When you're empty, you can fill yourself up with whatever you'd like.
In fact, it's probably best that you're empty.
It makes it easier to be reborn.
Do you think I can be reborn?
Don't just stand there. You still have work to do.
You are not ready.
I know.
Like everyone else, you want to learn the way to win.
But never to accept the way to lose.
To accept defeat, to learn to die is to be liberated from it.
So when tomorrow comes, you must free your ambitious mind and learn the art of dying.
The most beautiful things and the authentic road and building what's for you and who you are and why you're here on this earth takes time.
And that means you have to become okay with the empty space.
that you really want to fill with urgency.
Because really it's not empty.
It's just in its infancy.
What is for you is in its infancy.
It's not empty.
Guess what? You're going to a new level.
New levels, new devils.
I just want you to know that it's worth it.
When you climb to a new level in your life,
you do face new devils, new challenges.
Even shocking setbacks that take place
or people that's let you down as you climb.
That's okay.
As long as you know they're coming.
I want you to know that for
Fighting off those new devils is worth it, and you become stronger every single time you do it.
Most of the learning in life comes from experience.
People say, well, do you learn more when you win or when you lose from failures or successes?
I've learned a lot from both.
And you know why?
They're unique experiences.
Let me tell you where I've never learned anything, treading water, doing nothing.
There's nothing worse than taking another journey around this earth exactly the same way, exactly the same experiences.
is life doesn't give us what we would like, what we wish for.
It doesn't even always give us what we dream for.
It'll give us what we're willing to fight for.
And these devils are coming.
And I'm not going to let that person derail my dream, my vision, my life,
or me getting to know who I'm fully capable of being.
What's it going to take for something within you to change?
There comes a time when you need to stop scrolling on Instagram for the answers
and just go turn yourself into a better person.
You know, someone out there wants it really bad
and all the work they're putting in right now hasn't paid off at all.
But they are winning.
They're more inspired by the pain of their own run than they are by watching someone else's on social media.
They're not concerned with generating the perfect excuse
because they're too busy generating the evidence that they are the person they claim to be.
That somebody will be something undeniable.
And I hope that somebody is you.
No, I'm ready.
You won't.
It's a leap of faith.
That's all it is, Miles.
A leap of faith.
We knew that this was not going to be an easy path.
We knew that 99% of people who are trying to obtain what we're trying to obtain don't make it.
And it's for this very reason.
So we really shouldn't be surprised.
We are right where we need to be.
We are facing the difficulties that we need to be facing.
All we must do is remain strong.
We must maintain our faith in God.
We must continue to make a number.
We must continue to make an honest effort.
We must continue to put our best foot forward.
We do not need to win this war today.
We do not need to build Rome by tomorrow.
We must strengthen our own kingdom within.
Strengthen our energy.
Become closer to our origin.
And there will be no external force that could ever contend with us.
Life is a storm, my young friend.
You will bask in the sunlight one moment.
He shuddered on the rocks the next.
What makes you a man is what you do when that storm comes.
that storm comes. You must look into that storm and shout as you did in Rome. Do your worst.
For I will do mine. Then the fates will know you as we know you. The man, darkness is a powerful
ally. If you know how to be friend it, you will not break the rock tonight or tomorrow,
or the next day, or perhaps ever.
to break the rock.
I said
to try to break the rock.
But evil
is as eternal
as this rock.
Even if you break the rock,
there will be pebbles.
Break the pebbles, there will be sand.
And evil remains.
You cannot change that
no matter how much you train.
Except what you cannot change.
It is not your burden to bear.
Life is meant to be lived with others.
It is too hard to do it alone.
Trust the pace of your process.
You might feel like you're behind,
like it's taking longer than it should.
But who told you it has to happen now?
This season is preparing you.
It's asking you to slow down
and let go of the things that are outside of your control.
The things you're waiting for,
for are happening in ways that you can't even see yet. So just be here. What's meant for you
won't miss you, but you have to be ready when it arrives. The reason that so many of you continue
to feel miserable every single day is because you cannot come to terms with the fact that life
is hard. That life is suffering. The reason life never meets your expectations is because you
have the wrong expectations. You expect it to be comfortable. You expect it to be comfortable. You expect it
to be easy. It's going to be like that 5% of the time, but 95% of the time, it's difficult. It's challenging.
