be successful.
Misery will always have company.
Success breeds contempt.
If you don't want to make waves, be mediocre.
Be normal and fit in.
One thing is for sure. I feel that I had the power to create my own destiny.
I try to visualize every single thing in my life, not only believe it, but really feel it with every cell in my body.
And I just want to send a message out there to every young person.
Be in the present moment. Forget about what happened in the past.
Future is something that is just going to happen.
But if you want a better future, you create it.
You got to come out of with that whatever it takes mindset.
I don't care what I have to go through.
I don't care who hurts me, who leaves me.
I'm going to do whatever it takes to become the person that I was meant to be.
I'm going to do whatever it takes to win.
I'm going to do whatever it takes to get my family in a better situation.
You've got to bet on you.
You believe in everybody else.
You clap for everybody else.
You support everybody else.
But when are you going to look in the mirror and believe in the darn person you see?
It's about time for you to believe in you because you've got it.
You are already enough.
And once you can fully accept who you are and where you are, it allows you to navigate
where you're going so much easier instead of feeling like, I'm not enough until I achieve this
thing.
I'm not enough until I get this person.
My self-worth is in this external thing.
No, your self-worth is right here.
It's rooted within you.
Never regret making a decision you thought would make you happy, but it didn't.
Never blame yourself for things you did that you thought would change your life.
but it ended up not working out.
You should be proud that you had the courage to give it a try.
Not many people have that inside of them.
Every experience taught you something valuable.
Don't give up now because everything is leading you to where you need to be.
Don't walk through the world looking for evidence that you don't belong
because you will always find it.
Don't walk through the world looking for evidence that you're not enough because you'll always find it.
Our worth and our belonging are not negotiated with other people.
We carry those inside of our hearts.
Growth demands a temporary surrender of security.
It may mean a giving up of familiar but limiting patterns, safe but unrewarding work,
beliefs no longer believed in, relationships that have lost their meaning,
and files that cannot take me to the next level of living.
Growth means change.
When there's something in your heart that keeps coming up for you,
Something that you really want to see happen, whether again it's personal or it may be connected to others, that's there because it's your internal guidance system nudging you towards the change that you're here to make.
And when any of us hold back from that and play small, first of all, we're miserable.
Second of all, we're wasting the gifts that were on this planet to give.
Life is too short to let your happiness depend on how someone else treats you.
Don't put your happiness in their hands.
You can't control what they do, but you can control what you do.
Keep your walls up.
You have a destiny to fulfill.
There's an assignment for you to accomplish.
You can't be your best if you're upset, offended, trying to pay people back.
Let it go.
Get up.
Move towards that challenge, whatever that challenge is.
Move towards that challenge and go attack it.
And you may be successful.
and you may not be successful, but you will be better.
And the next challenge, you're going to be more prepared for.
And the next challenge after that, you're going to be even more prepared for.
And you're going to fail, and you're going to fail, and you're going to fail, and you're going to fail, and you're going to win.
And that's life.
Life without those challenges, it's existence.
Don't just exist.
If we give you misery and pain and discomfort,
and torture, that this will help you for the rest of your life.
It's almost kind of like an investment.
Because from then on, you say, you say, okay, now things don't bother me.
You're making a big mistake to always look for comfort.
Because comfort is the evil of everything.
Comfort is not good.
Looking for the easy way out is not good.
You say, we've got to go and confront kind of resistance,
And it's like Nietzsche said, that what does not kill you will make his trauma.
Higher you go, the higher the price, the higher you go, the heart of the price.
When people don't reach their potential, it's not because they lack the opportunity,
it's not because they lacked time, it's not that they lacked ability.
They don't reach their potential because they were unwilling to pay another price.
It doesn't matter what challenges it is that you are.
facing there. It is the fundamental principle behind it that you do not run away, that you are open
for everything that is being thrown at you. It is this type of mindset to also understand,
I didn't ask for easy life. If nothing changes, nothing changes. And yet, somehow we expect things to
change. You think you're going to get better shape. You think you're going to get more money.
You think your relationship is going to improve. You think you're going to get promoted.
You think you're going to get a raise.
Nothing is going to change unless you change what you're doing.
