You keep telling yourself that you're late.
Late to success.
Late to healing.
Late to becoming the person that you dream of being.
But what if you're not late at all?
What if you're being prepared in ways that the world can't see?
We have about five choices in our life.
We can be bad at what we do.
I mean, we can be average at what we do.
I mean, we can be good at what we do,
which, or we can be excellent or we can be elite.
And everybody has a choice as what they want to do
and how they want to do that.
But if you're going to be excellent or elite,
you've got to do special things.
You have to have special intensity.
You have to have special focus.
You have to have a special commitment and drive and passion
to do things at a high level and a high standard all the time.
The grind is like, you've got to be there every day.
If you're there three days a week, it's not as good as five.
You've got to be there five days.
And five might be better than seven.
Because sometimes seven you burn out.
You want to keep enthusiasm because that's a fuel.
And discipline's critical.
You have to be able to show up.
You don't like losing enough and it shows.
Ducking out of formative challenges because you want a perfect scorecard.
That's how mediocrity will float with you.
Make the easy way you look a lowering, lowering your standards.
Mightn't know chill for the ground, but you can't trick your spirit.
I'm sorry.
God gave you that gift so you better use it.
You better go out there and hold down.
hell till the lesson reveals itself.
You better give thanks for every chance you get.
Because before this Spider-Man quote with great power comes great responsibility
to those who much is given, much is required.
So show up and lose.
That's how you win.
It does not serve you to cast your power outside of yourself
and give that as the reason for why you lack the success that you will.
You could be right. And so what?
What a hero or see a situation?
like that, there's also something that I think is more powerful, which is the more fucked up your childhood, the more fucked up the things that you went through to get to where you are, the more you can serve as an example for other people who have suffered the same things that you've suffered or suffered worse than you've suffered.
Wouldn't it be cooler to be right about the fact that that was true and and you won instead, and you won anyways, and you succeeded despite that?
I think that's a much cooler story.
Everything happens twice.
If you want something and you think about it,
it's the first time where it's happening.
And then the only thing from that actually becoming reality
is it putting in the work,
but it all starts with you thinking and believing
that you can get there.
You cannot change your life unless you change something.
If you always do,
what you always did, you'll always get what you always got.
Why bother? Why try?
I mean, what difference does it make in the end?
Maybe these are some of the voices that you've heard going on inside of your head.
Maybe it's something you've told yourself out loud.
So why try? What does it matter in the end?
It matters because you woke up today.
And so many people did it.
You woke up today and took a breath.
You saw light coming through the window, and so many people didn't.
It's what you say to yourself on a daily basis.
If you say you can't hurt me.
Can't hurt me.
When you fail, you fall on your ass, somebody bullies you.
Whatever's going on your life, can't hurt me.
It starts to get in your mind.
And before you know it, it's the truth.
The hardest thing is to start.
Start, man.
Start, man. Most people are frozen with fear and you're frozen with the how-to. Quit
worrying about if you don't have the education, if you don't have all the credentials.
You need division and you got to be ready to work. You got to go for it.
Endurance is the key. Sometimes you just got to outlash your enemy. He may have you overpower. He may have you outnumbered.
Sometimes you just got to endure.
You got to have that power to be able to just stay with it until the end, until it's all over.
Do not quit.
The dreams that you have still exist within you.
And that means there is still the capacity for them to become a reality.
But so many people have lost that opportunity because they didn't wake up today.
But you did.
You woke up.
And you have this chance.
You have this chance right now.
And the best part is that you don't have to wait till tomorrow.
You don't have to stand there and say,
if only I had done what I should have done last week, last month, last year.
All of that can change right now.
Whether it's adversity, whether it's suffering, whether it's pain.
If you choose to run towards it,
who you become on the other side of it is a newer, higher,
more transcendent version of you.
You're not as far away from these dreams as you think you are.
You're actually a lot closer than you think.
But because you think it's so far away,
you behave in accordance with that belief system
and it always keeps it that far away from you.
First thing is you need to believe and know that you're one decision,
one relationship, one meeting, one book, one thought,
one something away from a completely different life.
And when you know that, then you begin to look for them.
Not waste the experience.
If we look at a journey, something that we want to accomplish,
want to accomplish, don't turn out the way we wanted to, we throw it to the side.
