For 50 years.
Canadians have wondered what the names of IKEA furniture mean.
Like Natopa, the guardrail for children's beds.
Natopa means giving your favorite person room to grow.
It means their safety and your piece of...
No. In Swedish, Natapa means night monkey.
Mike!
IKEA, 50 years of Swedishness at home.
Look, he's wearing little pajamas.
So cute.
Nobody else at the moment has the...
power to change you unless you have that initial spark and say I must do something.
I don't want this anymore.
In order for something new to come, something old must go.
And that old can sometimes mean let go of what you know until now.
Empty the cup.
Not a lot of people know what it feels like, do they?
angry in your bones. Those who want to lead the orchestra must be willing to turn their
back on the crowd. I think if you want to be the best at anything you have to make it your
life. Two type of champions for me like there are champions who prepare themselves to
win and there are the other ones who prepare themselves to dominate. Act now before tomorrow
becomes a memory of what could have been.
Genius, the door is isolation.
So when you go home at night, and you're by yourself, and the noise is gone, and the cheers are over, and the fun, and wherever hell you did that day is over, you go home alone.
So if you can't fix what's inside your soul, what's inside your heart, and what's inside your mind, you will forever be doomed to live that life of a person who doesn't want to be the great person that they were.
made to be.
You're stronger than me, you're faster to me.
You can live more weights to me, though.
What makes me a champion and you're not?
Something got to be it.
I believe it's that passport.
It's crazy land.
It's that mental.
It's that thing.
Like, I'm willing to do something.
It's a mentality thing.
If you want to maximize everything that you have with your career and your ability,
then squeeze the fuck out of that lending.
Before you get in that race to chase greatness,
And this is extremely important.
You have to deal with what's chasing you.
Look out there.
Out there is the perfect lap.
No mistakes.
Every gear change, every corner.
Perfect.
You see it?
I think so.
Most people can't.
Most people don't even know it's out there, but it is.
It's there.
It's not that simple.
Why not?
No, that's the biggest lie I was ever told.
It's not that simple.
And it's a lie they tell you over and over again.
What's not simple?
Any bit.
All of it.
It's how they get you to give up.
They say it's not that simple, Vinnie.
So what's the truth?
That it is.
That if you just do the thing that they tell you, you can't, then it's done.
And so while I got humbled, I also gained this thing called confidence and belief.
And once you gain that, and you know where it comes from, a real place, not like my mom said, oh, I believe in you.
No, my belief came from the unseen work.
It came from every workout by myself, not having a best friend or a trainer to someone wake me up.
No, it was fighting average alone.
And when you fight average alone,
what comes out is a fucking savage,
a dog, a beast, a monster.
How can you beat someone who cannot fucking quit?
How can you beat someone who every time they go through a hard time,
they get better and they get stronger,
instead of getting weaker and getting demoralized?
How can you beat someone who looks back on
all the tests that they've had and said, yeah, that wasn't shit, dude.
Bring it the fuck gone.
A real man in the dark, when nobody's watching, he put me in work.
A real man, when coach ain't even watching, he's studying film on his own.
Because he's, he lost the process.
If you will be a champion, if you will be a beast, you're going to have to go through something.
Ain't nobody going to hand you nothing.
Anybody going to hand you no championship.
Ain't anybody going to hand you no title.
If you don't commit to it, it's not going to come into fruition.
It's not just going to happen overnight.
It's not just going to fall in your fucking lap.
You've got to commit.
You just do the work and you get there.
The human mind, the human body, the human psyche is so pliable.
You can literally become anyone and anything.
Multiply that over time and experience and don't quit even when it sucks.
You want to reach your goal?
How to reach the goal the quickest?
Be focused with your energy.
Meaning be focused with the mind.
Don't lose the goal from the mind.
Whatever you do from the moment of waking up until the evening,
whatever you do, keep the goal in the mind.
This is the quickest way of making this goal become real.
