Every man at some point in his life is going to lose a battle.
He's going to fight and he's going to lose.
But what makes him a man is in the midst of that battle, he does not lose himself.
There are two pains in life.
The pain of discipline or the pain of regret.
Discipline weighs ounces. Regret weighs tons.
One hurts now and the other hurts forever.
Hard day's easy life.
Comfort is a liar.
Every handout, every shortcut, every excuse only delays your struggle.
The easy choice today makes for a harder tomorrow.
Comfort charges interest and the bill always comes due.
Heart hurts now but freeze you later.
Every risk you take, every beat of sweat, every drop of blood is a step towards a life.
worth living.
So basically a lot of us aren't prepared for life.
We get up willy-nilly and his hope life is going to happen.
It is going to happen.
What's going to happen with the prepared mind or unprepared mind?
Most people attack life with the unprepared mind.
What I do is I try to account for all things that could happen,
might happen, probably will happen, and then the unknowns.
There's a choice that.
that we have to make as people as individuals.
If you want to be great at something as a choice
that you have to make, we all can be masters
at our craft, but you have to make a choice.
What I mean by that is there are inherent sacrifices
that come along with them.
Family time, handing out your friends,
being a great friend, being a great son,
nephew, whatever case would be.
There's sacrifices that come along with making that decision.
Would you say to someone who's going through a string of bad days, or bad weeks or bad months?
Say it's okay.
You're not alone.
I know.
You're not alone.
Stick in what you're doing right now.
And in those hard times, believing they're going to lead to good times,
it just creates a lot less friction in your life.
I think whenever we're going through a hard time, we just want it to end.
But it's those moments that allow us to appreciate the good ones.
Don't change the world. Don't fix the world out there. Fix this one. Fix by, you walk through this
lifetime, you meet your friends, you meet your partner, you meet your colleagues, whatsoever.
Then you're being triggered. Why are you being triggered?
Remove whatever is triggering you. Remove it. One demon gun.
Continue walking through lifetime and you see some advertising, you see something's going on.
Why is it triggering you? Why is it bothering you? Why is it bothering?
you. Face that demon, remove it, gone. Until what? Until you're okay to walk through this lifetime.
It's all okay. There's nothing that shakes you too much anymore. How good you are, I don't care how
talented you are. I don't care how much you work on yourself. There are some times when things
are not going to go right. They just are not going to go right. There are times with anything that
can't happen will happen. Murphy's law will be knocking at your door.
Why? I don't know why. That's called life.
And you have to deal with it.
Sometimes your life will be in a slump, just like sports.
Some of the best shooters can't hit baskets different times in games.
They get in a slump. Do they sit on the sideline and say, you know, I just didn't hit a basket today?
No. They continue to execute.
I suggest to you that if you are facing a challenge, don't stop.
Stay busy. Work your plan.
Continue to do those things that you know that work for you after you have evaluated yourself in the situation.
Every single one of you who is struggling right now, you need to understand this.
What you're going through right now is necessary.
It's necessary because what's happening right now is you are forging the skills.
You are forging the determination.
You are forging the grit.
You are forging the fortitude.
You are forging all the fucking things that nobody else is gaining because they're sitting on their hands and you're willing to push through.
This fire you're feeling, this pressure you're feeling, this frustration you're feeling, this is what is going to make you into the weapon that you are going to become that will then build the life that you are out to build.
It will forge you. It will teach you the skills and it will equip you for reality when your peers and everybody else will be unprepared.
And now long clock goes off at four or five in the morning.
Your mind says no. You just say, this is what we do. It's what we do now.
Because to get to where you want to go, the amount of pain involved of how many times you're going to have to do something that you don't want to do.
There's gonna be more times you do something that you don't want to do than you are gonna want to do it
And that's that that's your new norm and then once you do this over and over and over again
It becomes like breathing I don't want to live this lifestyle, but to get to the other side of this
I have to you're empty you can fill yourself up with whatever you'd like in fact
It's probably best that you're empty it makes it easier to be reborn
Do you think
I can be reborn.
Don't just stand there.
You still have work to do.
You are not ready.
I know.
Like everyone else,
you want to learn the way to win.
But never to accept the way to lose.
To accept defeat.
To learn to die is to be liberated from it.
So when tomorrow comes,
you must free your ambitious mind
and learn the art of time.
The most beautiful things and the authentic road
and building what's for you and who you are
and why you're here on this earth takes time.
And that means you have to become okay
with the empty space inside
that you really want to fill with urgency.
Because really it's not empty, it's just in its infancy.
What is for you is in its infancy.
It's not empty.
empty. Guess what? You're going to a new level. New levels, new devils. I just want you to know
that it's worth it. When you climb to a new level in your life, you do face new devils, new challenges,
even shocking setbacks that take place or people that let you down as you climb. That's okay,
as long as you know they're coming. I want you to know that fighting off those new devils is worth it,
and you become stronger every single time you do it. Most of the learning in life comes from
experience. People say, well, do you learn more when you win or when you lose from failures or
successes? I learned a lot from both. And you know why? They're unique experiences. Let me tell you
where I've never learned anything. Treading water, doing nothing. There's nothing worse than taking
another journey around this earth exactly the same way, exactly the same experiences. Life doesn't
give us what we would like, what we wish for. It doesn't even always give us what we dream
for. It'll give us what we're willing to fight for. And these devils are coming. And I'm not
going to let that person derail my dream, my vision, my life, or me getting to know who I'm fully
capable of being.
What's it going to take for something within you to change? There comes a time when you need to
stop scrolling on Instagram for the answers and just go turn yourself into a better person.
You know, someone out there wants it really bad, and all the work they're putting in right now
hasn't paid off at all. But they are winning. They're more inspired by the pain of their
own run than they are by watching someone else's on social media. They're not concerned with generating
the perfect excuse because they're too busy generating the evidence that they are the person they
claim to be. That somebody will be something undeniable. And I hope that somebody is you.
I'm ready. You won't. It's a leap of faith. That's all it is, Miles. A leap of faith.
We knew that this was not going to be an easy path.
We knew that 99% of people who are trying to obtain what we're trying to obtain don't make it.
And it's for this very reason.
So we really shouldn't be surprised.
We are right where we need to be.
We are facing the difficulties that we need to be facing.
All we must do is remain strong.
We must maintain our faith in God.
We must continue to make an honest effort.
We must continue to put our best foot forward.
We do not need to win this war today.
We do not need to build room by tomorrow.
We must strengthen our own kingdom within, strengthen our energy, become closer to our origin,
and there will be no external force that could ever contend with us.
Life is a storm, my young friend.
You will bask in the sunlight one moment.
He shouted on the rocks the next.
What makes you a man is what you do when that storm comes.
You must look into that storm and shout as you did and wrong.
Do your worst.
For I will do mine.
Then the face will know you as we know you, the man.
Darkness is a powerful ally.
If you know how to befriend it,
you will not break the rock tonight,
or tomorrow, or the next day,
or perhaps ever.
You said to break the rock.
I said to try to break the rock.
but evil is as eternal as this rock
even if you break the rock
there will be pebbles break the pebbles
there will be sand
and evil remains
you cannot chase that
no matter how much you train
except what you cannot change
it is not your burden to bear
life is meant to be lived with others
it is too hard
to do it alone.
Trust the pace of your process.
You might feel like you're behind,
like it's taking longer than it should.
But who told you it has to happen now?
This season is preparing you.
It's asking you to slow down
and let go of the things that are outside of your control.
The things you're waiting for
are happening in ways that you can't even see yet.
So just be here,
be here. What's meant for you won't miss you, but you have to be ready when it arrives.
The reason that so many of you continue to feel miserable every single day is because you cannot
come to terms with the fact that life is hard. That life is suffering. The reason life never meets
your expectations is because you have the wrong expectations. You expect it to be comfortable,
you expect it to be easy. It's going to be like that 5% of the time, but 95% of the time. But 95,
percent of the time it's difficult it's challenging it's a struggle so long as you
continue to sit around waiting for life to be sunshine and rainbows waiting for
it to be easy waiting to catch a break you're going to be miserable what you
should do instead is accept the challenges of life and take them head-on decide
once and for all that yes life is hard but I'm going to be harder well the truth
is you know sometimes I do get a little scared you know but I'm in that ring
You're getting hit on.
I've always heard so much I can't even lift them.
And I think, guys, I wish this guy would hit me on the chin,
so I don't feel nothing anymore.
Then there's another side that comes out that isn't so scared.
It's another side that like, wants to take more.
It wants to go that one more round.
Because, like, going to one round, when you don't think you can,
This makes all the difference in your life.
You know what I mean?
Let's cut the fluff.
Most of you watching this are asleep.
You think you're awake because you're busy.
You go through the motions, check the boxes,
and convince yourself that someday you'll have the life you want.
But let me tell you something.
You're lying to yourself.
The truth is brutal, but here it is.
You're not losing because of a life you want.
losing because of a lack of talent, intelligence, or luck. You're losing because you're soft.