You're playing the game.
You're playing to win.
There's no limit.
You don't stop.
You don't ever stop.
I'm on a journey.
I'm nowhere near coming to the enemy.
People with small visions think we've made it.
You've got to look at that little light coming down the tunnel and convince yourself
it's not a train coming towards you.
So you never, ever stop.
Because if the day you stop, you're weak,
And the day you're weak, you want me a success.
Don't half acid.
Well, that never goes out of style, does it?
I mean, think about it, if you're going to do something,
if you've chosen to do something, whatever it is, easy, hard.
If you give it your all and you don't half acid,
win, lose, draw, get what you want, don't get what you want,
whatever the outcome is, if you don't half asset,
at least you're not going to have to wonder,
ooh, would the outcome have been different?
What if I did give it my awe?
And boy, wondering that is what keeps us up at night.
Don't do beautiful work for the applies.
The applause will come as a byproduct.
Do your most beautiful work.
Work hard on it.
Calibrate it.
Make it magic.
See your work as part of a magic shop for what it introduces you to within yourself.
Stop trying to make everything happen right now.
It doesn't work that way.
Instead of seeing daily progress for what it is, you're trying to make it happen overnight.
Most of your problems aren't even problems.
You're just playing short-term games in a long-term world.
For you to get something you want, you have to earn it.
You have to be tested and come out the other side stronger.
Be patient with yourself.
Your time is coming soon.
If life was nothing but green lights and we didn't have yellows and reds, things that make us pause, hardships,
It's crises, times for introspection, then what the hell would it all be for?
We need the yellows and the reds.
That's how we evolve.
That's how hopefully there's some ascension to our being.
That's how we give some credit to time and growing older.
If we were the same person today that we were 20 years ago, then what, I mean, what the hell are we doing?
All you're able to let go, the farther you're going to proceed.
It is essential.
The more your willingness and your ability to let go.
the more changes are going to come.
It's just like this.
For new things to come, our things must go.
First step before anybody else in the world believes it is you have to believe it.
Found that you can achieve almost any goal you set for yourself.
If you simply take it one step at a time.
Because I want you to realize that you can be and more than likely are your worst enemy.
And you like to pin the fault on everybody outside of yourself as to why you are not making progress.
But let me tell you something.
The real enemy that's in the way of your progress is yourself.
If you do the thing, in spite of being fearful of doing the thing, that is courage.
And if you don't do the thing, even though you felt like doing the thing, that is cowardice.
And you feel like giving up, don't.
When you're thinking about giving up, don't.
When it look like you ain't going to make it, keep going.
When they tell you you can't, come on, man, who are they?
Don't believe them, man.
Don't believe them.
You've got to be relentless.
Talking to you, you're going through a storm right now.
And I want you to know, whatever you're going through right now,
if you can just muster up enough strength to hold on and hold out.
If you do not quit, if you do not give up, it's coming, baby.
You just keep on keeping off.
And if you persevere, if you persevere, I'm telling you, trouble don't last all ways.
Every storm that's come, it will pass.
Don't you ever let people place their impossibilities on your life.
Sometimes the people closest to you that will support you the least.
And it's not because that they don't love you.
It's because they ain't never seen it, done it.
They're oblivious to it.
Some people are too close to you to see your greatness.
So please stop going to what's familiar.
proximity to get validation of your gift. But some of us, we go into the people closest to
is expecting them to see it. They never done it. Stop taking advice on how to be successful
from people who have never been successful. Winning is it once what I thought it was. I found it to be
much more complex than our traditional definitions of success. A lot of people fall to their knees
and tears after a big accomplishment. Hardly due to joy and gratitude, but a lot of what you see
is relief and love and fear. It's a crucial moment at a person's journey where you need to ask yourself,
means to you. Otherwise, you get stuck in a hamster wheel, chasing you potentially not-existent
result. What I found is that winning doesn't happen on show day. It happens with early mornings,
painful workouts, long cardio sessions, hungry nights. Happens in those moments of fear we all have
when faced with a difficult goal and then more so, but you make up that fear. You are going to suffer.