Number two.
Simply said, you don't like discomfort.
You don't like challenges.
You don't like hardship.
So I described it like walking along the past
and then suddenly it starts to rain,
but you don't like rain.
So instead of you just continue, follow the past, you are starting to make your mind busy about what you don't like.
And already that means the mind starts to shift again, losing the focus of the goal.
It's a weird thing to want a permission slip for mediocrity, which is fundamentally what excuses are.
You just want permission from everyone else to still get respect without the outcome.
because of your extenuating circumstances.
And the thing is, there's a ton of allure,
but the only person who actually believes that is you.
People might not along.
The people who love you might say,
yeah, know what, you are special.
You are special stuff.
Like your mama might so love you.
But like, you're not going to earn anyone's respect.
And I think you certainly won't earn the respect
with the person that matters most,
which is you.
Because you'll always know
that you could have done more,
that you could have done better.
That's the one that keeps me up.
I have a saying that I tell myself a lot when I'm doing something that I don't want to do.
And it's, I will do what is required.
It's not about doing your best.
It's about doing what's required because what's required might be better than your best is right now.
The good news is that your best can get better.
At the end of the day, it's not the trophies or the titles you're going to answer to.
It's you.
Did you become someone you're proud to be?
That's the real scoreboard.
That's the one that matters.
because if you can't respect the person in the mirror,
nothing else you build will ever feel like enough.
Earn your own respect first.
Everything else will fall into place.
Almost have to be insane a little bit
to have such blind faith in something that you can't see.
Motivation is great.
Like all of us, like some of us right now they're having.
But what makes a winner is you really,
realize that motivation is a temporary motherfucker.
Be motivated by the fear of being average.
Average is the quiet killer.
When you hit snooze, when you skip a workout, when you make excuses, before you know it,
you're living a life of average.
Never even trying to reach your potential.
Physically soft, mentally weak, spiritually empty.
You must not fear the discomfort.
You must not fear the failure.
But you must fear the average.
You know what's terrifying?
Waking up one day and realizing life has passed you by.
Show up even when you don't feel like it.
Do the work, regardless of your circumstances.
Never settle for good enough.
Average is the enemy.
What would you do if there were no limitations?
Because there are none, all right?
You have to be willing to start at square one.
You have to be willing to start something new.
But if you're willing to do that, there are no limitations.
If you're willing to decide I want to do this and you're willing to go down to
the path and not quit and you have the basic intelligence to not make the same
mistake over and over and over again there's really no limits to what you can do
talk is cheap action is expensive right and when I hear it like action is
always going to cost us something right you could say it all day but action has to
follow it up like what you're willing to sacrifice what you're willing to give up
right because that's the action
Right. Everybody wants something. Everybody aspires to get something. That's the easy part.
The doubt of a thousand people on me is less dangerous than if I had self-doubt.
The most important conversation you could ever have is that conversation that takes place between your ears, right, with yourself.

My name is Siaiaa and I live in the most beautiful place on earth.
Seven months ago, I blew up my life, and a lot has shifted since then.
Everyone is moving forward.
I'm still working on that.
And that's me.
Welcome to Ice Cove.
Where are the penguins?
That's Antarctica.
We're the other one.
North of North, stream all episodes, available on CBCJem.
Let's say you're miserable and unhappy.
Okay, here's a cure.
find what's valuable and let it go
so we could say well maybe it's a relationship that you have
and you're suffering terribly because of it
well what do you do maybe you let it go
it's a sacrifice and the idea is that well that'll clear the future for you
you're not great until you release greatness into someone else
the ability to recognize and relate to
to see someone and release greatness in them and through them is a characteristic of greatness.
If you're not careful, you're minimized and try to equalize.
But one of the greatest things you can do is find someone and pour into them.
That's a sign of greatness.
If potential is not what you've done, but what you could do,
then whatever you've done is no longer your potential.
