Starting point is 00:00:03 Discipline is doing what you hate to do, but doing it like you love it. The greatest things in the world were built by tired people. Alright, I know you're tired. I know it's hard. I know you're exhausted. The fucking wonders of the world, guess who they were built by? Exhausted people. The buildings that you admire, guess who they were designed by and built by? People that were tired. Everything great in the world was built by tired, motherf-f-fuck. So it doesn't matter if you're tired. You just have to keep going. I'd rather go too far than not far enough.
Starting point is 00:00:37 The only reward that you get from taking it easy is the fact that in the moment it's easier. But if you want results and then you basically just catch yourself slacking off and don't do anything about it, then it kind of sounds like you don't really want those results, you know? If I wanted to, I would beat every one of these guys. Only a coward says that. Don't ever use that line.
Starting point is 00:01:02 It's not a strong line. Either do or don't. Don't tell us if you wanted to. Who cares if you wanted to? Go do it. Why don't you do it? Why don't you pursue it? What are you afraid of?
Starting point is 00:01:15 What scares you? What do you not want to do? Go light it up. You know, go pursue it. Remember all those dreams you had? They all just came crashing down. Newsflash, bro. Motivation doesn't exist.
Starting point is 00:01:28 When in reality, all you needed to do was do it anyway. Regardless of how you feel, the job remains the same. So you can sit there waiting on these videos to pop up, hoping that one day, one day your mindset will change. It will never change, bro. You'll be stuck in the same place. But that falls on nobody except yourself.
Starting point is 00:01:45 You either want it bad enough or you're content with letting it slip away. You choose. Everyone's like, oh, later in life, I want to do this. Later in life, I want to do that. Later in life is turning around looking in the mirror right now. That's the later in life. And unless that turnaround is something in progress.
Starting point is 00:02:03 aggression, later in life. Ain't gonna be anything different. And if you're not doing the now, I don't have respect to later to be the person you want to look in the mirror. You're missing the story, man. Am I happy? What the fuck did you think? Happiest person in the world.
Starting point is 00:02:24 But I'm not done. It's never too late. Don't listen to these people who want to put you on the box. Don't listen to them. Be you. What I look like giving up today when tomorrow might be the day I win. Legends get scared too. I'm scared right now.
Starting point is 00:02:47 But the difference is we do it anyway. And all of you can do that every single day. It's legendary to be afraid and do it anyway. There is no such thing as failure when you try. That's the only way you lose. The way to win is to try. There is so much power in believing that everything will work out even when you don't know how or when you just believe that it will. That kind of belief, it's not naive.
Starting point is 00:03:14 It's power in the purest form. Because once you truly believe it's already yours, you stop chasing. You stop negotiating with fear. Belief is the ultimate filter. It deletes the distractions. It silences the noise. It makes the how irrelevant and keeps you locked in on the why. Most people are anxious because they keep opening the door to thoughts that don't match the life they're building.
Starting point is 00:03:33 But when your belief is sharp, everything else falls. You move different. You speak with less doubt. You stop performing and start becoming. And that's when manifestation kicks in. Not when you write it down once. Not when you talk about it, but when the belief is so strong it makes anything else feel laughable. You don't need the perfect plan.