It's a struggle. So long as you continue to sit around waiting for life to be sunshine and rainbows,
waiting for it to be easy, waiting to catch a break, you're going to be miserable. What you should do
instead is accept the challenges of life and take them head on. Decide once and for all that, yes,
life is hard, but I'm going to be harder. Well, the truth is, you know, sometimes.
I do get a little scared, you know.
But I'm in that ring and I'm really getting hit on.
And my arms hurt so much I can't even lift them.
And I was thinking, God, I wish this guy would hit me on the chin,
so I don't feel nothing anymore.
Then there's another side that comes out that isn't so scared.
It's another side that, like, wants to take more.
It wants to go that one more round.
because I go in a woman around
when you don't think you can
as it makes all the difference in your life
you know what I mean
let's cut the fluff
most of you watching this are asleep
you think you're awake because you're busy
you go through the motions
check the boxes
and convince yourself that someday
you'll have the life you want
but let me tell you something
you're lying
to yourself. The truth is brutal, but here it is, not losing because of a lack of talent,
intelligence, or luck. You're losing because you're soft, because every single day you choose
comfort over discipline. Right now, someone out there is grinding harder than you. They're doing
the work you avoid. They're building the skills you ignore. They're turning the dreams you only
talk about into reality. And while you're making excuses, they're making progress. This world doesn't
care about your excuses. It doesn't care about your potential. It cares about what you do. If you're not
willing to outwork the man who lives to work, don't expect to win. This isn't just a wake-up call.
It's a challenge. Do you have the guts to face yourself and admit that you're not doing enough?
because until you do, nothing will change.
Here's the first hard truth.
You are where you deserve to be.
If you're broke, struggling, or stuck,
it's because of the choices you've made.
I know that stings, but until you take responsibility,
you'll stay exactly where you are.
The second truth, there's no such thing as good enough.
The moment you settle, you lose.
The moment you say, this is fine, someone hungrier, tougher, and more focused, will take what you left on the table.
And here's the third truth.
No one is coming to save you.
Stop waiting for the perfect opportunity, the perfect timing, or someone to open a door for you.
The only person who can change your life is you.
You want to succeed?
Then stop complaining about how hard it is.
Life's hard for everyone.
What separates the winners from the losers is how they respond.
Winners take the pain and turn it into power.
Losers let it break them.
So ask yourself, are you fighting for your future, or are you just surviving?
Because if you're not fighting, you're already losing.
Let's talk about why most people fail.
It's not because they lack talent.
It's not even because they're lazy.
It's because they can't handle the truth about themselves.
Most people spend their lives running from failure, from discomfort, and most importantly, from responsibility.
They blame their circumstances, their upbringing, or other people.
They hide behind distractions like Netflix, social media, or endless planning instead of doing.
But here's what you need to understand.
Everything you want is on the other side of pain.
Growth doesn't happen in comfort zones.
Success doesn't come from wishing for it.
It comes from sacrificing for it.
Think about this.
Every time you hit snooze, skip a workout, or procrastinate, you're building a habit.
And that habit is teaching your brain that it's okay to quit.
The more you quit, the easier it gets.
And before you know it, quitting becomes your default setting.
You want to know why you're failing.
Look at your habits.
Look at how you spend your time.
Look at the excuses you make.
That's where failure starts.
But here's the good news.
If failure is a choice, so is success.
You can flip the script anytime you want.
But it starts with owning your actions.
No one else can do that for you.
Let me make this simple.
Winning is a game of consistency, not perfection.
Stop waiting to feel ready.
inspired or motivated. Those feelings are fleeting. What lasts is discipline. Here's the formula.
One, commit. Decide right now that you're done with excuses.
Burn the bridges to your old habits and make a plan that scares you. If it doesn't scare you,
it's not big enough. Two, simplify. Cut the nonsense from your life. If it doesn't move you
closer to your goals, it's a distraction.
3. Outwork everyone. Don't just show up. Show up early. Stay late. Put in the hours that others won't. Success doesn't care how you feel. It only cares about what you produce.
4. Fail forward. Stop being afraid of mistakes. Every failure is a lesson. Every setback is an opportunity to grow. You don't need luck. You don't need talent. What you need is grit. The willingness to do the work. Day after day.
day when no one's watching, no one's clapping, and when nothing seems to be working, that's how you win.
