You've convinced yourself that you're uniquely broken, that somehow success works for other people but not for you.
And now you use that belief as a shield to protect yourself against the disappointment of failure.
I thought I was uniquely broken when in reality I'm exactly like everyone else.
If anyone else has achieved the success that you want from a similar position to your own, you are not unique.
And thinking about yourself as unique is only hurting you.
The worst thing you can do is see yourself as uniquely positioned to not achieve the things you want to achieve
because you'll use that as an excuse for the work that didn't get done.
For the hours you didn't put in, for the sacrifices you didn't make,
for all the other things that all the other people who have achieved the success that you want were willing to do,
you'll see that as an excuse for why you didn't do those things.
Confidence and fear both require believing in something that hasn't happened yet.
At a certain point, you have to consider that you're choosing to be afraid.
The lie of society is that you can win without doing whatever it takes.
And you just can't.
You're not that good.
I'm not that good.
Nobody's that good.
Nobody.
Okay?
So to think that you can get by doing what you feel like doing as opposed to what the
takes is a false expectation.
There are too many people who are high-skinned.
have tons of experience, have tons of resources, and have come from nothing and are willing
to do whatever to fuck it takes, that you cannot beat them unless you at least, at a bare minimum,
do everything perfect.
I think the next plot twist is that things are about to get really good.
I think you bled enough for breakthroughs that never came.
Sat in silence longer than most would survive.
Tried to be strong even when no one noticed.
And now, the shift is here.
The pain didn't make sense while you were in it.
Now, the lessons are landing.
Now that the weight is lifting, now that the silence is starting to sound like alignment,
you thought the world was punishing you.
It was just preparing you.
And you were about to realize that you didn't lose anything that was never meant to stay.
One day you were going to look back and realize that that was the turning point.
This is when life started working with you and not against you.
Not because everything got easy, but because you stopped chasing the version that was built on survival
and started walking into one finally built to receive.
So if it feels like calm right now, don't mistake that for not.
nothing happening. The plot twist is peace. The glow up is quiet. And your next chapter,
it's already in motion. Change your thoughts. Change the way you think about pain. Think of the
lessons you can learn from immediately. Train your brain to extract what valuable information,
what research and development is coming from the pain so you never experience it again.
So you can make it better for the next time. So you can use that as your fuel to blast off
to your next level of life rather than the anchor that hold you back. So let's think about that.
Brother, it happened.
You don't have to like it.
You don't have to justify it.
But you damn sure I have to accept it.
See, the longer you deny reality,
the longer you will be owned by an image of your life
that only exist in your head.
You want peace?
The presence comes from realizing it is what it is.
See, you can change what you do.
You can't change what happened.
Let the past be the past.
If the what if I can pull off a miracle.
What if I can become someone that no one thinks I can be?
So really what it comes down to is what are your skills?
Like if you've got skills that can be used to build something beautiful,
to do something wonderful to the world,
to help people move towards their goals,
that will excite the masses because they want that thing that you're going to create,
that it's going to improve people's lives.
The only thing that mattered in all of that was you got really good at something.
And somewhere along the way, we lost that the punchline is,
The punchline is, no matter what you do to the system, you, as an individual, need to get extraordinary.
It's very important.
As you hold onto that dream, there are moments when you're going to doubt yourself.
There are rough times are going to come, but they have not come to stay.
They have come to pass.
There is another level.
The only reason you keep seeing there isn't is you feel so exhausted about where you are.
But life, the universe.
versus God is just testing you because there is another level.
If this is good, start good toward to good to excellence.
There's a level where all your dreams are realized.
There's a level that you've always dreamed about.
It is real.
It has not gone away.
But it takes that extra burst when you think there's nothing left.
There's no way you've tried everything 10 million times.
It's almost like God is saying,
if you keep hitting this wall enough times, I will see that you will not stop, that you are filled
with that level of determination and faith and courage, and then the door opens.