Starting point is 00:03:49 You just need conviction. The kind that can walk through the fog like it's already seen the view. Make the belief louder than the fear and let the magic meet you in motion. Once you overcome the reflection in the mirror, you've done it. And that's why so many people are lost. are lost when I start talking. It wasn't until I changed that mentality that I became somebody. I'm training my mind and my body and my spirit so it's all one
Starting point is 00:04:15 so I can handle what life is going to throw at me. But if you can get through to doing things that you hate to do, on the other side is greatness. That's a life, man. Procrastination is a liar. It convinces you that the perfect time is coming, that the clarity will hit to me. tomorrow that the fear will fade on its own but nothing changes if you don't hit
Starting point is 00:04:43 send make the call post the content walk in the room like you belong there clarity comes after action confidence comes after reps stop waiting make a move because that's how momentum is built whenever you have this tendency to procrastinate program your subconscious mind with this automatic conditioned command do it now do it now do it now do it now the key to overcoming procrastination is to develop a sense of urgency be the kind of person who gets things done quickly be the kind of person who launches fast on a task do not be entitled earn everything choose hard work over handouts always consistent intentional hard work should be your default always choose it over handouts be self-reliant skilled and strong in mind body and
Starting point is 00:05:34 No one is coming to steal your problems. No one owes you. No one owns you. You save you. People have a hard time understanding that you have to have faith in the actual process. When we break down the overall mission into critical tasks, it sometimes is hard for us to believe that those critical tasks are going to compound and produce the end result that we're after. And so in the beginning, we have to be able to believe that
Starting point is 00:06:03 beginning we have to have a little bit of faith and make sure that we keep executing over and over and over again at a daily level and as that happens and as you do that enough you will start to see little glimmers and little sparkles of the outcome that you desire and what that does is that reinforces the belief that you are on the right track you know I think the real reason you struggle to be consistent and stay disciplined is because subconsciously you think this is still the warmer you think I think this is the part before the game really begins. The part where it's okay to fuck about and waste time because the whistle hasn't blown yet. Well, guess what?
Starting point is 00:06:42 The game began the moment you decided you want something better for yourself. The dream, the goal, whatever it is, you go to bed thinking about, the game has started. Wake the fuck up. Just do it anyway. Do it if you have a headache. Do it if you don't feel like it. Do it whenever everybody tells you you can't. Do it when you feel overwhelmed.
Starting point is 00:07:04 Do it when you feel under well. Find in your heart what you want. At the end of your life, if you could be known for a few things, what are they? And then do whatever it takes to get there, because here's what I know. I've never met anybody who says, maybe next year, or that's too hard, or I don't feel good today. I'm a little tired or it's not convenient. I've never met that person.
Starting point is 00:07:25 Well, simultaneously met the happy version of that person. The person who doesn't do it anyway, to me, I don't see full of bliss. dealing with ghosts that don't exist. When you start to look in that mirror and you look really, really deep, you start to deal with the ghosts that actually do exist. The ones that you hit away, the ones that you didn't want to deal with. Most people take those ghosts and they try to push them in that closet. And when you start pushing them in that closet, you become farther, farther away from who you are. Those are some of your most powerful tools. And they're just sitting in the closet gathering dust. You have to bring all of you because you know,
Starting point is 00:08:06 You never know what you're going to need in that particular particular situation. So the work is never about, am I better than you? Right. My focus long gone past that in terms of, when I say better than you, I'm talking about the people that when you're striving to be great, when you're striving to be excellent in what you're doing, don't get caught up in the comparison. Get caught up in doing the work. I know you're tired of waiting, so when is something finally going to change?
Starting point is 00:08:35 change. Imagine your life as an hourglass. Each grain of sand, a moment that shall never get back. How many grains have fallen while you stood frozen at the edge of your potential? We think safety lives in hesitation, but what if the most dangerous place is the space in between who you are and who you could be? Your future self is watching you right now, and they are wondering if today is the day that you will finally begin. The tragedy here is not failing. It's never knowing what might have actually happened if you just started and some things once gone never return success is the only revenge as you expand they shrink into a relevance as you get louder no one can hear them you don't beat them you cast a shadow so big
Starting point is 00:09:24 no one can see them to begin with look we all like pleasure over pain but I think What we forget sometimes is that there's a greater pleasure that can come with going through a pain. If you go through resistance and you choose resistance at the right times and you go through it, you have greater, more evolved pleasure on the other side of it. Responsibility and freedom. That relationship is really at the core of a lot of this. And the responsibility is the hard work, you know? Freedom's the Saturday.
Starting point is 00:10:23 The freedom's what we want. is what we need. Ultimately, if you're going to have lasting change in anything, you're really talking about just raising your standards. Lasting change is different than a goal. You don't always get your goals, but you always get your standards. Humans lead with belief. That may be the single most important thing to understand.