Listen to me, the life you want is not waiting for you. It's not sitting there, ready to fall into your lap.
You have to go out and take it. But here's the thing. Most people don't realize. Time is running out.
Every second you waste is a second you'll never get back. Every day you put off the work is a day someone else pulls ahead.
Stop pretending you have all the time in the world.
You don't.
The clock is ticking.
And the only question is, when to take action?
Or are you going to let it slip away?
This is your moment.
Not tomorrow.
Not next week.
Right now.
The absence of purpose, we will start digging holes in our life.
Any vice will lead to
self-destruction, holes in your life.
And so people who think like, no, no, I'm a human being.
I'm like, no, bro, you're a human animal.
You're a human animal until you get to a point of self-awareness and consciousness
where literally these eyes, which is just a window that you're experiencing life through,
and you can respond and not react.
The majority says if you go through heartbreak, if you're on your knees because your
life is falling apart, rush out as quickly as possible.
What I've discovered is stay in as long as possible
because difficulty is growth in wolf's clothing.
The greatest people on the planet have suffered the most.
Suffering is not bad.
I'm suggesting suffering is awesome.
The ego runs from suffering because it's the death of the ego.
But I believe pain, difficult times, failure, loss.
is purification and preparation for personal heroism.
We're trying so hard in our lives to fit in.
Yet the people we idolize are most are the ones that stand out.
You stop making excuses.
You have to accept that all your excuses are lies.
They are lies.
Think about the things that you tell yourself,
the lies you use to rationalize,
taking the easy road, leaving discipline behind. You don't have time. That's a lot. You're too
busy. Sure you are. That's a lot. The truth is you have time. You have the skill. You have
the knowledge and the support and the willpower and the discipline to get it done. Cast out the lies.
earn them down and listen to the truth and live the truth and go out and get it done.
You got to get real darkish. You got to get downright funky if you want to make it.
Now like I was saying you before, if you want to be ordinary, you ain't even got to listen to me.
Just go about your business.
Every challenge that you are facing, it belongs to your journey.
It is part of your journey and to acknowledge, to accept whatever life is throwing at you,
and still have on the mind that this is like just a test.
This is how I used to think for myself.
I never backed for an easy life.
But when challenges are coming right now, and especially when you then realize if you want, you can overcome them.
See, the point is, you don't know how much future you've got.
What's gone is gone.
There's absolutely nothing you can do about it.
Some of you have had divorces.
Some of you have probably had bankruptcies.
Some of you've had terrible things happen in the past.
But what's gone is gone.
It's in the past.
And to spend your time focusing on the past is to spend the only thing that you've got,
and that's what's right here, right now, because the sand never stops running.
This is all we've got.
And to spend your time now thinking of what happened there is making absolute certain
that the future is going to be the same as the past.
The bigger issue with fine is that you see.
Say it to yourself.
That thing that you want, I guarantee you, you've convinced yourself that you're fine, not having it.
That's why you're not pushing yourself.
It's the areas in your life where you've given up, where you've said, oh, I'm fine.
There are some things in life that are out of your control that you can't change and you've got to live with.
The choice that we have, though, is either to give up or keep on going.
I want to ask you, what are you going to believe?
Are you going to believe in yourself?
You're going to believe everybody else's judgment on you?
Are you going to believe people when they say that you're a failure?
If you think ordinary is cool, ain't no problem.
It's some really, really wonderful ordinary people.
But if you are sitting in this room and you have extraordinary aspirations,
then you're going to have to do extra.
One plus one is always going to equal two.
Two plus two is going to equal four.
And 10 years of motherfucking work when everybody else is partying, making excuses, doing the cool thing on the weekend is going to pay off.
So I always ask people and challenge people, like when you say something to the extent of not you but just a person, I'll get to it tomorrow.
I'm like, who promise you that?
Right?
I'll get to it a month from now.
I'm like, who promise you that?
Right?
Because light changes so quick, right?
And as people, we're often arrogant.
I was one of them.
We live our lives and we feel as if we promise something.
Right?
But when you think about it's like when we try to control things,
but when you really think about the macro of life
and the grand scheme of life,
we really don't have any control.