It is going to be hard. It is going to take all of your energy. It's going to kick you in the face
a thousand times. You're going to be demoralized. You're going to be demoralized. You're going to
to be frustrated, you're going to be angry, you're going to be bitter sometimes. This is why it's
so important to build yourself into someone who can execute regardless of what your mood is,
regardless of what your circumstances is, because if you can execute when things are fucked up
and everybody else fails and everybody else quits, what kind of advantage does that give you
over the long haul? It gives you a tremendous advantage. And if you can become the kind of person
that cannot be stopped by outside circumstances or going through a tough time or being in a bad
or being unmotivated, how can anyone beat that?
You being impatient and taking shortcuts
is not going to create the thing you want anyway.
Like, what's going to happen?
Do you think there's a shortcut?
You think I'm going to tell you some trick?
You think I'm going to give you a tidbit?
Like, it's just the hell it works.
Building anything meaningful takes time.
So what are you going to do differently?
Life is hard.
And some of us made it harder on ourselves.
That is not a reason to quit.
That's not a reason to stop trying.
That's not a reason to quit reinventing and becoming the best version of you.
No, decide today that you're not going to let what is happening or what has happened stop you from being the best you.
Don't give up on your family.
Don't give up on you.
Don't give up on your dreams and don't give up on your plans.
Make the decision.
Keep going.
It'll be worth it in the end.
There is no such thing as fair.
failure. Failure is just life trying to move us in another direction. Now, when you're down there in a hole, it looks like failure. And when you're down in the hole, when that moment comes, it's really okay to feel bad for a little while. Give yourself time to mourn what you think you may have lost. But then, here's the key. Learn from every mistake. Don't worry about making mistakes.
mistakes happen to everybody everybody makes a mistake you're not special because you make a mistake
there's no big deal to make it a mistake it's all in the recovery it's all in the recovery
most people don't recover from a mistake if you want to differentiate yourself get the blessing of
the lesson get up and move on life we must choose our regrets in an existence where opportunity
cost is baked in. So that means that fundamentally regrets are an unavoidable part of being a human.
But what does it mean that you have to choose your regrets?
Well, if regrets are inevitable, an easy way to look at the decision is rather than which do I want to do,
which regret could I live with?
You believe you're worth it. You'll never out-earn your own self-worth.
You'll never out-earn your own self-image.
And if you don't think you're worth it, no one else is going to think you're worth it.
to think you're worth it. It was the very first decision I made and when I decided to go all in
on me, it's so crazy how everything started to change.
Feeling stuck is a signal that you've stopped growing. That's it. What actually will get you feeling
like you're not stuck is having something in the future that you're looking forward to.
Learning anything gets you back in touch with a fundamental need. It makes you start to feel like
things are moving and from that place of feeling a little bit more empowered, you'll be able to make
better decisions about what big things need to change in your life. Imagine this. If every single
day you wake up a little bit earlier and you start to prime your day, instead of letting your day
run you, you run your day. All of a sudden you can walk through your day with ease. You get through
the fear and you walk in faith. Your mind is in a position where you're so clear you have energy
and you can make decisions effectively.
All it takes is a simple set of daily habits
that you never miss on
and automatically your life gets substantially better.
Start today.
If you are insecure, guess what?
The rest of the world is too.
Do not overestimate the competition
and underestimate yourself.
You are better than anything.
The problem is you
and you don't want to fix it.
This is a hard journey.
What you're doing is hard.
Most people aren't doing it.
In fact, 99% of people are not on the same path as you.
And that means that 99% are not going to get it.
They are not going to understand.
They are not going to approve.
They're going to be uncomfortable.
They're going to try to convince you to be like them.
And you know what you have to do?
You have to ignore it all.
And you have to keep moving.
And you have to remember that those people are those people for a fucking reason.
And you're you for a reason.
No one is born as a superhero and nobody is naturally born as being a strong and confident personality.
These are things that from time to time, from situation to situation, start to emerge from inside of you.
Because it's growing inside of you based on how you are behaving towards yourself.
Step by step, build something up about yourself, about your life, about your character,
personality that will give you some strong
fundamental in order to tackle everything that this world is going to throw at you.
Anyone who has high value will be misunderstood.