Nah, man, I'm cool on that.
That ain't it.
Right?
And we waste their experience.
It's like, no, I don't waste that.
Learn from it.
Even if you're tired, you can still go to the gym.
Even if you're annoyed with your spouse, you can still speak in a manner that's loving.
Even you don't feel like doing that hard work, you can still push yourself to do it.
Your feelings aren't a choice.
Your behavior and your thoughts are always a choice.
Today, I want to remind you of a truth that often gets overshadowed by the noise of doubt and skepticism.
You are born to be great, and within your heart lies the compass that points to your dreams.
It's time to follow that compass, to pursue your passions with unwavering determination, and to silence the doubters and the naysayers.
Life is too short to be spent living someone else's dream or bowing to the opinions of those who say you can't.
Instead, I urge you to listen to this, your heart.
You do anything it adds up when you do nothing it amounts to zero.
So take the small steps every day.
Do what you're supposed to do.
And don't expect some incredible results in one day or two days or ten days.
Worth while things, they take time.
And you go on that mission to up.
to upgrade yourself to become the 2.0 version of yourself.
That is threatening, that is scary to the people around you.
They don't know this version of you anymore.
They can't relate to you.
Maybe your story isn't to receive the opportunity from somebody else,
but maybe your story is to make the opportunity for yourself.
To step out on life, to play for loud,
no more playing small.
You were never made to play small.
You were meant to play for loud.
And I want to say,
see it happen because I know that you are capable of it.
I don't care what you've been told in the past.
I don't care what you've told yourself in the past.
But as of right now, right now, everything changes.
Go get it.
This is it, man.
It's your time.
This is your moment.
You've been praying for an opportunity.
Here it is.
You've got to walk into that season of your life.
I just hope you ready for it.
The odds of you being on this earth is one in four hundred
So you were chosen to be here.
The only difference between you and the person who is going after their purpose is the choice of being chosen,
believing that they are chosen.
Those who are great are those who choose to be chosen.
Discipline is rooted in the truth we tell ourselves.
That's what it is. Discipline is rooted in the truth we tell ourselves.
Because if you tell yourself the truth, if you tell yourself the truth, and the truth is,
And the truth is I'm not happy with where I'm at.
That's the truth.
The truth is I can do more.
The truth is I can do much better than I'm doing right now.
And if that's the real truth, if that's what you believe, if you believe that to be the truth,
you won't have to find more discipline.
Discipline will find you.
If you value your goals, you need structure.
You need a routine that gives you the best possible chance.
at achieving them. Whatever it is for you, find a way to start your day that makes you feel your best.
There's a good chance you already know what that is, and it's likely something hard that you'd rather
put off. You will always fall into a routine. You either create one, or it will be handed to you.
You choose. You don't have the answers and it's probably pretty damn scary. And I say that's okay.
because that is how it is.
This is the reality that many of you are facing.
This is the world that we live in.
In a world filled with noise, your voice, your actions, and your decisions have the power
to carve out silence, a silence in which you can find your true self and your path to success.
It's easy to get lost in the crowd to follow the well-trovish.
and path, but your journey, it's unique.
It's not defined by the cacophony of doubts and fears,
but by your ability to rise above it.
Embrace the solitude of ambition.
Let it be your guide in the chaos.
Remember, the tallest trees grow in the deepest silence.
Feelings are like waves in the mind.
in the mind and you just want to just be with them you want to be in the misery
you want to be in the pain you want to be in the emotional suffering just being
there without any resistance as if you're letting waves just move through you and
watch it stay with it and they will dissolve like waves dissolve and back into the
ocean the feelings will dissolve into the mind your gift will make room for you
and in time that room will be large enough to stand in
And then the room will be filled with people.
And then the people filled with your light.
And when they leave, they take that light with them.
You see, your light, when confined to you, only goes as far as you can travel.
But sharing your light with one other person, two other people, three other people,
now that, that might just change the world.
You're going, right?
Where you're destined to go, it's not supposed to feel good all the time.
It's not supposed to be easy.
You know, so when you're going through scenes of discomfort, seasons of feeling overwhelmed,
feeling pulled in a lot of different directions, understand that it's a part of you getting
to the place that you want to be, you getting to the best version of yourself.