Because every single day, you choose comfort over discipline. Right now, someone out there
is grinding harder than you. They're doing the work you avoid. They're building the skills
you ignore. They're turning the dreams you only talk about into reality. And while you're
making excuses, they're making progress. This world doesn't
care about your excuses. It doesn't care about your potential. It cares about what you do.
If you're not willing to outwork the man who lives to work, don't expect to win. This isn't
just a wake-up call. It's a challenge. Do you have the guts to face yourself and admit that
you're not doing enough? Because until you do, nothing will change. Here's the first hard truth.
You are where you deserve to be.
If you're broke, struggling, or stuck,
it's because of the choices you've made.
I know that stings, but until you take responsibility,
you'll stay exactly where you are.
The second truth, there's no such thing as good enough.
The moment you settle, you lose.
The moment you say, this is fine.
Someone hungrier, tougher, and more focused,
will take what you left on the table.
And here's the third truth.
No one is coming to save you.
Stop waiting for the perfect opportunity,
the perfect timing,
or someone to open a door for you.
The only person who can change your life is you.
You want to succeed?
Then stop complaining about how hard it is.
Life's hard for everyone.
What separates the winners from the losers
is how they respond.
Winners take the pain and turn,
it into power. Losers let it break them. So ask yourself, are you fighting for your future,
or are you just surviving? Because if you're not fighting, you're already losing. Let's talk about
why most people fail. It's not because they lack talent. It's not even because they're lazy.
It's because they can't handle the truth about themselves. Most people spend their lives running
from failure, from discomfort, and most importantly, from responsibility.
They blame their circumstances, their upbringing, or other people.
They hide behind distractions like Netflix, social media, or endless planning instead of doing.
But here's what you need to understand.
Everything you want is on the other side of pain.
Growth doesn't happen in comfort zones.
Success doesn't come from wishing for it.
It comes from sacrificing for it.
Think about this.
Every time you hit snooze, skip a workout, or procrastinate, you're building a habit.
And that habit is teaching your brain that it's okay to quit.
The more you quit, the easier it gets.
And before you know it, quitting becomes your default setting.
You want to know why you're failing.
Look at your habits.
Look at how you spend your time.
Look at the excuses you make.
That's where failure starts.
But here's the good news.
If failure is a choice, so is success.
You can flip the script any time you want.
But it starts with owning your actions.
No one else can do that for you.
Let me make this simple.
Winning is a game of consistency, not perfection.
Stop waiting to feel ready, inspired, or motivated.
Those feelings are fleeting.
What lasts is discipline.
Here's the formula.
1. Commit.
Decide right now that you're done with excuses.
Burn the bridges to your old habits and make a plan that scares you.
If it doesn't scare you, it's not big enough.
2. Simplify.
Cut the nonsense from your life.
If it doesn't move you closer to your goals, it's a distraction.
3. Outwork everyone.
Don't just show up.
Show up early.
Stay late.
Put in the hours that others won't.
Success doesn't care how you feel.
It only cares about what you produce.
Four, fail forward.
Stop being afraid of mistakes.
Every failure is a lesson.
Every setback is an opportunity to grow.
You don't need luck.
You don't need talent.
What you need is grit.
The willingness to do the work day after day when no one's watching.
When no one's clapping and when nothing seems to be working,
That's how you win.
Listen to me.
The life you want is not waiting for you.
It's not sitting there, ready to fall into your lap.
You have to go out and take it.
But here's the thing.
Most people don't realize.
Time is running out.
Every second you waste is a second you'll never get back.
Every day you put off the work is a day someone else pulls ahead.
Stop pretending you have all the time in the world.
You don't.
Clock is ticking, and the only question is, are you going to take action or are you going to let it slip away?
This is your moment, not tomorrow, not next week, right now.
2025 is coming, and for some of you, it doesn't feel like hope.
It feels like another mountain to climb, another year of dragging the weight of everything you've been through.
Maybe 2024 wasn't kind to you.
more than it gave. Maybe it left you with scars you're still learning to carry. Breakups,
tragedies, losses, failures. Maybe this year chewed you up and spit you out and now you're
standing at the edge of a new year, wondering if you even have the strength to try again.
But listen to me. 2025 doesn't have to be a continuation of your pain. It can be a transformation.
It can be the year you stop letting what happened to you define what's ahead of you. It can be the year you turn every
every ounce of pain, every heartbreak, every loss into fuel.
Here's the thing about hardship.
It doesn't have to break you.
It can build you.
The worst years of your life?
They can be the foundation for the best ones, but only if you're willing to make that choice.
So how do you make 2025 the year you rise?
How do you turn tragedy into triumph, heartbreak into growth, failure into momentum?
Let's break it down.
First, you have to let go.
Not in the passive way people tell you to move on,
but in the active way of choosing not to carry the weight of what you can't control.
The past is heavy, and if you bring it into 2025, it will crush you.
Yes, what happened to you was unfair.
Yes, it hurt.
Yes, you didn't deserve it.
But holding on to the anger, the regret, the why me will keep you chained to it.
And you can't build a new life while you're still holding on to the ruins of the old one.
Letting go doesn't mean forgetting.
It doesn't mean pretending it didn't happen.
It means acknowledging it, learning from it, and then choosing to move forward.
Pain has a way of making you feel small.
It convinces you that you're broken.
you that you're broken, that you're not enough, that you're defined by what happened to you.
But you are not your tragedy. You are not your breakup. You are not your failure. You are the person
who survived them. And now, you get to decide who you want to be.
2025 is the year you rewrite the story you've been telling yourself. Stop calling yourself a victim.
Stop calling yourself broken. Start calling yourself.
Becoming. Becoming stronger. Becoming wiser. Becoming someone who refuses to let the worst parts of their life define the best ones.
People love to talk about setting goals at the start of the year. But goals without meaning are just tasks. They're empty.
If you want to make 2025 your best year, stop focusing on what you want to achieve and start focusing on why you want to achieve it.
Instead of saying, I want to lose weight.
Say, I want to feel strong in my body because it's the only one I have.
Instead of saying, I want to make more money.
Say, I want to create financial freedom.
So I can take care of myself and the people I love.
Tie your goals to something deeper, something that matters.
And you'll be far less likely to abandon them when things get tough.
2025 won't be your best year.
It will be your best year because of the small, consistent choices you make every single day.
It's not about overhauling your life overnight.
It's about making the decision every morning to be 1% better than you were yesterday.
You don't have to run a marathon in January.
Start by walking a mile.
You don't have to change your entire career in one leap.
Start by learning a new skill.
You don't have to rebuild every broken relationship.
Start by being honest about how you feel.
Small steps.
Taking consistently.
need to massive change.
The things that broke you in 2024,
the heartbreak, the loss, the tragedy,
those things have shaped you.
They've given you a perspective,
a strength, a depth that you didn't have before.
And now you have a choice.
You can let those things make you bitter,
or you can let them make you better.
Use your pain as a compass.
Let it guide you toward what matters.
If you lost someone, honor them by living fully.
If you failed, use it as a lesson to come back stronger.
If you had your heart broken, let it teach you what you deserve and don't deserve in the future.
Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optionate.
Choose to grow from it.
Time is the most precious thing you have and you don't get it back.
2024 might have stolen time from you.
Time spent grieving, hurting, recovering.
But 2025 is a clean slate.
This year, you take back control of your time.
That means saying no to the things that waste it.
The people who drain you, the habits that numb you,
the distractions that steal your focus.
And it means saying yes to the things that matter.
The relationships that uplift you.
The habits that energize you, the work that fulfills you.
If you don't take control of your time, someone else will.
Make 2025 the year you protect it fiercely.
Finally, and most importantly, believe.
Believe that your best days aren't behind you.
Believe that 2025 can be the year you rise,
the year you heal, the year you build something extraordinary.
Because here's the truth.
You've already survived your worst days.
You've already faced what you thought you couldn't handle.
2,025 is your year.
Not because it will be easy, but because you will make it so.
Not because it will be perfect, but because you will rise to meet it, no matter what it brings.
So take a deep breath.
Let go of the weight you've been careful.
and step into this new year with the quiet, unshakable belief that your best is yet to come.
Because it is...
Keep your head when all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you.
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, but make allowance for their doubting too.
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting or being lied about, don't be.
Don't deal in lies or being hated don't give way to hating if you can dream and not make dreams your master
If you can think and not make thoughts your aim if you can meet triumph and disaster and treat those two impostors just the same
Or watch the things you gave your life to broken and
stoop and build them up with worn-out tools.
If you can make one heap of all your winnings
and risk it on one turn of pitch and toss,
and lose and start again at your beginnings,
and never breathe a word about your loss.
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
except the will which says to them,
hold on.
If you can fill the unfreeing,
the unforgiving minute with 60 seconds worth of distance run.
Yours is the earth and everything that's in it.
And, which is more, you'll be a man, my son.
Basically two kinds of people in life.
They're winners and they're losers.
And the definition is this.
Losers take things that happen to them
and that they feel inside that suck
and they use it for self or outward destruction.
Winners take whatever they feel.
They feel it, it sucks, and they transmute it into things that are good for themselves and for the world.
Period.
End of story.
2025 is the year that we start fresh.
It's the year that we make happen.
And lastly, it's the year that we change everything.