Anybody who has an amazing vision will be misunderstood.
Dreamers, go-getters, people who are refusing to accept life just as it is.
You will be misunderstood.
I accept the challenge of being misunderstood.
accept the challenge of you guys not understanding what I see. I accept the challenge of you guys making
fun of me when I'm not around. I accept the challenge that lies ahead. For you to find greatness
in yourself, you're not going to find it by looking in a book or by even hearing me, but you've got
to go inside yourself to find it. And that means you got to be quiet. Stop talking. Search your soul,
search your mind, search your abilities. And you'll find.
Everyone should come to the realization that you are in complete and total control of how cool or how shit your life ends up being.
Now, of course, you know, everybody's got their own setbacks at different starting positions.
It's kind of up to you, man, right?
You got to play your car.
It's right.
So when I say eventually you're going to come to a realization that your life is in your own control,
you should try to come to that realization as soon as impossible.
Because if you get a grasp on that too late in life,
then you're, that's not a realization of,
you're untapped potential.
That's a realization of regret.
All those mornings that you don't want to get up,
and every day you fucking fight,
not wanting to get up,
and you do anyway,
you chip another piece off fucking rock,
and every day you fucking eat the right foods,
and every day you go to train,
you train harder and harder and harder,
and you get up earlier,
things you do to start forming yourself you're chipping another in piece of that rock up before
you know it you have this beautiful fucking piece of artwork that that you built and then once you get
there you see it and it becomes real like oh my god did this but so many people aren't willing to
chip away at that stone that is them as i know this transformation is painful you're not falling
apart you're falling into something different with a new capacity to be beautiful when i think about
capacity, I often think about goals, dreams, aspirations, the things that we seek to do, the places that
we're trying to get to just in life. You got a lot of people with talent, skills, gift, intelligence.
You're like, man, they got it. But when you think about capacity, capacity is all the things that
you're going to have to go through in order to acquire the things that you seek to acquire.
you. So you got to go start your journey. And the journey starts when you find him, why the
hell am I here on this planet Earth? Why am I here? And if you don't know that, you will live the
rest of your life searching, always asking the question, why.
This is when you get what you deserve. Mercy is when you don't get what you deserve.
Grace is when you get what you don't deserve. Life is hard work. Life is faith.
and life is grace.
Faith without works is dead.
You just keep the faith and work really hard.
And when pessimism comes to your mind,
you've got to educate.
Pessimism because pessimism is stupid.
Pessimism tries to get you to believe that it's only
half empty. Of course it's half empty, but it's not only half empty.
It's also half full.
I'm asking you to be in charge, be in charge of your own mind,
be in charge of your own destiny,
I'm asking you to drive worry into a small corner.
You've got to worry some.
All this negative stuff serves some purpose,
but the key is for you to be the master not to serve it.
We've all got concerns,
and sometimes we all wonder,
and sometimes there's a little crack of doubt.
We worry a little, but I'm telling you, drive it into a small corner.
Be times in your life when you don't want to wake up,
you don't want to go to work.
Because in life you don't think you're good enough,
in life,
nothing is promised to us
and so we take that mentality
and we use it as well as me
I'm not good enough
I'm not smart enough I'm not good looking enough
when times get hard
and you're looking around
no one's there to pat you on your back
and ain't no more motherfuckers
to carry them damn boats
is just you dragging it
just dragging the boat by yourself
and all you want to do is stop
but you can't
So all you are here, there's no one thing.
Don't stop in your fucking tired.
Stop getting it done.
Your past doesn't define you.
It actually sets you free.
Because who you were and what you've done is still change in the making.
Focus on your next chapter.
Focus on the story you're writing right now.
Don't sabotage who you can be because of who you used to be.
You don't need to rewrite your past.
Just do more with you.
with your present.
Like the outcome ain't that deep to me, right?
I'm more so of like the process of self-improvement.
At the end of the day, you got to ask yourself the question, what fulfills you?
When you put in work, when you prepare, when you give everything you got to something,
the process of self-improvement, even if it doesn't go the way you want it to go, you still
have something to hang on to knowing that you put some pride into the process of it.