Starting point is 00:10:48 Humans lead with belief, meaning you don't do something and then believe you can do it. You won't even take the first step if you don't believe that your actions will be rewarded with results. That's why so many people are paralyzed because they think that they're not worthy, they think they're or they know they're uneducated, they know that they're not the person that they need to be in order to accomplish. And the reality is you're probably not. You are unsatisfied with where you are today. Your life is an exact reflection of the choices you've made. And it can be a hairy, hairy time then. Because the interest don't come quickly sometimes.
Starting point is 00:11:33 If it makes sense and it's all confusing and you're looking over there and you want to go, well, you want to go to entertainment or communication, you want to pick up the phone or you want to drink earlier. You know,
Starting point is 00:11:42 what are those things that come up to mask that. You got to try to hold back and say, no, I'm going to sit in this. This is a prudent penance I am taking to get to know myself. Some motivation
Starting point is 00:11:54 will come wrapped in sandpaper. Some motivation comes wrapped in sticky, ugly situation. that you didn't ask for. And that's still your why. It's not your why not. It's your why.
Starting point is 00:12:12 Some people aren't waiting to be cut. Some people are moving on their own because they feel within themselves I've got what it takes to make it. But when you decide something is a must for you, an absolute must, when you cut up any possible you say, I'm going to find the way, I'm going to make the way.
Starting point is 00:12:36 Human beings, when they resolve things, and they make a real resolution inside themselves, which is they raise the standard, and they make it a must, they find the way. There's believing that every red and yellow light turns green eventually in life. All right, so we love green lines. Yes, they affirm our way.
Starting point is 00:12:52 Go, yes. Proceed. Out of order. We don't like yellows and reds. They slow us down or stop us. Whatever your skill set is now, whatever your vision of yourself is now, you can change it. You can become anything you want to be.
Starting point is 00:13:09 That's the hard truth. If you're willing to pay the price and you can become whatever you want, you can become truly capable of the extraordinary. But you've got to go through the process of building that skill set. You've got to be willing to stare nakedly at your inadequacies to understand that you aren't yet the person that you want to be or need to be to execute against your goals, but that you can become that person and then start walking down that path and day by day build the skill set that you want. want. I need to remind you that Twitter's never win and winners never quit. Because these people have decided as they look at the future, as they look at themselves, there's a way where there's a will, there's a way for me to begin to create a way out of no way. We can create green lights tomorrow
Starting point is 00:14:14 for us by our choices today. Self-esteem, self-reliance, awareness of self. Then you've got to have all those to handle the yellow and the reds and not lay down and wallow in them. The fact is there's lots of people that have certain gifts, that doesn't mean those gifts are fully developed. And I think we come in with certain gifts as seeds, but we are the ones that have to really take the time and the energy to work and commit to fully develop those gifts so that they can really sprout and blossom. What are the choices you make within the compounding assets that our choices for our future How do we be more true and kind to our future selves?
Starting point is 00:15:08 How do we start making some choices, make choices that by hooker by crook, they're going to be brave, courageous choices that you can look in the mirror if it works and go, yep, I'm responsible. And if they don't work, you go, yep, that's on me. There is a freedom and opens up the fierce urgency of knowing we don't have forever. We don't necessarily have time. All we have to make an impact is this moment. If they really look at how they're living their life today, it's based on a set of standards, a set of beliefs that they made choices about 10, 20, 30 or more years ago.
Starting point is 00:15:44 I mean, very often we made decisions in our youth or very young about what to believe, about what we were capable of, about who we are as a person, and that becomes the glass ceiling, if you will, that controls us. The struggle is a guarantee. So you better love what you do on a day-to-day basis. The only moment that's real is right now. Now follows you. Love to dissect problems. Well, start dissecting success. Start looking and deconstructing your life, your choices.
Starting point is 00:16:19 Those people you're hanging around with those places. When things are going well, there's some science to satisfaction. And we don't just get there by dissecting our failures and when we're in a rut. We need to be confident enough to go, well, things are going well, and I can't take this for granted. What is it I'm doing? What you do today can matter tomorrow. You can be rewarded for it. You do something really well today.