It's important for you to know that. Don't say I'm having a bad day. Say I'm having a character
building day. The one thing I know about emotions is that they change. One hour from right now,
you will not feel the same way. And I want to encourage you tonight that you might be in your darkest
moment. You might be going through hell in high water, but I want to prophesy over your life.
It is always too soon to quit. You have a reason to live. God declares your best days are in front of you.
It's very important for you to believe that you are the one to make this happen.
So focus on that. Go get extraordinary. Go become the best of whatever it is you want to be.
But go become the best of it and see how the world opens to you.
I love the idea of people taking time out of their lives
to prove to themselves
that if they're defined by the vision of the future,
then they're not living by the memories of the past,
and that's where the unknown exists.
So many people, the unknown is a scary place,
so they don't see that future
because they're used to seeing that future with evidence, with their senses.
And you have to be able to get beyond that,
and stay in the unknown.
know, stay in that discomfort, and then in that moment to begin to self-regulate, like, oh, I'm
starting to feel a little anxiety. Ooh, I'm starting to feel a little frustration. That's
the defining moment where your body's going back to the past as emotions are a record of the past.
You catch yourself, it's a victory. And if you keep catching yourself, those victories add up.
And it's not so much about your wealth or your health or your freedom or your new relationship.
It's actually about who you become.
That you don't give up, that you don't take any objection or disappointment or defeats personally.
That you keep on, keeping on, that you don't decide that I can't make it because you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel?
That you realize that's a part of the program.
And here's something you've got to resolve.
Say this to yourself every day.
See, as long as you're breathing, you've got a shot at your dream.
Standing magnificent, unstoppable, extraordinary, not excellent.
It's a different level.
And maybe you have failed, but I want to remind you it, failure is not final.
It's formative.
It is not final.
It is formative.
It is part of the process.
It's part of the journey.
Your failure matters as much as your success.
How do you think you're going to grow if you don't ever fail?
Yet some of you have failed and you have decided, well, guess what?
I'm a failure.
No failure is an event.
It is never a person.
Just because you failed doesn't mean that you're a failure.
In fact, failure is actually fuel for your future, the way that you grow, the way that you advance.
You have to fail in order to succeed.
Not over till I win.
Not over until I get through.
Not over until I get over.
Not over until I get what I want.
Only execution matters.
Burn that into your nervous system.
Get a tattoo.
Do whatever you need to do to remind yourself.

Thinking about it, feeling good about it, those are awesome.
But if you have a vision of something you're trying to do become whatever
and you don't execute against it,
and I don't need you to want to build a big business.
If you tell me you want to be the greatest parent of all time,
then I'm going to ask you, what are you doing to execute on that goal?
What are you doing? How do you define it?
You need to get a revelation day that the joy is not in the success.
The joy is in trying.
The joy is in the process.

Failure is just another peg in the ladder for me to go higher.
Failure for me is a research project.
I don't want to just know how to make it work.

You've got to be willing to give up who you are now for what you can become.

It's not the critic who counts.
It's not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles or where the doer of deeds could have done it better.
The credit belongs to the person who's actually in the arena,
whose face is marred with blood and sweat and dust,
who at the best in the end knows the triumph of high achievement
and who at worst, if he fails, he fails daring greatly.
It is not about winning, it's not about losing,
it's about showing up and being seen.
We just want to be to go back to old habits
is because our goals are too often.
We're not achieving our goals fast enough.
We're not proud of ourselves for the small accomplishments.

There's a process that you had to go through,

So you need something to protect your mindset
against that loop because it will chip away at you.

You don't do things that don't serve you.
So what I want you to do is think about
something you want for you
that's real for you
that's important for you
that will give your life some special meaning and power
and I don't even want you to say I can do that
I don't want you to assume that
that when you say this
even when you face tremendous setbacks
it will be a benchmark to keep you in the game
to keep you moving forwarding
experimenting and readjusting your strategy
and your plan of action continuously looking for ways to win.