But just life in general, we have no control of that.
You're not afraid of having the fucking pot.
You're afraid of the fucking effort.
See, what you should understand is this.
We're all being tested.
And that road of success is a bumpy assing.
road, past the potholes, nails, detours and spit.
A lot of you're ever going to die for the nicely preserved body.
No bruises, no scars.
You're all the same thing to fucking resume.
Stay hard.
With that motivation, go forward into the heat of the battle where victory is forged.
You can't be comfortable with yourself if you don't know who yourself is.
And you can't know who yourself is if you don't stop looking at how everybody around you is
and start looking at what makes you comfortable and what makes you uniquely you.
There's roughly close to, I guess, about 8 billion people on this planet, but there's only one you.
That you're in the right place, doing the right thing.
at the right time and everyone wants that all the time.
Images of paradise are representations of that state of being.
So it's there for you, but there are preconditions that you strive to aim at the best.
And that has to be your fundamental ethos.
And it's a decision that despite all of the calamities of being,
that your primary ethical obligation is to work for the betterment of yourself,
and daughters.
Death is inescapable.
No way out.
Contrast between the darkness and the light without death, then there is no life.
I've lost.
Fizz, how blessed we are to have every day.
For yourself, for your family, the dreams of love and enterprise and travel and doing things,
becoming something unique on your journey here, don't lose your dreams.
Do some dreaming.
You not find often in yourself.
Offenance in yourself if you don't know who yourself is.
You won't find covenants in yourself if you're so busy
Trying to figure out what everybody around you thinks you want to be and then match that because
You're not going to make people around you happy.
You're not going to. Okay, so purpose and with passion to
To wake up in the morning and be and thankful for the opportunity
to go out into the world and from those that were so deaths.
So what is possible and what is not possible is not your business.
That is nature's business.
Nature will decide that.
You just see what is it that you really want and strive for that.
And if your thought is created in a powerful way without any negativity,
without any negative thoughts bringing down the intensity of the thought process,
The first and foremost thing is you must be clear what is it that you really want.
If you do not know what you want, the question of creating it doesn't arise.
If you look at what you really want, what every human being wants is he wants to live
joyfully, he wants to live peacefully, in terms of its relationships, he wants it to be loving
and affectionate. But in other words, all that any human being is seeking for is pleasantness
within himself, pleasantness around him. And let's embrace and cherish everything that life is and
every opportunity it gives us. The desire that are clouding your peace, your happiness. Every desire
you have is an access where you will suffer. So just don't focus on more than one desire at a time.
The universe is rigged in such a way that if you just want one thing and you focus on that, you'll get it.
But everything else, you got to let go.
That life is meaningless.
It was not a flippant assertion.
I think it's absurd.
The idea of seeking meaning in the set of circumstances that happens to exist after 13.8 billion years worth of unguided events.
Leave it to humans to think the universe has a purpose for them.
However, I am no nihilist.
I'm not even a cynic.
I am actually rather romantic.
and here's my idea of romance.
Life will sometimes seem long and tough and God, it's tiring,
and you will sometimes be happy and sometimes sad,
and then you'll be old, and then you'll be dead.
There is only one sensible thing to do with this empty existence,
and that is fill it, fill it.
And in my opinion, until I change it,
life is best filled by learning as much as you can,
about as much as you can,
taking pride in whatever you're doing, having compassion, sharing ideas, running, being enthusiastic.
And then there's love and travel and wine and art and kids and giving and mountain climbing,
but you know all that stuff already.
It's an incredibly exciting thing, this one meaningless life of yours.
One doesn't shine every day.
The storms will come.
There are times when the nights.
will be long and dark and you will be.
There will be times when the darkness seems to consume everything.
Don't let it consume you. Don't let it consume you.
Suffering is a byproduct of the unknown.
And that's why we will project out into the future and go, what if?
Because suffering does introduce a man or discomfort does introduce a man or a woman to their highest self.
I call it the other room. Like in your head,
and everybody's head, like there's this other place that you can go to,
you may have been there before.
And this other room, this other place, you get to meet your other self.
Comfort zone is dangerous.
When you're comfortable, you are at most dangerous.
You should never feel comfortable.
You should be happy and dissatisfied.