The thing they don't tell you is the long way is the shortcut, because the shortcut never gets you there.
And so people quit when things get hard.
because the thought of things being hard forever feels unbearable.
But that's a lie, because nothing's hard forever.
You either quit, it gets easier, or you get harder.
But no matter what, the heart always ends.
And the only way you lose is if you quit before seeing it through.
And so what I try to tell myself on them in those kind of harder times is this is for now, not forever.
Look, you have a project that's due at work that you don't feel like working on right now.
Doesn't matter that you don't feel like working on right now.
You impose discipline in the situation and you do what you're supposed to do.
You have an exercise.
You need to work out this morning.
You haven't worked out yet.
You wake up in the morning.
You need to go work out.
You don't feel like working out.
It doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter that you don't feel like working out.
It doesn't matter.
It's not part of the calculation.
Discipline overrides that.
Discipline trumps your feelings.
And that is what you need to apply as a person, as a normal human being, no matter what you're doing in your life,
you need to let discipline be your guide, not how you feel.
That's what we need to do.
And if you do that, you're going to end up with freedom.
You're going to end up with freedom across the board.
Discipline equals freedom.
That's what I have been saying for a long time.
It is 100% factually true.
If you allow your feelings to dictate what you do, you will end up being a.
slave to your feelings at a minimum. But if you utilize discipline in your life, you will end up with the ultimate freedom in everything that you do.
So that is why you as a person out there doing your job, whatever that job may be, impose discipline in your life, it will set you free.
Don't get lost. Don't get lost and drift apart. Don't lose your sight. At the moment we are talking about, you want to be.
that spark to grow more.
So that means you want something to grow, you need energy to get there.
Energy is being directed by the intensity and the deaths of your intention.
Listen, for now, put your head down and just work.
Ignore the noise, ignore the distractions.
Prove to yourselves that you can really do it.
And then go show the rest of the world that you did.
Life will test you.
Not once, but over and over again.
The question isn't if the chaos will come, it's when.
And when it does, you have a choice.
Let it break you or let it build you.
You can sit in storm and curse the rain, or you can rise
and prove to yourself that no storm lasts forever.
Strength isn't found in avoiding the chaos.
It's forged in facing it head on.
So get to work, rise above,
and when the dust settles,
you'll stand taller than ever before.
Well, I think there's no greater waste of time
than defending your actions to people
whose life you don't want.
I think every day about how it would be such a shame
to get to the end of my life
and realize that I didn't achieve my goals
because I listened to the opinions of people,
who are out that.
Regret things I could have done differently or learned sooner.
There's so much knowledge out there, so much information, so many ways to get better.
And we make so many mistakes.
We are the product of our mistakes.
And oftentimes the lesson is sitting in front of our face there to be learned.
But we miss it.
Or we don't pay attention to it.
Or we think we know better until it.
punches us in the face. The most important thing to learn is that we have so much to learn.
We all do. You have to open your mind, free your mind, so that you can learn and make real progress.
Inside of every man and woman is a fire and this fire burns very bright. And if you look at it
this way, that your fire might burn just as bright as mine, but it burns at a different
color, then you have to do what's right for you. You have to follow your own radiance in life.
And when people tend to start living other people's dreams out, why is that? Because you are
not living your radiance. You are not listening to your radiance. You are living someone else's
dreams that they have for you. What you might be doing is running someone else's playbook for
your life. And if you're running someone else's playbook for your life, then you are going to feel
incongruent with your radiance if your fire is burning orange but someone says go do this
blue thing while you are doing something it is not the thing this going to give you a
sense of fulfillment and passion and therefore you are dying a slow death you are
committing suicide at the slowest rate possible you want to change your life and live
better why you must know your why and you must have it be firm
What's your purpose? What's your gift? What's your talent? What's your reason in the morning?
If you don't have one, you will find that you will default to the ones given to you by people
that don't have to carry the burden of regret that you do. And you will. You can't advocate the throne.
Only you can assume that world.
See, here's what I'm looking at. What are the uses for your life right now that you haven't even reached for you?
Yeah. See, I believe that when you don't have enough encouragement to act on your greens or ideas or you're not enlightened enough, that life will act on you.
You've got to continue to work on yourself personally, to work on yourself professionally, to continue to achieve technical mastery of the information that's out here.
You've got to set high standards that will begin to set the pace.
You've got to decide to be relentless.
You've got to decide never to give up.
You've got to find some reasons within yourself that will give you the stamina when life catches you.
you on the blind side to get back up again to keep on calling and coming back again and again
and again who wouldn't want to do things over until you have it perfect but the fact is you don't
get that chance you get one shot we get one shot at this gig right here life one life that's all we've
got and the most important thing to understand about regret is that in and of itself
Regret is worthless. It does nothing for you. In fact, the only valuable thing in regret is the lesson you learned.
Too many of us, we think what's right for us based upon how man treats us, based upon how woman treats us, based upon how our boss treats us, based upon how our spouse believes in us, based upon how our friends support us.
We base our gifts and our talents if this is right for us based on that.
And I'm going to tell you something. Will you know that it's right for you based upon what God is giving you? It don't matter about man.
You gotta stop doing it for them, right?
You gotta start doing it for you.
All right, I'm one day better than I was yesterday.
And that's how we have to look at life.
That's how we have to look at these situations.
And eventually you'll stop feeling the way that you feel right now
and because of the actions that you're taking,
by the time that you stop feeling, because here's the thing,
if you did nothing, if you just continued to like live,
and you did nothing, all right?
right? You will eventually get over this because time cures the painful wounds.
Think of every hard thing you've ever been through. When enough time passes, it gets easier to deal with.
It may not permanently go away, but it gets small. It gets real small in the rear view.
And occasionally you'll be upset about it, but most of the time you kind of don't even think about it.
The point is this. When that time comes, when the time comes where this huge event to you right now is,
very small in the rear view mirror.
Do you want to be in a better place than you are right now, or do you want to be in a worse
place than you are right now?
Because here's the thing.
Time is going to pass, and time will help heal the wound.
But God gave you the light, and you just shining.
Even when they try to stop you, you still shining.
Even when they try to slow you down, you still shining.
Even when they try to come against you, you still shining.
Even when they use their tactics to try to hurt you and kill your vision, you bring more
light to and you keep shining. Everybody ain't meant to handle the light. When somebody has darkness
in their soul, when somebody has darkness in their spirit, when somebody is bitter and you
becoming better, everybody can't handle the light of greatness. Everybody can't handle the light of calling.
Everybody can't handle the light of you being who you are. You've been ordained to be able to do
what you've been called to do. Everybody can't handle that because everybody ain't that.
Take action to become a person not filled with regret,
but a person filled with knowledge and strength and power and life.
Realize that this too shall pass, that it's not about the highs,
it's about the character you're developing, even in the lobes.
I'll get around to being happy.
I'll get around to making my masterpiece of my life.
I'll get around to my dreams.
I'm going to get around to fixing this.
relationship that's broken. I'm going to get around to feeling those emotions. And then it's another day and another day. And they keep it in the distance
until there are no more days. And I don't care if you're 18 years old listening to this, 28 or 48. We don't know if we have one more day or a hundred more days or a thousand more days. But we know this. There'll eventually be a time where we don't have any more days.
Most things that never get done, never get done because they never get started.
You procrastinate.
Procrastination is a killer.
It kills plans and it kills projects and it kills dreams.
On the other side of temporary pain, you meet your other self.
So all pain, no matter what it is, it is temporary.
And if you can survive it, on the other side of it, you will meet personality,
emotions, thoughts, people, circumstances, versions of you
that you didn't know existed before.
I'm up here not because I'm super impressive,
because I'm not.
Every time I wanted to quit this business,
I didn't make a decision to not quit the rest of my life.
I made a decision not to quit for one more day.
One more day, just don't quit. One more day, hang on.
It all starts with you.
Some of you are in situations, man,
that you know what it is, right?
You know what it is.
Maybe it's a friendship, maybe it's her life.
Maybe a job, right?
Some of you are in situations that you know what it is,
but you choose to stay in it,
but you choose them to accept it.
And you wonder why things are changing in your life.
You know, you want all these things to happen for your life,
but you don't want to put in the work,
you don't want to put in the sacrifice,
you don't want to go through the journey that's such
to get to the mountain to peak that's beautiful.
Some of you are choosing a lot of things in your life
that's keeping from everything that you were created to be.
Everything.
Your feelings don't matter.
You may feel like,
doing something, maybe you don't feel like doing something. Doesn't matter. Get out there and do what
you're supposed to do, whether you feel like it or not. It is a true saying that everyone must die,
but not everyone lives, truly lives. Because not everyone is willing to pay the toll or the risk,
the price of blow. You have to have the courage to do it. You must be willing to say that I want
everything that is supposed to be mine. But I'm not going to sit here with entitlement.
I'm going to stay here and have enrichment. I'm going to enrich my life by being around people
that will push me to be more, do more, and become more so that I can serve more.