It's all playing a role.
And, you know, like, that vision that you have for yourself, you know, the dreams and the
aspirations you have for yourself, like, they're not easy to attain.
Like some people's expectations, their belief systems are.
Life should be taken care of me.
I got to show people that life is calling to you.
You need to deliver something to life.
Because as long as you're waiting for somebody to take care of you,
then you're always the victim.
You're always waiting.
Whereas if you think that I'm here to deliver something to life,
I have a responsibility to life to give something,
not just get something.
That's when people feel alive because what you get never makes you happy.
Don't walk through the world looking for evidence that you don't belong.
Because you will always find it.
Don't walk through the world looking for evidence
that you're not enough because you'll always find it.
Our worth and our belonging are not negotiated with other people.
Persevere.
Nothing worthwhile is easy.
No one of achievement has avoided failure,
sometimes catastrophic failures.
They keep at it.
They learn from mistakes.
They don't.
You were given a gift, but let me tell you right now,
it comes at a cost.
Your gift is not free.
What's the cost?
You have to work for it.
You have to work at.
You have to manifest it.
You have to grow it.
You have to get better at it.
You have to get better at sharing your gift.
You have to cultivate your gift so much that you can share it.
Your God-given gift doesn't guarantee that you will succeed.
It just guarantees you an opportunity.
And let me tell you what an opportunity you have.
Your potential is like that tree, waiting to rise above the noise, to reach heights
Unseen. This is your moment to tune out the distractions to focus on what truly matters.
Your growth. Your journey. Your impact. Your success. Rise above the noise and let your actions
declare to the whole world your purpose. And so what's the point of climbing this mountain that the
world says we should climb in order to be successful and happy and realize at the end of a career,
at the end of a life, we've climbed the wrong now. Are you interested in achieving these goals?
Or are you committed? That question transformed my life. If you're interested, you'll do what's
convenient. You'll come up with stories and excuses and reasons why you can't. But if you're committed,
you will do whatever it takes. You'll let go of your stories. You'll let go of your excuses. You'll let go of all,
the reasons you currently have that are formulating your identity of yourself and you'll learn
how to let that go and become who you are destined to become.
You have to travel light if you want to go high. You've got to give up to go up. That's what this
law is all about. Less is more. This law teaches us that there is no reward without paying the
price. Pay now. Play later. If you play now, if you play now,
you'll pay me what he taught me was invaluable that was the root of the law of
sacrifice if you give up you could certainly go up and life is giving you a new
opportunity sometimes it's good to take it and when this lifetime takes
something from you you need to learn to let go so you need to foster the belief in
what you are dreaming so that it becomes a reality
which is very different than saying,
I don't expect anybody to believe it until I see it.
You need people to believe it before they can see it.
Your imagination is there.
Don't you remember when you were a child?
You believed everything that you thought.
You believed everything that your imagination could draw up.
But then people told you to be realistic.
People told you to come back to reality.
People told you what you can and cannot do
and as a young, innocent child,
that you can only do so much.
It's time to stop believing those lies.
You wake up every single morning and you have a choice.
You can choose to do the thing that you did yesterday that got you closer to your goal
or you can choose to do something else.
That's your choice.
So if you're asking me how to stay consistent,
you just have to choose to do the thing you did yesterday that got you closer to your goals.
The reason you don't stay consistent is because you make the wrong choice.
There's no hack.
There's no secret.
There's no motivational video that's going to make.
make it so you make the right choice.
When you have nothing left and you feel like emptiness is the only thing that you know,
it's very easy to fall into hopelessness.
But have you ever thought that maybe you have to be emptied of what was
so that you can be refilled with what's to be?
Maybe this emptiness is what you've been asking for in its impensity.
So maybe you're in your empty.
empty on purpose.
Find something.
Find a thing that you genuinely enjoy because getting good at things you genuinely enjoy is
extremely beneficial.
The less you challenge yourself, the less you grow.
You can't run from discomfort because you think you can't overcome it.