Therefore, you should never be impressed by what you've done, because if you are impressed by what you've done, it'll stop you from doing what you could do.
The greatest enemy of progress is your last success.
You've lived a life dominated by doubt and fear.
How do you step into bravery?
Step.
That's how you step into bravery.
Step.
Take the step.
step aggressively towards your fear.
Ladies and gentlemen, everything matters.
And you know you're somebody.
You know I'd rather lose out on my dream
doing the right thing than the cheat
trying to make a shortcut to get to my goal.
I want to be able to look myself in the mirror.
That's what you want to do.
There's no saying judge a man not by what he does, but by that that he doesn't have to do.
And the judge your true quality of a man is what do you do when nobody's looking.
He's got long-term plans for your life and for your generation.
He's got a magnificent plan.
It may feel hard where you're at right now.
You may feel discouraged and you may feel like giving up because it seems like
that all you feel is weariness.
Here's the point.
Opposition escalates with opportunity.
And that means you have not peaked yet.
That means that your greatest days are not behind you.
They absolutely, I tell you with 100% confidence,
you have not peaked yet.
Your greatest days are in your future, not in your past.
And that, that step towards your fear is the step into bravery.
Because we're scared of what we don't know.
And there is only one way to learn and to know.
And that is to confront that fear.
Good out there for you in the universe that has your name on it.
And nobody can get your good.
It has your name on it.
They can't take your stuff.
It's your stuff.
So when you know that,
when you know that whatever you're seeking,
it's also seeking you.
You don't worry.
You don't run scared.
You don't think somebody's going to take it from you.
You listen to your inner voice
and you always take the high road.
There will be the tendency, the natural inclination
to take the low road.
low road, you must resist that.
Position that you've ever experienced.
And you've got to be soldiers.
You've got to learn
how to handle it.
You've got to be able
to deal with running
with the horses. You keep
saying, I want the big doors. You keep
saying, I want you to use me.
You keep saying it. What you're
asking God for is you want to run
with the horses. You don't want to be down here.
You want to be up here. Okay.
Then with the bigger,
doors comes greater opposition. It's about facing your fears. It takes discipline to face your fears
so you can conquer them. That's what discipline is. Discipline means taking the hard road,
the uphill road to do what's right for yourself and for other people.
Sixty years to put yourself together and God only knows what you could
become and that's so that message is so much more it's so funny because it's so it's such an attack
but it's so positive because there's faith there in the in the potential that makes up the person
rather than the miserable actuality that happens to be manifesting itself at the moment
wherever you are in life ladies and gentlemen you've got comeback power i don't care how low you are
I don't care what you have done.
I don't care what you have experienced.
I don't care how devastated your life might appear to be.
The shambles it might be in.
There's a power in you that can enable you to be stronger and better than anything that's out here.
It's so often the easy path.
The easy path that calls to us to be weak for that moment,
to break down for that moment, to give in to the easy path.
the desire and the short-term gratification.
But the discipline will not allow that.
The discipline calls for strength and fortitude and will.
Constantly note that you're not what you could be to take responsibility for that
and to commit yourself, like body and soul, to the attainment of that ideal.
Everyone has their disabilities, let's say, and I know that some people are far more
Terribly affected than other people
But the question is what do you do about that and what you do is you you set yourself up on your damn crutches
And you struggle up the bloody hill
That's what you do and you struggle up the hill towards the kingdom of God
That's what you do because the alternative is to descend into the abyss
That's the alternative and then so to say well do you believe it's like I believe that you should
struggle uphill towards the city of God on your crutches.
That's what you should do.
That's the opposite of the descent into the abyss.
And so that's at the foundation of our civilization, that idea.
Argue with it, if you will.
See if you can figure out why that's not an acceptable idea.
Maybe you should help someone struggle up the hill.
Perhaps you should.
You know, you can lend a hand to someone,
only you don't want to take the burden away from them entirely,
There's something noble about struggling up the damn hill, right?