Starting point is 00:16:46 You can be rewarded. You can get a green light for that later on in life. What would your life be like as you look toward the future? If you decided, I'm not going to allow my fears to stop me. Selfish and selfless at the same time. Those are not contradictions. What we can make the choices that are best for the I, that are also best for the we.
Starting point is 00:17:20 I'm just saying whatever you really want, wants don't get met consistently. Standards do. I want people to understand is, okay, so if nature only gave you two things to motivate you, pleasure and pain, why would you eliminate half of them? And so most people think that life's about avoiding the pain.
Starting point is 00:18:00 I'm here to tell you right now, in a very controlled fashion, it is about really, experiencing the pain, relentless, I'm going to make this happen if I have to break myself and I'm not afraid to lean into that because I know how powerful it is. If someone can make that dream become a reality, that it's possible that you can make your dream become reality. And so as you begin to look at where you want to go, beginning to embrace that, it's possible.
Starting point is 00:18:32 I spend 80% of my time focused on the beautiful things in my life, the things in my life, grateful for, the beautiful things that I want to bring into existence all of it. 20% of the time, though, I'm in the darkness, man. Are you procrastinating? Are you invading your own greatness? Are you surrounding yourself with people that can nourish you? Are you challenging yourself? Are you experimenting? Are you learning something different? Is your life an adventure or is it boring? Pain plus reflection equals progress.
Starting point is 00:19:11 Are you crafting, designing, and you? intentionally creating your life or are you just coasting in the passenger seat of your life which is just dragging you and driving you wherever it's taking you and so it's the difference between being the driver or being in the passenger seat and so to me living intentionally is what allows you to live a life of by design you just don't allow it to control your life anymore. So you have your cherished wound and I have mine in our hearts. But don't try to overcome. Just make a decision that you're not going to give an other inch.
Starting point is 00:20:00 You're forgiving yourself and you give yourself a gift, not to carry that. And that's the thing about when you achieve success, it may not match your picture, right? right it may not match your vision of what you thought but you've got to be flexible but once you get there no matter how old you are you've got to deal with the trappings of success complacency arrogance laziness and to do that successfully you have to really face the ruthless reality ruthless truth that what you're getting in your life is a direct result of your beliefs your beliefs are controlling your thoughts your thoughts are controlling
Starting point is 00:20:46 your actions your actions are controlling what the experience you're getting out in the real world. So back it all the way to the beliefs again. We've got to find out what are the beliefs creating the reality you have, change those beliefs. You're going to have different thoughts, you're going to have different actions, you're going to have different results.
Starting point is 00:21:02 It's going to be this domino effect. That we truly have influence in our more than our environment. Our environment affects us for sure. It plants seeds and weeds into our life, but there is still a choice. And I think even if you feel there isn't a choice, Simply by accepting that there is, it means you have a chance to get out of that.
Starting point is 00:21:24 When you believe you've exhausted all options, remember this, you have it. To stay in touch with those aspects of us that come naturally as children is part of the challenge of growing and maturing into adulthood. First and foremost, that really help you hold on to those essential aspects of childhood, a willingness to suspend disbelief, a willingness to believe in yourself, yourself, a willingness to believe that if you can dream it up, you can get it done. Be willing to suck. Because as you're willing to suck, you're actually becoming more creative. You're becoming more daring. They're becoming more experienced. But I'm afraid.
Starting point is 00:22:06 Guess what? We all get afraid where we want to do something we've never done before. It's called leaving our comfort zone. Our comfort zone feels comfortable because we've been living in it for quite a while. is who do I want to be? Who is the person that I need to be that I can love, that I want to love, that I want to give more love to, like what parts of growth are there still available?
Starting point is 00:22:44 If you literally put your hand on your heart and just go, I am exactly where I need to be, you stop getting lost in the future, you stop worrying about the past and you realize that everything you need to learn, everything you need right now to make a change, it's all right now, it's all right here.