Put yourself in situations that force you to improve, build new habits and destroy the bad
once. In order to feel fulfilled in this life, you always need a dragon to slay. So set a goal,
choose your own adventure, and embrace the challenge. Your excuses will destroy you and take everything
that you ever wanted from you if you let them. When your excuses make you feel a little bit better
about the fact that you didn't execute on what you needed to execute on, then they can make you
feel better. But they're not helping you. They're not helping you. They're not helping you.
at all. You see, what stands between loss and achieving even our most ambitious dreams has far less
to do with possessing some magical skill or talent and far more to do with how we approach problems
and make decisions to solve them. You're living on frequencies. Now, when you think of something,
what you've done is you've flipped your brain onto a higher frequency. The very fact you can see it
is all the proof you need to know you could get it. What you have to do is raise your level of
consciousness to that frequency. And then you will attract whatever.
every on that frequency, all the good you need to manifest the idea.
Any idea that's held in the mind that's emphasized,
that's either feared or revered, so it could be better good.
We'll begin at once to clothe itself in the most convenient,
and appropriate form available.
It starts to move into form.
The way that I see it, given that we don't know the future,
given that much of our motivations are invisible to us,
we're not a crystal pond that we can see into.
You have to have some form of delusion about what's going to happen in the future.
You're trying your best to see the way that it's going to be,
but given that the glass could be half empty or half full,
why not have a delusion that's going to be useful to you, one of hope,
even in the face and the understanding that things might be difficult
and that there's going to be obstacles.
Even when I do not feel like doing something to do it,
that my brain doesn't dictate how my brain does not get to chew.
My brain can feel a certain way.
But it's not going to choose how I behave all the time.
I just can't let it do it anymore.
I'm going to have setbacks, I know.
But if I'm feeling bad, that doesn't mean I'm doing bad.
That doesn't mean I am bad.
That doesn't mean that I can't still take some action.
Leonardo da Vinci famously said,
God will sell you anything at the price of labor.
And that is true.
So what you have to do is if you want something, you have to work for.
And most people that think that the world is based off of luck have never truly worked for
something.
Not enough to understand that luck does not exist.
It's merely a game of probabilities.
You work hard, you work more, you work longer, and eventually you can increase your odds
of success.
And you have to increase your probabilities by increasing your skill set.
Do it sad, do it angry, do it heartbroken, do it miserable, do it.
excited, do it energized, do it happy, do it tired, do it confident, do it discouraged, do it anyway.
However, you got to get it done, make sure it gets done. That's what separates the winners from
the losers. That's what separates those that get what they want from those that only talk about
what they want. So whatever you got to do, get it done. I'll do it or die. See, that's powerful.
That could be the day that turns your life, Earth. The world has a strange way of stepping aside
when somebody says, I'll do it or die.
The man says I will climb the mountain.
They've told me it's too high, it's too far, it's too rocky, it's too difficult.
It's never been done before, but it's my mountain I will climb it.
Promise yourself you will never give up.
Don't confuse movement with progress, because you can run in place and not get anything done.
So are you moving forward and who you're taking with you,
and how you made things better by the?
the God-given talent that you all have, whatever area it may be.
You can say I'm committed, but until you eliminate other options, you're not committed.
A lot of people make decisions to end relationships to quit their job,
but they don't become committed to the decision until they remove the other options,
and then you're forced to take action on it.
And I think there are two different instances.
It's like, I need to change this, and then I do change it.
And the making the decision is when it becomes a commitment.
Again, courage does not mean you're not afraid.
Courage means you're afraid, but you do it anyway.
I don't negotiate with myself.
That pattern of thinking is what destroys most people's lives and their dreams.
I need you to believe the fight that you're in is worth fighting for.
I know you've been cut.
I know you've been beat up, bruised, blood, sweat, and tears,
and maybe you're on all fours lying in the dirt right now.
But you have to believe that it's worth getting up just one more time.
Because if not now, then when.
And if not you, then who?
It has to be you.
It has to be you.
Not your mom, not your dad, not your friend, your brother, sister.
It has to be you.
We have to always remember.
Our purpose will always be there.
But the purpose is myself.
Your mind has to be stronger than your feelings.
On those bad days, when you think that you're alone, you just might be.
Because you know why?
No one else wants to.
Do it. So you be the that always gets it done.
My message is to keep going. Don't quit.
There's something deep inside of each of us. There's something deep inside of you.