There is a blessing in everything. Kane always leaves a gift. Always. It's not going to
change for you. Don't worry about the people that God has removed from your life. He saw things
you didn't see. He heard conversations you couldn't hear and he saw he made moves you wouldn't
mean. You can become someone epic or you can be someone treks. It is a choice that you make every
single day. So drop the feet. Take a deep breath. Embrace that life and use it as wind.
to get yourselves going so that you can move forward in life.
Use what you have.
And a lot more people have pain,
a lot more people have anger, a lot more people have shame.
And if you can use that as your gas in the beginning,
you'll eventually get to a point where you can get out of that loop
and then find something that you are really passionate about,
Tony Robbins quote,
but it's just when the pain of staying the same is greater than the pain of change.
And I think that pain moves people far more effectively than pleasure does.
They aren't going to,
see your vision unless you do the work. Unless you type those words, cut that wood, write that code,
unless you do the work, the world will never see your vision. And all that splendor and
all that glory will be known only to you unless you bring it to life. You've got to bet on you.
believe that everybody else you clap for everybody else you support everybody else you're
baking cakes and making cooking for everybody else but what are you going to look in the mirror and
believe in the darn person you see i prefer a negative visualization which is what if i keep doing
what i'm currently doing for the next 10 years what my life look like then that usually takes my
current pain and then just magnifies it and then that allows me to get my action threshold high
enough that it goes over the edge so that i can take that first move and so if you know what the
the inputs outputs are of what you need to do and you figure out whatever fuel you've got,
not the one you wish you have, but the one you've got and you use that to do the first input,
you cross the line here in the game.
The air of the brave is different. The air of the brave is to be admired. The air of the brave
lives forever. But only if you will ever be that ultimate war. You see, warriors should
suffer their pay in cyber people.
You go ahead and you keep going.
To overcome that fear, you have to pull the trigger.
You have to initiate action.
So do not pause in that moment.
Fight the procrastination with violence of action and get done.
The things you need to get done and get them done.
Now.
I want you today to do.
decide I am going to become discipline. That should be your only fucking goal because if you
develop the ability to say no to the guys nights to the alcohol, if you develop that
discipline, how different will your life work a year from now? Here, there's no such thing
as a weekend. This is an everyday gig. Every day is a Monday and you might not like that.
Me, I love it.
To me, every day is a beginning, a new day, a new week, a new shot at life.
Our issue is depth perception.
We think it's further away than it is.
And because we think it's so far away, we create patterns and behaviors in our life that perpetually keep it there.
And that's what we do in our life?
But what if that's the great lie of life?
And what if the truth is that you're one relationship
away, one meeting away, one new tactic or strategy, away from completely changing the trajectory
of your life. The truth is it was one decision, one meeting, one extra rep, one more phone call,
one thing they did that changed their trajectory. That inner conversation, ladies and gentlemen,
is the reason that most people take their greatness, take their ideas to the graveyard with
it. You know, the wealthiest place on the planet is not the gold mines and the various areas
of the world or the diamond mines,
the wealthiest place on the planet is the graveyard.
Because in the graveyard, we will find inventions
that we never ever were exposed to, ideas, dreams
that never became reality, hopes and aspirations
that were never acted upon.
Because most people allow that inner conversation
for whatever reason to keep them from ever pursuing their goals.
When the world,
tries to get your head up in the clouds.
Let your humbleness
keep your feet on the ground.
When the world tries to get your head up in the clouds,
let your humbleness, right?
Let your appreciation, let your gratitude,
let you remember where you came from,
let you remember your mission,
keep your feet on the ground.
As you grow, don't lose yourself.
As people praise you,
don't put yourself on a pedestal.
As you continue to climb,
don't feel like you are entitled to everything.
because entitlement leads to destruction.
Instead of going backward,
instead of decaying, get stronger.
Get better.
Grow and learn and develop and live.
Live in defiance of the weakness
and in rebellion against the decay.
Fight them as they creep in with their offers
of instant gratification and immediate rewards.
But when it's your time,
Your time is it doesn't matter who's on the team.
If it's your time, that means your challenge, your head knowledge, your heart, and your skill set in practice, I've come together so that you can step into the moment.
When it's your time, no one can deny you.
When it's your time, everyone can see it coming.
You can feel it, you can sense it, you can own it, and you take dominion over that moment because it's your time.
But if you wait on your turn, that's a sense of entitlement.
Waiting for someone else to vacate a position is not how you get elevated.
You learn, you watch them, you study them, and then you turn that eye to and to arrive.
You battle for the position, you battle for the moment, and you discover what's deep inside of you.
Why is it that most people don't ever reach their goals or live up to their true potential?
One is fear.
And there are only two kinds of fears that we're born with.
The fear falling and the fear of a loud sound.
All of the fears we learn, like the fear of failure.
If you can survive the temporary, even our bodies are temporary.
Only our souls are permanent.
If you can survive the temporary on the other side of temporary pain,
you meet another version of yourself.
Many people who believe because of where they're born,
because of the area where they are in life,
where they are in life and where they find themselves,
that's all they know.
See, I know something about you, even not knowing you,
that you've got greatness within you.
You have the ability to do things
that you can't even begin to imagine.
You have talents and skills in you
that you haven't even began to reach for yet.
You rub against that iron so that iron can sharpen iron
and make you into a weapon that no one else can defeat
because you can not be defeated
by the battlefield of your own mind.
You will not lose when someone else tries to play mind games.
Because that's where winners are mean.
It's in the heart, it's in the mind.
When it's your turn, you won't win.
When it's your time, you can't lose.
This state, pursuing success, becoming someone who is abnormal,
becoming someone who sets the fucking standard for others,
becoming someone who shows the rest of the world what is possible is a very difficult path
the biggest thing in life that you have to do is you have to be proud of yourself and the most
important conversation we'll ever have is when we have with ourselves fight go down swinging
and i'll tell you if you fight with all you have more often than not you won't go down at all
You will win, but you have to make that attitude a part of your everyday life.
Do the extra repetition.
Run the extra mile.
Go the extra round.
Make the right choices.
Give the full measure.
Make yourself stronger mentally and physically.
Stand.
That fight.
And so I've been intrigued with, can you be committed to the process of what you do
without being emotionally attached to the result of what you do.
Because a lot of people can be committed to the process of what they do
if the results don't change.
But the moment the result or the outcome changes of what they're chasing,
they shut it down or they quit simply because the result changed.
So can we be committed to the process of what we do,
but not emotionally to the result of what we do,
understanding every day I get up and give everything I got to everything I'm a part of
simply because this is who I am.
Fight against weakness, against fear, against time, and against decay.
Fight back. Go down swinging.
Give every day everything you've got.
I do think that if you sit on the edge of your bed and things aren't going very well for you.
And you ask what foolish thing you're doing to make it worse, that you'll get an answer right now.
And it won't be the one you want, but it might be the one that if you listen to, would set things straight.
It might be something that you really don't want to contend with.
But if you clear some space to meditate on that, the probability that you'll figure out something that you did that was stupid,
that's bending you and twisting you in the wind, you'll get an answer.
I have nothing in common with lazy people who blame others for their lack of success.
Great things come from hard work and perseverance.
No excuses.
We're not lazy.
We take ownership.
We take full responsibility.
We never played in the playing game.
We never make excuses.
The buck stops with me and the buck stops not.
You're forgetting the person that's the most responsible for your success.
You're forgetting about the person that's most responsible for your happiness.
You're forgetting about the marson that is most important to you.
You're so busy giving everybody else a piece of you.
Everybody else is taking your time.
Everybody else has got you doing things.
That there's very little of you left to do what you want to do.
And that's to win.
We all want to win.
Victory is reserved for the warriors who's running to pay its price.
You can pay the price.
You've already paid the debt.
You've already been paying dues.
Now it's time for you to reap the rewards.
You should reach the lowest.
limits of your virtue because you push it to the border of death day in and day out when they're
under the bar when you're pushing through and trying to finish your workout you should be pushing
yourself with the mindset and i know that there's another level in me i know that there's another
layer and i must uncover it the version of me i was yesterday i'm trying to conquer it so i can
the warrior that was born today.
Training is hard, all right?
It is hard.
It's supposed to be hard.
Winning is hard.
Eating properly is hard.
It is supposed to be hard.
Everybody's looking for that easy path.
Everybody's looking for those steps,
five easy steps.
You know, 10 steps to greatness,
five steps of success,
and everyone's looking for those easy steps.
There are no easy steps.
that whatever they're having to do it, you gotta do it with all your might, you gotta give 120%
you gotta have a right attitude, you gotta have the right motives, you gotta get up every single day,
you can't take a day off, no days off, why? Because there could possibly be a million people
trying to do what you do. How to do it, wake up every morning, make your bed, take a cold shower,
all that crap. I'm telling you right now, you have to be that person that leads from the
front. And many of our leaders right now are not leading from the front. They're leading from
the rear, but they're telling you how to do it. They're waking up late. They're not doing what they say.
So in life is real important to do what you say because that's where true knowledge comes from.
Do you think Michael Jordan was interested in just being a basketball player? You think Kobe Bryant was just
interested in winning championships? You think Tom Brady is just interested in being an NFL
quarterback? Your mindset has to change right now. Interested is a fucking poppy. That's what
interested is. That's what interested is. That means you can't make a decision. If you
want to win, you want what's next, you can't be interested. You have to be interested. You have to
be obsessed. I wanted to quit every single day, but many dreams die while suffering.