There's something that's adventure.
That's the call to proper being.
It's like, well, we don't need to forget this.
No one's coming back to help you.
So it starts with that person and that merit.
You have to realize you are on your own now.
I don't care what you believe in, but on earth is a very lonely journey.
The price for a full life is mistakes.
Mistakes are the price for a full life that you have to pay if you learn from them.
I believe that hell wants to main you and mock you with your mistakes.
But heaven wants to make you and transform you by your mistakes.
Failure should not become a prison house where you're held hostage the rest of your life by your mistakes.
your mistakes. That's not God's voice, that's not God's wheel, that's not God's plan for you.
And I'm not naive. And you don't take pride in what you do, but the thing about loving
the process, everybody wants to prize, but nobody loves to process. Everybody wants to be a champion,
but nobody's willing to put in the work that it takes to be a champion. Everybody wants to hold
up the trophy and say, man, I get it, but nobody's willing to put in the work that it takes to do it.
I love the process.
I love the thought of working for what I want.
And I firmly believe you never supposed to wish for it more than you're willing to work for.
Who you are.
You must go back generation.
You are following the same as a repetition of the cycle.
Walking by faith.
That's walking by sight.
If I can see it, I'll do it.
No, no, no, no, no.
That's a lot of people saying, if I can see it, I'll believe it.
No, no, no, no.
If you believe it, you can see it.
Don't be disturbed because no one else can see it.
That's not unusual.
That is ordinary.
But because you want some different kind of results in your life,
you've got to be willing to be unreasonable.
But a lot of people they wish, and they're not willing to work.
And the great thing about life, life has a funny way of testing all of us
and seeing how bad we really want what it is that we say we want.
But life is going to hit you with a certain level of opposition.
Life is going to hit you with a certain level of adversity,
and life is going to say to you, you said you wanted it,
now let's see how bad you really want it.
I want one thing from me.
As great as you are, as skilled as you are, as talented as you are,
I just want one thing from me.
Never allowed life to make you forget why you do what you do.
You have to find a dream that's so big that it overwhelms all of your fears and causes you to never give up.
Now you're going to think about quitting no matter what you do, but I've thought about it many times.
Until you learn how to figure it out, until you learn how to tap it on the back and say, I know you there.
I don't want nobody to leave here today or not none.
We must find a way to push through pain.
to understand that's on the other side of that it's going.
And it starts with the accountability mirror,
looking at saying, hey, all these things are coming back.
I have to face myself.
And you have to own all those things that people may have done to you.
Now it's yours.
You got to own it.
It's yours now to fix the problems that people did to you.
It makes no sense.
It's not fair.
I get it.
But if you live in that, what was me mentality of guess what?
My dad did this to me.
My mom just did to me.
People who bullied did this to me.
You're gonna always live right there.
You have to figure out ways to move forward because you're not coming back.
People don't burn out, people don't quit, people don't underachieve, people don't settle because of what they do.
People burn out, people quit, people underachieve, and people settle because life makes them forget why they do it.
If we respect it the way we say we respect it, if we love it the way we say we love it,
if we cherish it the way we say we cherish it,
We say we cherish it.
Every single day should be nothing less than excellence.
You might not always be your best, but you can always bring me your best.
Not happiness. Forget about that.
If it comes, well, great, accept it.
Dignity, nobility, character, truth, responsibility, beauty.
Those are the things to aim for.
Road to life is straight and narrow, and few there be that find it,
because few there be that are willing to do the things today others won't do in order to have the things tomorrow others won't have
don't just read this book don't just listen to the podcast don't just watch videos online don't just take notes
don't just study them don't just share them with your friends don't just plan don't just
Mark your calendar. Don't just get motivated. Don't just talk. Don't just think.
Don't just dream matters matters is that you actually do. You see, I'm a firm believer that perspective drives performance every day of a week.
Like I'm a firm believer how our individual view what they do will always affect how they do what they do.