That can keep us going, that will enable us to act on our dream.
What's one of those keys that will begin to help us to discover the secrets to our dream?
Say it's possible.
And I will make you guys one promise right here today.
The game you're playing, please listen to this,
so that you don't end up wasting years of your life like I did mine.
The game that you're playing is not success.
The game that you're playing is not money.
The game that you're playing is grain chemistry.
It's about fulfillment.
The only thing ultimately that's ever going to matter in your life
is how you feel about yourself when you're by yourself.
Just say to yourself every day, it's possible.
If you're plagued by feelings of inferiority, you should rectify the most obvious inferiorities.
Well, if you have some faults and you feel insecure and inferior because of that, well, you should.
Now, it shouldn't be so much that you're crippled by it and unable to take action.
You shouldn't be beating yourself into the ground because you're not everything you could be, because no one is.
And if you beat yourself into the ground, then you can't get up and imprines.
We all have these feelings in our bodies and our bodies,
our minds and our souls. I act on mine. A lot of us who are afraid of something, we allow our
minds to choose the path of least resistance so we go a different route. I'm afraid of something
is telling me you must, you must do that. You have to go that way. And most of us don't
understand that mentality. We go left and we wonder why we haven't fulfilled something in our lives.
It's because we continue to take the journey that is mapped out. They pointed out,
An inadequacy is a pathway that you can travel down, right?
A recognized inadequacy is as soon it's such a gift in some sense, if it's acric.
I'm in it because you think, well, what should I do?
What should I do with my life?
That's a real complicated question.
Oh, here's an inadequacy.
Excellent.
You have a goal now.
We get to that next level.
It's to understand that the person that you are has gotten you as far as it's ever going to get you.
So you've got to become a new person.
You literally have to adapt.
Now the great news is that is what humans are wired to do.
Well, by the same token, you don't have to force yourself or motivate yourself to think negatively.
To be depressed, to beat yourself up over the head, to feel loaded with guilt.
You don't have to make any effort to do that.
Your mind is on automatic.
It will do that by itself.
But if you want to begin to move into your own person,
no greatness. If you want to begin to really enjoy a happy, successful, healthy life, you've got to
be willing to go against the tide. You've got to be willing to harness your will. Where I want to be,
where do I see myself tomorrow the next year, the next year from that, and it takes a lot of self-discipline.
I have a vision of the person you could become and to reach the pearly gates, as it were, see who
you could have been, contrasted with who you actually are, and be disappointed by the gap between
them. And I love chasing that. I think it's a beautiful chase. But what I hope you guys will do,
if you ever find yourself at the pearly gates disappointed in how much farther you could have gone,
to simply ask one question of yourself every day. Did I give it my all today?
Wherever you are, whatever you're doing, do it with everything that you have.
Develop the habit of giving more than what you're paid for.
Develop the habit of setting standards that others will be measured by.
Do not go where the path may lead, but go where there's no path and leave a trail.
Yeah, so in order to change a belief or a perception about yourself and your life,
you've got to go all in.
It's not like you go 50% in.
You've got to go all in.
You've got to make a decision with such firm intention
that the amplitude of that decision carries a level of energy
that causes the body to respond to the mind,
that the choice that you make becomes a moment in time
you'll never forget and you would say,
I remember the moment and made up my mind to change.
And the stronger the emotion you feel,
the more you'll pay attention to the decision,
and that's a huge stone.
The process of working on your dreams,
you are going to incurring a lot of disappointment, a lot of failure, a lot of pain.
There's a bigger dream waiting for you, just waiting for you to step into it.
To step into it.
Your life is big.
Your life is huge.
And we spend so much time wanting to be in somebody else's life.
And you don't get honored, you don't get revered, you don't get celebrating, wanting what somebody else has.
But momentum requires you always do the next thing to keep the momentum going.