You should never be satisfied with what you got.
Because the attempt to get more makes you into something better all the time.
Lazy people do a little work and think they should be winning, but winners work as hard as possible and still worry if they're being lazy.
Passion.
Passion is that fire that you hold in your heart that will make you find a cause to pour your life into.
Passion is the thing that made you get up this morning and say I'm going to run, I'm going to lift, I'm going to go after my goals.
Passion is the most powerful motivator that you can have.
It's something that must be given to you by God and you must sharpen its tool and put it to work.
When it comes to passion, you have to realize that it will increase your will power.
It is the thing that is like weights.
You start off at one level.
The more that you work on, the more you pour into it, the stronger, the more powerful you will become.
That's when human beings change.
It's like if you want to take the island and you're the head of the army, you want to take the island, the most powerful way to take the island is burn the boats.
Because if there's no way to go back, it's amazing what happens when it's a must to do something versus a should.
Even in the darkest times, even in the strongest storms, even when the sun is blotted out and the world is falling apart, the darkness cannot extinguish you.
Your light.
You.
Your will.
Your determination.
No matter what is happening, no matter how hard the fight is, as long as you keep fighting, you win.
Only surrender is defeat.
Only quitting is the end.
Because the darkness only wins if you let it.
Do not let the darkness win.
Fight.
on against the darkness is to win.
Intentions.
I know so many people, I'm going to do that.
Yes, I think that's a good idea.
I think I'm going to do that.
Good intentions are the most overrated phrase in the world.
You've got to go from good intentions to good actions.
Nothing happens until you've got good actions.
You're not all you could be, and there's pain in that,
and there's the necessity for a certain amount of judgment about that,
and even a certain amount of exclusion, because what you are that is insufficient, in some sense,
should not be allowed to propagate further.
But, you know, here's some things about you that are virtuous and good, and they're pretty
powerful, actually, and if you just made those more manifest, you could dispense with a lot of this
immaturity and misery, and you could start walking this pathway that makes things better,
And the thing is that as soon as you start walking the pathway that makes things better,
then things immediately become better.
Because your whole orientation changes.
And, you know, if you're in a bad place but you're escaping, that's pretty positive.
Had reasons that empower you.
Why is it that you deserve your goal?
What are the five reasons that you won't give up?
When life catch you on the blind side, when the messenger of misery visits you,
what are you going to do?
What will keep you in the game?
when life knocked you to the canvas.
And it's your gimmick.
If you didn't have a father in your life,
you got to play your hand.
If you didn't have your father in your life,
if you did have your father,
you got to play your hand.
If your family gave you absolutely nothing,
you got to steward that.
If your family gave you everything,
you have to steward that.
We have two primary choices in life.
We can either accept conditions as they exist
or we can take the responsibility to change them.
See, a lot of people want to exempt themselves
from taking responsibility.
All they want to do is talk about the problem.
Every time you see them, they'll tell you their story
over and over and over and over again.
No, no.
You want to take responsibility for your life.
I got me here, I can get me out of this,
and I'm getting out.
I'm not going to be a volunteer victim.
You need to make it a habit
to start every fucking day
validating yourself,
because life is a marathon,
and this might be a chance.
challenging leg where you're like, I'm just going to throw in the towel. I'm not going to do that
thing. Hell no. If you're standing in front of that near, you deserve to feel the support and
empowerment and encouragement that you need. You are doing so much every single day that you don't
give yourself credit for. You got to learn to let the past go so you can grow. Many people
never act on their dreams because they allow their past experiences to determine what their
possibilities are. Whatever you've done in the past, that's not a reflection of your possibilities.
That's just a reflection of your consciousness. The future is unfolding for you right now.
If you had to do it all over again, would you make the same choices?
We can't run from what we are. But destiny. Fate, destiny. These words get thrown around
like there's some kind of magic. Like the universe has already laid out a perfect plan for your life.
And all you have to do is wait for it to unfold. But let me tell you something.
That's not how it works.
Destiny isn't something that's handed to you.
Fate isn't some predetermined path that's just waiting for you to stumble onto it.
If you think it is, you'll spend your whole life waiting, hoping, wondering why things aren't happening for you.
That's not destiny. That's passivity.
And there's a big difference between the two.