Y'all got to start loving your life. Be comfortable on who you are if you come from a family right now that's brun you
Use that to your advantage.
I use that to my advantage that I was a high school dropout,
that I was homeless.
I love dealing with a dude who think,
because he comes for money, he's better than me.
Let's go.
Let's go.
You got money, but do you got that dog?
Yeah, you got money, you got prill, but do you got that dog?
Dude, you got that stamina.
So yeah, you might have something I don't have right now,
but if I work hard, I can have what you have.
If I face anything that's challenging,
whenever anything sucks.
sucks. I like it. It's going to make me tougher. It's going to give me a good story to tell.
It's going to toughen my mind. When something sucks, good. It's going to make me tougher,
and it's going to make us stronger. So bring it.
Sit on your bed one day and ask yourself, what remarkably stupid things am I doing on a regular
basis to absolutely screw up my life? And if you actually ask that question, but you have to want to
know the answer, right? Because that's actually what asking the question means. It doesn't mean just
mouthing the words. It means you have to decide that you want to know. You'll figure that's out so
fast it'll make your hair curl. What would happen if you consulted yourself about the best possible
outcome for you? You might get an answer. When people are truly passionate about what they do,
you just get a chemical rush. You get the energy. You become more resourceful. When someone
who doesn't have passion because they don't really want to be there anyway, they will give up way
easier because they're not having a good time. It's not in them. Don't try to change the world
unless you seek change the way a man whose head is on fire seeks a pond. Because at the end of the
day, when the clock stops, let's just be real with you. I'm not a stats guy. I'm not a numbers guy.
I'm a heart guy. But when it's all said and done, nobody's showing up at somebody's
feeling of saying, man, you saw the square footage of his own?
Oh man, you saw his car?
You saw his Rose Royce?
How about his bank account?
They're showing up talking about impact.
That's showing up talking about moments.
They're showing up talking about connection.
I'm not one of these guys that claim I know everything,
but I do know this.
In life, people don't burn out because of what they do.
People burn out because life makes them forget why they do it.
So another year is coming and gone.
And a lot of us are the same place we were last year.
What can you wait on?
We sleep one-third of our lives.
And we think we can take days off.
We think we have the right to sit back and give ourselves options on which way we're going to go in life.
Am I going to run today?
Am I going to work out today once it's Christmas?
It's New Year's.
It's my birthday.
Do you think time gives the fuck that it's true?
Christmas, that it's New Year's, that's your birthday, you give me some too many options.
Let me tell you one thing.
Time is running out.
Keep on sitting around wondering what you want to do.
You just can run out of time.
So make sure you do one thing.
Stop following the crowd.
They may take time off, but you can't afford to.
Stay hard.
Comfort zone is dangerous.
When you're comfortable, you are at most.
danger. You should never feel comfortable. You should be happy and dissatisfied.
Anybody ever tell you, hey, look, you know what? Just be satisfied with what you got.
Don't believe them. Get them away from me. You should never be satisfied with what you got.
Because the attempt to get more makes you into something better all the time.
Don't take it for granted. No, every second you get that isn't painful, you should cherish.
I always say, what would I tell my future son?
Because if I can't tell him to get through adversity right now,
if I can't tell him to keep pushing through,
if I can't say, if I don't live that,
if I don't live through that,
how am I going to ever give him genuine advice one day
to get through it on his own?
Yes, life can be overwhelming.
That's the way life works.
It is going to throw problems of you
and it is going to throw them at you
all at the same time.
This is the way life works.
Let me tell you, that does not mean give up fighting.
Let these challenges raise you up.
Let them elevate you.
Let their demands and their trials make you stronger.
Let the adversity you face today turn you into a better person tomorrow.

It is to do hard work.
We want to be much more than average.
But just don't know how to do it every single day to grind.
It finds one of all those gears up.
So check it out.