Being afraid to fail, instead of trying to avoid failure, instead of trying to avoid failure, instead
of being embarrassed when you fail, start to understand that failure is a 100% requirement for people
to be successful. And every single time you fail, every single time you stumble, every single
time you make a stupid mistake. Audit that, take the lesson, put the skill in your tool belt,
and then the next time that situation arises, you know what to do. And this is the thing that
people never get because they're too afraid to start in the beginning. When doors close, that's
simply God telling you he got another door he wants you to walk through. Why don't you stop beating
on that door and turn away from the door and walk up the hall? This is the hallway of life.
The hallway of life got more doors. You got to turn up the hall and there's a bigger door
with your name on it. But if you see, you see that.
stay there banging on that door, what would it be? And I wish it had a should or could or would
have. Hey man, stop all that. Walk up to hall and go see what else God got for you.
It's the most important key to success. I think it's hunger. It's not getting satisfied.
Anyone you respect who's achieved at the highest level, intelligence is an incredibly important
distinction and a valuable thing to have in life. But I always tell people, you can find so many
intelligent people can't fight the way I have a paper bag what matters is hunger do
do you actually want to do this or not do you actually want to do this or not because if you
actually want to do it what's going to stop you nothing and if you don't really want to do it
what's going to stop you just about anything that comes up just about any obstacle it gets in
your way becomes an excuse it becomes a reason it comes a rationale for not proceeding
down that path well at some point you
will get in your way at some point. And that's fine. It's not about that. It's about how you handle
the adversity when that stuff presents itself. But when you do, it's how do you deal? How do you
adjust? How do you pivot? How do y'all make sure that you're all in line? And how do you keep
your eyes on the promise? How to turn nothing into something. First, to turn nothing into something,
you start with ideas and imagination. Now, it's hard to call ideas and imagination nothing.
So to turn nothing into something, you start with ideas and imagination.
Interesting.
Ideas that become so powerful in your mind and your consciousness,
they seem real to you even before they become tangible.
Imagination that is so strong that you can actually see it.
You can actually see it.
The difference between successful people and non-successful people
is here.
You have to change this.
So if you're at a place in your life
and you ain't happy with it,
you have to change some things,
but you have to make a conscientious decision
that you're going to change
and it's not dependent on anybody else.
Stop letting people define you.
You're going to run into people
that's friends, family, associates,
they ain't winning life.
They gave up one of their dreams.
Their dreams they work out
because they ain't worked their dreams.
But y'all don't let them tell you,
that y'all can work your dreams.
All of y'all got a shot.
Be mindful of the information that y'all take in from losers.
There's a lot of losers out here.
A lot of losers, a lot of people that gave them when they dreams.
A lot of people that don't love their self.
Just because they don't love their self,
they don't let them put their energy on y'all.
Their insecurities and the fans on y'all.
Y'all got a shot out here.
When you look at someone and you say,
that man or that woman has something that I don't have,
you're telling yourself a justification as to why you can't do it.
You're talking yourself out of it.
They didn't have that ability.
either. They got it from showing up every day and executing. And especially when they don't feel like it.
Let anybody ever tell you you're not good enough. Okay. And so many young people think that they can't
or they're not, they don't have the potential or if somebody else is better, forget everything
about it. I mean, you know, if you really want something bad enough, if you really, really want
something bad enough, we'll figure out a way to get there. And I really believe if you're
What something bad enough, you can wilt to happen.
When the going gets tough, quitting should never be an option.
In every project, there's escape hatches.
And if you don't both implose when the going gets tough, boom, away you go.
If you're going to quit, quit when you're at your peak, when you're very, very successful.
But don't quit because you're tired of paying the price.
If you pay the price, the reward is going to be that much sweeter.
But one thing, through every dog night, there's a bright day after that.
Along the way, you're going to need to do things you don't want to do or might not think you can do.
It's okay to be scared.
It's natural to doubt yourself.
But if you can push through that and do what needs to be done, you'll do just fine.
Here's a simple rule.
Never, ever, ever let your mood dictate what you do.
You have to take action first because movement changes your mood.
If you want to be an author, write.
And when you're done writing, your mood will be amazing.
If you want to be healthier, exercise.