Your destiny, your real destiny, is out there.
It exists.
But it's not waiting for you.
It's waiting on you, waiting for you to step up, waiting for you to take the first step,
waiting for you to stop hoping that life will hand you something and start creating it for yourself.
Here's the truth, and it might be hard to hear.
The universe doesn't care about your dreams.
It doesn't owe you anything.
It's not going to put success, meaning, or purpose into your hands just because you want it badly enough.
If you want to chase your destiny, you have to be willing to fight you.
for it. You have to be willing to bleed for it. You have to be willing to go to war with yourself
for it. And yes, I said with yourself, because that's where the real battle is. It's not the world
that's stopping you. It's not the obstacles, the competition, or the circumstances. It's you.
It's the voice in your head that tells you, you're not good enough. You can't do this. You're going
to fail. It's the fear that keeps you small, the doubt that keeps you frozen.
The excuses that keep you from taking the risks you know you need to take.
But here's the thing about fate.
It's not fixed.
It's not rigid.
It bends to those who are willing to act.
It's forged by those who refuse to accept the life that's been handed to them.
Who refuse to settle for less than what they're capable of.
Fate doesn't decide your future.
You do.
And let's be honest.
Chasing your destiny is terrifying.
It's uncomfortable, it's messy.
Because to chase your dreams, to go after the life you want,
you have to let go of the life you already have.
You have to be willing to step into the unknown,
to take risks, to fail, not once, not twice, but over and over again.
That's the price of destiny.
That's the cost of greatness.
Most people aren't willing to pay that price.
Most people look at their dreams and think,
that would be nice, but they're not willing to pay.
to sacrifice for it. They're not willing to risk their comfort, their security, their ego.
And so they stay where they are. They settle. They let their dreams die inside of them,
slowly, quietly, until they convince themselves that they never really wanted them in the first
place, but not you, not if you're still listening. Because if you're still here, there's something
inside you that refuses to settle.
There's something inside you that knows you're meant for more.
There's something inside you that's willing to fight for it, no matter how hard it gets,
no matter how many times you stumble, no matter how much it hurts.
And let me tell you, it will hurt.
Chasing your destiny will break you.
It will push you to your limits.
It will force you to confront every fear, every insecurity, every weakness you have.
But that's the point.
Because destiny isn't just about what you achieve.
It's about who you become in the process.
It's about the strength you build, the resilience you forge, the person you create through the struggle.
You have to understand something.
The version of you that's sitting here right now.
The version of you that's safe, that's scared, that's comfortable.
That version of you cannot achieve your destiny.
It's not capable of it.
If you want to claim your fate, you have to let that version of yourself die.
You have to shed the old you, the weak you, the you that's been holding yourself back.
And that's hard. It's painful. Because growth is painful. Change is painful. But you know what's even more painful?
Regret. Looking back on your life and realizing that you let fear win, realizing that you had a chance to create something incredible, and you didn't take it.
realizing that you let the life you could have had slip through your fingers,
because you were too afraid to reach for it.
Don't let that be your story.
Don't let fear, doubt, or comfort keep you from chasing your dreams,
because your destiny is out there.
And yes, it's going to take everything you have to reach it.
But isn't that the point?
Isn't that what makes it worth it?
Fate doesn't favor the passive.
It doesn't reward the ones who sit and wait.
Fate favors the bold.
the ones who step into the fire, the ones who take risks, the ones who fail and rise and fail again,
because they know that every failure is a step closer to their dreams.
So, what are you waiting for?
Stop waiting for permission.
Stop waiting for the perfect moment.
Stop waiting for someone to tell you that you're ready.
You'll never be ready.
The stars will never align.
The perfect time will never come.
your destiny isn't a gift.
It's a challenge.
It's a test.
And the question is, are you willing to face it?
Are you willing to do what it takes, no matter how long it takes, no matter how hard it gets, no matter how many times you fall?
Because if you are, you're willing to step into the unknown, to fight for your dreams, to claim your fate.
Then there's nothing in this world that can stop you.
Not the obstacles, not the failures, not the doubts.
The only thing standing between you and your destiny is you.
So stop waiting.
Start moving.
And don't stop until the life you've dreamed of is the life you're living.
Your fate is yours to claim.
So claim it.