And many of us out here have suffered. And when you're suffering, I'm not talking about this
physically. I'm talking about emotionally, spiritually. It could be a relationship. When you're suffering,
you give up on the very things that you want it the most. You can't outrun your demons.
They'll always know where you're hiding. Trust me at that.
And I'm in with this.
Don't stop when you're tired.
Stop when you're done.
Climb out of the hole.
Climb out of the mindset.
Climb out of the situations that told you you are no good.
Put a mute button on everyone that has been a hater and tried to stop you.
You have to believe that the fear you have felt is just that a feeling.
But there are a multitude of reasons why you can get up.
In the sense, there are other men who have survived,
and other women who have overcome that.
Don't you dare panic.
Let every man pick up his shield or come straight forward.
Whatever the foes are that have tried to stop you,
whatever haters you've had in your life,
they were meant to sharpen your tools,
to sharpen your skill set.
They were meant to push you further in life.
Elevation is internal.
It's not external.
Motivation is external.
All right.
Elevation is internal.
They know when they get to the gym, when they get up, yes, this is going to be difficult.
It's going to be hard.
It's going to be nasty.
It's going to be tough.
I know it's going to be painstaking.
But they take that accountability on themselves.
To me, every day is a beginning.
A new day, a new week, a new shot at life.
An opportunity to come out of the gate like a man possessed and attack the day without.
mercy. I will get beat up. I'll get knocked down and drained and I will have some bad days.
Will not? You need to work on yourself. If you just try to be pampered and if you're trying to be
soft and if you're trying to be the victim and you're not going to go anywhere. We need to
get stronger. We need to get tougher. We need to not be afraid of failure. We got to face
adversity, adversity breeds character. We have to be willing to go through hardship, through suffering.
Don't shy away from any of that because it just makes you stronger. There's been a constant war,
a war with fear. Those who have the courage to conquer it are made free. And those who are
conquered by it are made to suffer until they have the courage to defeat it. This is where we make a choice.
either I fight now or a fight later.
When you put off this fight,
you allow your fear to grow stronger.
You allow it to morph into something
that will drag on for years
and haunt you down until you have the courage
or are forced to fight it.
Why not face it now?
Our minds are morphing from minute to minute
if we let down.
If you are not paying attention, if you are on cruise control, then your mind is not under your own control.
We can't be in cruise control.
You can't let your mind be in cruise control.
You have to be cognizant of what you're thinking.
You have to be cognizant.
You have to be aware of how you are being influenced.
Don't never let know anybody, anybody take your belief in yourself away from your
because they're hurting their side. Don't you never let nobody do that? Always
believing who you are in the darkest moments man. In the darkest moments when you're at that
pain, when you're at the bottom, know that you're going to get back up. But you've got to believe
that you're going to get back up. Make it a resolution of discipline to get better, smarter,
healthier, more productive, to eat cleaner, live more, to go and do. I'll waste your life.
set your goals high.
Quit thinking about what's wrong.
Start thinking what's right.
Love a little more,
hate a little less.
You have no idea what you're capable of doing.
You have nothing in this world
to conquer or to challenge
or to transcend apart from your mind.
All your neighbors live here.
Your enemies and friends live here.
Your gods and demons live here.
And yourself imagined lives here.
100% means that you are 100%
accountable for your life. Take 100% responsibility for your choices. Your life will be determined
far more by the choices you make than it will by your circumstances. Intellect and talent carry
no weight unless you're willing to make the correct choices. Sacrifice is a contract with the future,
but it's not a contract with any particular person. It's a contract with the spirit of
humanity as such. It's something like that. And so when you think about it that way,
that should make you faint with amazement because that is such a bloody amazing idea to
come up with that idea that you can bargain with the future. We suffer. What do we do about it?
We figure out how to bargain with the future. The work comes before the belief.
And what that actually means is that you're going to have to do some work and you're
going to have to keep doing it and you're going to have to do it when you're not seeing a result.
and then a result will begin to sprout as you do this.
We're going to have faith, all right?
And when that result starts to sprout, start to have some belief.
You say, hey, shit, I can do this.
This is actually working.
And then you work a little bit more and a little bit more success sprouts.
And that's how this goes, and that's what that saying means.
Control the things you think about.
You can actually control how you feel.
You can control what you think, and you can definitely control what you do.
Do not be a slave to influence.
You got to be the master of your mind.
You got to control your mind.
You got to exercise mind control.
That means you got to pay attention and be aware all day.
That's what you've got to do.
Stop trying to be a traffic policeman in your head.
Let it run.
Just remain detached like you're witnessing.
The weakness is never involved.
in the scene that it's witnessing because the moment you become involved in the scene,
you become part of the scene.
The weakness has to stand apart.
Just keep witnessing first your traffic, the mind stuff, and it's daily.
It's your family, friends, a job, money, things, or weather, everything that's coming up.
So we come from a generation when something is broken, we don't throw it away, we fix it.
When you can be happy in the midst of hardship, then you see the true potential of the mind.
When you can't control what's happening, control how you respond to it.
That's where your power is.
Control what you can control.
I can control my attitude.
I can control my words.
I can control my perspective.
I can control the lens in which I see it.
Because if I can control what I can control in the moment, what's happening externally,
it's not going to affect and impact my true potential and my true advancement as a person.
We're built to walk uphill.
And when you reach the pinnacle of the hill, you want to stop and appreciate the vision.
but the next thing you want is a higher hill in the distance because it's it's
from the uphill climb that we derive our value and I mean this technically so
almost all the positive emotion we feel especially the emotion that fills us
with enthusiasm that's experienced in relationship to a goal you want a goal that
you can never attain right so you could always move closer to the goal that
recedes as you move towards you because
As you pursue that goal, you put yourself together
and your life does get better and richer and more abundant.
Your life and you are entirely up to you.
You will eventually live the life that you design.
So give 100%.
It will bring fulfillment and hope and light and joy
into your life, regardless of where you come from,
Regardless of those traumatic or difficult circumstances
that want to weigh you down and pull you away from your purpose here in life,
when you give 100% you will change your story.
I ask you this question, do you really love yourself?
And the reason I'm asking you this is,
if you really loved yourself, would you still be accepting less?
if you really loved yourself,
would you still be centered for less,
which you still be doing less,
would you still be around less,
would you still be that environment,
would you still be just accepting what the world gives you,
would you still just believe in opinions put on your life
that have no idea the plan that God has for your life,
which would give a half-ass effort with your kids and parenting,
which you give a half-ass effort in your relationships,
your friendships, your business.
But the truth is, the matter is,
we don't really love ourselves
if we're not giving our best effort to ourselves.
So if you're in this phase where it doesn't feel like it's worth it, where it doesn't feel like it's very fun, just remember if you keep going and you do not let your feelings dictate what your actions will be, the results will always be there.
Whatever your fear is, your faith is stronger, but the faith will only come when you put it into practice.
You must test yourself against yourself and believe that anything that I come up again,
must also come up against me. You must be willing to stand on the shores of life and let the waves of problems, trials, and tribulations try to wash over you and stand there on the shore and say, I've made it. I made it because I stood here and withstood all that came up against me. Life is full of battles. You'll always go in one. But when you go through it, you'll come out stronger. You'll come out faster. You're a warrior.
And everything inside of you must become a constant conversation of overcoming because war is coming.
The war of your finest, the war of relationship.
You must be willing to fight every way you can until you win.
It's never over unless you quit.
And a warrior's cold, there is no surrender.
We're so afraid of being vulnerable.
We're terrified of being honest.
We're so used to being judged and being held to a standard that society sets for us.
That we don't give ourselves permission to even ask these questions, let alone answer them.
Decide what you need to do and act.
The foundation of all strength is pain.
Embrace pain.
Pain is something to embrace.
If there's no resistance to you, you're not going to be able to you.
you're not going to get anywhere in life.
The purpose of a goal is not getting it anywhere.
The purpose of goal, who you become.
Who you become is going to make you happy or it's going to make you sad.
Because some people think when you lose a dream or you lose something that it's over,
but you didn't lose who you are.
You lost that thing, that placement.
Life might not be adding up to what you wanted to add up to.
But at least you have another, every single day is a new beginning.
Every day is a new beginning and certain days aren't going to look like you want them to look.
But at least you have another day.
you have another chance like 150,000 people die every day. It's 55 million people a year.
If you're looking for a blessing, realize that's your blessing. You have another opportunity
at life. The only way you're going to get strength in your life is if you go through that hard
moment, that tough moment. Realize this. Just because it's a chapter, it doesn't mean it's your
whole story. Most people think the things that are temporary are the permanent things. The temporary
passing, I'm going through a breakup. You don't understand that in a month you're going to be okay.
When you're in a low, when you're feeling bad, you think that thing you're feeling is how you're going to feel forever, which is what makes it feel worse.
All of your emotions are temporary.
They're passing things.
So most of our pain comes from believing, I believe, that we should keep holding on to these things that are really heavy in our lives.