This is a mindset
Maybe it's true, maybe it's not
What's the position you are
Who wants the job you have
There's someone out
They're hungry
It wants everything you can have
Maybe it's true
Maybe it's not
But if it is
It's gonna be your ass
So make that a motivation for you
No matter what you face
No matter how bad
It is going to be
when there is a challenge, any challenge,
anything that you're facing,
the only way to overcome the challenges that you face
is to start walking.
Road to winning.
People look at you and they're like, your success.
All right?
Road has so many more steps.
Those steps are infinite.
Sometimes you get to see them.
Sometimes you get to see them.
Sometimes you don't.
Sometimes they're there, other times you're wobbly.
You don't know if that next step is going to be there, but you have enough belief in yourself to say, I'm going to take that step.
I may miss the step, I may fall, I may get scraped, but I know there's another step.
I know it.
I believe inside me that there's another step that I have to take.
As you look at your goals and dreams, every day we must
convince ourselves. We must sell ourselves on
that it's possible. Every seminar, every workshop,
every book that I've ever read, every speaker that I've ever heard,
it interrupted what I was believing about myself.
Everything that you do, everything matters.
As you go through each day, looking at my life,
everything matters.
Tehan, is right. How you do anything is how you do everything.
I became obsessed with being the baddest that God ever created.
Am I that? I don't care.
I believe it.
And I was trying to tell them once you become obsessed with something,
obsessed, it's okay to be unbalanced for a while.
It's okay. Don't be...
All this stuff, people say, you gotta be balanced.
To be the best in the world at what you do.
The best at what you do, you have to be unbalanced
find every bit of energy and strength that you have to pull it off then you get
balanced once you become great so why because our obsessions become our
possessions you've heard this before but if you really begin to think about what
you think about on a regular basis most of you are thinking about what you're
worried about you're afraid of and what you're concerned or anxious about and you
don't take control of your thoughts you don't take control about what you're putting
in your mind. See, most people want it easy. See, easy come, easy what? Easy go. And I'm saying to you
whatever you got to do, do it because if you don't, life is going to whoop you until you surrender.
That step every day, no matter what you are facing, get up and start walking. Every time you lose,
what are you gained from it? So every time I've lost, people have said, people have said,
say you got to jump right back up.
You know, get back right on your feet again.
And I disagree with that.
After you lose, well, when you get knocked down,
stay down there for a minute.
Understand why you lost.
What were the reasons?
Why are you down here?
Why did you lose?
Why did you get knocked down?
Because if you just jump right back up,
you're going to lose again and again,
and you're going to lose the same way.
Why are you so da-gone crazy?
Because I'm trying to be the best I can to give you the best that I am.
And it takes being, getting obsessed to where people think you're crazy.
It's necessary as you look at your goals and your dreams.
It's necessary that you have a strategy and a game plan to change the story that you believe about yourself.
And that's an ongoing process.
I've discovered, and many people have, that what we do, what we accomplish,
What we produce is a result of the story we believe about ourselves.
Because things are going to happen to you.
That most people go to their graves with their talents and abilities and skills in them.
It's because of the fact, number one, many are like me.
They didn't know that they didn't know and thought they knew.
I thought I knew myself and I really didn't know myself as well as I thought.
I've discovered that sometimes people can take you to a place within yourself that you can't go by yourself.
rest in the middle, rest at the end. Winters rest at the end. The greatest gift anyone can ever give you
in life is doubt. What you do is you set yourself up on your damn crutches and you struggle up the
bloody hill. That's what you do and you struggle up the hill towards the kingdom of God. That's what you
do because the alternative is to descend into the abyss. That's the alternative. And then so to say,
well, do you believe? It's like, I believe that you should struggle uphill towards the city of God
on your crutches. That's what you should do. You know, you can lend a hand to someone,
only you don't want to take the burden away from them entirely because there's something noble
about struggling up the damn hill, right? There's something, that's adventure. That's the call to
proper being. It's like, well, we don't need to forget this. You know, we don't need to forget it.