And your mood after you move will feel incredible.
Do not let the mood you're in now dictate what you do next.
Act like the person you want to become.
and when you start taking those actions and you start moving in the direction of your dreams
and the things that you want and deserve in life, your move will follow.
It'll feel great and you, my friend, will be getting it done.
Discipline acknowledges your feelings but does not act on them.
Discipline acknowledges that you do not want to put in the work, but you do it anyways.
If you live your life off the fuel of motivation, you will run out and you will fail.
But if you go off of discipline, you will always push forward.
Discipline does what's required despite how you feel.
Everybody tells you when you get knocked down, stand right back up.
Don't let them see you knock down.
I totally disagree with that.
Totally disagree with that.
Because if you stand up, you're going to stand up the same.
same individual that got not the same way you got knocked out you mean you're the exact same person
stay down there understand why you got knocked down why you're down there so when you stand up
there's something different about you when you get knocked down and you are going to get knocked
down when you stand up you stand up stronger you get knocked down again stay down there
when you stand up you're going to stand up with more talent
You're going to get knocked down again?
Stay down there.
You're going to be more intelligent.
You're going to be more resilient.
Every time you get knocked down,
there has to be a different, better version of you standing up.
Otherwise, you're going to keep getting knocked down.
Being a winner is a curse.
It doesn't matter how much you've won before.
You're not a winner until you win again.
And again and again.
Nothing is enough.
No one understands.
And you never wanted to stop.
I'll find a way to win.
In spite of the setbacks, in spite of the disappointments,
in spite of your failures, fail your way to success.
His life knocked you down trying to land on your back
because if you can look up, you can get up.
Here establishes the boundaries of our freedom.
So whatever you're afraid of, that becomes your limitation.
If you're afraid of heights, you stay alone.
If you're afraid of people, you stay alone.
If you're afraid of failure, you stay safe.
And when you realize fear establishes the boundaries of your freedom,
the moment you press through those fears now, you have unlimited freedom.
You know, knowing that you put the work in and have the confidence to let it show,
what I tell people is just be the best version of yourself and anything that you do.
You don't have to live anybody else's story.
Sometimes people make it seem like you have to have certain prerequisites.
But the truth is, you really don't.
It doesn't matter where you come from.
what you have or don't have
what you lack
what you have too much of
but an undying passion
for what you do
or what you choose to do in this life
and a relentless drive
and the will to do whatever it takes
to be successful
there's a lot of talk every day about
conspiracy theories and about things that are
floating around and you know it's not a conspiracy theory
you know it's not a conspiracy theory your life
You know, it doesn't need to be negotiated amongst the news and people and peers is your vision, your heart, your soul, your family.
Focus at home.
Don't worry about what's floating around in the media and who says this and who says what.
Pay attention, see what they say, but realize something, your life is not a conspiracy theory.
Focus on that.
Focus on your family.
Focus on your goals.
Focus on your vision.
There's a lot of noise.
There's a lot of chatter.
Well, the best places that you can spend your time, energy, bandwidth, heart, and soul is within the four walls of your own home.
You need to understand like everything in life and initially feels like bad reinforcement.
You start going to the gym, you feel weak in order to become strong.
You go to the library.
You read.
You don't understand.
You feel stupid in order to become smart.
The process of discomfort is inevitable.
You have to go through it.
Most people have that initial feeling, that initial lack of self-belief.
because they don't understand that they have to be humbled first in every aspect in order to grow.
You need to go through that parallel problem solving.
You solve it and then you get the reward.
None of us know what will happen.
We can't predict how this journey will turn out to be.
If you're finding it hard to imagine a future better than you have right now,
just know that you're not alone.
Sometimes we all feel stuck, afraid, overwhelmed, and lost.
But regardless, we always find a way and carry on.
Don't forget how you made it here.
You overcame every challenge you ever faced.
And I know you'll make it through this too.
It's so easy to lose ourselves in the midst of a storm,
especially when it feels like we haven't seen a sunny day in months.
And we think because this storm is so powerful that all of our dreams are going to be
washed away with it. But what if the storm looked at you and said, if you stay true, what's for you
will find you? This is the comeback. Maybe you're in a rut, maybe you've just experienced failure,
or maybe you're just lost. But this is the part in your story where the momentum shifts.