Are we constantly looking at life?
What is it?
What is it?
Where are we?
Look how interesting.
Look at different cultures, different beliefs.
How do they come to that?
How do I feel about that?
What do I think?
It is a daily adventure.
You have your voice. It's there.
Just do it, do it, do it, create.
You know, don't let anyone stop you.
When you can realize that your worst days were truly your best days,
when you can realize that every human being goes through pain and injustice,
some more than others, but everyone goes through it.
Everyone's had someone be completely unjustly,
and everyone has had someone hurt them who they loved and cared for deeply,
or they trusted, or they look to for support or love.
It's part of how we grow spiritually.
There's no possibility to build muscle
without something you have to lift.
And if you don't lift it, it will crush you.
And if you lift it, it will be painful.
It's not easy to lift those things.
But the day in which you finally find inside yourself,
the story and state that finally makes you no longer be willing
to be pressed down by your past,
that's the day your life normally changes,
but you also know how to have the ability to give a gift to others.
And the most beautiful day, though, is the day when you go,
it wasn't for all that that I hated most,
I wouldn't have what I love most,
realizing that there was a meaning in all of it
and that it serves something greater,
greater than just a little me.
I say to myself,
I refuse to believe
that if I'm a good person
and that if I'm working hard,
I refuse to work.
believe that this doesn't work out. I know that this moment's going to pass and I know that I will
look back on this moment and I'll see exactly what I was meant to learn and the fact that you believe
in your heart, that you got the mindset, you got the work ethic, you got the ability to figure
the shit out and to keep going and that eventually if you do, what's meant for you is going to find
you, you will be rewarded for all this in the way that you're meant to be rewarded, that's
amazing. It's an amazing feeling because you can pick yourself up no matter what happens.
You should be, it's good. You should be anxious. You should be worried. You should be concerned.
You know what that means? That means you actually give a fuck about what you're trying to do.
Everybody tries to preach this no anxiety, no stress, low, low drag, happy all the time.
Shit, bro, when you really care about something, you really want something to work, you're going to feel
stress about it. You're going to feel anxiety about it. You know what it means you can give a shit.
All right, you should feel that way.
Isolation.
You can be out in the world.
You can be a history maker and a productive legend.
You don't get to do both.
Fear.
Fear is the thing that has kept most of us from becoming great.
Fear is the thing that creeps in that reminds you of a past sin, a past problem, or past failure.
Fear that somebody might expose you, might say anything, or feel that if I try this, what if it all goes wrong?
Maybe it's time you bet on you.
Maybe it's time you push everything to the center and say,
here's everything I am and everything that I want to be.
And I'm willing to bet on me.
I don't care where you come from.
I don't care where you were raised.
I don't care what color you are.
I don't care what gender you are.
I don't care about any of that.
If you do the work consistently,
if you invest in yourself consistently,
one plus one is always going to equal two.
Ten years of motherfuckin' work when everybody else is partying, making excuses,
doing the cool thing on the weekend is going to pay off.
What really you need is hunger.
The most successful people on earth never lose their hunger.
The hunger to be more, to do more, to share more, to create more, to become more, to give more.
And if you have a hunger and it doesn't die off as soon as you succeed a little bit,
then you start to become something extraordinary.
Those are the people that you know their names of because they're famous at a different life.
They've been famous for decade after decade,
because they keep performing at the higher level.
Not the person who was a one-time wonder.
People have problems, and they're often annoyed
and oppressed by the fact they have problems,
but you have your problems and the problems that bother you.
And you might ask yourself, well, why do those problems
bother you and not other problems?
And I would say, maybe it's because in those problems
you actually find your destiny.
And those are often things you don't want to look at,
but it was something that bothered you.
It turned out that was.
was your problem and if you faced it well then you figured out on that road that that was your
destiny bet on you bet on the lifeline that god gave you bet on the talents that you have developed
bet on the stuff that you have sacrificed to become you bet on the experiences that have molded
your mindset bet on the education that you've acquired bet on the relationships that are around you
and i promise you the odds aren't against you the odds are with you
Because the odd thing is, very few will ever do what you're willing to do.
It takes something to become something.
It takes trials.
It takes hard work.
It takes dedication.
It takes avoiding all of the pitfalls that fear wants you to accept.
With myself, I have to hold the line.
There are areas within myself where I cannot compromise.
I am going to work hard.
I am going to train hard.
I am going to improve myself.
I am not going to rest on my laurels.
I'm going to own my mistakes and confront them.
I am going to face my demons.
Use it as fuel.
If you look at stories of great men, of great women in history,
that story always has a lot of disadvantages that will overcome.
There is something in the process of overcoming hardship that creates greatness.
Most people quit through that process.
If you can survive it, then your story will be a great one.
You've never looked at yourself in the mirror and said, you let you die.
Until you get to that point, you let you die.
You've never, you're not grave enough.
You want to put it on somebody else.
The reason why I'm not successful is because of my boss.
That's the problem with some of you.
You always want to blame other people.
You always want to hold other people to the fire,
but you're not holding yourself to the fire.
You just said you give it 50%.
You owe you an explanation.
You owe you an explanation.
You need to look at yourself in the mirror
and say, why are you only giving 50%?
What's wrong with you?
It's time to walk in a room and change the atmosphere of the room
because you're there.
When you arrive, things change.
When you walk in, your presence feels the room.
The way that you think, the way that you are, the way that you grind, the way you get up and go at the gym,
everything that you are is being developed so that you can change the world and let them see that there was a purpose for your lifestyle.
I'm not going to give up or give out or give in. I am going to stand. I am going to maintain myself disciplined.
And on those points, there will be no compromise.
Not now.
Any negative voice that ever entered in your space that said you could was lying.
The truth is they didn't want you to.
I've been given a chance.
And that's all you've ever needed.
You needed an opportunity and you needed the wind beneath your cell that God gave you called breath.
When God gave you the breath, he gave you his endorsement and said,
I still have plans for you.
I know the plans I have for you.
You will prosper.
do well, you will overcome, you will win because you are never made to be a loser.
Who say you want to be great, let your actions, let your words display that.
If you say you love the cat that's next to you, let your actions and let your words display
that. If you say you really want to be elite, let your actions and let your words display that.
I want you to get the spirit. That's uncommon. Right? You can't be a common man and do
uncommon things that's uncommon that's an uncommon mentality that's an uncommon spirit that's an
uncommon disposition don't ask me for my nor are we not we said we was going to dominate these cats
and we didn't dominate every single day do you dominate in what you do yet this lion is the king
of a jungle huge mane a little lion comes they start messing with
them biting his tail, behind his ears.
He doesn't do anything.
Now, the other animals, they notice this.
And they start to move in, barking at him, laughing at him.
They do this, and they get closer and closer,
and boulder on boulder.
Until one day, that lion gets up and tears the shit
and everybody runs like the wind, eats everything in his path.
Because every once in a while, the lion has to show the jackass.
Because it's a compliment when people say you are good.
But if you settle for being good, you'll miss out on the whole boat called greatness.
You see, greatness is a boat trip away because there's a great gulf between those are good and those who are great.
No one remembers those who are simply good.
We remember those who are great.
Trauma, tragedy, darkness.
leave marks that never fully fade.
They change you in ways you never asked for, ways you never wanted.
And when you're in the middle of it, when the weight of it presses down on you, it feels
impossible to move, impossible to breathe, like the light you once had inside you has been
snuffed out, and all that's left is this endless shadow.
But let me tell you something.
You're still here.
And that means something.
It means the darkness didn't win.
It means you've already survived what you thought you couldn't.
It means that no matter how broken, how hurt, how lost you feel, there is still something
inside you, something strong, something unyielding, something that refuses to give up.
Trauma changes you, yes, but it doesn't have to define you.
The truth is, life will break you.
It will tear you apart in ways you can't predict, in ways you didn't prepare for.
The breaking, that's not the end.
The breaking is where the rebuilding begins.
The breaking is where you find out what you're made of, what you're capable of, what you
can endure and still rise from.
It's easy to feel like your trauma, your tragedy, your pain, or the end of your story.
Like you'll never be whole again.
Like the person you were before is gone forever.
And maybe they are.
Maybe you'll never be the same.
But who says that's a bad thing?
Who says the person you're becoming, the person who's learning to rise from the ashes,
who's rebuilding themselves piece by piece, isn't stronger, wiser, more resilient?
There's a Japanese art called Kinsugi.
When a piece of pottery breaks, it's not thrown away.
It's repaired, carefully, lovingly, with gold.
The cracks aren't hidden.
They're highlighted, transformed into something beautiful.
The piece becomes more valuable,
valuable, not despite its brokenness, but because of it.
That's you.
Your scars, your pain, your history.
They don't make you less.
They make you more.
But here's the thing.
Healing isn't a straight line.
It's not a neat process with clear steps and a perfect ending.
It's messy.
It's full of setbacks.
Of moments where it feels like you're moving backward.
days when the darkness feels like it's swallowing you whole. And that's okay. Because
healing isn't about never feeling the pain again. It's about learning how to carry it,
learning how to live alongside it without letting it consume you. You don't have to erase the
darkness to find the light. The two can coexist. And in time, you'll realize that the
darkness doesn't make the light any less real. If anything,
it makes it shine brighter.