Starting point is 00:23:31 fight it, face it. And when the feelings come up, invite it in. It's okay, there is no forgiveness without rage. You got to feel that rage. Don't be afraid to rage. The opposite of depression is expression. Passion is an antidote to self-doubt. Because when you're in your passion space,
Starting point is 00:23:59 you don't have time to have all that negative. negative talk you're your passion space you're you're leaning forward there things like I'm not good enough it's not good to work out this stuff works for other people all of these kinds of negative thoughts keep people shut down they don't go for the dreams they react to life they kind of crawl through life with no enthusiasm no sort of energy and no belief in themselves and the possibilities of something better and exactly what I need to be you realize you're not ahead of them and also you only get ahead of yourself by first being presently I think self-love is all about pushing yourself
Starting point is 00:25:32 demanding of yourself that you stretch and reach your battles what's your why why do you wake up in the morning was that some of your best motivation might come wrapped in sandpaper some of your best inspiration comes with some pricks and some nails and some thorns around it. Some of your best inspiration came in an experience that you didn't ask for, you didn't want, and you never want to have a game. Some of your best inspiration,
Starting point is 00:26:12 some of the very thing that's fueled your soul to get you here came in an experience that you dare not wish on your enemy. The reason why you don't give 120% because you ain't got a why for what you do. One thing I can, I can't give you ambition, I can't make you want something, right? I can't want it for you.
Starting point is 00:26:31 But once you want something, now you plug into something very real. You start putting all this stuff together and it's like, okay, essentially, everything falls on my shoulders. If I want to be great, it's all down to me whether I execute on that or not. It's all down to my ability to say, this is the thing I want, this is the gap and skill set between who I am today and who I need to become. Rather than accept personal accountability for why things didn't work out or maybe a relationship didn't work out or a job or whatever, we often point the finger. And you'll see it as very common in today's society. I've even caught myself at sometimes.
Starting point is 00:27:20 When things didn't happen, maybe you want to mentally, you know, point the finger at someone else. This is why this didn't happen. And I have to catch myself and reassign blame. Because the minute you're deflecting, the minute you're redirecting someone else's direction, all you've done is mask an insecurity in yourself. And you've taken a fear of the realization
Starting point is 00:27:39 that the shortcomings lied with you and try to cover it up. told you that fear is like a it's like a burning fire a small fire and the minute that you refuse to address it all you're doing is you're putting wood on your pouring gasoline thoughts become things is such a small part of the picture it's actually a myth because it's your feelings and your emotions are what manifests the universe is delivering your experience through how you feel it's not the the Tesla on the vision board the idea of moving towards that I mean that's fantastic
Starting point is 00:28:15 but it's the feeling the Tesla will give you, that feeling that drops down into your heart space. And with that comes the emotional responsibility to guide your energy, that you can rise above fear, you can embrace love, and you can remember your power. And this is why it's so important that we don't push to the side however we're feeling and we lean into the wholeness of our experience.
Starting point is 00:28:42 So when you blame somebody else, or you make them responsible for how you're feeling, then you're actually disowning your power. You're handing over your energy to somebody else. You really have to set your mind to acquiring a certain set of skills with all the efficiency in the world. That you can acquire those skills, first of all, that anything is possible, as long as you set your mind to it.
Starting point is 00:29:06 And that the most, and this is probably the most important lesson that I learned, that what is working against you is your own mind. A good person will not take more. will not take more from the table of life than they think they're worth or they think they deserve. And so you have this governor on your identity. So what happens is our, it's like a thermostat. Our lives get going. You start doing really well. If we're a 75 degree and our life gets to 85 and 90 degrees, unconsciously we go, we don't know we're doing it. We start to cool life back down to get it back to where we're comfortable. The reverse is also true. Things start to go really bad and you're broke and you're struggling.