And the reason you get yourself in a passionate place is so that you change your life.
And the only thing that changes you life is making a decision.
So while you're in this passionate state, that's where you make decisions.
If you make a decision in a state without momentum, if you make a decision from a place where there's no passion, you are not going to get momentum.
It'll kill momentum.
It's decide, commit, and resolve.
Well, the first thing I would say is, well, you shouldn't be afraid of taking risks and pursuing something meaningful.
But you should be more afraid of staying where you are if it's making you miserable.
First thing you want to do is dispense with the idea that you should be afraid of taking you.
you get to have any permanent security outside of your ability to contend and adapt.
It's like you're paying a price by sitting there being miserable.
You might say, well, the devil I know is better than the one I don't.
It's like, don't be so sure of that.
And if you're miserable in your job now and you change nothing in five years, you'll be much
more miserable and you'll be a lot older.
It's okay to settle.
It's okay to give up.
And that is the instinct you need to fight, you need to push back to smash into the ground.
Do not take the easy way out.
Do not give up based on instinct.
I don't think, I don't remember now, I'm not talking about what makes you happy.
It's a luxury to pursue what makes you happy.
It's a moral obligation to pursue what you find meaningful.
And that doesn't mean it's easy.
It might require sacrifice.
that says you've had enough.
This is the instinct that says you've given it your best shot.
You can stand down.
You can back off.
You can take a knee.
This is the instinct that says you can rest now.
Do not listen to that instinct.
Do not listen.
If you are not defined by some vision,
that is bigger than you,
and you are not passionate about that vision,
then you're left with the old hardware of the past in your brain,
and you will be predictable in your life.
So would you agree then?
New thoughts, new information should lead to new choices.
New choices should lead to new behaviors.
And new behaviors should create new experiences.
and new experiences should produce new emotions.
Most people are not accumulating wealth.
Most people are living in poverty.
Most people are living far below their potential.
Not because they don't have the capacity,
not because they have not been given authority and dominion
over everything on the face of the earth.
But most people are living like they're living
because of the fact that they don't believe
they can have any more than what they now have.
A resilient person is keeping
capable of standing up to things in the face of fear and moving forward voluntarily
and vince of their own competence and ability to prevail.
If you break, the fight is just beginning.
And as you crawl up and out of that dismal and wretched place, as you rise above what you were,
And as you take the form of who you are supposed to be, you will see that in the very act of standing up, in the very act of fighting on, you will become and you will remain broken.
So every day you have to sell yourself and get out of your mind those old thoughts, that old belief system.
every day you've got to sell yourself on that it's possible.
Faith is a substance of things hoped for
and the evidence of things not seen.
Faith don't make it easy.
Faith makes it possible.
All you want is to strip to get through your life.
Stop thinking.
Worrying.
Looking over your shoulders.
Wondering, doubting, fearing, hurting, hoping for some easy way out, grinding away at yourself,
stop it and just do!
You are not responsible for the world.
Only responsible for your work, so just do it!
You can't have a life that you're going to find acceptable without that, because you need the...
the vision and the plans to give you purpose and direction.
That's where all your positive emotion comes from,
all your motivation is laying out plans that are worth attaining
and then observing yourself moving towards them.
That's the source of most positive meaning.
And then also without that structure,
you're so lost that you're going to be anxious and overwhelmed.
The true heroes and the true titans and the true masters,
those people are not fearless.
those are people who have just practiced walking into their fear
and living on the razor's edge consistently
to the point where they're comfortable amid their discomfort.
That's the great opportunity for you,
not to avoid fear, but to be comfortable in the unknown,
to be comfortable when you're terrified.
Their fears are larger than their faith.
It's very important that you engage in an ongoing problem,
to develop you. Spend more time on yourself than what you've been spending.
It's very important. You owe that to yourself.
You know how to say no.
And we find ourselves doing all kinds of things and never ever have time to do those things that we need to do to work on ourselves.