And often when we're walking a path, an unknown path towards a goal or a desire of our heart,
there's really no idea or a landmark of where we're going other than it's different and it's scary and it's unique.
And there's so many unknowns. And my message is keep walking.
And don't quit.
If you can't walk anymore,
to crawl, drag yourself to whatever you have to do.
Don't quit.
Learn how to handle the winters.
It's a fact of life.
Winters follow the fall, the harvest.
Winter comes after fall.
Night comes after day.
Difficulty follows opportunity.
Recession always comes after.
expansion. So the winters are going to come. The winter of sickness, the winter of
disappointment, the winter of devastation, social winters, economic winters, personal winters
when your heart is smashed in a thousand pieces and the nights are unusually long,
it's simply called wintertime. No one's been through what you've been through. No one's
had to endure what you've had to endure. Single mother, single father, failing grades in class,
still trying to be a student athlete, still trying to just make ends meet. Accepting more
responsibility as an older sibling playing the role of parent, it's not easy, but it's not
supposed to be. And these challenges, these trials, these pitfalls that have brought you to your
knees, it's not meant to break you, it's meant to make you. Decide every day where you're going
to put your best efforts, where you're going to feel.
focus your energy. Every single day you must design your focus intentionally. God has a plan for you,
but make no mistake, so does the adversary. And when you are not intentional with your time,
intentional with your choices and your resources, when you don't drive your mind and your heart
down the right path, trust me, there will be more than enough distractions to pull you off your
course and away from your purpose. There's something inside you. There is something that is calling
from the depths of your spirit, recognizing that you're met for so much more. And that looks different
for each of us. But we all have it, and we all know it, and we hear the call. And sometimes
we're distracted. Sometimes life throws so many things at us that we can't hear it. But in those
quiet moment to those opportunities, it's there.
The one major question I got was, how
I finished where I start?
I get two weeks into it, and then I stop.
So this is the thing about, I'm going to tell you
what people in Oak want to tell you.
Why you stop?
It's because they're lazy.
It's because no mind getting bad grades at school.
It doesn't bother you enough to be mediocre,
to the average, to sit
and watch people do great things.
You don't mind it.
So there's your answer.
Your answer is you don't care about yourself.
When people can't get up in the morning,
I'm going to tell you why.
Because they can predict the feeling
of everything that's going to happen in their life.
And their bodies resigned to the familiar.
It says, oh, another mundane day.
But remember when you were a kid
and you were going on a field trip?
What happened then?
You were up and dressed and ready to go
before your parents were up
because you knew something unexpected was going to happen.
That's how we should live our lives, waking up with the understanding to expect the unexpected,
and something unusual should happen in our life as a result of our efforts.
Everything you already have, because what you have is substantial.
The ability to dream is a blessing.
The fact that you have an opportunity to get it right is another blessing.
The fact that you have any measure of health, that's another blessing.
But here's what you can do.
You can get stronger, you can get wiser, and you can get better.
The winters won't change, but you can.
And that's how life changes for you.
When it was hard, I used to wish it was easy.
I didn't know.
Don't wish it was easier.
Wish you were better.
Don't wish for less problems.
Wish for more skills.
Don't wish for less challenge.
wish for more wisdom.
We always have choice.
You always have choice.
You can look at your life and recognize
there's things you want to change.
You can look at your life and recognize
that's not where you want to be.
And you can choose to be different.
And that looks different for each of us.
Sometimes it means just getting out of bed.
Sometimes it means just getting up when you fall down.
Sometimes it's these big, bold decisions.
And other times, it's the small, simple things.
those shifts that allow us to be grinked.
You can also stay where you are.
You can be comfortable.
You cannot make that choice to be bold
and to step into the unknown.
And you'd be the same way you are now.
The journey is the gift.
Being uncomfortable is the gift.
And it doesn't get easier.
When you get stronger, you get stronger.
My message is don't quit.
Whatever you do, don't you quit.
And let this come home.
Your life.
is the exact reflection of the choices you have made.
Love your life? Great. You've made awesome choices.
Hate your life? I'm sorry. You've made bad choices.
But the good news is you're in control.
It's time to take action. It's time to take action.