Starting point is 00:29:44 You find a way to heat your life back up to what you think you're worth and you deserve. So the The way we alter our life, it's sure we got to alter our behavior and our relationships and our circumstances, but the only way it's permanent is that we alter that governor, that thermostat, and we start to believe we're worth 85 degrees of life, 95 degrees of life, 10010 degrees of life, and there's ways we can alter that. Say, are you willing to just jump? Because when you do, then you're willing to spread your wings, and you're willing to do something and be something different, and you're willing to do something different, and you're willing to to get to the edge knowing you might fall but also knowing you might fly. Working out is not life. To me it's not about the body. It's completely about the mind.
Starting point is 00:30:34 When you're starting your day at 4.30 in the morning, whatever you do that, the rest of your day, no matter what happens is a breeze. You've tackled the hardest part of your day. No matter what goes on, sometimes it's just showing up and being able to push yourself a little bit more than yesterday. It's called finding your heart. You know, when you find your heart every day, man, man. Life is a lot better. Because what happens is you're either the CEO of your life or you're going to be someone else. You're going to be life's employee.
Starting point is 00:31:00 And you access presence by bringing awareness to the present moment. It's that power of now. That's your most pivotal point of power. That's your direct access to the universe at all times. And the more present you can be, the more you can release any other resistance that is holding you back energetically from allowing your desires to fly.
Starting point is 00:31:27 into your reality. Is that you put yourself in circumstances that are demanding of you past what you think your capacity is and when you succeed at them you build a new water line. You do. You throw yourself out there past where you're comfortable and you do an 85 degree or behavior and you knock it out of the park and you go, your brain starts to believe it repetitiously when you start doing that. You build a new line now you're 85 degrees.
Starting point is 00:32:10 That's number one. The second way though is association. If you're around people, whatever that endeavor is, if it's a sport, you're you're a, you're in or if it's a business or your faith or your peace. If you begin to associate with people who live in that space at a higher temperature than you, through association you get heated up. Take the setbacks and turn them into valuable information. When you think within the growth mindset framework of developing your abilities over time in the
Starting point is 00:32:43 framework of who you are, all of us have. unique things to contribute if we stick to what we're doing. Every day if you wake up, you don't take control of your day and you don't dominate the day as best you can start to finish, life is going to own you. You know, if you're waking up with a negative attitude, you have to be able to step back and self-assize, why am I on a bad move. And you have to work from that minute forward to build that tool in your belt, if you will, to be able to assess it, address it, apply it if you will, and then move forward. If you can do that, that life gets exponentially easier and easier and easier every day. Before you know it, you're working with greater efficiency, more confidence, more determination,
Starting point is 00:33:23 and you set yourself on a path to truly self-generate success, but more importantly, you're happy. Groundwork of beginning to build self-confidence is to begin to keep the promises you make to you. And that's why it's important to begin to even make small problems. You're going to get up at a certain time in the morning. Not only do it, but then give yourself credit, say, I did what I said I was going to do. You're constantly being influenced and moved by what other people think about you. It means there's a deficiency in what you think about you. The number one addiction in the world today is the addiction to other people's approval.
Starting point is 00:33:55 And that's because we don't approve of ourselves. You don't have to allow yourself to be a victim, even if you've been victimized. Right? Like, you can transcend that and you can look back and go, what could I have done differently? Oh my gosh, I could have done all these things. Awesome. I'm now in control of it, right? Because being victimized is inevitable.
Starting point is 00:34:12 But being a victim, that's a choice, right? It's like pain is inevitable, suffering is a choice. Remember that you have this incredible power of presence within you, then you empower yourself to create anything it is in your life that you desire. Forgiveness is the fragrance. Let the violet sheds on the heel that has crushed it. That's divine love. Because when you advance confidently in the direction of your own dream,
Starting point is 00:35:04 and endeavor to live the life which you have imagined, you will meet with a success unexpected in common hours. He'd only ask myself one simple question. What's my goal moving forward? The only thing that matters is moving forward. And so, as cheesy as it is, the only thing that any of us have is right now, this minute. And what could you do in this minute that would be the most fulfilling?