And then there goes a second. That goes another second. There goes another second.
And we can't stop and hold time.
And before you know it, you wake up one day and you're behind in your dreams and your bills.
It's saying, on the days of your days of your time, and you can't stop.
On the days that I feel like I'm not gonna make it.
On the days that it feels like I can't endure anymore, I think back on my track record
for surviving all my bad days.
And so far, surviving all my bad days, my track record is 100%.
Try the most outrageous things you can.
Shock yourself.
You have at your power the ability to do anything.
you can take your surroundings beyond order and and move towards beauty and that's
unbelievably useful because while beauty calls people to their higher being I would say and to
make friends with beauty is to introduce yourself and introduce yourself very carefully to one of
the mysteries of life that make it worth living I don't know why you do what you do what is your
motive for action. What is it that drives you in your life today? Not 10 years ago, or are you
running the same pattern? Because I believe that the invisible force of internal drive
activated is the most important thing in the world. I'm here because I believe emotion is the
force of life. Every great hero was broken. Out suffered the majority. And what I'm suggesting
to you is pain can be transformed into
power with the intention to transform pain into power. You see, what most people do is this is why most
good people lose. They stumble and they fall and they become heartbroken or disappointed by
life's challenges that happens to every single one of us. This is the central mantra of my life.
It doesn't matter who you are today. It really doesn't. So, it
If you feel like you're incapable of something, maybe you are today.
So it's not about who you are today.
It's about who you want to become and the price you're willing to pay to get there.
So you have to watch who's speaking into you.
You've got to begin to monitor your mind.
And you've got to begin to literally be proactive in programming yourself to success.
Be not conform to this world.
Be it transformed by the renewing of your mind.
You've got to take responsibility to make that happen.
And as you begin to do that, you'll begin to see some incredible changes in your life.
When Earl Nightingale said, all of us are self-made, but only the successful will admit it.
What do you call this massive treasure that's in every cemetery?
It's called Potencia.
Potential.
Why is this called potential?
Well, potential, I want to define it for you one more time.
Potential is untapped power.
Potential is unused ability.
Potential is all you could be, but you haven't become yet.
When you have these ideas of greatness, you've got to go forward.
Because it's not going to be a right time.
Just go.
Just go.
Go jump.
Take a chance.
Allow your heart to be broken over and over and over until it opens.
Everybody wants to win, but in order to know how to win, you've got to know how to lose.
Because you're going to lose more than you're going to win.
But every time you lose, what are you gained from?
The number one thing that's going to change your life, the only thing that will change your life, change your business, change your money, change your relationship, is you must raise your
standard. I know that sounds boring, stupid, basic, but it's the truth. It means that all of us in life
have things we want. We don't get what we want. We get what we have to have. People are waiting to be
cut. Some people are moving on their own because they feel within themselves, I've got what
it takes to make it. They're not afraid about tomorrow because of how they see themselves.
Somebody's showing a rock at you with the intention of hurting you. You can put your defenses up,
you will deflect that rock, never to be seen again, or you can lower your defenses,
let it hit you in the face, knowing that it will hurt, but also knowing now at your feet
is not a rock, it's a lump of gold. Because they've given you
you an insight into where you are weak. Now once you know where you are weak, you can begin
to build yourself. And that is my thesis on life. You get to build yourself in any direction
you want, in any way to become anything you want. There will be an extraordinary price to pay,
but you can go in any direction. Identify your guilt and get busy with it.
God gave all of you a gift.
Identify your guilt.
It is the thing that you do the absolute best
with the least amount of effort.
That's your guilt.
Get busy at that.
Remember I said earlier?
We all get what we tolerate
in ourselves and other people.
But when you're no longer willing to tolerate something,
that's when your life changes.
The difference in people is their standards.
The difference in people is their standard.
Period.
We're living in such an amazing time right now.
I mean, if you are not being challenged in some way in your life, you're not alive.
And all of this is an initiation.