It's time to get your reps in. It's time to take the center spotlight.
grab the mic and come off of mute.
The time is now.
No more waiting.
You have to start developing that personal self-esteem.
And it has to be something that...
It's an internal thing.
It has to come from a lot of hard work and dedication.
You have to start callousing over that victim's mentality.
You have to start building this mental armor.
That no matter what anybody said that you can...
being a room full of a million people, and all million can be like against you and calling
your names and whatever, you like this.
You know what?
Roger that.
You can go f*** yourself, man.
Can I know exactly where I'm going?
Embrace the discomfort.
It's not here to break you.
It's here to mold you.
Pain is proof that you're on the edge of something bigger.
Growth never comes wrapped in comfort.
It comes through struggle, through resistance, through moments that test.
whether you actually want what you say you do.
Every challenge is a doorway.
Step through it and you evolve.
Shy away and you stay the same.
So let the suffering sharpen you.
Smile through the fire.
Because on the other side,
there's a version of you that exists
only if you refuse to quit.
You've said you're going to go for the runs.
You've said you're going to wake up early
and get in that cold shower.
What do you do when keeping people?
those promises are the last thing on this earth you want to do. I know what I do and I'll
explain it to you like this. You wouldn't know that keeping the promise is the last thing I want
to do unless I told you because I show up like I love it. I promise the stars rarely align
for me, but it's a good thing. I don't depend on the external to dictate my consistency.
Once you find out you want, regardless of what it is,
Then you combine the mind and the body together as when life gets exciting guys.
Stories of inspiration where the person overcomes the odds.
When you see the good man, pull up their brakes.
Put your hands together, man.
Give credit where it's due.
Remember the name of the person that overcame the odds.
Because that same person you're going to use in your own battle one day.
When you hit rock bottom and you feel like the walls and monkeys on your back
and Murphy's hit you down every single step,
you're going to use that inspiration that's take that one more step forward
that makes all a difference.
If you do it, though, because it's hard.
It's uphill battle.
It's a path less taken, not the beaten path to everyone else takes.
It's a path that leads a character.
You got to earn that.
He said, I want what all other men want.
He said, I guarantee you, when I line up and they line up,
I want with all other men run.
I guarantee you, when you line up in your one-on-one battles,
you want with all other men want.
The same way you want the victory, they want the victory.
I want with all other men run.
He said, but when the pressure hits, when the opposition hits, when the challenge hits, when the pain creeps in, when the uncertainty creeps in, when the cuts, when the scars, when the bruises come, I walk what all other men want.
He said, but when the opposition and adversity shows up, I just want it a little bit more than they want it.
And so that's how I conquer, and that's how nobody has ever beaten me yet.
I just want one thing for me. As great as you are, as skill.
as you are, as talented as you are, I just want one thing for me.
Never allow like to make you forget why you do what you do.
People don't burn out, people don't quit, people don't underachieve, people don't settle because of what they do.
People burn out, people quit, people underachieve, and people settle because light makes them forget why they do it.
If we respect it the way we say we respect it, if we love it the way we say we love it,
if we cherish it the way we say we cherish it, every single day,
should be nothing less that excellence.
You might not always be your best,
but you can always bring me your best.
It begins to change your belief system.
See, the way in which we operate, ladies and gentlemen,
it's a manifestation of what we believe, what's possible for us.
Whatever you've done up to this point,
all that it really is is a duplication,
it's a reproduction of what you believe subconsciously
that you deserve and what's possible for your life.
I'm saying that if you know anybody that had some goals, some green, something they wanted to do,
and they did it, then I'm saying that you know in your heart that if someone has done it, then you can do it.
It's possible.
And that if someone can make that dream become a reality, that it's possible that you can make your dream become reality.
But if you don't take that trip and the darkness comes to visit you, it's a guess that will never leave.
We're not going to understand you, bro.
They're not going to understand why you skip parties.
They're not going to understand why you stop drinking.
They're not going to understand why you stay home to work on a Saturday night instead of hit the club.
They're going to ask questions.
They're going to make comments.
They're going to make fun of you.
They're going to make you feel like you're the problem.
And that's okay.
Because one day it's going to become very obvious why you did it.
You see something that they don't.
You see a reality that they don't think is possible.