But here's the hard part.
Healing takes work.
It takes courage.
It takes showing up for yourself.
Even on the days when you don't want to.
Even on the days when it feels pointless.
Even on the days when you'd rather stay in the darkness because it's familiar,
because it's easier than facing the light.
Healing means taking small, deliberate steps to work
steps toward yourself, toward the person you're becoming, toward the life you still
deserve to live. And you do deserve it. No matter what's happened to you, no
matter what you've lost, no matter how broken you feel, you deserve joy, you deserve
peace, you deserve to build a life that feels like your own. Even if it doesn't look
like the life you had before, especially if it doesn't. But let's be honest, the world isn't
always kind to people who've been through trauma. It doesn't wait for you to catch up.
It doesn't give you the time or space to heal. And that's why you have to be kind to yourself.
You have to give yourself the grace, the patience, the compassion that the world won't.
You have to remind yourself that healing isn't a race, that there's no timeline, no deadline, no finish line you have to reach.
Healing isn't about becoming the person you were before. It's about becoming the person you're meant to be now.
A person who has walked through the fire and come out the other side. A person who has faced the darkness and refused to let it win.
A person who carries their scars not as reminders of it.
what they've lost, but as proof of what they've survived. And here's the truth. The darkness
doesn't go away overnight. There will be moments, maybe days, maybe weeks, maybe longer, when
it still feels overwhelming, when the weight of it feels unbearable. But those moments don't
mean you're failing. They don't mean you're broken. They mean you're huge.
And being human means you get to feel the pain and the joy, the loss and the love, the darkness and the light.
You are not your trauma. You are not your tragedy. You are the person who's learning to live again despite them.
You are the person who's choosing to move forward, one step at a time, even when it feels impossible.
You are the person who refuses to let the worst moments of your life define the rest of your life.
That is strength. That is resilience. That is power. So if you're in the darkness right now,
if you're carrying the weight of trauma, of loss, of pain, I want you to know this. You are not alone.
You are not broken beyond repair. And this moment? This is not the end of your story.
This is the chapter where you begin again. This is the chapter where you begin again. This is a
This is the chapter where you start to rewrite your narrative, not as a victim, but as a survivor,
not as someone who's defined by their pain, but as someone who's shaped by it, strengthened by it,
transformed by it.
The darkness is real, yes, but so is the light.
And as long as you're still here, as long as you're still breathing, as long as you're
still willing to take one step forward, there is hope, there is healing.
There is a future waiting for you, a future that's not defined by what you've been through,
but by what you choose to do next.
So rise, not all at once, not perfectly, but steadily, surely, powerfully.
Rise.
The light is waiting.
99% of people in the world are convinced that they're incapable of achieving great things,
so they aim for the mediocre.
The level of competition is thus fiercest for realistic goals,
paradoxically making them the most time and energy consuming.
If you are insecure, guess what?
The rest of the world is too.
Do not overestimate the competition
and underestimate yourself.
You are better than you think.
I've seen great dudes like you who have so much potential
and you can create so much change
and solve so many problems for the world,
literally sitting there suffering in silence
because you fail to take action
and you fail to execute on what you know you need to.
Remember this that averages the enemy,
that success is your responsibility,
and change can take place in an instant
if you are willing to flip the switch.
You're not alone, man, you know?
We're only alone when we find ourselves alone.
We got to remember to get out there.
Nobody's going to come and just help us be on alone.
We have to do it.
Nothing changes if nothing changes, you know?
So if I want something to be different,
I have to do some different.
Someone is dying to be your age.
Someone is dreaming of living your worst day.
Someone is wishing they had your apartment.
Someone is hoping they had your health.
Someone is working to get to where you are.
Remember, yesterday you asked for what you have today.
The world belongs to optimists,
because if you're going to do anything big,
you have to believe that it can happen.
Otherwise, it never will.
Sean Puri says the cynics get to be right
and the optimists get to be rich.
99% right and 100% wrong.
They're right 99% of the time.
But they're wrong 100%
because the only thing that matters
is the big one at the end.
Your family and friends will say
that every girl you ever date is not good enough
except for the one time you find a girl
that you're actually going to marry
or that this business idea won't work
and you might have nine failures.
My first nine businesses
didn't really amount
to anything. Nine, as in the first one, I spent time on it, it failed. Second one, this one will be
different. Spent time on it, failed. And then the third one, this one, failed. And then six more
after that. And it's painful as shit, because the whole time everyone is telling you, I told you so.
And they're right. Today, but not forever. It's Christmas morning and I know today for a lot of you
is a big reminder of the people in your life.
And I know for some, it's a reminder of who isn't.
Wherever your mind goes,
please recognize that today is a great opportunity
to care for yourself.
To give the gift of treating today like it matters
is the best thing you could do for you
because like any other day.
It does do something hard
to prove that even on a day like this,
you can show up.
And I think that too many people do this.
Why can't the world, insert, be more convenient for me?
Well, the world is uncaring and doesn't care about you at all.
And underpinning that statement is the entitlement,
is the expectation that it somehow should.
And I think that is a poverty lens.
And so the wealthy accept the world for what it is
and then choose to maximize and adapt.
Everyone else tries to stop their feet and throw tantrums and say how it's not fair.
And they're right.
And so what?
There's a Haitian proverse that I think is relevant right now,
which is behind mountains are more mountains.
Goals aren't finish lines.
They're mile markers.
And I think that's a great mental frame,
which is that you think that your goal is to get to $10,000 a month
or $100,000 worth $1,000 a month or $10,000 a month,
whatever your goal is.
And I can promise you, having hit those, you just move it again.
You just, the mist lifts when you get there
and you realize there's another bell in top.
But where people lose their way is when they start listening to people at the bottom of the mountain
who see them at the subhead and say you weren't happy last time when you got to the last
peak. Why are you going to be happy the next time?
But that's under their assumption in their poverty lens that you did it to get to the
mountain top.
You did it for the climb and they'll never understand that and don't expect them to.
A man matures through early mornings, late nights, pain, losses, disrespect, disappointments,
deep reflection and moments of loneliness
with just you.
Age has very little to do with it,
as you can meet a man who's 23
and a boy who's 35.
Because always remember,
it's the days that break a man,
which are the days that make a man.
Always believe in you will achieve
whatever it is that you want,
never quit halfway through something,
continue to move forward and finish it.
Not quit, because nothing comes easy.
It's all about never quitting
and never giving up. Not winning all the time, because winning isn't everything. Sometimes when you,
when you get defeated, it makes you stronger and want you to make you want to come back and work
harder for it. And you respect yourself more for this. You need an alter ego, a version of you
that's limitless. Make your weaknesses their strength. Make your insecurity their confidence.
Give them a name. Give them traits. Create an amazing character. When you need them, let them let
them take over and eventually you won't need to pretend it will just be you.
Hey man, lately I've been in a funk. I feel like everything is slipping. I feel like I'm not
where I should be like I'm not who I'm meant to be. I'm seeing all these other people
getting ahead and I'm here feeling like I'm running without ever really moving forwards.
on this continuous conveyor belt stuck in no man's land, stuck in limbo.
And I'm tired.
This isn't where I was meant to be or who I was supposed to be.
And the deepest feeling that I have is, why?
Why am I still here?
I know all of that frustration.
And in the friction of that pain, a deep, dark part of me speaks and says,
is that the best you've got?
Have you genuinely given it your all?
Did you truly go all chips in?
And to be honest, to be really honest with you,
a quiet, shameful voice is whispering, no.
No, I haven't.
Our society celebrates conquerors and shames surrender.
But what if I told you,
surrender can actually be a powerful, empowering thing?
What if by surrendering we actually find acceptance?
and in that acceptance we become the conquerors that we're seeking.
Now I'm not talking about giving up, let me be clear.
I'm talking about the kind of surrender
that is about surrendering to the process,
surrendering to the work, the art, the art of being studious.
Vedic philosophy talks about this
that when a man sets aside his pride
and he abandons his ego,
only then can he truly begin with earnestness,
the journey of self-development and spiritual growth.
In other words, when you reach your lowest point,
we become opened to the greatest change.
I'm not surprised that I am where I am,
and you shouldn't be surprised you're getting the results you're getting,
because what worked for you then,
it's not going to work for you now.
And amongst the darkness and demons of doubt,
what you and I, what we need to realize is that
We are social machines built but also programmed to repeat patterns.
And in the early days, these new patterns that we find or adopt,
they bring us the excitement of new results.
When you do something new, it gives you a new fix, a new result.
But over time, these things decay.
And it's your job to keep continually defining yourself,
to abandon and then enlighten our old selves.
the shedding of one shell into the next and the next and the next for lifetimes.
The only constant in all of this is that things are impermanent.
So don't hold on to what is. Life is like a river and the waters that are still that you're trying
to hold on to are the same waters that crash and swirl around you.
So change, change. And if you want to win, if you want to succeed, if you want to go beyond this,
The choice isn't to exit, it's to engage.