If you see your life as the school, as the initiation,
then you can no longer be a victim to your life.
You're going to have to meet the challenges in your life
from a greater level of mind,
greater than the mind that creating.
It's like we're built for struggle, us human beings.
You're not after.
We're built to contend with the world.
We're built to contend with reality.
You want a challenge,
and the best way that you can take on a challenge
because a challenge fortifies you.
So you don't want to be secure.
You want to be strong.
And you get strong by taking on optimal challenges.
And so you lay out your destiny in the world
and you take the slings and arrows of fate.
And you make yourself stronger while you're doing so.
And you might fail.
and fortune might do you in, but it's your best bet.
After the first time that you opt to brave their wilderness,
you pull away from what a group of people thinks,
maybe it's your creative community, it's your critics.
The first time you pull away and find power in standing on your own,
I think your heart is marked by the wild.
I think you belong in and to the wilderness in a different way.
Because every time after that,
when you choose fitting in over belonging to yourself, it's painful.
When there is adversity and when there are challenges in our life,
the question, of course, becomes how do we become supernatural?
And that means we're going to have to do what feels unnatural first.
What would your life be like as you look toward the future?
If you decided, I'm not going to allow my fears to stop me.
What would you like be like?
What would your future be like if you decided to want that which you desire so strongly
that it prepares you past your fears?
Everyone in the world has a list of things they think they should do.
I should lose weight.
I should work out.
I should spend more time with my kids.
I should work harder.
I should make more calls.
I should, I should, I should, I should.
And then you know what?
People don't do their shoulds, and they get mad at themselves.
What changes people is when you should becomes a must.
You get all these things that come to you that seem to be simply true.
I believed that the human mind couldn't change.
I believed that it was fixed.
I believed that my talent and intelligence were just what they were.
It all seemed true.
It wasn't like I knew it to be a lie.
It wasn't like I knew that I had a choice
to think of it a different way.
And one of my favorite quotes of all time
is from Albert Einstein.
And he said the most important decision
any human being has to make
is whether they live in a friendly
or a hostile universe.
And suddenly, the thing you said
should happen has to happen.
That's when human beings change.
And the question is,
if you die today
what dreams
what ideas
what talents what books
what music what leadership
what voice
will die with you
so you better love
what you do on a day to day basis
the only moment that's real is right now
now follows you
we live to ourselves
we don't tell ourselves the way things really are
And when we do that, then we can't fix our problems.
If we can't fix our problems, we're not going to improve.
So we have to be truthful to ourselves.
I have to be truthful to myself.
You have to be truthful to yourself.
You have to stop rationalizing.
Stop making excuses.
Stop telling yourself little water-down assessments of where you're really at.
Tell yourself the truth.
So that you can get where you want.
to go, you could be who you want to be, you could be who you should be, who you should be
when you do what you know you should do.
The winners of the world, the people who consistently win, the people who consistently go forward
and seem to, you know, have the mightest touch when it comes to their own journey and their
own success, these people understand very clearly how opportunities are created, they are not given.
Whatever it is that you do, the key to becoming great and getting
opportunities is going to be to use the situation that you were currently in to the best of your
ability to build skills.
You will never execute the idea if you don't impress it upon the subconscious mind.
There is this imaginary terror barrier and you hit it and you bounce off it and it's very real.
You could get sick to your stomach.
Worry, fear and anxiety strike just like lightning and you bounce off that terror barrier.
well I may not have much on this job but at least I know what I'm getting
do you ever hear when your kid's better to be safe and sorry that isn't true that's
not true at all that's a lot but people believe are we going to let the terror
barrier stop us faith based on understanding is the key to freedom I love the way
Joseph Campbell put it he said the cave you fear to enter holds the treasure you seek
Why are most people living a life of average, of mediocrity, of just pathetic, boring lives?
I'm going to tell you it's because they compromise.
They continuously compromise on their goals and dream.