You're trying to achieve something that they think is reserved for the lucky few.
and when you do achieve it,
they're going to feel very stupid
because they're going to wish that they had spent their years
chasing a goal instead of chasing a high.
Obsession beats talent every single time.
I've never seen it in my life
where even an extremely talented person
beats the most obsessed individual
who looks at their goals
and decides to go after them with everything that they have.
So the question is, are you obsessed?
awareness always show up.
They're willing to lose and already gain.
Big mental thing there, guys.
This body is great as you are.
As sharp as you make the arsenal.
It can't do anything.
If you don't have confidence in yourself,
we all fall down in life.
The question is, who gets back up?
You go after and you give it all you had.
If you lose, at least you tried.
I fail.
It's ten times more of a man,
and someone said, what if?
Because what if never went to the arena.
When you guys find a fear
that fear will either create you or destroy you.
I love fear.
The reason why, behind every fear is a person you want to be.
Fear is self-imposed, meaning it doesn't exist.
You create it, you mean destroy it too.
It's an intangible.
If you face your fears, guys, you will realize it's not that big.
And once you face it, you go, oh my God, man,
it's did all this time running from it.
It was so small.
If I just faced it, I'm like, God, not only did I face it, I beat it back.
Energy's never lost.
Transfer, that negative energy, a fear is destroyed.
It comes back against confidence.
Where else my...
Where else my whole life back from?
What am I running from?
I don't need to.
What else can I overcome?
You face your fears.
You become the person you want to be.
You run from your fears?
You're not living.
You're alive, or you're not digging the freedom.
You're not running the day.
A day's running you.
You always be the servant, not the master, guys.
It's hard when you're young to wake up in the off-season
at 6 a.m. to go train and workout.
knowing that all your friends are sleeping in and eating pancakes.
It's hard when you're on your way to practice,
way down with all your gear,
and it's 90 degrees out and all the other kids are at the pool or at the beach.
And your body is already completely exhausted from workouts in two a day.
But understand this, life is hard.
There are bumps and hits and bruises along the way.
And my advice is to prepare yourself.
That success and achievement come from overcoming adversity.
This ain't you, bro.
This ain't you.
You weren't born like this.
You've made no progress.
None.
You never moved.
You might even be further from your goal than you were.
Hey, bro, I need to get back in that mode again.
That mode where nothing can take you off your pivot,
you were just putting in that work every single day.
See, that version of you is different.
You got to tap back into it.
Don't be out here telling you with your potential because you're one of the ones, bro.
You're special.
And you weren't meant to be a person that could have been the one.
You are the one.
So I need you to get back moving like it.
Covered.
And you're covered in blood and sweat and dirt and filth as you rise above what you were.
And as you take the form of who you are supposed to be,
you will see that in the very act of standing of.
in the very act of fighting on, you will become and you will remain unbroken.
If you find the fear, the quickest, the easiest way you can beat it is initially, right when it comes in.
If you allow to sit, it will grow roots and start breaking you down, destroy the potential of a person you can be.
Again, the champions, guys, it's not their potential, it's not their genetics.
It's their perseverance to always show up, always willing to fail, because in failure, that's part of success.
Success is not, you know, a marathon of life with just ups.
Success is formally two failures.
Through facing your fears, through falling down and getting back up,
that's what creates the champion.
Success does not define us.
We define the success.
You can do what you put your mind to.
And if you continue to put your mind to it,
the game opens up new levels.
In each new level that gets opened up,
you're able to adapt to a different mindset.
and a different approach. You can stop at that level, or you can go, I want more levels.
I want more fucking levels. Sometimes when you're in a dark place, you think you've been buried,
but actually you've been planted. You choose your damn sacrifice, because the sacrifice is inevitable.
If you had to create a human, what would you put them through to make them tough?
it probably wouldn't be a really chill life.
Time's so precious and it's fleeting.
Man, it's turning to hours and hours,
certain to days and days turning to months.
And that's it.
And so whatever it is that you want to do,
you don't have time.
Take advantage of every second.
Don't allow yourself to get to a point
where you're looking back of your life
and saying, I wish I would have done this
and I wish I would have done that.
Don't get there.
Whatever you do, bro,
Don't give up.