You need to sit down and have an honest conversation with yourself
about the kind of life you want to live,
the kind of human being that you want to be,
the sacrifice and investment that you are going to have to make
in order to get there.
And above all else, above all else,
what are the things that you are going to personally get fulfillment from?
So stay away from social media for a time,
to. Focus on the goal. Focus on the mission. Focus on the vision. Don't chase things because
you think it might mean that people rate you more. I want you to rate you more. I want you to
do it for you and nobody else because that's what real success is. That's a real like. Not the
kind that you get from your feed, but the kind that you get from the beating of your own heart,
your own drum. And remember, it's okay not to know
or to have it all figured out.
You don't need a grand map of your reality and your future.
Your path, it's made by walking it.
So take it one step at a time.
Take it one moment at a time.
Have micro goals.
Sometimes in life you can't see the light
at the end of the tunnel,
but you just gotta keep moving forward
and I promise you, you will come to a better place.
You don't have to, you necessarily 65, 75, 85,
85 and none of us know when that moment's going to come.
And I believe we don't necessarily have time.
All we have to make an impact is this moment right now.
Tomorrow is not some guarantee that we have.
It's not a right that we have.
It's a privilege.
Repatternate.
It's a process of rewiring.
It's a process of reconditioning.
It's a process of self-reflection and awareness and changing those beliefs.
When you begin to realize then, well, I can't respond
to the same conditions in my life with the same emotions and the same thoughts, because if
I believe that the way I feel and the way I think creates reality, if I'm reacting to the
same thoughts and feelings equal to the conditions in my life in the same way, then I keep
reaffirming the same life.
The attachment and the identification of this conditioned sense of self that we have learned
to be based on our past, based on our experiences, based on our child's.
We identify with these thought forms and we identify with these belief systems and then we hold tightly onto this sense of
Identification as a sense of me is who you are who you really are sometimes when you find your purpose
The real challenges just begin you're alone you're alone you may have a shrink you're going to you may have a best thing you're going to
But there's 24 hours in the day where you're alone in this brain and you're alone and you're alone
And your brain is talking to you in all kind of ways.
And it wants to control you and pull you in these different pockets.
You got to tell your brain where you want to go and how you want to go and how you want to get there.
You've got to control.
Life begins to fill these challenges and tests.
Life's way of rewarding you.
It's life believing in you.
It knows, okay, you're on this path.
So you must be ready.
And so to me, the challenges and the hardships and the ups and the downs and the divorce and the breakups and the difficulties are just,
life's way of preparing your soul.
We're going to adapt and overcome now.
I don't understand.
We never, never quit.
Feel like your life is in a place where you can't get any lower
and you don't think you can find any way out
because that means the ultimate challenge is ahead of you.
It means you can only go up.
And it also means that things are going to be tough.
Things are going to be tougher than anything you can imagine.
But that storm that you're in from your perspective,
it seems like that storm is enveloping the whole world.
But I'm telling you, it is not.
So one of the things in order to make this your decade,
in order to reach your goals,
you've got to find some reasons that make you strong,
some reasons that will make you hang in there when times get rough,
because they're going to get rough.
It's going to be very challenging.
Whenever you decide that you want to grow,
whenever you decide that you want to go to another level,
all hell will break loose.
Everything that will happen,
but whatever that can happen will happen,
and at the worst possible moment, they call it Murphy's Law.
It will become a beacon, a light, an example,
a demonstration of what's possible,
of what it looks like,
When hard work meets opportunity and when opportunity met you, you became you.
Now take a deep breath, gauge your day.
Think about what's going ahead of you and go after it with a new gust or new purpose because
you are here and it's an obstacle and you are designed to overcome them.
But the storm is not everything and it won't last forever.
You can get out of the storm and you will get out of the storm.
And when you get out, you're going to see the sun again.
But right now, you're being tried.
You're being forged.
You're being tested by fire and by pain.
The dust.
So you've got to have some reasons that when life knocks you down and it's going to,
Hello, it's going to knock you down.
When people disappoint you and that's going to happen.
When they betray you and that's going to happen.
When they lie to you and that's going to happen
and they say, oh, you can count on me and they won't show up.
And that's going to happen.
When you want to throw in the towel and give up yourself
and that's going to happen, when life collapsed on you
and catch you on the blind side, it dropped you to your knees and start choking you.
You got a dream, no, I ain't got no dream.
And that's going to happen.
What reason can you remember that you can call on that you can
reach on that can make you get back up. Find that reason.
Because life had knocked me down. I said, life, I'm doing this because I want to make my
mama proud of me. I'm doing this because I want my children to have a better life than what
I had. I'm doing this because all my life I've been told I'd be a loser that I wouldn't
make it. Fail the test. Don't give in. Don't quit.
Of our actions echo into eternity.
Long after we're gone, our lives also have an echo.
We really want to avoid all the criticism.
And if you really want to avoid all the critics in your life,
then do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing.
And you never get their attention.
But if you are something and you're doing something, you become something,
guess what? You get their attention.
And that kisses them off because they can never be what you are now.
So the only they can do to make something feel good is try to bring you the p-down.
I say thank you for that.
Thank you for acknowledging the fact that I'm doing something to do something to feel good.
the fact that I'm doing something.
I don't know who the you are.
You seem to know who I am.
They respond negatively because they never done anything in their life.
Why they're pretty.
Never play it.
Because they've never done anything,
all they can do is cast votes and negative negativity
to someone that had done it.
You guys only what man up ever do with the first place.
You finally made it to the big leagues.
And now you want to chill?
Now you got the big hat.
Now you can't grind.
You're here now.
You hear now.
You finally made.
And this is where you break up, this is where you start chilling, this is where you get comfortable.
You made it now, now, you're in the big leagues now, they're watching you now.
This is where you make it firmin it.
You know, I saw it, I saw perfect, perfect, no practice don't make perfect.
Practice make firminets.
There are winners, there are losers, and there are people who have not discovered how to win.
One of the things limiting you from your income, your impact, a world-class life.
You care too much about what people think about you.
Now we're in the modern age and we are frightened.
We are terrified.
Our amygdala goes crazy.
Cortisol, the fear hormone, starts to pulse through our system if we leave the crowd.
Everyone has an opinion.
Why let the opinions of other people deny you from a life that will
make history. Listen to me. Your life matters. What you do in your life matters. You were born
to do something great with your life. You were put here for a reason, which is to make a difference in the
world, which is to change your own family's tree, which is to do something great with your life.
I promise you you you were put here for that in little ways and in big ways. And there will be an echo
for your life. The actions of your life will echo into eternity. The question is, will that echo for
you be a whisper into eternity or a roar.
Every single person who has ever done anything worthwhile or exceptional or difficult or extraordinary,
anyone, whether it's great artists or authors or mathematicians or whatever the f it is,
everyone encounters difficulties.
There is no easy road.
It does not exist.
It is impossible.
Everyone has issues.
Stop crying.
Stop begging.
Put forth the effort.
Because one thing I know about life,
whatever you sow, you're going to reap it.
If you put a million apple seeds in the ground,
you're going to get a million apple trees back.
I want you to see yourself doing what you want to do,
experiencing what you want to experience.
Having what you want to have,
doing what it is that gives your life some meaning about it.
operate out of your imagination, not your memory.
Because whatever you look at where you want to go,
I'm going to warn you,
you will have some conversation back here
after you go through the data that you've experienced in life
saying you can't do it.
And so what you want to begin to do is ignore that inner conversation.
It does not take talent.
You don't have to be talented.
Right?
You don't have to be gifted.
You don't have to be the quickest, the strongest.
You don't have to be the most intelligent.
That's what you gotta do.
You just got to grind, though.
You're crying.
You've got to outgrines.
Here's one way you never better yourself.
When you come up with excuses for why other people are successful and you're not.
The key point, our hearts at also is all the suppressed emotions that we pick up as we go through life.
The shadow side.
All of the suppressed emotions that we do not feel, like guilt, anger, shame, disappointment, frustration that we pick.
that we pick up as we go through life.
If those are not dealt with,
they come back in ugly ways.
It's not about any of that.
But what it is about is
a lot of us give total control
to life.
We don't have any control of it.
We just give all control to life.
I do the, every morning, prepare my mind
for what life's going to throw at it.
A healthy body gives a healthy mind.
gives a healthy mind. That's what it's about.
So if you're going to battle, you're not going to battle the right mindset,
your right gear. In combat, you're our body armor.
But what we do wrong is we're going to strengthen our minds.
You gotta strengthen your mind.
Take control of that.
So then when you get out in the real world,
you're up. You got to text you.
Everybody want to be a beast.
And it's time to do with that.
do. If you shrink, if you play small, if you don't take risks, if you don't take those
actions, if you don't keep improving, you don't keep growing, then your life will just whisper
into eternity and you weren't put here to be a whisper. You were put here to be a roar into
eternity. I know that for you. When something happens to them, what they do is they begin to
believe that that's the way it is. Listen to me, you better grow up and get to the point as a man
That if you ever get beat, you better get beat by somebody that's just purely more talented than you are.
You better not ever get beat by somebody because you beat yourself.
Stay focused. Don't listen to nobody because what's destined for you, you're going to get it.