You begin to compromise the goals and dreams that you have.
You begin to negotiate them away, and I often wonder to myself why you would do this.
You only get one run at life, you know.
There is no, like, second run.
There is no trial run.
If you think this is a trial run, my second time around, I'm really going to go all in, you're not.
You're not.
This is it.
And so if you are here and you've got goals and dreams, why would you ever compromise?
When you implement discipline, true and unflinching and unmitigated discipline in your life, when you stop, when you stop trying to find a sweatless solution, when you look for weaknesses to work on, when you allow no easy excuses.
And all that starts when you stop lying to yourself.
When you stop lying to yourself, that's when you can become who you know you should be.
When you tell yourself the truth about where you are so you can make sure you are in the right place.
And if you're not in the right place, then you can get yourself on the path to get there.
A path of discipline, the path of hard work, and the path of truth.
It's possible for you to live your dream.
It's necessary that you associate with winners,
that you work your system, that you are relentless,
that you never give up.
It's you, you've got to take personal responsibility.
You've got to make it your personal business
to make it happen.
And you've got to resolve within yourself
that I can do this, that it's hard.
But you've got to say, I'm the one.
But you know it's going to be hard, but,
find out what will make it worth it for you.
How we make decisions.
And the fact that we make decisions not based on what we know we need to do, not based on
our goals, but based on how we feel right now.
It's your feelings that make the decision for you.
When you're an adult, you have to parent yourself.
Here's the rub.
You're never, ever, ever going to feel like doing the things you need to do.
in order to have what you want.
Seconds you leave your house and the second you open your phone,
the seconds you do any of that,
you are now letting them poison in cancer.
So as I get up, I start to armor plate my mind and body.
Like a person is going to war and put your body armor on.
That's what I'm doing on that run.
I'm waking up and I'm giving myself all this armor.
So when I come out in the world,
now look at that phone, I'm going to do that phone,
I'm ready.
I'm not waking up late.
I'm not rushing around.
I'm not disorganized.
Because I know I'm gonna get hit in the mouth.
There's an art to get hit in the mouth.
That is why these things are important.
You have to wake up and you have to give yourself a belief.
Everybody's focus on what won't work, what can't happen.
Why?
Because they're afraid.
They're afraid to fail.
They're afraid to try and feel like they're not enough.
So you got to stand guard of that mind by feeding your mind.
If you want things to get better, you got to get better.
If you want things to change, you gotta change.
But you gotta do it deliberately and consciously.
Who the fuck says you have to be realistic like everybody else?
Merebred people, no, don't want anything other than realistic.
I am unrealistic in my expectations.
I am relentless in the pursuit of my life's goals.
I am rigid and I never compromise.
And I'm asking you to do the same because the worst thing you could have on your deathbed
is regret
and life
this life is
it's better than any movie
there is movies are supposed to provoke
emotion
they're supposed to make you feel
something but I have a better idea
go out into the world and actually
feel it
both sides
feel whole of it that's what life is
those feelings
those emotions those
highs and those lows, those are life.
The man who loves walking will walk further than the man who loves the destination.
When you love the journey, the goals just happen.
You hit milestones as a side effect because it doesn't matter.
At that point, I don't care if I can lift this much weight or run this fast.
I mean, that's cool, but I don't love it as much as I love the journey.
I love the journey.
What does the journey consist of?
Sucking at something.
failing, getting better, learning, started over, do it again.
When you fall in love with the journey, everything else takes care of itself.
I love for you to stop ignoring what your soul is telling you, what your soul is speaking to you.
There's something called discernment, right?
We say the Holy Spirit, we say intuition, whatever it is that you want to call it.
Your soul is speaking to you.
Your soul is telling you that they ain't right.
Your soul is telling you that they ain't it.
What we do a lot of times is we ignore.
We ignore what our cell is telling us that they ain't right.
Because why?
We allow so much of our voice to control our life.