This is where you find the drive that you've been looking for. It is now. This is the start of
your comeback, the vision that you have for your future, everything you so desire, is begging you to
pick yourself up and begin your journey, because the window is closing. And if you pass this one up,
you very well may solidify your eternal existence within the dreadful cycle of stagnation.
When you find that sense of purpose, when you find what I call your life's task,
everything has a direction, everything has a purpose, your energy is concentrated. It's not like
you're just going down a single narrow pathway.
It's not like life becomes boring and it's just about discipline and solving problems.
It's actually the most exciting thing that can ever happen to you because you never have
that lost feeling.
You wake up in the morning and you go, yeah, this is what I need to accomplish.
People come at you with all kinds of distractions and boring and irritating things.
You're able to cut it out.
It's just the most marvelous piece of internal radar that you can have.
So I genuinely wish that everybody can find that kind of
internal radar.
You are the creator.
You are creating every aspect of your life.
You're creating time.
You're creating memories.
You're creating bad habits.
You're creating good habits.
You're creating good relationships.
You're creating bad relationships.
You're creating everything.
You're creating things that you don't like.
You're creating things that you love.
You are a creative being and you need to be continuously creating.
in order to maintain momentum and energy.
A undisputed first law of personal growth is this,
that people will never rise above the opinion of themselves.
And when we commit to self-mastery,
we get ourselves the best shot of becoming,
the best and greatest versions of ourself that we can be.
And then we get to become the example
and the invitation to others,
be the change you wish to see in the world.
You know, in this life,
own personal journey, you're going to go through so many ups and downs, ebbs and flows, twist and turns.
And it's so important to just embrace them all with an open mind and an open heart, you know,
and understand that, you know, you're in a constant state of evolution and growth. And growth
sometimes is amazing, and it feels great and it's beautiful. And on the other end, growth sometimes
is also incredibly painful and uncomfortable. And it's the ability to be able to embrace all those
seasons, all those facets, understanding that through it all, you're growing and it's all serving
a greater purpose. Forward is progress. They all matter. Don't fall into the trap of comparison.
If six months slip by without you achieving your goals, it's okay. As long as you're here,
time is your ally. You are enough. You are deserving. You are capable. Life is in a race.
your journey matters
you'll get there when you get there
your life in the journey you put yourself through
there's nothing more than that
and that's all I want people to do is realize
that you have to struggle
you have to struggle the bigger the struggle
the bigger the peace
bigger the suffering the more peace
I really hope that you know
that you were going to overcome the things
that feel impossible to forget
Because here's the thing, very soon, you are going to start making new beautiful memories
that are going to find a home in that place in you that's empty right now.
And I also hope that you know that what is coming for you is going to be way better and way
more amazing than what's left and what's gone.
You can reinvent and rebuild and
rethink what you're going to do next any moment you choose. You're not too old. You're not too
young. You're not too late. You need new goals. When you've been at this for a while, the goals that
you had a decade ago are not the goals and the things that are going to motivate you right now.
So instead of beating yourself up for not achieving those goals, why don't you flip your attitude
and say yourself, maybe those goals weren't the ones that are meant for you? What is it that you want
in this moment of your life.
Why is it that we need to run from the chaos?
Why is it that we need to run from the pain?
Why is it that we want to run away from the things that hurt our feelings or hurt us inside
or scare us?
Why are we trying to run away from that stuff?
Because we both know that our biggest lessons, your biggest lessons that you've ever
experienced in life have come from the darkest times.
You ever noticed that we spent a lot of time and a lot of energy trying to keep ourselves,
out of trouble and keep ourselves away from the pain and away from the darkness.
Yet that is actually where the gift lies is inside those places.
When you're at your lowest, you realize a lot.
Everything is raw.
Everything is simplified.
It feels like everything's been lost and all that you're left with is the foundation of you.
But these are the perfect ingredients for a rebirth and a rebuild.
You may not realize it now, but you're going to look back and realize that rock bottom
gave you the gift of being able to start over.
And not many people get that gift.
The pages are blank, and you are the author.