Starting point is 00:35:33 To me, this is the road to true freedom. Stop doing the things that you know are wrong. that you could stop doing. There are things that you're doing that you know you shouldn't do. Now, some of those you won't stop doing. For whatever reason, you don't have the discipline, or maybe there's a secondary payoff, or you don't believe it's necessary,
Starting point is 00:36:08 or it's too much of a sacrifice, or you're angry or resentful or afraid. Who knows? So forget about those for now. But there's another subset that you could stop doing. It might be a little thing. Well, that's fine. Stop doing it.
Starting point is 00:36:22 You see what happens. So once you realize that humans are adaptation machines, that we can learn anything, now it's like, okay, whatever you want to do, you can do it. As long as you're willing to pay that price, I'm not saying that it's not going to be hard. It's going to be very, very hard. I'm just saying that it is doable and that you will receive a return on investment in your energies. And that's what people need to know and believe to the core of the lead, that my time in this direction will be rewarded.
Starting point is 00:36:52 To believe that you need what you don't have is the definition of it said. To believe that you need what you don't have. Because you're already here, so you've already proven that you don't need it. So to go around believing that I can't be happy, fulfilled, unless I get the stuff that I don't already have, it's a complete and total illusion. The thing that gives you the most energy in life is something that you have no natural,
Starting point is 00:37:25 I think what you have to do, and this is part of humility, is you have to look around you within your sphere of influence, like the direct sphere of influence, and fix the things that announce themselves as in need of repair. What's important is that you learn how to distinguish between chaos and order and to be able to act in a manner that produces order. The only thing you need to know right now, the point is not to avoid the pain. You need to stop. asking yourself what's the least you can do to get good and you need to start asking yourself what's the most you can bear to become great the participants reason why is if they know I want to achieve X and the reason why the motive for their action motivation motive for their action is a reason beyond just themselves chances are there will do more to achieve that success than if it was just left up
Starting point is 00:38:40 But there are some people that are born, you know, with incredible drive. They just have this insatiable drive and they'll just, I'll do whatever it takes for the things that I want. There's no excuse whatsoever for not getting at what it is that you should be doing. It's absolutely reprehensible to justify your inaction with a catastrophe that extracts mercy from other people. And I'm saying that if you know anybody that had some goals, some dream something they wanted to do and they did it deny saying that you know in your heart that it's someone has done it then you can do it it's possible what I say to people who really want to access the transition from ambition to meaning if they really want to access it
Starting point is 00:39:46 is to get your thoughts off of yourself once you understand the whole point is to let the suffering and the pain harden you into becoming the version of yourself that you need to become in order to execute at the highest level to be world-class at anything and stop avoiding it, stop being afraid of it, and start understanding for what it really is, which is the thing that shapes you. In the game of life, where it's health, wealth, relationships, career, business, spirituality, fun experiences,
Starting point is 00:40:30 you have to decide what level the game go on and play it. Is it the great school level, the kindergarten level, the high school level, the university level, the pro level. Because each one of those levels requires a totally different mindset and totally different skills. You have to first take 100% responsible for your life, give up being victim, then you have to get clear about what is my purpose? One of the biggest fears is of the unknown and uncertainty of the future.
Starting point is 00:40:56 But everything's uncertain. We're trying to create certainty in an uncertain world and stop being afraid of uncertainty. Uncertainty is what's exciting. Like with sleepwalking through life, that we find ways to cancel out our dreams, that I think that but is a dream killer, that a lot of things that we want to do, a lot of places we would like to go, a lot of things we would like to experience. And we just stop at but. But is an argument for our limitations.
Starting point is 00:41:33 And when we argue for our limitations, we get to keep them. To get so good that you cannot be ignored. Cannot be ignored. So if you're being ignored, by the way, the world has told you that you've not yet gotten to where you want to get to. And I've seen time and time again that if, people do put forward a vision for what they regard as worthy of pursuit. It's like given the difficult preconditions of existence, is there anything that you could conceive of that you would regard as sufficiently worthwhile so that you would be motivated
Starting point is 00:42:09 to pursue it? What you do is you pick up your and you embrace it. You understand it, you accept it, as I had to go through these things that I had to go through in order for me to get to this place today. And the evidence for that is that I did. You don't need any more evidence. You did.