And every time of my life, why ignored what my soul was telling me?
When I ignored, my discernment was helping me,
should have helped me decide, or my intuition was screaming at me
and I ignored it, I put myself in positions to break my own heart.
Pretend is a documentary crew filming your success story,
and they're following you around right now.
What would you do?
What would you do if you knew?
that there was a crew following you around with cameras documenting your future incredible success.
And they want to catch you in the act of it all.
You would do all the right things you would have to do.
Think about that, organize it.
What you want is the opportunity to prove that if no one else has your baron.
If it's you and God against the world, you'd still win.
Because he can tell on you because you wanted bad enough.
You know that there was something on the inside of you that if only it can be seen, you can be seen.
If only it can be uncovered, somebody would see it and say,
I realize I lead it what was in you.
That's why you're aware.
Fear is the most subtle and destructive of all human diseases.
Ladies and gentlemen, fear kills dreams.
Fear kills whole.
Fear. Put people in the hospital.
Fear can aid you.
Yeah, ladies and gentlemen, can hold you back from doing something that you know within yourself that you are capable of doing, but it will paralyze you.
But I can't want it more than you.
And so many people just want it the easy way.
I'm sorry, man.
It's not.
So what they start to do is they build this narrative.
It's okay.
When the narrative should be, you need to fucking work harder.
You need to fucking discipline in your mind.
better. We need to help people more than just saying it's okay. It's okay that you're not willing to
help yourself out. That's not okay. It's not okay. It's not acceptable. Even though it's your life,
if that's acceptable, that's unacceptable. And there's a lot of people in this world, me included,
that if I accepted that, I wouldn't be anywhere. The ultimate Giajail free card. And now the world is
set up to have so many Giazell free cards. Everything.
is okay. You don't need to be there. You need to be you. And in at the end of your life, when your
family's gathered around you, they're going to look at you and thank you for all that you
contributed to the family, for the standard that you raised for you, breaking the generation
curses that will be for you. Those are your responsibilities, but you can never get there
if you're not willing to put in that work. Victory is possible for you.
at all times. You only lose when you quit.
Here's the deal. If you get to the top of the tree, all the fruit from the bottom of the top
is going to be there, son. So I don't need you focus it on cars and money and stuff. You're going
to get that. I need you to focus on why you were born in the first place. Why are you here
on earth for this particular time? What are you doing here?
Once you've had enough disappointment, sometimes your brain doesn't want to get disappointed,
It's a permanent problem.
No problem is permanent.
Only your soul is permanent.
Every problem can be solved.
Pandemics are not forever.
Winter is never forever.
War is now forever.
Nothing's forever.
Everything changes.
Everything eventually ends and something new begins.
That's part of life.
Those are the seasons of life.
But when you start believing the problems permanent,
it is because it's self-fulfilling.
As you begin to look at your dreams and look at your goals,
write this down.
Make no your vitamin.
See, most people stop short of their dreams and park and get off the highway of life because of the rejections of life.
You will always be rejected.
It's no big deal.
No, it's just, you know, to me, make no your vitamin.
Get excited about it.
No, because every time someone says no, that brings you another step to a yes.
Life is the most brutal endurance sport of all time.
And that's what you have to live by.

and love the fact that life continues to attack us
through our no fucking timeouts.
We are all very fragile in this world.
We have to know that when we die,
we die with some meaning and some purpose in this world.
The absence of purpose,
we will start digging holes in our life.
Any vice will lead to self-destruction,
holes in your life.
And so people who think like,
I don't know, I'm a human being.
I'm like, no, bro, you're a human animal.
You're a human animal until you get to a point of self-awareness and consciousness
where literally these eyes, it's just a window that you're experiencing life through
and you can respond and not react.
The majority says if you go through heartbreak,
if you're on your knees because your life is falling apart,
rush out as quickly as possible.
What I've discovered is stay in as long as possible.
because difficulty is growth in wolf's clothing.