I know shit may feel like it's hitting the fan right now
and nothing is going your way,
but don't you dare give up
on the dreams that you know you're meant to have.
Your story could be somebody's blueprint.
Just don't give up.
Simple as that, bro.
Just do not give up.
One foot in front of the other.
Keep pushing every single day.
Take the risk or lose the chance.
Life begins at the edge of your comfort zone.
And it takes great courage.
to step across that line.
The easiest thing in this world of ours is to stay comfortable.
We are looking for people in this, you know, society
you step out of that and face challenge.
You don't need more time.
You need more focus.
You don't need more resources.
You need more resourcefulness.
You don't need more motivation.
You need more discipline.
You don't need more luck.
You need more strategy.
You don't need more support.
You need more belief.
The things you want to do, go do them.
You're waiting the rules.
You succeed.
You fail.
At least you made the effort.
You should play the damn game.
Play it.
Play it with everything you die.
Deep down aside, you're a little scared.
You don't know if this is going to become a reality or not.
And that scares you.
So what's the best alternative?
Don't give your best.
Why don't I give my best?
Because if I don't give my best,
can always hide behind the statement of if I gave my best I could beat everybody and
you know it's not the truth so you're watching this you got one of two choices
if you've said this before if you really did give your best and it became you
became the best of what you wanted to do is it worth it does everybody in your
family benefit from it so why not go find out because if you don't maybe
secret you are so scared you just trying to conceal it by giving
that statement of if I really wanted to be the best because it's such a warm fuzzy
place to hide so now answer that question for yourself if you really wanted to and
you gave your best in what you're currently doing where would you be a year three
years five years ten years from now the lobby is out here are pushing real hard
but we're afraid to go to that dark side and your mind
mind when you push real hard. You have this door in your mind. And a lot of us don't want to open that door.
Once you open that door, you're in a tunnel. It's a dark ass tunnel. And you can't see it.
But there's one thing about being in dark places. If you had the courage to stay in long enough,
your eyes will start to adjust to the darkness.
Your body and mind will always adjust to more suffering, to more pain.
If you want to push harder, know this.
Your mind quits way before your body does.
So you have to be willing to go away into that darkness and find more yourself.
I would say that not only you want to stop being scared to do that thing that you don't know if you can do or not,
but you know what you gotta do is you gotta start taking the steps now.
Because when you're 18 years old, your life seems like it's going to last forever.
And I will tell you right now, it's not going to last forever.
And those years go by like a summer's day.
And the next thing you know, you look up and you're 36 years old or you're 44 years old.
And that time's gone.
You cannot get it back.
You cannot get time back.
So those dreams that you have, those goals that you have,
don't put them off another second.
It was to remind you that you were born to do something great with your life,
to tap into something in you that's been there all the time,
and you tap into it sometimes,
but that somehow you decide today,
I'm going to walk a little different, I'm going to talk a little different.
I'm going to feel it.
I'm going to live my life.
I'm not going to wait around.
I'm gonna outwork everybody. I'm gonna do one more. If right now was the final chapter of the story of the book of your life,
are you satisfied with all the chapters? We're like, no, no, no, wait, hold on. Don't take me yet. I'm gonna write it. I'm about to write the chapter. Which would it be?
And if the decision is, man, I would like to write another chapter. I would like to give to it. Here's the good news you get to. I don't know how long you get, but you get to. You get to write another chapter. And what I believe is that if you put your head down, if you get focused, if you see, if you see,
stop worrying about what everybody thinks. If you start pursuing that person you are capable of,
if you start competing, if you start doing that out of love, you start honoring your family or the
people you care about. With the efforts you make every single day, you will find the emotion we're
all looking for in our life, which has been there all the time. You can hope, you can wish, you
could dream, you can say you're going to, but the reality is until you start stacking wins,
day by day by day, nothing's going to happen. The game is played one day at a time. And if you
have the capacity to wake up today, go through the entire day, do everything you're supposed to do,
be smart enough to figure out what the actions of a winner look like, and execute on those for one
day. That means you can do it again the next day. And that means you can do it again the next day.
You have exactly what's required to win at the highest level you could ever possibly win at.
It's about stacking wins in a cumulative fashion over the course of time. And when you do that,
Winning is undeniable.