So what would happen if you didn't have to find it?
What would happen if you could simply summon it?
And I think that that changes everything for people.
If you believe that there is one thing that you were ordained to do,
pick your ever-specific thing,
well then you're always going to be dissatisfied
as you bounce from one thing to another, arms folded, say,
nope, that's not it, that's not it.
What if instead we could simply say,
I am choosing to be passionate about what I do?
And my purpose is whatever I am doing.
I'm going to be here for it, I'm present for it, I'm nearly going to do it.
And so it doesn't matter that you overshoot continually.
Because as you overshoot, even if you don't learn what you should have done,
you're going to continually learn what you shouldn't keep doing.
And if you learn enough about what you shouldn't keep doing,
then that's tantamount at some point to learning at the same time,
you should be doing. I've got to get up and get going. I've got to become unstoppable. And I'm here to
tell you right now, becoming unstoppable is a thing. It is very real and has everything to do with who you
want to become and has nothing to do with who you are today. We can't have such a scarcity mindset
that we think that only one person is great. Greatness does not mean you beat everybody else.
Greatness to me means that you went right to the edge of what you were capable of doing in this moment.
So I began to think about the person I wanted to become.
I stopped worrying about who I was right now,
and I began to paint a vision of how the person would act that I want to become.
And I began to act in that fashion.
Many of us never realized our greatness because we become sidetracked by secondary activity.
We spread ourselves too thin.
Don't know how to say no.
And we find ourselves doing all kinds of things
and never ever have time to do those things that we need to do
to work on ourselves.
And then there goes a second.
That goes another second.
There goes another second.
And we can't stop and hold time.
And before you know it, you wake up one day
and you're behind in your dreams and your bills.
And so it feels to me like talent is a betrayal.
It is undermining all.
of the people who put all that work into skill. Don't call someone skillful talented because
they're not. You're skillful.
The most important question any man must decide for himself is whether or not he lives in a friendly
or hostile universe. You can choose to put in the work to gain the skill. And if that's true,
that's really good news. Because it means you
you're not stuck where you are. It means you can go to where you want to go. And it's really
good news because skills can be acquired. We have all pulled a web of lies over our own eyes.
And the web of lies is what you tell yourself about what's possible for you and for the world.
And once you get that web of lies over your eyes, you simply see it as reality. And you don't
understand that each one of those fundamental beliefs is alterable, that you could choose to believe
something else. In fact, you don't even realize that they are beliefs.
There's something in each and every one of you that waits and listens to the voice of the
genuine in yourself. It will be perhaps the only guide you will ever have. And if you cannot
hear it, all of your life, your days will be spent on the ends of strains that somebody else
holes, not happiness. Forget about that. If it comes, well, great, accepted. Dignity, nobility,
character, truth, responsibility, beauty. Those are the things to aim for.
You get to choose whether you're living in a friendly or a hostile universe. There's no objective
reality. It just is what it is. You're going to get what you see. You're going to get what you
focus on and you see what you focus on. So the more you focus on, the world works against me.
I've got bad luck. The more you're going to see proof of that. You're going to seek it out.
You're going to act in accordance with that belief. If on the other hand, you believe the human
potential is nearly limitless. I don't care how talented you are. I don't care how talented you are.
I don't care how much you work on yourself. There are some times with things I'm going to go right.
But I really believe everything you do in life.
should be in service of your goals.
And the moment that you're acting out of alignment with your goals,
you either have a problem with your goal or with your behavior,
one of them is going to have to change.
I suggest to you that if you are facing a challenge,
don't stop.
Stay busy.
Work your plan.
Continue to do those things that you know that work for you
after you have evaluated yourself in the situation.
Continue to move.
Stay busy, stay busy, stay busy.
The only thing,
ultimately that's ever going to matter in your life is how you feel about yourself when you're by yourself.
